Banol's Maze is the remnant of the southernmost sector of Wortan, which, during the Mandalorian Wars, had suffered heavy damage, collapsing tunnels and destroying stores. The result is this labyrinth of ruins.

Sometime after the events on Dxun transpired and the Blackguard conquest of Mustafar.
Somewhere beneath a destroyed store within the Banol's maze lays a secret laboratory which belongs to Lord Znalost. This underground facility is where Znalost does his research and experiments which involve Sith Alchemy and science.
Znalost walked into a large room with a operating table in the middle and several force sensitive crystals which formed a circle around the table. Laying on the table is a large human male, who would appear to be struggling to escape but can't due to the fact that he is strapped down onto the table. Several Security droids were stationed at the exits of the room. Standing near the operating table was a human male with grey hair and sporting glasses.
Sir, the subject is ready. We can began whenever you're ready."
"That is good to hear Doctor. Began the recording, we shall save this moment and add it to our records."
Of course sir.
Doctor Giles walked over to a holo recording device and pressed a button. Znalost walked over to to the operating table and began to channel the force through the crystals and himself. Sparks of red force lightning sprung from crystal to crystal and than to himself. He then directed it at the man laying on the operating table. The screams of the man could be heard throughout the underground laboratory, even though no one would ever hear the screams. It could be seen in Znalost's one exposed eye that he was actually enjoying the experiment. He then began to chant something in an old and forgotten language. Znalost then stopped and so did the red force lightning. The man on the table opened his eyes and they soon began to glow red, his skin began to lose it's hue and was soon pale white.
"Doctor release him, and bring him the armored robes that we had made."
Yes sir, at once.
Doctor Giles left the room and soon returned with the armored robes and was about to release the man until Znalost raised his hand and walked over to the man with a syringe in hand that was filled with a bright red serum, Znalost then injected the man with the serum.
Sir, what was that?
"It's a serum that I designed to suppress the subject's higher brain functions."
Znalost motioned the Doctor to go and release the mutated man. Once the man was release he sat up and turned around then stood in front of the table. The Doctor laid the armored robes on the table and proceeded to walk back to the holo recorder. Once the man was fully dressed in the armored robes, all that could be seen was the red glowing eyes coming from the helmet.
"Doctor, make sure to get the next part. For we are going to test our creation."
Znalost motioned the giant to move forward and it did. He motioned for it to stop and it did. Doctor Giles could tell from Znalost's one exposed eye that he was impressed with their creation. Znalost walked over to a terminal and pressed a button and seconds later two B1 Battle droids entered the room as well as a servant droid carrying a large vibro-axe. The servant droid walked over to the giant and the giant picked up the vibro-axe. Znalost motioned for the giant and the battle droids to attack each other. Znalost was impress as he watched the giant run towards the battle droids and quickly dispatched them. Znalost knew that the giant had be hit by one of the droids blaster rifles.
"Doctor we shall began with subject two shortly. See that Subject One is taken care of."
Doctor Giles nodded and proceeded to walk out of the room with subject one walking behind him. Znalost pressed another button on the terminal and shortly two cleaning droids come in to clean up the mess that subject one had left. Znalost knew that the success of subject one meant that the holocrons that he managed to collect were right about the procedure to create Imperial Sentinels. Which would mean that it would also be correct on the other sith alchemy rituals, and Znalost couldn't wait to get started.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory
Some time had passed since Znalost created the first two Imperial Sentinels, now he has two personal guards with him at all times.
Znalost walked into the main research wing and activated a holo terminal, a list of secret projects appeared all which had some sort of code name. Znalost moved his cybernetic hand over the name of one project; Project Lazarus. A sudden burst of information appeared on the holo terminal. Znalost began reviewing the project details, he knew for a fact that Sith'ari Savage would not appreciate this particular project. Znalost had made it a point to read up on all of Savage's former apprentices, which appeared to be a wise move now that one of them is a member of the Blackguard. The apprentice who had the most interesting file was Cain Dracus, the man himself was less interesting than his pets. The Dracus was something that fascinated Znalost and for all of the information he had on it, it would seem as though they would make the perfect soldiers. Znalost knew that Viox disliked Cain and his dracus because of the fact they were unpredictable, Project Lazarus was a way for Znalost to create the perfect soldiers. Ones who would be completely obedient, and who could never fall on the battlefield and ones who could create more allies. Znalost activated another part of the holo terminal which brought up a map of Korriban, and important information regarding the history/myths of the planet. One myth that interested Znalost was the one of guardians of the tombs in the valley of Golg and the valley of the Dark lords. This myth stated that one could reanimate the dead by using Sith Alchemy and magic. In theory the same results could be achieved by using Sith Alchemy and science. The holocrons that he collected did mention a ritual that could be used in conjunction with an experimental serum that he was in the middle of developing; Tx-14. Znalost deactivated the holoterminals and proceeded to walk out of the room, and as he did so the Imperial Sentinels began to follow suit. Znalost was headed to the landing pad which housed his ship the Silent Observer, he would go to Korriban and head for the Valley of Golg. Once there hopefully Znalost would find what he needed to begin Project Lazarus.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory
As Znalost entered the landing pad which was on level one, he motioned for his sentinels to stay put as this undertaking was his alone. Znalost had some big plans for the undead tomb guardians, all of which would be revealed in time once he was ready. Entering his ship, Znalost pushed a few buttons which caused the ceiling of the landing pad to open revealing the top part of the maze. The Silent Observer began it's take off, soon he would be in orbit and then a small hyperspace jump and he would be at his destination. While he traveled he would have to take a look at the research that he already did and see if a more precise location could not be determined. For Valley of Golg on Korriban was where he was headed, but what tomb would the guardians be in or should he say what tomb would there remains be in. Since that the tomb guardians could still be active or they could have been terminated, nothing in his research specified. At least he would have some time to figure it out before he would arrive, he thought as The Silent Observer made its way into Iridonia's Orbit.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory
The ground opened up to reveal the landing pad of Znalost Laboratory. The Silent Observer's landing gear opened as it was nearly on the landing pad. Once the ship had landed safely the opening above the landing pad closed, once again hiding the location of the Lab. The ramp of the ship extended, and Znalost began to walk down it followed by the two servant droids and status pod that housed the Korriban zombie. Waiting for Znalost was Doctor Giles and the two Sentinels.
"Hello Doctor, Is the containment cell ready?"
Yes Sir. The level three containment cell has been prepared.
"Good, Turning to the two servant droids who were carrying the status pod. You two take the pod down to sub-level five."
The Droids proceeded to take the status pod to the turbolift that would take them down to sub-level five. Znalost continued to walk towards his personal chambers with Doctor Giles following beside him and the two sentinels behind them. Znalost's current appearance showed that his expedition was rough, his tunic for one had clear burn marks, and both of his cybernetic mask and arm showed signs of damage.
Sir, While you were away I take the liberty to engineer and construct an updated version of both your mask and arm. They of course also have major upgrades included.
Znalost stopped and so did Giles and the sentinels also stopped. Znalost turned his head to Giles and then spoke.
"Then let us proceed to the medbay. Along the way tell me about the upgrades."
Giles nodded as the party began moving towards the medbay where Znalost's new cybernetic mask and arm awaited him.
The mask will not only allow you to see in the dark, but now it will allow you to see in low infrared to high ultra violet. It can also properly filter out toxins, and it will provide extra protect to your head. The Arm now has a built in holographic scanner which will allow you to scan the environment of wherever you are, also the arm's output strength has been increased. A holo-communicator has been built into the arm as well. A new black and grey tunic has also been made to replace the one you're currently wearing.
"Well done, Doctor. You have far exceeded my expectations for the updated versions of my cybernetic parts, I do look forward to testing the new features."
Znalost, Giles and the two sentinels continue to make their way to the medbay. Once there, Znalost would have the new cybernetic mask and arm installed, and have the old ones along with his old white tunic taken to his personal chambers where they would be placed upon a glass mannequin right beside the one that had his tunic from his days before the blackguard. This was a way for Znalost to look back and see how far he had come. After having the new mask and arm installed he would take a quick rest to clear his head, then he would proceed with the experiments.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory
With his new arm and mask equipped and wearing his new black and grey tunic, Znalost made his way over to a turbolift that would take him down to sub-level five were his only specimen of the korriban zombie was being held. As Znalost reached the turbolift, Doctor Giles stopped, and spoke.
Sir, I may have forgot to mention it, but I did hire a researcher. His name is Doctor Peter Vellek and his area of specialization is the brain, I thought that he would make an excellent addition.
"Very well, Giles. Anything else i should be aware of?"
Well sir, there was an cybernetics expert that I believe could be of assistance to your cause.
"Who is it?"
A female twi'lek named Ashaa, I have her working on several small projects as a way to test her skill level.
"Well done, Giles. What is Doctor Vellek currently working on?"
He is on sub-level five getting scans of the specimen's brain activity. If you would allow it, I would like to check on Ashaa to see how she is doing.
"Very well Giles you are dismissed. I will be on Sub-level five should I be needed."
Znalost entered the turbolift and hit the sub-level five button. Doctor Giles headed towards the laboratory's cybernetics development workshop.
Sub-level Five
Znalost exited the turbolift and walked towards the containment cell that held the specimen. As Znalost entered the room he could see an older man in a lab coat staring at a monitor that appeared to have the brain wave activity of the specimen displayed on it. Znalost had to assume that the balding man in the lab coat was Vellek.
"Doctor Velleck, I presume. What can you tell me on the specimen's brain wave activity so far?"
Still staring at the monitor, Doctor Vellek responded, to Znalost.
Pleasure to meet you my Lord. It would appear that the specimen is of semi-sentient. I would have to view a test subject before and after the zombification process to get more accurate result before I can give a proper report.
"Fair enough, soon we will have many test subjects for to to view and gather data. For now though let us begin."
Znalost and Doctor Vellek began to collect data on the korriban zombie. Znalost having restariened the specimen to a operating table began to dissect the specimen in order to get a better understanding of the genetic makeup. Znalost remove what was left of the internal organs and handed them over to Doctor Vellek to study. The Korriban Zombie howled every time Znalost removed a piece of it, Znalost was careful to keep the specimen alive until they had some test subject that would be infected by the Korriban zombie. Doctor Vellek was quickly scanned and imputed the data of the internal organs as they seemed to be decomposing quickly. Vellek smiled as this was that most fun he has had in a long time. Vellek was quickly impressed with how efficiently Lord Znalost dissected the living corpse.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory Sub-level Five
Lord Znalost and Doctor Vellek finished dissecting the living corpse, which now was back inside of its containment cell. Vellek was busy studying the results that they had gathered from their first experiment. Znalost was watching the corpse stumble around inside the containment cell. I need some test subjects, to determine if the myth of these creatures being able to turn others into more of them is true or not. Znalost thought. He walked over to subject one who was standing guard at the turbolift door.
"Subject One, we need some test subjects. Go to Wortan and gather some for us. The homeless won't be missed take them first." Znalost paused, then continued,"You may need to make more than one trip."
Subject one responded with a grunt and then proceeded to take the turbolift up to the surface so that he may complete his assignment. Znalost walked up to Vellek and waited for the doctor to finish reviewing the data, before addressing him.
"What do you make of all of this, Doctor?"
Well, if i had to venture an educated guess I would say that we could start to make synthetic version of the virus, but without the data of the test subjects turning it wouldn't be complete.
"I understand, began the process and inform when Subject one returns with our test subjects."
Of course My Lord
Znalost walked to the turbolift so that he may head up and check on Giles and the cybernetics expert that he had hired.
Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory, Cybernetics Workshop
Giles having made his way and checked on Ashaa the female twi'lek that he had hired when Lord Znalost went on his expedition to Korriban to retrieve a live specimen for project Lazarus. Ashaa was busy ata workbench tinkering with a cybernetic eye which the iris was bright gold. The workshop's door opened and Znalost walked in, Giles made his way to him and followed him as he walked towards the twi'lek.
"How much has Giles told you of our operations here?"
Giles almost about to speak up, stopped once Znalost motioned for him to remain silent. Giles did so as not wanting to anger his master. Ashaa placed the cybernetic eye down and turned around so that she was facing Lord Znalost.
What Doctor Giles told is that you were indeed of someone of my talents.She points to Znalost's arm and mask. I'm the one who made those updated versions, sure Doctor Giles assisted me with certain aspects of it. It is however purely my design.
"Well done, Ashaa. They are a work of art. I look forward to your next invention. Giles with me there are things we must discuss."
Znalost proceeded to exit the workshop with Giles following closely behind, then Subject two who was waiting outside of the workshop also began to follow the pair. Ashaa let out a sign of relief and turned back around so that she may continue to tinker on the cybernetic eye.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory Sub-level Five
It had been a few day since Znalost had meet with his new subordinates, and since he first sent out subject one to gather test subjects for project lazarus. He had sent out subject one and two about every other night to collect more test subjects from wortan. Now that the containment cells were full of newly created Korriban Zombies, although since they weren't on Korriban and they were created using both sith alchemy and science Znalost decided to give his creations a new name. He called them the Wortan Zombies, in "honor" of the test subjects who participated in the process. Giles, Vellek and Ashaa had all been working on a way to control the Wortan Zombies and a way to implement many safety protocols. Znalost's team come up with the idea to cybernetically enhance the zombies to implement control. The data compiled on them showed that they could still wield a weapon, which was good. Znalost had even hired a mercenary from Wortan to act as his head of Security, named Thomas Boles. This man come with a small team of people he had work with before. Each member of the security team was in charge of a group of ten refurbished B1 Battle droids.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory Sub-level Five
Weeks had gone by and the Wortan Zombies were now an abundance resource for Znalost and his team to experiment with. Znalost made sure to note in his findings that the Wortan Zombies were uncontrollable, and were extremely dangerous. Likely for him Ashaa, the cybernetics expert that Doctor Giles hired, had worked out a way to fully control the zombies. Her way was to cybernetically enhance the zombies with a serum that was one part Sith Alchemy and the other part cybernetics, the serum was design to incapacitate the creatures so that Ashaa could start integrating the cybernetic parts into them. The result of this serum was that it stopped the decaying process and made the creatures easier to work on, his team worked on integrating the cybernetic parts into the decaying flesh of the creatures. The result was something that would give those who were of a sane mindset pause when staring upon them, you could clearly see most of the new cybernetic parts in them while some like the safety protocole chip was buried deep within their skulls, which could be activated by either Znalost himself or doctor Giles/Velleck. Once the chip was activated it would detonate small explosives throughout the creatures body rendering them nothing more than a pile of decayed flesh and bile with no working cybernetics. The new cybernetically enhanced Wortan Zombies followed every order to the letter, if one could see below Znalost's mask they would see a sinister smile. Velleck, Giles and Ashaa worked on suits of battle armour that would better protect the perfect "soldiers", it would only take a few weeks for the first battalion of Wortan Zombies to be combat ready.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory, Cybernetics WorkshopWhile Lord Znalost was away and attending to official Blackguard business, Doctor Giles and the Cybernetics expert Ashaa began to work on the early stages of Znalost's next project. As to where Doctor Vellek was, he went with Znalost to Ziost so that he could monitor the data from a field test of Cerberus Battalion. Ashaa was at her workbench reviewing the data that had been collect from Znalost's mask and arm, when Doctor Giles entered the room. There you are, my dear. I've been looking for you.And why is that Doctor?Lord Znalost has instructed me to proceeded with the early states of his next project and wanted you to assist me.What type of Project is it? It's not like Project Lazarus, is it? Ashaa had turned around to face Giles as she asked the question. She wasn't a big fan of project Lazarus, she find it disgusting and dreadful. Doctor Giles walked closer to her, before answering her questions.I can assure you that this project is nothing like Project Lazarus. He calls this one Project Legacy, Lord Znalost had this idea of copying or transferring a conscious mind from a brain into a computer. For what end, I don't know.Doctor Giles pulled out a datapad which contain the details of the project and handed it over to Ashaa. She grabbed it and began to review all of the data within it. All the while think about how they could achieve such a thing, Lord Znalost had dubbed the process Mind Uploading. In the datapad, it stated that Lord Znalost wanted a prototype by the time he returned. I think we can build a prototype. Although I'm not sure if it would work, I assume our Lord wants to be here to witness the first test.That's good news and you assume correctly, my dear. Shall we began?Yes, let us.Doctor Giles and Ashaa started to gather the materials they needed so that they could began building the first prototype of Project: Legacy. While they worked both of them began to wonder what purpose this project served,they however knew better than to ask. They would wait until Lord Znalost told them, which Giles assumed he would.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory.
It had been months since Lord Znalost's return to Iridonia from the Blackguard Siege of Ziost. Doctor Giles and Ashaa had finished designing and building a prototype device for Project Legacy, but before Lord Znalost could test it he had his team begin working on a new project that involved using the Abraxas amulet. The idea that they landed on was to add a cybernetic component to the amulet and embed it into one's chest.
The component has been added m'lord
"Good, have Giles and Vellek prepare a room for the procedure."
Yes M'lord, right away
Ashaa took her leave and found both Doctor Giles and Vellek and gave them Lord Znalost's instructions. Lord Znalost walked over to a holo projector and keyed in the Sith'ari's frequency. He stepped forward and in Sith he spoke, My lord, the amulet is ready.
"Nuyak ari, tave ginelkira buti guvus."

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory
With the Sith'ari's reply the holo call ended. Thomas Boles the head of the Laboratory's security was standing behind Znalost. Znalost turned around and faced Thomas and spoke to him.
"Thomas, you are to take ten 'soldiers' from the Cerberus battalion and meet The Sith'ari in Wortan. Is that understood?"
Yes sir, understood.
With his orders Thomas Boles and the ten soldiers made their way to a turbolift and took it up to the entrance of the Laboratory. Thomas and his welcoming committee made their way from the Banol's Maze and into Wortan to await the arrival of the Sith'ari.

Banol's Maze, nearby the Entrance of Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory.
Thomas lead the Sith'ari to the destroyed building that sat above Znalost's Laboratory. Once inside the building a turbolift would take them down to sub-level three, which housed the operating room that was going to be used for the embedding procedure. Thomas stopped at the door and motioned for the Sith'ari to enter, The turbolift had enough room for twenty people. The 'soldiers' fanned in around the turbolift walls, allowing more than enough room for both Thomas and the Sith'ari.
M'Lord, please step inside. The Turbolift will take us down the rest of the way.

Banol's Maze. Laboratory Entrance.
Clever, thought the Sith to himself. Hide the lab underground, in a ruined and decaying city. Perfect for anything. And eerily similar to how Cain had his lab set up on Rhommamool, beneath the tarmacs of Novax Field. Though Cain's laboratory configuration was out of necessity, due to the things he had worked on. Though maybe the configuration was for similar reasons here. The Zabrak hoped that whatever Znalost was working on beneath the Maze, was not nearly as deadly as the Dracus could be. Brushing those thoughts to the back of his mind, the Sith Lord obliged and stepped into the lift as the soldiers fanned out around the outside. Impressive security. These soldiers looked to be a new model of heavy 'shock' trooper. If Znalost had yielded promising results, perhaps further testing would be required. Regardless, the Zabrak stood, arms hanging at his sides, as the lift doors closed and the lift began to descend into the bowels of the Maze...

The turbolift stopped at Sub-level three and its doors opened revealing Lord Znalost standing and waiting for them to arrive. Thomas exited first and stood off to the side to make room for the Sith'ari to exit. Lord Znalost bowed before the Sith'ari.
"Welcome to my Laboratory, my Lord."
Znalost paused long enough to give the Sith'ari time to exit the turbolift, before continuing to speak.
"If you would follow me, my lord. The Operating room is just down the corridor, Doctors Giles and Vellek are inside waiting for us."

Underground Laboratory, Sub-level Three.
Stepping out of the lift and acknowledging Znalost's bow with an inclination of his head. Falling into step beside Znalost, he voiced the one question that was nagging at him.
"What does the procedure entail, exactly?"
He wasn't worried about the procedure, Znalost's loyalty and respect of him was too great to involve jeopardizing his life. But at the mentioning of an 'operating' room, that was almost unnerving. Almost.

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory, Sub-level Three.
Lord Znalost continued to walk in front of the Sith'ari leading him to the operating room as he answered the question that his dark master asked.
"My team and I have removed the crystal setting of the Abraxas amulet and have attached a cybernetic component to it, which will allow us to monitor the effects of the force walking on your body. I used an Alchemic ritual to alter the purpose of the crystal, which will allow you to access the power of the Elders without having as much of a drawback as before. The procedure itself is fairly straightforward, we make a surgical incision into the chest and place the crystal with the cybernetic component face down then using Sith Alchemy we ensure that the crystal is fused to the skin of your chest. One more thing that you should be aware of and is that you must be awake the entire time or there is a chance that the Elders will take advantage of you being under."
As Lord Znalost finished explaining what he and his team did and the details of the procedure, they entered the operating room. Inside the operating room was both Doctor Giles and Doctor Vellek, both of who were prepped for the procedure. They were both wearing surgical scrubs and surgical masks and gloves. Thomas stopped and stood by the door, outside of the operating room.

Incisions, fused to skin and being awake the entire time. Just kriffin' wonderful, thought the Sith to himself. Overall, it probably wasn't as bad as some of the injuries he had sustained in the past. Several still bothered him to this day. And despite strengthening the muscles in his left thigh, under extreme exertion, it was still liable to give out or cause him to limp slightly. Some injuries just never healed. Glancing over at Znalost, then looking over to take in the doctors who were already dressed for the part, the Sith spoke.
"This had better work..."
Knowing full well he'd have to to remove at least some clothing, the Sith shrugged out of his cloak and undid the clasp on his belt. Peeling off the top portion of his tunic, he secured it at his waist and glanced over to Znalost again. Clenching his jaw, an anxious twitch he had developed over the years, he spoke once more.
"Shall we...?"

Lord Znalost's Secret Underground Laboratory, Sub-level Three, Operating Room.
Lord Znalost pressed a button to make the room was secured to decrease the chances of an infection. Once the room was sealed Znalost motioned for the Sith'ari to lay down on the metal table in the centre of the room. As soon as the Sith'ari had laid down on the metal operating table, Doctor Giles made a surgical incision that was roughly two millimeters long, Doctor Vellek was standing on the opposite side of Giles and made sure that there was enough room to insert the crystal into the chest. Doctor Giles turned around and picked up the now modified crystal that once was inside the amulet of Abraxas and placed it into the Sith'ari's chest. Once the crystal was placed into the chest both Doctors Giles and Vellek stepped back and made room for Lord Znalost so that he may perform the ritual to fuse the crystal to the body. Znalost raised both hands and began to chant, all the while allowing the darkside of the force to flow through him.
"Jena'tes sveni pro nun ir je'as tu'iea muis. Mes anyumi tu'iea tiesa vadinti, Boga. Degiklis sis wo ai mesinis kia sis hana iv jena'tes ir zinot savimi darytis wo"
And with those words spoken, the skin of the Sith'ari began to fuse to the crystal.

The table was cold and uncomfortable. But the doctors were swift and professional. Barely noticing the incision in his chest, he felt the crystal being placed in his skin. Still nothing. Perhaps this wasn't going to be that awful after all, or it wasn't going to work, thought the Zabrak, to himself. As soon as Znalost began speaking in the ancient Sith dialect, that's then it started. A sizzling sound greeted his ears. Glancing down at his chest, his skin seemed to be burning to the stone. With a flash of red, he felt a surge of energy rush through his body to his extremities. And then a tremendous pulling sensation was happening at his chest. As if someone had curled their spindly fingers around the crystal now partially embedded in his chest, and were trying to rip it out. Gritting his teeth and gripping the edge of the table on either side of him, the Zabrak stifled the urge to let out a scream. As he was lifted off the table by the crystal, he let out a pain induced scream. White hot tendrils of energy seemed to dance around the crystal, searing his tattooed skin. Eyes rolling back in his head, he could feel the Elders within his skull trying to claw their way out. Roaring in pain, lashing out through the Force, vials on the counters exploded. Papers, datapads, chairs...anything not anchored to the ground, was lifted into the air and began swirling around the table above him. And still, Znalost continued his chant. Repeating the phrase over and over, growing louder each time, the now airborne objects began to swirl faster and faster. And the Zabrak roared in agony, louder. And just as it was getting to the point where he could endure no more, everything stopped. The Zabrak's body flopped back down onto the table. All the objects within the air stopped and dropped to the floor abruptly. And the Sith'ari merely laid on the table, a quarter-sized circle of burned and seared flesh around the crystal now embedded in his chest, smoking slightly...
