First off I wish to apologize for the wait. Much of the GBA staff was predisposed for a while. However better late than never right?
Also before I judge I want to say very nice reference in the beginning excellent movie.
Now this was one heck of a duel to read. I did have a little trouble reading it (outside sources) however once I did finish (and the couple in the other room) it was a blast to read.
Both of you had excellent ideas and everything was well thought out. You both fed off of the other very well, but there can only be one winner here. For a while I was torn this was a good read then one of you did something unexpected that won it for you.
Alkor. The way you described the use of shatterpoint was amazing, comparable to only one other I have read and that one was GMed. This one however was not and it was excellently done.
Jud my only concern was the lightsabers in the tree. Not a huge thing but I was unsure if you were constantly being dragged down or just staying in spot. There are some naturally resistant materials out there to lightsabers including a tree but hey. Didn't take away from the story, possibly improved it and I only mention it because of my confusion.
So in the end Alkor you won this duel. Congrats to both, and I look forward to reading your duels in the future.

The grenade went off dousing Xeonon in the Ionized particles and he looses the last chances he had of avenging his death. The last remaining eye shuts down as does the hand. As it drops it falls at such an angle that the trigger is squeezed one last time by the impact. The chances of it hating anything would be astronomical but if it did do any damage it would be at shin height. Xeonon was finished.
His whole body hurt as sores all over weeper out blood. His body convulsing as it feebly tried to get oxygen. More so even his insides hurt, the EMP had done internal damage as well. His heart and lungs had also been under the aid of cybernetics. Although theystill worked by some fluke it was intermitant and painful. His heart beat irregularly, the lungs which were already burning seared. From his mouth blood started to dribble down his cheek as the fluid that kept him alive left so did he fade from thought and pain. He passed out to enter the void unknowingly. Peacefully. So ends the life of Xeonon Solomon.

So I am sending out a PM to anyone still active in the group. The IR may be dead (possible to explain IC) but if anyone is still kicking I will get us something to do.

As his opponent hit the other wall he was impressed with himself. Without meaning to Xeonon had sent him into a wall and he knew why. The ring on his cybernetic appendage. With it he was feeling not only his own force in it's purest form without taint from good or evil but on it's own was a darkness. A darkness within all men that when released made them powerful and for the first time in his life Xeonon was tempted to dive into it, accept the power and use it to crush his enemy. He couldn't though, he had been trained to will for that. For now he would remain as the knight in shining armour.
When Reb stood he was actually surprised that he was hurt every other Sith he had fought was tough as nails. Was everything he said earlier just a ruse? A way to try and undermine Xeonons resolve? When he limped forward the Imperial Knight was on his guard and it was because of this that he did not die. For when he seemed to disappear in a flash. Unless this was a illusion then it only left one thing, force speed.
Not being skilled in the force the Master let the force flow through him, direct him and move his arms like a puppet on strings. As strange as it was Xeonons blade hand went down to intercept the red blade while his shield went and forward slightly. The intention was to presumably hit his Sithly counterpart square in the jaw with a metallic shield. Of course this wasn't going to happen nor the block as he jumped up. Instead when he jumped into the air Xeonon understood the ruse. He was impressed in such a thing leave it to a Sith to feign injury to get a better chance to kill you.
Of course now Xeonons shield followed the flying Sith and felt one swing hit center of the shield, the second hitting the right edge of the shield sending molten Ultrachrome onto the ground beside Xeonon. The remnant symbol now was blackened from the heat that the Phrick had deflected. As he traced the man overhead Xeonons blade came around overtop and as Xeonon finished pivoting a white slash of JUSTICE was going to descend from the left of Rebelliouses cheek and down. A smile on Xeonons face could be seen.

As Xeonon walked Bothans still tried to avoid him. Although he had left from his ship word had spread like wildfire that a man dressed in armour was on their peaceful planet. Of course they could not stay away from him for long as there was a slight funneling where the doors were. It was a busy day, noonish and everyone was ready to get back to where they were going. For a moment Xeonon wondered what these Bothans did for a living. Everyone knew they were good spies during wartime but was it really war? Sure one group had declared a holy crusade on another but would the Bothans really betray their trusted Jedi?
With this though the Imperial Knight went on edge, and briefly felt like he was being watched. Of course it just came from his train of thought nothing else, still would it really hurt to slaughter the dog men in here. Then he realized what he was thinking. Killing innocents just on a whim, and he knew where the thought was coming from. Dragus's ring on his right hand. The one bit of flash he had on right now was actually an heirloom to a deranged member of the NOE. No a "dead" member of the crippled faction. The Sith had given it to him and since then these evil thoughts had entered his head, poisoning his mind. What was worse was that he couldn't be parted from it. When he was he flet sickly and weak.
Finally making it to the door he looked at a Bothans gaurd in the eyes. The first one to meet his gaze since landing and smiled. The furry alien then looked to the ground again whatever nerve he had was gone. This was the life in a galaxy that hated the Empire. Regardless of which empire they were always associated with Palpatines. What people failed to understand was that this was closer to the Fels. "Victory through Peace" as the saying went. Reaching for the metal rod he was about to push out when a Nothan started running towards him.

As Xeonon landed he had turned to project the yell towards the Sith. That's when it happened, he lost his voice. Not just that but he lost all feeling in his neck. Then the pain started, this made the seared flesh seem like child's play. At least then he could express his pain through yelling, now he was as silent as a dead man. Which he was soon to be. His hearing was gone, but he could still see if only just. The force scream had damaged the insides of his right eye now and much like when the T-101 was restarting it was grainy, static and would cut out for half a second.
So this is the way the world ends, not with a bang or even a wimper just silence. Of course he was still alive, for at least 4 minutes more. Less than half of that until he passes out then a coma and finally death. His lightsaber lay beside him but he did not go for it. Instead he brought his hand up and over his chest to wear his .48 caliber pistol was. Using everything the mechanic hand had for speed he ripped the pistol free and aimed it and his opponent. If this is to be my tomb then so let it be yours as well. As he spoke these words telepathically Xeonon aimed for the center of mass and began to unload the bullets.
Now had his mortal hand been firing the kick back would have sent all but one of the bullets wide. As this was not all were more or less aimed towards the chest in a steady motion. The depleted barridium rounds were designed to punch through heavy armour without much problem. The only question was had his opponent counted him out of the game or was he still on his gaurd. Of course this was all in vain he was still going to die down here. There was no chance of escape. Only vengeance. As his finger pulled the trigger it's final time the arm went limp and fell ontop of Xeonon the gun still in his hand. He had passed out from lack of air. He had died as he lived, fighting.

Finnick indeed went off to the male dorms, but before going he had looked behind him towards the women. Can't stop a guy from thinking after all. Of course this was a mission so there would be no lamenting women. Today. As he entered and rifled through the clothes in disgust he finally found something he liked. A tanned Bantha hide leather jacket. On the back was the symbol for this pirate group dominating the back. Throwing this over his shoulders he kept the other clothes on, after all they are armour.
Walking out he joined the others as they prepared, he gave himself a once over to make sure his weapons were all in place. Nodding his red hair bounced a little but stayed in place. let's do this.

High above the city a small Imperial craft made it's way towards the spaceport. As it soared overhead many Bothans and travelers looked to the sky in disbelief. Many still held resentments towards the Empire for what they had done over a century ago and were unhappy that a pro Imperial was on the planet. What angered them more was the fact that it was not following established fly paths which sent everyone on edge. Of course the pilot did not know, nor did he care for he was still on the high you can only get while in combat.
Setting the ship down in the busy spaceport many inhabitants shied away from the spacecraft. Making it stand out even more. With a push of a button the ramp descended with a hiss as the hydraulics dissipated into a steam somehow. Walking down the ramp was not some evil Imperial warlord, simply a warrior who fought to protect what was his. As he walked through the steam his figure was revealed. Most people would first see the mans face. In the past it was nothing but scars, now after a duel nearly half of the right side was replaced with metal which shone brilliantly. His curly black hair was pushed back with grey streaks all through it. Not from age but from stress both physically and mentally. The rest of his body was more or less Incased in a brilliant red suit of armour.
To the uncultured swine out there, Xeonon was not just an Imperial Knight but the master of the whole order. Seldom he left his domain of the Deep Core unless something was really off. In this case it had been the mining outfit some kilometers away from town. He owned the company, and reports had it that someone had come and try to take over the outpost. So he had went there to deal with the problem, and dealt with it he had. The smell of burned flesh could still be smelt if one inhaled deep enough. After such an engagement it was always nice to sit back and enjoy the victory and that was his current task. Find a bar, get drunk and maybe bang a couple of alien dancers. As such he was not equipped as he usually was. Only having his lightsaber on his right thigh, and two pistols on his chest he walked off towards the city.

God dammit guys when I set this up I thought this was going to be a real fight. Not a bitchfest. Still, early on in the duel I had a few good laughs bashing eachothers respective councils- or lack thereof. The video was well yeah...
I am going to award this as I tie because it was a silly fight. If you guys really honestly want a true judgement feel free to PM and I will post a real winner and even throw in the why for free.

I'm not sure if they have been said yet but I bought two books down in Guelph that were good. Fall of Five, 4th book in a series written by a guy named Pittacus Lore (James Frey). Pretty much an alien race commuted genocide and killed all but 20 members of another alien race. They fled to earth. Half of them are pretty much super heros (kids) and the other half trainers. They have to survive until their super powers begin while being hunted by the bad guys.
The other book was The Gunslinger. Stephen King wrote it. Mix of fantasy, Sci Fi, Western and his own twisted mind. Follows a nameless hero as he hunts down a man in black.

The Imperial Knight had no way of knowing that the force was going to be used on his shield, there was no visible sign (I think) and even if he had there was no way around it. Metal clanged on metal as the tip of his shield smashed his arm hard enough to bruise him through the metal. Using all of his cybernetic strength he forced the shield against the grip, the strength of it hopefully startling his opponent and "ripping" it ffree of his teleketic grasp. Then he lowered his body and head so that he looked like a foot ball player running with a shield. His head was protected Save for his nose.
The smell of burnt flesh wafted through the area. Despite the pain he smiled, the edges of the shield were purified cortosis, crafted by both Xeonon and the Master Armourer it was arguably one of the best Cortosis shields in the galaxy, finer than anything other Knights had. Anyways the blade after sizzling away the flesh on the tip of the nose it would melt through the thin layer protecting it and hopefully shut off the blade. If it did well depending on the craftmanship of the blade it would be out of commission for several seconds to seven minutes.
All of this happening in the ever shrinking distance between them, Xeonon wouldn't have enough time to stop so he sped up, one step than another before he would smash headlong into Ishmael. If this was to happen then the moment before touching Xeonon would swing his shield upwards trying to smash it against his opponent

Gah all this technical talk will be the death of me, quite literally it could be the death of me. As his shield was pinned to his chest Xeonon marveled at the mans nerve. However it would take more than nerves to stop Xeonon, most people would have been burdened by the heavy armour but Xeonon was a cyborg. He boasted roughly the strength of three men, all of which meant nill right now. He had me dead to rights, obviously getting inside his opponents guard was out of the option he was to skilled for such a simple thing.
I can hear the pike getting closer when I spring forward using my built up momentum I leap onto my right side. Unfortunately I was unable to escape the full rath of the plasma blade, between ripping the shield free of the grip and my opponents speed he manages to score a nice rent down my back. Once again I thank the creator of the armour Imperial Knights use for their forethought in using lightsaber resistant materials. The armour on his back became blackened as the Phrick absorbed the stab, unfortunately the entity of the armour was not made of this light weight material.
Despite the filaments of Phrick protecting his vital organs the Durasteel that was also in the armour melted burning the skin from the neck down to his lower back. As predicted earlier Xeonon let this pain fuel his power. In that moment he fed on the pain, the hopelessness of the situation and fear that he may die. With all these negative emotions in mind Xeonon yelled at the top of his lungs AAHHHHHHHHHHHH A force scream would be powerful enough in the open but in this enclosed space with the help of the Dragite crystal the scream could cause some serious damage both physically and mentally. All around him his voice reverberated off the walls splintering the ground and walls weakening the stone around the duo, had the chains not been there (walls and roof) there is a good chance that both of the would have been crushed.
Of course part of the Imperial Knight was still fighting and as such he tumbed the blade off before rolling to the ground and back to his feet.
What is a god to a godless man.

As the barriers and bubbles were wrapped around him Xeonon who was still just mortal decided to say the hell with it and let the Whill get his way. Burning up like a sir he fixed his steely gaze on Erevis. Bastard.

If Xeonon could have heard the inner monologue he would have agreed, there was no way to attack without facing serious injury and probably death. He chopped it up to his missing eye playing tricks on him. For some reason he was only now paying real attention to the odd saber pike (all it looks like now unless I am wrong). It would be a simple thing to change the slash to a block and that's exactly what happened. Catching the red blade with his silver one he could feel the sparks that were sent off. Something was off with the sound though, the way it sounded and felt was similar to that of a compressed synth-crystal. An unstable blade, had his blade been of lower quality or a natural crystal it would have been shut down.
Thankfully his major crystal, the one that gave his blade the white sheen was also a crystal created by man. All Imperial Knights blades were fashioned as such in a bid to show the galaxy that each knight was nothing. They were weak on their own but together as a unit they were strong. Xeonon however had personalized his blade with the Mestare crystal. Rank does have it's perks after all. Still he had to be careful how hard he pressed on the blades. No lickings, no hard hits because honestly losing his blade would suck.
So pushing the blade of his opponent up so that the tip went towards the sky Xeonon rolled on his feet. His aim was to twirl around to His opponents side and smash him with the front of his shield. It may be a defensive weapon for the most part but being hit by a large piece of metal is bould to hurt the shut out of you. Even if not successful in the bid he was going to follow through with a slash to his opponents left side. Now he was aware of the risks he ran with this plan. He was opening up his own left side to attack briefly and as such he would end this by facing his opponent again.
It was in those moments he knew the duel was coming to it's climax. Xeonon was already aware only one person would be coming out of this cave alive. With each passing moment his chances were becoming slimmer, but so were the Siths. The familiar prickling on the back of his naleck was back, warning him that something was in motion something that was a danger to him. What it was he did not know, he did not care because right now his life was always in danger; one wrong step could end him. So for now he ignored it but was just as alert as ever. He let the force flow through him, direct his movements. His body a small pebble in a rushing river being tossed this way and that, only this was what he wanted. He spoke again trying to get inside his opponents head. Why people were silent in a fight he would never know. This was after all just a dance and everyone talks to their partner while dancing. Why is it that you have come here Sith? Was it to gain some mundane power? Something to help you achieve a higher plane of existence? What! News flash friend power does not bring victory! It brings over confidence. It brings... Death. Maybe this fella would slow down if I tried to pick apart the damn mantra of the Sith.

Walking out of the building Xeonon looked around, his body tense. If there was indeed someone in town then they could be watching them without anyone knowing. As he looked around the buildings closest to him he imagined where he would watch someone. Somewhere high, so that it had a commanding view of the area, it had to have enough cover that they could hide without being spotted and it needed to be easy to move from. In the past despite being an Imperial Knight Xeonon trained in the ways of the Inquisitorus. In the past Jedi Hunters, now merely used to track down enemies of the state he still occasionally used his skills for good.
That's when he saw the large building towering over the others. In a shanty town such as this that wasn't saying much but it doesn't matter. The church. Whichever religion it was Xeonon did not care, he personally found the idea of a higher being preposterous. Maybe a hyper advanced civilization had transcended past the need for bodies. Maybe that's what happened to the Celestials. It mattered not though because at this moment there was not time for musings. we need to get to that church. Keep an eye on things, and make sure no darksiders show up unannounced.

Had Xeonon not just watched an episode of Legend Breakers on Discovery he would have tried to use his gun to shoot Lapay. However at 25 meters it would be tough, especially considering this guy was a dangerous force user. To cover that distance a highly trained person would need roughly 2.5 seconds at full sprint. So three seconds at best to react.
Not knowing about the push Xeonon reached out and grabbed hold of his own lightsaber while running to meet Lapay. However he was not expecting the force to hit him. It did, and for a moment he was surprised before he slid back to the edge of the crevase behind him. A meter away, helad he not run to meet his opponent he would now be dead, or at least in a hole which was as good as dead. So now he was armed and ready to fight, maybe this one would show HONOUR and fight with his blade unlike many others he had come across.
Walking forward again Xeonon held his shield loosely on his left ready to react with it while with his right held a lightsaber. Now there was something different about this lightsaber, despite matching the red light with it's pale white the blade itself was curved. Something of an oddity the crystal used gave it that shape. One he was within striking distance of Lapay he would try a simple slash for his opponents left forearm. He doubted this would work after all they had only just begun. Each was testing his opponent. Finding their strengths, searching for a weakness.

Typical Whill. First they take away your power, then send away your friends and claim you are cheating.
As the ambient energy of the world dropped to nill Xeonon idly wondered if it was farenhiet or Celsius. Whichever it was would mean it was damn hot still, or cold as tits. Either way it mattered not, for he was not out of tricks yet. The heat may be gone, the world a lifeless husk but it was still matter.
Now everything down on an atomic level was moving, fast, slowly I don't know. Dammit I am a duelist not a Scientist! Either way Xeonon put his hands onto the world and before his eyes and the eyes of a Whill the planet began to disappear. Now the average sized person can create enough energy to destroy half a planet, what would happen to a Whill if a planet was absorbed? I guess we will find out.
In an instant the planet was gone, everything was gone but the void of space and the two figures. How Xeonon had not gone boom yet was anyone's guess but that was to come. His body crackled, a yellow glow surrounded him as well as the occasional space lightning. Erevis, here we are at the end of it all. You were to much a coward to face me Mano et Mano. The galaxy will hear of this. how was he talking in space? Fuck physics thats why
In that instant he was gone and in his place was enough energy to destroy the galaxy, the universe and maybe just maybe enough to destroy a Whill. Xeonon had been wrong this wasn't the end. It was the beginning, a new big bang.
