As she let the boys at the table talk, Metis' attention had been drawn by the new entry and a Herglic at the bar having a load conversation. Her eyes narrowed and followed the Herglic's movements as he went toward her friends. She knew they'd be able to protect themselves from physical harm, but at this level of intoxication, she wasn't so sure about protecting themselves from bad decisions. So Metis was ready to interviene at a moments notice, but her crew showed they were still able to spot a sleaze ball when it was dropped in their laps and the large aquatic being was sent back to his friend with a slap to show for his efforts. That's the first Metis noticed the other woman who had entered. She could tell upon closer and more careful study that they pair weren't just simple travelers. And with this realization came the familiar feeling of her being pulled toward them. The same way she had been drawn to the men who now made plans around her. So with a polite, Excuse me, boys. She slipped from the booth and made her way back to the bar and posted up next to the blonde human. Well, ladies, you two seem like the types to have around for jobs of a certain nature. Got a job moving cargo that could use some more hands, especially those that know their way around a blaster and watch out for each other. If your interested come see that handsome half-cathar at the booth. If not, no hard feelings. She flicked a credit chit on the bar between the pair. And thanks for keeping that big oaf reined in. Have your next round on me. She didn't wait for a reply, so as quickly as she had arrived at the bar she slipped away, back to the booth. Squeezing back in, she was not particularly careful about brushing against her new friends with her coy smiles and "apologies."

The apparently idle swishing of Sakina's tail ceases as the Twi'lek approaches, her left ear turning towards the green skinned Tukian before her head follows. The left corner of her lips curls up in the faint suggestion of an amused smile as the Tukian makes her offer, Sakina finding it easy enough to translate the veiled meaning behind the carefully chosen words even as she wonders absently what it was about her appearance that suggested she would be interested. Whatever it was that made the Tukian suspect Sakina and her companion have been around "jobs of a certain nature", Sakina supposes she should be thankful; her dwindling supply of credits making it natural that she finds herself interested in the prospect of finding a way to add to them.
Saluting the Tukian with her empty glass when thanked for keeping Takoda reigned in, Sakina taps the credit chit the Twi'lek had flicked on the bar and drawls in Rylothean, "Arni," * as much for paying for the next round for her and the blonde woman as for the job offer. As the barkeep sets the namana she had ordered before the Twi'lek had arrived on the bar, Sakina slides the credit chit over to him as she says, For the namana and, she nods towards the blonde woman, whatever mmmmrr she's having."
Standing with her drink in hand, not waiting to see if the blonde woman will share her interest in the job offer they have been given, Sakina languidly makes her way over to the booth the Tukian had pointed out. Sakina does not recognize the half-cathar that the Twi'lek had suggested she see if interested in the job, but her species' natural night vision is good enough to make out the identity of one of the men in the booth even though he is concealed in shadow. Sakina has never crossed paths with Draykon, but has been in the game long enough to know the name and the reputation that comes along with it. As Draykon's reputation for taking in strays is preceded only by his notoriety for looking out for those he works with, any reservations about the pay or conditions of the job Sakina might have had evaporate. Draykon looks a bit longer in the tooth than he did on the last bounty posting Sakina saw him appear on, but she has little doubt that it is him, though she gives no sign of recognizing him as she walks over and, the booth filled to capacity, leans casually against the wall beside the booth and nods a greeting to the half-cathar, drawling lazily, "Your mmmrrr lovely associate said to see you if I was interested in helping you move some cargo."
* Thanks

[ Ami-Lee Westar | The Bar | Louie's Tavern | Tatooine ] Attn: Adrien Draykon, Metis Daru, Jack Morgan, Scar & Sakina NjeriIt was almost uncanny. Millie somehow had the feeling that the twi'lek she'd spotted earlier with the men who were all shrouded by shadows was going to approach her. She only acknowledged the woman with the slightest turn of her head and an obvious sign of watching from her peripherals while she spoke, and when the credit chit landed on the table, the Felacatian woman had taken it to pay for her drink and Millie's blue milk as well. Nodding in thanks to both, she took a moment to consider ignoring the job offer.
As soon as she'd thought of not going for it, the storm outside seemed to intensify.
This made Millie frown. Ever since her visit to the Jedi Temple at Corellia, she'd begun noticing a growing number of oddities that happened around her. Things that couldn't be explained. Maybe she was reading too much into it, because who ever heard of a desert sandstorm that reacted to your thoughts? She definitely had to pause when she decided to pick up her drink and head towards the growing group at the table, and the storm almost immediately subsided outside. The sudden quiet made her freeze partway from the bar to the table, and she wasn't really the only one to notice how it had stopped so suddenly, the ensuing quiet was impossible to ignore.
“Strange planet...” muttered Millie, and she turned to give a quick whistle to her droid, “Bee-Bee, c'mon.”
The little droid obediently but haphazardly rolled over towards her, bumping against the leg of the friendly Twi'lek woman who'd approached them earlier, warbled an apology and then stationed himself beside Millie. “'lo,” she said, and raised her cup slightly, “thanks fer th' blue milk.”

Boland came strolling into the tavern. Walking up to the bar a pitcher of dark ale and two glasses were set out in front of the man. Nodding politely then turning the glasses right side up Boland filled each, passing one to Grace and keeping the second he spoke -Boland- “Milk for the kid and would it kill one of you to grab the dog a bowl of water?” Bloland was a wonderful speaker. Forceful yet charming. And Maureen and The hound absolutely melted people. And consequently they were waited on hand and foot. The girl politely accepting a glass nonetheless looked to Grace asking -Maureen- “Grace. “This milk is blue….” But the woman chastised her firmly -yet quietly -Grac- “just drink it.” As if following her own instructions Grace took a strong pull from her glass. And as the humans did their best wasting time The hound was busy destroying a bowl of the best fresh water a desert planet can muster.( Which in all likelihood was bottled and came from another planet And as this moving scene betwixt this odd family unit was transpiring The Raven sat high in a corner observing all and doing his best not to vomit
