Ben walks into the cantina after dropping a bit into the Force so he can tell where everyone is and what they are doing as he notices that a fight had just ended before he got there and he makes sure his solid Phrik hand-and-a-half sword is loose in its sheath on his right hip, his armor glinting even in the low light of the interior once he sits at an empty booth he looks around before asking questions on where he can find a couple Exchange fellows one of which goes by the name of Staed hoping to himself that Staed will give up more names so he can get more money on the bounty.

Mirania had remained silent throughout this whole exchange, thoroughly unnerved by the way the older man was handling this whole thing. That man Jim had killed a few of his men and he hadn't even raised his voice, and there was no hint of any emotion. She was relieved when he left with the surviving members of his gang. That one was trouble, and now she needed to get off this planet before something else happened. Nothing would be worse than ending up in the clutches of some mobster or some Hutt...
She managed a small smile when the bartender told her that her drinks were on him, at least one thing she wouldn't have to worry about."Th-thanks..."Looking over at where Jim was, he was currently dealing with a Devoronian, and she could see that he was wounded. Jim had told him to talk, or they would let him bleed out, and the Miraluka woman remained behind the bar, anxiously watching both the bartender and Jim as they dealt with the remaining gangster. Hopefully he would provide some answers, but Mirania hoped that it wouldn't end with him bleeding out in front of everyone. She had seen enough death for one day.

A figure in a dark shawl advanced on the armored man, slipping into the same booth. The Kubazian's proboscis gave his species away as he passed a data-slate towards the man he was hired to be an informant more. " Here's the informations on your bounty, Staed." The Kubazian spoke in basic - with the aid of a translator strapped to his neck, before pointed to the slate." Now were are my credits?" The translator's tone actually conveyed the harsh seriousness in the Kubazian's vocalizations.

Adrien largely ignored the other patrons in the bar, save for the two who had just arrived. It was never a good idea to walk into a bar where a gunfight had taken place, people were on edge after something like that and it was evident when other people jumped away from the door as it opened again. He absently listened to the brief conversation in the otherwise silent bar. The compulsion to rip someone off and not pay for services rendered was one that wasn't unfamiliar to Adrien, but it was never one that he had without even checking the quality of the job. It was despicable.
But it wasn't his concern, so he returned his full attention to the matter at hand. The Klatooinan.
He snapped his fingers in the creature's face. Hey. Hey. Wake up. He could tell the thing was getting woozy and a passed out or dead Klatooinan did him no good. First question, this is an easy one. What's your name?
He just looked at Adrien with a stupid, dazed look on his face. Kako Kreespa, e chu ta. The creature laughs as he lays out his insult.
Adrien laughs as well but only for a few seconds before slapping the thing across the face where the hole in its cheek was. Your name!?
He let out a scream, but it did the trick, he snarled at Adrien. My pee kasa Jakara M'Beg.
Good. He looks in Louie's direction to let him know to be ready to treat the wounds. Now we're getting somewhere. M'Beg? Seems like a lot of you desert dogs have that-
He lunged forward with a roar, but was quickly put back in his place because of the pain. Da beesga coo palyeeya pityee bo tenya go kaka juju hoopa! Tah-koh tee womp rat e’nachu!
Well now that wasn't ver nice. Adrien said as he shook his head and walked over to where the slugthrower was lying then picked it up and started walking back toward the creature.
Je killya um pasa doe beeska wumpa! There was obvious fear in his voice as he tried to deter Adrien from shooting him with threats of backlash from his people.
Kill you? Adrien pulled up a chair and sat directly in front of the captive. I'm not going to kill you. He paused for a brief moment and added. You're no good to me dead. With that he stuck the barrel of the gun into the wound on the creature's stomach and the creature wailed in pain. He twisted a couple of times before pulling it out and setting it to the side. Now, talk. Your boss. Who is he?

Sweat beaded on Louie's brow as he sat close to Jim and the Klatoonian, tapping his pudgy fingers on the med-case nervously.
The old barkeep's heart nearly stopped when the Tavern door opened, thinking that the well dressed man had returned, but it was only an armored something or other (Jinn). Louie let out a long slow breath and tried to get his heart to stop thumping in his chest, as he turned to see the armored man sit down, meet with someone, then get up to leave again. "Good riddens..." Was all Louie said before returning his attention to Jim.
"Keep tha case fer now, Jim." Louie whispered before going towards the bar again. He gave the young Jedi a smile as he rounded the end of the bar. "Ya wouldn't be hungry would ya?"

Mirania shrugged, wondering how anyone could think of food at a time like this. She was honestly surprised that the bartender was being this nice to her. After all, the trouble only started when she walked into the bar. Still she hadn't eaten in a bit, and if he was offering...
She sighed, still keeping a nervous gaze on the ongoing interrogation."A little..."

Louie gave the young woman a nod and waddled his way up the length of the bar, ducking into the small kitchen. He looked out the small serving window and gave the Jedi a meek smile, before cursing slightly at the burnt remnants of the Bantha burgers he had been cooking before this all took place. Louie looked around and opened the standing freezer a few feet away from the grill. He had plenty of Bantha left, some of his award winning Tavern stew, and some kind of vegetables so frost-bitten he wasn't even sure what they were.
"Do ya like Bantha meat, er stew?" Louie yelled to the Jedi. "Cause if yah don't I'll 'ave ta really look 'round fer somethin' edible."

Mirania followed Louie a little ways towards the kitchen, not wanting to be present during the interrogation, and figuring that Jim could handle it. Standing in the doorway to the kitchen, she watched Louie moving around and shrugged. She wasn't usually picky about the food she ate during her travels, and this was no exception. She was just grateful that she would getting food at all, considering all of this trouble only started when she had arrived at the tavern..."Meat is fine. I'm...not picky."

Louie gave the young woman a toothy grin, before reaching into the freezer to take out a portioned serving of something in a clear container. "Well then, yer en luck." Louie turned a single burner on and put a one pint saucepan on it. Opening the lid of the container and pouring the contents into the pan. "This is tha best Bantha stew en all'a Eisley. My own rec'pe too." Louie smiled talking to the Jedi, but paying complete attention to what he was stirring in the pan. "Hell, I'd ev'n be so bold ta say on all'a Tatooine." Louie looked up again with a grin, as the smell of the stew started to waft towards Mirania.
"By tha way..." Louie said turning back towards the pan, stirring it in regular intervals; like some precise ritual being preformed. "Whats yer name?" Louie lifted the spoon to his mouth and gave the the concoction a taste, nodding his head before turning the burner to a simmering heat and covering the pan. "'Cause I can't keep referin' ta ya as, Jedi."

Mirania managed a small smile when Louie started boasting about his stew, and she figured as long as the stuff was edible and didn't taste like dishwater, she wouldn't complain. At least the stuff smelled good, and she realized that she was actually kind of hungry, having not eaten a good meal since getting off the ship.
She was surprised when he called her Jedi, and she shook her head."Oh I'm not a Jedi, actually. Well...I don't belong to the Order. I was trained by one to heal though...that's really it...She shrugged, then remembered that he had asked her what her name was."My name's Mirania."

Louie saw the slight surprise in Mirania's face, and gave her a nonchalant wave of his pudgy hand. "I've seen all typ's a Forcies, Miran'a. Jus' had'a feelin' ya was one'a them." Louie stirred the stew again and shrugged. "All Forcies hav'a air 'bout em. En I guess ya ain't much dif'rent than tha real Jed. Well, ta me atleast." Louie smirked as he got a bowl from the cupboard behind him, and started to fill it with the piping hot stew of Eisley legends. Before turning to Mirania, presenting the bowl of stew to her like a temple offering.
"En don' get me 'rong, I ain't sayin' real Jedi ta put ya down. Just sayin' ya carry yurself like one'a them." Louie shrugged again and put a spoon in the bowl. "Take it as'a compl'ment en enjoy yer stew."

Mirania wasn't sure if Louie's attitude towards her was respect or something else, but she wouldn't have been surprised if he had reacted with disgust or some other negative emotion. That didn't seem to be the case here, but during her travels, she sometimes was on the receiving end of some unflattering remarks and such from those who feared Force users. It bothered her sometimes. She wasn't actually surprised to hear him say that she carried herself like a Jedi, as her general philosophy was geared towards the lightside, a necessity due to her profession as a healer.
She smiled as Louie handed her the bowl of stew."Thank you."She sat back down at the bar and started to eat, going slowly because the stew was still pretty hot, but it was quite good. Some of Louie's boasting was not entirely unfounded, it seemed.

You had been walking through the streets for sometime before you had found a suitable spot to try and find a fence for the items you had acquired while on Arkania. You enter the shady establishment and head to find a booth where you could sit alone and be able to still have a good sight on the entrance doorway. You found a table and sat at it, your armour creased with ease as you sat down, and leaned back into the booth. Your stark red garb drawn over your head like a hood, casting a deep shadow over the mask that you wore over your face. You would sit here and eavesdrop using the heightened senses that came with being an energy vampire. And hopefully you would be able to pick up on someone that you could edge in with, and sell of the stolen jewels latched to your hip. "I'll have a glass of water, and a pint of ale...any ale will do." I told myself in my head, I said it a few times, so that if and when a server happened my way, I would be already prepared to give them an answer. While I repeated this to myself I kept my ears open, and my eyes down at the datapad I was thumbing through without aim or point other than to appear too busy to be noticing the going ons happening about me.

Some of Louie's boasting was not entirely unfounded, it seemed. "Ah." Louie said with a dismissive wave of his hand. "It weren't nothin', ya eat up..." Louie continues before seeing a man enter the Tavern. "I'll be back." The old barkeep said out of the side of his mouth to Mirania, and sauntered down the bar towards the red-hooded man.
He knew without even hearing what the man would say that this was his contact. Could he have been any more inconspicuous? Louie grunted in slight annoyance. He was a businessman, and dealing with the likes of the Exchange and other cells usually meant trying to keep an air of ambiguity about you, but this was anything but that. Louie wondered if this was more of a problem that he would want to deal with, but backing out of this deal would be costly.
Louie's lips pursed and his face flushed. Credits were everything, but getting busted would be more of a problem. Louie looked at the man as he made his way up to the bar and sighed; credits always won... Always.
He leaned up against the bar and gave the masked man a smile. "So, stranger... Wha' can'ni do yah fer?"

Yellow eyes flicked up from the man's face in front of you. Locking your datapad and sliding it into your garb, you purse your lips and remove the mask and hood. How would one drink and eat in a tavern with a mask over his face. You look back to the man, your young pale angular face almost had an eerie look to it, but that was mostly due to you being Nagai. You weren't quite sure the best way to announce that you had stolen Arkanian jewels stuffed into your right hip. But the way this man moved about the room could mean that he might just be able to help you. You hated being in public places, but you were not about to stroll the alley ways of Mos Eisley trying to sell off what could be several pounds of jewels.
"Yes, an ale, Corellian would be fine. Also...would you happen to know where one might find a geologist? I found some stones I want to have looked at." I said quietly leaning a bit closer to him as I spoke, making sure to make it seem as if I was only trying to straighten up in my chair into a more comfortable seated position. I crossed my arms after speaking, with my right arm over my left arm letting both hands rest partially under the garb that I had moments ago slid down to reveal my full facial features for the man.

"Yes, an ale, Corellian would be fine. Also...would you happen to know where one might find a geologist? I found some stones I want to have looked at." Louie listened to the man, taking in his small mannerisms as he leaned closer. He seemed to be overly cautious, and that maybe Louie take a look around the bar suspiciously. He knew everyone in here; every face, back story, and vice. There was nothing out of place, so the minute twinge of panic which surfaced melted away into a toothy grin. Must be new at this... Thought Louie before nodding to the man's order of ale.
He was about to turn around when the man continued about wondering where to find a geologist. Louie's eyebrow raised slightly at the odd request. What game was this outlander playing at?
"I don' 'now any g'ologists... But I do 'now a thing er two 'bout pres'ous stones en tha likes." Louie smiled at the man before turning around to get a mug to fill. When the barkeep turned back he was surprised to see the face under the mask. A Nagai? Louie hadn't seen one of them since - oh - maybe the Hutt days. Interesting.
"There's yer ale..." Louie said, placing the glass in front of the Nagai. "So, what ya peddlin'?" It was blunt, but that was Louie's way. Shtocko or get off the pot; was one of his personal mantras.

With out skipping a beat you answered the man's final question. "Arkanian jewels, mostly diamonds, but there's some others too. Emeralds, sapphire, rubies, and amethyst as well." You paused to grab the handle of the mug, the ting of metal touching glass softly could be heard between the two of you. You look down to the mug before taking a swill, as you exhaled that first breath after having a good ale your eyes turned back to the man.
"There's a few grams less than half a standard pound of diamonds, and .75 pounds of the others each. All cut, ready for faceting or use." My voice was particularly quite when I mentioned the weight and condition of the gems I had brought. I had weighted them out in hyperspace whilst on my way here to Tatooine. I could tell that it would seem he hadn't expected a Nagai, and chuckled softly. "Don't see too many Nagai venturing off Nagi, huh?"
You knew he likely hadn't, most didn't. Nagai would prefer to stay at home, do some hit and gets on a planet, or leave only to embark on a trading route. You weren't here out of choice, and you hadn't left home as one either. Exiled, for being half Energy Vampire, and son to a mother who had betrayed her people and at one point been your own top enemy. Your eyes look slightly hazed over in thought before they snapped back into focus. "So you can help me with this, correct?"

"Ark'nian jewls... 'en ready fer use, huh?" Louie said he kneaded at his stubble covered chin and jowls. "So, I'm ta guess ya sumhow acquir'd them, an that it won't come back ta me... Right?"
It wasn't the first time Louie had been privy to stolen items, and it wouldn't be the last, but he didn't know this runner, and the thought of this being some kind of botched robbery kept on resurfacing in the back of Louie's mind. "Yah, I can help ya... But ya gotta come clean with me too." Louie said, continuing to rub his chin. "Did'ya have ta kill ta get them?" Louie eyes the Nagi. "Cause I know what ya Nagi are about, en I don't wanna deal with yur shtocko trail. If you wast'd sumone ta get these..."

You tapped your mask, and kept your mustard yellow eyes locked on the man. "I wouldn't be sitting here if I could be trailed now would I?" And then he asked the question, of if you had killed anyone to get the jewels. Uh oh, what would you tell him? Would you lie to him and say you only had to knock the man out? Or would you come clean about your nature? You breathed in deeply through your nose and let it out shortly after.
"I had to...kill the holder." I said in a hushed tone, leaning over my mug and gazing deep into it all to be closer to the man. "You see...I am a Energy Vampire, so they'll likely be looking for a vampire scouring their neighborhoods." I paused for a brief moment before bringing the drink to my lips and taking a sip. As I set the mug down, my eyes narrowed in back on his. "And not looking for cut gems from a dirty workshop in the ghetto of the trade city."
Your voice was stern, someone would want these gems, they had to. The YT-1000 needed upgrades, and you wanted to get a droid. The credits were necessary, and you were not about to stop at any measure to get them. Such cold thoughts, from you thief, maybe your exile has turned you into something darker than you thought you were capable of. Either way, you would have your money. No was never an option for you.
