Tyan physically relaxed from her touch.
Her presence raidiated calm, peacefulness, and as she had confirmed she was real, this was real, and he was safe. Comforted by her words, her touch and the odd radiance she seemed to eminate Tyan seemed to be able to draw focus.
He turned to look her in the eyes.
"I was walking, from the city, out to the forrest. Then I only remember an explosion, heat, being hit............peppered by debris, I guess from the blast. I don't know how far away I was from the epicenter, but I guess by the sheer fact I survived I must have not been close to the blast center. The last image I remember before I lost conciousness was a figure. A blurred shadow, humanoid is all I can tell you, who they were and what their purpose, I, I don't know. Next thing I remember, is, is you."
Tyan stopped and turned away slighlty embarassed by this. Yet it was true, her's was the first face he had seen, and it was clear she was now not a form of angel. However there was something that seemed; at least to Tyan, Suppernatural, an air of mystery surrounding her.

Awen laid a reassuring hand on the boy's shoulder, a soft angelic smile on her lips as she leaned down to check something on the monitor beside his bed. She pressed a series of buttons on the screen then looked back at him as he concluded with his tale. Replacing his hand on the boys shoulder she smiled again and whispered softly down to him.
"Its alright now, its over... and you will make a full recovery under my care, now rest..."
The series of keystrokes she had entered had begun pumping a sedative into the boys body and within moments he would feel it begin to kick in and consciousness would be slowly robbed from him while his body continued to heal, Awen waited for the boy to fall back into a peaceful and restful sleep before turning to the ever present Clone Trooper behind her.
"You should pass word to Jez and Lucian that there may be hostiles on our perimeter, someone should inform the Jedi here as well, they do not look kindly on people blowing up their students, if that is even who this is..."
"Thank you again, Cane"
The trooper seemed hesitant to leave her but nodded silently and moved off into the corridor, only turning to smile at her even though she couldn't see it, he knew the Healer would feel the warmth coming off him from the departure. The halls had been packed with this and that... shipments from 'the Hammer' and the other ships, troopers moved about relocating and setting up things here and there. It wouldn't take long for everything and everyone to get situated and in place, hopefully soon Altair would return and things would be set into motion. Cane rounded a corner into the main complex of the Medical facility and found Jez standing with Lucian - recently returned from the Hanger bay. Jez seemed irritated - not that this was anything new, the two of them were always fighting over something - but Lucian seemed calm and composed as he raised a gentle hand to calm Jez with a simple touch to the shoulder. He turned and left without another word and Jez seemed less irritated as she turned to watch Cane approach, but she still was far from happy. Cane snapped to attention but relaxed after a wave from the Pilot.
"Captain, The boy that the team brought in has stabilized and he will make a full recovery, Awen hasn't slept since he got here and it is doubtful that she will now, but He gave minimal information as to what happened. An explosion outside the base grounds. He mentioned seeing a blurred humanoid shadow, and that was it."
"Take a team and sweep the perimeter of the Base, no doubt the Jedi have their own security force on sight but it wouldn't go amiss to double up on everything. Report back after the sweep has been complete. I'll send a message to the Jedi Master in charge here, no doubt he has his hands full and wouldn't mind us handling this issue ourselves, Lucian surely wont be here to do it!"
There was no little amount of bitterness in her voice, and the recent departure of the other Captain when he had only just arrived spoke to the reason for such.Cane wasn't sure where Lucian was running off to, but he had his orders, and even though he was working on no sleep as well since arriving that was nothing to him, they had all been pulling triple shifts since the attack in the Unknown Regions and a simple scouting op was nothing. He snapped another salute to Jez before turning and moving off to assemble his team. Jez brought a hand to her temple and massaged the pent up stress away - she HATED being on garrison duty.

Jez and Lucian stood a few meters back from the recently delivered containment unit. Inside sat their objective, at least a third of it. No sooner had the hat been delivered had Lucian returned, a distant and disturbed look on his face. Cane and several other troopers stood about - Cane was disgruntled about being made to leave Medical. Awen had yet to rest, and was no going on several days just like the rest of them. It had grown troublesome to even get her to eat - the patient she was with continued to slip in and out of consciousness, still recovering from his ordeal in the nearby woods. Lucian was the first to move... and to speak for that matter.
"Well there is nothing for it now... it must be removed from containment and placed in our analysis unit. The droids are going to have a field day with this one..."
As Lucian stepped towards the containment unit a hush fell over the room. Almost instinctively Jez stepped forward with him, unable to allow her twin to face this unknown danger alone. They had all heard the rumors about the lingering power of the artifact and a few of them had been around the first time to see the damage Madigan had unleashed upon the planet - and Gadriel's army.Lucian turned and shook his head at Jez, pushing her back next to Cane who was gripping tightly to his blaster rifle.
"Cane if I even look like im about to put that hat on... shoot me."
Cane nodded and half raised his rifle - much to the annoyance of Jez who was still shaken from being pushed back. A look of concern overshadowed the near constant 'bitch-face' she normally masked her face with but she remained where she was watching Lucian step once again towards the containment unit. The moment the unit was opened a darkness filled the room, then a weak but clearly mad cackling followed. A few of them that had been trained in the Force visibly shuddered, and even those that had not seemed uneasy as every clone in the room half raised their weapons towards their seemingly fearless leader who did not even hesitate as he reached down into the containment unit with his gloved hands... hesitation... there for only a moment and yet it seemed to be enough - the hat sensed his fear!
"HA! YOU TOLD THEM NOT TO TOUCH ME! I FEEL YOUR FEAR!"
Safeties thumbed off every rifle in the room was aimed at Lucian fingers itching triggers each one waiting for a reason... each one ready to kill their own leader - such was their resolve.Lucian steeled himself and proceeded, remembering what Altair had told him about the Hat. He leveled off his mind and began to focus remembering the pretty Mandalorian girl he had met a few days prior. @kaiyaordo was her name... He kept her face in his mind, perfectly framed as he leaned over and lifted the hat out of the unit and stood to his feet, holding the artifact at arms length. The darkness in the room grew and the laughing returned, this time stronger - leeching off the life force of the clone Captain.Lucian seemed to age instantly upon touching the artifact his back sagged with years more struggle and hardship than he had endured and his knees sank - it looked as if 20 years or more had passed upon him as he turned towards the analysis droid who stood there waiting - seemingly unaware of the struggles and the darkness falling upon the man - the droids optical sensors were blank. Lucian took another step, then another. He didn't even seem to notice every gun in the room was trained upon him, he simply kept that image in his mind as he set the had hat gently down upon the analysis tray and pulled his hands back - instantly vitality sprung into him again, his back straightened and he looked as though nothing had happened. He turned towards Jez and smirked - that classic look that he always had on his face the first time they saw each other after a dogfight, or that moment when a tricky maneuver had succeeded in saving them from certain death. The look of victory.
"Well... that wasn't so hard..."
As if nothing had passed the Analysis Droid turned and began beeping - its sensors at work at last as the droid moved to hook into a power unit that connected 5 pods that had been moved from the ship above planetside for this project. The pods were cloning units - each of them full sized for a grown clone, and each of them were empty. The clones about the room all visibly relaxed, standing at ease and lowering their rifles at the ease shown by their Captain. Only Jez seemed to still be concerned as she looked over Lucian a moment longer. Before she could say anything however - Lucian spoke again.
"One down... now the hard work begins!"

*Ellie finally found her way to the med bay. The closer she got the more she felt an unsettling presence, one strong in the dark side. Something was off though, the presence didn't feel like it was coming from a living thing. Her question was answered when she entered the med bay and saw Lucian standing in front of a containment unit. This made her wonder if he found the spear he was looking for. Carefully, she made her way to the back of the group to watch what was happening.*

Entering the area of the cloning and medical facilities that her twin leads the way to, Kaiya follows her to the back of a cluster of beings watching something happening near a containment unit, her brows knit and her expression mildly troubled as, like her sister, the unmistakable, discordant notes of Bogan's presence, faint though they may be, can be felt in Ashla's s currents.
Reaching up with her left hand to massage her temple, Kaiya focuses on Ashla's presence, willing herself to keep the memories that the sense of Bogan's influence give rise to, memories of Ryloth and all that befell her and her twin afterwards, from welling up and distracting her from their purpose. Ellie needs her, Kaiya tells herself, remembering the sense that there is so much anger and uncertainty in her twin beneath the purposeful and driven exterior that she has adopted ever since embarking upon their quest to find the one they seek, and she cannot allow herself to get distracted by the past. Mentally shaking off the unwanted associations, Kaiya refocuses on the present, her expression relaxing to its more customary calm and stoic state.

Lucian's eyes moved past his oft times overprotective and ever constant companion and focused on the two newcomers. He blinked - refocusing - wondering if what he saw was a residual effect of handling the Hat, but when his eyes refocused there they were - the pair of mandalorian twins standing in the middle of his cloning facility. Their presence had seemingly gone unnoticed by everyone in the room, and he had forgotten that he had pulled guard duty to this sector to overwatch - they were all in this room now.
Cane turned towards the silent pair of Jedi but said nothing - looking them over for a brief moment with the stoic impassive view from behind his helmet's visor. He nodded briefly and then took a step back, turned on his heel and exited the room - no doubt returning to Awen and the Medical Wing.
The other troopers dispersed each returning to their duty as Lucian shook off the lingering effects of the darkness surrounding the Hat and stepped forward to once again greet the newcomers.
"Ellie, Kaiya... Welcome back. I trust your venture into the Jungle was fruitful?"
Jez turned somewhat shocked to see the pair here and raised an eyebrow at Lucian's pause after Kaiya's name. Her eyes returned to the one so named and looked her over with an intrusive and penetrating glance only pausing to roll her eyes at Lucian's horrid pun. Crossing her arms over her chest she chose however, to remain silent.Lucian's eyes also fell upon Kaiya, narrowing slightly - it didn't take a jedi's intuition to tell something was obviously bothering the young girl - but he looked back to Ellie - normally the more talkative of the two - at least in his experience.
"Is there some way I can be of assistance after all?"

*Ellie could sense something unusual in Lucians force signature. As quickly as Ellie felt the presence it was gone. Shaking the feeling from her mind and answered his question.* "Yeah. We found a few things, not much though." *She reached into her pocket and pulled out a datapad.* "We found a list of places they stopped for fuel. Now we just need help tracking them down. Or at least enough to give us a lead anyway."

Lucian still seemed to be shaking off the effects of handling the Hat, and Jez was standing by his side protectively and suspiciously looking him over every few moments but not saying anything. Lucian had filled her in on his meeting with the two Mandalorian Jedi, as well as warned her against calling them bounty hunters or anything of the like and so she had expected them to show up eventually, but it had been a long while since Lucian had brought strays home, and this pair seemed desperate enough as it was. Lucian, still ignoring the obvious fawning Jez was doing over his well being took a step closer to the two raising his hand and giving a clone battalion "Dismissed" signal in the process. As the Clones began to file out of the Room leaving only the two Jedi and the two flight captains alone he spoke...
"We'll we can plug your list into our computer and it could generate a possible course they are taking... depending on how dated the list is, and if they were moving in a predictable pattern... it could give you at least a quadrant to look at, perhaps a system. Show us what you've got?"
Lucian motioned Ellie over towards a computer terminal on the opposite wall of the Analysis Droid and the Hat, he didn't want to be any closer to that thing then he had to be. Looking over Ellie's shoulder he gave Kaiya a wink but said nothing as they walked the several feet over to the terminal. Unlocking it and setting it for Ellie's use he stepped aside giving her access - Jez remained behind him, shadowing his movements but all-together remaining silent.

*Ellie simply gave a nod at the man's response. He was willing to help and had the resources, she wasn't going to say no. She could almost feel Lucian wink at her sister. Rolling her eyes in amusement. Without a word, she plugged the datapad into the terminal and let the information download.* "With any luck, this will help us track them down." *She turned her gaze back to Lucian.* "So. How'd searching for the artifacts go? I could sense...something when we go close to the room."

Jez raised an eyebrow at her knowledge of their mission - but true to form remained silent, her eyes turning instead to Lucian and raising slightly in question.Lucian ignored the rather pointed look and continued to devote his attention to Ellie, looking over the star charts that were displayed upon the screen. Reaching over he clicked his fingers across the keys in a series of strokes that sent the read out to the central holo projector - usually used (in this room) to show the scans of the patience in one of the medical pods that had been converted into Cloning chambers for their own purposes.
"Well, the team I sent into the prison system below the surface of the planet was able to retrieve the first, and probably the most dangerous of the three. The feeling you sense is a powerful Dark Side force focused around a rather bizarre looking Top Hat. This particular had was warn by a warrior of darkness that fought in a war on this planet some decade ago or more. My old General, a Master Librarian by the name of Gadriel'lya - fought in the war. The other two we seek, continue to elude us."
His attention returned to the star charts where the systems they had recovered from the datapad were being projected and marked with glowing dots among the countless stars projected about the room.Jez had broken off from the group the same moment Lucian had begun to key in the strokes to project the starmap and by this point she was across the room dimming the lights to reveal the chart a little brighter as it shown above and around them.
"Their path seems erratic but they are clearly moving across this section of space, do you know what drives them, or what they are searching for. You had mentioned there might be a Dark Force user among them... do you know his motivations... something he might be looking for in this particular area of the Universe?"

Not oblivious to the woman that appears intent on shadowing Lucian in a way that suggests that she is, at the very least, protective of him, Kaiya answers his wink with a bemused arching of an eyebrow followed by a pointed glance in Jez's direction.
Content for the moment to allow her twin and Lucian to do the talking, Kaiya silently shadows her sister protectively as Jez does the same with Lucian. Listening to Lucian's description of the artifact his team had recovered, Kaiya glances over her shoulder towards the opposite wall where the artifact in question is, a moue of distaste unconsciously turning the corners of her lips downward, for knowing what the source of the disturbing discord she had sensed roiling within Ashla's currents provides little relief from it.
Returning her attention to the star charts as Lucian summarizes his analysis of the data she and her twin had recovered, Kaiya makes a note of the section in space that appears to be where their quarry is likely to be traversing, and then turns towards her sister to await her answer to Lucian's question as to what it might be that drives their quarry, finding the question to be a good one. With any luck, Kaiya thinks, her twin's time with their quarry will have given her some insight into his motivations, giving them the key they need to unlocking the mystery of where it is he might be, or might soon be.

*Ellie stared intently at the star charts, soaking in as much information as possible. She didn't take her eyes of the charts when she spoke.* "There are force users. What their searching for could be just about anything. The last thing I knew they were looking for was more force users to bulk his followers. Whatever they're looking for, we'll find it and stop them." *Several of the planets did stick out to her, but what one was the right one. Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine and several other less than desirable places were at the top of the list.* "I'll try narrowing it down. In the meantime, do you need any assistance? From the sounds of it you have quite the challenge ahead of you."

Jez seemed not to notice Kaiya's returning glance, or her presence at all after those few moments had past, and she continued to give off that aura of distain and distrust to the pair of newcomers. Jez seemed in almost every way Lucian's polar opposite, and yet they hovered around eachother and moved in almost perfect tandem. Their movements here in the room were synced almost perfectly. Their foot falls fell at the same time - without even looking at eachother or back to back they moved perfect rhythm - but while he was outgoing, boisterous, full of character and seemingly enjoyment for life - she was quiet, reserved, brooding, and thoughtful about each and every decision she made. Reluctantly her eyes too followed the trail through space and It was her that finally said something.
"They stopped at Tattooine first... and Nar Shadda isn't to far away - there is no way that is a resupply or a fuel stop. They were there because they wanted to be, and they wanted to make it look like it was a routine stop for fuel. Unless they're flying around the Universe in a 'Wing its highly improbably they needed fuel that soon. I would begin the next leg of my search there - im sure he would find all manner of undesireables to join his cause on that backwater scum-pit"
Lucian nodded in time with her - silently agreeing with her assessment of the star chart, and not feeling the need to reiterate her opinion he let the matter pass and allowed Ellie to change the subject. He looked thoughtful for a moment and tilted a head towards Jez - who's demeanor seemed to improve at finally being acknowledged by him. She simply returned his look with a shrug and then turned to look over at Kaiya, who/s attention had moved off to assess the containment unit the Hat lay within then she idly strolled off towards another terminal seemingly oblivious .
"A Jedi might be just the thing we need actually...If you'll note..."
As soon as the word "note" left Lucian's lips the star chart above their heads vanished and a hologram of three artifacts filled the space above their heads. Jez had activated the panel controlling the hologram manipulator and had loaded a dat-card from her belt. One of the Artifacts was pulsing green, while the other two were a dim red color. The green artifact was of course the Hat they had in the containment unit. The one next in line looked to be the end of a Spear with only enough of its shaft left in tact to be held barely with a single hand, but still the spears blade was several feet in length. The third artifact was shadowed and did not produce a clear image other than a square blob of holographic static.Of course Lucian continued without missing a beat, already pointing towards the projection of the spear.
"As you might have heard me explain to the Younglings that retrieved the Hat for me... There was a great war here a decade or so ago. There were three great entities involved with this war, the Hat belonged to a footsoldier in one of these entities armies, and as you might expect, still lingers with the energy that entity embodied - the Dark Side of the Force. The Spear - is the balance to that evil, and belonged to the Entity of light. It is this Artifact we now seek, and I was thinking who better to be drawn to an artifact of light... than a pair of beautiful and capable Jedi?
Lucian's smirk was playful as well as flattering as he passed his gaze from Ellie to Kaiya, then back again. He lowered his hands took a step towards the two Jedi, silent for the moment wondering what they thought of his mini presentation and waiting patiently for the questions that were sure to follow.

Kaiya rests her chin atop the knuckles of her left hand while listening to Jez's analysis of the data, finding the woman's conclusions and suggestions more than logical even though the faint hint of a frown, lingering only briefly, betrays the fact that she finds the idea of visiting Tatooine or Nar Shadda less than appealing. The frown fades, however, her expression resuming its more typical serene resolve as her personal reservations and misgivings are washed away by her unswerving determination to pursue their quarry no matter where the chase leads them so that, Ashla willing, her twin can be freed from whatever strange hold their prey has managed to take on Ellie.
After a glance towards her sister to gauge her reaction to Jez's analysis, Kaiya turns her attention to Lucian as he responds to Ellie's question of whether he might need assistance. An apologetic furrow appears between her brows when, his presentation and subsequent implicit request concluded, he suggests not so subtly that she and her twin might be able to help him find that which he seeks; her initial feeling being that, because of the urgency she senses in her sister to find their prey and end whatever machinations he has set in motion, they have no time to linger here on Felucia now that they have learned their quarry has departed for parts as yet unknown, and so will not be able to help in the search for The Spear. Kaiya's blue eyes also reveal, for those attentive to such things, her personal sense of reservation where declining to aid in the search for The Spear is concerned; for her training and the sense of duty the Order has instilled in her the imperative to render aid unto those that ask it, and the fact that The Spear belonged to an Entity of Light intrigues her.
Her sense of duty to her twin, however, is in the end stronger, and so rather than reply to the question implicit in Lucian's concluding query, she turns to face Ellie with her pale blonde left eyebrow arched inquisitively to make it evident that, in this particular instance, she leaves the matter of what course they will set in her sister's hands.

*Ellie arched an eyebrow at the term 'beautiful and capable ladies'. She glanced from her twin then back to Lucian.* "Can you give us a second." *She motioned her twin to follow till they were out if earshot before she spoke in a low voice.* "so..what do you think? I feel like we need to help him, but we need to keep on the hunt. Maybe we can help point him in the right direction. At least until I figure our next move."

Following Ellie, Kaiaya purses her lips in thought after her twin has spoken, indulging her penchant for silently examining any issue or concern from multiple angles before responding to it. While Kaiya, like her sister, feels inclined to offer whatever help they can to help the Search for The Spear, she is also all too aware of the fact that her twin has yet to completely recover from her encounter with the prey they now seek; just as she is all too aware of the peril her twin could face should she not effect a complete recovery.
Her nod a reluctant one, Kaiya agrees with some degree of reservation and concern evident in her tone, "I wouldn't feel right if we did not at least see if his sense that we might be able to help proves to be founded on more than his assessment of our physical appearance, vod. Nodding with less reservation, as though sensing that her agreement will have made their course more certain, Kaiya says, And, like you said, we can at least try to see what help me might be while you think about how we can best continue our hunt, right? Nodding her chin towards where they left Lucian and Jez, Kaiya says, Let's go and let them know, shall we?"
Once they have rejoined Jez and Lucian, the two apparently nigh as inseparable as Kaiya and her twin it seems, Kaiya makes their decision apparent by asking, "Where do we start?"

*Ellie gave a nod at her sisters response. Leaning in some as they walked towards Lucian, she whispered to her twin.* "I wasn't going to complain about his assessment, but you're right though. We should set the record straight for him."

Jez was the first to look up at the pair returning from the hall, her eyes narrowed and inquisitive as always. She didn't seem phased at all when Kaiya spoke, simply nodded slowly and returned her glance to the datapad she had acquired in their short absence flicking through what seemed to be a flight manifest - she was looking for inventory on something.Lucian was slower to turn, still viewing the Hologram displayed above the room. when he did turn he leaned back against the projector and crossed his arms over his chest, his demeanor seeming to change somewhat. He was still as laid back as he always seemed to be - every inch the hotshot pilot stereotype, but something in his tone made him seem more authoritative than he had been a moment before - like jokes were aside for what was to come.
"I feel compelled to explain to you... These artifacts have a great deal of power - and I will not be able to explain all of the facets behind them because honestly we do not know. The last person that came into contact with one of these weapons other than the children i sent into the Prison to retrieve the hat died... The children got very lucky. I cannot continue to insure the safety of those involved once more of these artifacts begin to come into proximity with one another... before - their power spiked exponentially."
Quite possibly one of the most serious expressions ever to take Lucian's face happened in that moment - and he did not take his eyes off the twins before him. He would not be responsible for the deaths of any Jedi on this world because they bit off more than they could chew. He was here following orders - they were not.

The change in Lucian's demeanor, seriousness replacing his previous more playful and light bantering tone, has the desired effect; successfully conveying to Kaiya the danger inherent in what he asks of her and her twin, and she nods soberly to indicate her understanding of what he has said.
Her recent traumatic experience with the Darksider she and her sister now hunt has, perhaps, made her more cautious than she had been before, but it has not made her cowardly, and so after a moment of reflection and consideration of the peril offering their aid may invite, Kaiya makes her determination to help in whatever way she can when she asks in a determined tone, "Where do we start?"

Lucian's smile finally returned as that look of determination flashed across Kaiya's face. He nodded slightly and just as he did so Jez had already pulled up a map of the surrounding Felucian Terrain, with the Jedi Base in the center of it. Many markings were splattered across the map face indicating battles that took place during the chaos war with the Dark One Ramius. One of the markings was shaped like the tip of a spear, and was blinking.
"The markings on the map indicate battles fought during the war... the one blinking is the last known location of the being known to some as Kalis. He was a warrior of Light that gave his life to defend our greatest warrior - during this battle his weapon was broken in half - the shaft of the weapon does not concern me, the energy that resides within the artifact was contained within the blade - that is what needs to be retrieved. Only one person walked away from that battle - aside from Ramius himself - so this is the Area we must search first"
