Dah'lis slumped on the wall next to Vasari and returned her smile. Now that the moment had passed, she wasn't sure if she would have been able to deflect any more bolts. Breathing heavy she stood back up and offered a hand to the Zabrak while Lilith Squad closed in. Two of them had already retrieved emergency blankets from their survival packs and swiftly wrapped them around the two lightly clad women. It would be a safe, if not slow, trip back to the main complex. Seeing how their leader looked at the Sith, Lilith Squad opted to not ask questions and would cover the two as they made their journey back.

Vasari was too exhausted to mind her looks at the troopers that closed in around them on the narrow ledge wrapping warming blankets around their bodies, and while Dah'lis helped her to her feet. She noted the one that had thrown her the dagger and taking a moment to clean the blade on her skirt she handed the clean weapon back to the trooper with a brief nod, but gave the troopers no other regard as she walked side by side with Dah'lis back to the lift. During the trip up Vasari moved closer to the woman slipping into the woman's blanket pressing her body close to hers so she could whisper against the girl's ear.
"The way the move around you is unnerving..."
Vasari whispered running her hand down Dah'lis' stomach to wrap around her waist holding the girl close as she could feel her hearts beginning to beat faster again furthering the warming of her body. The sound of the turbolifts covered her voice but she was sure the soldiers were listening as best they could. She didn't like the military, did her best to avoid them at all costs but now she found herself surrounded by them, and they all seemed to treat Dah'lis like a goddess - not that she could blame them. She looked down with a little more of a timid smile at the half-breed's face as she held the woman close.

Dah'lis gave a smile back to Vasari and wrapped her own arm around the woman's shoulders. She could feel the woman's breasts against her side and subsequently felt her own heart beat start to rise. It had been quite the adventure, though she had been on several, most with Lilith Squad, which seemed to be why they acted how they did. A quiet reverence for the Half-breed. Well, I had rescued each of them from slavery. They each wished to stay with me to repay me for their freedom. So I trained them, supplied them, and have quietly been getting them all officially registered in the Corp without the need for academy time. I hope, someday, to bring about bigger changes. To stop slavery all together within the First Order, but I'm just one woman. Can't even kill a helpless Munn without almost getting killed... She whispered this so only Vasari could hear. The women of Lilith Squad were brave and believed in Dah'lis almost to a fault. Weather or not it would be had yet to be seen.

Vasari kept close to her the entire time, using their closeness partially for warmth and to keep away from the soldiers, but mostly out of the need to be close to someone right now. Unlike most Sith Vasari did not relish death and pain, she had always had a very high tolerance for pain - it had served her well at the Academy as most of her instructors were sadistic chauvanist bastards that had tried to break her body, mind, and spirit - but she did not take power from it. She had never learned how and felt that it was a hinderance that most Sith used as a crutch. She drew her power directly from the living force, and generally felt weaker when less living beings were around. So as a result she felt at peace, and the most powerful when she was around strong sources of vitality - the young knight next to her now a perfect example.
"You shouldn't treat yourself so harshly... I think if you looked into this you might find some deeper plot at the heart of things. These were not First Order soldiers coming after us... and they were not doing so out of any loyalty to the dead Muun. There was a reason they wanted us dead to chase us so far into the earth."
She held the half twi'lek close as the lift reached the top of the mine shaft and only stepping away once they reached the hub and the small group made their way back to the main control center. The signs of Lilith squad's brief firefight to take control of the Facility could still be scene on the walls and floors of the corridors. The power was still on and it was considerably warmer which Vasari visibly enjoyed as she let the blanket covering her body down a little bit to enjoy the stale but warm air currents.
Vasari watched the soldiers move this way and that about their business of securing the area or what not. She rubbed her shoulders a little bit, some for warmth but mostly she felt uncomfortable around the soldiers. their matching outfits... faceless appearence... blasters... She hated blasters. Such an uncivilized weapon. She turned her attention back to Dah'lis at least trying to block it all out.
"Good luck convincing your 'Emporer' to give up a galaxy wide network of free labor."Vasari muttered with a somewhat disgusted smirk. She didn't see Slavery in the same light as most. Everyone was a slave to something, everyone held someone as lord or master and it was each persons right to fight against that or succumb to it as they would. There was always a price for resistance, always a cost for freedom... slave or not. She also put heavy imphasis on the 'your'... making it clear she would never bow to a pasty middle aged human no matter how large an army he commanded. Regardless her voice softened a little as she looked back to the Knight."More than that tho... I do hope that you take good care of yourself."
It seemed like she wanted to say more, and even though she didn't she didn't make any move to leave, though she was looking out towards her ship - the stolen sith fighter she had taken from Viox Savage prior to her mission. Hopefully she would be able to return it in one piece and soon enough that he wouldn't notice her absense. She was in deep enough trouble with the Sith'ari as it was.

Dah'lis stepped forward and grabbed Vasari's hand, and turned her back around and brought her in to an embrace. I know we come from two different places, and two different factions, but I will never be able to thank you, or repay you for today. She whispered this into the woman's neck as she fought back tears at the thought of their parting so soon. She loosened the embrace and unclipped her lightsaber from her belt and passed it to Vasari. Take this, you lost yours to protect me, and I don't know where you are off to next, but till you can construct your next weapon, I hope it serves you well... And reminds you of me. She looked into the woman's eyes and paused, realizing something she called out to her troopers. Liliths. Take a walk. I'll radio when we're ready to go. It seemed like one of them was going to reply, but another quickly shut them up with an elbow jab and they moved out. Once they were out of sight, Dah'lis brought Vasari in for deep and passionate kiss, even dipping the Sith in her arms.

Vasari looked down as the Knight took hold of her hand and pulled her into a tight hug. Vasari exhaled a little against the knights body seemingly for the first time taking a more appreciative feel of her corded muscular frame beneath the smooth blue skin. She felt the hot words against her neck and her skin heated up a little - the feeling was nice compared to the cold hell they had literally just crawled out of. She was just about to make some protest about the need for thanks - had she simply taken out her target and evac'd with her team she wouldn't have had much difficulty - the trouble only came when the knight followed her down into the mine.
Before Vasari could protest however the Knight was handing her the saber they had practically shared. A silver blade with an elegant handle that was made for to work beneath the surface of the water. An impractical design - Vasari had always thought... until today. She was was speechless as her eyes studied the weapon taking in what Dah'lis was saying - wanting to protest as she had plans to construct her weapon already - the only thing she needed was the focusing crystals which they had just attained. But then Dah'lis mentioned that it would remind her of the blue skinned beauty and Vasari's skin flushed, her eyes brightening to a bright yellow - the only noticeable reaction to her blushing furiously.
"I ... I dont..."
She muttered beneath her breath not really paying attention to Dah'lis dismissing her soldiers and before she could make coherent words come out of her lips she found them otherwise occupied when Dah'lis pulled her aside and into a kiss. She reacted sluggishly, like the schoolgirl she really was, but her hands moved up the woman's chest, slipping beneath her head-tails to wrap around her neck just as the smaller girl dipped her. She turned on her heal gracefully - the movement not unlike one of the evasions Form Three had taught her. Her mind finally evened out a little bit, losing itself in the kiss - the vitality of the moment and the obvious passion the woman had for her was overwhelming but she felt at home within it.

Dah'lis lifted the woman back up, but not breaking away from the kiss. Oh this kiss felt right, it felt right. It felt like all this hell had maybe been worth it for this. The knights arms held Vasari close, pushing their chests and bodies together, wanting to be as close as possible to the Sith. Soon her arms loosened and allowed her hands to travel down to the woman's waist. Once their she broke away from the kiss. A small frown on her face, but it was amplified by the sadness in her eyes. I'm sorry, I'm making it harder to say good-bye... Dah'lis wanted to return to their time in the lift, on their way down. When their passions almost boiled over into something far more. But now she didn't know if pursuing that would be such a good idea. The woman had slept with plenty of people casually, but this wasn't the same. It couldn't be.

Vasari seemed drunk with pleasure when Dah'lis finally pulled away, her eyes took a moment to focus and she was visibly distracted by what had just happened. She had expected some sort of goodbye kiss, but nothing like that. She blinked a little as she was righted and her hands came to the other woman's hips in attempt to steady herself"Good-bye?..."She whispered as if it was a question that she didn't intend to have answered. It took her a moment longer to right herself fully and for the haze to clear from her mind and she blinked a few more times to focus before she finally seemed to realize where she was and what was going on. After another moment she gave the girl a playful smile and took a step back, as if finally answering her own question.
"Thank you... for everything you helped me do..."She paused then, realizing there wasn't words for what she wanted to convey and pulled the woman into another long kiss - running her fingertips down the full length of one of her headtails as she did so, then whispered against her ear."Thank you for everything Dah'lis Vao..."
She reluctantly pulled back from the woman - knowing it to be cruel after what she just did to her and so gave her the most playful smirk she could before remembering something and pulled her pack from her shoulder and reached into it and produced one of the brilliant white almost crystalline eggs and handed it to the woman opposite her. Technically the dragon had tasked the both of them with protecting the eggs.

Shuddering with pleasure as the Sith caressed her headtail, Dah'lis once more smiled at the woman. But her smile soon turned into her jaw falling slightly open as she was offered one of the eggs. And you trust me with this? An Imperial Knight? Sworn and beholden to the Emperor whom you have had no kind words for?Her hands reached out, but rather than taking it, they rested on Vasari's. This egg meant so much. And she didn't even know how to raise a Dragon. Or if she would be able to. Seems a shame to part them like this, the siblings. Though I suppose this means we will have to meet again?

Vasari didn't show any hesitation as she smiled and pressed the egg against the other woman's chest. She had of course considered the fact that such a rare prize might be given over to the Emperor, effectively signing over the beast to a life of slavery... but Vasari didn't believe that Dah'lis would allow that the happen, and being faced with that possibility it just might open her eyes as to what sort of man she really followed. But she said nothing of the sort, only gave the egg another gentle push and moved Dah'lis' hand to cover the egg.
"You know about as much of it as i do... but perhaps its a reason for both of us to learn something. And I am not the one to intrust this to you... the Mother did. Surely you feel that?"
Ever since the dragon's death she had felt the pull towards the creatures she was carrying, the desire to live was great and served as a motivator to escape the mine, but she felt the dragon's presence through the force, even as it grew within the egg. She didn't know a thing about it, but she would learn soon enough - as soon as she got back to Iridonia - or at the very least another library.
"I dont need another reason to see you again darlin... believe me you've made quite an impression."
She smiled softly and moved the woman's other hand under the egg finally releasing it before leaning forward to kiss her on the cheek.

Dah'lis could feel the warmth coming off the egg as her hands touched in. She could also feel the weight of the Dragon's final sacrifice and her desire for the pair to raise the children. A sacrifice and desire the Knight had no intent on betraying. Looking back up to see Vasari as the Sith leaned in and gave her one more kiss on the cheek. Dah'lis knew anything else would just make the eventual 'good-bye' harder. Taking the egg into her arms, she held it tight against her chest. She then would place the egg in one of the packs Lilith Squad had left behind, making sure it was safe and secure. The half-breed would come back with a data chip. Here, this has a code that will allow you to contact me directly. Don't be a stranger, and if you find yourself in First Order territory, look me up.

Vasari reached out her hand for the chip and took it, looking at it with soft eyes for a few long moments before tucking the small dat-card into her breast wrap, close to at least one of her hearts, with a slight wink. She wasn't sure when her travels would ever lead her to First Order space - she generally tried to avoid starting wars, but it was a kind gesture the woman had given her."I umm... you wont really have a way to get in contact with me... and i dont know where i'll be... but i'll find you again. I promise. She smiled again and stepped back a little, the further she got from her the harder it became but she knew she it wasn't going to get easier. Finally she summoned the strength to turn her shoulder and walk around the corner leading towards the landing pad... once out of sight she exhaled and her shoulders sunk ... she would miss Dah'lis, but there was too much she still had to do, and Kessel awaited her. She raised her head and pulled her cloak back around her, raising the deep hood over her horns to cover her face as she walked calmly past the group of soldiers at the landing pad - paying them no more mind than if they were not there at all and ascended the ladder into the cockpit of the Sith Infiltrator. The cockpit was closed and the ship lifted into the air without preflight... and was gone within moments - rising up into the atmosphere and away from Arkania.

Dah'lis knew this was how things had to be. Right now anyway. The galaxy was a cruel place sometimes, bringing people together only to force them apart. As she watched the woman go, she could feel herself start to shiver, not from the cold, but her emotions had boiled over. After watching Vasari's craft lift off, Dah'lis was able to calm herself down and make her way to her own ship and summoned Lilith Squad. Let's go. And so they did.

Having finally reached her goal, Blaze pushed only a little furtger into the frozen tundra, getting a bit more distance from the city. A few more minutes of running before she finally came to a sudden stop. Where she stood there was nothing but open ground for a clear fight. It was here she would wait for the hunter.
She stood there, her back remaining towards the city as she focused her mind and the swelling darkness in preparation for battle as her presence became a beacon for Vesperia to follow.

Upon reaching the outskirts of Novania, there wasn’t a soul to be found. In the distance, Vesperia could hear the panicked shouts of the denizens as sirens rang ominously in the air. Fear filled the streets as the city became on high alert for the huntress who killed for the innocent for pleasure and a point while her true mark fled the scene. Vesperia continued chase, no matter how far Blaze got. Only if she sensed Blaze’s presence fade from the planet in a coward’s move would she cease the hunt.
That wasn’t the case, though, and something that set a wicked grin alight on the Sith woman’s lips. As the city melted into the background to leave nothing but a tundra of gray and white before her, Vesperia could sense the darkness of the Blaze’s presence like a smoke signal, rising high from her place among the snow-laden landscape. It was only in due time that the black beacon within the Force revealed its source as a rose-hued mane burst into view among the dreary terrain.
Vesperia quickly closed the gap as quickly as the Force and her feet could take her, all the while grasping tight to the brownish-black tuft her latest victim. As soon as she was close enough, Vesperia let out a huff as she sent it flying towards Blaze. The sound of snow crunched before Blaze’s feet before Vesperia was close enough for an attack, and now laying before her was the fear-shocked expression set in stone by the dead’s glazed eyes stared up at her. The synchronized hiss of Vesperia’s lightwhip and its nine-tails shuddered through the air next, as the Sith wasted no more time with these little games.
“It’s about time you came out to play, little Nania…!”
Vesperia wasn’t a fool. Blaze had led her here to stop the killing of the innocent. A place for a noble fight where no more would be in harm's way for their showdown. If Vesperia didn’t sense otherwise, it appeared as though Blaze had turned her path to that of a Jedi’s. Not as if it mattered. Blaze would get her wish, just as Vesperia would get hers. Vengeance. Or justice. That line was a thin one and oh so easy to cross. Just another trivial thing that would matter very little the moment that Vesperia could claim that blade and shield as her trophies.

Blaze felt the growing distress within the city. In the end, it had become a failed attempt to get out of the city with Vesperia in tow, leaving the others unaware of their fight, allowing them to face each other down without concern for interference. Deep down, though, she knew it would be the unavoidable outcome. She had sought to ignore that feeling hopefully allow everyone to live on without issue. But her old friend was a Sith. She was aware of the woman's feeling on those that weren't. Pathetic and worthless. And now, as she waited, she worked to come to terms with what she had truly expected all along and her own inability to help them.
Had she crossed the line and began shifting over to the light? It made her wonder for a moment. Where did her feelings of guilt come from? In the end, perhaps her own experiences as of late had shifted her feelings on those beneath her. Never had she viewed others to the degree Vesperia did, so it could be said that she carried no true feelings towards them. If they lived, fine, if not, it was equally fine. Maybe that feeling still existed and all it came down to was a pointless end to life that should never have been inflicted upon them.
Pushing the thoughts from her head, she worked on channeling and focusing the darkness within her, using the distress from the city to further fuel her power. It wasn' much longer before she felt Vesperia approach, heard her footsteps over the snow. Then came the toss, enough effort being throw to ensure it got in front of her since her back was turned. She saw the head, but her time focusing had worked to close her off, leaving no fluctuation in her presence. It was clear that the rose-haired woman was ready for a fight.
The snap-hiss of her whip's activation was the only sound she needed as she turned to her left, bringing up her shield and deflected the nine strands away as her sword came around behind her, its length giving her extra reach than a normal saber. Her eyes had shifted as they glared at the woman at that moment, the darkness apparent in that yellow glow. "My name...is...BLAZE!" In a sudden and easy swing, Blaze brought her sword over her head, then down in a hard downward slash at Vesperia.

A thoughtful hum resounded from Vesperia as the proof of her beheaded victim didn’t stir Blaze’s presence nearly as much as she had hoped. To think she wasted all that energy, both in retrieving it as well as giving it a meaningful toss to reach the front of Blaze. Oh, well. Perhaps it was just proof enough that Blaze wasn’t as turned to the light as she had originally thought, not even paying a major second to mourn their death as she had hoped. It would have been plenty enough time for the snap of her whip to make contact with anything else other than that blessed shield Blaze depended on heavily. The first matter to deal with in taking Blaze down was getting rid of it once and for all…
Vesperia cracked back her whip as she prepared for another strike, hoping that one of these would finally lure her prey out of her shell to fight. Finally, though. Blaze broke down the sheer defensive she kept up, and in a fit of rage, Blaze finally seemed to fall to all of Vesperia’s mocking words. Nania. That name of the past, and one that she had seemingly left behind her, just like the cult in which they both were raised. It was with an artful mix of glee and distaste that Vesperia smirked, even as her blade came down with a sudden gusto to chop down through her shoulder and cut the woman in half.
Vesperia side-stepped, leaving Blaze’s blade to strike the snow below, steam hissing from the ground from the heat of the plasma blade. With a confident grin and wild look in her eyes, the dark-haired woman released another crack of her whip, except this time, the tendrils guided with a gentle precision of the Force to lace up the blade, hilt, and hopefully even Blaze’s arm. The downside of whips, defensively she was left to rely on nothing but her feet. The bonus, though? Little tricks like this, which with a forceful pull back, she hoped to tear the blade from her hand and the skin from her arm all in one fell swoop.
“Ohhhh,” Vesperia laughed wickedly, “Well, then, let me see if I can have you live up to your new namesake and set Blaze… ablaze…!”
Her high-pitched, haunting laugh rang over the hiss of the blades as she outstretched her free hand towards the only source of fire that would suffice out here. It was as if Blaze was trying to snuff out any source of kindling. All that was around was ice… snow… None of it would do. Still, not all was lost.
A violet crackle set the head alight, and with a twist of her wrist, Vesperia bid it come at Blaze from behind. It seemed that some were more useful dead than they were alive. With her flames alive, the stench of burning flesh would quickly fill the air, but all that was necessary was for her flames to make contact...

The sheer force and power she poured into her weapon was all that was needed to melt the ice and snow as her blade met the ground. But she was not so slow to leave herself in such an open position as Vesperia sidestepped her. She worked to pull the blade back, its length and the retreating action being all that saved her from getting her arm caught up in strands of her whip. Blaze remembered the years facing off with Vesperia, remembering the work it took to fully adapt to fighting such a style. That gave her an advantage, but only just. The difference between then and now was back then, it was but a single strand. Now she had to read and understand the flow of nine of them. A task, she believed, would take to long and put her back into a disadvantage, possibly killing her before it was accomplished. She had to find a way to end this fight before that time came.
As Vesperia sought to pull away the blade from her hands, Blaze tightened her grip and held the whip taught as they fought for control. It was easy enough to make her move, to get free of such a hold had it not been for Vesperia being a step ahead. She smelt the sudden burning flesh and crackling of fire. Her senses felt the head flying at her, causing her to turn, bringing up her shield once more. But Blaze wasn't. She would use the attack against Vesperia. The impact with the shield was enough to stop it, but something else occured. The flames that wrapped the head were ripped away and lit the top of her shield in flames. As it did, Blaze turned back to Vesperia, pulling at her sword hard to disrupt Vesperia's balance if but for a moment as she stepped forward and sought to plunge the tip of the shield into her old friend's gut, seeking to hurt her, knock the breath from her, and cause her to catch fire as she demostrated her own ability with Pyrokinesis.

It was an impressive display, to say the least, to be able to pull back enough to not allow any of those myriads of tendrils to snake up Blaze’s arm. Still, she had managed to catch the blade. Blaze seemed up for a fight, though, with refusing to relinquish her weapon so easily. Perhaps a wise decision, but in the same breath, perhaps not. At the very least, this unique weapon seemed to withstand the output of her whip, remaining intact despite the plasma tails that attempted to melt it away.
"More games, Nania?" Vesperia growled at the tug of her whip, wrapped around Blaze's saber. "We aren't kids anymore!"
Her tones snarled with fiery frustration at the predicament Blaze placed them both in. Vesperia wasn’t about to play another game with Blaze, either, especially not tug-of-war after already a daring game of hide-and-seek. Although the flaming skull created a bit of a scenario where the ever-resourceful Nania tried to use it for her own benefit, Vesperia smirked as Blaze had chosen to use the very thing she sought to get rid of as her source of defense.
As Blaze pulled back on her blade, Vesperia smirked and seemingly fell into line to what Blaze had sought to do. Except as she ‘stumbled’ forward, she instead kicked her weight back, sliding down into the snow on a heel. Blaze’s shield burst forward above her, and with a triumphant laugh, Vesperia set a powerful thrust of her hand up towards Blaze's wrist, hoping to crunch the bone between the strike of her palm and the metal of her own shield. What more, the action sent a command to the flames still under her control, sending a violet explosion atop the shield’s metal. For Vesperia, the durable metal created a nice little impervious umbrella to such an extreme heat spreading out in all directions from above. Blaze, she hoped, would not be so lucky.
Her whip's tails still remained tangled in Blaze’s sword, which poised a problem she hoped to solve here soon enough. With Blaze now working to deal with Vesperia being under her shield, she hoped it would divert her focus enough for Vesperia to work for a beat. Carefully loosening the strands with the Force was a precise art, especially while in the heat of battle, but with enough practice, it was far from impossible. The moment that she could work them free, though, it was a matter of a quick snap backward, and another wide arc to lace up and around Blaze’s thigh. All the while, Vesperia kept her hand firm on Blaze’s wrist, her arm acting as a pillar to prevent her prey from decapitating her with that shield.

The fight carried on with a smooth flow as they continued to match the coming attack. In her attempt to bring Vesperia to a halt, the woman's own anticipation allowed her to evade the strike of the shield as she skidded down beneath its reach. In an attempt to further hinder her, Vesperia's hand came up to impact the arm that held the shield. Despite the strength, she was able to apply, she wouldn't get the satisfaction on crunching the bones since her arm was well braced within the shield and the shield itself was freely floating within the air, allowing it to get shoved backward. It was only through gripping her arm that Vesperia kept Blaze from pushing forward with any attack with her defensive weapon.
It wasn't but a second later that the fight for power of the flames shifted once more, the layer of flames exploding into a raging inferno under Vesperia's influence. This caused Blaze's attention to shift for a slight moment to keep them contained on top of her shield. Soon, she'd have to dispell them less her shield become too hot to hold but held off for another moment more in hopes to use it to her advantage somehow.
This allowed her opponent the time to work at the tendrils, but at best, it was but a few seconds. The flames contained, she looked down to see the position Vesperia rested in and saw it carried its own opening. As the tendrils began to come loose, Blaze twisted the blade in her hand and sliced through the air, hoping to strike and slice her through at her chest.
