Being alone in a big city was nothing new to A'den. He had spent several years living on the streets of Keldabe after his birth parents died. Interacting with other people, especially children with his age, that was a different story. He had been a loner for a very long time. Now suddenly, he was thrust into a family, and a large one at that. Not only that, but it was the family of the Aliit'alor of the clan as well...

A'den clapped and cheered with the rest. He had no clue why, other than that seemed to be the thing to do. He did not and would not be able to fathom the implications and repercussion of what had just happened.

A'den wasn't used to all the pomp and circumstance of formal events. Mainly because he hadn't been apart of any. Being new to the clan, he didn't fully grasp the depth of the death they were honoring. He new it was someone very important to the clan. He new he expected to be a certain way, so he was that way. Inside though, he couldn't wait to finish and do something more fun. He tried to hide his restlessness, but he was sure it was noticeable.

A'den walked with NCO, following his lead. He was amazing at the presence NCO commanded. NCO wasn't above helping his men, not just giving orders. When NCO asked his opinions he gave them. He may not have always had the best solution, but he always had a solution

Ride herd? A'den was unsure what that meant. But he figured he would learn soon. He moved out of the room as NCO waved him out. He was nervous as to what was to come next.

A'den had never been off of Mandalore, as far as he knew. Everything was a lot to take in.

A'den listened to the salesman's pitch. He did not know what NCO could or would spend, as, for as far as A'den was concerned, NCO was in charge of teh financing. A'den had figured out he could switch to a private comm, where only NCO could hear him...What do you think, buir? NCO responded on the same channel, while the salesman waited patiently. Buurenar suspected they were having a private conversation, as vode often did, and had the grace to wait for it's conclusion in silent stillness. NCO didn't want A'den to feel crushed by the prospect of buying a new ship, but he also didn't want the boy to get used to having a crutch of a buir either. So he decided to play his hand carefully and hope the boy's resourcefulness kicked in. No one made a living on the streets of any world without picking up some resourcefulness, right? This is your choice to make ad. If funds are your concern, you need not worry, you can afford to buy the entire lot and every ship on it today. For everything else, you will need experience to make the best choice. There are no bad decisions here, no wrong choices. Make your choice and remember that it is yours.*A'den looked at the sales man.* We'll take it.

A'den was overwhelmed initially as the data flooded his HUD. He quickly realized his eye movements controlled what information he viewed. After carefully considering the highlighted ships, A'den settles on the Deep-X Explorer. He points to it.
That one. It is fast and nimble. Good for getting in and out quickly.

A'den and NCO arrived at the starport. A'den was nervously excited. He had never left Mandalore before. He did his best to hide his nervousness as he followed NCO to his ship.

A'den finished his meal. He watched and listened as NCO took care of the bill and tip. He stood and followed NCO out of the 'baat.

"You'll have to wait and see, it's something everyone does. Well, all the d'ordinii do it. It's mostly an exercise in tedious boredom, but you'll get something rather handy from it. It's worth the minor hassle, plus it may prove educational. The trip certainly will be useful in continuing your education. What experience do you have with interplanetary transit vessels?" I've never left Mandalore as far as I know. I have seen plenty of ships come and go, but was never on one.

A'den began to eat and drink as soon as the meal arrived. He didn't realize how hungry he was.

A'den sat in the vacant seat.
I'm just glad to have found you. How did I do, for my first hunt?

A'den remove his buy'ce and nodded at each as they were introduced. The youthful 10 year old smiled at the two as he nodded.
Jate'urcye gar. Ner gai A'den'ade. Ni cuyi guuror A'den.
(Good to meet you. I am A'den'ade. I am fond of A'den.)
A'den looked over at NCO.
Ni liniba slanar at kaysh.
(I need to go to him.)
A'den again nodded at each of them and then headed over to NCO.
Tion ru bana, buir?
(What happened father?)

Were it not for the fact that he is trying to impress a lovely flame haired lass, Lorcan might have left the young Mandalorian to his own devices, but as he figures playing the part of a total white hat might help his efforts to get to know the red head a bit better, he excuses himself and strides over to where A'den has all but collapsed, nodding a silent greeting towards a female Mandalorian he spots seated in corner and appearing to be watching things silently.
Offering the fallen lad a hand, Lorcan, a thirty seven year old human male standing at 5'11 and armored in blue beskar'gam, smiles his most charming smile as he checks to see that the red head is watching and catches her eye as he tells A'den in Mando'a, "Let me give you a hand there little buddy, and then helps him to his feet. Making sure the lad is steady, Lorcan bends down to retrieve the rifle that was dropped, and then helps A'den to the bench where he and his red head have been sitting and chatting. Gar shuk meh kyrayc *, Lorcan jokes as he pats the lad on the shoulder once he has helped him sit, and then, motioning for the redhead to get the lad some water to drink, asks A'den, Me'bana, ad'ika? **"
* You're no use dead
** What happened, lad? A'den gladly accepts the hand up.Vor entye. Ni nu partayli. Ni ru oya'kari ti Ner'buir bal te brojor tome'tayl Ni partaylir, ne'tra. (Thank you. I do not remember. I was hunting with my father and the next memory I remember, black.)A'den looked around and saw NCO. A'den pointed to him.Ner'buir cuyi olar. (My father is here.)

A'den stumbled into thw Oyu'baat. All of his energy was gone. The hike had exhausted him. Maybe it was wearing his new armor, or maybe something else. A'den fell to his knees, and then leaned forward onto his hands, his rifle had dropped beside him. He breathed heavily, trying to collect himself...
