Kamino's Orbit, aboard the Mandator II-Class Star Dreadnought: Destiny Ascension
As they arrived in Kamino's orbit, Lord Znalost headed back towards the turbolift and proceeded to take it down to the hangar. Lord Znalost waited a brief moment at the turbolift seeing if Darth Akrak was going to accompany him down. While he waited Znalost began to wonder how Project: Legacy was coming along, he knew that Giles and Ashaa had started working on a prototype device. Although they had little success in getting it to work, and when it did work the copy of the person's mind could not handle the fact of being only a copy. This causes the copy to commit suicide which to Znalost ment failure, although the data gathered from the failures would prove useful.

Although this technically was a warzone, Cecilia didn't realize that fact until her Imperial Escort Cruiser jumped into the system, suddenly caught between the planet itself and the massive Star Dreadnought that had just appeared over the planet with a support fleet. Rushing to the bridge, the captain was already trying to hail the large ship before a firefight broke out, while the hyperspace officer was attempting to recharge the ship's hyperdrive before anything happened. Bursting onto the bridge, Cecilia observed a scene of chaos as officers ran back and forth, simultaneously preparing for the worst while trying to prevent it. They had a few seconds before the large turbolasers on the other vessel would tear them apart. Preparing for the worst, Cici stared out the front of the viewport, towards the massive fleet staring them down. Hoping that somebody on the opposing ship might sense something before it was too late...

Kamino Orbit - Mandator II-Class Star Dreadnought: Destiny Ascension
As the massive ship approached the planet, an Imperial Escort Cruiser appeared between them and Kamino. Expecting such a thing, Fleet Admiral Kilran watched for a few moments, seeing what the ship was going to do. If this was supposed to be an ambush, it wasn't a very good one. A lone Escort Cruiser against their Dreadnought? Suicidal odds, at best. Unless whomever controlled Kamino was trying to martyr themselves to gain support, this certainly wasn't the way they'd beat the Blackguard. As they continued towards the small vessel, Kilran issued his orders.
"Focus forward batteries. Crush them."
Soon after, targeting solutions were being acquired and the forward cannons swiveled to face the minuscule vessel, preparing to fire...

Standing on the bridge, arms crossed, silently observing Fleet Admiral Kilran's cautious tactics, Akrak felt a ripple through the Force as a significantly smaller vessel appeared between them and the planet. Extending his perceptions outwards, he could feel the cold and calculating presence of a woman on board the smaller ship. Delving deeper and pushing against her mental barriers a little more forcefully, he felt a familiarly tainted presence. A fellow darksider! Stepping forward and uncrossing his arms, he spoke urgently to Kilran.
"Fleet Admiral. This ship is not aligned with our foes. A darkness emanates from within. Not ally, but not enemy either. I advise standing down and opening communications with them...I believe their intentions will become clear in time..."
A short silence followed, as the Fleet Admiral processed what was said to him. Akrak could feel the conflict within him. He wanted to follow his orders, however, he also wanted to investigate without jeopardizing the mission. A difficult decision, certainly. But, Akrak knew he'd make the right call. Reaching out through the Force, he attempted to establish a line of mental communication with the unfamiliar woman.
I am Darth Akrak of the Blackguard Reborn. And with whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with?
Hopefully it would be enough to get the woman talking while Kilran stood his men down...

==We Come in Pieces RP== <<107 PP, S15 Sector, Kamino Orbit>>
With the sudden jump in hostilities in the system, the Lucrehulk made sure to move more to the edge of the system. It was still within range to continue receiving shipments from the planet & sending return trips. But far enough out to jump away immediately if one of the hostile fleets turned its interest toward them. The round trip time was a lot longer than was preferable. But it was better than taking rounds of fire.
With the ships now beginning to maneuver to fire, the civilian crew on the ship (small though it was) was getting more & more hesitant about staying in system.

While the Destiny Ascension was occupied with a small Imperial Escort Cruiser, the Praetor Mk. II-Class Battlecruiser, Sovereign, exited hyperspace several thousand kilometers to the Ascension's aft. A pale, almost sickly looking woman stood at the helm of the vessel. It was Admiral Caydence Wraith. Having survived the events over Pzob and the subsequent debrief with the Sith'ari himself, the Admiral had been pushed back into front line duty. Re-assuming her role with a renewed zeal, the Admiral barked orders to her crew.
"Come about heading seven-zero-three carom four-eight-one. Move up on the Ascension's flank and prepare to support her. And get me Fleet Admiral Kilran. The Sith'ari grows inpatient with the delays here."
As the ship moved to its intended vector, Caydence knew it this was a do or die assignment for her. The muck-up over Pzob may have well ruined her career, but she wasn't going to let it stop her from carrying out her duties to the Blackguard.

Receiving nothing in return from the presence he had reached out to, the armored Sith clenched his jaw beneath his helm.
"Forget the Imperial Cruiser. Proceed directly to Kamino and begin landing your troops. Kamino falls today!"
Clenching a gauntleted fist, the Sith turned on his heel and proceeded towards the lift, where Znalost was waiting. Upon entering, the lift doors closed and the lift descended to the hangar of the massive ship. Soon they'd be on the ground, spilling the blood of the innocent.

Kamino's Orbit, Hangar Bay aboard the Mandator II-Class Star Dreadnought: Destiny AscensionLord Znalost was busy overseeing that his troops were all on the Imperial Assault Shuttles and that they were ready for combat. He was fully prepared for the coming battle as he was getting a kaminoan scientist and cloning tech from this conquest. The cloning tech would be put to use on many of his ongoing and future projects back on Ziost. Znalost also planned on using his head of security, Thomas Boles, as the genetic template for his personal clone army. Znalost had decided to do so since Thomas Boles was a good soldier and loyal to him, and once he had acquired the cloning tech and his fleet was built then he could refocus his attention on other projects. Once the last of his troops were load on the shuttles, Lord Znalost waited for the arrival of Darth Akrak so that they may proceed to the ground.

Kamino's Orbit. Mandator II-Class Star Dreadnought: Destiny Ascension.
On the bridge, Fleet Admiral Kilran was watching as the ship moved past the Imperial Escort Cruiser. And then Caydence's spindly image appeared on the bridge next to him. With a snort of disgust, he addressed her.
"Caydence. To what do I owe this...pleasure?
The image of the pale female Admiral replied.
The Sith'ari grows impatient, Kilran. Why haven't you made landfall yet? Or are you purposely dawdling to seal my fate?
With a smirk, Kilran replied.
"I wouldn't dream of it, my dear. I assure you, we are precisely on schedule. The Sith'ari knows how I operate very well, Caydence. Otherwise I wouldn't be commanding the strongest ship in the Blackguard Navy. Why don't you just sit back and enjoy the show?"
Motioning for the transmission to be cut, Admiral Wraith's image disappeared as Kilran sat down on the elevated command chair.
"Launch fighters. Prepare all weapons for contact and take us in."
The ship accelerated towards the planet as it launched its fighter complement. Soon, boots would be on the ground, led by Akrak and Znalost...

Akrak exited the lift in the hangar bay just as the fighters were taking off. So far, there was very little in the way of resistance against them, which was odd. Regardless, blood would be spilled once he reached the surface. Climbing into the Assault Shuttle that was waiting, the Sith eagerly awaited what was to come once he made it to the surface. None would survive his purge, and the cloning facilities of Kamino would be ripe for the Blackguard to exploit however they saw fit. As the hatch sealed, the shuttle lifted off the deck and exited into the vacuum of space, descending towards the planet...

Once Akrak appeared, the Ascension launched her fighters, and Lord Znalost stepped into one of the shuttles filled with his troops. He could help but let out a blood curdling laugh at the thought of getting what he wanted from this pitiful planet. If any living person were in the shuttle they would be frightened by the sound of Lord Znalost's laugh as it was not only a blood curdling laugh but his cybernetic mask made the laugh sound mechanical at the same time. It would take a short ride down to the city, then he could began the onslaught and add the fallen soldiers to his army.

Kamino High Orbit - Mandator II-Class Star Dreadnought: Destiny Ascension.
Settling into position in orbit above Tipoca City, the massive dreadnought continued to launch fighters and shuttles, delivering troops and resources to the surface. Kilran, still seated in his command chair, sipped his tea quietly as he continued to observe everything that was unfolding here. The Sovereign continued to hold position several hundred kilometers off of the Ascension's rear flank, acting as a rearguard just in case anyone became a little too curious as to what was happening here...

Kamino Low Orbit - Mandator II-Class Star Dreadnought: Destiny Ascension.
Standing on the bridge, Fleet Admrial Kilran was watching the reports come in from the surface. So far, so good. Everything was proceeding as planned. A whisper-like voice from behind him, caused chills to run down his spine and the hair on the back of his neck to stand up, however.
Fleet. Admiral. Kilran. I was expecting an update from you by now...
Spinning about abruptly, the Fleet Admiral bowed deeply as he was face with the holographic image of Sith'ari Savage himself.
"Mi'lord. I was about to send a report, I assure you...-"
Save your excuses, Admiral. I have come to give you a new objective.
"Of course, mi'lord."
Wipe them out. All of them. Bombard Tipoca City and the Cloning Facilities into ash if you must. This is taking far longer than expected and my patience wears thin. Report back to me once your task is completed.
Before the Fleet Admiral could reply, the hologram dissipated. Swallowing hard, Kilran flexed his jaw in annoyance. Turning to address the crew, his barked out his orders.
"Re-position the Ascension into bombardment range. And alert our forces on the ground to pull back to minimum safe distance. It's time to level the Kaminoans and claim this world in the name of the Blackguard!"
As the ship began to slowly move deeper into Kamino's atmosphere, the ship dipped its starboard side lower to acquire the proper coordinates to bombard Tipoca City and then move on to the Cloning Facilities...

With the Galactic Alliance finally falling apart, the battles between them and the First Order had finally come to a close with small little skirmishes from rebellious outliers being all that remained. As such, distress calls came far less frequently. For as much as she wished to do something good with her power and maintain that responsibility to keep some sliver of hope alive, Kia was glad for the break. It had become a daunting task, going from battlefield to battlefield, aiding civilians in whatever way she could. She had a partner at one time but she departed some time ago to just live a normal, simple life. Alone and with no resources, the work was beginning to take its toll. She had been able to get a few months of rest before the most recent distress signal came across her scanners.
And so she was here. Kia's YV-929 Armed Transport emerged from hyperspace and made its way towards Kamino. She didn't know just who was attacking the planet, but by what little she could gather, it wasn't the First Order. However, dread overtook her as she got closer to the planet. Sitting in low orbit was a massive ship, something that should have been really small or gone unnoticed at her distance. "What the hell is that?"
As she pushed closer, she began flipping a few switches as she engaged her cloaking device, rendering her invisible from scanners. No doubt she had already been picked up and fighters were already being directed towards her position. It was because of this that she had the cloak installed. She never knew when she'd arrive while the battle was still happening or if all had dispersed. And in times like this, she was grateful for having it.
As her ship began to vanish from sight, she let her ship drop down so as to go under the ship in orbit. All she had to do was get passed it and then she could make it towards the planet below.

With the Destiny Ascension re-positioning itself to be in bombardment range of Tipoca City, the Praetor Mk. II-Class Battlecruiser, Sovereign, was left to keep an eye out for any intruders that got too curious. Seated on the bridge, overlooking the crew pits, the Admiral Wraith's attention was pulled to the tactical salon as an officer spoke up."Ma'am! Something just jumped in system."Flexing her jaw, the Admiral spoke."Give me the details."After a few moments of silence, Wraith was about to address the officer one more time, but he finally spoke."Not sure ma'am. One moment it was there, the next it vanished."Smirking slightly, Wraith issued orders."Active cloaking... Get the alert fighters over there and ready the ship, just in case."As her orders were carried out, the patrolling CAP fighters, a squadron of Mark VI Supremacy-Class Starfighters, was dispatched to investigate the anomaly.

With the hibridium cloaking device activated, all Kia's sensors had gone dark. All that was left to guide her was pure sight line, and when it came to space, that could be a dangerous thing. But it was all she was able to manage as the better cloaking devices were far too pricey for what she was capable of affording. Still, it had to make do as she pressed on towards the planet, continuing to drop lower and lower in an attempt to completely avoid the fleet altogether. It might have ended up taking her well out of the desired flight path, but it was the wisest choice.
However, as she went, she could have sworn she saw the glimmer of movement from the light being cast from the planet. Without any sensors to tell her what was happening, all she could do was guess. It wasn't long before she noticed the glimmering growing brighter and getting larger before eventually, the shape of starfighters became apparent. By this point, they were nearly at her position with little time left to cover the gap. At her rate of decent, it was highly likely they'd collide with. Having no choice, she pushed the craft down nearly into a full dive, hoping her actions didn't draw the attention of those approaching her. She had to get to the surface, no matter what.

Twelve Mark VI Supremacy-Class FIghters, flying in formation, soared past the coordinates they were assigned to investigate. Sensors revealed nothing and a visual scan of the area showed nothing but stars. Had the fighters soared around and perhaps looked down on the approach vector the Ascension was taking, they might have visually picked out the YV-929 Armed Transport. However, not thinking that someone was crazy enough to attempt a surface approach with both a Praetor MK. II-Class Battlecrusier and a Mandator II-Class Star Dreadnought present, the fighters did one more sweep of the location and withdrew back to the Sovereign, resuming their Combat Air Patrol (CAP).

Kia gave a sigh as she saw the star fighters pass over her then head back towards the remaining ship in orbit. It had easily been a close call, one that would have brought her life to an end. But fortune continued to smile on her for now as she pushed forward to the planet’s surface, making sure to take it slow as she made her way passed the Sovereign.

Kamino's Orbit - Imperium Sith Hollow-Class Eclipse Dreadnought: Dark AscensionThe massive ship, Dark Ascension, exited hyperspace over Kamino, well out of the orbiting defenses range. Several years ago, Fleet Admiral Kilran had been here, as the world's conqueror. Now he was here as executioner. Order 212 had been given, and those privy to the information, had been informed the Operation: FRACTURE was underway. Unfortunately, there were three Overseers that hadn't been included in the upcoming changes of the Imperium. Naturally, they rebelled and did not comply with Order 212. This prompted large scale battles across several sections of Imperium space. Pzob, the experimentation grounds for creating Gamorrean Shock Troopers, was formerly under the command of Aden Vykus. General Xethuys was seeing to him. Roon, formerly under the command of Asondra Valken, was one of the Imperium's fortress worlds, designed to withstand nearly any siege short of blowing the planet up. Lizbeth Klassen and her team of Sith Knights had been dispatched to infiltrate Roon and cut the head off the supposed "Warlord" faction that had been brewing, while the Sith'ari's personal fleet dealt with orbital defenses and provided ground support to keep the former Overseer's attention away from the Knights. And then there was Kamino, home to Varick Thedas. Cloning operations within the Imperium were highly successful and boosted ground forces with highly skilled troopers capable of waging war on a galactic scale. The Sith'ari himself was here to deal with this one. Which would be interesting to see. Having recently transferred his essence from his old decaying body, the Zabrak Sith Lord now took up residence in a cloned body of his original. And none would be the wiser, save for the limited few that had seen his decaying form before the process.*
*Appearing from hyperspace off of the Ascension's rear, were Sovereign and Harbinger, both Oppressor-Class Star Cruisers. The combined might of these three ships, they were capable of leveling a star system, if the need arose. Fortunately, they were only here to deal with the rogue Overseer. Standing on the bridge by the holo-table, Fleet Admiral Kilran was joined by Admiral Caydence Wraith and Vice Admiral Desolas Vincent."Thank you for joining on such short notice. As you can see, Kamino's orbit is littered with imperial defense satellites and the FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Platform. Not only that, but the three surface to orbit cannons on Kamino's surface also pose a risk. The turbolaser in Tipoca City can be dealt with easily enough, though the ion cannons at the cloning facility make any direct approach less than ideal. I do, however, have a plan. Caydence, you will deal with the orbital defenses. Normally Order 212 would prevent us from damaging any of the infrastructure, however the Sith'ari cares little for what remains of Kamino once we are finished. So, Caydence, take them out how you see fit. Desolas, I want you to support the Ascension. We'll be moving into low orbit after we launch our ground troops. The Sith'ari is heading straight for Thedas' stronghold, while we are tasked with eliminating any resistance and shutting down the cloning facilities. Rather than waiting for our ground teams to disable the cannons, we've been authorized to slag them from orbit with precision strikes. You'll take the turbolaser in Tipoca, while we'll handle the ion cannons. Understood?"Both images nodded in agreement.Understood, Fleet Admiral. I'll contact you once orbit is secure.Understood, sir. We're with you."Outstanding. Let's get to work."With that, the images of the other two admirals dissipated, while the Ascension and the Harbinger accelerated towards the planet. As they moved, they fired upon the defense satellites, clearing a path. The Sovereign, on the other hand, accelerated towards the FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Platform, clearing out the defense satellites as it moved.*
*Down in the hangar bay, the Sith'ari was gathered with the Sith Knights that had been on Iridonia."Knight-Commander Klassen, the cloning facilities are your priority. Shut them down by any means necessary. Utilize the troops and vehicles as needed. I am heading for the Magister. Once everything is clear, we gather our resources and those loyal to us and we vacate the planet."Without waiting for the Knight-Commander to answer, he boarded his shuttle and the hatch sealed behind him. As fighters were launched to combat the defense satellites, several escorts were assigned to the shuttles that were landing troops. It had been some time since the Zabrak had seen physical combat. But he was looking forward to it.
