*Ellie chased after Alema'vrei, the Wookiee in tow.*
"As long as you can hit a target we'll be okay."
*She hurried up the ramp and into the cockpit. The ship itself, she noted, seemed to be full of supplies of some sort. She dropped down into the pilots seat and began to run though pre-flight checks. Once the board ran green and the ships engines gave a low hum. She eased the massive ship out of the makeshift hangar.*
"Alright, where to? You know this planet better then I do."

*Ellie turned to Alema'vrei an spoke in a low voice.*
"He's not a beast. He's a Wookiee, and yes I want to help him. His kind have fallen to slavers and hunters for thousands of years."
*She then turned to the Wookiee again.*
"Do you have a name, can you tell us that at least."
*The Wookiee gave a guttural growl. A simple statement as to who he was.*
"Freyyr. Okay. Like I said we're here to help. Now, do you know what happened to everyone else that was here?"
*Freyyr simple shook his head no. Then gave several roars followed be a low grumble. When he was done Ellie turned to Alema'vrei.*
"He says their gone. The slavers took all the force users, then they..didn't need the rest." *Ellie knew what that meant, the rest were disposed of. This caused a pit to form in her stomach. What kind of people were these slavers.* "I'm sorry. I think we should leave this place."
Alema'vrei was still terrified of this thing, which the human called a Wookiee. She had never been off world, never even heard of such a thing, and the fact that it spoke in grunts and growls did little to reassure her it was intelligent or friendly. She kept Ellie between herself and the... Freyyr. We're supposed to be helping people in the city, and we've gone in the opposite direction. You... uh... Wonky, or whatever you are, are there any transports left here? Preferably with guns? Meanwhile...Jer'afa pointed toward the sky, drawing Mahir's attention to the missiles incoming on the city. *Freyyr gave a growl at the term 'Wonky'. He then turned his attention to the question Alema'vrei asked. Giving a loud roar, he turned and began to quickly make his way down a hallway. Ellie followed after while shouting at the medic behind her.*
"Yes there's a ship. Or atleast it should still be there."
*The wookiee lead them down the hallway, pausing every now and then to get his bearings before darting off. He lead them to a large open chamber that was once a hangar. What was there almost made Ellie stop in her tracks. There, sitting on its struts, was an old AIAT/i gunship. The slavers had in fact left behind a ship, and one with guns also. Ellie turned to Alema'vrei and gave a mischievous grin.*
"Yeah, I think we might be able to use this one."

Crom'nen heard the shuttles arrive, confirming, to him at least, what he suspected. This was largely an attempt to draw him out. They were within miles of his location in the southern portion of the city, while most of the "action" took place in the northern part, where the fires and firefights were largely contained.
The pilots, not limited to such boundaries, started to spread into lose formations, with each flight of four taking on a single droid. Talon Leader, squadron commander, knew his job. His pilots were well trained. They had received their orders. Now they were in the fight of their lives.
Meanwhile...
When Mahir awoke, his blaster was in place, but his blade was in the hands of the rooms other lone occupant, the Force wielding Twi'lek who had tried to help him. He now stood at the window, looking out.
Meanwhile...Alema'vrei was nearly panicked with fear. She probably would have fired when the thing jumped up, but she was too slow. Now the Jedi girl was trying to help it. She did not try to be rude, but she was very ignorant. She spoke in low tones. You understand... beast? You want to trust it? I mean, I'm all for killing slavers, but this thing... I mean, Worm got in trouble for bringing you in. *Ellie turned to Alema'vrei an spoke in a low voice.*
"He's not a beast. He's a Wookiee, and yes I want to help him. His kind have fallen to slavers and hunters for thousands of years."

Alema'vrei adjusted her grip nervously. She was nervous for several reason. First, she had no idea what she was looking at. She had never seen a Wookiee before. In fact, Ellie was the only being she had ever seen with hair. Second, she had no way of knowing if the "thing" understood her, or if it would be friendly. Third, she assumed it would not be friendly. Why else would the slavers lead it? Fourth, if it was not friendly, she was not sure if a stun bolt would put it down. Fifth, if a stun bolt did not put it down, she was not sure she would get a second shot. Sixth, she could not help but wonder where her people were. You sure about this? *Ellie gave Alema'vrei a hesitant glance but didn't respond. She activated her lightsaber and cut the restraints. The shackles didn't even hit the ground before the Wookiee rose to his full height. He toward above her and the medic. He let out a roar before darting past Ellie and into the hallway. Panicking slightly Ellie chased after him. She found him darting from room to room searching for something.*
"What are you doing? You can at least say thank you."
*The Wookiee let out a low rumble and continued his search.*
"Hunting? what are you hunting?"
*The Wookiee let out another growl.*
"You're hunting slavers? Well so are we." *She glanced back at Alema'vrei then back to the Wookiee.* "Let us help you. We will help you. Right Alema'vrei?"
*The Wookiee turned her attention to the two. He was large, just barely fitting into the hallway. The dark brown fur on his head was breaded in warrior fashion. His eyes studied Ellie for a minute before giving a growl of agreement.*

How the froz did we not know about this place? The medic shook her head in a mix of fear and disgust, the set her pistol to stun and waited to follow the girl. *Ellie shook her head at Alema'vreis question.*
"We'll think on that later. For now though."
*She turned her attention to the door. Holding her hand up with three fingers extended, she began to countdown. When she hit zero, she kicked in the door and activated her lightsaber. The red blade cast a eerie glow across the dark room. She was expecting slavers or slaves, but what greeted them caught her off guard. In the middle of the room was a large furry being, the creature let out a roar of rage the second it spotted them. Ellie stumbled back, caught unaware of what she was seeing for a second, then it hit her, a Wookiee. The Wookiee was chained to the floor by his wrists, much in the same manner she had been. The look of anger filled his eyes and face, he was no slaver but a victim of them. Ellie exchanged a look of surprise with the medic before turning back to the Wookiee. Lowering her blade, she tried speaking in a soft voice.*
"Don't be afraid. We're here to help." *She slowly took a step forward. This only gained a low growl from the Wookiee in front of her. Standing her ground Ellie turned to Alema'vrei with a look the said 'Help'. Frankly she wasn't sure if the Wookiee understood her, or if she could really deal with an angry Wookiee in her exhausted state. De-activating her lightsaber, she placed it on her belt and held up her hands in a nonthreatening manner.* "We won't hurt you, I promise. We're friends..friends, right. I need you to listen okay. We're going to let you free, as long as you don't hurt us. Do you understand?"
*The Wookiee stared at the pair curiously. Some of his anger seemed to be gone, but he was still cautious. He then gave a nod and a low gutteral rumble indicating his agreement. Ellie turned to the medic and gave a nod. It was time to see if the Wookiee kept his word.*

*Ellie gave a smirk at Alema'vrei's comment.*
"Maybe it is. Either way, I'm going in."
*So she made her way into the bunker. Something felt off to her though. The entrence to the bunker was empty, no power, no life, nothing. Cautiously she made her way forward, lightsaber at ready but unlit. All around her were signs of a hurried evacuation. Crates and boxes overturned, even some supplies left behind. Ellie lowered the lightsaber an looked around.*
"I don't think there's anyone here anymore. But then..what did I sense?"
*It seemed odd to her. There was no way the slavers could have gotten out of there that fast, even if they were alerted to incoming forces. Closing her eyes, Ellie tried to locate what she sensed earlier. Stretching out with the force took its toll whoever. She swayed in spot for second, but it was a long enough second to get a faint bearing on the target. She pointed down a side hallway to their left.*
"That way."
*She slowly moved forward down the hallway. The hallway itself was lined with cell doors, each were opened or slightly cracked, all empty save one. Near the end of the hall was a closed door. Inside, Ellie could hear faint sounds, like heavy breathing. Leaning up against the wall Ellie turned to Alema'vrei and whispered.*
"When I give the order, we go in."

*Ellie continued her stride towards the bunker.*
"Nope. I'm tired and want to get this over with."
*She came to a stop in front of the large blast door and scanned it over. It was then that she realized that it was not fully shut. She tilted her head to the side and stared at the small crack in the door. Closing her eyes she reached out with the force, burning up nearly the last of her energy. Grabbing the door with the force, she began to move the massive door along its tracks until it was half open. She let go of the door and almost dropped to the ground. Steadying herself, she turned to Alema'vrei.*
"Doors open. You coming?"

*Ellie staggered to her feet and pointed towards the bunker.*
"There, in the bunker. Not many other places they can be around here." *She moved towards the bunker. Her feet slightly dragging.* "Lets get this over with."

*Ellie just glared at the fighters as they screamed over.*
"We're both tired. I vote we take a rest after this." *She sat down beside Alema'vrei and closed her eyes. Focusing herself, she calmed her mind the best she could. Reaching out with the force, she searched her surroundings. After several minutes of searching, she found something. The signature wasn't strong from this distance, but it was there.* "I found something. It's not much, but it's there."

*Ellie just shook her head at Alema'vrei's comment.*
"I can't tell anymore. I'm what too tired for this right now. Let's just leave it at that, we're both exhausted."
*They made their way towards the bunker. After about ten minutes of walking, Ellie came to a stop. There, a short distance of, was a heavy door built into the side of a mountain. Surrounding the door were several small barricades. Reaching out with the force, Ellie searched for signs of life, but found none. She narrowed her brow in question.*
"That's strange, I'm not sensing any large groups of life. So either they left, or Komad was lying."

*Komad gave a nod as he caught the datapad. He typed in several coordinates before handing it back.*
-Komad- "We will head there as soon as possible."
*Ellie took the datapad and check the coordinates. The bunker wasn't that far off, maybe a several minutes trek at best. She stepped back from the child and turned to Komad.*
"Thank you Komad. This may save a lot of lives." *She held up the datapd. The Twi'lek however waved a dismissive hand.*
-Komad- "It's the least we could do. Besides, we must help each other whenever possible during these times."
*Ellie gave a slight bow in return before shifting her gaze to Alema'vrei.*
"Ready?"

*The Twi'lek gave a bow of respect to Ellie and Alema'vrei.*
-Komad- "My name is Komad. This is my wife, Oola. We were heading towards safety when the attack began. Our convoy however, was ambushed. We managed to escape. I'm not sure about the others though." *Komad glanced across the wreckage from where he stood.* "I hope he brings order soon."
*Ellie listened to the Twi'lek as she moved over to help the child. She crouched down beside him and began to mend is arm. He seemed nervous at first, probably his first encounter with an offworlder. He quickly became less shy after Ellie began to help him. She then turned to Komad.*
"Where did you plan to go?"
-Komad- "There is an old bunker not far from here. A remnant of the Clone wars. It was supposed to be burried and forgotten about, instead it was turned into a warehouse do to its size. Several other families were heading there as well. But we were to late. These slavers had already taken a hold of it before we arrived. Our convoy was ambushed on arrival. Those slavers, they took a large group down there, we saw them."
*Ellie glanced over at Alema'vrei then back to Komad.*
"Where is this bunker?"
-Komad- "East of here, not far." *He pointed in the direction of the bunker. Ellie turned her attention back to the medic.*
"I know where we're going next."

*Ellie made her way towards the group. After several minutes of walking, the came upon a group of for Twi'leks. The group consisted of one male, two females and a small child. They were seeking refuge in a small building that looked as if it recently suffered damage. The male slowly stepped out of the building to meet Ellie and Alema'vrei.*
-Twi'lek- "Have you came to help? Is that thing gone?"
*Ellie stopped a short distance from him and gave a nod. She knew exactly what the thing was he spoke of.* "Yes we're here to help. And yes, the hostile fighter is gone. Are any of you injured?"
-Twi'lek- "Yes. Vyn has injured her leg." *He gestured to one of the female Twi'lek just visible through the doorway.* "And my son, Zhar, has several cuts on his arm. We are greatful you arrived when you did."
*Ellie turned to Alema'vrei.* "Looks like our works not done yet."

*Ellie extended her awareness out with the force, trying to catch anything living that might be nearby. She could sense three groups, each a different direction then each other.*
"There's a group east of here, a large one. Ten maybe more. I can sense two force users with them. Another search party more then likely. A small group to the south, three or four there. They seem shaken and afraid. More survivors most likely. A short distance beyond them. I sense great pain, someones badly injured. We should.." *She paused as she tried focusing in on the injured being. Without warning their force signature vanished. She let out a sigh and turned to the medic.* "Their gone." *Her gaze turned southward and she began walking.* "I guess we head towards the group then."

*A small pit formed in Ellie's stomach when Alema'vrei mentioned her sister. For a moment Ellie had had forgotten, but that was under the circumstances. Now she was forming a common bond with these peoples plight. She caught the lightsaber the medic tossed her.*
"You're right. Others do need help. For a short time longer. But I can't risk losing their trail while it's still fresh." *She then followed after the Twi'lek down the stairs.*

"No. I'm not okay." *Ellie spat out bitterly. She slowly stood up and regained her balance. Her gaze fell upon what was left of her lightsaber in her right hand.* "I wasn't fast enough to stop them."
*She could feel disappointment and anger welling up in her. Everything she tried to do as a Jedi lately always ended in failure or caused pain for another. She was sick of it. The sound of someone coughing caught her attention. She turned to see a badly injured slaver trying to sit up. Dropping the remains of her lightsaber, she stormed over to the man and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.*
"Where did they take them?" *It was blunt and straight to the point. The man looked up at her and gave a slight grin, causing blood to trickle from his mouth. Ellie could sense that the force was strong in him, but no where near the level of most Jedi or Sith. The slaver gave a forced laugh at the question.*
-Slaver- "Why? Do you plan on chasing them down little Jedi? Trying to be the hero? What good could you.."
*His rambling was caught short by a fist into the side of his jaw.* "Where are they!?"
*The man spit out some blood before turning his head back to Ellie. He seemed unfazed by her tactics.*
-Slaver- "Vengeance. Good. That's what we're looking for." *He paused for a moment, gazing into Ellie's eyes.* "There's a planet in the outrim. It's surface is covered by a vast fungal forest. A terrible place, a dark place. That's where you'll find them. That's where you'll meet your true purpose."
*Ellie thought for a moment on what this planet could be. Then it clicked, she had heard of it several times before.* "Felucia?"
-Slaver- "You are a quick one. But yes, Felucia. There you will find what you seek. You will join your sister, or die try.."
*His words were cut short as Ellie smashed him bodily into the ground. She felt his force signiture abrubtly end, signaling his demise. This was the second person she killed out of anger, but she felt not pity this time. She straitghened up and looked out over the horizon. Her thoughts raced for a moment before she spoke.* "Alema'vrei. I need to get to the ship my master and I crashed in. There's supplies in there I need to get." *She turned to face the medic. Her eyes filled with both determination and vengeance.* "I'm going hunting."

*Ellie was some parts worried, some parts relieved when Alema'vrei stayed. Her relief grew some at the sight of reinforcements storming onto the roof. Two more slavers dropped as the Sesk'vati emerged joined the fray. She turned to their leader as he brought a powerful swing down on her. Dodging to the side she avoided the attack, then struck at the mans side. Pivoting on the spot he blocked it before shoving forward with all his strength. Ellie stumbled back, but quickly regained her footing just in time to block another attack. She let the mans lightsaber slide past hers before bringing hers up in a full bodied swing. The man barely had time to dodge it as it came close to his head. She was about to strike again, when a loud whine and a low rumble shook the platform. The sound was familiar to her, the freighter was preparing to take off. Panic filled her as she watched the slavers begin to back up towards the boarding ramp. She backed up, putting distance between her and their leader. Quickly her eyes scanned the platform, but she could not find her twin. During the confrontation she had lost track of her.*
*It was then that she spotted a slaver carrying her up the ramp, followed by another slaver shoving several Twi'leks after them. Her attention fell on their leader, the man gave a smirk and slowly backed up towards the boarding ramp.*
-Slaver leader- "You have spirit. I like that. Maybe another time child. For I know we'll meet again."
*He stepped onto the boarding ramp just as the ship began to lift slowly off the roof. Ellie let out a yell of anger and charged the man. She jumped up onto the edge of the boarding ramp and swung a full powered strike at the man. What happened next caught her off guard. Her strike his blade, the next swing air, then. A loud crack like a blaster shot resounded from her lightsaber. Things seemed to move in slow motion as she watched her lightsaber get cut in half, the blue blade instantly fazed out as parts scattered from the remains of her hilt. A boot greeted her stomach, tossing her from the boarding ramp, then the hangar floor. She hit the ground with a heavy thud, her breath vacated her lungs and her body wracked with pain. She laid there on the amongst the dead and injured, watching the freighter sprint off towards orbit. As she lay there, she felt as if the weight of the galaxy was crushing in on her.*
"...Kaiya."

*Alema'vreis surprise attack caught several slavers off guard, everyone except their leader. His lightsaber was in his hand instantly, blocking the bolst harmlesly away. Others were not so lucky, several slavers dropped before they could defened themselves. Within seconds, the sound of half a dozen or more lightsabers could be heard coming to life. Their leader turned towards the medic. This was the chance Ellie was waiting for, sprinting forward, she struck at the man with her lightsaber. He blocked and perried, the fight was on. Meanwhile, several of the slavers advanced on Alema'vrei, batting blaster bolts to the side. Half turning to the Twi'lek, Ellie yelled.*
"Alema'vrei! Go! go now. I'll slow him down!"

*Ellie also heard the transport approach. She gave a nod to the medic and slowly moved up the stair well. Scanning the surrounding area, she quickly darted behind a crate. If all went well, then they would be able to ambush the slavers from both sides and catch them off guard. As she ducked behind the crate, she couldn't help but feel as if something was very wrong. She peered over the crate and instantly felt a pit form in her stomach. Standing close to her sister, yelling orders at the guards, was a man who looked like an older stockier version of Gesh. She crouched back down and turned to Alema'vrei.*
"Their leader looks like Gesh. The man who killed my Master. Maybe he's related to Gesh or something." *She peered over the crate again. The man had his back to her. There, on his waist, was a lightsaber that looked like her sisters. Closing her eyes, she reached out with the force to grab the lightsaber. Instead something grabbed her around the throat with the force and lifted her off the ground. Ellie choked for air and began to panic, she tried to push whatever had grabbed her away with the force. The invisible force gave some, allowing her some air, but she could not shake it. Her ears were greeted by a cold voice.*
-Slaver- "Curious. I was told a Mandalorian Jedi had killed my brother, and here I thought I captured her. But look at what the force has delivered me. A second Jedi, also a Mandalorian, and whats more so, a twin." *The pressure around Ellie's throat ceased and she dropped to the ground. The man then turned to face her.* "I find it surprising that a Mandalorian would even become a Jedi, let alone two. Then again this opportunity doesn't present itself very often. So I will take full advantage of every force user delivered to me. You and your sister a great opportunity indeed."
*It was then that Ellie glanced at the slavers. Every last one of them had lightsabers. It was a trap, and she had sprung it.*

*Ellie closed in on the building, the jog there seemed to take forever in her mind. As she grew close, so did the anticipation of finding her sister, but something caused her to slow her stride. A sense of unease began to build up within her, there was something there, and it felt like it was waiting for her. She turned to face Alema'vrei.*
"Somethings not right. There's..something else here. I can't explain it." *She turned towards the building. High above her, she could feel other life forms caught in a tempest of emotion. The building itself looked like the remains of a landing pad, one that had been there for years. Slowly she began to make her way up a flight of stairs connected to the dilapidated building. As she reached the last floor before the roof, she crouched low. The tail of a freighter was now visibly sticking out over the side of the building, along with the sound of voices drifting over the side. Keeping low she crept up the stairs until she could see over the edge of the rood. There she saw an old freighter stationed on the roof, it was surrounded by many crates, and living beings. Most of the beings were sitting on the ground, their hands shackled behind their back. Around them stood a dozen or so armed guards, oddly of which seemed lightly armed. Ellie suddenly realized what was going on, these people were being taken as slaves. She scanned the area until her eyes found what they were looking for. Sitting up against a crate was the still form of her twin. Fighting back the urge to run out there and save her sister, Ellie ducked down and turned to the medic.*
"Slavers. Their loading people up in that freighter. There's more then the two of us can take."
