Related to here. For those previously involved in the Mandalorian Crusade starting at the Battle of Yavin IV, welcome back. For those new to this idea, good on you for checking out my super-catchy thread title. This is a Sign-Up thread to get an accurate list of who is here and who is not for the battle between the invading Mandalorian Forces (under the command of Mandalore Ashra ... Ashara ... Inky), and the Jedi Defenders of the Jedi Praxeum of Yavin IV. Please read the linked thread first, or, if you're impatient and don't enjoy following polite requests, here's the scoop. A large chunk of the initial invasion on 1.5 was lost. Some was recovered, but it's been deemed too costly and time-consuming to try and continue things from that point. With this in mind, the Battle itself will open a day or two after the spearhead by the Mandalorians. Yavin IV's fleets are in disarray or destroyed, the students and civilians of the Moon and Station have been evacuated, Yavin Station is in the hands of the Mandos (but sabotaged by the retreating Jedi to make it all-but-useless until it can be brought back online), and Mando warships are blockading the Moon, since they cannot breach the Deflector Shield around the Jedi Temple itself. The Jedi are settling in for the long haul, praying for resupply and reinforcements to help drive off the Crusaders, break the blockade, and force the invaders out of the Yavin System, while the Mandalorians are trying to find the quickest and easiest way to penetrate or disable the Shield Generator so they can attack the Temple directly and kill the Jedi within. Anything that occurred during the initial invasion can be referenced in flashbacks, such as personal duels and battles, combat losses, etc., etc. SO! With that in mind. Sign up for either being a part of the stranded Jedi Defenders (or their allies abroad trying to break them out of the blockade), or the Mandalorian Invaders. |

as for my ships/fleet: due to the unexpected jump farther into the system than the rest of the assault force, the entire fleet was lost, however they managed to deploy a fair number of their hot pods before they were destroyed. Which means that my entire army is starting scattered across the near side of the moon. Anything bigger than a heavy was lost, & a third of the force was either not deployed in time, shot down in route, or broke up in atmo.
Short version: all ships lost, lost the supreme-class vehicles, 2/3rds the army (mostly b1s with a small scattering of b2s & fewer than a dozen IG-100s) is scattered in smallish groups over a fair chunk of Y4. (to be picked off by various Jedi & to help make the situation more threatening).

Duke: He was the one blowing the EMP, and here is the twist. he was planning to get his small squad through the planetary shield before it closed around the moon along with all the rest of the escape pods, thus getting some mando boots down onto the planet. If thats cool with you all. That would mean 3-4 Sup'commandoes ambushing search and rescue teams, taking their unifroms and gear and trying to infiltrate the place to disable the shield. He kinda plans to gain all the glory possible for himself, his squad and his near dead clan in a suecidal outburst of egoism. That was the plan at least.
Syla Ulfsdottir: She will enter the combat later, running the mando blockade a couple days or longer into the siege.
not sure showups:
Atia- Disguised as a mandalorian, she will try to get onto the mando train for war, and sabotage their efforts so they stay at killing jedi and sith and never start to think "Eh... vode... wasnt there like some forceling witches on some planet starting with a D?" of course, if its cool with all and so on and so forth.
Her sister might come too, with a small freighter and a couple Banshees also disguised.

Ash is in, obviously. I will be on Yavin when this starts up. I will have a couple flash backs to write concerning the hit on the Station. Dav, you were on Station were you not? If so I may use you in one or two of them.
I am assuming Corr will be with me on the ground, and I plan on meeting up with Duke as I enjoy writing the fights with Nan. They always turn out hilarious.
Inks will be there, as this is his death war. Ashrah will be doing the Killing, and the backlash against him and the Mando's there-in will be an ongoing thing in Ash's SL after the Yavin fight when we move on to the rest of the Galaxy. I will be working closely with Adi on that, and some of Inks old homies on the Dark Side of things. Should be fun.

Rob, I'd be honoured to make some appearances. I'll write up a rough summary of what I was planning for Dav for you so you can work it in. You also had my Starfighter Squadron - the Bohemians, led by one of my main NPCs - chasing you down, so I was wondering if you wouldn't mind if I reversed that arrangement with her?
Nandino, I still want to flashback to firstly your fight with my NPC major, and secondly, Dav's fight with your big scary gal. Because they both excited me big-time. And as for Syla - Might have use for you in that. Can we discuss it at some point once I've checked in with some people?

Well, I was thinking of... I dunno how to describe it. But basically, write it as we would have written it, only without having to worry about the stuff before they start fighting; I.E. showing them getting where they were going.

The Mandalorian Siege of Yavin IV begins, and the Mandalorian Holy War is reignited on new JvS. First of all: The following OOC thread has been created. Can everyone make sure they have read and understood the first post before partaking in the RP. Mandalorian Siege OOC ThreadSecondly, the main IC narrative, outlining the conclusion of the battle lost to the great crash of 1.5, as agreed by the leaders of both sides of the battle, are outlined in the following post. A little late considering when all these other posts went up, but I'd like to be assisting the Jedi/their troops behind the lines inside the Temple. If the Med-Center is going to be use for a while, (and since Levi isn't permanently assigned to the Temple (yet) ) if there's a place a field hospital would make sense, I'll set up camp there.
