"I'll take point," Kaiya tells her twin with a mischievous grin, trusting that Ellie will know that they stand a better chance of accomplishing their objective if Kaiya takes the lead in presenting the idea to her Master, since the fact she has spent more time with the Weequay has given her more experience when it comes to negotiating with, or at times resorting to outright pleading with him.
Fifteen minutes later, after having debated the merits of her and Ellie having something to occupy them, and furthering their training towards becoming effective and efficient Jedi Knights with a full range of skills and abilities that includes the art of investigation among them, and maybe just a slight bit of pouting for good measure, Kaiya is able to get her Master to agree to allow them to participate in the investigation of the wreckage of the enemy ship in the forest.
Before her Master can rethink his decision, or add any conditions, restrictions, or other stipulations to it, Kaiya grabs her twin's hands and starts pulling her along, as, walking backwards, she tells Master Kei'takao, "Thanks, Master! You can count on us! Thanks again, bye!"
Turning to whisper to her sister, Kaiya suggests, "Let's get to the hangar before he changes his mind or insists on coming along, vod," and then starts jogging for the hangar.

*Ellie wanted to laugh at how her twin had handled negotiations with Master Kei'takao, but the jogging to the hangar took that laughter away. She grimaced as pained shot through her side, cutting each breath short. 'What are you doing, hurting yourself like that?' The voice in her head asked, a voice that didn't sound at all like hers. 'Jogging, what does it look like I'm doing', she almost answered it out loud, but stopped herself short of looking like she was crazy. Maybe she was going crazy, answering the voices in her head. The thought almost made her steps falter, on the plus side though, the voice didn't talk back. Blaming what just happened on the painkillers wearing off, she tried picking up her step to keep up with her twin.*
