The Suite of the Imperial Head of State is where the supreme executive, government and military authority lives. The suite is a rather large section of the Temple that has been refined and outfitted to suit the needs of the Head of State. From the door, a long corridor connects to a lobby area where the Head of State goes about with casual business and to entertain dignitaries. From this room, another corridor leads the main office. Here professional business is conducted, the Head of State meets with personnel of the Imperial Remnant and also confers with his most trusted advisers. And finally, a door on the right side of the main office would lead to the private chambers of the Head of State.
The office is decorated with a predominately maroon color with other darker colors that mix with the white lights and other details. Various ornaments are displayed from the banner of the nation to plants from various planets of the Imperial Remnant to portraits of famous Imperial leaders, commanders and personnel that came before the current Head of State.*

*A dark figure enters the room, followed closely by his three closest associates. The first associate was a tall miralukan male in full imperial Knight armor. His looks were similar to the imperial knight Gabe Soloman, but with enough difference you could tell they werent related. The second was a short Twi'lek female with dark red skins and the markings of the sith. She was clad in traditional black sith robes and looked extremely beautiful. The third was human. A tall dark and handsome looking man in his prime, he was decorated in his Imperial uniform, all trim and proper. The dark figure himself wore solid black Imperial Knight armor, with his black hood up. He stood about 6'9 and towered over the others with his commanding presence. The Twi'lek looked puzzled when they arrived here in the Head of State's suite.*
"Nylos, what the kriff are we doing here? Could we not have met in the cantina?"
"Patience Kysandra", spoke the hooded man, "All will make sense soon"
*With that, he raised his hands and faced them at bothe Kysandra and the miraluka, In a split second he tore from them their souls and devoured them. ?The soulless husks just stood staring in awe and fear but could not move. The Imperial Captain tried to run but found himself unable to move.*
"Captain Imog, leaving so soon?"
*The Captain turned and was forced to look Nylos in the eye.*
"W-w-what are you?!"
"Im am Nylos, Nightmare of Souls. I am death."

One of the last StormTroopers on the planet QT-80082 "Erebus" stood inside the room which was a flurry of activity. Behind his black duraplast armour he watched as the command staff rushed about flustered. The battle in space was still anyones game, and he smirked. This pirate scum had made these bureaucrats feathers rustle. Then with a flicker of irritation it was only his years of conditioning that kept his mouth shout. Men and women were dying, Imperials were being killed and they did not want to use the ground weapons.
Walking out of the room he switched off with the replacement of his, heading out the door he looked backwards one last time before going somewhrere else.

Silence, an eerie silence. The Suite of the Imperial Head of State was less bustling than it used to be. Rain pattered against the large viewscreen of the city as Nicademus Delvardus gazed outside. He sighed lightly, rising from his seat to stand. His eyes never once leaving the spires of the city that surrounded the Imperial Council Center, the heart of the Imperial Remnant's government. He watched as a few hovercraft flew by, the typical traffic of this hour. His hand then lifted, revealing the badge of his office, the Imperial Head of State and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Military. Quietly, Nicademus tossed it a few times then sighed. He came here as a leader and seemed to be an ideal one, but now, things had changed. Maybe....maybe he wasn't the leader he thought he could be to the Imperial Remnant.
Slowly his hand returned to his lower back, joining his hand there where his fingers fiddled with the official badge. Nicademus remained quiet and in deep thought as his gaze remained upon New Escrow. His mind thinking upon what should be done for the good of the Imperial nation and people. For the good of this nation's future.

The door slid open with a hiss, and an armored figure stepped through. Vallen looked about, searching for an administrative assistant or a aide to point him towards Nicademus

=Some time before the Imperial Remnant joins the Empire=
There wasn't anyone in sight save Stormtroopers who stood on guard duty. One turns around, keying the door to the main office of the Imperial Remnant's Head of State. With the door open, a clear path could be seen to an individual sitting at his desk, quietly flipping through holo reports.

The smoke that once covered and darkened New Escrow was no more. The rebels who attempted to take control of the planet and the Deep Core were eliminated; fire squads had dealt with the traitors, both those within the government and outside. The movement had been rooted out, weapons confiscated and resistance demolished. The city was being rebuilt, slowly but surely.
A pair of eyes gazed out of the viewscreen that overlooked New Escrow from the Imperial Council Center. A sigh escaped lips unseen before the gaze turned away. The figure of Moff Delvardus sat down in his chair and glanced over at the reports that caused his much distress. The Emperor, Lord Sinistra, had vanished...for good it seems. The Empire was without leadership, the woman known as the Major was MIA and most of the hierarchy of the Empire was moments from total chaos perhaps. Nicademus rubs his temple quietly, concerned for the Empire he had longed to see reborn...only to slowly whither as a flower during a time of drought. The center had to hold! But how? How could it be held?

A cold breeze seems to blow from no where and everywhere in the room. Any reports written on real paper are blown about, forming a funnel in the center of the room. For an instant all is silent before the crack of thunder emanates from the epicentre. The smell of death and decay permeates the air a few moments later as a figure appears, first the form wavering before settling into its full form. The crown upon his head shimmering, and his cloak seeming to flow from the same invisible wind. The man beneath it looks much like the smell emanating from it. Dead.
His face is haggard and dirty, his eyes although having bags under them spoke of something different. They said this foul creature was alive, and on the war path. Despite the gaunt look to the face his body was imposing. Standing six foot seven he towered over most living men and women, and his form was enough to make a farmer envious. He was built to throw hay, wide shoulders, broad chest and a six pack that would make Wolverine cringe. Beneath this visage though was another form entirly.
The original Xeonon was there and parts of him leaked through to this man. All the blood spilt by his hands literally dripped from his shell, his face and eyes also had blood dripping from it. His scaring was severe and no amount of malice and hate can keep it hidden forever. The blinking from planet to planet taxed his body and thats when it showed the most.
Turning his blue eyes he stared deeply at Grand Moff Delvaradus. He had once known this man, he needed to see him. The Empire would suit his goals very well but he would need to jump start it a little.
Nice my old friend.
He wondered how the man would react. It wasnt every day your dead friend returns to you an evil vengeful spirit trapped inside anothers body with the will to overthrow the Whills and rule the galaxy. Would he recognize Xeonon somehow? Would he cower as most did? Maybe like his last encounter he would try to kill him. Watching these mortals with their reactions always thrilled him.

A chill ran down Nicademus's spine as a wave of cold air moved into his suite. The Imperial slightly covers his nose with his gloved hand, smelling something foul rising only moments later. Did someone die in this office while he was away from Aargau and only now noticed the stench? However, his answer came when the corner of his eyes noticed something appear in the middle of his office.
His head slowly turned in the direction of what the source of the smell and suddenly drop in temperature. The Moff remains seated, watching as this figure took shape and spoke to him in all too familiar voice. Nicademus sighs slightly, leaning back in his chair as Xeonon spoke.
I knew someday the drinking Tyrana and you participated in would get to you, Xeonon. But not like this...this is just a bit overboard. If you came back from death to ask me to pay off your debts, look for someone else who is made of money.
Nicademus snorts slightly, replacing what could have been a good laugh. However, Xeonon must be here for business and it was best to get straight to that business. The Moff leans forward in his chair, placing his arms and elbows upon the desk.
I suspect you have your reasons for coming back from death to see me, Xeonon. So, lets get to whatever business you have.

I guess you dont become a Moff without gaining a few things. He wondered how Delvaradus knew he was him, not being his own body and all but hey. Stranger things had happened.
If only it was the booze that killed me, some git of a Sith on Prakith as you know you old crow. I died for you.
His death was not the reason for him being here, summoning a golden sceptre he sat down in one of the chairs and put his left leg over his right leg looking sophisticated.
Oh you cant imagine how much I want to kill you for that. Send the whole of the Empire into the shits. End it once and for all with your death. Thats how important you are. You may have heard whispers of a dreadful shade stalking the universe. Killing thousands at a whim, occasionally helping someone. Maybe you havent I am new to these lands again and I forget how slow news travels. Even stuff of the tabloids. How do you know I am not here to shoot the shit as they say?
Summoning up some food he had a plate of pizza in front of him. The food was his one link to being human, the taste and movement of the mouth helped calm down. Organize his thoughts. Taking a bite of the pizza the grease and other flavours exploded in his mouth, pulling away a string of cheese hung from his chin.

The Moff remains quiet for now, listening to the words of this shadow, a former image of glory among the Imperial Knights. Nicademus knew of the attack on Prakith, the losses to the Imperial Army and Navy stationed in the Deep Core during the time of the Imperial Remnant. His eyes glance outside at the rebuilding of New Escrow.
You died for me and I regret that. I regret what happened at Prakith. That is why I came to save Aargau in her time of need, Xeonon. I could have let this planet result in a second Prakith but to a greater degree. However...I came because it was an opportunity to ensure police action and extreme measures could be placed. Measures that brought fear once more to the minds of our public and...shadowy adversaries. And because I did so much for this planet...
Calmly, Nicademus leans back only to move over to pull up the HoloNews Net. Slowly he turns it for Xeonon to view. All over the channels of the Empire, a common phrase was seen: "The Emperor is Gone." He taps his finger lightly upon his desk.
The only whispers I have heard involve what may have happened to the Emperor, Xeonon. My concerns lie in its future; much of the High Command has vanished and we have holes all over our command structure; among the military and the government. The center is falling...just as it did after Palpatine died.

Heh sentiminetality. If only he shared the same thought as this man. Everyone wants to die when they are old, in their beds surrounded by people they love. Being cut in half when you are only half way through life; it has a way of putting a damper on things. Having your corpse float around the stars in the back of someones space ship also did that.
I hate to say but planets mean little to me know, as they will you when your time comes. Only your own goals and ambitions, and to tell you the truth most choose mundane things.
His time in death had been spent doing just that. Enjoying the pleasures of the body. Sex, food, drink. Anything at all that pleased him he did, until he was ripped away from his eternal bliss by three heartbroken fools.
Its true. Sinstra is gone. She is alive but something is hiding her from me or I would have approached her directly, save with the one people call Major. Alive but missing and its anyones guess if and when they come back to the Empire. A few Moffs are trying to create their own fiefdoms but they wont last, itll make all the hard work crumble. They will all fall within 10 years and the Empire forgotten. They need someone to lead them that has the experience of it
After finishing the pizza in record time he offered some to the High Moff, with his sceptre waving over it. After he would play with the head of it twirling the bulb around in his head giving it the appearance of an old timey bomb with a long fuse.

Calmly Nicademus raises his hand, declining the offer. Then Moff sighs and looks back at New Escrow once more, a city scarred by the toils of civil war. A war that almost won if the Nemesis Command had not broken through the flotilla hanging over the planet. Perhaps more civil war would come as the Empire crumbled.
We have seen visionaries rise and fall, Xeonon. I suspect you and Lord Horica have seen more than I. Sadly, I do not think anyone has the legitimacy to sit upon the throne and claim the Empire's leadership for their own. It will most likely be petty warlords throwing warships and soldiers at each other among the stars and upon planets soon enough.

Ah so they were nearing the climax of their talk already. Well speed is of the essence or something like that. Very well. The food disappeared in an instant and all was silent in the room for a little bit. Xeonon knew what he was going to say, but effect and everything right.
You. Stand in, they are alive after all. Stand in as the leader until they return; after all you lead the Imperial Remnant here. You made it into a massive machine that destroyed the New Order of the Eye. Imagine what you can do with this Empire that spans thousands more systems, you could finally bring peace to the galaxy. Between you and me I prefer when a force user isnt in power. It usually has bad effects for the galaxy when they are.
He said it and he knew Nica very well. Possibly better than the man knew himself, death had a way of making everything clear after all. Eventually the man would have come to this conclusion, there was something about his persona that made him do what was needed.
You should hurry up though. Word on the street is some General has taken it upon himself to launch attacks against the Republics. Did you know they were responsible for Kuat?

Nicademus turns his gaze upon Xeonon or what was Xeonon. The name Delvardus was famous due to Sander Delvardus, the man who funded the creation of the Night Hammer, an impressive and stealthy Super Star Destroyer and ruler of the Eriadu Authority. Calmly the Moff rises from his spot, his hands behind his back.
I could hardly constitute as a candidate, Xeonon. I am just a simple Moff after all. I may rule the most unified sector of the Empire, but I don't have the military backing nor the popularity to step in and command this Empire. To many, I am new blood to the Empire, so as is the rest of those who among the ranks of the Imperial Remnant.
Nicademus sighs lightly and turns once more to gaze upon the rebuilding city.
Yet, the Empire needs a leader...and among those who advised me as the leader of the Imperial Remnant, you were counted among my closest, Xeonon. One whose words and advice I could trust and take to heart. If you say that I should be this leader, then I should follow your advice and go to Kuat.
The Moff reaches over and keys a comlink upon his desk. A response is heard immediately.
Yes, Moff Delvardus?
Admiral Titus, prepare the Nemesis for departure. Set the coordinates for Kuat. When I arrive, we jump for the Empire's capital in the Core region.
Yes, My Lord Delvardus.
The comlink makes a clicking sound as the connection is ended. Nicademus looks to Xeonon.
Care to join me on a trip to Kuat, Xeonon?

Right now people are looking for leadership. We dont want another debacle like after Palpatine died do we?
Actually if you could believe it Xeonon was responsible for many of the Moffs splintering for power. After his death and revival he used his powers to go back in time to whisper in the ear of those Moffs, Generals, Admirals and every other person who tried to carve out their own empire. Together they could have wiped the Rebellion out with no problem, but divided they were weak. Hell his plans were almost ruined once Thrawn showed up. Its a good thing his body guard was more seceptable to his whisperings.
Shaking his head Xeonon rose a hand.
Im sorry I cant. My plans spread up to the Etheral plains. I will be watching the Empire grow and flourish under your reign, and dont forget it. You get one free pass. I need this Empire to succeed more than you know old friend. Before I let you leave I need something from you. Or rather 2 things. One day in the future I will ask something of you. You will give it.
His tone of voice was serious, but inside this was the one person in the galaxy he did not was to disrespect. Call it old ties.
The second will be much easier, although it will hurt all the more. One day in the future, after everything has gone right and your Empire will match both Fels and Palpatines you will fail at something. After all you success and progress something you do will not go your way.
He left it at that, he was not a Whill. Not as powerful as one. Yet. So he could only generalize but if he could manage what he wanted then maybe he could prove himself wrong.
Im sorry I cant come with you, there is Pirate on Roon with balls of steel who needs my attention.

Nicademus looks at Xeonon, listening to the words spoken to the man. He grimaces slightly at the mention of the two things.
You sure know how to make someone enthusiastic, Xeonon. I know I will have to watch my back for you someday then.
The Moff then grabs his cap and blaster then proceeds for the door. He pauses for a moment.
Thank you, Xeonon...I probably should have said that more than once before, but thank you.
With that, Nicademus departed from the room.
