Are you factoring in jump times in all this? I mean, I don't think Ryloth is that far a jump but bear in mind hyperspace travel isn't instant. Just sayin...

You have Mike on Ryloth...he could have slipped out on another ship. Alky told me Ryloth was before Yavin... that lying rat.

Doesn't matter, Andi, all that matters is figuring out if they're on or off world. For a little while, they're stuck with their choice, as the first blockade run is going to be a noisy and unsubtle affair, about four or five days in, and is reserved for Ronan.

It does matter, dude. Can't realistically have people jetting off to Csilla for example and then arriving back in the Yavin System to run the blockade and hour later. I know that we don't always pay attention to jump times but a bit of realism here would keep things from being ridiculous. Otherwise we could end up with split timelines, or at least some eyebrow raising inconsistencies.
Unless you mean it doesn't matter due to the four or five days grace you mentioned? If that's the case then yeah but my point still stands. It was more a reminder than a specific occurrence. I'm pretty sure Ryloth is a quick, few hour jump from Yavin anyway.

Also, what is the purpose to the Mando communications chip Dia has? I vaguely recall that Puck was going to get one but I forget what for, or what he'd be able to do with it. Just so we're on the same page.

Corr, Mike was on the evac with the Watch. He wasn't on Yavin when he was on Ryloth. You have to remember, we all had to re-establish ourselves here on JvS, and the fallout of -that- part is that some of us arent on Yavin during the siege. We weren't saying -anything- about an instant jump bro....where are you getting that? The com chip is merely a story angle we can use later. This was all cleared through Rob long ago. It would be something we could use in the later stages of the battle or something, Idk the real reason honestly.

Adi.... "Thank you for nothing you useless reptile." I don't think you said anything that hasn't been said, and you missed that Andi wasn't criticizing that particular instance. He was merely raising a relevant point for the RP. If I can leave Geonosis and arrive at Yavin within half an hour, that really puts Yavin in a bit of a crimp, as Geonosis is capable constantly building more war machines to be transported, and used, as needed by the mando commanders. (Which would give them an effectively limitless supply of outdated, but cheap and still lethal, expendable war toys. Not even Jetisii can hold out forever against a never ending horde.) {Note: Foundries are currently abandoned and in need of rebuilding, limitless cannon fodder not available, yet.} He wanted to bring up this possible inconsistency in the SL before it became a problem. Hopefully everyone will keep travel times in mind, perhaps someone could set up a guideline for reasonable travel times between regions, using the hyperdrive class as a multiplier for the actual travel time. (ie: Core>Deep Core takes 2 days. A class 2 hyper drive, would require 4 days, while the Millennium Falcon, class 0.5 hyperdrive, could make the trip in one day.) That should help keep the SL form becoming to jumbled up, I think...

What?
Sighs at the confusion.
Mike was on Yavin checking the shield generator while the station was being taken, right? So I assumed that he left in the very small window before the blockade was set up.
As stated above, I didn't say that you'd jumped instantly, just that if people are going to be writing that they left in the mentioned window, and are returning to run the blockade, bear in mind the time it takes to travel. If its going to be a few days IC then that's no problem. It was just a point that I wish I hadn't made now. lol

LOL, totally misunderstood what you meant. My bad. I was just curious about the relevance of said subject.
Carry on. Nothing to see here but a stupid Arkanian.

Again I thought Ryloth was before Yavin, or at least that's what Alkor had me believing, but since that appears not to be the case I guess I left my baby (my ship) on Yavin and ran out with the rest of you lot.

Andi, different Mikes.
Mike Frantz is leaving the before the blockade is established. However long that takes him probably doesn't bear worrying about, because he's not returning for a while. Ryloth to Yavin is a non-issue here what-so-ever, because they're probably on slightly separated timelines anyway.
Mike Sloger, Ronan, will be running the blockade nearly a week after it is established. He is not on Yavin at the time of the attack - he's a fifth of the Galaxy away.
That said, everyone everywhere, travel times ARE something that needs accounting for. Certain canon sources make a journey from, say, Hoth to Coruscant (as an example) weeks long (To be precise, X-Wing Alliance). Expect to expend at least a few days to travel great distances, such as from, to use the earlier example, Geonosis to Yavin.
Mike, I promise we'll look after your ship. She won't get a scratch.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! lol. I see the confusion.
Also, will Joshua be waiting for Ronan to run the first then? It was my impression that Joshua be running it early on and, if Aaron is still keen, getting captured as we discussed. Its possible Joshua would hook up with Ronan, if Adi is working with Ronan then he's sent someone to look for Josh. Ro and Josh play nice IC after all. The Dressel RP is ready to be merged with whatever and we can crack on with that.

I sent one of our new players, Desmond Heart, after Josh and Syla on Dressel. Idk if he's gonna do it or not, but....I have a contingency plan if need be. No worries. Ronan was at the top of that contingency list, LOL

Could be that Ronan joins the run, perhaps in a fighter or something, therefore explaining why he is captured separate from Ronan - he could be captured in the process of giving Ronan and his boat full of supplies and personnel the through route to the planet.
The other interpretation is that we can rephrase it that Ronan's run is the first successful run on the blockade, with Josh trying before then and failing.

You know, Dav... Those EXACT two possibilities were in my mind too. I like the one where Joshua heroically takes the hit so Ro could get through with the ball.

Seems like a very "Josh" thing to do, lol.
Request is up for the Blueleaf Temple, so, once that goes through, I'm thinking we're all good to get a move on? Maybe? Sorta? Kinda? Possibly?

A noisy and unsubtle affair? You know me so well. Now I just have to come up with a ship for it. Because believe me, much as I would like it, I can't run a blockade in a Star Destroyer.

Well ... You could. That would make it even noisier. And more unsubtle.

I haven't even got a ship for it. StealthX is on Algara II and Slya's LEGO has just crashed on Dressel. Ah well. I've still got my surfboard...

I'm sure Ronan can lend Josh an X-Wing. Preferably not one of my nice expensive XJ9Ds if you're only going to get it captured.
