Pzob OOC

Finally made the move. Work is going to be taking up alot. I am writing this on my phone to test this out in case I am in line some where, I can start a draft or something. I am waiting for a hair cut...

Draft: havoks room at the temple
Havok sat in his chambers in the upper levels of the temple. His stone chair was as cold and hard as his intentions. Around him were arrayed the devices and fetishes designed to peirce the vail of time and space with his sight. Decks of cards, ensorceled defining rods, mummified entrails, etc. One wall was arrayed with the preserved skulls of his enemies. One head slowly hovered in a jar of glowing liquid. Around it tubes ran, connecting it to a bulky medical machine. The eyes of the head opened revealing it was still alive, animated and prevented from dying by the dreadful machine.
"My lord..." the voice was mechanically rendered by the bulky machine, as the head's lips and mouth moved. "You have foretold the outcome. There is no tome more to search, no stars to read, no sacrifice more to offer."
The dread seer turned his head to the talking head in a jar. "No. Everything can change. You exist here in defiance of your foretold destiny. A destiny that I interrupted at my will and whim."
"Milord, I am, as always, most grateful for your gift and boon on my behalf. But, you foretold your own end. How can you defy your own prophecy?"
"How indeed." Havok's answer was more

Señor Rebellious has sought Draggles out on Rishi which will eventually lead to them planning a coup against the current NPC Supreme Leader of the SE, with Reb to eventually take over the role after. I kinda think that should take place after Dragus' meeting with Havok, so when you post if you could either continue using the terrain which we were using before the Draggle Rock topic got created, or if at the top of your post you could indicate that this is taking place before his Rebellious interaction...that would be helpful. Maybe for the sake of avoiding confusion it would be simpler to just keep using the terrain topic (just quote my first post on Draggle Rock in your response if you don't mind).

I'm pulling a you. Work in progress on that last post. I just had a stroke of brilliance in the shower while stroking...my lucky shampoo bottle.

Granted I'll probably have it edited by the time you read this.

Edit: Okay, all done. I mostly just added a bunch of stuff, but I got excited about the topic and had to find a way to talk about it.

Working on drafting a post for Rishi, thinking up things.

Ya jinxed me! You talked about needing to clean up the house and now my wifey is enlisting me to do a bunch of cleaning! Its the dangers of having a holiday... you're also available for chores. A necessary evil.
A friend of mine liked to tell me a story about another friend of his. So my bro was playing battlefront at this dude's house, and the dude's wife told him to take the garbage out. The dude turned to his wife and pointed his finger at her and with his best Vader impression: "You are part of the rebel alliance and a traitor!" (to my bro) Take her away!"
My bro nearly died laughing. LOL.  
I don't remember the rest of the story about her reaction. 

Inspiring or not, sometimes the narrative just needs to move along. Tyna's post wasn't particularly inspiring either.

Question about Rishi- Reading it leaves a remarkable amount of ambiguity as to what is about to happen. Which is exciting and clever.
Based on my reading, Dragus is either about to try to betray and kill Havok and stash his soul in a black altar, or Dragus is pleading for help. Or both?

Am I reading that right?

Seriously, I thought this was about to be an epic chess move to lure Havok to Rishi, to try and fill the final alter, which would thus usher in...????? (whatever it would do). But then Havok has a dilemma: does he try to kill dragus, incapacitate Dragus, or run? Havok would have to have a thing where he was getting meta- that he can't be killed now b/c its not his destiny to be killed by Dragus, but then again, has the Eye been messing with Havok's visions of his own death(s)? While Dragus losing hours and days of his time could explain away that he wouldn't knowingly and willingly betray havok, it's kinda would be random since we're protected by the meltmassif. 

If it was done, it would need to be very carefully done- but if done right we could demonstrate Darth Tyna's point that friends betray each other... nicely. LOL.

but....

I mean, do we stick with unquestioning loyalty aspect of brotherhood? Or do we eventually have a betrayal arc? It's always possible, but right now, the loyalty to his brothers is what is keeping Havok going. A betrayal might be something that could send Havok spiraling at some point in the future. If I ever get Tyna to the point that I want, a spiraling havok might be just the thing Tyna needs to make her betray her father figure. 

BUT! BUT!!
It would be alot of work... and I'm not ready for that right now, so I kinda don't want to do that right now. whew.  But we may need to have an interlude on Rishi where we kill underlings and be bad to cheer ourselves up or something. Or maybe we get high together? Or maybe we get really goofy with dad jokes? I'm going to need a good think about what I want Havok to do and how he might interpret the situation.

I do think I might have time to do a post this coming holiday weekend. We'll see what happens.

It's a work in progress but a good starting point at least. Felt inspired while working away at Pzob's traveler's guide, which I will PM to you for review and edits before submitting it to the Whills. I'm trying to balance things between the hannites and the gamorreans, if that makes sense. Mostly staying away from technology, as none of Pzob's current inhabitants are that technologically sophisticated. Expect to see a few ewok things snuck in ;-)

You're over thinking it, lol. I just start typing and let the keyboard carry me in whatever direction it wants.

I actually had a cool idea for how to move things along and keep it interesting, so I am eager to do another SK post. Got some Pzob lore to share and some tuk'ata to murder }:>
