*Knight Darkwater seemed confident in his abilities, claiming them as the skills that made him a Jedi Knight. Bix nodded as he explained this, then nodded again at the mention of Master Mike Frantz; Bix did in fact know the Jedi, but by little more than name and appearance. Aerandir had met him multiple times and had spoken of him of Bix on occasion, but all Bix really knew was that the man was a talented duelist and a respected Master of the Corellian Academy. ... and also apparently a connossieur of alcohol and therefore accident-prone.
Bix uncurled his crunched eyebrows and shook his head to himself, listening as Knight Darkwater explained he'd "debuted" as a healer at Yavin IV. The mention of the moon made the corner of Bix's mouth twinge faintly; the senseless attack had left quite a mark there, and as Bix understood it the Temple was still undergoing healing. It was in much better shape now, last he heard, but unless he was misunderstanding, restoration had not yet completely finished.
As far as the Cerean being the only healer at the time... Bix found that hard to believe. Yavin had been a well-established and prestigious faction, so if they were lacking in healers, there must have been some problem. Likely caused by the war... Bix shook his head again, just glad to be rid of the war, and leaned forward.* I— *He was interrupted, looking down as his datapad beeped with a new message.* Excuse me. *The message was from Aerandir, letting him know he was on his way. Bix tapped back a quick response then looked back up at the Cerean.* Aerand— er, Master Calmcacil's on his way. *Bix wondered why he corrected himself... Aerandir was usually adamant that he be referred to by his first name, and Bix always did when speaking to the man, but when referring to him in the third person he kept it formal... Bix kept himself from shaking his head again. Unimportant right now.*

Raimundo was glad in the sudden interruption, not wanting to focus on the sorrow and pain of the past. It seemed that Master Calmcacil was on his way, and would be soon be back to the Felucian conclave. "Excellent news!" The Jedi Knight smiled, I appreciate your hospitality, Mr. Bix." The Cerean stood up as he bowed his head low, "If you don't mind, I'd like to retire to your guest quarters for a quick refresher before Master Calmcacil arrives."
Raimundo caught a small whiff of his own scent. Kriff he needed some deodorant. Space travel took a lot out of a man.

*Bix smiled and gave a nod when he was thanked for his hospitality, then he stood as the Cerean stood, requesting a stop at the guest quarters so he could freshen up. Nodding, Bix first showed the man where he could put his utensils and dishes, then led him from the dining area to the residential area...*

Raimundo grabbed his dishes and walked over to the place intended for their disposal, with guidance from Bix. He then turned around and waved his hand ahead of him, offering Bix to take the lead in showing him to his guest quarters.

Kobi scurried into the Dining Area, his cloak billowing out like a cape with his hurried speed. Hide - and - seek, to him one of, in not, the greatest games in the universe. It was here that he'd chosen for his hiding place, hoping that he would be able to blend in with others naturally here. It wouldn't be long before Faun would coming looking for him and he knew this.
He let out a giggle and pulled himself onto a seat at a table about the center of the room, his feet dangling below once he was able to situate himself more properly. "Now act naturally," he thought to himself as he looked first to the man on his left then to the woman on his right. The man was a Natulan, well into his midlife for his species; his skin was of a yellow hue. The woman was of the Zabrak race, though of which lineage he could not distinguish. Smiling to them both, he sank down into his seat and waited to see if Faun would come looking anytime soon or if she was heading toward other areas first.

Faun was not prone to anger, which was why she was not angry, but instead flustered and in a bit of a huff, similar to her breathing. She'd managed to locate the other boy and the Kushiban, but that left Kobi. She'd checked the obvious locations, only to not find him. And she was getting really tempted to use the Force because she was tired of this... But even if she did, she wasn't sure if she would even be able to recognize his signature from such a short amount of time exposed to it in the gardens.
Finally, when she did stumble into the dining area, it didn't take long for her to locate him: She recognized that cloak of his at least, even if he was trying to hide, it still stood out like a Hutt in a... well, anywhere. But he was sitting between two people... Did he know them? Well, he clearly wasn't eating, but instead of approach them and unload on him then and there, she simply beckoned for him to come over to her, then put her fists on her hips, tapping her foot impatiently, her expression proving she was really disgruntled.

The Cerean Jedi Knight walked casually into the dining room and eagerly stepped in line for the buffet. His mouth was watering as the mixture of pleasant aromas wafted their way into his nose, teasing him like a child at a candy shop. He found himself licking his lips as his eyes scanned over the numerous delicacies. Let's eat already!*
*He grasped a plate at the beginning of the line and piled it high with different cuts of tender, juicy meats, fruits of exquisite color and take, a couple of vegetables and a little bit too much bread. Speedily, he made his way to the closet table and sat himself at the end of it. He sat by himself for the sole purpose that he could stuff his face with his food without people judging him and seeing him as a pig... God he was hungry. Can we eat now?*
* He lifted his fork and knife and nearly dove into his plate, attacking his food with the ferocity of a redcrested cougar.

"Aw, man," Kobi didn't mean to utter the words of disappointment aloud. Especially while seated next to the two adults there eating that he clearly did not know. He looked at the Zabrak woman and when she looked back, he blushed a bright red, almost as if she had dusted him with some kind of female "beautifier" product, before he slid from the stool and snaked his way over to Faun, weaving through the crowd of people taking their seats after having gotten their grub to chow down on.
Smiling at Faun as he reached her, he nodded his head as if accepting that he'd been beaten at his own game. She was good at this even if it had taken her a good while to find out where he had gone to hide. After all, the Felucian Jedi Base was quite the colossal construct. "Well . . ." he said, "Looks like you found me! That mean you found the others too?! Where were they?!"

The foot tapped harder every second, her fists practically burying into her hips as she waited with full disgruntlement on display as Kobi approached him. He didn't seem too remorseful about the cruel trick, instead acknowledging that she'd found him and asking where the others had hidden. She stopped tapping her foot and shook her head, scowling as hard as she could before replying, "Not as far away as you were! That was mean!" She stamped her foot, then continued, "You didn't even ask me before saying you guys could hide anywhere! It's way too big!"

"But you found me!" Kobi's response was somewhat defensive now, and carried with it a slight sense of frustration at what he perceived to be endless complaining from the girl he'd only recently met and invited to play with him. To him, Faunn came across as something of a "negative Nancy" and that was something he cared little for. Instead he enjoyed more of a positive outlook.
He pushed away the feelings, calming any nerves that may have risen in the brief moment of frustration he'd experienced. "Using the whole big base let you really use your . . ." He paused a moment as he searched his mind for the word to fill in the blank he'd just made. What was it? How do you say it? Wait! Oh yeah, that's it!! " . . . Senses! You should feel good! You found us all in this big place!"

Kobi's only defense was that Faun had found them. So what?! They'd pushed this handicap on her without her consent, regardless of if she actually accomplished the goal! Kobi had more to say, this time attempted praise. That she'd really used her "senses," that she should feel good that they found them all "in this big place." She didn't want that to work, she didn't want him to have it way, especially because she didn't really use her senses at all—if he meant her Force senses that was.
As she fought to maintain her composure and standpoint, her cheeks started to turn a little red. Even so, she attempted to reason, "Even if I did, you didn't give me a choice!" But it did feel good to be praised... But she'd never admit that! Not to him anyway...

*Raine entered the dining area and glanced around almost hesitantly. There were only a few beings in the room. Either she was early or just missed the bulk of the morning rush. Moving forward she headed for the counter. Grabbing only a small amount of food, she headed for a corner table, one from which she could watch her surroundings. She sat down and began to eat, now just realizing how hungry she was since she forgot to eat the day before. The tips of her scuffed up combat boots barely scrapped the floor as she swung her legs forward and back. She was glad she got new robes, she didn't stand out as much, that was a good thing. The feeling of anxiousness was almost gone also, she was still kinda nervous, but not nearly as much as the day before. That was even better. Now she just needed to figure out was where she had to go. She did know one thing, she had to find Tom. He was the one teaching her after all.*

Good morning! I trust you slept well. *The voice came from behind Raine, belonging to Tom. He was holding an empty plate in his hand, grease, stains, and a used napkin the only sign it ever had food upon it. He smiled down at her, having been seated not too far away. Fortunate too, or else he probably would have been spotted attempting to make his approach; he was fond of sneaking up on the unsuspecting, of any age. Even if the target was not surprised by the act, it was still amusing to him.*

*Raine gave a slight jump at the sound of Tom's voice. She mentally scolded herself for not paying more attention.* "I slept well, for the most part anyway. I had a lot of dreams about my parents though."

Indeed? *The question was accompanied by raised eyebrows. He'd recalled her mentioning she'd watched them die, but she hadn't spoken much about them otherwise. He was very curious about her parents, or at least what she knew of them, and what kind of dreams she may have been having. Not that he would pry if she chose not to share. Gesturing toward the table with his empty plate, he added another question.* Mind if I join you?

*Raine gave a nod when Tom asked if he could sit her. She wasn't going to say no, he was training her after all.* "My dad was from Mandalore, and my mom was from Corellia. I was born on Mandalore, even though we weren't there very often. My dad still taught me in the ways of my ancestors, how to fight, how to fire a blaster rifle, even how to properly put on beskar'gam. He believed I would need to know how one day. Guess he was right."

*When invited to sit down, Tom slid into the booth opposite Raine, setting his plate down on the table beside him. He propped his elbows on the table and rested his chin on his interlocked fingers as Raine told him about her parents. Of particular interest was the fact that one of them was a Mandalorian, who'd even taught her many of the things all Mandalorian children learned. Perhaps these abilities were what aided her in surviving on the streets as an orphan, then.* Impressive. *His elbows spread as he let his hands lay flat upon the table and sat up a little.* I don't suppose you retain any keepsakes of that culture? *He intended to revisit the subject of her dreams in a moment, but for now he was content to partake in idle conversation and learn more about his new student.*

*Raine shook her head when Tom asked if she had any keepsakes from her culture.* "Not really. Just some gauntlets that my dad helped me make from a set of broken armor. Their made from beskar, so their supper durable. then there's the necklace that I got from my mom." *She pulled a necklace out from under her shirt. It was metallic in color, with a gear in the center and blade shaped wings fanning out from wither side.* "Other then that, I just have memories of them."

*Beskar gauntlets? Tom raised his eyebrows curiously. Those could be particularly useful for defense and other fighting techniques... Next was the necklace, with a curious little emblem attached to it. Tom studied it a moment, unable to link it to any known symbol he was familiar with.* What does the winged gear mean?

*Raine thought for a moment about Toms question.* "I really don't know. My mom was a mechanic and a pilot. She got the necklace from my grandpa, he was also a pilot. He fought during the clone wars. Maybe he got it from his squadron." *Raine scanned the necklace over for a few seconds before speaking again.* "My mom never really spoke of Corellia, or much about her parents. She always seemed sad when she did."
