"I do."
The Sith were still out there. Hidden, perhaps, but the darkness in the galaxy hadn't simply up and vanished because Rutil and his coalition had driven one single Sith faction into oblivion. The threat they presented was every bit as dangerous as it had been before Kashyyyk, if not more so; the Jedi had driven them into the shadows, but the shadows were where a Sith worked best. They couldn't simply wipe the dust from their hands and call it a day. They couldn't sit idly by until the counterattack. For the time being, the Jedi still had the initiative, and for all Rutil knew they might not get it again. All they had to do was find the bastards, which, unfortunately, was much easier said than done. The Zabrak Jedi had done it long enough to know.
The Empire wasn't as grave a concern; the last Rutil himself had heard, it had been dissolved, its worlds divided along unknown lines. But that was a political fight at its core, and Rutil had as much place in a political arena as he did in this glorified daycare of a military installation.
"I'm not going to pitch it to you, Taralorn. The Sith are still out there. And from what I've seen, our order doesn't seem especially equipped to handle them as needed. They're going to appear again, and when they do, I'm going to be on the first ship out to face them.
"More than anything, I need to know if you can say the same."

There was so much to consider yet, and so much in the darkness that they didn't know about. Would he be like Rutil and just get going? Or would he hold back a moment and look things over? Prepare a little? Surprise wasn't an element that favoured only those who were bold, but they whom they would hunt too. Finally casting the concern aside, he reminded himself that he needed to learn to trust the Adhartim Jedi as well. So after a brief pause to think it over and process Rutil's words, he said only one word: “Yes.”

-Nartaga- "I have been told that Jedi have a way of sealing away information in objects. I believe this crystal is similar, but on a much grander scale. Used to house the living souls of an entire race of people."Nartaga took the crystal back and dropped the necklace back over his head before tucking the crystal back under his robes. His head turned to Kal'Shor once more, he stepped away from the stairs and walked back over to the two, stopping behind Nartaga once more. The Dunewalker turned around and faced outward from Nartaga and Jajamal, going back to keep an eye on anyone who came up to the balcony.-Nartaga- "What do you know of the Kumumgah, Master Jajamal?" Indeed the Jedi did have such technology, but most certainly not upon the scale of the crystal that Nartaga bore. Holocron's, as they were known, were only ever used to store the knowledge of a single Jedi, or as the case may be, a Sith. On occasion, they did have a guardian of the knowledge, but it was merely a digital copy of it's creator's mind. But this crystal... it was something more advanced than what either the Jedi or Sith could ever manage. As Nartaga mentioned the Kumumgah, Plus paused for a moment, thinking upon the nameI have heard the name before. They were our ancestors... Or at least, the ancestors of the Jawas and Tuskens. Suffice to say, we Jawas didn't quite get the good end of that evolutionary bargin... You think them the creators of this crystal?

Kal'Shor turned his head as other people came to the balcony. His arm went to his belt, with his knife, going on alert to make sure the conversation between Nartaga and Jajamal. Nartaga turned his head to make sure everything was okay, but soon turned back Jajamal, nodding his head to confirm his thoughts.
-Nartaga- "I know them to be...Still, if even the Jedi do not have technology this advanced, I will leave the subject there."
Nartaga seemed disappointed that he did think he would get any answers from the Jedi, but he would continue to look for answers. He decided to move on to the next item he wished to discuss. He put his hands together as he spoke.
-Nartaga- "Now, in exchange for allowing our clan to study here, what would the Jedi wish of us? There must be something we can offer."

I'm sorry I could not have been of more assistance to you... He could have attempted to divine some answers for Nartaga by studying the crystal, but messing with unknown technology could always be hazardous, and if not done with the utmost care, could result in catastrophic disaster. At any rate, his thoughts turned to the Tuskens question, taking a moment to wonder just what exactly the Tuskens might have that the Jedi would be in need of You have already honoured us with your gift. But I have no doubt, that we shall need your aide some time in the future, for a great darkness is gathering in the force...

Nartaga gazed up towards the sky as if trying to pinpoint where the disturbance was coming from. He had felt something too, though he could not define it. Hopefully it would blow over. He had felt many things over the years, and most had worked themselves out long before he had ever went off world. He assumed this would be no different, though to Nartaga this still felt slightly...different.
-Nartaga- "Indeed. The Outsiders always have something brewing past the Suns. It is a wonder that they have not gone extinct from all the conflicts they have had...Though the same could be said of my people as well."
Nartaga bowed once more to Jajamal, and spoke again as he lifted himself back up.
-Nartaga- "If the need should arise, the R'Crurak will aid the Jedi of Felucia in what way we can. Our territories are open to you. I believe the saying is...'Do not be a unknown person,' correct?"

Plur would have been surprised as well, but he had seen the vastness of the galaxy, and the worlds beyond count that were filled with life. It was no surprise that they were always at war, everyone always wanting a bigger piece of the galactic cake. But the Jedi would always be there to foster peace between factions, and ensure freedom for all. He returned the bow that Nartaga gave, knowing that this meeting was coming to an end, a small electronic chuckle escaping his translation device at the Tuskens saying Close enough. Stay safe my friend, and may the force guide us all

-Nartaga- "And may the Suns guide you to new horizons."
Nartaga turned and put his hand on Kal'Shor's shoulder. The Sentry Dunewalker turned and walked towards the stairs, Nartaga following behind him.
-Kal'Shor in Tusken- "I assume everything went well."
Nartaga chuckled and shook his head.
-Nartaga in Tusken- "As good as your concentration is, I doubt you blocked out everything that was said."
Kal'Shor smiled underneath his mask, and nodded his head.
-Kal'Shor in Tusken- "Well, I am glad it went well."
Nartaga and Kal'Shor continued speaking their native tongue as they continued on their way back to the hangar.

With his business concluded with the Tuskens. Plur Jajamal headed back down inside the Temple, to report everything that had happened in the meeting to the rest of the Council

So after a brief pause to think it over and process Rutil's words, he said only one word: “Yes.” "I'm glad, Taralorn." Rutil offered his compatriot a short, curt nod; as strong a symbol of approval as the Zabrak had ever been able to give. If the Jedi by and large had their way, they would still be mired in bureaucracy and politicking, far too much so to actually answer the threat that could be on their door at any moment. Rutil would need people that could get the job done, and weren't afraid to actually venture forth and see its completion. And since Kashyyyk, that list had grown shorter. Master Varro was likely helping to smooth the transition as the Hapes Consortium absorbed the Republic. Master Calmcacil had to help see the running of his operation here on Felucia. Master Rawkill had to help oversee the operations of the entire order. If Taralorn would be one of those ready-to-roll Jedi, as Rutil - and the galaxy itself - needed, then perhaps there was hope for them all yet.
With a quick turn on his rear heel, Rutil Iorek was gone from the balcony.

“May the Force be with you.” said Taralorn, softly, as he watched the Zabrak depart.
What interesting times to live in. He had no doubts that he'd be hearing a call from Rutil before too long. But Taralorn gave his word, and he would honour it. He also wondered at the way in which he'd gotten so...chatty? Maybe he ought to tone it down, and rely more on simple observation. To watch, and learn. That was, after all, a Jedi trait.
Rather than taking the traditional path back down, the yellow-eyed man simply leapt right off.

*The balcony, the highest point in the base, and perhaps the most tranquil apart from the gardens. And when unoccupied, the perfect place to have a meeting. Mina had yet to see the balcony, so she was understandably amazed by the view, releasing her father's hand and running to the edge, placing her hands on the railing and peering out over the base below and the jungle in the distance.
Aerandir smiled at her before turning towards Satish, his expression becoming a little more serious but still retaining the slight smile from his daughter's awe.* "What I wish to bring before you is of the utmost urgency to the well-being of the galaxy. I don't know if you've seen the message from Muunilinst, of one 'Soku Ren,'" *and there was clear mockery as he spoke the name,* "declaring a faction known as the 'Knights of Ren,' hinting at Imperial resurgence. Thanks to his stupidity, it's all the warning I needed to work with the now-independent worlds of the former Republic, and attempt to establish an Alliance to stand against whatever they may be planning, for the galaxy's sake.
"I wouldn't ask you to make this decision on behalf of the Grand Matriarch, and I will gladly send an ambassador to speak with her personally if it's preferable, but I would like to extend the invitation to Dathomir to stand with us, if they are able, and not let the Imperials trample the galaxy." *His expression betrayed the utmost urgency, but nor was it demanding; Dathomir could fully remain independent if they so chose, but he would rather see them on the side of good and right, and protected against the darkness that dared rear its ugly head in the galaxy once more.*

Satish had followed the Jedi Master through the base all the way to the roof. As he stepped out onto the balcony, the glow of his eyes and tattoos changed to a white, as the spirits of the wind whispered to him. It was a beautiful vantage point from which to view the Jedi Base, as well as much of the surrounding jungle of Felucia. He then settled his gaze upon Aerandir, as the Jedi Master explained the situation as it stood across the galaxy. Indeed, Satish had certainly heard of the rumours of the Imperials, he had seen the video of this Soku Ren. What ever name they used, he had sensed their presence through the spirits, and could tell from their display that they worshipped the Fanged God. Regardless, it appeared that the Jedi had not been at rest since the announcement, and had already begun to form an Alliance of worlds.
As it stood, Dathomir was situated on the edge of Imperial Space, and if these Imperials were reclaiming territory, then Dathomir was likely within their sights. Whilst the Daughters of Allya and the Shapers of Kro Var were quite powerful in their own right, Satish was under no illusions about their naval strength. They could defend against most incursions by small fleets sent forth by a single planet, but the might of an Empire was more than they could manage. Their forces could deal with ground attacks, but an Imperial fleet was more than capable of glassing Dathomir if they so chose.
The choice was not an easy one, after all, choosing a side meant painting a target on them for the other side, to remain neutral meant that they would stand alone against both sides. But Satish knew that Ebony would not side with the Imperials, partly because it was a move the Nightsisters would have made, but also because the Jedi were sided with the Alliance. By opening the Jedi Enclave to the Jedi Order, it was already an indication to Satish of where his wife were lay her loyalties. He gave a nod to the Jedi Master in that moment I have heard the stories of these Imperials. Their presence will soon find its way to Dathomirs borders, especially if your assessment is correct. Whilst you understand I cannot make such a decision without consulting the Grand Matriarch first, I think I can safely say she is very likely to accept your offer. However, sending an ambassador is still an advisable idea, so that she may make the decision herself properly. But we could certainly do with the aide militarily to defend our home, whilst aiding the Alliance with some of our own warriors...

*Aerandir felt somewhat relieved that Satish seemed to agree with Aerandir on all points, but he knew there was a lot more to be done to actually secure Dathomir's allegiance and their mutual aid. Satish also seemed concerned for the people of the world, another admirable trait as well. Perhaps this could all work out well to their own benefit. Nodding, Aerandir replied,* "Indeed, we could use each other's aid. It's something I'd like to have talked about with your Matriarch as soon as possible, but of course, seeing as you got here, I'm not in a rush to send you back home.
"So if you'd prefer to spend some time here on Felucia, that is of course fine as well. Could even send an ambassador ahead of us, or whatever works. We're pulling together as many worlds as we can, so we do have our hands full, but it's for the good of the galaxy and those within it." *His eyes turned toward Mina, still leaning over the railing and looking out over the jungle and the base below. In a way, she had lived war already, and for another to be on the brink was not something that made him happy. But she was here now, safe, protected; if he had his say, any inevitable war would not affect her. He could hope, at least... and do anything in his power to ensure it.*

Satish gave a nod to Aerandir, as the man inquired if he preferred to spend some time on Felucia. If his work did require him to leave so soon after arriving, then he would have complied. Such was his duty in this time. But it seemed that the Jedi Master was not in an immediate rush, meaning he could spend a day or two exploring the world. Felucia had a rather unusually strong spiritual connection, and he wouldn't mind learning more about it If the matter was of imminent importance, then I would have been happy to leave again immediately. However, if I might be allowed a day or two to spend some time meditating here, then that would be most welcome, and we can return to Dathomir together. The Matriarch would most appreciate us arriving together, I am certain. And then, we shall unite to ensure the freedom of those that cannot fight...

*Imminent importance? Truthfully, it was, but there was still other work to do in the Alliance, more powerful allies to seek; without those, the Alliance couldn't even begin to support the less militarily-inclined worlds. Even so, Aerandir would take all the allegiance he could receive, especially if it came in the form of highly Force-attuned warriors. Still, he wished to be able to defend the weak before he could take them under the Alliance's fold.
Nodding back, Aerandir replied,* "Very well, I can supply lodging for you, as well as a brief tour perhaps. And answer any questions you might have that I'm able to."

Satish offered the Jedi Master a bow of thanks. He could sense the mans thoughts were elsewhere, undoubtedly concerned with the Alliance that he was trying to build. Satish could understand the man's fears. But worrying about it would do him no good, especially since things would not move any faster than they already were by worrying about them A tour sounds nice, and having someone as knowledgeable as yourself would be most helpful. I am quite curious about Felucia, it is one of a few worlds I know very little about, despite the strength of the spirits here... The world is quite alive with them...

"Very well," *Aerandir agreed with a nod.* "And indeed, Felucia is very rich in the Force. It's its own living being, if you can believe it, though I'm not fit to tell you about that. I can tell you what I know, however. Come along, Mina," *he called out to his daughter, who turned away from the balcony's edge to look at him for a moment before releasing it and coming to join him, taking his side and regarding Satish quietly. Smiling, Aerandir turned and led Satish away from the balcony, giving him a brief tour of the base, answering any questions he may have, and also setting him up with a place to stay during his visit here...*

A gentle breeze caressed a figure that stood upon the balcony this day. It caught the dark-brown hair of the man's head, parading it into a seemingly choreographed dance. His deep green eyes flashed forward as his ever vigilant gaze fell upon the colorful fungal forest below. It had been some time since he'd been to this place. In fact, it wasn't for sure that he'd really ever been here, but then again there had been so much running through his mind these past few months . . . even years . . . that it was difficult to remember just everywhere he had been. This, however, seemed to be the new center point of the Jedi Order, and though he'd not been a forefront member in the years past, he was prepared to step up now and carry his weight. The feats of his past paled in comparison to what he prepared to face in his future.
Sihnyad's head turned and his gaze floated over to the archway that served as the entrance back into the Jedi Base, but it was only momentary as it soon returned to the towers of fungus below.

*How many times was this going to happen to him? A child, entering his life, becoming part of his family, and needing to be taught about their new home and way of life. This was the fourth time now, excluding his biological children, who learned in a different way than capable children who were suddenly transplanted into a new life. And so soon after Mina entered his life as well... That could almost have been a blessing, and her and Light could have adapted to the new environment together.
But Light was a vastly different type of child. Not one with any experience in... conventional culture, so not only was Aerandir tasked with teaching her about her new home, he also had to teach her about society and culture, how to properly adapt in that sense as well.
One of those things was the concept of birthdays. The day previous's had actually been Morgan's and Jake's, and, well, Baylee's. The three of them were eleven now, and as usual Aerandir was reminded of just how quickly his children were growing, renewing his vows to cherish their youth as long as possible. Light had been included in the birthday celebrations mostly on technicality, though he'd yet to give her a present... or properly explain the concept of birthdays.
Having a bit of downtime, he went looking for her, with him a gift he hoped would help her learn and adapt to society much more smoothly. After a bit of searching, he found her on the balcony. He smiled, approaching her, calling out,* "Hey there, kiddo," *before stopping beside her.* "You okay?" *He reached out to run his hand through her hair. It had been easy to adapt a fatherly persona toward her, what with her being a copy of Morgan and all, so actions like this had come naturally.*
