On Obroa, not much, a few tanks and speeder bikes. Guns and ammo. No more personnel to throw in, all the troops, basically everyone that can walk and hold a weapon, has been sent into the battle already. I have the feeling the Aseembly is always furious with Kaine and Clan Australis for one reason or another.

Things are looking good for Harini to become our new Mand'alor after Obroa-Skai where there have been excellent Mando posts from all involved, including the Fetts. Yes I said something nice about Fetts. It's been a fun RP. (Which i will post to soon)
Any political fallout from Clan Australis's attack on the First Order? We can address that if and when it comes.

Deep Space Rendezvous Point Alpha - Deep Core - Open SpaceTwo Nynir-class light cruisers decanted from hyperspace near RV Point Alpha in the Deep Core. Abrogator and Allspark, both line ships of Clan Australis. Both ships moved in to dock with the platform station, for refueling and rearming, and to take on and drop off personnel.
This was the first stage of Phase III of the Byss Operation, for which Kaine had given the go ahead order. Moving assets into place, and committing Clan assets to the upcoming battle, the die was now cast. The enemy would know who was coming for them, and it wouldn't be hard for them to figure out where.
Captain Helix of the Abrogator had the tougher mission, should Captain Orona on the Allspark not succeed. Both ships were crewed by veterans, and experienced in combat. Both Captains knew their individual missions, and their importance to the Byss operation.
With their deployment to the RV point, they and their crews knew that it could not be long now before they were ordered to go in. They knew this meant that the bulk of Clan Australis was coming behind them, relying on them to do their jobs so they could do theirs. Nobody was under any illusions as to the scale of the task ahead. They knew Kaine himself would be leading the charge, and so they could not ask less of themselves. Both cruisers took their time recharging, awaiting notifications to begin.

While the bulk of Kaine's commandos took shore leave down on Manda'yaim, in orbit, and aboard the Warlock-Class vessel Carnifex, the work continued at a rapid pace. The Night Witches and Riva Shiel had assigned themselves the task of checking and cataloguing the loaded arms and armaments, while the Copad Guard under the watchful eye of Sigurd-Adofo aided in loading and storing the cargo aboard the warship.
Carnifex would be packed to the gills for her trip to Byss. The ship would need to make a week long sublight journey through enemy space to arrive at the planet, all the while at low power, running silent, under cloak. For that week, her passengers would be able to do nothing other than hunker down, wait, and prepare their minds for combat. As such, they were throwing themselves into the hive of activity of preparation, knowing that a week of sitting on their shebs awaited.
In addition to the massive rearmament of the light star destroyer class ship, ensuring its energy reactors were driven up to full military power, and that her ammunition stocks were fully loaded, there was the further task of the expedition itself. Arming and outfitting a thousand supercommandos required a lot of kit. Not just weapons and ammunition and the large numbers of explosives, but rations and water for the duration. Fuel and energy cells for the vehicles and small craft, as well as munitions for same.
Each unit required tons of special orders. Vibroweapons for many of the units, as well as the much loved Verpine shatter weapons, Plasma weapons for the sappers, as well as the various illegal gear that the 8th so coveted. In this case it was fortunate that MandalArms was onside, it was easier to get hold of proscribed things like needlers, disruptors, and nuclear arms when you had inside access to the arms industry. Custom items, like the spear/blaster combi weapon of the Copad Guard, were produced by MandalArms in-house. Standard items like proton torpedoes, concussion missiles, thermal detonators, and blaster power packs were easily acquired in great quantity.
All the commandos and crew now knew what their mission was, and that it was to launch very soon. They now knew why security had been and continued to be high, the extracurricular shore leave notwithstanding. Once they set out toward Byss, they would spend a week in isolation, unable to see, unable to know what was coming, until the moment they arrived.
I am going to sleep for a week. Said Sigurd-Adofo to Riva Shiel. She rolled her Shistavanen eyes at him, eliciting a smile from the gold clad giant. Both of them knew that in a little over a week, they would be leading a hundred of their best into what might be their last battle. Neither of them shrank from the danger, but they knew it was there, waiting for them.

Kaine grinned. I'll walk off the booze and meet you there, ner vod.
It wasn't that he was opposed to doubling up on Kahn's swoop, or that being in close quarters would bother him, but Kaine really was feeling the effects of the drink. He wanted to be semi coherent when he chewed out the culprits that had organized whatever extracurricular expedition the commandos were on. Kaine suspected that it would be on the grand scale of shenanigans, given the mission they all knew was ahead.
He pushed back from the bar, intending to wander his way through Keldabe to the fields. A locator ping from the other Mando'ade gave him the location on his forearm's datapad, which he could get on his HUD. Hard to get lost that way, even when a little sozzled.
Looks like they're at the grounds just north of the city.
Bey, Kaine suspected, wasn't going to be as affected by the booze as him, and wouldn't need nav aids and HUD to find his way. Kaine realised just then he'd repeated himself. Kriff. Grunting with the effort and being loaded a little heavily, he heaved his shebs up and towards the door, heading for the playing fields.

Initiate Phase Three. ' Cerani stared at the words on the screen before her. Kad Damn, the old bastard was actually going through with his half-baked plan to assault Byss. She supposed that she couldn't fault his preparation, not with ten full companies of commandos and five divisions of the legions, along with more hardware than the Clan generally liked to carry with them. She was surprised, though she supposed she shouldn't have been, that Kaine had insisted on going in with the first wave.
Idly, she looked across the lists of units and resources assigned, and the level of preparation that Kaine had put into this mission. One last hurrah, she knew how he thought. He was certainly committing to the operation, utilizing most of the Clan's firepower in one swift devastating assault. They would be outnumbered, and the First Order knew that they were coming. Recent activity focused on the Byss system made that clear, though there had still been efforts to spread the enemy's attention; there would be no surprises here.
One kriffing ship. Kaine was betting his entire stack on a single roll of the dice. If his approach wasn't perfect, they were in serious trouble. She consoled herself that at least he would have the best of the best to aid him, and keep him out of trouble. The list of officers read like a who's who of Clan Australis. General Rhael Nebus would command the legions and the army. Kaine had included ten commando companies, and most of the Captains General; Grunt of the First and Attichitcuk of the Second. Riva Shiel would lead the Third, while Strabo represented Reyn and the Stormwolves. Luthi represented König and his Lion Cubs. The mercurial Bronzi led the 6th, the vaunted Redbacks, while Marbo and his 7th would bring their own brand of violence. That was not all. The 8th were included, a full hundred of the bastards, led by the nastiest Bothan bastard of all, Jaing Nail'ya. Any misbehaviour on their part would be curtailed by the presence of Sigurd-Adofo and his Guard. The golden giants were the pinnacle of gene-science and training, and each was a commanding presence on any battlefield. Along with these came Kaine's own Jare'rami'kade, the most eclectic and undisciplined of the lot, but they were all fine warriors.
Even a thousand Australis supercommandos would not stand against a world on their own. Rhael and her legions would come with the army and the bulk of the vehicles that would reinforce Kaine's initial assault into a comprehensive occupation, and destruction of resistance on the ground. He had selected well, with some serious surprises for the enemy, provided the reinforcements could make it to the ground. They would come in hot on the heels of the main assault, breaking out for the planet from the attack force, aiming to reach and reinforce Kaine before his commandos could be overwhelmed and wiped out.Cerani sighed, reached forward, and acknowledged receipt of the order. She had little left to do but wait and watch...

A single Lightstealth-18 dropped from hyperspace just short of the Prakith System, and began scanning. The vessel was crewed by preprogrammed droids, and carried out its work efficiently. The scans began noting defenses, scanning for power signatures of armed vessels, scanner returns from sensor networks, and monitoring communication frequencies. All the while, the ship remained ready to flee rather than fight if harrassed by enemy forces. They were scouts, not fighters.

An unmarked freighter, Baleen-Class, in some disrepair but still functional, exited hyperspace near the world of Tython. She was owned by MandalArms, and currently on loan to a Corellian arms supplier. Her IFF, which was deactivated, would show her as the Rum Bugger. She had a crew of twelve, all of whom were busy with various tasks. This was one of their last stops before jumping back to Corellia.
On the bridge, the Captain was quietly watching the distant planet of Tython through the main viewport, while the bridge officer carried out the scans which he'd been ordered to make of the system. The ship was old and slow, and survived because of her powerful sensor suite. It was trained outward, away from the planet itself, which was not the subject of their quiet survey. They were there to do a quiet favour for their Mando mates, and at their level, you didn't ask why when someone called in a favour. Idly the Captain wondered what the purpose was, but he kept his thoughts to himself...

Meshgeroya Fields - Outside Keldabe Outside the town of Keldabe, just beyond the walls, were a series of parade ground and sporting fields, which could double as landing fields in a pinch. Today, stands had been set up around one of the nicer playing pitches, and lines marked out for Mesh'geroya; the beautiful game. Played very similar to bolo-ball, the rules in Keldabe were a little more relaxed, with far fewer fouls and penalties than the galactic game.
A tournament of eight teams had been set up, with representatives making up squads of twenty, with eleven on the pitch at a time, including a goalkeeper. Even a commentary position was laid out, with one local and one Coruscanti forming the broadcast team. The matches were filmed and broadcast on the local HoloNET. A match was in progress, the Jare'rami'kade against the Redbacks. Each match played 45 minutes each way, with a break at the midway point. The first half was ticking down into stoppage time as the Redbacks moved the ball forward. A shot fired in hard was caught with ease by the Jare keeper, Bors the Besalisk. Not the fastest fellow on the field, but with four arms, he was good at his job. Moments later, a high ball came into his area, and the Besalisk collided heavily with the Redback striker, who went down and did not get up."Wasn't that a foul?""No, a hard but a fair challenge by the goalkeeper there.""But, wait, the Referee's given a yellow card.""Aye, but that'll be for arguing, not for the foul. Gotta respect the Referee's authority.""Indeed. Looks like the Redbacks will make a substitution here."A fresh red clad commando came on for the unfortunate starting striker, and play resumed. The match was played a lot rougher than Coruscant standard. Simply put, within five meters of the ball, anything went. And went on it did, with one player who laid a nasty right hook on an opposing Redback immediately thumped by several nearby Jare'rami'kade, and left on the ground."No foul there?" Asked the incredulous Naberrie."Fair play. Nobody kicked him while he was on the ground, always nice to see sportsmanship shown." Replied Biter, enjoying himself immensely. The commentator from Coruscant, much more used to the beautiful game, was shocked and dismayed to see the level of violence inherent in the medieval Mandalorian form of the sport, which seemed to involve as much combat as ball playing skill. None of the players seemed to mind, and the matches were as hard fought as they were entertaining. The crowd cheered every tackle and shot like they were watching the Galaxy Cup.

The innocent crew aboard the Coreward Bound never knew what hit them. Their ship was build to carry fuel, not a warship. The turbolaser blasts from the nearby Golan III lanced through their meager shields like a hot knife through butter. The blazing bolts of energy cut through the hull, piercing the ship in several places.Well within turbolaser range, it was a very large sitting duck of a target. Unfortunately for the hapless crew, as well as the Golan III and anything else within a few hundred kilometers, the freighter was packed with Rhydonium, an extremely volatile and explosive fuel. When it blew, it blew big, and spectacularly.Coreward Bound disappeared behind a white hot flash that eclipsed everything before it, as a massive shockwave balled out from the point of detonation. A colossal explosion, enough to rip apart the battlestation and anything else in nearby orbit in a fiery cloud of destruction. There would be nothing left of the freighter to sift through larger than a mosquito.
No doubt the First Order would not take kindly to the loss of a battlestation. They would begin to pay more attention to Empress Teta. They could not afford to risk such a valuable system, a system which would be less well defended with one of its Golan IIIs destroyed by what might look like an accident.
