All the pro-slavery/pro-Sith stuff sounds good to me. We would logically work as the go-between trying to facilitate anti-Republic sentiments and efforts, being an intelligence-centric organization. Plus there have to be lightsaber battles.

I would be honored if i could be allowed to join this battle alongside the jedi as we fight for your freedoms and way of life . Also this could present a perfect in for me both in the universe and with the jedi. I also have a thread out there if any jefi would like me to rp with them or even be their escort or what ever we can come up with.

Cella brings up an interesting idea - if any Jedi really want to tussle with and kill a Sith, I'd be happy to have some NPC- or secondary-account level characters in the SI, written by them, that they can then dance with and dispatch. Anyone who wants to do that is free to let me know.

I think once I have inserted myself into the SI this looks right up my alley. If insurgence and infiltration is what you need and I would say glancing at this; it is. So count me in.

Alright, so sounds like our side actually has some interest. To that end, I'll have the SI kind of rally everybody IC pretty quick here with an NPC.
The basic idea we hammered out in chat is that the SI wants...something yet to be determined from Kashyyyk that is incredibly well-protected, and to erect a smokescreen we decide to organize a ton of slavers and stuff to basically overthrow some two-bit regime on the planet. We'll make contact with some kind of "rogue Wookiee" who wants to become chieftain or something, and once we're on the planet we'll double-cross him, probably kill him, and let the slavers and other folks do their thing while we get whatever it is we came for. Meanwhile, we'll set a trap for the Jedi PCs in a computer manufacturing center or something, have an epic lightsaber fight with a bunch of folks, then maybe something goes haywire and we all have to bail. Commence lightsaber fight in a collapsing center (it's supported in the trees so if it falls we're all boned), the Jedi bail, the Sith bail offplanet when they realize the plan has gone pear-shaped, and the Jedi are able to join the main battle (if everybody else wants to do total fleet/army battles?) and the day is won by the good guys.
If that's amenable to everyone, I can start the bad guy side pretty quick here. I'll have my character post some kind of...galactic call-to-arms along the trade channels of known slavers, and whoever's interested can answer the call in-character, we'll rendezvous, and head for the planet.

I think, as much as possible, it would be nice to incorporate the previous JvS history of Kashyyyk into this RP. The Kashyyyk Sith controlled it for long enough that at some point or another, it impacted plenty of people's storylines. Perhaps the SI could work in their gaining control of the planet through some kind of relationship with the KS.... as much as can be done without controlling another person's character.
