Master Calmcacil. came the gravelly voice from the speakers as the hologram kicked in, showing the gargoyle of a Zabrak, arms folded into the sleeves of his cloak and sounding far more jovial than he had at their first meeting.
I merely wished to inform you that our scouting trip to Korriban was successful, and there is nothing there to report. The Sith homeworld is empty. No casualties, naturally.
Though usually stoic to an alienating degree, there was no denying an undercurrent of grim glee to his voice. For someone that was bent on purging the galaxy of the dark side's followers, the Zabrak seemed much too emotional about an empty outpost, homeworld of the Sith or not.
The Emerald Blades have been dismissed, and as of now my ship - your ship, excuse me - is en route to Hapes. I think that the Hapan rulers will be amenable to aiding our cause once I bring it to them. A planet under the heel of Sith for so long will doubtlessly be overjoyed at the chance to strike back.

*And there was Master Iorek, much to Aerandir's relief. He seemed in good spirits as he relayed the information that their scouting trip to Korriban was successful, and there were no casualties. Aerandir's brows knit; Korriban? The Zabrak went on to explain that they were on their way to Hapes to appeal to them for aid, and Aerandir nodded before responding,* "Very good. However, and don't mistake this for displeasure, but I was under the impression you intended to first scout Thule?"

I had, yes, Rutil said with a slow nod, understanding the Master's confusion, but Korriban was not too far out of our way. In my travels as of late I've heard much talk of Thule, but none of Korriban; people tend to talk about a place if something's happening there.
The Zabrak offered no further comment.

*Aerandir considered the reasoning, then, as if second-guessing himself, pulled out his datapad and a galaxy map once more. Thule and Korriban were indeed close together, in the same sector even.* "Fair," *he said at last, looking up.* "What'd you find?"

Little more than dust.
For such a basic report, the Zabrak was rather pleased to report the news. Perhaps it was good to see the Sith homeworld abandoned by their enemies? Even with the hint of a smile playing at his lips, Rutil's expression was still far too stoic to glean much from.
I'll keep you in the loop, Master Calmcacil. Iorek out.

*The basic report seemed to carry more meaning than what was voiced aloud by the Zabrak. His expression seemed the faintest pleased... The foreboding feeling from earlier crept into his mind once more as Master Iorek signed out. His fellow Jedi must have seized the opportunity to do... something to the world. And the Sith certainly weren't going to be very happy about it, Aerandir knew that much. This was certainly the beginning of something bigger, he could tell, and they would all have to be prepared.
As he began to leave the council chambers, his datapad beeped with a message. He answered it, only to be told by a member of control that a Jedi from Ossus was here looking to meet with a master. Ossus... Aerandir hadn't heard much from that world in some time. He nodded, replying,* "Thanks, I'm on my way. And uh... let's just be prepared for things. Got it?" *It was a vague statement, but one the gist of which the officer seemed to understand as he acknowledged the message and cut recording. Aerandir put away the datapad and left the chambers...*

*Aerandir led Jedi Ozuna to the council chambers, and he wondered if he would get enough time out of his day away from this room. When the two were inside and the door was shut, Aerandir stepped toward the ring of seats before turning to the young Jedi, raising an eyebrow.* "What is it that you need to speak with me about?"

A few days after the battle at Hyber Canyon, a transmission would come in from Jabiim. The channel's credentials mentioned that it was from the office of the First Minister of Jabiim, Kader Stratus, brother of Crix III, Jedi Lord of Jabiim. Once the transmission was accessed, the image of a middle-aged male dressed in white clothing, styled as a diplomat, would appear. He had blue eyes and brown hair with a slightly receding hairline. Kader would bow before whoever accessed this channel.
Jedi of the Felucian Conclave, my name is Kader of the House Stratus, First Minister of Jabiim and Voice of Jedi Lord, Crix III, my brother. I wish to speak with the leaders of the conclave on a matter of diplomatic urgency involving my planet's current civil situation. I hope I have come to the right ears.

***Inside the council chambers, stood a lone Falleen Jedi Master. Meditating with his eyes closed, facing the open windows overlooking the landscape of the lush and dense flora of the planet. The ambiance was that of the green crystals inside the chamber. It had a soothing affect upon the Falleen which aided in amplifying his own inner-serenity. Making him a beacon of light and peace. Unusual, given the turbulence of the life and energy, considering the planet. But that, was Master Rzirress. He was, after all, a Baran Do Sage. As a matter of fact, most of his colleagues referred to him as Sage and not Master Rzirress. He was usually a profound source of wisdom, when it wasn't buried under a mountain of smug hubris. ***
***He stood there, statue-like. Arms behind his back. Focusing on the ebb and flow of the Force. Being on Felucia, it was hypnotic and swirling. Easy to get lost in it, for those who don't know how to harness and concentrate. To flow within it. Lest you be dragged off in it's undertow. The pulsating and undulating call. He had other things he was here to do. Something hid itself, and he had to find the truth of it. Something in one of his visions. Something he had to discuss with Master Calmcacil. Something about Kashyyyk.***

Master Titus seemed to stalk his way into the Council Chambers, a side effect of being a Chistori, garbed in his usual battle armour that was reminiscent of an ancient civilization that had long ago died out. He wasted little time taking a seat as he admired the architecture of his Felucian brethren, which understandably differed somewhat from the architecture of the Temple of the Saurian Jedi Order from whence he hailed. It was only a couple of days ago that Master Calmcacil had reached out and asked for aide in an upcoming operation, and he had been more than happy to oblige his services for a common cause

*Of those gathered and soon to gather in the council chambers, Aerandir Calmcacil was the least remarkable. He stood in the center of the council chambers, garbed in white adventure robes, hands folded behind his back. He acknowledged the others present, remaining mostly in silence as he awaited those who had answered his call; Felucia was just one base, and his men were only one unit. If Master Iorek's plan was to strike at as many Sith-controlled strongholds as possible, they would need as many hands as possible, without leaving key Jedi strongholds under-defended. Of course, others would join in, but could not make it to this initial gathering. That was fine, they could very well work with what they were given, and the more that gathered to the cause, the better...*

...but more than enough had shown up for one Jedi's purposes.
"Masters," Rutil Iorek said, his gravelly voice a force unto itself, "I'm glad to see you've all arrived safely. Gather 'round."
Iorek was a tall man, standing a good head taller than what most humanoid species would have considered tall, his wrinkled and horned head sitting atop broad shoulders. Burnt orange cloth draped over his hardened leathery body in the traditional Jedi fashion, the sleeves of which were cut short at the elbow. Stepping into the center of the council chamber, the Zabrak's scarred arms crossed behind him, and he stood tall and straight as he addressed the assembled Jedi.
"For those among you that don't know me, I'm Master Iorek, and it was at my behest that Master Calmcacil was kind enough to summon you all here. By now, you're all aware of my actions on Korriban. Which means that, by now, you must be aware that the Sith - however little they may care for their homeworld - will be looking to retaliate. Sith are not known for being merciful or forgiving. Nor are they known to relent once they get the upper hand. It follows, then, that we have to maintain the initiative; keep building the momentum that has been built in our favor. And to do that, we need to strike hard. We need to strike fast. And we need to strike immediately.
"Thus, my proposition is simple. We purge Kashyyyk of its Sith infestation."

*And there was the Zabrak now. Aerandir unfolded his arms and surrendered the center of the floor to the Master, himself moving toward the edge of the circle of seats. As Master Iorek addressed the other Jedi present, Aerandir glanced around the room; he had been expecting at least one other, but they hadn't arrived yet...
Extending his senses into the hall, he felt their presence approaching. Midway through Master Iorek's speech, a door was pushed open, heralding the arrival of a young girl, about twelve years of age, with shoulder-length blond hair. Seeing that another was speaking, she quietly closed the door behind her and approached the group, standing beside Aerandir and looking up to him, addressing him quietly.* "Sorry I'm late, the instructor went very wordy," *she explained.
Aerandir smiled at his sister and nodded to acknowledge her explanation, then remained quiet. Michelle had caught wind of this whole mission, of course, and had made it known she intended to join in, knowing full well her brother wouldn't protest.
And he hadn't.
She had been told everything of course, of the initial meeting with the Zabrak Rutil Iorek, of his goals, and of his sacking of Korriban. Admittedly, she had found that bit of news exciting; she knew she shouldn't have delighted in others' pain, but the Sith's precious homeland had been laid waste to. What wasn't to enjoy about that? But there were going to be more stops along the way, and she had wanted to be a part of striking against the Sith at large in the galaxy.
Starting with the Sith of Kashyyyk it seemed... Now that was a target Aerandir had some familiarity with. Less them and more of a splinter faction, the Order of the Black Star... they were filth, and had some truly putrid practices that they credited to the Kashyyyk Sith Order. The Black Star had long since fallen, thank the Force, and now they had a chance to remove its parent faction for good... Aerandir knew of the leader of the faction and his infamous reputation. It was time to put them to an end.*
"My apprentice Michelle and I are ready to leave, to put an end to this particularly distasteful faction," *he declared, placing a hand on his sister's shoulder.* "A group of my men are already waiting to head out, and, if there are no objections," *he scanned the other Jedi present questioningly,* "then I say we make all haste."

The moment the Zabrak had entered the Council Chambers, Titus had turned his attention to the man, already quite aware of who Rutil Iorek was, due only to a matter of coincidence in which a fellow Jedi Master had been looking into the Koribban incident and had been reviewing Rutil's file whilst Titus had been visiting. He leaned back into his chair as the Zabrak introduced himself as Master Iorek, which was a curiosity to him, and a point he perhaps would have pressed, had he not been here merely as a guest of Master Calmcacil to aide in the fight against the Sith. Titus still wasn't quite so sure why Koribban had been such a great deal, since the planet had long been abandoned by the Sith since before even the clone wars, and even then, it had served as little more then a mausoleum for long dead Sith Lords.
If the reports he'd seen were correct, there'd been little more than dust and stone when Rutil and his men had arrived, and when they'd left, there was just more dust and less stone. Perhaps Kashyyyk was to be the Jedi's crowning achievement, with Koribban merely a warmup, and if that was the case, Master Titus fully intended to keep a close eye on the actions of his fellow Jedi Master, lest they accidentally end up base delta zeroing Kashyyyk, instead of saving it. Titus raised no objection when Master Calmcacil posed his question, merely rising from his seat and nodding to man and his apprentice You shall hear no objections from me, Master Calmcacil. I look forward to working alongside my allies in the main Jedi Order, and seeing how they deal with Sith. It should be an interesting learning experience to say the least... I shall meet you over Kashyyyk then. May the force be with us all. Taking his lead from Master Calmcacil's suggestion that they should make all haste, Master Titus gave a bow to his fellow Jedi, certain that any further details he would need regarding the attack would be forwarded to his datapad, before heading for the Temple's hangar bay where his ship was waiting for him

"Agreed," the Zabrak said as the Chistori made his exit, "I will compile a briefing and distribute it in-flight. Between all of us here, there should be enough manpower to affect an effective blockade of the planet, but I will need a full count of who's bringing what to this little cookout of ours. There's no need for a blue-on-blue here."
In truth, while Rutil was eager to begin the attack, the plans he had drawn up did not account for the various Jedi that had shown to their excruciatingly brief conclave, nor did they account for how many men and ships each Jedi led, if any. The Hapans had pledged support, but that meant little if they were the only significant presence in the skies above Kashyyyk, especially if that curious Master Varro was still at the head of the operation. Master Calmcacil would doubtlessly call in the Emerald Blades to do much of the heavy lifting on the ground, and if the need arose, then the gnarled gargoyle of a Jedi himself would brave the Shadowlands himself.
But that was if the need arose.

*Aerandir nodded in satisfaction at the positive response so far. He himself felt very compelled to carry out this mission; too long had the Wookiee population suffered under the heel of the dark side. The Wookiees were not pleased, despite the Sith-originated propaganda spread from the planet claiming otherwise.
It was time for that to end.
He started to turn toward the exit, Michelle following his example, though she had turned completely whereas Aerandir had stopped at an angle. He looked over his shoulder towards the Zabrak and said,* "Is there anything you need or need me for before I ready my men?"

***Rzirress waited patiently and said nothing. It concerned him greatly with these "attacks" upon the Sith. Stirring trouble instead of letting sleeping Akk Dogs lie, was never a good idea. Granted, the Sage had no overwhelming love for the Sith, he still had pity for them and hope. Hope that their respected hearts could change. Again, that would in all probability be statistically improbable, but there is always a chance. Always. No matter how small. But this was not the time for waxing philosophies and lofty ideals. A siege was only a few hours away. This made the Sage very uneasy. Once the talking is done and everyone starts heading out, the Falleen Sage walks over to Master Calmcacil. Hoping to be granted a brief audience.***
"Master Calmcacil. May I have a brief moment of your time, before we all take off?"
***It would not be hard to tell what was on the Falleen Sage's mind. Theirs was a duty to those less fortunate, but would the means justify the ends? That is exactly what the Sage needed to know, that and where MAster Calmcacil stood on this particular issue.***

*It was not the Zabrak, but the Falleen, the Sage known as Vixont Rzirress, who had something to ask of Aerandir. The human turned away from the door; Michelle, having realized they weren't leaving so quickly after all, turned as well, seeming the slightest bit anxious but also understanding.
Something about Sage Rzirress seemed uneasy, perhaps even apprehensive, but whatever it was it had seemed urgent enough to warrant asking for an audience before the departure. Nodding and folding his arms across his chest idly, Aerandir responded,* "Certainly, Sage Rzirress, what's on your mind?"

Rutil simply stepped back and let the Falleen conduct his business with Master Calmcacil. The Zabrak himself hadn't much to say; merely that he would be having Captain Marris and his crew accompany him once more as he spearheaded the operation from the space above Kashyyyk. By that point - either officially or not - Master Iorek would have the encryptions necessary to send secure broadcasts to the various starships that would doubtlessly be in orbit. His only worry was that there wouldn't be enough. The Hapans had pledged a smaller number than he would have expected, and while the broken-horned Zabrak hadn't wanted to assume, there were very few in the council chamber that seemed like they commanded anything more than a wild-eyed onlooker's attention. Rutil would have liked to secure a bit more for the war effort as well, but in the end he was at the behest of Master Calmcacil. And if he wanted things to move along, then things would do so.

***There was plenty on the Falleen's mind. But the present concerns needed to be addressed. There was something else. Something that was being overlooked by youthful eagerness. Something elusive and it nagged at him. So when Master Calmcacil and his young apprentice turn to address him, he bows politely to them both and places his palms on his forearms in a gesture of respect to both of them.***
"Forgive my abruptness Master. But I feel it necessary to state the obvious.....this haphazard call to arms may do more harm than good."
***The Falleen Sage clears his throat and cocks his left eyebrow with a discerning, be it with a touch of Falleen Hubris, look.***
"Do not misunderstand me. I harbor no love for the Sith, but I also harbor no ill will to the indigenous tribes that reside there."
***The Fallen Sage casts a quick glance over his shoulder then back just as quickly to Aerandir.***
"I fear if we are to liberate them, we would only be casting off the yoke of slavery to something worse. I do not know about you, but I do not feel I could bear the responsibility for allowing another form of oppression."
***The Sage looks to Michelle then back to Aerandir.***
"Plus I fear this is just a means to justify the ends for some of us, and I am greatly concerned for us all......but perhaps I am just over-stating my...anxieties?"
