And the new episode airs. Unfortunately, the tremendous cost of switching things around on the networks and the sudden new time slot catches Clarkson, Hammon, and Captain Slow completely off-guard in a truly horrific fashion. The ratings slowly decline over time, and the show is cancelled shortly after the suits realize they'll never recover from the ham-fisted idea of shunting Top Gear forward. Clarkson falls into depression, Hammond tries to market himself out and fails, and Captain Slow putters around the highways of Britain at a snail's pace in protest. The Stig is never seen or heard from again.
I wish I had Superman's powerset.
