The battlefield was already a masive carnage, blaster fire had scarred the terrain and even blown hills to dust. The Imperials were well-trenched and held a defensive position. But the Coallition had air superiority and they slowly started to pound the tyrant's strongholds one by one. The U-wings unloaded assault troops in key points and they managed to take the e-wing nests and clear a path for infantry. The walkers employed by the Coallition, including AT-ATs, AT-TEs, AT-ST and some Balmorran designs were in a pitched duel with those fielded by the tyrant's, but again the starfighters proved essential. One of the Oathkeeper's squadrons managed to blow one of the towering four-legged mechanical beasts, openning a gap in the enemy lines, with the lighter Coallition walkers pouring in, followed by the assault troops, with bombers providing cover, trying to avoid the thick anti-aircraft ordnance protecting the shield generator. Ostrenis saw the chance and ordered a full offensive on the newly-created gap, diverting resources to that particular area. Finally, one of the AT-ATs managed to square-hit the structure housing the generator and, weakened by the fighters' blaster fire, it was blown up rather spectacularly. The shields flickered, tilted and disappeared. Ossa-Prime was open to capture. The admiral then diverted few squadrons to help take the fortress, while the ground troopers and walkers cleaned the field wiping out pockets of resistance. The heavier ordnance and war machinery was then set to the way to Ossa-Prime itself, while starfighters held the air superiority. The Oathkeeper sent shuttles to the field to help out taking the wounded on board the star destroyer and unto Jameroo's own medical frigates on orbit.

Done. Included 20 multi-purpose launchers. More seemed overkill.

"That's a bold move, indeed..."
He scratched his bald head.
"But could work. It's risky, though. But worth a try, I just hope our cassualties will be limited. If you need cover fire I will point few of my turbolasers to the fortress, that will at least weaken their will to fight. And our fighters are ready to pound their defenses"
The admiral crosses both arms over his chest.
"May the Force be with us. I'm ready, indeed, I will signal the fighters, shuttles and troops to start moving"
Soon thereafter, X-wings, B-wings and U-wings left the hangar bay, providing cover to the troopers and vehicles already marching towards both the battlefield and the fortress. One could even glance imperial walkers among the ordnance employed in the assaults. Repulsor vehicles took the lead, scouting and cleaning the first enemy positions, including a few e-web nests. Explosions and cries for help started to arise. Ostrenis watched the proceedings from an holoboard in his bridge, shapes moving over the holographic, wavering terrain. Commands were issued and reports were sent. The battle for Ossa-Prime had started: the field battle was already erupting, with the Coallition forces crossing the river and engaging the trenched Imperials, while starfighters engaged in a beautiful dance of death over their heads. The Duros checked the advance of Marshall's division through the uneven terrain.
May the Force be with us, indeed.

Okay, edited. Since it didn't carry massive amounts of troops, apparently, just the GAG personnel (around 1,000) and the other features were more prominent I trimmed it down, both the sensor jamming and the troop space deleted from the special gear. As it's right now the ship would be worth 16 points, which I think it's rather fair for a flagship like this one; all things considered, one point over the limit is far better than three and, tbh, I don't think I can cut down any other point.

Zion himself told me that being a canon ship it could, and should- go over limits. Originally, I had set it at 15, but he said I should include the points from cloaking and the speed&agility I had removed originally. He said the cloaking needed two, one for sensor jamming and another for the device itself, that's why it has the jamming system. But I could remove that and add leave the cloaking as it it's. Maybe it could, indeed, be an Anakin Solo refit -canon custom-, as maybe the standard refit only has the gravity wells and not the cloaking. However, I do think that the firepower is a 5, since the standard ISDII is a four and this one has more weapons and those frontal turbolasers. Considering the ship could face the Hapan fleet all on its own and command campaigns the firepower must have been... substantial.

The long-range turbolasers were described as being quite devastating in the very novel series. I mean, if they had to shut down all but the live-sustenance systems to fire them and it slowed the recharge rate of all the other guns it must have been... naughty haha. Anyway, the cloaking device and the sensor jamming is something these ships could acommodate, so, why not? If it's a canon of a custom canon it's still a canon.

It could be called "a canon custom". But yes, it's canon. All three ISD issued by the GA are described as having the gravity well generators, so I guess the broader modifications apply to every other model of the line. I think Jacen's specifications came with the interior, like the inclusion of a supercomputer, secret chambers -like one with an Embrace of Pain- and a large detention facility. However, that could also include the cloaking device, but I feel it fits well the ship's role and, to be honest, I find the concept of a cloaking ISD fascinating.

Imperial II GA-class Star DestroyerShip Class: Star Destroyer Ship Role: Destroyer, Carrier, Command Ship Ship Length: 1,600 meters Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 5 Speed (S): 2 Special Gear: 3 (Gravity Well Generator, Cloaking device) Description: after the devastation brought by the Yuuzhang Vong upon the Galaxy and well into the war -when loses started to be substantial-, the Galactic Alliance commenced a process of much-needed restructuration that continued well after the conflict was finished. Among other things, a new military facility was constructed over Coruscan't orbit, the Crix Madine Madine Military Reserve, named after the deceased Rebel hero. From that facility were issued a number of retrofit and upgraded ISD-IIs that were named after figures from the Alliance: Mon Mothma, Anakin Solo -much to the chagrin of Jaina and Han Solo- and Elegos A'kla. The newly-launched destroyers received several upgrades and were the first among the Imperial-class to have gravity well generators. More so, they weren't exposed and vulnerable, like those in both the Dominator and Interceptor classes, but well within the ship's hull, making them versatile interceptor ships with the full power of an ISD. Also, the ship had state-of-the-art weaponry, including four masive turbolasers at the ship's nose, which were capable of delivering enormous damage at long range. However, the improved weaponry and the gravity wells consumed large amounts of energy and thus the engine and shield power were below those of the standard-issued Star Destroyers. Many of the ship's non-essential systems had to be shut down prior to firing the large frontal turbolasers or else the power output would fry them completely. Among the included weaponry there are baradium and concussion missile launchers, proton torpedoes and advanced anti-starfighter cannons. Another special addition that the Anakin Solo was a "cloaking cone" integrated midway into the ship's hull which, combined with sensor jamming, made the ship virtually undetectable and invisible. 8 octuple barbette turbolaser cannons, 60 heavy turbolaser batteries, 65 heavy turbolaser cannons, 22 heavy ion cannons, 2 heavy tractor beam projectors, 10 tractor beam projectors, 66 ion cannons, 20 multi-purpose missile-launchers (concussion, baradium, proton torpedos) and 52 point defense laser cannons and, of course, 4 long-range heavy turbolaser at the ship's nose make up its array of weapons The ship hangar can hold up to 72 fighters, a full wing. However, the space has been adapted for the variety of starfighters fielded by the Galactic Alliance and can also hold smaller freighters like YV-666 or YT-1300 models, removing the usual TIE racks on ISDs. The Anakin Solo became the most important vessel of its kind as it was the flagship of Jacen Solo, later known as Darth Caedus, serving as his mobile headquarters and fighting in several battles like that of Kashyyk and the one which ended in the destruction of Centerpoint Station.

With the Star Destroyer looming on the horizon, it seemed that the Coallition was determined to put an end to any warlordism in the system. The large ship was a dire threat, even if Ostrenis would never glass a city still brimming with innocent bystanders. However, the assault was being prepared. The meeting room in the Oathkeeper served as an in promptu command center, with the Corellian officers studying the defenses and the reports of scout ships and speeders.
Ossa Prime was, of course, shielded, which avoided long-range bombardment -even could take the pounding from a star destroyer for a time-. Certain choke points were fortified, with tall walls and at least three strongholds, protected by what seemed heavy imperial ordnance. On the battlefield, a line of old AT-ATs surrounded by smaller and agile AT-ST, older models all of them, but still nothing to be disdainful of. TIEs, like vultures, circled around the potential battlefield. There were some e-webs nests and trenches, brimming with navy troopers, militiamen and a few stormtroopers -most of them acting as field commanders-. Ahead of the Coallition Forces were two options: they could either attack the Eastern Stronghold, protecting the way to the tyrant's palace -itself a fortified residence- or they could face the Imperials on the field. The warlord had placed the aforementioned forces behind a river, not too deep, not too wide, and they were outside the shield. Beyond it laid the shield generator itself, which would let the city bare to easy assault.
The first option would grant inmediate access to Ossa Prime and, maybe, the tyrant itself, but the stronghold was heavily fortified, shielded, loses could be substantial. The second, on the other hand, could be hard fought, but the Corellian forces had aerial superiority and modern ordnance; once taken, though, they would have a longer way to the capital and its vital points. Ostrenis himself, supported by his staff, proposed to face the warlord forces on the field, aided by U-wings, X-wings and the powerful, and versatile, air force of the Coallition, maybe while doing a diversion against the stronghold. The numbers and the sheer strenght fielded were in favour of the Coallition, but, still, one always must be cautious and prudent in times of war, for every human loss was imposible to replace. And the admiral, at least, wanted to keep casualties as low as possible.

"Resistance eliminated"
"Report loses"
The numbers scrolled on the holographic console. He knew some of the men and women that had died. Good soldiers. They didn't die in vain, he hoped. At least his wings' commanders had survived and all over the places the ships remained in good condition. Only minor repairs and adjustments. The Oathkeeper itself had held up quite well against enemy fire. The dead would be mourned and honored, but not yet, there was duty still to be carried. A planet to be liberated.
"Order the transports to proceed. Made a protective circle with the corvettes. And prepare the ship for atmospheric flight. Send word to the other commanders that the Oathkeeper may serve as a meeting point once we're over the planet's surface"
The Corellian corvettes started to position themselves around the transports that had left the hangar bays and were heading to surface, then, the destroyer engaged his sublight engines and started going down as well. Soon, they were crossing the upper layers of the atmosphear and the ship positioned itself all over one of the landing places, the transports unloading their cargo under the destroyer's massive shadow. The menacing shape of the Imperial Star Destroyer was a threat all by itself. The corvettes patrolled the surrounding area while the destroyer's powerful sensors scanned the planet, trying to get intel for the land troops.

"Full impact, admiral. Their hull must be somewhat compromised, we have punctured the ship's surface and the damage to their systems must be extensive"
"Good. Tilt the ship by the indicated degrees, then continue to pound them with our octuple batteries"
Replied Ostrenis, who was still monitoring all the activities from his holoconsole. The Honor of Dac, in turn, was showering the Victory turning to face it with a barrage of ion fire, while the powerful turbolasers followed suit. The many impacts on the deflectors looked like New Alderaanian fireworks. The Oathkeeper, like a dagger, was advancing through the gap left by two Victories, specially since one of them was trying to pull off. The Nebulons then took their new positions, hovering over the Oathkeeper's flanks and supporting the flagship's attack. Both cruisers were tuning their firing systems quite admirably, with one helping the MonCal cruiser on the left and the other firing the already weakened Victory on the right.
"Full barrage, break their formation"
He could see the triangular shape of the destroyer, flanked by the dots of the starfighter wings, cuting through the enemy line like butter. And then, he saw it. The third Victory had turned its atention to the Oathkeeper, taking the bait as expected.
"Phoenix squadron, full power head, engage. Target shield generators and turbolaser batteries"
With the dagger-shaped cruiser trying to bombard and open fire against Ostrenis' flagship it had left unattended its very own flank. Suddenly, the Phoenix cruiser's fighter wings were upon it, having done a flanking manouver as instructed. Exploiting its weakness. The bomber started delivering their explosive ordnance against the exposed hull of the Victory, targeting the weaponry on the right flank, while others took the shield generator domes as target. The starfighters rushed in to destroy any flying resistance, hunting down the cruiser's TIE wings. The Duros smiled slightly, with satisfaction, waiting the reports from the sensors and the starfighter commander.

"Report"
"Some fighters were shot down or disabled, but the wings seem to be in good condition. The commanders are in control and following orders accordingly. The enemy shields' have received a good amount of damage, sir"
"Good. How're the Phoenix squadrons doing?"
"Their vector is approaching the critical point, they will soon be able to flank the enemy"
"Good. Full speed ahead, divert power to frontal deflectors"
He draws a vector on the holoscreen in front of him.
"An offensive manouver to distract them from the flanking starfighters. Prepare a full barrage to cover our advance. Focus on the Victory to our right. When we're close I want all our ion cannons to focus on said ship, followed by our octuple batteries on the side"
The admiral clicks the comm.
"Jehengir, follow suit. Aggresive manouver, advance and hit the Victory on our future left flank"
"Yes, admiral"
"Blockade runners, form up around the bridge's tower, provide screening for incoming fighters. Full deflector power, you may absorb some incoming turbolaser shots. Nebulons, take cover on our back once we take position go over our octuple bateries and provide anti-capital fire against the enemy cruisers"
On the comms one could hear the different commanders barking orders. The fighters started to regroup around the flagship, while the bombers continued harassing the enemy ships with their own escorts. The Corellian corvettes left the shadow provided by the ship's aft, positioning themselves in an envolving arc before the bridge itself. The Nebulons arranged themselves behind the Star Destroyer, ready to execute the said manouver. The Honor of Dac was covering the flank, slightly behind the charging Star Destroyer. The shapes of every ship detailed on the bridge's large consoles.

"Provide cover for the admiral. Vectors on screen"
Said the admiral, clicking on his command chair's holographic console. More displays of the same nature had appeared, tilting slightly, around him, the placements of both enemy and allied ships. The data provided by the other ship's crews appeared, with several ships moving slowly over the reddish holographic surface.
"They're going to take on both Imperials, let's form against the Victories on their left. Oathkeeper in front, Honor of Dac covering the flank and Nebulons as backup. Blockade runners, hide in the mass of the destroyer and be ready to take down enemy fighters. Fighter wings, engage enemy fighters and escort bombers so they can deliver their ordnance"
The crew pits were a hub of activity, officers focusing on their consoles, officers barking orders. Their screens were filled with numbers, data, schematics.
"Phoenix squadrons, form on our left, prepare to flank their formation, crossfires on front, bombers behind. Eyeballs and Dying suns, escort the Hardpoint and the Dac's Avenger bomber squadrons"
The TIEs holographic shapes started to form up with the larger and mightier B-wings, full speed ahead. The commanders' voices could be heard in the communicators, organizing their wings.
"Full frontal barrage on the nearest cruiser. Honor of Dac, follow suit"

The consoles started beeping as the ship abruptly left hyperspace. The coordinates were right, after several blinks familiar shapes appeared all around. The huge dagger-shaped Oathkeeper lumbered over the Liberator carrier, covering it with it's mass, allowing the deployment of fighters, which, as per agreed, were also leaving the destroyer's huge ventral hangar bay, the TIEs launched by the rakes, while the others took off by more traditional methods. The Honor of Dac, took position by the Oathkeeper's side, while the Nebulons took the other flank and the fighters formed up in close ranks, separated by squadrons and wings, the commanders already barking orders.
"Admiral, everyone here ready at their combat stations"
"Copied here, commander, proceed as instructed"
Said Jehengir's booming voice from the comm. He had been given command of the recently conscripted MonCal cruiser, leading a mixed-race crew which mostly comprised daring and willing aliens all hailing from Dac's watery surface. Ostrenis had been standing on the bridge's aft, where he saw as the blue lines of hyperspace had blinked and turned pitch black again. In the meanwhile, the ship was fully ready for combat as they had been preparing overhand. The systems were check. Deflectors, aiming software, sublight engines... The admiral walked slowly to his command chair, one retrofited from an old Home One class starcruiser, and he took a seat.

"Good. I will gladly fight by your side, doctor"
Said the admiral, stern.
"I don't wish to entertain and steal more time from you, Lynne Jameroo. I also have to make a new ship to be ready for combat and that will take time. I wish we can meet up soon and we will stay in contact over the refugees"

"That's a relief, usually one of the roles eclipses the others, as they can be obstrusive; a politician might not be a good doctor. But you're seemingly handling it pretty well"
Said the admiral.
"Me and my crew receive your compliments very and truly gladly, doctor. By the way, we do have a medical frigate, which is being retrofitted with schematics provided by Corellian technicians. But, we could probably have use for your own, as well, shall the need arises, because two of such ships could be invaluable and your expertise in combat medicine would come in handy, specially with liberated planets"

"I'm glad, I just did what I must. My first duty is towards people, that's why I keep fighting"
Said the admiral, chain raised.
"Such a level of commitment is unheard of, mostly, they throw refugees into concrete barracks. Cold and sterile. The life conditions aren't too good for some species. I'm thankful for such a dedication, doctor, and I trust your word on the settlements, worry not"
He puts both hands on belt.
"I have many MonCal and Quarren who have offered themselves to serve in the fleet, many were previously officers, either in their planetary forces or for the Republic. Many of them have families, families that you're in charge of relocating: they will fight better and find peace of mind if they're properly taken care of. I hope these settlements are well supplied as well, I often seen the inadequacy of such newly-made populations"
The admiral looks at the doctor again.
"We also have data on most the refugees' professions and skills, they will seriously bolster the manpower of the Coallition: you got engineers, astrophysics, comercial pilots, mechanics... but also, something invaluable, historians, poets, musicians, writers... Try to make the proper contacts so they find a job according to their trajectories, we don't want a senior researcher in galactic History working as a waiter in a greasy bar"
