Froz was the homeworld of the Frozian species. It was on the Corellian Run.

A Galactic-class battle carrier, the Vigge, emerged from hyperspace, its outer hull pockmarked by a crisscross of what appeared to be blue paint. The "paint" was glowing, and the ship itself did not attempt to open any communications with whatever space forces the planet may have had, nor any ground control. Within a minute after the Vigge's arrival, another massive object emerged from hyperspace around Froz on a direct course to the planet below.
At first glance, it appeared to be a massive asteroid, and that in and of itself would have been cause for alarm. However, it was soon noticeable that this was no mere asteroid: it was a deep, electric blue, the same color as the "paint" on the Vigge, but the asteroid was covered in strange tentacle-like extremities as well. Those who had faced down this enemy before would have immediately recognized it for what it was: a Leviathan Seed.
And for once, the Corruption had selected a planet that was not infested with the Jedi who sought to stall its progress across the galaxy. Most important of all, Froz was a Core World, a central point of interest, the closest to the center of the galaxy that the Corruption had dared venture. Helska IV, Yavin IV, Osarian, Haruun Kal, Anzat... They had all been stepping stones. Here, there was no opposition, and -- if this new location could be fortified enough -- it would soon become a literally central base of operations, with near-direct access to the Corruption's ultimate goal...

Region: Core Worlds Sector: Corellian sector, Outlier Systems System: Froz system Planet: Froz Asteroid Field The ARC Hammer class Factory Ship, designated The Skybreaker, appeared from Hyperspace just outside of the Asteroid Field in the Froz System, well enough away from the planet Froz that they wouldn't be picked up by any scanner systems. It was here, in the very same asteroid fields that the New Republic and Jedi had used as communication bases, that the Omega program's ARC Hammer, designated The Skyfire, was currently positioned. Meta Team had assembled on the bridge of The Skybreaker to watch as The Colonel gave a slew of orders to move the Arc Hammer in closer to a specific cluster of asteroids, moments before The Skyfire abruptly appeared out of the cluster, a small cloud of rock being disturbed by the ship's movement. Unlike The Skybreaker which was coloured a more greyish-black paint scheme, The Skyfire was coloured with a few various shades of brown, so as to help camouflage it amongst the asteroid cluster it was usually stationed within. The two ARC Hammers slowly passed one another, bow first, before coming to a stop when their hangar bay area's were lined up with each other, neither one transmitting a single radio communication to the other. It wasn't long before a stream of shuttles and transports started moving back and forth between the two Capital ships, moving supplies and ammo from The Skyfire over to The Skybreaker. The Colonel turned towards the members of Meta Team, noticing the slight hint of awe in their eyesNow that is what I call a precision military operation... Any questions?Yeah, any specific reason for the radio silence and fly by sight?I'm glad you asked. Aside from the obvious fact we are currently operating under our own command, all radio comms and sensor readings are tracked in the system, meaning that anyone looking for us would have a very easy time of doing so. It would also mean The Skyfire could be forced to fire on us if sensor systems were active. In fact, just about any system could be remotely controlled...Could they not stop us through remote control?Under normal circumstances, they could. However, our tech's have managed to disable the override system for The Skybreaker, so we can't be controlled. But, because The Skyfire runs the risk of being controlled, we won't be able to stay long, their movement will have registered in the system already, meaning we are working on borrowed time...It sounds like a very risky operation, albeit a necessary one. I can understand the plan now though, instead of mass resupplies from one or two Hammers, we'll be using the element of surprise to do minor resupplies from several Hammers instead, meaning we will be harder to track...It does mean it will become easier for them to ambush us once they catch onto our tactic and work out which Hammers we haven't visited yet...You buys make me proud, I'm glad my training is starting to show. But this is where the real strategy comes in, because we know their plan will be to try ambush us, which is why we will double back on a couple of the Hammers. But the one thing to keep in kind, is that this is purely a temporary measure, we will need to start contacting potential employers, so we can start earning money to buy these supplies for ourselves. Right, now get ready, we will be departing in a couple minutes...Ethan, Drew, Rylan, and Lexus all gave a nod of acknowledgement, before The Colonel turned back towards the crew on the bridge where a screen showed the transports travelling between the two ARC Hammers, whilst another one showed inside the hangar bays that the supplies were being dropped off into. Crew members were already moving the supplies from the hangar bays to the cargo bays for storage, so as to avoid over crowding the hangar bays between supply drops. Another 20 minutes passed before the last of the transport ships dropped off their cargo and returned to The Skyfire, before The Skybreaker fired up its engines and started moving clear of the asteroid field as co-ordinates were input for the location of the Storm's Fury. It wasn't long until The Skybreaker was far enough away to activate it's hyperdrive, the Factory-class ship quickly disappearing in a flash of white light

The Reaper appeared forth from hyperspace close to the edge of the asteroid field, maintaining a distance from where The Skyfire was currently holding position outside of it's asteroid cluster. Captain Holloway initiated no contact with the ARC Hammer, as the two Barloz-class medium freighter's exited their hangar bays aboard the Star Destroyer, activating their stealth systems as they did so, making their way towards the ARC Hammer. Bahamut stood in the cockpit of The Liger Den, with the rest of Liger Team at the controls of the ship, as he gazed out at The Skyfire as they drew closer to the ship. He had no idea what they were about to walk into, since they had made no contact with The Skyfire, and he hadn't wanted to risk overriding their controls, especially since they didn't want to run the risk of alerting the crew. He just hoped he was wrong, and that this was just a result of some malfunctioning equipment, or an attack by some very daring pirates that believed themselves capable of taking an ARC Hammer. Regardless of what he hoped though, his job was to prepare for the worst, and so they needed to go in under the assumption that the Omega Program was working in collusion with the Meta Team Project, which was trying to go rogue. If that were the case, then everyone aboard The Skyfire would be considered traitors and the Omega Program terminated. Nothing seemed to change as both The Liger Den and The Shatterdome entered hangar bays on opposite sides of The Skyfire, waiting until they had landed, before deactivating their stealthing systems. Bahamut was already heading to the landing ramp as the members of Liger Team finished powering down the ship to it's most basic defences, making sure to enable the auto pilot so that once they disembarked, the ship could escape any major danger. By revealing themselves, he knew they were taking a risk, especially if the Omega Program crew was complicit with the Meta Team Projects insurrection attempt, but this was going to be a sure way to know. At any rate, the system readings still indicated that the Omega Program recruits were still in stasis, so they really only had the crew to deal with, and whilst they were all combat operatives, their training was pitiful compared to even just a handful of what Bahamut and his BULWARK operatives knew. Bahamut was already clear of the ship before the members of Liger Team caught up with him, as the ship retracted it's ramps and engaged its shielding and cloaking systems before it lifted off and exited the hangar bay, to go into a cloaked holding pattern nearby. Bahamut was already scanning the hangar bay as Zero came up right beside him, her claws poised and ready to strike, whilst Jager, Panzer, and Schneider took up positions behind him. The scan was barely complete before members of The Skyfire's crew started firing upon them, causing Bahamut, Zero, Jager, and Schneider to take cover behind some nearby crates, as Panzer leveled her two main guns towards where the shots were coming from and let off a pair of shots. Two semi-sustained energy blasts shot forth from the guns, punching holes through a number of crates, and sending even more people scattering to seek new cover, with Bahamut taking this chance to amplify his voice over the comms system This is Director Bahamut of BULWARK. You are ordered to stand down, any resistance will be treated accordingly... There was a moment of silence, before the blaster fire resumed, making the crew's stance quite clear to Bahamut, as Jager and Schneider moved off in opposite directions to try and flank the crew members current positions, whilst Panzer shot off a handful of self-propelled grenades and loosed another pair of shots, this time aiming to kill. Bahamut then drew his two handed electro sword from its sheath on his back, whilst Zero started to direct power towards her claws, which began to glow a couple moments later. Whether he liked it or not, the game had indeed begun, and now, his job was to deal with the dissidents and figure out just how deep this rabbit hole went. A few moments later, Bahamut and Zero emerged from over the top of the crate they had been hiding behind, the pair dashing across the hangar bay to reach where the dissident crew members were taking cover, as blaster bolts and ordinance flew through the air. Zero then split off to his side as they closed in on the enemy lines, making use of her acrobatic skills to leap over some obstacles and start taking people down, whilst Bahamut grabbed onto the side of a container and used the momentum to swing around the corner and cut down a pair of men. So far, as expected, the only resistance was the crew members of the ship, whose sole goal in this situation, from what he was starting to guess, was to try keep them from finding the captain, and/or going after The Skybreaker. Theoretically, it was a good idea, since Bahamut did need to find Captain Conway and ask the man a few questions, and the longer that took, the more time it gave Meta Team to get away. But realistically, although the crew had the numbers, so to speak, Bahamut and his BULWARK agents had the guns and tactical training that leveled the playing field in their favour. With that in mind, it wasn't too long before they cleared out the resistance in the hangar bay, and they all met up again at the door leading deeper into the ship, where there was undoubtedly more crew members waiting to try and ambush them, before they would reach their goal. As it stood, they still had the option of calling in The Reaper, or even disabling The Skyfire's systems through the remote access override, but for now he wanted to keep those options in reserve. Bahamut lead the push, whilst Liger Team backed him up, as they made their way through The Skyfire towards the bridge, putting down numerous pockets of resistance on their way, whilst being forced to traverse a number of levels to points the crew thought they would have the advantage, to no avail. The makeshift barricades were nothing against the firepower of Panzer's main cannons, which tore them apart, before Bahamut, Zero, Jager, and Schneider moved in and finished the crew members off, as per the dictates of the Freeman Protocol. It wasn't long before they arrived to the blast doors leading into the bridge, just as Jager Team arrived at the same time, having dealt with their own fair share of obstacles and resistance that the crew had tried putting up It's time to find out just what exactly is going on here...
After you sir... Bahamut faced the blast doors as his cybernetics begun to remote access the overrides for the blast door into the bridge, moments before the usual mechanical sounds of the locks being unlocked were heard and the doors began to open, as blaster shots started flying through the air as the gap widened. Liger Team and Jager Team then started returning fire as they rushed through the blast doors and started taking cover of their own behind consoles and various makeshift barricade items, whilst Bahamut calmly walked forward, dodging the various shots that came in his direction as he made his way towards where Captain Conway was taking cover. He'd already sheathed his Electro Sword, leaving both his hands free as he lept over the barricade and grabbed a hold of the Captain, before swinging the man around and into a console Tell your men to stand down!
Why? so you can slaughter them? I think not! They will never give up to the likes of you!
The likes of me? are you so foolish you don't realize who I am? who we are?
Oh, I know exactly who you are. I knew the moment that The Reaper exited hyperspace, that you and your filth would not be far off...
Filth? As you soo blinded by your treasonous actions that you accuse us instead? Tell your men to stand down and tell me all that you know, or it will be your loved ones that will end up paying the price...
I have no loved ones left! my wife and daughter were killed by a group of insurgents whilst I was away. I have no loved ones left to suffer for me!
You would be a fool to think so... Does the dark blue hair not ring any bells? have you forgotten what your own daughter looks like? Bahamut then nodded slightly towards Gipsy Danger, as she appeared from behind some cover and let off a couple shots at some crew memebrs of The Skyfire, as Captain Conway turned his attention towards her and actually looked at her properly, taking a moment to consider Bahamut's assertion that she was his daughter. Whilst it was true that Gipsy did look like his daughter, he wasn't sure how it was possible, unless of course he took into account that his higher-ups had lied to him about her death and instead had kidnapped her following the raid, or during it. Either way, if she was his daughter, then it was very likely that his actions could cause repurcussions on her if he wasn't careful, but neither did he want to give up everything about Meta Team and the plan. As he turned his attention back to Bahamut, he had made his decision that he would give them enough information, but not give anything too much away If what you say is true, you can guarantee her safety?
It all depends upon what you tell me...
In response to the Governments plan to grovel at the feet of the Empire or Republic by handing over all operatives, we decided to band together and provide assistance to the Meta Team Project, so they could escape and not be subjected to the Governments cowardice...
What sort of assistance?
Supplies, like food, ammo, spare parts. And providing delays, so that you have a harder time of catching up to them...
Where is their next destination?
Only the Colonel knows. We would just wait until they arrived in system. Why do you fools even care anyway? the government had already sentenced them to death and terminated their services, why chase them?
Because they are dangerous... and because sometimes we just have to follow our orders, regardless of what they are. Imagine for a moment, though, that these men remain free, what would be there to stop them if they decided to attack an undefended world of civilians, just because they wanted to? They are killers, just like me, and they will do the only thing they know what to do, whether it's against soldiers, or civilians, unless they are kept in check...
You have never given them a chance to prove themselves capable of knowing right from wrong, and yet you immediately distrust them... It must be a cold and lonely life you live... They are not as bad as you think... now finish it!
They might not be... but he is... Requiescat in pace Bahamut then extended the hidden blade in his right gauntlet and thrust it up through the base of Conway's jaw and all the way up into his skull, killing the man instantly, before he removed the blade and retratced it back into his gauntlet as he closed the man's eyes over. Bahamut then turned and made his way back towards the doors leading into the bridge, nodding to both Liger Team and Jaegar Team, the two teams making their retreat as they dodged the crew's blaster fire, whilst Bahamut began interfacing with the ship's controls, locking down the blast doors and locking out all terminal access. The crew had sealed their fates the moment they had aided the Meta Team Project in its escape, and now they would pay the price for their transgressions, especially since this would be a far kinder fate then what the Government would have had in store for them had he let them live. The Reaper did a micro jump a few minutes later as The Shatterdome and The Liger Den made it clear of The Skyfire and started docking with The Reaper, as the Legacy-class Star Destroyer opened fire on the ARC Hammer class Factory Ship, firing a full barrage of Turbolasers, Proton Torpedos, and Ion Cannons, tearing the ship apart almost immediately since the shielding systems had been disabled by the overrides. The reactor was soon breached, causing The Skyfire to start to implode as The Reaper performed another micro jump to get clear of the ship, as Bahamut arrived to the bridge with Liger Team and Jaegar Team in tow, before gathering around the map that was displaying the current location of all ARC Hammers located around the galaxy. For now, there was little they could do, bar wait for the next ship to begin acting strangely, since whilst it was true that Captain Conway had provided them with some information, he had not told them how to head off Meta Team, so for now, the game continued

Out of hyperspace, the following came in a series of actinic blue flashes.
A dead and devastated world sparsely populated by a nearly extinct species - the fleet had little interest in the world below, instead, far more interested in the asteroids in orbit. The intelligence that they had gathered from Zolga the Hutt, indeed, from the Imperial archives on Prakith itself, indicated that, once, an Intelligence base had operated in Froz's orbit - out of an asteroid no less. It was this very asteroid that the Quincy currently searched for. It would, no doubt, be a time consuming process - but they had an entire fleet at their disposal...no doubt it's location would all too soon be revealed. Hopefully. Perhaps.
Time would tell, in any case.

Emerging from hyperspace, an Alliance MC90 Star Cruiser, the Maebh, accompanied by two MC30c frigates, the Niamh and the Saoirse, maneuver to the prearranged rendezvous point where they are to be met by the other Alliance vessels that have been tasked to confront the First Order forces intelligence gathered by a Jedi Investigator suggests will already have begun to attack Rendili.
Having sustained damage and crew losses in the recent battle against First Order forces over Dantooine, the Maebh's engineers work tirelessly to repair what damage they can while awaiting the other Alliance ships that will be joining them so that the vessel is as ready for battle as it can be. As repairs continue, with sensor technicians watching for the arrival of the other Alliance ships, and a comm being sent to Froz's planetary traffic controllers to explain their presence in orbit, the hangar crew preps for the impending conflict by fueling and repairing the starfighters that survived the battle over Dantooine.
On the Maebh's bridge, Alliance Captain Merodach Cherney, greets Arduino and his fellow Jedi when they arrive. Looking at a holoprojection of the planet Rendili, Cherney says, "If the bastards follow their usual pattern, they'll move for the capital almost immediately, so Edethor is where we'll want to send our ground forces. That, he glances at Master Jyotish, is where you'll be wanting to go as well I imagine?"
Deferring to the Zabrak Master, Arduino waits for his reply along with Cherney, studying the holoprojection of the world they will soon help defend.

Resting his chin atop the knuckles of his right hand, his eyes on the holomap of Rendili, Jyotish nods, "That is where we will be most needed, so that is where we will go. If the city has time to raise their shield, we may be of most use outside of the city itself. Frowning in thought, Jyotish continues, As we've been unable to establish contact with Rendili's defense forces, we can assume that the assault has more likely than not already begun. If we can determine where the First Order's forces are staging their assault on the city, we might be able to land our forces in a flanking position, trap them between Edethor's defending forces and ours. Shrugging a shoulder, he says, Much will depend on the state of affairs when we arrive."
Berdine, hands clasped behind her back, asks Cherney, "Do we have an ETA for the Alliance forces that will be joining us?"

Merodach grunts with a nod when Master Jyotish replies, agreeing, "True enough, but your plan is a good one. If Rendili's defense force can hold out until our arrival, it will make getting you and our troops to the ground easier, but we'll see when the time comes. Looking over to Berdine, he answers her, Nothing precise, but they should begin arriving soon, as should your Investigator."
Arduino arches an eyebrow in surprise, asking, "The Investigator will be joining us as well? Another Jedi will be a welcome addition, Arduino thinks, and then suggests, Why don't we go and meet with the troops and their commanding officer while we wait?"

Pensive, the prospect of facing the forces of the First Order again so soon after the assault on Dantooine, especially when it sounds as though the First Order will have the upper hand, weighing on her heavily, Berdine follows Arduino and Master Jyotish to the hangar where the Alliance soldiers and their commander are waiting near the transports that will ferry them from orbit to Rendili's surface. How many of those soldiers, Berdine cannot help from wondering, will not survive the journey to the ground? How many will be lost when the First Order destroys the ships carrying them? How many more will die in the fighting on the ground? That the lives are risked willingly, and in an effort to prevent the First Order from sowing its evil on yet another world, is of little comfort to Berdine as she watches the soldiers, some looking to young to be fighting in a war while others look as though they are too old or too haunted by what they have seen or by the prospect of what they fear they must do or what they will see. Looking over to where Arduino and Master Jyotish are speaking to the commander of the soldiers, Berdine wonders if the Force has brought one or more of them here to die, and more bitterly, if such a sacrifice would matter at all when, even if the First Order is defeated, another evil will inevitably rise up to replace it.
Taking a deep breath and chiding herself for such thoughts, knowing deep down that to do nothing in the face of evils such as that the First Order represents is to be a party to it, Berdine unconsciously clasps the saberstaff hilt on her hip as though to remind herself on some level of who and what she is and of the responsibility that comes with that identity, and then moves over to join Arduino and Jyotish.

After setting the YT-2000 light freighter down in the Maebh's hangar, Vashity disembarks and makes her way over to where she can see three Jedi, easily identified by the robes distinctive to the members of the Order that adhere to the traditional attire, speaking with Alliance troopers and their commander. Still dressed in the mechanic's coveralls she has been wearing often as part of her cover identity, Vashity knows she does not look the part of a Jedi save for the lightsaber she wears openly now on her hip since the need to conceal her identity no longer exists.
After introducing herself to the commanding officer of the troops, Vashity asks, "How many troops and ships were made available for this operation? Have you received any indication as yet when we will be making the jump to Rendili?" Knowing that the First Order will have arrived ahead of them, Vashity is eager to set out to Rendili's aid, and curious as to how large a force has been gathered to participate in the counter attack.

Berdine, accompanying Master Jyotish as he approaches the Jedi Investigator once she has finished speaking to the commander of the Alliance troops for a moment, bows along with the Zabrak Master as they greet her.
"I am Master Jyotish, the sixty two year old Zabrak says upon rising from the bow, and indicates Berdine and Arduino as he introduces them in turn before continuing, I wish we were meeting under other circumstances, but . . . trailing off briefly with a shrug of his broad shoulders, Jyotish asks, Were you able to learn anything about the size of the enemy force being sent against Rendili?"

Colonel Marcas Ua'niall, commander of the regiment of Alliance troopers that will be assembled aboard the Maebh once the rest of the ships comprising the fleet that will be dispatched to aid in the defense of Rendili arrive, answers Vashity's question, "Close to 1700 troops, give or take. Rubbing his goatee'd chin, the Colonel, who has more than a little grey visible in his shaggy, longer than regulation shoulder length brown hair, shrugs with a bit of uncertainty as he addresses the matter of Alliance ships, With the Maebh and the pair of MC30c's we brought with us from Dantooine, I expect we'll have at least one more capital ship out there with us, probably a few more corvettes or the like too. It will depend on what was ready, available, and willing to jump into the fire with us when we put the call out. Grinning a bit madly, Marcas takes a cigarra from a pocket of his tactical vest and says, Probably be more'a them than us, but that's nothin' new, eh? As for when we leave, that'll depend on how fast the rest of us shag it here, then assemble all nice and neat to briefed. It's hurry up and wait for now, but I expect that will change soon."
As Marcas and the others wait to learn what intelligence Vashity had collected regarding the enemy fleet they are assembling to go out and challenge, the other Alliance ships and troops continue to arrive, with Alliance troops, along with the occasional soldier of fortune working with them, being shuttled to the Maebh to be briefed on the overall battle plan, which is a necessarily tentative and loose one given that they will be entering the field of battle after it has begun. As they have been unable to establish communication with Rendili's defense forces, they will also be entering the field with no idea what the overall picture will be.
Once the entire Alliance force, consisting of the Maebh and her MC30c's as well as one Gladiator-class Star Destroyer, one MC40a, and four Carrack-class light cruisers, has assembled, and all ground forces and their landing transports have landed in the Maebh's hangar, briefing of the ground forces begins as the fleet makes the jump to hyperspace.Continues here.

Exiting hyperspace, the Roanoke, a Centurion-Class Battlecruiser, followed by two Victory II-Class Star Destroyers and the MedStar-Class Frigate, emerged in orbit over Froz. Standing at the helm of the battlecruiser, one Cain Dracus was present. The cyborg monstrosity had felt an oddity within the Force. Something that stood out against the background noise of everything else. It felt wrong. Misplaced. And yet, it drew him here. Being a scientist and naturally drawn to the unknown, this 'disturbance', was something that Cain knew he had to investigate. Hopefully he'd be able to discover its source soon enough. Turning to the dark skinned Commander of the ship, Cain spoke. His harsh, metallic voice wheezed.
"Commander, ensure the exploration team from the Mercy is prepped for a first contact scenario. And make sure that the fleet stays in formation. The Mercy is to be protected at all costs."
Commander Vishkin nodded and carried out Cain's orders. The Mercy was the lone MedStar-Class Frigate. It was the mobile research station during the time Cain was away from his main lab. Everything was expendable, but this ship was not. Always stocked with specimens of the Dracus parasite, it also held anything else Cain might find useful. Test subjects, prisoners, animals and plantlife, it housed it all. Cain returned his focus to the planet before him. Something was here. And he intended to find out what it was...

Core Worlds - Froz First Order Medical Frigate: Mercy Medical Deck. Observation Room.
The usually white pristine walls of the surgery suite below, were covered in large growths, creeping brown tentacles and oozing pustules. The air was filled with a brown-green haze. Spores floated about. Skittering across the floor, several infection pods. Cain stood in the observation room overlooking the surgical suite. The Dracus, a virulent and parasitic lifeform that had been discovered within the Unknown Regions, had found its way into the hands of a Zabrak scientist, one Zekk Forge. Cain's father. Taking a sample from the doomed planet it was found on had sealed Zekk's fate. Being consumed by trying to figure out what made the parasite tick, he ultimately fell to his work. But Cain carried on his work. Having found a way to harness the Force and gain mental control over the Dracus, Cain now commanded a vast force of infected hosts. Though not all of them were currently active. After testing the limits of his mental capacity, Cain discovered that he couldn't control a force larger than seventy combat forms without losing control of them. So, each created or naturally infected individual was allowed to turn completely into the horrific monstrosity that was the Dracus, then placed into stasis. Most of the Dracus specimens were still back at his lab. But he brought a group of them here as both a test and a precaution. Something was very off with this world. Normally, a world would hum within the Force. Even a world as seemingly dead as Froz. But here, everything was off. Something felt wrong here. And while he couldn't get a significant read on the planet itself, he could get a reading off the vessel floating near the planet. It appeared as though it was 'painted', but further scans indicated it wasn't paint. It was something else entirely. Something biological. And that interested Cain greatly. Forget trying to weaponize this new disturbance for the First Order. No, this was his field of expertise. It was time for him to do what he needed to in order to get an audience with their new found Emperor, to showcase what he had accomplished with the Dracus. This would serve to be the final test he needed. And he would succeed, he was sure of it. Raising a clawed finger to his helmeted chin, he continued to contemplate his next course of action, while watching the Dracus below...

Far above the planet, the Vigge had maintained its constant, lifeless vigil over the Spread that had taken place below. Across the years, several fleets had appeared within sensor range, but they had never moved to engage the lone Galactic-class battle carrier, nor had they displayed any interest in the planet or the pathogen that now dominated it. With no threats to counter, the battle carrier had remained silent, monitoring all, attacking none.
Its slow, uneventful orbit kept the Leviathan Seed and its Crater visible on the planet. Some who were stationed on such a mindless defense task might have complained; thankfully, the Corruption had no such qualms to settle. Had the ship been properly manned, some heads might have turned at the arrival of another small fleet. As it was, there was no immediate response. The Vigge continued on, noting all four of the ships, and the transport craft that ran between two of them, but continued making no move to engage. If no aggression was shown, then there was no need to engage and risk the security of this central outpost.

"...Let me know when we arrive to Froz...” Kay watched impassively as her sleek, curvaceous form left the flight deck, lacing his fingers once more behind his head. Will do, boss. Hate to see you go, but love to watch you leave! After the girl had left the cockpit, Kay sniffed at his armpit, shrugging. He didn't smell that bad. Then he gripped his own 'mound of cloth' and shrugged once more. No accounting for taste. He'd never had complaints before, but the lady was entitled to her choices. He made some more subtle course corrections before locking in the navacomp once more and sitting back for the ride... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...Next post in Froz orbit... As the ship dropped out of hyperspace above Froz, Nova made her way back to the cockpit. This time in the company of Captain Jorge. The man responsible for her safety on this expedition. Nova stood behind the co-pilot seat, leaning against the back of it as she spotted the ships in orbit. On her list of things she was happy to find here, a First Order fleet was not one such item "Well that doesn't look good... Captain, please take us down quietly. That is something I think we both want to avoid..." Jorge crossed his arms and stood at the back of the cockpit, scowling at the assembled Imperial ships

MedStar-Class Frigate: Genesis - Froz's Orbit.
Having decided not to waste any time, Cain had gathered a team of specialists and a few guards for protection. The Galactic-Class Battle Carrier as the closest opportunity to study this biological anomaly in a controlled setting. The Terra Nova was positioned to fire upon the vessel, should the need arise, however aside from moving closer, it had taken no hostile action toward the derelict vessel. Several shuttles were prepared and currently resting in the Mercy's hangar bay, waiting to take the exploration teams over to the vessel identified as the Vigge. The armored, cyborg monstrosity that was Cain Dracus, stood next to the first shuttle.
"First Contact protocols are now in place. Do not shoot unless ordered to. Escort teams, maintain a safe distance of twenty meters at all times. Science teams, document only. No samples are to be taken until we've got an understanding of what we are dealing with. Hazmat suits are mandatory. No exceptions. And the Terra Nova is standing by to deal with any problems, should they arise. Decon suites will be set up in the hangar here by the time we get back. Everything you bring in, you bring back. And everything goes through decontamination upon our return. You know the drill..."
Cain's metallic, raspy voice trailed off as he boarded the shuttle. After the events on Csilla during the First Order's rise to power, Cain had designed the body glove of his suit from the ground up to be incorporated with his current armor. It was fully enclosed, allowed for operations in vacuum and hazardous environments and was easily decontaminated without removal from his person, which was a plus, considering he was as living being as he was armor plating and life support. Settling in, once everyone was aboard, the shuttles lifted off and exited the hangar bay of the Mercy and made their way over to the Galactic-Class Battle Carrier...

It didn't take long after the shuttles launched for the Vigge to break its status quo, some of its surface cannons beginning to realign themselves towards the incoming craft. Its hangar doors remained sealed, however, opting not to reveal the assortment of vehicles held within, and continuing to deny an easy access route should the craft be looking to board.
Across the consoles of the encroaching shuttles, an alert sounded with an incoming communication. Were it answered, a chorus of thousands of voices would sound in unison with three words.
::State your purpose.::
There was a finality to the message, an air of authority that carried through each of the voices as they spoke. This, along with the cannons turning to track the shuttles, left a very ominous feeling in the metaphorical air as they awaited a response.
It appeared the Vigge wasn't quite the derelict vessel it had seemed..

Across the consoles of the encroaching shuttles, an alert sounded with an incoming communication. Were it answered, a chorus of thousands of voices would sound in unison with three words.::State your purpose.:: The incoming communication was surprising, though hardly unexpected. Cain's initial readings on the ship indicated it was void of life as they perceived it, yet the readings were unusual. And unusual readings were what drove him. His scientific nature always wanted to explore the unknown. His Sith nature often drove him to the extremes, but he knew that handling the situation tactfully was the best approach when dealing with the unknown. The voices of thousands all speaking as one had distracted him, momentarily. Opening a comm channel, he replied. His harsh, wheezy mechanical voice rasping a response.I come seeking knowledge, nothing more. Most would see Cain speaking to the ship itself as odd, were it not for his work with the Dracus infection. Those present had witnessed his experiments and work first hand and knew that his was just another day as the Sith's aides. The shuttles, upon realizing they were being targeted by the seemingly derelict vessel, slowed their course and held position just outside the weapons' minimum effectiveness range, waiting for a reply...

The Republic-class Star Destroyer aptly named ‘The Last Stand’ sat in orbit over Froz alongside a pair of Bothan Assault Cruisers. The fall of the Galactic Alliance had been a devastating blow and the ripples were felt across the galaxy. Captain Eain Erso had mourned the loss for but a few moments in private before getting back to work. While the Alliance may have fallen, he still held an oath to protect the people under his command and get the civilians that had managed to get free of the First Order attacks to safety. For the time being, that safe haven was Froz.
But for how long that might last, was unknown. But Captain Erso was prepared for anything, with maintenance crews working to make as many repairs as they could. While he knew they would require a proper shipyards to affect any permanent repairs, it was not a luxury they would be afforded at present
