"Not quite, Master Rawkill..." Came an assuaging voice from the entrance.
Nisk stood at the precipice of the Council chamber and bowed respectfully to all in attendance. Unlike most everyday the Lorrdian looked put-together. His hair was washed and slicked back into a neat top-knot, his face was cleanly shaven, and his tattered cloak had been replaced with a new tunic and robes. He looked like a new man, well, for those that actually knew him.
"Pardon my intrusion, Masters and guest (Vordaan). But it has been a long time since I knocked on a door." Nisk admitted with a warming smile as he enteres the chamber. In his line of "work" there was little room for pleasantries or tact, and that sometimes got him into more trouble than not; when acclimating back to Order life. Being a proper Jedi was hard, it was one of the reasons he'd jumped at the Sentinels in his youth. They weren't the pinnacles of the Order, they really didn't have to be - let the Knights have their pomp, bravado, and limelight.
The real work's done by the ones willing to get dirty... Nisk thought to himself with a nod. It wasn't that he didn't respect his more eloquent peers, he did, and the Order had been his family since he could remember. It was more of an observation than a an accusation, but he knew it to be true. Truth is all in what we see it; he reminded himself, clearing his mind as not to draw the attention of the Masters of The Order before him.
"I bring news that I feel warranted me personally presenting it to the Council, Masters." Nisk voiced seriously. He truly did have some incredible news to report, the first lead he'd found since the Mandalorian genocide ended.

Taking a cue from the Ewok Master Jedi's comment that the meeting was at an end, with everything formally sorted out, and the arrival of the Jedi Knight, Vordaan took a step back, before the three Th'tremsi gave a bow to the Jedi Masters that were seated, as was customary Remain vigilant... And with that, Nahallus lead Vordaan and Aellemere out of the council chambers, rejoining back up with the rest of their group just outside the doors, before Vordaan retrieved his mace from Lucgard. The group resumed their former formation before they made their way down through the temple's structure, heading for the Main Entrance Walk

May the Force be with you, High Exarch.
Jade bid the Th'Tremsi delegation farewell in the typical Jedi fashion before looking over at the newest arrival: Nisk Balm. There was a face she had not seen in quite some time. In fact, she'd not yet met him personally although she was aware of his existence.
Greetings. In that case, present it.
Jade's hologram flickered once, twice, and then re-solidified properly. Emerald eyes darted across the room and contemplated the Jedi Knight directly.

Rawkill had been about ready to get up and take his leave of the council, when Nisk entered, giving a nod of his head in return to the Jedi Shadow's bow, at least grateful that Nisk had that much respect, however, a talking to may still be needed later. He gave a quick seated bow to the Th'tremsi delegation before they took their leave of the council, before finally returning his attention to Nisk, as he wondered just what sort of lead the man had uncovered that warranted such an appearance before the Council. Since Jade had already opened the floor for the man to speak, Rawkill sat and waited

Nisk bowed to Jade's hololithic presence and continued towards the center of the circular room. He passed shoulder to shoulder with the hulking figure of Vordaan and his delegation, giving them a curt nod of respect before ending in the middle of the elaborate floor.
"My fellow Masters," he began, looking from Mahir (who he didn't now was a Knight), to Master Calmcacil, Master Jade, Master Sacuru, and ending with the one Master he knew was burning a hole into him; Master Rawkill. He gave the Ewok Master a nod of understanding. He was going to get chewed out for sure, but this had to be brought to light. Nisk produced an object from his robes that looked like a smoothed river stone. It fit neatly in the palm of his outstretched hand; its' glossy obsidian surface reflecting the spire's light. Nisk pressed his thumb to the top of the object and a holo-projection appeared before him, materializing into the rictus grin of a skeletal face.
"I have tracked the Sith Lord known as Jud'dayus to the Deep Core, and I want to bring him to justice for Ossus." The Jedi spoke firmly. "As you may or may not be aware of, the Praxeum of Ossus and the Grand Library there came under attack by the Mandalorian forces shortly after Jud'dayus' arrival. After taking testimonies from survivors of the Mandalorian invasion, it seems that the Sith came solely for the purpose of procuring artifacts of the Order." Nisk stopped in thought, he'd also been told by many that the Sith Lord helped fight off the invaders before leaving. Some even admitted that if it hadn't been for the Sith's ominous appearance that the day might have been lost. It was a puzzling situation, a Sith helping Jedi... or was it all a rouse? Had the only reason the Sith "helped" was to cut his own way of escape off the planet with his goods? Nisk didn't know, but he was asking the Council's permission to find out.
"In the time since Ossus I have worked tirelessly to find anything on the Sith, but every shred of information I've gathered, every lead I've followed left me at a dead end... until this." Nisk smirked, a satisfied, almost smug look of accomplishment. He pressed the top of the device again and a grainy video-feed started to play.
It was an alleyway, or maybe some slum in the lower depths of Coruscant; either way, it seemed to be a very industrialized area. It only took a moment for a darkly cloaked figure to come into frame, stop and look behind himself - as if he'd heard something. Within an instant the frame when blindingly white, maybe it was a flash-bang, or some kind of ball lightening. But the flare knocked out the visual for a couple seconds before focusing again. Within the short time frame four cloaked humanoid figures were sprawled out, unmoving, the Sith's amber-orange sabers clashing with several white blades as the remaining Imperial Knights surrounded the Sith. It was truly a sight to behold. One against six remaining assailants, which shortly became four before something struck the Sith from off-screen seemingly incapacitating him instantly. The remaining Knights gingerly deactivated their sabers and looked off in the direction the foreign object had come. A looming shadow was all that came into frame, but judging by it's size it wasn't a regular sized person. The remaining Knights seemed to be conversing with this figure. After only a couple seconds a Knight turned towards the camera, raised a blaster, and the feed went dead.
Nisk thumbed the device and tucked it back into his robes. "The Imperial Knights have a war criminal that our Order has been after since the Civil War..." He let that fact sink in. "I suspect that the Knights may be after Jud'dayus for the same reasons as us, and that losing the Order's artifacts to the Imperials would be devastating, maybe more devastating than already having them plundered by Jud'dayus." Nisk took a breath. "I ask for the express consent of the High Council to pursue Jud'dayus, and bring him to justice; by any means necessary."

*So it seemed to be agreed, the Th'tremsi were to be welcomed as allies of the Jedi, ad as a defense force for the various branches of the Order. The High Exarch seemed grateful for the alliance and already immediately offered a specific "platoon" that could be of aid to the Council of First Knowledge. This was good. The only source of displeasure he could sense came from Knight Mahir, and not just due to the discussion from earlier it seemed... Probably making incorrect assumptions about others' thoughts and assertions about their character; there always seemed to be at least one attendee like that at each meeting, unfortunately.
Disregarding that, since it seemed there were no more items on the table, the meeting was ready to be adjourned. Not a moment too soon. Just as Aerandir was ready to bid his farewells and cut his transmission, however, another figure entered the room. No one would be able to read his expression nor sense his disappointment, seeing that he, as always, was a master of keeping his expressions and emotions under lock and key when it mattered, but he instead only appeared calm and dedicated to duty, as a Jedi should, and as a Jedi was.
The new arrival entered, apologizing for his perceived rudeness, and claimed to have news he felt needed to be presented before the Council. It certainly was sudden, but Aerandir trusted that one who had been with the Order for some time would not interrupt without good reason. He did not personally recognize the man, but he certainly could ascertain that he at least had some experience within the Order.
Aerandir took his attention away only to bow to the High Exarch as he departed. The newcomer was then invited to speak by Master Jade, and he approached the center, producing a small holoprojector that displayed a rather gruesome visage. The man explained that he had tracked a certain Sith by the name of "Jud'dayus" to the Deep Core, following the attack on Ossus during the Mandalorian Crusade. Ah, the Crusade... once a potential threat, but fortunately the fanatics had been handily defeated. Aerandir had borne no ill-will towards the Mandalorians, and indeed wondered just whether the entirety of the people were truly devoted to the Mand'alor's cause...
But it was the name "Jud'dayus" that Aerandir focused upon more. The Plague War... he had been the defender of Tatooine, and his forces had aided in the evacuation of that world. Allies at the time... but, it seemed, enemies once more. Sure, it seemed that an alliance had once more been briefly formed, but only during the duration of the battle at Ossus; Jud'dayus had then made off with stolen Jedi artifacts from the Praxeum.
And what was more, according to the footage played back by the man, he'd been taken by Imperial Knights.
The man seemed to want consent to pursue Jud'dayus and bring him to justice, as well as retrieve the artifacts, no less. Indeed, both goals were noble and their success would be of great benefit to the Jedi. Aerandir believed the answer to this one to be obvious.* :: Those artifacts belong to the Jedi. I see no reason why you should not be allowed to pursue the Sith and retrieve them. What kind of forces may you require? :: *Sending a Jedi to subdue and bring Jud'dayus to justice almost felt like backstabbing an old friend... almost. Aerandir had very little interaction with the Sith at Tatooine, but all the same, they had lent their forces to the same cause, and his own had covered the evacuation. Still, this must be done, and he hoped his fellow Masters agreed with him.*

Mahir waited quietly, He'd heard of Lord Jud'dayus of course, but he knew little about the sith. He was certainly a skilled blademaster, Mahir would remember to be wary of those saber's in particular should they ever cross his path. Mahir doubted his path would continue if he ever did meet Lord Jud'dayus, but that was unlikely to happen. The sith lord was in the Deep Core, and Mahir was returning to Ryloth, as soon as he was dismissed, unless he was given other orders of course.

Rawkill listened intently as Nisk delivered his report to the Council regarding his findings about the Sith Lord Jud'dayus and his involvement in the sacking of Ossus, which was still one of many temples on Rawkills list of Temples he still had yet to visit and assess. Thankfully, it seemed that Nisk had done a fair bit of the leg work already, and the man's count of what was missing would be a piece of information he would gather from the man later. In the meanwhile, he continued to listen as Nisk requested formal permission to track down Jud'dayus and retrieve him from the Imperial Knights, lest the Sith Lord's collection fall into the hands of the Empire. Rawkill felt that this would have been a matter better dealt with internally to the Shadows and CoFK, but it was a little too late for that now, it just meant that he would need to be creative about any reports that were given to the Council during and once Nisk's mission was complete =Jedi Master Rawkill= I concur with Master Calmcacil. As for any backup, perhaps you might want to consider a slight detour to Talus, since I imagine our new allies would be more then willing to lend you a few warriors to aid in your mission. Just a thought....

"There seems to be a problem on Byss."
The council fell into a heavy silence, every member staring at the Jedi who called the meeting. Olaro. With those words, the atmosphere suddenly became charged. Dophar was the first to speak, his voice cutting through the uneasy energy like a knife.
"Are you implying what I think you are?"
Olaro swallowed. "I don't know. There have been reports of missing persons in that area...but it is unclear."
The silence fell once again, the councilers exchanging glances with something akin to fear beginning to creep into their eyes.
"Surely...surely he has not returned. We were promised-"
"We were promised nothing." Two glanced around the chamber, making eye contact with each of the councilors, his face etched with solemn concern. "We know how it began last time."
All eyes returned to Olaro. The woman looked uncommonly nervous.
"We must not jump to conclusions." Dophar's voice was firm. "It is possible there is another explanation for what is happening on Byss." He nodded at Olaro. "You were stationed there for a reason, Jedi Olaro. Do you believe this could be a copy cat?"
Five snorted before the Jedi could answer.
"Who is old enough to remember? Even we were told under oath from our predessesors. We altered or purged all records specifically so no one would know." Her eyes narrowed. "The Dark Jedi are gone, their legacy nothing but dust in the wind."
Dophar shook his head. "We must not allow arrogance to cloud our judgement. We have been very fortunate that since the old days the Dark Jedi have come to ruin before they were ever a real threat to the Order. We can thank the Sith for that. We can consider the Order even more fortunate they destroyed each other in their last war...now only remnants of their followers remain, nothing more than whispers of legend and glory from the dark times. None of them remember or knows the truth, and those who were there from the beginning have all died or vanished." The older Jedi glanced around the council, his voice lowering. "We know their Laws...he cannot return. It is forbidden. But that doesn't mean there weren't loose ends and someone, or something, is trying to stir up trouble. We do know Cthulu and Pyros were spotted there. It is possible there are more that we do not know of."
Murmurs of agreement coursed through the chamber. Dophar lifted his chin, addressing Olaro again. "I trust you do not want to investigate these events without someone to accompany you?"
Olaro nodded. "I would appreciate the assistance."
Dophar steepled his fingers, glancing at his fellow council members. They nodded. He tilt his head at Olaro. "Master Jun-Kee and his apprentice have just returned from a mission...they shall accompany you. I will notify them and you shall leave within the day."
Olaro bowed and began to leave when Two's voice stopped her. "Jedi Olaro...to be certain...take the masks."
Dopher shot the councilor a sharp glance but said nothing as Olaro's face paled and she left.

Heading across the main hall, Iztara stalked toward the High Council Tower, for at its base lay the central security station. Ascending another flight of stairs, she makes her way into a long hallway and at the very end, a pair of blast doors stood ominously. Raising an eyebrow, the Warrior sighed and began digging in the confines of her robes for a small pouch. Pulling it forth, she unzipped it and selected a single computer spike. Inserting the spike into the door controls, it immediately went to work assaulting the security systems, controlling the blast doors, with garbage data entries and queries. Before long, the computer spike ejected itself from the door controls and they opened with a whoosh of air. Stepping into yet another long hallway lined with several security stations, Iztara replaced the depleted computer spike and selected another. Inserting the spike into one of the security stations, the protocols written into the spike’s programming code began to first, slice through the firewalls and second, access the security mainframe. It did not take long for the spike to interface with the secure system, chipping away at its defenses in a matter of minutes before it cracked. Once this had been achieved, the malignant programming contained within the spike began working to corrupt the security holo-files and bring the whole system down, all without a trace. This took a slightly lengthier amount of time, during which Iztara paced impatiently up and down the hallway, lost in thought. The telltale click of the computer spike ejecting itself was all that broke her reverie. Snatching the spike from the terminal, she stalked out of the High Council Tower and headed back to the main ziggurat.

*The High Council Spire... There was much history here, for Aerandir and for the Order at large. For ages, it had been the home of the Jedi Order, whether that of the Old Republic or Luke's New Jedi Order. It was historical and long served as a home to the Jedi Order, but up until the attack, it had been little more than a museum of sorts, manned by a skeleton crew that had been nearly entirely wiped out.
He made his way here, surprised to find that it had been unsealed. Before he actually ascended to the Council Chambers, he had taken a brief excursion to the security center. With the Temple's backup generators online, he was able to pull up the systems and attempt to bring up any footage of the attack. Much to his displeasure, the assailant had been thorough: Any and all data had already been corrupted and effectively wiped from the system. Not what he wanted to see, and yet he wasn't surprised; anyone with the ability to recreate the tehnovirus would have the resources to ensure they weren't found.
For now.
He downloaded the data anyway; perhaps there would be something useful hidden within here. He needed to get an investigative team working on this case and try to find any lead they could on this potential threat.
From there, he ascended to the Council Chambers... one of the few rooms in the Temple that had been otherwise unscathed by the technobeast invasion. He'd been part of many a meeting in this place, whether as a guest or Councilor. He recalled the various heated conversations, even including a literal shot taken at one of the Masters, though intentionally missed so as to prove a point. What that point was... Aerandir could not recall. Things were more chaotic in those days, but since then, the Jedi had better come together to act for the betterment of the Order and the Galaxy.
This was also the room in which Grand Master Dunta Coral had been elected, so many years ago. The first Grand Master in many years... and the last until recently.
The history of the Order was still rich in this room, in this entire Temple, despite the taint of the dark side the technobeasts had brought. He stepped forward, kneeling in the middle of the ring of seats, his crystal retreating from his robes and floating in the air before him. He reached out into the Force, calling into the light still present, the lingering presence of the Jedi who had once gathered here... And he drew it into himself. Into his crystal. He then channeled Ashla's purest form, creating a pathway between both sources, fueling the light of this Temple and increasing its reach and power.
His crystal shined brighter as the flow passed through it as well, absorbing the positive energies, amplifying the ones that already existed.
And then Ashla reached out. It flared throughout the entire Temple, through every stone, the darkness crying out as it was purged from this place that it was not welcome within. This was sustained for what felt like several minutes until it withdrew, leaving the Temple at last feeling like the bastion of the light it had always been... if not empty.
Aerandir opened his eyes and inhaled sharply, attempting to catch his breath. That had taken a lot out of him... but the Temple was at peace now. He had learned something else during his meditation... something that must be shared with the rest of the Order. He stood, taking his crystal and pocketing it as he turned and left; there was one final step to be taken care of here.*

Evading the tourists notice once again, Jair headed in the direction of the High Council Spire, but diverted instead towards the meditation balconies. Something was impelling him to go there, and at this point, he did not question it, he merely followed. There were still very few questions answered, if any. He sat down in the balcony, and closed his eyes.
The room transformed in his minds eye to the way it looked long ago, to the time shortly after Master Raven Alora had begun her renovations of the temple, and Master Arcanus Sunstrider was appointed the acting Master over the Temple. Jair saw himself walk up to a man in armor. It appeared to be none other than Sunstrider himself. Jair listened intently...
~"Master..."~ ~"Yes Jair?"~ ~"About, what we were talking about earlier... ... ..."~ ~"You know.. it's great that your trying to help others by defeating him.. but in doing so it will drive you to become more dark.."~ ~"I don't know... I always assumed that afterward I would overcome... ... ..."~ As the memories flashed forward, Arcanus appeared to have removed his helmet, and a knowing smile was now apparent on his features. ~"Find a Channel.. something that will get Him off your mind.. and do something other then walk around the Temple.. besides.. do you have.. feelings for-"~ For who? Who? Why was the memory obscured there? This did not make any sense...
~"Yes... but, how did you know?"~ ~"When I saw you two together I can see how you talk to her, and I compared it to others.. it's quite simple really..when you have the time to think about it... Follow through with it.. It may bring you happiness that you never thought you could have.."~ ~"I will."~
The memory faded, and Jair opened his eyes to see the same room, however, now bearing the marks of time, and change. Why was that memory incomplete? Why was it so important? Who was missing? And what did any of this have to do with the more disturbing and obscure memories that would manifest themselves? He sensed the tourists approaching again... no... not approaching, bypassing the meditation chambers. They were no doubt heading straight to the High Council Spire. That would be a fitting finale to the tour. Jair decided to slip out of the meditation balcony and quietly catch up to the tourists. Thankfully nobody seemed to notice he was ever gone...

[ Eamin “Min” Thunderstone | Main Council Chambers | High Council Spire | Jedi Temple | Coruscant ]Min paused to reverently observe the Council Chambers. Though she was not a Jedi, she read plenty on the HoloNet, and she knew enough about what transpired here. They weren't all that different from the Sith in some regards, but nevertheless, there was a more...positive light, and a warmth that washed over her in the Force as she stepped around. It felt like the Force itself painted images, phantom forms of the Jedi Masters that once sat here to deliberate on events. She also felt more recent Force Signatures. At least a Jedi had recently come through here. She couldn't tell much more than that.
More than that, there were other sensations. Perhaps Imperial Knights? Knights of Ren? She couldn't make it out for certain, but either way, between those Force signatures and tourists and tour guides coming through here, it was best to leave this place alone. She couldn't make use of it for the crowds, but she could put some funny holo-recordings, make it look like a lost recording of Jedi Masters meeting, only she'll modify it to something silly, like the Jedi Masters performing Cantina music with various instruments. That'd be a riot.
For now though, she left it the same as when she came in: with nothing and no traces.
