Ouch, losing posts sucks. You should get into the habit of copying your entire post into a notepad or something, so that when you hit "reply" and something goes wrong, you can easily reenter it.  It wasn't the reply button that did it, I always copy my posts before submitting, for some odd reason a new page opened up on its own over and when I clicked back the post was gone. But I've turned on drafts so it hopefully won't happen again. |

The first three concerns are easily remedied, as my public (and only known) profile is that of an accomplished scholar, well versed in many fields. I would likely be hired based on my knowledge of psychology and possibly linguistics, if my position is to be that of an aide to Miss Dadurian. The fourth concern is likewise insubstantial, as I would not require access to the organization as a whole, and indeed I would likely be unaware of the existence of a greater organization at the outset of my infiltration. It is the fifth concern that is most dooming, as while I am certain I can create a coincidental means by which I discovered the activities of your agents, it may be better, and much more conducive to a good storyline, if I was to wait until your team has gained more success and created something of a reputation before I attempt my infiltration. Often times, I find that the overuse of coincidence can leave a story feeling hollow, and that is a fate I do not wish this crew to suffer. Coincidence is often overused, but done in the right way it can be effective. For example if we were to recruit you for this project rather than you finding us it would start the storyline without relying too much on coincidence. If your known profile is impressive enough, or even impressive but slightly off so to speak, meaning there is suspicion that it isn't complete, we may take interest in you to either have you on our team or keep an eye on you, albeit unbeknownst to the rest of the team. Both sides would in effect be gaining intel. Hello all, Twisted Fate here, more or less in new skin. I plan on continuing our RP, though on the other site it was at well seemed like a stall. That is an excellent idea, though I am afraid I must decline. The intellectual finesse required to properly write this character is difficult for me to conjure at the moment, due to some health issues I am experiencing in real life, and I fear I could not do him justice. I had thought I could simply work through the difficulty, but the greatly varying intensity of my symptoms seems to demand otherwise. I feel I must withdraw my application in favor of writing less intellectually challenging characters, which is to say, characters of no greater intelligence than I personally possess. It is a difficult thing to fake in the best of circumstances, and mine are currently far from ideal. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, though I suspect my impact has been minimal.
