Alright, I'm gunna work something up this morning and then that will be it probably until Monday, unless of course I get the proper post at work...which never seems to happen. It is supposed to be my 'sub-control' week which basically your job is to open secure doors, unlock cells, turn on lights, etc from a computer in a glass room that overlooks two living units. It's considered a break compared to working the floors and dealing with a unit full of 40 inmates. Except there are so many people with illegitimate accommodations (meaning they don't have to work the floors) that hardly no one who is supposed to get that post actually gets it. But maybe enough people will call in sick on the weekend that it will happen, or I'll be working alone. Probably the latter knowing my luck :-/

Crossing those fingers! Also, Idk if prisons in canada are like in the USA. Be safe!
How far are Starkiller and Tyna from the black river? is this a thing where they might run and fight on the banks? Also, I assume the river is acid and would kill anything that stepped, fell, was pushed in it?

Yeah, they could probably make it to the bank and then get to scrapping.
Just assume whatever hazardous chemical it is, you fall in you don't come back out. So pretty much acid. Like a sulphuric bubbly black stew.

Thanks for the clarification. That helps.
I don't have time right now to finish the posts I started drafting for the deep woods and Rishi. BUT I just finished watching Andor. OMG. Its the star wars universe that I imagine in my head come to life. Quality Content. five stars. I just wanted to log in to say that.
I might be able to finish a post on the weekend. We'll see how these interviews go.

The Mrs. and I have been doing one episode a night, so we watched the second last night and have the third slated for tonight. We're also watching Sandman on netflix right now and its such a weird but interesting show that I can't look away. Oh, also got watch the new episode of LOTR tonight as well.
It's funny, I go through periods where there feels like there is nothing worth watching, then periods where there is too much to keep up with.

I think the fat ewok is going to be alot of fun. Along as you don't mind Havok trying to lowkey kill it. I'm planning on having it survive a bunch of close-call freak accidents. LOL. Man, its going to be a goofy RP. :D

Hey, that's the way I like it I see you've noticed Ballz's bastard son. Started as an NPC of Belisarius' in Mandalore's orbit but the more I thought about it, the more it felt like he deserved his own profile.

There. Done with that post. *does a dance to celebrate.* I am not sure yet if I want another beast in that den, or if its empty and that tukata was a lone outcast or something... I figure the force sensitive beasties are crafty and cunning. I was trying to play up their threat level, because face it, these are the ones that survived Kryptman's hunts!
fyi, Tyna's blaster shoots blaster bolts that look like the dark saber blade. Black bolts encased in muted light.
Won't be able to post anything else until saturday or sunday. Started drafting an idea for brother Eli in the city of the eye. Maybe interesting, maybe not. We'll see where my draft takes me.

I LOVE your post on Roon in the Fortress topic. FUCKING EPIC. ALL OF IT. the Roof scene, Mephisto, the Hammer, the build up of power, the process. Everything. One thing though, and don't take this as anything other than an attempt to provide constructive feedback- Perhaps the bloody weapon names are becoming somewhat repetitive. Blood eater, blood drinker, blood thirster, that sort of thing. After all the awesome build up, the name of the weapon seemed a little less than inspiring (to me). Feel free to disregard if you disagree with me. Names are kinda personal and very much depend on taste that differ between people so if you like it at the end of the day, there ain't anything wrong with that. It's your work.
I have opinions, b/c I am an opinionated person. feel free to ignore me or tell me to shove my unsolicited advice up my lazy ass. ('Cause you worked hard and wrote the darn post, and I'm the lazy fuck that's lobbing comments from the peanut gallery.) Perhaps try a person's name? For example- (heavily influenced by my preferences) Caligula, Or Nero. Brutus, and add an adjective? The Black Caligula. The Red Brutus. The Fire-Nero. Or give it the name of your most hated enemy so Dragus feels particularly hateful each time he wields it... Bad Daddy? LOL. Jk. The last one is a joke. Maybe I am missing that it is another tie-in to a running theme that dragus seems to have with blood. (covenant of blood, drinking fish blood, Pzob blood berries, biting his gums until they bleed, etc). In that case, Blood Beater, Red-death, Sanguine Rose, Blood Star, Blood Moon (or in latin, Sanguis Lunae), or in German (in honor of Major), blut=blood (gore-blut, Blut-beater, blut-basher, Blut-Durster=blood thirster in german, (blood drinker=Blut-trinker in german), blutt-fucker (lol), whateves) might also be ways to switch it up? I should take my own advice. Havok is not one to talk. Havok chooses dad-joke code names for personal missions, like Operation goodboy to get his war-steed back, and operation coldstone (or was it stonecold?) for Tyna seeking out Mortale. If Havok was looking for a lover, he'd call it operation bow-chicka (wow wow). Examples of names I know kinda suck. Anyway, ignore me or feel free to give me any feedback If I write something that seems repetitive to you.

Thanks, dude. I was feeling like Sauran when I wrote it, lol. Also, and it is funny that once again we are on the same page about something, I also was not happy with the name. It's definitely not my specialty.
Bloodeater was the name Endor gave Dragus' axe when he made it back in 1.0 on Mustafar. For that weapon it felt fitting because when he uses it the weapon turns him berserk.
But I wanted to imply that this new mace was even better, since it was made by Dragus for Dragus. So giving it such a similar name might suggest it is equal to Bloodeater....hmmm, not good.
You are right that blood is a common theme of his. Has to do with being an evil clone of my original good guy character Endor. It's given him an inferiority complex and daddy issues, lol.

You have an edit option on your post. If you think of something you like more, you can always change it later, but its easier to do sooner rather than later because one'd have to edit other posts etc. It's not that blood thirster is a bad name- as you indicate, it is meaningful. its just the double R sounds in ThiRsteR affects how it rolls off my tongue.
Maybe just shortening it to "Blood Thirst" might be better, because it then isn't apparent whether the name is referring to the weapon's nature, or the wielder's hunger, or an attribute of the wielder that has been disembodied and placed in the weapon. And it gets rid of the extra "-er" at the end that makes the name kinda clunky (in my opinion).
It allows for narrative situations where Dragus looks around and says, "Where is my Blood Thirst!? I can't go into battle without my thirst for blood!" And he is talking about his weapon as if it IS the physical avatar of his hunger. The weapon also becomes almost an artifact or relic if it was sitting in a museum- a Plaque reads: "here lies Dragus' Blood Thirst." If Dragus holds it, he calls the weapon "my Blood Thirst." It almost instantly has a legendary quality. He holds the weapon up to the sky before proclaiming to all watching hosts: "Behold! My Blood Thirzt!" Moments later, Dragus was swinging his mace and exploding heads in clouded mists of pinkish grey-matter.
I love coming up with names. I'll indulge myself a moment. I can always go simpler with one word- Drinker, Thirster, Swiller, sipper, souser, belter, swigger, sucker, quaffer, supper, slugger, quencher, with the blood part implied, because of course a weapon drinks blood.
Or stick with blood with something like Blood sup, or Blood slugger- is nice because to slug can mean to drink or hit like in baseball. "Louisville slugger" for a brand of baseball bat. But I know that for some people, coming up with the name on their own is part of the package. It needs to be something they think of, or they pick, as part of the satisfaction.

Maybe some play on leech. I occasionally refer to him as a bloodwyrm or leech, which would be appropriate for the weapon since it enjoys supping spilt vitae.
Although I do like Blood Thirst as well. Gah, why does this have to be so hard? Lol. Too many neat ideas out there.

I think the writer's agony of naming something is the agony of a god naming his beloved creation. It is the agony of greatness. ;) If there is no agony, then I don't love it enough.
Another Idea: You might give it no name... and have it be nameless for a while. You might even RP having the weapon scream out in agony for a name before Dragus finally names it.

Probably for now I'm just going to leave the post as is and just refer to it as the black mace of Dragus until something inspires or sticks. I was debating using it at Ryloth but I've got a fun description for Draggy's lightsaber in action that needs to be expressed first. Think Gallagher. It's gunna be messy, hehe.

I look forward to reading it. Also love the drop ship action on Ryloth. Things falling apart and failing on the way down, it breaths life and realism into the decaying nature of Dragus' forces and ships.

Originally I was going to have the pod explode mid air and have Drags and Spite stay airborne for a while, but once I read the cities wookieepedia entry and realized it was literally protected by a mountain with the rich people living in the top levels, I knew I had to crash into it and eventually smash my way in. Better to wet his appetite on the wealthy as the slum squalor make for better slaves I think.
My ultimate goal before the completion of that RP will be to force Xitan into a position where he has to say 'Dragarys'. Haven't quite worked out all the details yet but there is sure to be chaos to follow as I go about my business wrecking the city, lol.
