A high priority message is broadcast through secure military channels to all Imperial fleets in the system.Attention all fleets, this is Grand Admiral Dodonna. As I am sure you are now aware, the planet Prakith, a planet only recently brought into the Imperial fold, is under attack by an unknown force. All available fleets are to report to the following coordinates and prepare for a counter assault.Short, sweet, and to the point. The transmission ends as soon as it begins.

An unmarked shuttle exited hyperspace near the planet and entered a standard orbit. Inside Admiral Tza'uax sat, waiting. He had been waiting for a long time, trips to the Deep Core were dull. However he was finally here, the place which would hopefully be able to replenish his forces. He opened a channel to the planet below as the ship orbited slowly.
::Khomm orbital control, this is Tza'uax, I would like to conduct a business negotiation with regards to clones. I would like to place a large order and would like to discuss this privately.::

A nasely sounding voice could be heard coming over the speakers. The speaker was obviously an older woman that was neither friendly yet hostile. Of course make your way to the given coordinates. Be advised that straying from the path will make the Imperials very upset and may lead to your termination. A few moments later a path was given to the driver with the place where they should land

Those Imperials and their rules, well he was here to do business with them, not piss them off. Tza plotted the course and let the ship's auto-pilot do the rest, the Falleen was not a pilot.
::Roger that control, proceeding with descent.::
The shuttle shook slightly on approach, as if nervous to enter the atmosphere. Tza had been assured that she would make it, he couldn't wait to be back on a ship that exceeded 500 metres in length, that is where he was most at home.

A Nebulon-B frigate returns to real space at the edge of Khomm's gravity well, with its shields raised. Shortly after exiting hyperspace it hails the planet, even as it begins scanning the world's defenses, or lack there of. It currently offered no threat to ships around it or the planet below, but it didn't exactly bear any amount good will either. It's fighters remain on low alert and it's wepons are powered down, as befitting a normal arrival to a neutral system.
Citizens of Khomm, this is Devnar Efriet, loyal son of the Empire. I come to evaluate your need, as many planets in the empire are in dire need of resources due the economic fallout of recent months past. Do you require assistance, if so what kind do you need most? I will do what I can to see that you get aid as soon as possible, this I swear by the soul of Palpatine.

From the azure depths of hyperspace, came a flotilla of antiquated warships proudly bearing the sigil of the Confederacy of Independent Systems from their signalling masts. They had been waiting in the darkness of the void between worlds, waiting as they were programmed too, for the clarion call to be sounded. As their new master had depressed the stud adorning the tip of their beckon-call, the slave driven vessels had awoken from their eon long slumber to fight one more. Ion engines ignited to life once more, as the chained power of a star at the heart of each warship flooded into the mechanical veins of the vessel. Their shields flickered to life, alongside the barely constrained rumble of their weapons, proving that even though time had been their greatest foe – artificial life could thrive where those bound to organic matter – could not.
When the jump to Khomm was made, more than a dozen warships bearing the title of battleship spearheaded their blind advance into the sector. Three of these vessels bore the sensorium output of a Lucrehulk, with one of these crescent craft bearing more significance than the others. The reasons behind this were because of the simple notions of it being a Droid Command Ship, thus the communications output from the craft would be noticeable upon first glance – but what droids this vessel controlled would be a harder mystery to unravel. Behind these three massive battleships, came Five Providence-class Destroyers filled to the brim with automated droids manning each and every one of the critical systems. Acting as escort to the Dreadnought-class Command Ships, were Ten Recusant-Class Light Destroyers. Alone, these eighteen ships would prove to be more than a match for anything the Imperial Armada could send into the depths of the core, but as if these Separatists had known that the former incarnation of the Galactic Republic would one day birth a superpower known to us all as the Galactic Empire, two dozen Munificent-class Star Frigates belated arrived into the sector.
It was a taskforce that could demolish sector spanning governments, or ensure that the galaxy was brought to the pivotal point of enlightenment – the latter being the Goal of this armada’s new master. With this Confederate taskforce in his clutches, the fortification of this world had begun in earnest…

The Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Jayanti - bearing troops, vehicles, and supplies bound for Muunilinst - breaks from Khomm's orbit, increasing speed as it adjusts its heading to bring it on course to make the jump to hyperspace, were it will travel along the Braxant Run to reach its destination.
Inside the Star Destroyer's hangar, 1Lt Nicolina Foresi meets with her platoon leaders to coordinate their actions and ensure that the platoon is ready to be deployed once they have reached their destination. As Nicolina and her troops stow their weapons and gear in preparation of heading for their quarters for the duration of their journey to the Outer Rim, the Venator winks from view, exiting realspace to begin its trip through hyperspace.

A small communications shuttle - a non-descript shuttle of little known class or model, but composed essentially of antenna and transceivers - dropped out of hyperspace with an actinic blue flash, into Khomm's space. A unimpressive world, the world was of little use to the Quincy beyond the fact it was located in the Deep Core. It's small crew primed communications equipment, cycling through several standard bands - their communications officers double checking the ships systems before giving the go-ahead to their superior officers. "This is the communications shuttle COMS1 to local space and authorities - we are conducting a communications test, and have no interest or further business in your system. Please tolerate our presence, and we shall leave as quickly as possible. Thank you." After waiting an appropriate amount of time for responses - co-ordinating with local authorities and other entities, the ship began its operations.
The ship began its operations as set out by the Quincy Directorate, broadcasting a high frequency communication pulse along Subspace and holonet bands. The entire process took roughly three hours - cycling the same pulse along each band at three hundred bands every tenth of a second - broadcasting across the entirety of the comm bandwidth in three three hours. When the ship was done, it oriented briefly, and, as silently as it came, it left.

The Libero exited hyperspace near Khomm. It's IFF details showed a general transport/cargo ship from Coruscant. The speaker sprang to life next to Johun.
We have arrived at Khomm sir.
Excellent Lieutenant. Begin to passively scan the space around us.

The Jedi Knight's eyes sprung open as the speaker activated, and Kay'li ran a hand across her face, then blinked twice, clearing the sleep from her eyes. Taking a deep breath, she opened herself to the Force, stretching outward from the Libero and slowly expanding her senses. She closed her eyes once more, but this time for focus, not rest.
Already she could sense the planet and its inhabitants. They were the largest presence in the system, although something about them felt strange. But what she really cared about was not the planet itself. It was anyone tainted with the darkside, whether in orbit or hidden elsewhere in the system.

Johun felt Kay'li reach out with the Force, as he was also. Nothing seemed out of place though. He activated the comm to the cockpit.
Lt. Trado, what are the passive sensors picking up?
Nothing sir. No space traffic at all. It is a bit unusual.

After a long pause, which to Kay'li might well have been an hour, or only a minute, she opened her eyes and glanced at Johun.
"It's far too quiet here. I can sense thousands of people going through the motions of daily life down on the planet, but there seems to be no military presence."
Her gaze shifted to one of the viewports. "Either the Imperials are gone, or ... they're going to extraordinary lengths to hide something important."

Johun pondered Kay'li's words.
The people of Khomm are notorious in their resistance to change. They reached, what they believe, to be their peak. The technology and everyday comings and goings haven't changed for thousands of years. It seems as though, this is still the case. You would think that, something as traumatic as an invasion and occupation by the Empire, would be disruptive enough for us to sense it.
Johun thought some more after he spoke.
Khomm may not hold the answers we seek.

"I agree." She replied, after a moment's hesitation. "I can sense the almost-robotic daily life on Khomm. It feels strangely stagnant, as if nothing has changed for a long time. The patrol that the Duros Admiral encountered was probably not headquartered here."
Taking out her datapad, she scanned a map of the Deep Core for a brief instant, although she already knew the starchart very well from memory. Her eyes traced the path from Khomm to Byss to Prakith, and onward along the starchase that had been described. Some subtle nudging of the force drew her toward Prakith, although she was barely aware that is what had happened. "We are not far from Prakith, one of the next worlds Admiral Zhundilt mentioned. We could go take a look."

Johun turned and looked at the starchart Kay'li was looking at.
It is as good an option as any. We are out of any other leads.
Lt. Trado, set course for Prakith.
Aye, sir.
The Libero's hyperdrive powered up as the navicomputer made its calculations. Lt. Trado activated the hyperdrive was the navicomputer finished, and the Libero jumped to hyperspace.

Khoom's strategic importance to the armies of the First Order ensured that a strong fleet presence was always there. Though not like the more pristine facilities found on Arkania or Kamino, the Khommite cloning technology still helped give clones for quick replacements and other necessities. Most of these clones, however, found service under the Knights of Ren, who ruled this region of space for the First Order.

A group of Imperial Star Destroyers, escorting transports, hovered over Khomm as the Imperial Army came to collect the latest in their cloned soldiers. With the coming conflict, and the potential of freshly acquired territories, the legions of Stormtroopers and garrison troops would need able bodies to shore up any losses. Not to mention the vast quantity of seasoned and veteran units that were being redeployed to the new front that was to be opened any day now it seemed. Clones were good for that; shoring up numbers, plugging holes, and ensuring there was a reserve. Of course, the Ren got their necessary cut with this recent batch. From the plans that were unveiled, they would be ordered to participate and deploy their own forces to the upcoming war.
