No spoilers. we can't rush some things. Slow burn my friend, slow burn.
Very nicely done with the NPC's. You did not disappoint.
Thanks for the heads up.

Mostly questions, but they needed to be asked or the crew would appear 2-D and stupid. Instead of having Tyna ask all the questions, I spread them around.

Well look at that. Commander Martaine is a wealth of ATST knowledge. I suppose that makes a lot of sense.
Questions are good. I'll do my best to flesh out the expectations of what comes next. There is gunna be a lore session about the river explaining what its deal is. You probably already guessed based on the first two, but every area is gunna be linked to a member from NOEs past.
Edit: I got plans for the river and the blighted marsh that comes after, but if you want to sprinkle in a location after that before they get to the volcano, by all means. We will have covered quite a few things by that point but if you got an idea for something exciting, well you know my thoughts on that.

Yea, he's like a 20 year veteran quarter master. he's going to know all about a motorpool. He'll have nearly seen all the ways an AT ST can get damaged by the first order teenagers driving them. He could probably do maintenance blindfolded. He's a smart guy (in his spheres of competency) but he is also an ass with almost no combat experience.
OMG YES I do want to do a location, right at the base of the volcano. A city buried in ash? I really like the multi- layered idea of the temple on malacore in star wars rebels. With the bodies turned to stone.
I figured we'd be encountering a gamorrean tribe at some point? Or would Starkiller just start murdering them? lol. Can you Pm me how many areas you were thinking? I wanna make sure I appropriately pace Tyna's back condition to match the climax and not try to develop it too fast or too slow.

In terms of screwing with the AT-ST, you could add little prairie dog creatures that make the grasslands uneven and pockmarked with holes so the AT ST can't go fast. or we RP it so the AT-ST starts off too fast and gets its foot stuck in a gopher hole and bends a strut so it goes really slow. just like a horse hitting a hole and breaking its leg and throwing the rider. the grassland wild life might mean that these tukata are adapted for hunting in the burrows and that allows them to use the burrows to ambush prey on the surface? Just throwing out ideas. Feel free to disregard.
If everyone is on foot, it might stretch the story out longer. We could also make the AT-ST stumble similarly and fall while fording. Up to you.
In terms of other locations, since we have marches, we ahve to work our way up in elevation to get to a mountain, so we might have foothills, or a plataue or a cliff, with flying lizards. Or giant land crabs/shrimp. or big insects. or we might follow the black river through the swamp, into the foothills and a canyon, (where some gamorrean live like Anasazi (cliff dwelling) indians?) then have to climb up the cliffs to get to a plateau and cross the exposed platuea then reach burnt charred forests close to the volcano and the dead city/ villiage/ town at the base of the volcano? Where things happen and we get bushwacked and hauled up the mountain for a ritual at the summit?

A city buried in ash sounds cool.
Since his upgrade SK is a little more....mmm, calm, lets say. So if we meet any gamorreans, especially given that they would be native to this area that the NOE considers holy, I figure ought to be exempt from wanton slaughter. Unless they are openly hostile, he shouldn't have reason to start swinging his axes.
I'll see what I can get up today. It might be tomorrow though, gotta a few errands to run today.

I was going to post Tyna's thought in my previous post, but I edited it out:
If she were by herself she'd use the grasslands to practice her stealth. She believed that she might be able to stalk past the beasts. If she had the luxury of an airlift out of there, she'd hunt a beast or two while she was at it. But she didn't have... well Maybe she could bag one. After all, they did have a walker that could carry the meat from a kill. She respected Starkiller too much to ask him to carry a dead animal around for her.
So change of plan, if you're ok with it. I like the stealth crossing plan, and that plan will be even better if we separate from the AT-ST and use the AT-ST as a diversion to lead the tuk'ata away from us. That way we can get the RP back to focusing on those two again.
Thoughts?

Just an update: I am starting to have success with my job applications. So, my replies may take more time. I'll probably have deep woods done by the end of the day today.
I also love the back story for Timmy in the City Ruins.

Nice, dude. Hopefully something pans out. Always better when money is going into your account instead of coming out. We've been posting up quite a storm lately anyways so it might even be nice to take some more time between posts. Gives us more time to get the creative juices flowing.
Lol, yeah, I was feeling in a silly mood when I wrote that. I don't know why but Draggy's convos with the ranats always cracks me up. I just like how when you read it, you have to infer what the rat said based on what Dragus says. Sometimes I translate the ewoks conversations, but I'll never do it for Squeakers. It's just better that way.

It's been nice to get a story started at a faster pace. I feel like I get into a groove faster that way when I am trying to feel out an RP.
Dude, sometimes you just gotta cut loose and have fun. All the sith grimdark stuff sometimes gets numbing. People have to feel hope before you fuck that hope up. It can't all be dark and despair, or darkness and despair kind of lose meaning. Its all relative. People in north korea don't think their lives suck, because its normal from their point of view. there needs to be genuine ok-times, to contrast with bad-times, or bad-moods. In my humble opinion. loving draggle rock. LOL
Sorry it took longer than I expected to finish my post.

Ah, not to worry. I'm not sure when I'll get posts up this weekend, kinda busy again, but I'm going in to my night shifts on Monday so I'll have a bit of time during the week I think.
Getting excited now coming up with ideas for Draggle Rock. It may mentally break Nic/Xitan, but I am gunna do my usual zaniness there because it is too good of an opportunity to pass up. Like I will set up some legitimate defenses, but the island is still going to be predominantly populated by ewoks and ranats. Fort Ewok is where I'm going to make all my monsters and masterpieces from now on I think.
I'm working on a few descriptions right now for the TG and am trying not to spit coffee out my nose because it's so silly. Like Dragus isn't introduced as a Sith, but rather...Renowned ewok conservationist...lol

I admit, I was super jazzed when I saw your post. Some spider action will be perfect. It seems like Lomm's penchant for bad jokes rubbed off on Starkiller. LOL. But you feel it right? its going to be super-satisfying to eventually kill these guys. XD

Taug is alright.
I thought I was going to like Jarvins, but now that he's being a bit of a creep...or really just acting like a typical guy tbh, I'm excited to see him inevitably bite the bullet as well when the time comes.
Maybe they will redeem themselves as a zombie crew. It'll definitely make Martaine more tolerable, lol.

S'all good. Figured I would give the lantern some convenient temporary transitive properties. I mean, it was either that or acknowledge Martaine was doing something useful. I stand by my decision, lol.

its been a busy day. I had an interview and 5 companies sent me emails wanting to set up interviews. I have more interviews on thursday, and then I'm out visiting family from friday until tuesday, and more interviews next week. If I don't get a post up tomorrow or thursday, I probably won't post until next week.
Question: I have too many Ideas on what to do with Tyna. I literally started writing her going in 3 or 4 separate directions. Do you have any thing you'd think would be cool, or you'd like to see her do in this situation?
Edit: Also don't worry about the RP on coruscant. I've written that story out a couple days ago and have been slowly posting it in smaller chunks. I'm not cheating on you. ;)
