Ren'Xing was untrusting, but so many of their kind were. She was one of the few who survived their apprenticeships and went her own separate ways from her Master. It was unheard of in their world. In Ancient Times, or so it was told, there were only two at a time: master and apprentice. But quickly, they realized several of their more complicated rituals were too complicated for one person to handle. The ways of the alchemists of the Sith were secretive. Dragus was some sort of oddity to her for going around explaining who and what he was. Many of their kind considered alchemical work to be profane, even by their standards. Still, she said nothing as she followed Dragus into the waiting maw of the ship to take them away.
"We should move quickly. I don't know how long it will take for Captain FN-505 to realize that I am gone. Their kind could... delay us."
Her hollow footfalls could be heard as she walked across the threshold of his ship. For an alchemist, his ship seemed too ordinary, too mundane. She wasn't sure what to expect, but she was partly expecting to see some sort of hint to indicate his area of focus. She wondered how skilled he was. So many of their kind studied different forms of the alchemical arts that it was always intriguing to her whenever she found another of their kind. The ship blasted off as soon as the pair entered the ship.
Ren quickly found a seat in a nearby alcove and sat down. She slung the wrapped package on her back in front of her between her knees. The canvas wrapping loosened a bit from the package. It was some sort of statue of two female figures with their arms folded in front of them in prayer, their backs were touching each other while a pair of large, angel-like wings enveloped the pair. It was a strange contraption for one of her kind to carry, yet rested it against her while she leaned against it to rest her head.
"Where are we going? What can you tell me about this Supreme One?”
Her questions were many. She had her suspicions about this so-called Supreme One.

"We should move quickly. I don't know how long it will take for Captain FN-505 to realize that I am gone. Their kind could... delay us." "I wouldn't worry about that." Hissed the Dark Apothecary as he seated himself across the hold from Ren, his mismatched eyes equally luminous in the dim lighting of the lower cargo deck. The black scaled barabel's sinister smile of serrated teeth gleamed whitely as his snout stretched unnaturally wide. "They have more presssing matterz to concern themselvez with. Siss, Siss, Siss!" The hold filled with wicked rasping laughter as the fiendish Famine Lord tapped his saber-cane on the deck twice in rapid succession, signalling Squeakers in the cockpit to broadcast the Holo-News over the internal speaker system. As the static cleared, overlapping reports of conflict erupting all across the planet was playing out for the listener. Coruscant was in the midst of a coup. Though he sorely wished they could stay to see how it all played out, his schedule was rather full. They listened to it all unfold as the Bad Bantha headed into orbit. The action continues here in Coruscant's orbit.

Belle Époque Cabal
As orders came down the lines of command declaring Baltasar Delvardus as the true Heir to the Throne, a great myriad of responses occurred. Those of older age that had served with Baltasar over the years felt some comfort that he had made a claim to the Throne. For them, Octavian had seemed a much too young a choice, filled with adolescence and consumed by the arrogance of the power he purported to wield. Despite seeing the Ren and Imperial Knights in action, some still mocked and doubted the existence of the Force. Those whom claimed to wield it were little more than mentally deranged killers. Useful in a war, but far too dangerous to lead a nation. For those who did trust in the Force though, there was the matter of the boy's lineage. The Knights of Ren were a dark and sinister cult, and it had been a dark stain upon the Empire's record when one had seduced the Emperor into declaring her the Empress. Bad blood flowed through the boys veins, corrupting him to the Ren's dark designs.
Others were far more ambivalent about the whole affair and would follow the orders handed down to them by a commander they had served under for years that they knew. True enough Octavian had been declared Emperor but simple edict that he was his Father's Heir. But for them, they hardly knew the boy. Baltasar on the other hand? He was a seasoned commander they had fought and bled alongside. He'd been Nicademus' right hand man from before the birth of the Empire. Octavian had merely benefitted from being born to the right people. He had perhaps earned his stripes over the years, but Baltasar had the much more storied career.
The third and final group of reactions, were those whom remained loyal to Octavian. Just because the Emperor was away from Coruscant, did not make him any less the Emperor and Baltasar's actions were treasonous. Emperor Nicademus had made his will clear, Octavian was the successor to the Throne. None would convince them otherwise unless Octavian appeared and abdicated his Throne. Until then, they would deal with these traitors. What this meant for some, was a summary execution for their Officers whom fell into the camp of Baltasar Partisans and had convinced those below them to fall in line. But others seemed to have a tight lock on their Legions and lines of Command and thus fighting broke out across Coruscant as the greater force of Partisans dealt with the Loyalists
With the chaos erupting across the planet, the black painted TIE/es Assault Shuttle passed by relatively unnoticed and unchallenged. Within, the second platoon of Rancor Brigade went through their final checks on approach to a Barracks building. Whereas the first platoon had been tasked with infiltrating the Palace, the second platoon merely had to infiltrate a Barracks where Amaris Delvardus was currently posted.
As soon as the Assault Shuttle touched down, the members of Rancor Brigade spilled out and down into the building, their guns held at the ready. Stun shots flew out at the Stormtroopers on duty, with RB-41 deciding it was a wasted effort trying to provide their cover story to them. Gas Grenades and Flashbangs were deployed liberally to clear out their way before kicking down the door into Amaris' dormitory. They wasted little time firing stun shots, hitting the beds to expedite their timeline. Once they were sure the room was hit, they ran their search, checking each person's ID before locating the Grand Marshal's daughter. RB-42 slung his weapon across his back before collecting Amaris in his arms.
With their precious cargo collected, Rancor Brigade quickly ex-filled back through the building and up to the roof. The Assault Shuttle was quickly taking off again even as the loading ramp was still retracting. RB-41 checked in and confirmed that their first target had been acquired and were inbound to the black site

Belle Époque Cabal - BlacksiteAs each target had been collected, the TIE/es Assault Shuttles had flown across the city out to a section of the works where an abandoned factory had once stood empty. But in recent years it had been brought up through subsidiaries and shell companies and set up for use by the Cabal. Now, it stood as a base for Rancor Battalion, but also as a holding site for Yvaine Delvardus , Jin Song , and Amaris Delvardus. Their three captives were given stun bracelets before being delivered into a single room which had three beds set up and had been hardened to prevent escape by Force Sensitives from within. Round the clock watches and several security system fail safes were setup to dissuade escape attempts.
Myria Horne sat, watching over their guests as their cuffs came online ready to deliver paralysing shock in the event any of them tried to escape or cause trouble, whilst also overseeing the uprising and reclamation of the Throne

Jin woke with a start. She had been struggling to wake up ever since the landing platform, even remembering vague things about the inbetween: She had been picked up and carried, the scream of Twin Ion Engines, and some unintelligible chatter though helmet coms. Her head still throbbing as she looks around the holding cell. Sithspit. Jin curses to herself. Then she notices the other two. Jin moves first to Yvaine and checks her. Still unconscious, but stable. Next she moved to check on Amaris, who she had had very little interaction with, even when living at the palace for a few years. Amaris, also fine. After confirming everyone's health, the Tribune Knight looked between them puzzled. If all three of them were being detained, then who was leading this coup? Had Octavian actually gone insane? Or was someone playing 3D Holochess with them? Jin sat down on the bed next to Yvaine and kept an eye on the door, ready to stand between anyone who came in and the youngest Delvardus.

Yvaine's dreams have always been literal, as though her logical and organized mind was incapable of allowing the chaotic, nonsensical play she has read is far more common in dreams other than her own, and so before she wakes she dreams of gas seeping beneath a door and strobe-like flashes of light flickering as they pierce through the rising fog in her room and strike her to bring darkness upon her before the dream, as though on a loop, begins again, over and over until she wakes with a gasp.
Sitting up on the bed in an unfamiliar room slowly as she struggles to rise to full wakefullness, Yvaine's expression is almost comically surprised when she sees Jin sitting on the bed, visibly struggling to make sense of how her sister's girlfriend is there as she rolls to the side in an attempt to quickly gain her feet. The lingering effects of the gas and stun bolts make her roll a clumsy, coltish parody of the feline grace she exhibits normally, and after face planting on the floor Yvaine rises up unsteadily with one hand holding her bleeding nose as her head whips from side to side to take in her surroundings now that, the painful blow to her nose having yanked her to full alertness, she takes everything in with the rapidity her training as an Imperial Knight taught her. Three beds, one toilet, no exits, Jin and Amaris the only occupants, each with stun cuffs on their wrists.
Sitting down on the edge of the bed she tumbled off of, looking first up and then remembering to tilt her head forward as she holds her bleeding nose, her voice is somewhat nasal as Yvaine hisses an impressive stream of curses in Mando'a learned from the triplets Ime, Ige and Ife Bralor over the years spent visiting them on Agamar from time to time, "Shab! Haar'chak!! Shabuire!!! Shebs'palone!!! Once she has that out of her system, Yvaine looks over at Jin, then around at the room for any signs of cameras or obvious spots ideal for one way observation, before muttering, Rangir, and asking Jin in a stage whisper, Any idea what the f . . . shab is going on? The Palace, the color leaches out of her face as she thinks of her Mum and what her being captive suggests may have befallen Faina but still she continues speaking at a rapid clip, was under attack, they got past the Talons, past Voshkie and Nechama, Mum's personal guards, and gassed me, stunned me. How'd they get you? Has anyone said anything while I was out? Said what they want? Where's Fifi? Is she okay?"

Jin jumps slightly when she hears the 'thud' of a body hitting the floor next to her. She turns fully to face the now bleeding Yvaine. Her concern being suppressed for a moment by the string of swears coming from the usually well mannered princess. But then is yanked back to reality by the onslaught of questions. Allowing time for all of it to leave Yvaine's system, Jin starts to rip a portion of her sleeve off to help soak up some of the blood. Come here... The older woman checks the nose. Not broken, Jin remembered viviedly the time she had her nose broken by thugs in the Coruscant Underworld, when she met Fiora for the first time. As Jin rimenised she offered the cloth to the princess. And then sighed and prepared to answer the myriad of questions. I was coming to talk Octavian when I was caught up in a battle in orbit. Once I got to the Palace I could tell something wasn't right... So I crash landed my ship into an AA gun. I tried to fight my way off the landing pads, but there were too many... I was about to- never mind, doesn't matter now... Jin cut herself off, no need to mention that right now. Uh, no, I haven't seen or heard anyone. A knot formed in her stomach as she thought of her beloved. Fiora is safe... or at least she wasn't with me. The knot of worry worked its way up from her stomach to her throat. Jin fought not to break in front of Yvaine, but it was clear she was worried and feeling guilty. Are you okay? Do you know who these people are?

Yvaine moves over to Jin when she tells her to, hissing when her sister's girlfriend checks to see if her nose is broken. Accepting the cloth Jin offers her with a thanks, Yvaine uses it to hold her nose, still dribbling steadily, and then listens to her describe what had happened to her. Yvaine looks puzzled when Jin starts out by saying that she had been coming to see Octavian, but actually manages to keep herself from interrupting to ask why she had been, looking a little concerned when Jin starts to say something only to trail off and say it doesn't matter, and doesn't look very reassured at all when Jin follows up her assertion that Fifi is safe by adding a less than comforting wasn't with me accompanied by a decidedly worried look that suggests the Knight of Ren is more worried than she lets on.
Taking the cloth away from her nose, Yvaine licks the blood that starts dripping over her lips before she can get the cloth back in place, telling JIn with a nervous laugh and lousy attempt humor than is obviously born from anxiety, "I think I did more damage getting off the osik'al bed than the osi'kovide did capturing me, the skanahe! Hawking and then spitting a wad o bloody phlegm on the floor to emphasize her characterization of their captors as much as to get it out of her throat, Yvaine starts pacing around the perimeter of the room as she says, They were Stromtroopers, the jagyce! Shaking her head in frustration, trying to get her commingled anger and anxiety under control, Yvaine amends her statement, They were wearing Stormtrooper armor anyway," then sniffs and checks her nose cautiously, moving the cloth that is nearly soaked through enough to see it is still bleeding.
Giving Jin a wink, Yvaine thinks about her Mum, feeling the color go from her face again just as she planned, then asks Jin just a tiny bit louder than necessary in a shaky, worried sounding voice, "Should it still be bleeding like this? I feel kinda fain . . ." Yvaine rolls her eyes back up in her head and lets herself fall onto her side as though having fainted, earning herself a bruised shoulder and lump on her head to go with her bloody nose, but if anyone comes rushing in to check on her it will be worth it when she and Jin beat the living osik out of them in an attempt to escape . . .

Jin nods along, still fighting her worry down, as Yvaine describes her own attackers. Her own anxiety almost leads her to missing the subtle wink as the younger prisoner begins to exagurate their injuries. The Knight leaps to her feet and after crossing over briefly to check on Yvaine, as much to sell the bit as well to make sure her girlfriend's sister is actually alright. Next Jin has crossed to the door and is banging on it. HEY! Bang bang bang. YVAINE'S COLLAPSED IN HERE! HELP! Jin waits to hear someone coming to the door before backing away and getting ready for whatever mad scheme the youngest Delvardus has up their sleeve.

Amaris had slowly started to come to, having been asleep in her barracks when her attackers had set upon her. Thus the stun shock had taken a longer time to wear off Evvy?! She had not been privy to the pair's exchange of glances and so rushed to her cousin's side, genuinely concerned as she tried to examine the nose HELP! The outer shield on the door came down, before it slide open, allowing a single medic with a first aide kit entrance to the room. He dropped to his knees beside the youngest Delvardus and began an inspection, pulling out some cleaning saline bags to clear away the bloody mess and provide a clearer view
Myria watched on from her control room. She was sceptical this was an actual emergency and was honestly unsurprised they were making an escape attempt so soon. Still, she would let it play out for now. Rancor Battalion was stationed just outside the room throughout the warehouse sized space that the smaller room had been built within. There would be little space for them to take cover if they did make it out. But let them try, Myria mused to herself

Yvaine plays her part as the fainted Princess even when Amaris comes over and starts checking out her nose, still bleeding steadily, not moving despite the pain having her nose manipulated causes.
Only when the medic starts cleaning the blood and snot from her face does Yvaine break character, not opening her eyes at first as she whips her right leg up and then over with alacrity and precision to wrap around the medic's neck, pivoting her torso while her left leg shoots up to scissor the medic's neck between her shins and sliding her left elbow back to gain the leverage she needs to flip from her right to her left with the medic's neck snapping as she sends him sprawling onto his side.
Yvaine unwinds her shins and vaults onto her feet, grabbing Amaris' hand and tugging her along as she bolts for the open doors, trusting that Jin will not be far behind as she charges into the hall outside, gathering that their captors want them alive from the way the medic was sent in so quickly, which lets her know that their captors aren't likely to risk hurting them while, at least in so far as she and Jin are concerned, they won't have any such reservations . . .

Jin was right behind the pair, significantly impressed by Yvaine's abilities. Jin came out into the main room, spotting the nearest guard she focused her will and the Force on their weapon and yank it from their hands and to her own. A quick flick of the switch off stun, and she shot down the guard with his own blaster. Without Fiora here, Jin was ready to make the same sacrifice for her flesh and blood. Using the freshly acquired weapon, Jin would do her best to cover the two Delvardus. But that would be a tall order being in the open with Rancor Company looking right at them.

She'd moved quickly out of the way as the medic had come in, wanting to give them the necessary space required to attend to her cousin. She was still trying to work out what any of this was about, seeing as she'd gone to sleep in her barracks and woken up in this room with Yvaine and Fiora's Girlfriend, Jin. Thus she was a little taken aback when Evvy seemed to miraculously come to and killed the medic Evvy... what's going on... Before she could ask or say any more her hand was grabbed and she was stumbling after her cousin, trying to keep up. Her gaze taking note of the metal bands wrapped around hers and Yvaine's wrists. Something about them tugged at her mind
Sniper Nests existed in each of the four corners of the Warehouse, with 2 Snipers per Nest. This meant that any given wall was covered from both sides. But it also meant four snipers with their guns trained on the door. 4 energy bolts shot down at the ground just in front of the trio just as several floodlights flashed into existence, lighting up the large open expanse. A thick blue line ran a circle around the smaller structure, whilst just beyond it was gathered two firing lines of 12 Death Troopers, with the front line knelt down. Myria's voice then came over the loud speakers, tutting ah, ah, ah. I wouldn't move unless you want to end up face first on the ground again my dears... You may want to re-examine your lovely new jewellery around your wrists. While you're doing that, allow me to introduce myself, I am soon to be Grand Admiral Myria Horne. And you ladies, are my guests, held for your own safety and security whilst Emperor Baltasar Delvardus reclaims the Throne of the First Order. Now, put the gun down and back into your room...

Stopping and moving in front of Amaris when the quartet of energy bolts splash against the floor in front of them as they rush through the doors, Yvaine glances around and commits the layout of the area and positions of the enemy forces to memory, mentally calculating how quickly she could reach the Death Troopers arranged in firing lines to sow chaos in their midst and hinder the abilities of the snipers in the towers from getting a clean shot at her. Jin, Yvaine is fairly certain, would be able to back her play, but Amaris is a less certain factor in the equation, and the first hint of doubt begins to creep into her mind.
Major Horne's words, revealing that their cuffs are stun cuffs and then revealing that Baltasar is not only behind their captivity - unless that is disinformation meant to confuse them - but is also making a play for the throne, adds more strength to her doubts, and Yvaine looks down at the cuffs, clenching her fists as she realizes that no matter how fast she might be able to tear them off it would not be faster than Horne or whoever has the controls could trigger them. Game over, thinks Yvaine, muttering in Mando'a, "Shab, before telling Jin, Put it down, Jin," telepathically adding, We know what we're up against now, and if we can figure out a way to get these cuffs off we'll be better prepared next time.
Lifting both arms up and defiantly shooting twin birds to her captors, Yvaine backs up until she is inside their room, sweeping her hands down and then forward contemptuously and telekinetically sending the body of the medic tumbling out into the area beyond their room before turning and walking to her bed, sniffing as she wipes the dried blood from beneath her nose and sits down on the bed, her adrenaline starting to wear off now that she has accepted there won't be an easy way to escape from their captivity. As she starts feeling a bit calmer and her mind starts absorbing things rather than simply reacting instinctively, Yvaine lifts a hand to rub her temples as she realizes she has just killed for the first time, without hesitation, and has absolutely no idea how she feels about it yet. Yvaine has always considered herself a calm, rational person, and yet her first response to finding out she was being held captive was to resort to violence, to shed all of her reserved poise and compassion and fight like a cornered animal. Cutting the introspective detour off before it can lead away from the watchful state she knows she'll need if they are going to escape, Yvaine lays back on the bed and stares up at the ceiling, already trying to guess when next their cell might be opened and reminding herself to be more patient the next time she tries to escape.

Jin doesn't immediately follow either woman's orders. Jin does her own calculations: How many of these Death Troopers could she take with her to the Netherworld. Not enough to put Yvaine or Amaris' lives in danger. Instead Jin let Yvaine return to the room, then would wait for Amaris to follow, all the while keeping her blaster trained on the firing line in front of them. Once both the girls were inside, Jin took her right had off the trigger and made a show of setting the safety back on. While she drew the attention to her activation of the blasters safety, she hoped it would draw eyes away from her other hand disengaging the energy pack and pushing it up her still intact sleeve. She then threw the blaster down and backed into the room as well. Her eyes lingered on the door until it closed behind them. It was a good attempt, Yvaine. On the brightside, they have committed no small force to keeping us contained... maybe that will mean something for your mom. Jin moved over and sat down next to Yvaine and subtilty tried to pass the energy pack to the clever princess. Maybe you can find some use for this in our next attempt.

Amaris pulled back into her own defensive stance as the shots had been fired and her attention had gone to the Death Troopers facing them. However her hand shot up to protect her eyes from the lights that flashed on, another element working against them. As Myria's voice came over the loudspeakers, she realised why she recognised the cuffs they all wore. It was a new prisoner control tactic that was being trialled by several special forces, and it appeared they were now joining that test group. At mention of her father, however, Amaris did her best to show no sign of reaction. She knew he had some disagreements with certain decisions and members of their family, but could it be that things had really managed to go so far that he was making a play for the Throne?
Such a question still lingered in her mind as she slowly backed up into their cell once more, hurrying over to the med pack and gathering the kit together before taking a seat at Yvaine's side and tending to her cousins broken nose. Gently helping clean away the mess and applying some bacta patches after making sure her nose was not broken out of place What the hell was that all about? She gave Evvy one last check before packing the kit back away, noting the bare necessities of medical care available within
Charming, Princess... The comment echoed out across the space, the Death Troopers waiting until Jin had moved back into the room before moving in as the door slammed shut and the outer shield activated. They gathered the pair of bodies and the discarded weapon before pulling back once more. Myria tapped some controls to shrink the boundary in which the Cuff's would not automatically activate to half that of what it was before. If they did happen to escape again, they'd find themselves stunned well before the blue line that indicated the initial perimeter. Not that Myria had any intention of providing them another escape attempt.
She worked some controls then, causing a pair of screens set high in the front wall of the cell to activate. News clips started playing, showing off coverage of the ongoing fight across Coruscant, while emerging news headlines started scrolling about the Death of Octavian Delvardus. Others meanwhile included tags about the Imperial Knights betraying the Emperor, and putting the current fighting down to Stormtrooper forces owing loyalties to the Imperial Knights. The PR campaign had begun, with new headlines flashing about Baltasar Delvardus humbly stepping up to take on the Mantle of Responsibility in these trying moments. Some were running unconfirmed reports that Fiora had been assassinated, while others reported that she was alive and heading up a rebellious movement with the Ren, with others still speculating that the Ren had been behind the Emperor's death.
The sound was muted, with subtitles running along to show what was being said

Belle Époque Cabal - BlacksiteJin sat and watched each screen in turn, each one was easy to block out as lies, or misinformation. That was, until she got to the news source reporting Fiora's supposed assassination. A part of Jin tried to tell herself it was a lie, but the guilt and anxiety she had felt before rushed back once again. Her anger swelled. No longer just irritated about being held captive, they were claiming that the love of her life was dead. Jin had enough of watching that screen. She leapt to her feet and with the Force, snatched the healing kit (the largest and sturdiest object she could see) and launched it with intent to break the monitor. Panting heavily the failed Knight felt the anger in her surge as she let out a scream. No ordinary scream was this. Her cry shook the building with a wave of unseen Darkside energy, the ripple in Force carried on much further than the physical effects. Jin's knees hit the ground as she gripped her signature black and purple hair. She fell forward, catching herself with her hands. A fist hit the floor below, hard. The pain of which seemed to actually calm Jin down as she said out loud. Horne, you and yours better hope I don't get out of here again!

Yvaine, her head down with her forehead resting in her right palm when Jin sits down next to her, mumbles a non-committal reply when her sister's girlfriend suggests that the size of their captors' forces might offer some hope that Faina survived the attack on the Palace, not lifting her head or responding in any other outward way to the energy pack that Jin passes to her. Palming the energy pack with her left hand and slowly maneuvering up her sleeve, Yvaine telepathically tells Jin, Well done, her mind already looking for ways that the energy pack could be used in their next escape plan.
Yvaine gives Amaris a grateful smile as she starts tending to the broken nose, looking mildly confused when Amaris asks, or so she assumes, what the escape attempt had been about, replying, "SERE? A part of Yvaine's Imperial Knight training had included training for being held hostage by hostile forces, and her summers with the Mandalorians on Agamar had reinforced her survival skills along with providing her tactics to use in evasion, resistance and escape, but she can't be sure that Amaris has any similar experience, so explains briefly, It's our duty to escape, and to resist giving any information to our captors." There are other things she could tell her cousin, but since Yvaine cannot be sure that they are being listened in on, doesn't share anything other than what their captors already know.
Yvaine wonders what it means that Baltasar's daughter is being held hostage in light of the fact that Horne claims he is making a play for the throne, and Jin for that matter. Yvaine herself being held hostage makes sense if Baltasar is behind the attack on the Palace, giving him something to hold over Ocky, and she supposes Jin may have been taken captive to hold over Fifi to try and keep her from giving Ocky aid, but Amaris . . . why would she be a captive unless someone wanted a threat to hold over Baltasar? Sensing she is close to going in circles, Yvaine tentatively accepts that the strongest possibility points to someone pulling her uncle's strings, maybe forcing him to make his play for the throne, but that just gets her right back to the questions of who and why.
When the screens come on and start playing soundless footage of conflicting reports, Yvaine stops watching after a moment; while there might be some truths among the lies, the fact their captors are giving them the alleged information automatically makes it suspect in her mind - disinformation meant to demoralize her, Jin and Amaris by making it seem like any rescue effort might be long in coming given the confusion and chaos the reports would want them to witness. While she and her older siblings have never been particularly close given the differences in their ages and the trajectories of their futures - Ocky chosen and trained to succeed their father from birth and Fifi promised to the Knights of Ren from before she was even born - Yvaine feels certain she would have sensed it if either had died .
Jin's Force Scream prevents Yvaine from trying any longer to put the conflicting information she has into a discernible order, and she is assaulted along with everyone else in the immediate vicinity by the waves of anger and frustration radiating out from Jin and continuing to ripple out even when Jin drops to her knees. Massaging her right temple, still feeling a little unsteady after the Force Scream, Yvaine goes and squats next to Jin, resting a hand on the Ren's shoulder as she says quietly, "Steady on, don't let them frazzle you. They'll probably start playing annoying, intrusive noises and messing with the lighting's schedule to distort our sense of time next. Nodding her chin towards the screens, she says, It's probably just disinformation, they'll want us worried, off-balanced. Don't make it easy for them. If Fifi were really gone, one of them would have felt it, and so Yvaine tells Jin, "Lies, probably all of it. One of us would have felt it if she . . . shaking her head rather than continue to plead her case any longer, Yvaine stands and holds out a hand to help Jin back to her feet while telepathically telling her, We need to stay en garde, Jin. Don't let them use her agaist you.

Not being a Force Sensitive meant that Amaris was not privvy to what ever conversations were passing between her Cousin and her other Cousin's Girlfriend. And all she had going for her was the last few minutes of being awake, all of which seemed like a very confused mess right now, not helped at all by Yvaine's stoic speech That's not... what I meant... Her focus turned to the screens then, reading along as best and fast as she could. Doing her own best to file out the sensationalist headlines and piece together just what had been happening when she was asleep. She flinched back as Jin pulled the med kit to her and tossed it at one of the screens before clapping her hands across her ears as the scream reverberated within the small enclosed space. She stayed seated on the bed, doubled over as she processed it all Father... What have you done... She looked over to the other two, frowning I'm sorry... His actions are my weight to bear. And you've both been caught up in it...
The screens were left going, running their silent coverage. Myria meanwhile sat watching the trio, a bemused smirk crossing her features. As dawn approached, a panel in one of the walls opened up to reveal a small space with three meals upon them and a pitcher of orange juice. The panel would remain open for a couple hours assuming the meals were untouched before closing again. The space was just big enough for the meals to fit and that was all. While the trio of women were being helped captive, they would need to be kept alive until the threat of Octavian and Fiora were removed. Ideally once their claims were forfeited, they would be exiled beyond the Empire and watched. But death was also still very much an option

Jin's anger still burnt hot in her chest as she sat on all fours, glaring at the ground. She wanted to lash out, at Yvaine as she tried to calm her down, but tried her best to resist. After all the princess hadn't done anything wrong. But when Amaris spoke, Jin could not restrain herself. The Knight rose swiftly and turned face the other two. Her anger flowed out in her shouted words. I came here to try and stop this! To try and keep Fi from going to war against your father and Octavian! Someone's been targeting the Ren and all evidence pointed to your uncles, Yvaine! But no, I thought that we could avoid this, save the people like me from needless bloodshed, and so I left Fi's side to come here. And now I'm going to be used as a pawn against her! I shouldn't have hesitated at the Palace! I should have- I should have... Jin's volume dropped as she ruminated on the sacrifice she had been about to make before being stunned and brought here. Her whole body trembled, with fists clinched by her side, sure that her nails were drawing blood from her own palms, but she didn't care. Not right now. Jin turns full to Yvaine and whispers. I will never betray her, but she will betray herself for me...
