Z'har almost couldn't believe his luck. The big lizard had dived right past him. That & the lack of fire from the others mean he now had a clear path to the still open door. Luckily, the flanking lizard had to deal with the same cluster of desks that Z'har had been hiding in. Throwing the book he had picked up in a flat discus toss at the huge Trandoshan's chest. In the same rising, spinning motion, he grabbed the far edge of the desk he had been hiding behind & bodily launched himself across it. Z'har was a big man, roughly the same size as the Trandoshan bearing down on him, & even then was a fair bit heavier than he strictly should be for flesh & blood though still within possible upper bounds. The strength of the launch & his own weight combined resulted in the nearly five hundred pound desk to shift half an inch as he went sailing over it. Turning his dive into a roll, Z'har once again launched himself into the air, this time to clear the still screaming man taking a rest on Z'har's energy drink. On the far side of the human, Z'har landed roughly & slid through the door into the hallway. The entire sequence had taken precisely a second & a half. Scrambling, quickly to his feet Z'har took off down the hall. The chase was one. It had been a long time since he had played the role of the rabbit.

Z'har would have made it to the end of the corridor before a bloodcurdling scream was followed by the sound of blaster fire. The cacophony was ended by a large body racing through the air from the crossing corridor, crashing against the corner with a gnarly crunching sound as the being's spine was snapped.
Down the hall, three of the Praxeum's massive training droids were cutting through the unwashed and untrained cultists much like the Jedi they were meant to train would have. Yellow training blades had been dialed up to their maximum strength and whatever safety protocols the large ASP droids had been programmed with had clearly been done away with. And whatever form they used against their Jedi trainees had been left by the wayside as well; the droids carried out their tasks with violence on par with their speed and strength. If their blades couldn't reach the cultists, their arms would. If an enemy was down, but still fighting, a well-placed stomp would handle that. And the screams of betrayal and anguish from their prey did nothing to halt their advances.
Down the other side of the hall, back towards the library, another group of droids had apparently found Z'har's old friends.

Z'har drew up short at the sight of the ongoing massacre. It wasn't the first time he had seen something like that, in fact he had been on either side at various points in the past, but it was still something that took a moment to adjust to. On one hand, he wasn't in much danger from the droids. His own chassis was powerful enough to pull them physically apart & his internal supports were strong enough to resist the lightsabres they were wielding. On the other hand, that would very quickly blow his cover straight out the airlock. He took a fraction of a second to turn his internal clock up to 25% of his maximum, boosting his & computation times to nearly three hundred times faster than a normal human. For the moment however, he left his reaction speed at 1% & strength gains at 3%, which was still within the upper realms of human limits.
Now he could afford to take his time as everything else seemed to slow way down. The first thing he did was mentally check to see how many of the living beings were left, how many had already fallen & what weapons they had on hand. Most of the gear looked like standard security troop fare. A mix of blaster rifles, a few baster pistols, & the odd vibroblade. With the extended time to think, he noticed that the droids were moving much faster & more surely than would be expected from simple labor droids. In fact, they were moving like jedi. If he jumped his levels to full power, he could handle one Jedi level opponent. Two would be difficult. Three would take him to pieces, even with his skeleton able to shrug off the occasional hit. His best bet would be to grab a blaster rifle, rig it to blow & chuck it down the hall.
Fortune smiled on him as a droid backhanded a cultist in his direction. Well, more accurately, the man's weapon flew in his direction. The cultist himself ended up painting the wall a ways closer to the droids. Even with plenty of time to plan the move & watching the weapon tumble end over end in slow motion, it was still like forcing his arm through syrup to catch it before it passed. The annoyance of turning up his clock speed without boosting his movement speed.
As the blaster rifle slapped into his palm, Fortune smiled on him again. Unfortunately, Fortune can be both fair & foul. There was the slight tingle of energy arcing between his hand & the weapon a moment before it hit & Z'har had time to think one thing.
oh crap.
As the rifle touched his skill, the full effect of the leaking energy hit him. To a normal human, the shock would have numbed the arm at most. In Z'har the effect was somewhat more ... drastic. Time seemed to burst back into full speed as his internal sensors & readouts turned to useless gibberish. Lances of phantom pain seemed to jump & strike at random, sensations usually held in check by carefully designed programs. Z'har tried to focus on the steadily approaching droids. It was like trying to think while on fire, it could be done but only with difficulty & only the simplest things.

At once, the training droids in the archive filed out to take advantage of the interloper's misfortune. They did not need to see it happen with their own photoreceptors; each droid was slaved to the main network, patched in not only to the Praxeum's security systems, but to each and every one of their mechanical comrades. Both another training droid and the security camera monitoring that hallway had seen the stranger's sudden staggering. And while the droids themselves did not have the hardware to provide a full diagnostic, the AI that controlled them knew that the stranger's behavior was not common. An arc of energy had caused a combatant to freeze up squarely in the middle of a firefight without cover. No sudden yelp of pain. No involuntary reaction. The oracle knew what that meant. Having been one itself for most of its operational lifespan, it knew an assassin droid when it saw one.
Advancing in a single line down the hallway, three training droids marched in unison, each one activating their yellow-bladed lightsaber arms in unison. The center droid advanced slightly and extended its arm outward. The yellow blade began to spin clockwise, slowly gaining speed until it became little more than a blur.

It was like trying to think while someone shoved a taser into his spine. He managed to release the grip on the weapon. It was more of a confused haze than a solid thought, but he knew it would take several minutes before his programs would even start to reboot. Maybe as much as an hour of slowly recovering his capabilities. As his eyes came back into focus, a yellow disc filled his vision.
Too close.
Too fast.
No time.
The yellow blade slammed into his shoulder, the high tensile materials weren't made to handle that level of heat & parted instantly. The laminanium endoframe beneath stood up someone better. But even it wasn't made to handle a lightsabre. Its main strength was the ability to 'heal' damage, but with his systems scrambled it was no better than a more common metal. The blow sheered Z'har D'Ordinii in half down to the waist. There the blade met its first real resistance in the form of the Admiral's compact reactor core. Unfortunately, the core wasn't designed for that sort of heat hitting it from the outside. The core breached. A core that size could be vented safely, if given a open space & a few days. Neither of those terms applied here. The crack from the breach caused a fountain of super heated & radioactive particles to bloom upward. The the softer remains of Z'har's upper torso more or less evaporated, along with a good chunk of his metal skeleton. If he had time for one last thought, it would have been that at least he would likely take his killers with him. Along with what would likely be a fair chunk of the surrounding building.

Walking through the empty halls Zeds feet crunched over the dead leaves and detritus that littered the ground. Despite the leaves and planets the inside of the Praxeum was still in good condition, or it was up until they reached the hallway just outside the Archives proper. Here the walls were covered in soot and ash and only a few corners away from their destination a massive hole was in the ground and walls. Here the ground had fallen the massive carved stone seemingly crumbled and around the edges a black glass could be seen. WHatever had gone off here was hot. Nuclear hot. Checking the mini Geiger counter the radiation seeming eked out from this location. I sure hope your armour is as good as you say it is Lionhart.
Thankfully the hole wasn't too hard to jump over assuming one could be use the Force. Doing just that he stood outside the archives waiting for his fellow Jensaarai to join him

Edward kept pace with Zed as they ventured deeper and deeper into the abandoned Praxeum. Even as empty as it was, it was an impressive sight to see. His gaze wandering occasionally down a side corridor, remembering his daughter running through them. But those days were long gone. The Jedi has packed up, and nothing remained but this mausoleum. He came to a stop at the edge of the crater, his nerves remaining stone cold even as the counter readings started almost maxing out Hah! I could stand in the heart of a reactor and be fine! We would be wise not to linger here too long, for your sake... He watched Zed jump first, waiting until his companion was clear before leaping himself. The Force assisting him to gain some air. And then the booster in the back of his armour activated, pushing him clear across to the other side. He landed with a heavy thud, before rising to his full height once more Easy as pie... now lets see what has been left behind...

Walking through the threshold the comm link in his ear rang and the Shard who stayed behind to monitor the ship pinged through
Sir, be advised there is someone in orbit trying to get a hold the Jedi order. I guess they didnt get the message that they aren't here any more.
After listening to the original message he turned to face Ned tilting his head to the right. Someone named Kirruk Actual is trying to get a hold of the Jedi here. Our tech expert caught the message and sent it to me. Tell me Ned what do you think we should do? Should we let Mr Actual know that the Jedi are all gone or...
Of all the people that had joined Zed on the trip Ned had proven himself the most invaluable member of their group. Sure some were older, smarter or just straight up stronger but as far as he was concerned none were as wise. If he had it his way he would ignore this person and let them move on, the shadows had always kept the Jensaarai alive. The last time they had stepped out of it had nearly removed them from the galaxy. He wanted someone elses opinion on it though, maybe his new friend would think differently and in a way that would allow them to prosper again.

Edward came to a stop just beside Zed. His gaze briefly sweeping over the archives, eager to get in there and see just what could be salvaged from the wreckage. But his attention was drawn to Zed, as the man drew his attention to the ship that had shown up in orbit. Mentioning something about Kirruk Actual, something he suspected was probably a code name, and looking for the Jedi. There were many possibilities as to who this person was and what they wanted. Some spelled danger for the fledgling Jensaarai order. Others could prove quite prosperous to them. Without knowing who this newcomer was, it was damn near impossible to make a decent opinion Our Order is young and barely forming... Exposing our existence too early on could be disastrous. Especially with how little we know of whoever this Kirruk Actual fellow is... Not to sound cliche, but we would be wise to learn from the mistakes of our predecessors. Let him pass by... Or tell him that we are the last of the Jedi here...

Nodding at the wisdom of the man he did his best to place his finger into his ear to cue his reply. It was difficult because of the suit but he made due.
Let him pass Unity. There are no more Jedi here.
Looking around the archives Zed was surprised to see how well it had survived the intervening years. There was some damage to be sure, some of it looking newer than the rest. Apparently they had not been the only ones to search out knowledge at the lost temple. Even still the freshest damage was still years old.
Some of the databanks were black, no doubt dead with others blinking barely active. He was not sure where the power was coming from but it was enough to hold the reduced and damaged archives in place. Scattered around the floor was paper, something he hadn't seen in more years than he could count. It seemed that some of the older records, scrolls and what not had been left behind and now the planet was slowly reclaiming them. The clearing of the temple outside had only spread so far. Things of importance had been taken but other stuff had been overlooked completely. This was good for Zed and the rest of the Jensaarai who would need to glean information regarding a proper place to settle, Yavin would have worked had it been not so high profile in previous years.
You are right, I fear that may have been Garwigs mistake. Although there were dozens of us we became known to the public eye and the Mandalorians came for us around the same time they came here. Even now someone may be looking, having heard my message on the holonet back on Geonosis.
Pulling up a seat at one of the datascreens Zed looked around for something to use to direct the screen before realizing it was a motion sensor. Sifting through data absent minded he wondered what it was they could find here without any sort of rumour to go on.

Ned took a few more steps into the Archives as Zed relayed the orders up into Orbit. Perhaps there was a great opportunity to be had with the unknown caller. But today was not yet their time to take hold of it. The Jensaarai were wanderers right now. Without a home or base of operations to call their own. Garwig had been lucky, with the Empire he served having provisioned him with everything the Jensaarai of his time needed.
The galaxy was a much different place now. It was fractured between the First Order and the Governments that resisted it, plus what ever sat hidden amongst the stars.
In years past, the Yavin Temple would have stood against the tyranny of the new Empire. But like the Jensaarai, it had felt the touch of the Mandalorian Crusades. From there, tragedy after tragedy had befallen this ancient academy. He stooped down and collected a pile of tattered scrolls and pages into his hand. Regarding the remaining evidence that the Jedi had once called this place home. He tipped the dust from his hand and rose up, turning his gaze back to Zed Garwig came from a much different time and place... He was a victim of circumstance more so than poor planning... And if there are those looking for us that heard your message, we will take them on as the situation dictates. We will survive and restore the Jensaarai... He walked along the line of databanks and shelves that sat empty, cleared by the Jedi Order before they rather publicly denounced this Temple. He came to a stop in front of the vault door, placing his hands on his hips as he regarded it. If there was anything to be recovered here for the Jensaarai, it was going to be inside of the vault.
The Jensaarai had once joined Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order, training with them for many years. It was entirely possible that they hid holocrons here that might lead them to a new home that went undiscovered by the Jedi. The only way to know for sure, was to crack it open and see what was inside.
He reached out his right hand toward the door then. Closing his eyes as he opened himself up to the Force. Probing the door to look for some ind of locking mechanism or weak point that they might be able to exploit. He opened his eyes a few moments later, turning toward Zed as he sensed the presence of someone else within the Temple. Someone that was not one of the Jensaarai Zed... I think we have a guest...

Starting with the most obvious entry of Jensaarai Zed entered it into the query and it came back empty. Curious he entered Jedi, being there temple it should come up with plenty of information on them. Instead there was one result. The temple had been purged of any and all relevant information to the Jedi by the last one to visit the temple Aerandir Calmcacil. Everything after that had been recorded, topographical information, bird migrations, the odd interloper from groups hidden deep in the Jungle. Oddly enough there was still a small bead of information coming in from a vault within the nearby vault. Before Zed could pursue that further he looked back towards Ned.
Having immersed himself in the force energies that swirled around the temple Zed had taken little heed to where the individual sources of the Force had been coming from. He had experience in not tapping into the Force exuded by his fellow Jensaarai, and had ignored them. Everything else was still fair game. He had been enjoying the feeling of not holding back. It was akin to a person getting a drink of water in the desert, and when Ned had spoken of another sentient it took him back some.
You sure it isn't one of us?
Sensing it now too, there was no denying that it wasn't a member of the Jensaarai. Who, or what would want to call this irradiated temple home? Wishing he had completed his armour already or even had a weapon beyond the Force he stood from the terminal and reached out into the force to see what he could glean from this person.

The presence the two Jensaarai felt would have bloomed in The Force momentarily. A sensation of peace and relaxation emanated from the individual for a brief second, before it pushed outwards reacting to the probes of the Jensaarai, like a set of tendrils reaching out..
As quickly as the bloom appeared, it would appear to vanish, along with the presence. As if the being just vanished into thin air..

While he was not intimately familiar with every presence within the Jensaarai ranks, he knew their alignment well enough. This new comer seemed very attached with the Lightside of the Force, more so than any one else within their ranks. Were it not for that fact, Edward would not have caught on to whoever was sneaking around within the Temple Oh, I'm fairly sure... It's too light to be one of us... Maybe an old Jedi come home? He turned toward the entrance of the Archives then as the presence seemed to vanish into thin air. Causing him to stop for a moment and wonder if the presence had been there in the first place. Surely it had been, and this was merely the work of someone skilled enough to hide their presence once discovered You felt that too right?

More like I dont feel it.
Now that he felt the presence Zed was able to track the path the person had taken. It was faint, kind of like following the scent of cooking food. The closer he got to where it started the stronger it was. Tracing it back through the hallways of the temple, by where they landed and outside the temple it seemed to stop there. At some sort of tree with a bunch of simian like beings. Beyond that there was nothing. Like it had not left that tree ever.
Why cant things be easy? This temple was abandoned and looking at the records it had been for some time. They had been the first visitors to the temple in a number of years, and seemingly by chance there is someone else here. Pushing up from his seat Zed gabbed a number of small stones from the table and discarded the larger ones their clanging on the ground echoing through the archives.
If there are any secrets hiding in this temple they can wait a little longer. You are probably right maybe we should check this out, they might know something about this place we dont.

Edward walked back across the room to stand by Zed, as his friend collected a handful of rocks. Either his friend had something for radioactive rocks, or Zed was planning some other use for them. Either as projectiles or to scatter as a warning in case this new arrival was cloaked. While he did not exactly relish the thought of running blindly around the Praxeum. He suspected it was better safe than sorry that they did so, if for no other reason than to be sure they were all safe If they're still here and willing to work with us... Lead the way...

After a short time of walking through the ruined temple, Zuli, Ned and Zed drew close to the Archives. Zuli found the large crater, and launched himself through the air. He crossed the gap with ease, landing with a gentle thud on the other side..
Zuli looked back momentarily to check on his new companions, before continuing into the Archives. The once immaculate room now stood wrecked. It was such a sorry state, a pale shadow of its former self..
Zuli could see that one of the terminals had been activated, most likely turned on by Ned or Zed. However it was running on low power, this wasn't going to be an issue. As Zuli began to cross the room, the HUD on his suit began to give relay various bits of information to him. The inbuilt sensors picked up the spike in radiation. Not that it was going to be an issue in the short term, but it was something Zuli would have to monitor..
Zuli got to the terminal and sat down in the damaged chair, causing it to groan under his immense weight. Zuli looked down to the side of the terminal by his right leg, running his hand along the surface, he found a port and gently wiped the years of soot and dirt from it. Zuli then pulled a power cable from his wristcomp and plugged it into the port. His armour acknowledging the connection, the once dimly lit screen glowed brightly..
Zuli began to tap away on the keyboard, and the system still recognised his senior level clearance. He called out to Zed and Ned..
"I have access, I'm not sure how much of the database remains.." The armoured Jedi Titan leant back in the chair, eyes scanning through the corrupted datafiles for any shred of information.. "Is there anything specific that you need in a homeworld?"

Following the Jedi into the archives Zed stood by watching as the immense Jedi worked his magic. Impressed with the ease with which he worked he almost missed the question about planetary requirements.
Isolation is best for us at the moment. The further away from the First Order the better, I don't want to deal with any conflict. The Order has always survived but I fear that the Delvaradus Empire will not rest until the entire galaxy and every force user is under its thumb or destroyed.
Ideally Zed would return to Contruum to the Jensaarai temple there. One day once the order was built back up it was possible but not now. Not if they wanted to survive.
Anything away from the Northern and Western areas of the galaxy. Preferably somewhere that has a strong connection to the force, be it the darkside or the light.
Grabbing one of the chairs that had been haphazardly thrown about he sat down opposite of Zuli.
What are the chances the database would have any information on Jensaarai Holocrons or teaching?

Zuli thumbed in a few commands, attempting to narrow the search parameters. A galaxy map flickered onto the monitor before the display flickered and died. The Jedi Titan rolled his forearm so that the wristcomp display was visible, and diverted more power from the suit to the system. It was an attempt to revive the display..
---------
Nothing.. The Jedi Master pulled his left hand away and clapped it roughly on the side of the console. The monitor burst back to life, displaying the galaxy map once again. A number of worlds were now highlighted in red, scattered across the Northern and Western areas of the map. As each of the criteria were applied to the search parameters, the number of red worlds lessened until around 10 or so remained..
Zuli released an audible deep inhalation and sigh through his suit's vocaliser..
"These few are the only surveyed worlds which match your criteria.. Remote, habitable.. A few are not colonised by others, or they were not at the time of survey.."
Zuli was still unsure of how long he had been lost in The Force..
"And fewer still are known to have a deep rooted connection to The Force. They were all surveyed in the hopes of finding new locations for training facilities.."
Zuli turned his attention to the final part of Zed's enquiries. Jensaarai Holocrons..
Zuli's HUD flashed a warning, the power drain was sending the suit's battery to critical..
3% power remaining. Attach new powercell..
The Jedi Tian ignored the warning. A minute twitch of his facial muscles dismissed the warning and he pressed onwards..
Zuli spent a few minutes sesrching. He scanned through the corrupted data. Most of the hits for 'Jensaarai' so far turned up empty files, where the data storage had been removed and the core purged during the evacuation. A few taps on his wristcomp, enacting his top level clearance, the system revealed a few duplicates files had remained. He looked deeper, it appeared that he had found historic files regarding the Jensaarai. It's founding, philosophical notes, teaching points. These were things Zuli himself had read over and studied in the past, and were generally kept for senior members of the Yavin Praxeum. Nothing restricted or controversial, but it would prove useful to those studying the ways of the Jensaarai. Zuli pulled the information and copied it onto a data chip, which then popped out the side of his wristcomp..
"It's not much.. But you're welcome to look over it. So much more has been removed from the Archives, or damaged beyond recovery.."
Zuli's armoured suit's power finally gave out, causing the Jedi Master to reach to his lower back, ejecting the powercore and discarding it on the floor. He slipped a second core into the socket and resealed it. Zuli then disconnected from the terminal, before he pulled the data chip free and held it out towards Zed..

Ned had followed closely behind Zed and Zuli as they made their way back through the ruins to the Archives. It was back here, that Zuli managed quite the feat. Using his armour suits own power to bring the system back to life long enough to collect what little data remained within the recesses of the Temples Archives. And from what he could observe, there was not much data left within the systems themselves. For now, an outdated galactic map and a few scraps of information the old Jedi Order had on the Jensaarai would have to be enough of a victory for him today We came here with nothing, and we will be leaving with something... That, in itself, is enough... That said, would you like to see if we can't crack that vault open, just to see if there is anything remaining within? Ned set his focus upon the old holocron vault. Wondering if perhaps they might be able to manually force it open, or Zuli may know of some manual override that might help in such an endeavor If not, then we shall leave it alone... I just have one request, for if you ever find the Jedi Order. Make sure my daughter got out of here alive... Her name... was Elizabeth. Will you do this for me, Master Jedi?
