*Ellie closed her eyes and let out a slow breath. She reached out with the force, extending the circle of her sense slowly to catch and sign of life. Then something strange struck her senses, as if a small group of force users had gathered in one spot surrounded by non-force users. This caught Ellie's attention. Focusing on the spot, she began to try and feel each individual. She could feel both fear and pain amongst them, survivors perhaps, but what scared them so much. As she searched the group she found a force signature that almost matched her own perfectly, her twin. She was so surprised that she almost broke concentration. Focusing on her sister, she tried to make contact through the force but couldn't get a response. This alarmed Ellie. Without warning she felt something dark, something evil, begin to probe her force signature. Ellie quickly broke the connection and turned to Alema'vrei.*
"I can sense beings over in that direction." *She pointed towards a low building with a flat roof in the distance.* "One of them is my sister, I can feel her there. But..there's something else. Something dark." *She turned in the direction of the building and began to jog in that direction. That was where she was going to go, and no one was going to tell her otherwise.*

*Ellie felt guilt building up as the transport carried Mazer'dura away. She turned to Alema'vrei and gave a nod.*
"Okay."

With the great speed of the fighter, Talon was outmatched. When the fighter ran, despite the desire for vengance, the squadron leader knew his duty, and turned them back toward the city. For all he knew, there were more of those things out there. Talon 8, on the other hand, began reciting a childhood prayer to Kika'lekki as he impacted the surface of the ground, just inside the Brightlands. Meanwhile...Alema'vrei, with all her training, knew that there was little to be done outside of a hospital. She removed a syringe and plunged it into his thick neck. He's going into shock. Do whatever you can to keep him calm. *Ellie gave a nod. Calm, she could do that, every Jedi was trained to do that. Closing her eyes, she careful held the injured Twi'leks hand. Clearing her mind she began to use the force to pour calm into Mazer. This, she hoped, would calm him enough to keep his injuries at a minimum.*

*Ellie watched the fighter roar off into the distance. Her whole body shook and she almost dropped to her knees. What was she thinking, she thought. It was then that she turned and saw what happened to Mazer'dura. Her stomach dropped as she sprinted towards the injured Twi'lek.*
"No, no, no."
*She dropped to her knees next to Alema'vrei. Ellie wasn't a medic, nor was she good with any Jedi healing techniques, she felt helpless, she felt as if this was all her fault. She turned to Alema'vrei.*
"What do I do?"

*Ellies stomach knotted as she watched the fighter turn in their direction. She knew what was coming next even without the aid of the force.*
"Get down!"
*She yelled the words as she dived over the side of the speeder to take refuge behind the rock pile. The rounds from the fighter torn into the speeder and the rock pile behind which sh took cover. Anger built up inside Ellie, just as it had when she killed the pirates in the tunnels. The second the rounds stopped she was on her feet, her gaze of anger landed on the fighter and its pilot. Reaching out with the force, and most of her remaining energy, she grabbed the fighter. Taking a deeper stance for balance, she zeroed in on the fighters flight controls and began to pull. With any luck she could disable the fighter, or worse.*

*Ellie sprinted over and began to help remove the rubble the best she could. Pulling off the last piece she turned to Mazer'dur, she was about to speak when she felt a slight tug of pain in the force. She turned her eyes skyward and saw both the fighters taken out of commission. Her eyes widened in surprise, that Bes'uliik was tearing through those fighters. Without taking her eyes off the fighter she spoke.*
"We need to move! We need to move now!"

*Ellie kept her eyes fixed on the Mandalorian fighter.*
"It's a Bes'uliik. A Mandalorian starfighter, and bad news for us." *She turned her attention back to the medic.* "If we want to save that pilot, then we have to move now before it spots us."

Alema'vrei- You did. Look! She pointed into the sky, where a man in Mandalorian armor was riding a monsterous beast of a machine in combat. It was engaged by a pair of the Twi'lek's unique take on the X-ball "ugly" known as the Deathseed.-Meanwhile...The dazed pilot planetside dove for the ground with the incoming fire, and did not get back up. The two pursuit fighters peeled back out of laser range when fire hit their shields. Instead, each began to attempt to get missile lock. *Ellie watched the war droid roar overehead followed by two fighters. Her breath caught in her throat, Madnalorians. Seeing her people here was one of the last things she wanted to see. She turned to Alema'vrei.*
"We need to get that pilot, and ourselves, out of here now."

*Hate boiled inside Ellie at the mention of slavers. Guilt was added to this feeling when Alema'vrei mentioned that Humans were more then likely responsible. She avoided making eye contact with the medic, instead she stared in the direction of the fight.*
"Lets go."
*Ellie lead the small group towards the spot where she felt the conflict coming from. She came to stop on a small mound of what use to be a building and looked around. They were close, close enough that they should see fighting. However, where there was supposed to be fight, she could only see smoke rising from a downed fighter in the distance. Her brow furrowed in confusion.*
"This isn't right. I know I felt fighting coming from this area."
*A pit formed in her stomach as a thought crossed her mind. Did her captivity with the slavers affect her force sensitivity, was she loosing it all together?*

*Ellie gave a shrug and began to head downstairs, as far as she was concerned, this was no longer her problem. She stepped outside and extended herself into the force, searching for the next area.*
"Does anybody know exactly who did this and why? Their tactics seem pretty reckless."
*It was then she felt a sharp tug in the force. A build up of anger unleashed upon another living being or beings. Ellie knew this feeling, there was fighting near by.*
"Uhh..I feel fighting nearby." *She turned to Alema'vrei.* "I think that's where we need to head next."

*The female Twi'lek quickly headed for the door, not wanting to be stunned herself. Ellie watched the Twi'lek dart by before turning back to Alema'vrei and raising an eyebrow in question.*
"Subtle. You want me to find the next spot, or are we waiting for a transport to pick them up?" *As she spoke, she began to reach out with the force. She was searching not only for injured civilians, but also any signs of her sister or her master. A slight frown appeared on her face when she still couldn't find her right away. Normally the force bond between her and her twin was strong enough to be felt relatively quickly, no matter how far the distance was.*

*Ellie raced up after Mazer'dura to the floor above. She came to a stop beside him and quickly caught sight of the family inside. Her eyes narrowed slightly in agitation when she realized that the man wouldn't let his family leave even with the immediate threat of danger. The man was now yelling at them in Ryl, the vast majority of which Ellie didn't understand, she could feel them through the force though and he didn't want them there, especially a Mandalorian.*
"Di'kut (idiot)." *Ellie spoke to herself quite loudly in Mando'a before turning to Mazer'dura.* "What do we do with this one. He seems pretty intent on staying, and forcing him out may cause more panic then good."

Alema'vrei made a thoughtful face. I don't have time to teach you. We're in the city, so everyone should know Basic. In the smaller villages it may be different. Come on. Mazer'dura had already reached the house and stepped in, calling out to the people inside. *Ellie bit her lower lip and followed Alema'vrei into the building, things seemed to be getting more challenging by the minute. She let out a slow breath and reached out into the surrounding area with the force, it didn't take much for her to locate signs of life directly above them.*
"Their above us, second floor." *She moved forward to a nearby stairs case and called up it. The sound of movement could be heard from above, but it seemed to be moving away from the stairwell. She turned and looked at Alema'vrei. "Maybe their just nervous, or unsure of our intent?"

*Ellie lowered her lightsaber and turned to Alema'vrei, her mind graspping what she just said.*
"What?..Yeah, we should get them out of here just in case." *She felt a small amount of guilt building up in her. Why did she even consider leaving someone behind? Shaking the thought from her mind, she gave her full attention to the medic.* "I really can't speak any Ryl actually."

Crom'nen heard the transmission and was angry, but in the tunnels it was difficult to reply. Instead, he hooked his datapad to his comlink and patched into a relay to boost the signal. Then, he accessed one of the tunnel grid computers and activated a secure code that he had installed years ago just in case he needed to activate it. This was just such a time. He set the terminal to access the communication grid. Given enough time and enough tranmissions, the computer should be able to track the source. Attention Emerald Blades, this is Senator Crom'nen of Ryloth. You are ordered to stand down. You may not have noticed, but the city is under martial law. We are under attack. Your authority is not recognized here. Remain indoors or your intentions may be seen as hostile. Our soldiers are well trained, but may take matters into their own hands.Meanwhile...Alema'vrei shook her head. The Sesk'nasbilai are all over the city. You can probably sense them. We don't have to cover the whole city. She pointed to the next collapsed building. Is there anyone in there? *Ellie turned to the building in question and closed her eyes. Once again she sank into the force and sought for signs of life. After several seconds she could sense life, four force signatures were present within the building.*
"I can sense for life forms. They don't appear to be in trouble, just shaken. I don't think their badly injured, if they are then it's more then likely not life threatening."
*She opened her eyes and turned to Alema'vrei.*
"Should we move on?"
*The question barely made it out of her mouth when she felt a cold chill run down her spine as wordless voices whispering dark things ran through her head. Warning signals ran through her mind of impending danger from behind. Instinctively Ellie spun around and brought her lightsaber into a defensive position. To her surprise, there was nothing there, only search teams and the injured making their way through the chaos. She lowered her lightsaber slightly as her eyes scanned the the area. Something was far from right, she didn't know what but she could feel it.*

The truck pulled up just as the medic pinned a piece of paper to the girl, on which she had written medical diagnoses. Mazer'dura carried the girl into the truck, placed her down, and retrieved his shirt as the medic inside placed a sterile blanket on her. Then the truck lurched off to get the next victim so that Crom'nen's six would be reached.-Alema'vrei- I was "normal." My sister was beautiful, charming, athletic, young. She's everything desirable in the sex trade. So she was taken. She just wanted to be normal. Mazer'dura wanted to be normal, but he was strong, so he was taken to work in mines. Some of my people hold to the tradition where the poor will sell their oldest child just to afford food for the younger. Their own parents sell them. They don't want to be poor, just normal. Extraordinary people want to be normal. Normal people want to be extraordinary. But we are born. We don't have a choice when or how. Look at Crom'nen. He was a prodigy, a Sesk'bumat like few others. But he wasn't content with extraordinary. He sought true greatness. He was working on Coruscant by sixteen. He led missions for the Republic, working with soldiers, Jedi, pirates, Sith, Mandalorians, and whoever else it took to get the job done. On such missions, he amassed considerable wealth, but he also encountered slaves up close and personal for the first time. He spent everything he had to purchase every Twi'lek slave he could and to hunt those who sought to take more. He used his influence to change our traditions and outlaw the slave trade. He is a liberator to our people, personally so to thousands like Mazer'dura there. The question isn't if you're normal, Lia'ry. You aren't. The question is, what will you do with it? Speaking of which, where to next? *Ellie opened her mouth to speak, instead she let out a sigh and turned towards the city.*
"We move on."
*She closed her eyes and sank into the force. Fear, panic, and pain were the emotions that bombarded her through the force. She tried to focus, but found it hard to lock onto any nearby source of life. Letting out a slow breath, she tried focusing harder but was having a hard time finding peace in her mind. Her brow narrowed in frustration as she opened her eyes.*
"There's to much noise and emotion, it's hard to focus on just one thing. Even trying to pick out one emotion is hard."

*Ellie didn't know what to tell Mazer'dura, she wanted to say that everything would be okay. Honestly, she herself wondered if everything would be okay. She turned back to the medic and gave a nod.*
"I will be fine. Right now though, there are others in more need of medical attention then I. You should see to them first before you worry about my health."
*She wasn't sure if Alema'vrei was talking about her physical health or her mental state. Instead she walked over to the medic and knelt beside her and the child.*
"My 'gift' some days feels more like a curse. I'm Mandalorian, Mandalorians naturally hold a grudge against force users. I'm also a Jedi, Jedi have slight dislike for my people, given their track record it's not hard to blame them. Combine the two and what do you get?" *She looked the Twi'lek in the eyes.* "I can't go home. My people dislike me just for existing. Even other Jedi show slight unease and sometimes distrust when they find out my heritage." *She looked away from Alema'vrei and sat back on her heels.* "When I say I wish to be normal. I mean, even for one day, I wish my people didn't hold a grudge against me for just being born. Being able to follow in my parents footsteps, have friends who didn't judge me for what I can do. I wish I didn't have to flee my home as a child just for being different."

"That's okay." *The smile faded from her face and a looking of sad longing replaced it.* "Sometimes I wish I wasn't. Just..be normal for a day, you know."
*She turned her attention back to the hole from which she felt the force signature. Calmly she waited to see what Mazer'dura found anything yet.*

*Ellie felt slight disapointment when there was nothing beneath the slab. She knew there was something there though, buried beneath the rubble. Turning to Alema'vrei, she handed her the activated lightsaber.*
"No time. Now hold this and stay close."
*Closing her eyes, she reached out with the force and grabbed the beam. Focusing all her effort, she imagined the beam lifting. With a low groan the beam began to slowly liftoff the ground and move away from the spot. Shifting her footing, she willed the beam to push away from the area. Once a safe distance she broke the connection causing the piece of steel to crash to the ground. Opening her eyes she turned back to Alema'vrei and extended her hand.*
"Lightsaber please."
