Verdandi Estate and Vineyard
Inheriting the title of Duchess when the eldest female in her clan had died and selected her as successor, Verdandi, already having served quite successfully as the chief executive of her clan's prestigious and highly respected jewelry business, had displayed the levelheadedness and leadership abilities required of the position even though it was not one she had ever consciously sought after.
In the aftermath of the First Order's concerted attack on the Five Worlds, it was Verdandi that was chosen to represent her homeworld when Sabina Gaultieri, Diktat of Corellia, had reached out to Drall and the other inhabited planets of the Corellian system. Ex-senator Hadrig would, naturally, have been the preferred choice, but Verdandi was selected when he proved to missing despite efforts to locate him the confusion following the First Order's attack. As Drall was spared, to an extent, from the focused attacks that were aimed primarily at Corellia and Selonia, hopes remain high that Hadrig will turn up sooner or later, which would suit Verdandi just fine.
In a comfy cave-like room of the sprawling estate she resides in, set up as an office and library, Verdandi completes an entry in her meticulously detailed daily journal after completing a holo-meeting with Sabina, Neakita - the representative of Selonia's governmental den - and President Burkhart Trauner - the leader of the Federation of the Double Worlds, Talus and Tralus - concerning the deployment of the CDF fleet; with the defensive fleets of all Five Worlds having sustained varying degrees of losses in personnel and equipment, all of the representatives agree that cooperation and sharing, exchanging or trading things like medicines, building materials and the like is very much in everyone's best interest until such a time as some degree of stability has been achieved on all of the Five Worlds. With the proximity of the Corellian system's inhabited worlds, the CDF fleet should, even if scattered across the Five Worlds, be able to respond to any threat in a timely fashion, or so they would all like to believe.
Completing the entry in her journal, Verdandi returns it to its proper place on the shelves lining the walls of her office and then glances at the beautiful antique standing chrono near the only door, smiling as she sees that it is nearly time for the daily Ta'sharr, the verbal story-telling that allows her to spend time with the children of her clan often one of the high points of her day as it offers a chance to take a welcome break from the demands of her many duties.
