Coruscant, also known as Imperial Center or the Queen of the Core, was a planet located in the Galactic Core.

And in a flash of light, a small personnel transport materialized coming from the the East side of the Outer Rim. After plotting an intercept course into the edge of the Parlemian Trade Route, the small transport bearing the public works emblems of the Republic and sub transport department of Honoghr finally reaches open orbit. Under normal circumstances this public transportation craft would have had to join to general traffic and deal with customs and importation that was Coruscant Orbital; but this freighter was specifically chartered for two special passengers. Distinguished members of the Jedi Watch team en route to the Jedi High Council. The transmitted clearance codes that confirmed thussly, and the small freighter bypassed orbital traffic heading straight down to the Jedi Temple, the bastion of the Jedi Order-- and home office to the Jedi High Council. . .

A white A-wing with two thick red stripes drops out of hyperspace. It had been a long time since Devlin had piloted this ship or flown alone. Fijisi wood filled the cockpit with its delicate, warm, woody aroma. It smelled like Cardooine. It smelled like home.
Within the cockpit, Devlin blinks as the stars revert. He stares at the planet below.
"...Coruscant. I was hoping to avoid cities; much less city-planets."
With a sigh, the Cardooinian Jedi thumbs his comm.
"This is Master Devlin Dewe, arriving from Ossus, seeking permission and landing coordinates for the Jedi Temple."
Greetings, Master Dewe. You're code authentication matches. Sending coordinates. Have a wonderful day.
Devlin quickly flies his starfighter toward the planet's surface.

*A Horizon-class yacht appeared in Coruscant's orbit. After some tedious navigation of the skylanes and communicating with the Jedi Temple to clear a descent, it made its way down to the planet's surface, towards the structure.*

A trim, green and white Corellian Tracer sliced through the half-lit sky, shining brightly as it caught the rays of the Coruscant system's Prime star. The sleek starfighter banked slightly, braking gently as it slowed from hyperspeed and approached the planet. Within the cockpit bubble, the Jedi stirred from his meditation trace as the proximity alarm sounded, and was quickly joined in a duet by a stream of binary chatter from the Corellian's faithful astromech, Sev. Kel cracked a grin. "It's alright, Sev. I'm awake. Now let's see if the boys planet-side are. I'm sure we're already late."
Adjusting the microphone headset built into his flight helmet, the Jedi pilot selected a standard Republic traffic control channel. Coruscant control, this is Jedi Master Kel'Al Raganella requesting landing clearance for the Jedi Temple. He identified himself. The process did not take long, and moments later, his hands were once more gripping the controls tightly as he eased the starfighter down, down, through a sea of traffic and toward the spires of the Temple far below.

A ship appeared, but not from hyperspace. It was shortly after he left the illuminating wormhole threw space and entered the Coruscanti system. To anyone, such activity would seem hostile. Though he was merely taking safety percussions, just imagine being under for eight hundred years and waking up to discover the Yuuzhan Vong have taken over the galaxy. So far, as he observed, everything seemed quite normal. Arc went with a feeling and continued down into the atmosphere of the planet Coruscant.

A ship raced up into orbit coming from the Jedi temple. He was being chased by two jedi star fighters before they chased him out of the system and returned to Coruscant, not long afterwards Arc would enter hyperspace.

=Rachael Lurov= ..1.
*And right on count the Midnight Shadow dropped out of hyperspace into Coruscant's orbit. Connie had as always done a wonderful job fixing up the heavily modified boat, which was no simple task considering the shape she was in when Tobias crashed her on Carida, but now she was alive and well, risen from the dead and returned to all her former glory, and all thanks to the wiry Nagai Adrien had come to call his little sis. The one bright light in all this mess, he still had Connie just as she always was.
In the cockpit Rachael was beginning her landing procedures and the black and grey Wayfarer began making its way down toward the planet. Of course with a ship this size it seemed silly to ask permission to land, especially with the high volume of traffic around the city-world.
The decent toward the planet was a quiet one, no one on board spoke to one another, nor did they move much from where they had been standing. Instead they waited by the airlock for when the ship landed, the quicker they could pick up their package and leave the better.

Without as much as a word from the pilot, the blue and white Arkanian A-2 Dragon made its way into orbit, and found the hyperspace lanes. In a flash of light, it streaked away, leaving only a light ion trail from the planet to the hyperspace lane as it streaked away.

Moments after the Dragoon passed by, Ak-Akari piloted his new X-83 through the same pathways. Keeping silent on the comms he keyed in the predesignated flight path and sat back for what promised to be a boring flight compared to his old freighter ship. all things considered though, he hoped he would be doing more good when he arrived than he had in the past, so a change of scenery could be helpful.
By the time the ship jumped to hyperspace, Ak-Akari was settling down for a good nap.

*Rising up into the darkness of space for what seemed to be the first time in a very long time I piloted the A24 sleuth into the blanket of space and proceeded to break free of planetary orbit and the gravitational pull of gravity.
I slotted the data stick into the console and swiveled the chair to view the read out, I then began to input the coordinates into the nav-computer so In a matter of minutes I could make the jump to lightspeed. A few minutes passed as the A24 continued on auto pilot pulling away from the bright orb of Coruscant; Carride, I frowned and then shrugged. It was not a world I was overly familiar with, it lay somewhere within the Colonies if memory served correctly.
The coordinates plotted it was time to jump, with that I pushed forward on the lever and the blackness of space became a whirling of rushing stars as the craft jumped to lightspeed.*

No more then an hour after the trio of small transports carrying three of the finest Watchmen the Order has to offer with their destination being Carida, a Corellian made YT-1760 bearing the Jedi Order's insignia breaks Coruscant's atmosphere. Jedi Master Will Son'tir intends to make a pit stop to pick up Joshua Kierra-Solo, who will prove to be a valuable asset in the success for run against the Manadalorians, on Algara II. But as he was plotting a course for the Mid Rim, a panel behind the pilot's chime beeps; Will cocks an eyebrow as he swivels the pilot's chair to view the information that the panel was alarming him of.
On his way up from the Temple Hangar, Son'tir slaved that panel to his secure holotransmitter that connected him with Republic intelligence; he gave the Republic's logistics and intelligence hub to alert him of any Mandalorian activity across Republic space. Aside from the few obvious encounters at Serenno, and the blockade currently at Yavin IV, all has been quiet on the Mando'a front. . .until now.
A small skirmish with a small Mandalorian detachment of fighters, Dressel militia clashed and repelled them. This was of small significance, militaristically; the Mandalorians are testing the militaristic strength and endurance of the Rep. . .
But wait. That's not the purpose of Mando'a's crusade-- it was against the jettii-- jedi. Will meant the Jedi. Will's already furrowed brow goes deeper as he shakes off the Mandoade tongue from his mind and focusses on the Living Force. If the Mandalorians skirmished over Dressel, it is because a Jedi was there. A Jedi who may be of tactical use. . . like the tactical information that Knight Kierra-Solo had given.
Will takes a calming breath and closes his eyes to focus on the Living Force. The Force now tells Master Son'tir that the Jedi Will is looking for would now be on Dressel, and probably not alone. Will exhales and opens his eyes to begin recalculating the course needed to make a successful jump to Dressel; luckily, Dressel was near Algara II in the Mid Rim of the known galaxy, so not much needed to be adjusted.
This Kid better be worth it, Will thought to himself as he used his full hand to bring the hyperdrive controls fully engaged. The stars stretched before the Corellian Jedi Master's piercing blue eyes as the small transport went into hyperspeed on its way to Dressel. . . .

At the end of the Correlian Run Hyper lane, a small task force arrives, it consists of two Ardent-class frigates and a single Victory II-class star destroyer. The ships form a broad wedge shape, all facing the Coruscant system, and begin scanning the system's defenses. The ships' sublight engines are idling, their shields are at full strength, their weapons are are on standby, and they make no attempt to hail or jam planetary or intrasystem communications. They seem content to observe from outside weapons range of most defenses, for now.

He said with a little snicker before adding, " How about, you show me around? You can play tour guide." Ginrei asked Aruda, his eyes narrowing just a little bit.

The Republic shuttle pilots consulted navigation records and calculated the new location of the Hammerhead Class Cruiser, The Defiant. the pilots had to take into account the rotation of the planet as well as the ship's own velocity needed to prevent it from being sucked to the planet's surface via gravity... The small navigation screen displayed a series of triangular dots, showing the atmospheric maneuvers that would have to be made to catch up with the cruiser in orbit. Two pilots were experienced, they had fought in the Mandalorians Wars and now most recently in the war against Revan and Malak, they had only met a few months ago during the defense of Fondor, when the two were paired to fly gunships loaded with wardroids. Since then the Human pilot Frix Nadine and the Nikto pilot Trexl Tumb had become fast friends. "Well this isn't anything as exiting as dodging sith interceptors." remarked Trexl dryly as he lazily doged a sky-bus and angled them up towards the clouds.
Frix smiled and after checking their shields responded "Well now, let's not jinx it a hard bolt of lightning could leave us fried and spinning to an early grave."
"An early grave was our first time fighting the mandos, anything after that is old age for us." Both soldiers begin laughing, using dry humor, even dark humor to lessen the oppressive thoughts of death and loss from their weary minds.
Back in the passenger compartment the soldiers and jedi sat in an uncomfortable silence. The soldiers eyed the jedi warily, all the awe and respect that the knights had received on the battlefield was now replaced with suspicion at being dragged away from their posts, taking a warship from the already outnumbered fleet and given a set of coordinates that would put them behind enemy lines...
The ship rumbled as they flew through the storm, the pressure changes and winds buffeted the craft but they were safe inside. The noise and jerking reminded Alaric of one of the dealier insertions he had participated in... His gunship had been flowing low over the fields of some un-named world, contested and fought over simply because the sith were there... The flak, and explosions had rocked his vessel, but by the will of the force or by sheer luck, Alaric was not so naive as to disprove luck, his gunship touched down safely while dozens of others became balls of fire in the clear sky, or became fiery scuff marks on the grassland...
The sergeant who had spoken before finally spoke. "So jedi." Roblio frowned and the the other guardians shuffled in their seat, the lack of respect and the tone unnerved them "What's this mission that's so secret... Last time I heard about a single ship going into sith space it was called The Endar Spire... that had jedi on it too, hell it had Bastilla Shan and Carth Onasi on it, but that didn't stop them from being blasted to oblivion. Way we hear it there weren't any survivors. So why are we re-enacting that?"
The jedi could feel the fear laced within his words, the anger came from fear, the fear of death and the knowledge that they were knowingly going into a deadly situation. The recent loss of Bastilla's team had been unfortunate loss but their mission had the potential to make up the loss...If she and the legendary Carth Onasi were truly dead... Alaric figured it would take a lot more to kill those sorts of heroes.*
"We are on a mission to find the source of Revan and now Malak's evil... The Sith and their followers had been gone for decades, Exar Kun was not of the same breed as these men are... We will find where they found this new knowledge and we will snuff it out. If all goes according to plan or if it all falls apart yet we miraculously manage to scrape by with a mission accomplished we might be able to destroy the corruption that had turned so many jedi and loyal soldiers against their Republic and their brothers." Jason spoke simply and eloquently with his eyes closed, the idyllic image of the serene jedi. Though his words were not amplified by the force, you could feel the sense of peace radiating off of him. The Sergeant looked at him a moment longer then went back to staring at the floor in silence.
:: No doubt you all saw this on the way in, but sometimes you just got to appreciate the Vanjervalis Chain. Out your viewpoints you can see the power of the Republic Navy that the Sith have yet to taste. ::
Alaric looked at the viewscreen and stared at The Republic Navy 3rd fleet, an entire fleet devoted to the protection of the Galactic Capital... Coruscant was so much more than a single massive city, it was a symbol and was invaluable to the continued war effort. As long as we held Coruscant we held the Republic.
:: We're coming up to the Defiant, prepare for docking... ::
As the shuttle approached the warship it's pilots began landing procedures which consisted of a deceleration of the ship and the raising of the ship's wings to a locked upward facing position which made it much easider to store. The Cruiser assisted the landing by gripping the shuttle within it's tractor beams and guiding the shuttle to it's berth within the warship's crowded hangar. Unlike the Jedi Temple, inside this hangar starfighters were almost stacked upon one another and dozens of mechanics, engineers and technicians ran back and forth with refueling hoses and hydrspanners.
"Another happy landing." Said Trexle as he released his grip on the yoke.
Frix smirked "At least we didn't catch any fuel on fire..."
"That was not our fault, the hangar crew shouldn't have spilled it everywhere." Replied Trexl as he engaged the boarding ramp release. With a hiss, the ramp lowered to the durasteel deck of the hangar...
Back in the passenger compartment the jedi and troopers unstrapped themselves and gathered whatever belonging they had before marching down the ramp. The soldiers quickly seperated themselves and melded into the crowd of other uniformed men within the hangar... The jedi in their blue and red robes made their way through the hangar, heading towards the bridge...
