-Z'har Well, that is certain not something that one gets to see everyday.
The large man pauses for a moment to consider his choice of words.
-Z'har Unless, of course, you count the staff here.
Another brief pause.
-Z'har And the regular patrons.

Lastdark Club (sunset) Jade contemplated her tall, muscular companion from where she was luxuriously leaned against the transparisteel and looking out into Coronet, exposing her profile for his viewing pleasure."That's quite a few caveats there, don't you think?" "However, I know exactly what you mean." It was all too easy to take something for granted when it was constantly present in one's life. This was one potential reason why she and Z'har had not lost the chemical spark that nearly always burned just beneath the surface whenever the two of them were together. She smiled thoughtfully. It always felt to her as if a more primal tension lurked between them, and she wondered if he felt the same.

Z'har remained silent, soaking up the new experience, as well as Jade's more familiar presence.
If it was a chemical spark, it would eventually fade & settle down into a new form. But perhaps they were more like waves passing through the galaxy. Every time they would cross, some parts of them would be silenced, while other parts soared to incredible heights that neither could reach alone. And then they would pass away from each other again, each mostly unchanged. But now, instead of passing on their own ways, they had merged, sweeping outward, forever locked into a self-sustaining feedback.

"Tell me what you're thinking?" a low voice asked next to him, "or will you make me pay for your thoughts?" the female Jedi inquired after a few moments of companionable silence. Well, relative silence, since there was plenty of background noise.
The musical group being hosted for the evening had taken center stage and swung into a rousing rendition of an old cantina favorite. The atmosphere was one of cozy cheer.

Someone waiting for her? Nala considered a moment, the Infirmary was running smoothly and there were no major cases residing within it. In case something happened, she could always be reached. So, in this case she did not really mind.
"Sightseeing in Coronet, fine. How long have you been here?"
She was working back to inquiring about the other woman's friend in the city in a roundabout way. Meanwhile, the two of them went over to a speeder, and Nala filled in the requisite forms before they headed down to the city, with herself piloting. Before she headed out, she left a message with Security to come after her if she did not check in within specific time intervals. Not that she thought it was necessary in this case particularly, but because there was no sense in taking a risk like that at this time.
Nala was silent a moment at the other woman's bold question. When she did answer it was in a quiet tone, though the twitchings of her lekku revealed more of her emotions.
"How can you ask that question. You know what our race is viewed to be---how we are viewed as subpar beings, fit only for slavery and pleasurehouses... the question is, how are you content to be a slave?" the last word was hissed in distaste, as her knuckles whitened on the speeder controls before visibly relaxing. They were on their way to the city and the corner Five had designated. To say the truth, Five didnt expect such a rash reaction from nala, but smiled at the woman warmly.-5- "Subpar and fit for pleasurehouses. If that is what you believe, that is what you will expect. We are all slaves, twilek or otherwise. Some have not accepted it yet. I have, and I dont feel subpar. I am not. None of my sisters are." She was half on her way to ask if Nala was content being a slave and not even knowing she was one, but she felt the woman might just throw her out of the speeding airspeeder if she did. Maybe an other time.-5- "Some feel jedi have lost their power and their calling. Some feel that jedi are just a legend, havent seen them with their eyes. Some say you are corporate knights. Some say you are wolfs in sheep clothing. Some say you are damn right evil with your mind tricks and lightsaberslashings. And some say you are guardian angels. Does it matter? This collar does the same as your lightsaber. A tool of the trade. You didnt answer my question though."

Local Bazaar - Coronet City "And what is your trade exactly, Five? What brings you here, to a Jedi Academy on Corellia? A world that has a long memory when it comes to something like what your collar symbolizes."
There was more going on than met the eye in what Five was saying. Nala realized this as she deftly whipped them around a corner into a busy street in a local bazaar.
"We are all servants of something or someone else, yes...but there are choices to be made. We can spend our lives doing good, or in advancing our own selfish goals."
She replied musingly, her left lekku tip tapping against her collarbone as she neatly slid the speeder into a parking slip so they could continue on foot.
"No, I didn't answer it at this time. Do you tell your story to everyone you have just met? Or a version of it?" Nala bit her tongue as the words slipped out. Something was eating at her, and she hadn't pinpointed it yet.

-5- "I am an ambassador. I bring the good wishes of my masters. Jedi may not be the strongest supporters of slavery, but think about the options. Mandalorians would want to turn the slaves to Mandalor. Bad for business. Sith would use slavery in cruel and profitable ways, but that would still turn slavery into something evil. Jedi? You guys havent cared for slavery much, so slavery could thrive and turn into what it is supposed to be. An institution.
And yes, I tell my story when I need to make a point. How about this one?"
They got to a shawl stand and 5 gad taken up a yellow shawl that seemed to match her skin tone. She was smiling, a happy woman at shopping smile, trying to look as well as she could. of course, the vendor and those looking on saw this with suspicious glances. Because of the collar.

Last Dark (Sunset)
-Z'har Not thinking much, just enjoying the view & the company.
This last was said as he shifted slightly to one side momentarily, bumping her lightly with his hip.

Lastdark Club (Sunset)
Ael smiled warmly at him, before backing away slowly with a beckoning look in her eyes, "Come dance with the company and enjoy the view up close then." She invited the tall Zabrak to the dance floor, enjoying the evening and more so appreciating the semi-vacation feel provided by getting away from the Academy for a few hours.
Street Bazaar (mid-afternoon)
The yellow suited the Twi'Lek to a degree that was almost invisible against her skin; however, it would serve its purpose. The statuesque green Healer thought about these things for a few minutes, absently running her hands over the various cloths displayed by the vendor whose wares they were currently browsing through.
"Who are your masters then?" she finally inquired as she picked up a deep blue shimmersilk scarf and running it experimentally through her fingers, before looking over at Five, clouds flickering through her stormy grey eyes.
"And how did you become a slave?" Was it a choice she had made? Or had she been sold? If pressed for an answer Nala supposed that there were some more benign forms of slavery that could ostensibly seem better than the lifestyles of the inhabitants of more inhospitable planets. But, she still couldn't bring herself to just approve of this.

Five paid the vendor and rolled the shawl around her neck. it was more like a scarf, witch was lucky because an entire shawl would have been a bit hot this time of the year. She then picked a white one and paid for that too. She reached the white one to Nala.
-5- "Yours. A donation to the Jedi Accademy. As a thank you for guarding me from Coronets dangers."
She said with a tone of comedic sarcasm.
-5- "My understanding with Jedi Master Ragnella was that I didnt have to enclose who my masters are. Of security reasons for them. But I assure you, no sith are involved. My masters hunt sith."
She took out her datapad from her purse and checked the map.
-5- "Two corners that way, the post office. Come on. If we are lucky, we can catch some fast food coronet speciality on the way."

Z'har let the much smaller female pull him out onto the dance floor. More than a few of the other patrons noticed the sheer size difference between the two dancers. It was rather enjoyable to dance like this, perhaps due to how little true physical contact he had had over the last forty years. There was a slight grin on his face as he whispered into her ear during the dance.
-Z'har I unfortunately don't have a flower for you tonight. Not that I would have been able to hide it without you noticing while I was getting dressed.

Lastdark Club (Sunset)
"No, no you couldn't have," Ael confirmed. His outfit, while not skin-tight of course, was definitely fitted and revealed his muscular build quite satisfactorily. She slid a bit closer in his arms, her left arm wrapped around his torso and her right hand placed on his left upper arm, as the height differential between the two of them precluded a more traditional position at the moment as they moved around the floor in synchronization with each other, deftly avoiding the other dancers.
She was not going to tell him her thoughts at the moment, as she was thinking that rose or not, it was quite something to be this close to him.
Street Bazaar (mid-afternoon)
Instinctively, Nalatua'lin accepted the white scarf as gift-giving was tradition for Twi'Leks. Though, she felt wrong-footed as she had not offered such to the other woman. Yet. However, Five's sarcasm was not lost upon her as they proceeded down the street.
"You may have noticed that I am not Master Raganella, and he has not informed us yet of your official presence within the Academy." Her lekku twitched as they moved around a fruit-seller toward a vendor with what looked like smoked nerf on kabobs. "And while you have to disclose nothing, I am at liberty to inquire as I have done. Hunting Sith, you say?" Nala looked sidelong at Five, wondering what exactly she was expecting at the post office and why it had been forwarded here away from the Academy. "As far as it goes, that is reassuring, unless they also hunt Jedi? As you know, the Mandalorians were indiscriminate in their recent Jihad," she clarified.

-Z'har Hmmm, perhaps I should work on my sleight of hand abilities then? You never know when you might need some nimble fingers.
It was left unsaid that his thoughts were very likely mirroring those of his date.

Five got a bit confused by Nalas anger. She paid for two kebabs giving one to Nala and bit her lip.
-5- "I am sorry... I dont really understand your hierarchy and how it works. I thought it... ok. I am sorry for my masters behavior. They like to... provoke people. Its annoying especially because I am not allowed to reviel who they are. They have strenght, but if they would anger a larger power, they could be squashed and exterminated. I dont really wish for that. I am allowed to help as much as I am given, and in time, maybe things will clear up. Right now, we have to build a little trust. On both sides. Its a hard job, but this is why they sent me, Five. Not Twelve, Thirty Six or Forty three. I sincerely apologise if I insulted you."
She maid a mild bow. Not mocking, nor sarcastic. A real apology.
-5- "They can be a bit... childish some times. Ah... look, here we are."
It was not a real governmental post office. it was a private companies shipping warehouse. 5 got in and pulled a number. When it was her turn she got up to the counter and gave them a reciept she got in the mail to the Academy. She got a large package, and a key card to a private cabin to open the box in. Five hinted for Nala to follow and they got in a little cabin with a lamp, a table and three chairs. Five sat down and opened the box. Shockingly, there was a similar smaller box inside. She pulled that one out and sat it aside. If Nala was alert, she could see the smaller box was already adressed to Zeltros. On the bottom of the large box was a large amount of cash, about fifty thousand credits, and a datapad.
-5- "I might think this is for you..."
She put the datapad down between them and started to check the database. There were a lot of text files, videos from Newscasts, pictures and holo-recordings. Nala could see that the large box came from Corulag, a republic world. 5 started to skim through the texts.
-5- "Looks like records for a weapons deal, list of people that would get weapons and... pictures of the weapons."
There was a picture of a warehouse filled with weapon crates.
-5- "Looks like it is going to be spread out amongst Imperial sympathisers and imperial troops. Here, news cast."
Futage of a demonstration that turned into a violent episode. Two demonstrating parties met in open field of amateur hand to hand combat and the Imperial troops present broke it up armoured but unarmed, saving peace. The News anchor seemed thankful for the imperial interference. It looked like the Republic hold on the world was weakening politically while the imperials were gaining favor. And the proof on the weapons deal did not lighten any fears.
-5- "Well... looks like I dont have to fully explain what I do, Jedi Master Nalatua'lin."

-A small, trundling transport shuttle sliced through the air above Coronet City before it landed in the city's bustling spaceport. The air was crisp and cool when the shuttle doors finally opened. Hesper Calix emerged carrying Tantin in her arms. She stroked his head gently, and attempted to revive the sickly Kushiban.-
=Hesper Calix= "We're here, Tantin. Wake up, the air smells nice."
-Hesper pulled him out to see the city before them. They couldn't see much of it from there except for the crested tops of buildings that loomed menacingly over the large partition that separated the spaceport from the rest of the city. Hesper didn't know where she was going, but allowed the Force to lead her to where she needed to be.-
=Hesper Calix= "The Force is strong here. Many Jedi came from this world and heroes to the Republic."

One minute he had been holding his nose to keep from smelling the other passengers, next he was awoken by Hesper telling him that they had landed. Where did the time go? How long ago had they landed? Tantin yawned, his mouth opening wide, and him stretching in Hesper's arms. He was able to catch tops of several tall buildings ahead. His eyes grew wide.
"Those are...t-tall..."
Tantin was already growing used to the alien worlds where he was the smallest thing around, but these buildings were intimidating. He had never seen such tall structures before. Even the tallest trees on Kushibah did not compare. Tantin's tried to shrink away a bit instinctively.

Lastdark Club (Sunset) The female Jedi smiled and deftly stepped under Z'har's raised arm into a twirl that showed off her dress nicely before bringing her back in close to him again. Even though she was enjoying herself, she had not forgotten other things, the foremost of which was her padawan. She'd agreed to continue the girl's training after the disappearance of her old master, a close friend of Jade's. But, there were times when she wondered if she had done the right thing. Her history with younger people was not a shining record of success, depending upon which side of the equation one was standing.
The flicker of uncertainty and more mingled with the happy, contented peace she felt around Z'har and was reflected in her eyes as she looked back up at him.Local Street Bazaar (Afternoon) "Apology accepted," Nala replied quietly, tchunn draped down her back while tchinn curled in front of her with the tip gently twitching against her jawline. The empathic green Twi'Lek Healer recognized the fact that Five was being sincere. Even if she didn't trust the other woman, she was fair enough to acknowledge that much.
She quickly assessed the feel of the situation around her before following Five into the post office. As the yellow Twi'Lek picked up her package and began sorting through the contents (some of which were clearly labeled 'Zeltros'), Nalatua'lin collected a few puzzle pieces as things began to make a bit more sense. Five's masters were strong, but walking a dangerous line in which they had lots of potential enemies. Five herself was out on the front line, and when things went south, she would undoubtedly be one of the first to pay the price.
Silently she crooked a finger, turning the datapad that Five had placed on the floor between them on telekinetically via the Force. As weapons lists, newscasts, etc from Corulag began scrolling past the pieces that Nala had started to gather slid neatly into place, though which puzzle they belonged to, she was not yet sure of. She did know that she didn't have all of the pieces to all of the puzzles yet though.
"You are an information broker...a spy," she telegraphed to the other Twi'Lek via a spasmodic series of lekku twitchings and tappings. The question was, what was she trading from within the Corellian Academy. Nala wanted more than anything to talk about this with Master Raganella--judging from Five's status of freedom within the complex itself he had determined that the gain outweighed the potential risk. But Nala was not going to forget that information and data flow was a two-way street involving trade.
"I see," she replied quietly.

She leaned close, and whispered in confidence.
-5- "Dont! Somebody might hear!"
Then she threw her head back and laughed out loud. Took her a moment to gather herself, it seemed like an inside joke. She put the datapad away.
-5- "The information I gave to Master Ragnella was free. This one will cost. The trade must be fair. You must give us something of value equal to what you have gotten. Information is only worth what you use it for, that is up to you and your skill. But I have payment in mind...
I am here on corellia because I am looking for someone. A woman, most likely working in the media and twirls around in art circles. She was an old master of mine on anobis, an artist. I want the jedis help in finding her, and I wish to exact justice myself. That is my price. If you deem the information worthy, the deal is done. If not, you will have to find something that will make the trade fair."
She put the box labeled "Zeltros" off the table, and waited for the jedi to answer.

LastDark (somewhat after sunset)
After dancing a while longer, Z'har led the way back to the massive windows. While the sun had already set, the lights of the city itself had come on by this point, Scattered out below them like a technological mirror of the sky above.
-Z'har A beautiful sunset by all accounts. Did you have any other plans or surprises for me tonight? Or did you plan to just stay here & have us watch the sun rise again in the morning?

The spaceport was teaming with life, partisans going about their day. Most of them worked here, some were traveling off planet. Sabo weaved his way through the crowd inside, flanked by the Captain. Jedi were common here, so many paid Sabo no attention, and the Captain had chosen attire that wouldn't cause a stir. The two blended in the best they could.
Once outside, Sabo paused for a moment, taking in his surroundings. Coronet City was an impressive size, used to be the only way one could get around was the old tram system, but taxis and rental speeders now were common to cities this size. He lets his force presences expand outward, searching for any sign of the Jedi temple he knew must be near, but after a short passage of time, it became clear that he would require further assistance from the citizens of Coronet Ciy.
