Towards the end of the Estate laid a special room. It was modest in appearance, a few chairs and a few holoprojectors and of course a few maps. The room when closed was also sound proof and special computers scanned the air for outgoing communication. No communication to anybody or anything outside was allowed once the doors were closed.
This was to ensure that no secret plans got their way into competitors or nemesis hands. Granted not everything was caught going out but, it was a good start.
There was also a secret passageway that led to and from the street entrance. Only accessible to senior level staff of the Exchange. In other words, no guards or other low staff was allowed. This was used sparingly but necessary in times of large meetings.

Exchequer entered the room, showing his card. Possibly, there could be a way to implant it. But, of course, they would need a doctor and doctors don't usually work for criminals. Ex had the comms officer begin to link holoprojectors to stuff as he and Avidus began to talk. Of course this happened after Ex had taken a seat and had waited for Avidus to do as well. This would be the part where spice operations would be looked over and talked about and a possible re-shifting of boots on the ground.

Avidus pulled out his data pad. "Of course, you realize I will have to repeat most of this later when the others arrive." He paused and let Exchequer make a remark or two then continued. "As you know, I tasked my business manager with setting up facilities on Falleen under my shell corporation of Yellow District Industries. I have already confirmed that the necessary facilities have been acquired, local, regional, and national government officials have been bribed and coerced as needed, and adequate security has been established. My manager just needs to know when you will start shipping him products. I have been assured within the week enough personal to run the factory will have been recruited. This of course is temporary until we get the necessary slaves imported." During his presentation he relayed the last update from Vic which ended with "When can I expect the first shipment?" "As you can see, my facility has been converted to produce primarily Spice and other such commidities. We're also in the midst of adding the necessary places to store arms, as well as slave pens and the appropiate laboratories to experiment with various combinations of Spices. In addition to this, we still maintain a small R&D department for manufacturing custom weapons not limited to weapons of mass destruction, small arms, and when needed, chemical and biological weapons. We are developing a price list for these based on demand." He paused and looked Exchequer dead in the eye as if to say. 'Do not fuck this up.' Then he took a deep breath. "So, I conclude that my facility is fully operational as of right now. And I must reinforce Vic's enthuasim. When can I expect raw materials for processing?"

Exchequer smiled.
I have a team enroute to Kessel as well as some unprocessed spice. I can have those directed towards Falleen as soon as we get out of the meeting. Once, Kessel's mines fall under our control than you will be getting your shipments. Do, you plan to send the spice to Hoth for final refinement? Or should I abandon Hoth for now?
Exchequer snorted a line of spice.
And, do you think that you have enough security? I can spare some Durro for reinforcement.

Avidus had prepared for this moment well. "I can ship my refined products wherever you wish. Hoth suits me if it does you. My time table is extremely flexible. Something you will also appreciate. If you like, I can ship most to Hoth, and keep some stuff more unrefined to make a quick buck since we do need capital. As for security. I believe you can never have enough. As long as these Durro understand that Vic is the sole owner of the facility and follow his orders as well as keeping out of the products. There shouldn't be an issue. I do believe several of the current security guards will need to be permanently dismissed in the near future."

Exchequer smiled and displayed a map of the galaxy.
It doesn't make sense to send it to Hoth and then to here. I say it goes from Falleen to here. It would be the only way that would be beneficial to us. So, I will order all ships to head here and then send a contigent to Falleen. It will be understood that you are in control. In fact, I will give them to you, I can always order more mercs.
He sighed.
Now to get the other people we need to get the Exchange up and running at full potential. Comms officer, ready the holoprojectors and get in contact with the people on that datachip I gave you.

Excheqeur re-entered this time with K'aden behind him. The guards learned to never give him a reason. He was quite found of his ability to instill fear and also live up to it.
So, I bet you want a job? I do know of one they call Crom'nem or something. My information comes from slavers, so I don't know if its reliable. But, he is worse than you, fucking prick. The slavers tell me, that he would go after anyone who would go after his precious Ryloth. That ticks me off. Kill him for me. I want to invade and enslave Ryloth. Is that too much to fucking ask?

"Twi'lek hmm?" K'aden sat his helmet down on the table.
" I have no problem with killing the man for you. Would be a pleasure. He on Ryloth currently? Have any intel that you feel like sharing?"

Ex nodded a no.
I cannot say for certain he is on Ryloth. My information is shoddy at best, usually comes from slavers. You could try there. If I get anything, then I will give you a commlink. But, for now that's all I have to work with. Though if you run into Exchange agents or pirates ask them for help. I am sure they would be willing to assist.
he handed K'aden a data chip.
This chip will open up a secure commline to me. It also contains codes to this room and the rest of the Estate.
He looked over at a guard and then back again.
Any more questions?

K'aden took the chip with a grin, he looked it over, then slid it in a pouch on his belt.
" I think I got it." K'aden returned his helmet to his head. and turned to walk out. " I'll be back soon."

Vey well
Exchequer smiled as he walked away. One less arrogant asshole in the galaxy. Don't tell the Exchange what they can and can't do or they will send a mandalorian bounty hunter after you. And since Crom'nen was so adamant against slavery why not send them a message from the biggest slavers in the universe? The message of course being, "don't fuck with us".

As the meeting between EX and Avidus continued, Duros guards monitor all encrypted channels that were directly linked to this very room. A heavily encrypted comm-channel was being sent to the terminal of the private meeting from an undisclosed terminal emanating from the planet Kessel. Duros guards began to decode the channel and brought it to the attention of their boss.
=Duros Guard= My lord, we have an incoming heavily encrypted comm transmission. Sources have discovered that the encrypted channel is using a old black ops code for authorization and it originates from the spice planet..........Kessel. Shall I open the channel, sir?

Exchequer ordered the commline to come through. He sat back and waited for it to come in.
Very well, let the commline come through. Make sure to bounce the signal twice around the planet as you send it.
=Duros Comms Officer= Yes, sir.
The commline was opened.

Ex sends a reply to Kraval. It was not uncommon for incoming communication to make it to the private room. However, it was highly regulated about what commlines left the private meeting room. This was to ensure security and secrecy and also to prevent butt dialing. Because no one likes a butt dial.
The message was bounced around the planet of Tatooine but this was after it was heavily encrypted. This was done to ensure that information could not be picked up. But it made for lousy commlink quality.

Exchequer acknowledged and sent back a reply.
I will inform Avidus and send for the troops as soon as possible.
Geor-dan-Lor acknowledged and the commline was over. The next leg of the journey had begun.

Dred had been there a while. He had numbers and money transfers to deliver to Cheq. For all their air of arrogance, the stuffy nobles of Serenno indulge themselves to their vices all too easily.

Exchequer always had a plan in motion. And, this one even he had forgotten some about. But, the nobles of Serreno paid money to be sent to the Exchange. And, soon this money would help the Exchange and Exchequer cement power in the world of the underworld and a strong hand in the black market.
Dred, do you have payment from the Nobles of Serenno?

Avidus had sat down and was observing. His eyebrows raised momentarily when the transmission about spice mines came in. He could not wait to get started. He'd sunk about half his personal fortune into this project after all. But Exchequer didn't need to know that. "Exchequer. I need to know when the first shipment heads for Falleen. " He took a drag on his cigar the cloud of smoke he exhaled wreathing his head. There were few things he enjoyed. His data pad pinged and Avidus glanced at it. Vic was again asking him when the first shipment would arrive. He ignored it and fixed his gaze on Exchequer.

Exchequer turned to Avidus.
Kessel has been secured. Tell Vic very soon. I just need to move ships into the area now. We will get all we can off of the stuff that's already been mined. From my sources, it seems before we took it over they had a surplus. Should be ready as soon as the ships get there.
He smiled. Also, the arrogant asshole bastards, er Nobles of Serreno also have money for us. You're cut will come as soon as Dred gives us it.
Ex returned to look at his datapad. And all the information Geor-Dan-Lor was transmitting to him.
