Lucian remained perfectly still even at his relaxed version of attention. his feet shoulder length - planted firmly and his hands clasped bridge style behind his back. His attention remained on the Jedi and yet he became increasingly more aware of the girls behind him - slightly off to his side chatting amongst themselves. His focus returned to Aerandir the moment he spoke, and while Lucian's information about the prisoner was limited he would offer all he knew.
"The captain kept him separated from the Crusiers crew, and being a Vette pilot I never even laid eyes on him personally. What I know is we took him of a Chiss assault ship. One of they type with Masers so powerful I felt each blast was going to punch a hole in my ship. I'd never flown against the Chiss before, sir but this ship didn't seem to be a regular ship of the line - it was special. Had it not already taken serious damage we might not have been able to take her."
He realized he had gotten carried away with the description of the battle and failed to answer the Jedi's actual question. He coughed gently and stood a little straighter.
"All my orders said is he had a... presence... about him that was disturbing to the Troopers that Gadriel taught personally. The ones that are... gifted."
His hesitance in finding terms clearly indicating that he didn't wish to claim the clones had any real mastery of the Force and so insult a master of the occupation, and yet he hoped he had gotten his point across as he continued speaking with a short breath.
"We dusted our tracks well leaving Chiss space, we were not followed and we bounced once to Naboo before coming here just to be certain. And Altair had some business with a seer on the planet. As far as I know Master Jedi... No one is coming after him. In fact the damage the Assault ship had sustained leads me to believe that the Imperials had already whooped her once... sir"
Feeling as though he had granted all the information he could on the subject he took a half step to the side and gestured to the pair behind him.
"These young Jedi are from Endor I believe... they have a matter to bring to your attention that may be more pressing than mine. I am of course at your disposal but I do not wish to keep them waiting any longer Master Jedi."

Jez lead the platoon of Clone Troopers through the Base towards the Medical sector. The construction of the base had placed the Cloning Facilities in the same building as the Medical rooms which made her orders slightly more difficult as she could not effectively quarantine the Medical center on a planet such as this. You inhale a scent from the wrong plant and you could end up on your back for weeks without access to the proper antitoxin offered within this very building. Nevertheless she would execute her orders to the letter. The Clone Commander that had been given charge when D'lyes departed for Nar Shaddaa had already been briefed and when the group had finally reached the building he had already passed orders for his men to begin clearing out unnecessary personal and stationing a guard at each entrance to the facility itself, as well as the entrances to the Medical wing of the building. Within 20 minutes of arrival her men had secured the area and nothing short of a ghost or a shadow walker would be allowed entrance without permission from herself or Lucian.
She expected some sort of uproar or protest given by some worker or scientist or another, and trusted Lucian to sort things our with the Jedi Master that had taken command here since Alora had departed. She had never met the small Jedi Master, but she had seen her in passing and even once caught sight of her customized bright yellow Aurek fighter jumping in and out of hyperspace when they were all stationed above Zeltros - one of the most boring postings she had ever endured. Jez hated being planetside... the feeling of solid ground beneath her feet still made her queasy and she felt vulnerable without 3 feet of durasteel hull wrapped around her. Even the compliment of the 50 clones she had been given partial command over did nothing to lesson her nervousness... and nervousness made her irritable... being irritable made her rash... and she just knew if anyone got in her way right now she would be hard pressed to restrain herself from going off the rails.
"Captain?"
"WHAT?!"
She had reacted instantaneously - the intrusion to her trail of thought causing her to nearly jump off the ground as she stood outside the Cloning Facility overseeing the rest of the Clones still moving crates of materials and weapons back and forth from the Hanger Bay.
"Forgive the intrusion Captain, but my men are in position, the Facility is secure and we are prepared to begin research."
'Research' - - Jez nearly chuckled. They were sent here to prep for Altair's return with the half Shilor woman, and with the side mission of collecting the artifacts that hopefully still remained in tact upon this world. The Research he was speaking of was the hunt for those artifacts as well as the inquiry into the missions original text, which hopefully still held the key to everything that they would be doing here.
"Thank you Commander, We will see about gaining access to the archives when Lucian returns, for the moment bunker your men, and begin sending patrols into the Forest in search of the Spear of Kalis. teams of 15 at least... full gear. Lead them yourself Commander - I want no mistakes, and no casualties on this planet am I understood?"
The Clone Commander snapped to attention and saluted in Bothan Fashion waiting to be dismissed.
"Also send for Awen... If Gadriel'lya ever mentioned this project to anyone it would have been her, and her knowledge of this world and clone physiology will be crucial to our success. You are dismissed Commander."
Jez returned the salute, her own form perhaps a little lack luster when compared to the Commanders but as a fleet officer she never really had ever taken to a formal salute, the aspect not carrying much weight behind a comm that usually separated her from whomever she was receiving orders from. Regardless the Commander turned on his heels and moved into the Facility to see to her orders. Jez exhaled and turned to face the direction she had came from, the large dome of the Hanger Bay obscuring her vision of the Landing Pad holding The Requiem from her sight and whispered against the sight of the sun setting on the other side of the Base.
"Lucian what is keeping you..."

New Vertica - Landing pad 42 - Entertainment District
The vessel he was currently aboard had landed several hours ago, and out the viewport granted to him, on the entire left wall of the conference room he was granted as his 'prison', he could see the lights and clear evidence of pollution that certainly plagued this planet. The vermin here had built a metropolis around the entire planet it would seem - something he had seen nothing like. There was no elegance - no grace in the planets design, if there even was one and he had begun to think that civilization was beyond these uncivilized barbarians. If this is what awaited his people, and their homeworlds under the control of the Empire and the rule of the First Order, if this is the 'advancement' and glory of the empire that they spoke so highly of... he wanted none of it. It made him sick just to see it.
He closed his blood red eyes, blocking the offensive image of the planet from his senses and exhaled several times - slow even breaths. He grounded himself in what he knew, his mind began to relax. He sat cross legged upon the long rectangular table positioned in the center of the room. The chairs he had moved to the right side to clear the view so he could see the stars as the ship had moved through hyperspace but now he had wished he had blanketed the walls completely. Burgundy curtains with the emblem of his house hung against the bulkhead on either side of the door which had remained closed since his jailer had left on a mission that would hopefully be the end of him and the group of false men that held him here. Only two remained upon the ship now, an entity he had been informed was named Janus - apparently they were created in unison with one another and their primitive constructed minds were in some way linked to one another creating a single consciousness. The thought brought a taste of bile to his mouth - a perversion of all the natural order - its like wouldn't have been allowed to exist within his civilization. Regardless, when the time came he doubted they would prove much of a threat, it was Altair that concerned him. There was something about the gruff human that pricked at his conscious ever since his capture aboard The Everquest...
The name as it passed his process of thoughts brought him to a pause, and he inhaled the long breath he had been slowly releasing to calm his mind. His eyes were still closed, and yet images began to flash before his minds eye. A vessel more grand than any he had been aboard in his life not a battle cruiser or a warship that his race had perfected centuries before the most of the Universe had even dreamed of touching the stars... this was a ship without rival even though its design was taken from the outworlders Outbound Flight, a failed attempt to colonize the Unknown Region many centuries earlier - The Everquest was the peek of non-military innovation and the legacy of the Inrokini Family. Everything about the vessel was state of the art, and its secrecy and defense was unrivaled. The vessel was intended to colonize a region of space on the far side of Chiss Space, deep into the black into space unknown by them. However the Invasion several years ago by the First Order had caused the project to be put on hold, and the fleet assigned to guard it retasked to defend Csilla, and eventually destroyed leaving The Everquest defenseless save for a single combat cruiser... which was no match for the fleet that had eventually discovered them.
The very distinct 'THUD' of the landing ramp hitting the ground just outside the conference room brought him from his memories and the Chiss opened his ruby colored eyes - narrowing them menacingly towards the sound as if the affront caused by the interruption would not go unchallenged, but he simply exhaled once again and shook his head knowing that finally Altair... and his team of false men... had departed...

"Aye sir!"
Lucian's ridged form seemed to relax, but only slightlyh. Even if Lucian and his men did not answer specifically to this Jedi, the respect for a clear authoritative figure was engrained deep within him. He was created with it and it would be near impossible for him to relax completely within the Jedi's presence. Regardless, Lucian would respect the Jedi's wishes in regards to his name - Gadriel had always hated the formalities as well.
"The actions are intended for the security of the base enhabitence as well as the safety of my men, we are going to be holding a few somewhat dangerous 'artifacts' from the chaos war that ended upon this planet during our late commanders tenure here."
Lucian's glance passed to the children, realizing his words could hinder his intentions to send the group after one such artifact, but he would navigate that asteroid field when he came to it. His eyes snapped back to Aerandir, still partially deaf to anything else that was going on. His focus entirely forward facing at the moment.
"Also i should report a fleet action taken by my commanding officer against the First Order in the Unknown Region of space. A Prisoner was taken, however my Captain would not allow the prisoner out of his presence and so Altair will be bringing him when he arrives with the Shilor's daughter."

Lucian noticed Kaiya fall silent and while he raised an eyebrow at this and tilted his head as if to inquire as to her thoughts, but before he could say anything Ellie spoke, answering his question, but really creating three or four more. his brows knitted together in thought but he didn't have long to process the information she had given him, that is... the little information she had offered... before he heard the pair of mismatched footsteps moving towards them. He raised his eyes to the pair, a girl that couldn't be a few years over 10, and a man who could only be the Master of this base, and perhaps to some, this planet. Must be the aforementioned "Master Calmcacil" and his daughter, he clearly had already sized up the group and identified him, an assumption which was ratified moments later when the Jedi addressed him by name, then the girls.
"Master Calmcacil I presume. Yes, Captain Lucian of the Hammerhead Corvette "Maugrim".
Lucian's ingrained training kicked in and his entire body tensed as he snapped to attention saluting the Jedi in the Bothan style that Gadriel had taught them all, a right fist slammed with a thud against his left breast just off left of his heart. He hesitated a moment at attention before he relaxed as the Jedi addressed the woman and waited until Ellie looked at him obviously expecting him to speak first. His eyes passed to Niam and the other whom the Jedi had introduced as Morgan before looking back to the Master.
"I am under orders from Captain Altair Sirraf, whom has taken command of the late Jedi Master Gadriel's defense fleet. He has ordered me to return here and... and to lend myself to the aide of the defense of this planet, to do everything within my power to progress in the efforts of making the armies of Felucia battle ready against the recent threat that now moves against the galaxy."
He recited his orders regardless of the presence of the young group, they would be a part of them soon regardless. He couldn't risk the children not knowing the truth, if they were going to be on the mission he had in mind.
"In preparation of this I have landed 50 clones and taken temporary command of the cloning facilities attached to this base. I trust that does not countermand any of your current operations."
The last was not spoken as a question, or with any amount of confrontation, simply as a statement of discussion. He still stood stiffly at some sort of attention, and while he knew that the small group was waiting for more intimate details concerning the mission he had in store for them he wasn't going to break eye contact with the Jedi Master now before him.

Riley raised an eyebrow at the AI's voice on the comm before shifting his gaze to his bridge staff.
"Was I just yelled at by a toaster?"
No one answered him, and few even looked up from their work to register his would be joke, and after a moment Riley shook his head and reestablished communications.
"My computer is fully capable of processing and confirming a ships ID, and I have no plans to put you out of a job, its just so... boring up here, doesn't anything ever happen?"
Riley fell back into the command chair with a huff fingering at the control panel on the arm of the chair tapping his foot against the durasteel flooring beneath his boots that made up the ships bridge floor. Not the prettiest ship he'd ever seen... it was in serious need of upgrades... even with his current crew still attempting to get her back in shape after the run in with the Chiss First Order fighters in the Unknown region. When Altair returned, he was going to go fleet shopping that was for certain. When Culex told him about the First Order bases in the Sector he at least had something to do, and brought up a holomonitor detailing last known files of those planets.
Hmm I suppose I could send a message to a few people I know... see if we could get any further information on that. But it wouldn't matter which planet served as their home base, the fleet is whats important, and you mentioned Dantooine? Is that where the First Order is currently engaged or has that battle passed?

Lucian fell into a brooding silence for a few moments as the conversation carried. His eyes remained upon the newly arrived pair and he seemed to be considering the myriad of questions put to him by one of the twins, Kaiya. He was hesitant to explain everything here in the open, and even he hadn't been given all the answers, just a laundry list of items to attain while on the planet while Altair himself went after the complicated one - the Journal of Macros the Black. He chuckled at the mention of the Spear being an imperial weapon or dark artifact and shook his head slightly whispering so not to interrupt the planning of the team.
"No no, the Spear is quite literally a spear, used in battle against a Dark Being that once held sway over this world. The one who used it was in league with a race of powerful beings, might have been one himself - the records on this matter are unclear, and this one I never met personally, only saw him in action once near the end of the War. Before he died that is..."
His eyes passed to Lana as the conversation carried on, her replies were odd - and he could tell that Niam was beginning to pick up on them. Clearly the girl was not a normal human child, and he paused for a moment to look at the girl with some degree of concentration before determining to himself that she was not a clone either, one clone usually could always notice another - but something about her was different. Hell, everything about this place was 'different' these days. He smirked at Lana's reply and nodded before finally speaking up to the group.
"I agree I think she'll be of use, but of course your team leader should make the choice and not me."
His eyes passed from Koda to Niam then back again before chuckling softly to himself. He had intended on requesting a meeting with the Master, but if he was to be coming here then he supposed he might as well hang around until he appeared. His eyes finally passed back to Ellie, hoping the question that followed would not seem overly forward or intrusive.
"You mentioned you were from Endor? What brings you all the way out here... are you on a hunt?"

"Fleet Commander Riley? Is that what he really introduced himself as?"
Lucian shook his head, but clearly did a very poor job of hiding his amusement at the news the twins had brought him. Turning slightly to face the Kaiya he muffled a laugh to further embarrass his superior officer ~At least for the time being~ he thought with further amusement, and at last thought to bring understanding to the cause of his amusement.
"Give him a tiny speck of authority and it seems to go right to his head 'fleet' is a bit of an overstatement considering we only have 4 ships at the moment, and 'commander' well... he's been left in charge for the time being, but he's truly little more than a senior bridge officer at best. Nakor left the conn to Altair upon his... death... who in turn left it to him while he is on Mission... so really...
Lucian shook his head waving away the particulars that he doubted they were truly interested in hearing about and got around to the inquiry at hand. He wasn't really expecting this sort of reception upon arriving here, he had expected a handful of Jedi bored out of their minds - or the polar opposite and the planet was on fire with war. But looked to be that this place truly had become the would be "Capital" of the Jedi Order... people were coming here from all over the place.
"I am afraid that my business is a little more drawn out than can be seen to in a single afternoon, These brave crewmen were actually considering helping me retrieve something rather dangerous from the Vanishing Place, a piece of a much larger puzzle it would seem. As for you two lovelies... you wouldn't happen to know where to find the Spear of Kalis... would you?

Lucian nodded slightly at the returned bow and the introduction. His green eyes passed back and forth between the two women. Clearly they were twins, the words accuracy was written across their faces, unlike it was upon his and his own twin. The moments hesitation could have been seen as rude and upon realizing he was blantantly staring at the girl he blinked a few times and stammered a reply.
"Lu...Lucian, Captain Lucian of the Felucian Conclave's Hammerhead Corvette Maugrim."
Lucian's glance moved back to the other sister briefly nodding in greeting as well. He straightened his stance a bit seeming to have forgotten himself for far to long.
"My own twin has moved our squad to the Cloning Building behind the Jedi Base, and that is where I am bound once finished here. But where are my manners, this is Niam, and Lana, and Koda."
He gestured around the group with the introductions starting with the young Arkanian he had been speaking with when the pair had entered and addressed him. The small group had taken his interest nearly as soon as he had landed here himself and he hadn't been able to bring himself to part with the much needed conversation after so many years in Space. Being on land made him antzy after a time, but he missed the people, and the smell of this world, it was so different from the sterile air aboard the vette, here it seemed poison lingered even in the air you inhaled, and if you inhaled in the wrong place that could be true - regardless it brought a thrill to life that he couldn't find anywhere but in the heart of battle.

Lucian half turned towards the one speaking, looking about for a moment to see if she was truly addressing him, but hesitated a moment upon seeing her. He had of course heard the roar of engines approaching, from the sound of the resonance an old and very temperamental transport ship. ~oh Jez isn't going to like this~ was the only thought that went through his head before he looked her up and down and half bowed in reply.
"Greetings miss... With hope, these enterprising young lads were about to carry a message to the Master of this Academy, apparently he is a very busy man. Felucia, over night it seems, has become the Capital Planet of the entire Jedi Order."
He looked over her shoulder towards the other and nodded slightly before glancing back at Niam for any sort of conformation he would do so, but his eyes returned to the one that had addressed him shortly.
"You're more than welcome to search for him i suppose, or you could come with me and await his response to my own inquiry."

Riley nodded at the statement, and he thought it would be a decent idea to not bring up the fact that there was a very good reason why Jedi Mandalorians were few and far between. He transferred her a temporary security code to bypass the defenses on the base planetside.
This code will give you access to the Jedi Base Hanger Bay, once there if you can find no one else to help you, ask for a Captain Lucian - as a last course he is one of mine, and might be able to help you. Best of luck Ellie... was it?
He smirked slightly and send the AI a short message informing him of the girls presence on the planet below, as well as a request of information of various First Order Bases in the Eastern Outer Rim.

Riley nearly chuckled off comm, he seemed to have struck a nerve. The information she offered did little more to grant any insight into what she was talking about. He had never heard of any group of Sith or even Dark Jedi going by that name. Clearly his usefulness had run its course. Once the scan of the ship was complete and he was sure the ship could cause no real threat to the Base below, and the ships credentials had been checked against their outdated system he reached for the Comm again.
No intended disrespect Jedi, simply doing my job. I am afraid i can offer no information on the ones you seek. If you wish I can grant you clearance to land and you can take your inquiries to the Jedi Masters below. Calmcacil seems to run things now, i'd ask for him or one of his Knights.

Riley's eyebrows wrinkled at the mention of the Sith, he hadn't been in contact with them for several years, with the notable exception of the guest that gave off a very dark vibe they had been hauling about the Galaxy with them until a few weeks ago. He ordered the bridge crew to check the Planets comm channels once again, but without access to the planets computer through the AI he had been negotiating with he had no way of knowing if there were any Sith on the planet anyways - however he had believed in the short time that he had been here that the Jedi had a firm hold on the planet and wouldn't allow any such thing from occurring on their planet. There was also that Sith on Naboo, that Altair had informed him of, but he was a member of the Wayward Son's crew and probably was unrelated. Something about the girls name however caused him to pause.
Miss... Ordo? The Mandalorian clan Ordo? You're not a bounty hunter are you... the Jedi have control of the Planet below and i do not believe the Sith have been given sanctuary here for years.
While he awaited a reply he silenced his comm and ordered his crew to scan the ship. His eyes fell on the bulbus transport ship through the side viewport and finally reactivated his comm.
To your inquiry however I do not believe there are any active Sith on the Planet. Do you have any further information on this cell, a name perhaps?

Riley had barely finished admiring the Mon Calamari take on an Imperial design of star dreadnought when the AI had got around to replying. The Landing craft he had sent towards the planet had long since landed and he had received conformation of their safe arrival. Riley did not like the Idea of placing command of the ground operation in the hands of a pilot, even one who had distinguished himself in combat on numerous occasions and risen through the ranks from a tactical pilot to a corvette pilot, given a few more years he would be given his own cruiser, but he was a Spacer, not meant to be on the ground and not created to lead ground missions. He belonged in the air. Riley's attention was drawn back to the AI when the skirmishes on Dantooine were mentioned, he had heard nothing of them, or any other Jedi operation in the Galaxy - they had been out of the loop for to long.
Do you mind if we link our computer to your records, we have some catching up to do I am afraid. We were stuck in the Unknown Region on our last mission for more years than I wish to recant.
The ships proximity alarm went off and Riley's attention turned just as the ship broke out of Hyperspace. They had already linked with the planets frequencies to pick up on any transmissions sent or received through the planet's comm system. Riley's eyes narrowed on the ship as the transmission finished and he nodded to his Communications officer to open comms to the ship.
This is Fleet Commander Riley, While you wait for confirmation on your landing is there anything I might do to be of assistance?

Lucian nodded slightly looking back and forth between the pair. A cleansing of the Vanishing Place was an interesting bit of news, perhaps it would make the mission less dangerous for the group. Still, it would be doubtful that they would have gone as deep as the lower dungeons where Ramius had made his fortress, the last raid had left the only known entrance blocked, though Madigan had shown the Jedi ways in and out before before the war ended. While they grouped he pulled out his own datapad and synced it to the device Niam had in his hands, and before speaking transfered a file to the device.
"I've transferred my files on the Vanishing Place to your Datapad. The last known location of the Hat is indicated on the Map of the lower prison catacombs, there were a series of secret passages that you'll have to take, that is... if you agree to take the mission. Overlook the files and speak to your supervisors if need be and get back to me when you've made up your mind. I'll probably be in the cloning Facilities setting up shop and seeing to my men."
Slipping his datapad back into his the pouch on his belt he looked back up at the group before he turned to leave.
"This Master Calmcacil... Do you think you could get a message to him for me?"

Choal

Post by Altair Sirraf on Feb 6, 2017 15:25:49 GMT -8
17 days
Rain pelted down on the empty streets of the capital city of Choal. It was an hour before dawn and an hour before the countless amounts of workers would be up and about their average days. To those that worked day to day in the mines in the cities outskirts, and to those that lived within the city slums and poor sectors - those that felt the squeeze of the First Orders gauntlet the most - the next hour would pass without consequence as they kept their heads down and looked to the days work. The large majority of them wouldn't care what would happen 18 days from now, they didn't look forward to it. They only cared about the food that they would put on the table for their families. They only cared about whether or not the mineshaft supports would hold today. They only cared about their own lives, and what they had to do to extend them just another day.
16 days
Rain pelted down on the bustling streets of the capital city of Choal. It was an hour after dawn and the streets were packed with people moving about their labors, selling their wares in the streets, getting supplies for the factories and ore refineries that were responsible with refueling the war engine of the First Order. The members of the cities upper class - the children of the children of those that had sold our the poor and the working class to the Imperial order so their world could be saved, and their positions of influence upon the world would be maintained. Those few... they counted down the days... 17 days until the celebration of the year. one full year had passed since the occupation of Jabiim by the First Order. 17 days to prepare for the party!
15 days
Rain pelted down on the roof of the Java shop within the capital city of Choal. Within idealists and fools both spoke in hushed whispers. They all knew something had to be done, the First Order and the 'rich' that lived in the cities inner circle didn't care about them, they hadn't been sneaking them food for their families through the cities import stations, they hadn't been smuggling in medicine for their sick children. It wasn't sure how the shipments had been brought in, and it was never much - but a few weeks ago they had begun to show up in the stock rooms of the Java shop. Nothing had been broken, no doors had been left unlocked, and the meager security devices that the shopkeep had in place hadn't caught anything...
14 days
Rain pelted down on the Barracks building within the inner circle of the capital city of Choal. That morning when the roll came from the First Order Barracks they would find that 14 Troopers did not appear for duty that morning, and on the side of the barracks building, above a pile of the missing troopers bloodstained armor '14 days' was written in the troopers blood upon the wall. Once again security devices would recover nothing of use, how the troopers went missing could not be determined without further investigation, and the tone that was left after the messages discovery was ominous at best. 14 days until the Celebration... 14 days remained until "Empire Day"... and now a message had been left for the First Order... 14 days.
