I am Dustin, I wirte Lord Garren / Jedi Master Shey Thuru (obviously as I am posting from the account). Most of you likely do not know me, as I had only bene on the old site for two weeks before it crashed and everything of mine wa slost, even my account. I am still new to JvS, but far from new to text-based RPG. I was with my old site for close to four years before the "architect" stole our donations and shut down the site, losing all of my writing. I found the old site on the search engine and it seemed like a great fit for me, not to mention the dedication the administrators seem to show. So here I am.
Background/Experience: As for real world experience, not much to tell. I have an Associates of Computer Science as well as Business Management. (Still in school to work on my BA of CS.) I work for a local programming and networking company, am married, and have a 3 week old son. I have been involved in text-based role playing for close to 10 years now. I have lead "Empires" and writing teams alike. I have also followed and simply blended in with the general populace. I have even administrated and created. Summing it all up, I am quite experienced.
Writing: My writing style slightly varies, depending on how much time I have to write and the day I am having. Sometimes you will see epic posts that will likely drop your jaw at the length, and sometimes you will see 3 to 4 paragraphs. I try to never write less then 2 paragraphs though. I always try and fill my posts with quality writing and descriptive wording. Sometimes the description part is slightly lacking, but that is normally due to time restraints. (Between work and a family, finding time to sit and really write is hard.) I am very open to ideas and more then willing to work others in to my storyline.
Now, for the purpose of this thread. I am looking for writers to join me as part of a "writing team". This is a call to Sith, Jedi, and every other affiliation out there. I have a Sith (Lord Garren), and this Jedi account. I am also not against creating a third account to accomidate someone who may want to write and wouldn't be able to fit their characters in to my current two. I am open to most all ideas and am more then willing to work with you on coming up with a comprimise. If you would be interested in joining a writing team, this is it.
Lord Garren: Lord Garren recently gained the title of Sith Lord after completing the very LONG training under his old master and having slain his Force Ghost. He is now on a galactic wide search for "knowledge" and is seeking out not only sites related to Sith, but the different Sith factions themselves. Once he has slated his crave for knowledge, he will determine what his legacy shall be.
Lord Garren's SL is pretty much wide open to accomidate just about anyone who may want to write with him.
Jedi Master Shey Thuru: Master Thuru is currently at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He has been having visions of a Sith Lord (Lord Garren), and is currently working to try and locate him. This will lead him all across the galaxy and take him on many adventures. Eventually he will find Lord Garren and lose his head to him.
