*No sooner had Vakim departed than a comm came in. Aerandir gestured towards the console, deactivating the holographic display and opening the comms channel. Jair's voice was indeed unmistakable. Frowning at the mention of a "situation," he asked,* "Malfunction? Is it being unusually aggressive?"

*Aerandir returned the bow before shaking his head.* "Other than to remember that this will be quite dangerous, but the Force will be with us. Any further briefing can be done before takeoff. For now, I have a few last-minute tasks to carry out, but I will meet with you in the hangar soon."

*Aerandir entered the hangar, flanked by a pair of Temple Guards. The craft was an... interesting choice for a Mandalorian vessel, but he paid it little mind. What was unmistakable, however, was the appearance of the Mand'alor herself. The Mandalorians were... often loose cannons, to say the least, but Aerandir could at least say he'd had more good experiences with them than bad.
Thus far, anyhow.
His eyes were, of course, drawn to the cargo behind them, but he sensed no danger from them. Quite the opposite in fact; the sensation he perceived was familiarity. He squinted at the crates, tapping into the Force for a bit of visual aid. Familiarity was accurate: They were filled with, of all things, holocrons and lightsabers. Immediately he got the feeling this entire thing was diplomatic, but he only continued his approach and stopped a few feet from the Mandalorian, giving a short bow.* "Welcome to our Temple, Mandalore the Bureaucrat."
*Now that he said the name aloud, it didn't help his suspicions of intended diplomacy.
Ignoring that, he asked,* "What brings you to Felucia?"

"Heh, well, 'fortunately' for us, we're already in the middle of a war." *Aerandir examined the hologram again, already having a decent strategy in mind but finding Vakim's information useful knowledge. He reconciled this with existing plans, mulling them over briefly.* "But yes, the beacon was activated in space, before being taken to the planet. As far as my plan, diplomacy is more or less out of the question. Which is why I intend to infiltrate with stealth. Failing that... your crew will indeed be needed I would think."

"Just this." *Aerandir gestured to the hologram, where it highlighted the number of First Order ships in orbit over the world.* "This scan is from when we first picked up the signal. There are more ships than are usually present over a First Order-controlled world. Reports corroborate increased security on the planet, though reasons are unknown. The Galactic Empire once had a weapons factory there, as well as where they built and tested a prototype superlaser for the second Death Star. I'd hope this information is irrelevant."
*Turning to Vakim again, he said,* "As for the signal's origin, the simplest explanation? Someone just broke free of stasis. There are various other more complex possibilities that aren't exactly impossible but are best left unimagined for the time being."

*Aerandir nodded gratefully in response to his lack of hesitation. When asked about the age of the signal, he answered,* "From the Clone Wars. That's one reason I don't suspect it's a trap; the Clone Wars are nigh on ancient history by this point. And, shockingly, it wouldn't be the first time. Granted, if the First Order were made aware of this, then they could play off of that to spring a trap, I realize. However, it's less the data that convinces me, and more the feeling."

*Aerandir stood by the window overlooking the gardens as Vakim entered. He turned to face the Chistori, picking up a faint hint of confusion from the newcomer.* "There's something wrong, but not with your mission. Well done. No, there's something else." *He gestured towards a holoprojector in the center of the room. At his command, a map of the galaxy came to life, zooming into the outer rim, highlighting the space around the planet Dubrillion.* "We picked up a distress signal near Dubrillion... a Jedi one, but a rather old one." *He stepped partially into the projection, disrupting the space around Dubrillion, as he looked closer at the planet.* "Deep into enemy territory..."
*Glancing back at Vakim, he added,* "Yet I don't suspect a trap. I believe a rescue is in order. I'm sorry to do this to you so soon after returning from a mission, but your timing was perfect. You're free to decline, but I'm going to need a small infiltration team to sneak in and extract. Will you help us?"

I don't personally have any missions off the top of my head, although I'm going to try to poke other writers in your direction to help you get involved with stuff involving criminality, the First Order, darksider shenanigans, etc. Worst-case scenario I'm more than willing to cook up something. I was considering making a Felucian (Order wise, not race) Jedi too. Darn, got my hopes up for a second. Felucians are cool. But you'd be more than welcome as well!

To further clarify, it seems to just be posts that used the site's special codes, like "action" and "narration." Might be safe to assume the "comm" and "force_speak" commands are affected as well. Posts using their own manual coding are fine.

Double-checked, it's not just you. I wondered if it was possibly because you were viewing it on mobile but no, same error on desktop.

*Aerandir shook his head.* "No, they've made it clear they're not Sith. They always operate separate, sometimes of their own volition. Seems to be a less-restrained splinter faction of the First Order, similar to the Imperial Knights..." *He mentally dwelt on the subject a moment longer, knowing that Soku Ren still operated publicly, however neither of them had crossed paths since that shortlived treaty, over ten years ago.
Shaking his head again, this time to change the subject, he said,* "Seems like you've earned your rest. Your quarters should still be available to you, untouched. Not exactly fond of clearing out quarters if the owner's merely MIA, not unless we need them."

*Aerandir's eyebrows flickered upwards briefly; he had expected the captain to go through with the cross-referencing for professionalism's sake. A step Aerandir would likely pursue regardless, and follow up on with them later. For now, he simply extended the saber towards Inaris so that he may take it, nodding after he spoke.* "The Sith have regrown in secret. Here I thought these 'Knights of Ren' were assuming their place as our adversary, but they've seemingly been merely the frontline of the First Order's forces. As such, an ample distraction while the Sith rebuilt..."
*He looked Inaris up and down; regardless of the latter's current condition, he seemed eager to aid.* "I wouldn't presume to ask for your help immediately after your return... at least not after you've had a chance to clean up." *A smile crossed his features.* "I'm concerned that I'm starting to grow used to long-missing Jedi suddenly returning to us from the depths of the jungle."

*Aerandir only gave a small nod when Inaris assumed his medical records were intact. When presented with the lightsaber, he raised a hand, levitating the saber towards him and examining it. With his other hand, he held up the datapad, corroborating the description with the weapon floating before him. It all checked out, if not appearing just a little worse for wear. With a thought, he lit the weapon, just to confirm the color matched, before extinguishing it.
And then he looked deeper, for Inaris had assumed correctly his intentions. The mark of its creator was always present in the heart of the crystal, bonded with its owner through deep meditation. One could fake another's appearance, even mark in the Force... but they could not fake a bond that deep. And indeed, the imprint within the crystal was inextricably linked to the man standing before him.*
"This lightsaber without a doubt belongs to this man," *Aerandir said at last, addressing the captain.* "If that's not enough proof for you, all we'd need is to cross-reference his medical records."

*The comment about garbage chutes brought a brief smile to Aerandir's lips before it quickly became neutral once more. Inwardly he began to reflect as Inarin—presumably—continued. His decision not to arrive at the Jedi Temple and "expect no one to bat an eye" was also amusing, considering Morgan's recent return, but it was hardly a comparable situation.
Nodding, Aerandir said,* "Understandable. I'd think it'd be simple enough to confirm your identity, assuming you didn't wipe your medical records at some point." *Another brief smile crossed his expression.* "Failing that, there are other means." *He glanced at the captain.* "Did he have any weapons on him?"

Luxeria - Go ahead and go planetside. Small tidbit though, it's meant to be common knowledge that the Jedi didn't leave and instead rebuilt.

Hope you are ok and all is well All's good, great even, just hung out with a few internet friends for the weekend and it sucked saying "goodbye" is all. I began and ended that sentence with the same word. I hate this. As the Great Hunt seems to have come to a halt, my plans for this to take place during it has been altered. As such, I’m seeking permission to infiltrate Felucia to check in on the Jedi provided Viox Savage agrees to such as mission for the sake of encountering and capturing @kahn to be taken to the Dark Jedi Let's do it.

*It was accurate information, but Aerandir gave no visible acknowledgement just yet. Instead, he asked,* "Why turn yourself over to planetary security and not the Temple itself?"

*The doors to the Council Chambers slid open, allowing Aerandir, the Temple guards, the law enforcement officials, and their captive to enter. He shut the door behind them, then wasted no time in approaching the captive and asking,* "So, where exactly were you when you turned yourself over?"
