Flying through the foggy atmosphere of Anzat it was amazing that anyone could find their way around. Tezzret knew exactly where they were going however and guided the Droid pilot to where they needed to go. The shuttle touched down and the doors opened 40 IG-100 Magna guards started filed out of the shuttle taking up positions around the shuttle. Moments later Tezzret stepped out of the shuttle wearing a dark tunic and pants with armored gloves painted black. He looked around into the mist and fog swirling almost malovelently.
"I know you are out there. Come out and we can discuss the future in peace."
Suddenly several of the droids dropped down crackling electricity shooting from large blades protruding from their chests. A voice called out speaking the ancient language of anzat. The droids were confused not having translation software for the archaic language. Tezzret growled in his throat before responding in his native tongue.
"That was most unneccesary I have made no hostile action and only wish to discuss our combined futures."
Tezzret deftly knocked a dagger from the air that had flown from the mist. The dagger clattered to the ground and moments later an older Anzanti stepped into the clearing.
"I see your skills still remain sharp. Yet you are still too young to be a master so why have you returned?"
"I have not come back to teach. I have come to rule. Bow to the king of the Azanti."

The silence that followed Tezzret's bold declaration was a little humiliating. However several more Anzat stepped forward from the mists. Kal'lek crossed his arms and cracked his brow questioningly at Tezzret.
King? I don't remember voting for you.
"You don't vote for kings. However if any of you wish to oppose my rule feel free to try and kill me. I've far surpassed all of you"
With that Tezzret crossed his arms behind his back. The assembled Anzati looked at each other suspiciously before one brave soul stepped forward readying a deadly looking blade. Tezzret affixed the man with a vicious stare the force following through him his eyes turning darker then the blackest night. With a bloodcurdling scream the man disintegrated into nothingness before their very eyes. Before Tezzret's eyes even returned to normal three more lept forward reaching out with a simple wave of his hand the three hurtled into the mists. Another tried to advance but the ground beneath his feet exploded shredding the anzati with the rocky shrapnel. Tezzret looked up at his former master only to find him no longer there, with a flash Tezzret spun around slapping the plunging blade from his masters hand with an armored hand. With the other he thrusted his open palm into Kal'lek's chest throwing him back several yards. An aura of energy surrounded his gloved palm although it dissipated as he walked to his masters crumpled form.
"I have soundly bested you and your best pupils. Will you acknowledge my claim to rule, or do you choose death."
With a cough blood flecked Kal'lek's lips. As he looked up at his former pupil.
I'm convinced this path will lead to great misery, I will not resist though

Tezzret motioned for two of the droids to come help Kal'lek up. They hoisted him to his feet and Kal'lek looked at Tezzret with suspicion. Tezzret motioned for the droids to follow and they all re-entered the shuttle. The shuttle closed and then took off towards space.
"Your caution is well-founded Kal'lek. I will need your suspicion and counsel in the days to come. You will lead this planet in my stead while I'm away securing our future. Rember this planet belongs to our people now."
The shuttle set down in the hangars of the Atheros and the droids took Kal'lek from the shuttle. Tezzret followed them to the shuttle entrance.
"Get him going under his own power then give command of this ship to him. Follow his orders as if they were my own."
With that the shuttle doors closed and the shuttle took off again. Then the droids took Kal'lek to the infirmary for treatment

The shot had rang out from the spaceport. And it had managed to impact square with the descending corvette. Unsuspecting and now crashing, the defences on the ground appeared to be a bit more organized and prepared to resist an invasion than original reports would have indicated...Continued from here...The first impact is what had thrown the Sith to the deck plating. It was the second and subsequent third impact that had been unexpected. The second had been the ship hitting the ground and bouncing up off the ground. The third and final impact was the Resurrection reaching its final resting place, the Anzati countryside. All in all, there were worse ends to a ship sporting as colourful a history as this particular corvette was. Outside the ship, clouds of black smoke billowed skyward. Deep gouges within the earth behind the vessel could be seen. Armour plating and random bits and pieces that had been dislodged during the impact were scattered about the crash site. Inside the corvette was an entirely different story. Several sections were without power. Sparking conduits, flickering glow panels and screens, smouldering access panels. People, gear and materials of all kinds scattered everywhere. Major Kage had managed to catch himself during the first impact, and subsequently, he had been in a position to lend aid to Vasari. Sinclair had hit the far wall, but he was on his feet and helping sort everyone out. Clicking on the flashlights on his helmet, Kage issued orders.Sinclair, take a team and secure a perimeter. Orson, grab Valdez and Doc Rios. Gather any and all medical supplies you can. Simms. Headcount. Greene, Cruz, Miller, armoury. Gather as much gear as we can afford to haul. Chances are good we aren't coming back.As the troopers within the room carried out their orders, the Sith Lord was still on the floor, unconscious...The Zabrak's mind was blissfully ignorant to the chaos that had ensued from the crash. Even the Elders that were trapped in there with him were quiet for the time being. It was almost peaceful. Almost. And then a familiar voice rang out. He knew he should recognize the voice but he couldn't be bothered to identify it. The silence from the Elders was so welcome that he was willing to just remain this way for as long as possible. Enjoying the moments of silence, a familiar presence brushed against the edges of his perceptions. Vasari!? She was attempting to make contact with him. Probably to ascertain the situation. And given the fact that he was currently unconscious, he wasn't exactly all that helpful. He could feel her cautiously probing his mind, searching. What was she searching for? And then it dawned on him. She was looking to connect with him. She wanted that Master/Apprentice bond to form. Truth be told, he hadn't allowed that bond to form with anyone since Amaris. He had closed himself off from everyone around him. His wife and children included. And since he had taken on the power of the Elders, he cared even less about any of those things. Power was the one thing he craved now, above all else. Often times, even above self preservation. And that scared him. He wasn't afraid to die. He also wasn't afraid of how it would happen. It's the fact that he was going against his natural instincts, pushing his limits to the extreme. Okay, maybe natural wasn't the right word, considering he had been around for the past one hundred sixty years. But still, the point stood. Back to the matter at hand, however. Vasari. She was going to find out sooner or later anyways. Lowering his defences just enough, he allowed her mind to connect to his. But the Elders had other plans Grabbing that connection, they hung on tight, refusing to let go. An ominous laughter echoed within the walls of his mind. You are naive, willful and stubborn, son of Savage. But now we have a found a chink in your armour. Which means you are no longer calling the shots when it comes to our revenge. Go on. Proceed with your plans, son of Savage, but you WILL heed our call. Now. AWAKEN!Eyes snapping open, he could feel Vasari's fingers pressed against his temple. Brushing her hand away with his free hand, he groaned. He could no longer feel the subtle vibrations within the deck that would indicate they were still in flight. Actually, he felt nothing at all. The thrum of the engines has ceased. Grimacing as he pulled his left prosthetic hand out of the deck plating, he rose to his feet, rubbing his neck. Noticing Vasari still eyeing him up with concern, he merely inclined his head."Your concern is noted, apprentice. I have endured much worse, however..."It was true. This paled in comparison to some of the other injuries he had sustained over the many long years of his life. Glancing over to Luxeria, he spoke above the hollering happening all around them. His men getting this sorted, as they were trained."I take it we reached the surface much sooner than expected...? What is our status?"He asked as he rolled his shoulders and stretched his neck out, relieving the built up tension. If they were already on the ground, they needed to move quickly. If the Anzati managed to pounce on them before they were prepared, it wouldn't be much of a struggle at any rate...

Vasari's eyes were closed, and while she seemed to be ignoring everything going on around her to connect with her Master she had mentally recovered much sooner and was currently extending her mind to once more regain the connection with Luxeria that had been broken as well as strengthening her hold on Kage's tether within her mind as well. However the bulk of her concentration was still on Viox. She wasn't going to push and pry her way into his mind, that would no doubt be met with the same harshness and abruptness as it had on Iridonia when they had met, but regardless she waited. His body seemed to be in one piece, mechanical bits included, but his mind was still lingering behind the walls he had created. An uninteresting and blunt mental defense to be sure, walls... it was always walls with men. She would have rolled her eyes had they been open.
She felt something finally, a stirring and after a bit of a moment she felt a hole open within his mind - no not a hole, it was too intentional to be a hole, a gate perhaps. Nothing was clear to her and even as she attempted to reach into it with her own mind like water flowing through the grates in a dame, she was met with nothing but emptiness, silence. A rather clear and resonant silence. There was nothing here. Interesting. A smirk played across her lips even as she knelt beside her master's still form. She would have explored further had this been another time, but she had felt Viox attempt to make contact but something had stopped him. She understood the way the mind worked and this was an intentional move to let her in, and just as intentional was the move that kept their minds from joining in that brief moment. A gentle and still pool of water formed just on the other side of the mental wall that she was allowed through and then she retreated.
Vasari's eyes opened and she attempted to withdraw her hand just as Viox regained consciousness and brushed her aside. She held a look on her face as she knelt beside him that was a mix between amusement, interest, annoyance, and concern all at the same time. She stood as he came to his own feet, his hand breaking away from the flooring with a loud creek and a crack of the durasteel. Only then did she outwardly begin to take note of the surroundings, her mind shifted - pushing further afield, reaching out around the crashed ship - finally in touch with the living force once again. She exhaled as Viox brushed her off and set her mind to more useful matters. Her voice raised just loud enough to be heard, over the movement and bustle of the soldiers.
"Scouts approaching... three of them... two to the west... one alone just to the north of the ship."
She shifted her feet slightly as she attempted to push her mind closer to them to get a better read on their capabilities but her thoughts were still reeling with the impact of the crash and she wasn't at 100% yet. She looked back to Viox, then thought better of it and turned her glance to Luxeria.
"Orders?"

It all moved so fast as they plummeted to the ground below. She had no idea what had happened to cause the first impact, be it a shot from the ground or the ship finally giving out after years of use. She did feel, though, as if she heard someone yelled out about the defenses of the spaceport. The was no time to think on it however as the finally reached the ground, slamming hard into its surface.
It took all she had to keep her grip on the consoles, yet it loosened just as the second impact ended. In turn, it left her nearly free to be slung forward to the ground at the third, forcing her into a flip that sent her flying a few feet and slamming hard onto her back. She stayed in this position for a few moments, simply waiting for everything to finally grow still. When it had, she rolled over and struggled to get herself to her feet. Her body ached, slowing her down considerably. A loud audible groan emanated from her as she pushed the last few inches to straighten herself out.
Breathing heavily, she began looking around. Soldiers moved about the room, shouting orders and establishing control of the situation. Sometimes she wondered why there was ever a need to actually lead a team such as this. Outside of just keeping them in line, loyal soldiers who had the required training should have been more than capable of handling these missions without them needing to be in charge.
Shaking her head, and making herself a little light headed in the process, she stumbled along, seeking out Viox. She could have sworn she had seen Vasari enter the room just as everything transpired, but couldn't be sure. It had proved true though as she rounded the central console to see her with the Sith'ari as he made it to his feet. When he called out to her, asking for their status, she grimanced slightly. Of all people to ask, why her? Like she knew any more than he did. Giving a sigh, she moved forward, unaware that he had fallen unconcious and merely felt as if she would have already found out what went on. She might not have like the sudden spotlight, but would give him what information she could.
Reaching the pair, she forced herself straight again, wincing under the pain that was dying out much to slowly. "It seems we've crashed. There are still no details yet, but after the first impact I heard mention of the spaceport defenses. My guess is they ready for us and brought us down. Whatever element of surprise we might have had is gone now. And by the state of things, I don't see this ship flying again. We need to move. No doubt patrols and scouts have already been sent out."
As if right on cue, Vasari mentioned the scouts that were on there way. Then Vasari turned to hr and asked for orders. Why was she asking her? She might have been in charge of the operation on the ground, though this was far from expected. It wasn't until they had reached Mustafar's orbit and Vasari left that Viox unvealed that part of the plan to Luxeria. She expected her to ask Viox and he direct the Zabrak woman to the Human, but no. In the moment, it didn;t even click that their link could have very well provided that information.
It didn't matter, though. Looking to Vasari, she gave the woman what she was looking for. "Begin your Battle Meditation. This race is dangerous, able to operate at peak human levels, with excellent preadatory skills, and a potent telepahy ability. You will help strength their minds and relay those positions to the soldiers outside checking the perimeter. Any others you find, share that direction with the rest of us. As for everyone else, we need to get moving."

Everything ached. Usually a good indicator that you were doing something incredibly stupid. Or in this case, crashing and falling. Regardless of the minor injuries sustained, the Sith'ari inclined his head at Luxeria's order.
"Agreed. Major, ensure everything that we can pack out is accounted for. Then purge the databanks and set the charges."
With a quick nod, Kage took off to see to his assigned duties. Luxeria may have been temporarily in charge of this mission, but he was still the Sith'ari. And it was his duty to ensure no sensitive data fell into enemy hands. This ship had been good to him and his fleet. But it was just a ship. With the resources being drawn in from all corners of Blackguard territory and the shipyards over Sullust and Mustafar, building replacements were only a matter of time. And given what he had discussed with Malvus and Ciridan shortly after the Felucia Raid, new ships would be available soon enough. Ensuring his sabers were where they should be, the Zabrak raised his hood and made his way out of the downed vessel. Upon exiting the craft and inspecting the crash site, the cause of the crash had become clear. An incredibly powerful ion blast has knocked the ship's power out, causing the initial crash. Their speed and subsequent impact with the planet's surface resulted in the situation they were in now. Obviously the spaceport was more heavily defended than intel would have had them believe. Not that it mattered. They were on the ground and his fleet was in orbit. Anzat would fall to the Blackguard. It was inevitable at this point. Moving a few yards away from the downed vessel as his soldiers prepared to move out, he closed his eyes and allowed his perceptions to extend. This world was vibrantly alive within the Force. It could have been considered tantalizing to anyone lesser. To him, it was invigorating. He felt more alive. And with his apprentice reinforcing their will and determination, they had an advantage, but it didn't outweigh all of the disadvantages they currently faced. With the Resurrection out of the fight, they lost their close air support until his fleet could break through. He would just have to adapt his strategies. This was a ground game now. And he was itching for a fight.

At the order passed by Luxeria she nodded, not at all surprised by the tactic she would have chosen. Luxeria knew her strengths better than anyone else here, probably even better than her own Master. As she worked to strengthen the bonds between the three of them she also reached out towards the Leaders of the soldiers that Viox had brought. Sinclair, who's mind was practically foreign to her... she believed he had been on the first Mustafar mission... but she couldn't be sure - then there was Kage who's mind she knew slightly better. Linking them as well within the realm of her battle meditation she tested her mental strength as to what she knew of what they would be fighting. Her mind reached out towards Viox and Luxeria both communicating her thoughts - the two soldiers would only hear her if their minds had been trained towards such a linked mindset.
I can say with some assurance that i can maintain the five of us and still fight. But, Master, if you wish me to protect everyone of your soldiers from the mental assaults of the Anzat... i will need a place to meditate and to link to the planet. The Anzat are quite powerful mentally and I have never fought one before, mentally or otherwise.
When she said maintain she didn't mean the aura that would serve as a moral boost and a means to hone their concentration as standard battle meditation might. But when it came to the five of them Vasari's mind would be a shield around their mental defenses, any assault directed against their minds would have to break through her own first. And as the Anzat were primarily mental hunters, preying on the minds and seducing them into a sense of false security before feeding such a thing would be a great benefit. Once their mental snares had been tripped... and their subject did not immediately fall under their command it would give the five of them a moment of advantage while Vasari fought off the mental assault herself. She had prepared her mind for just this sort of thing, but even then a Five way binding while in combat was the extent of her practical power. She might be able to bind a sixth mind to her, but she did not want to risk it... and so the warning.
At the call for charges Vasari exhaled somewhat in annoyance and moved off separate from the group back to her bunk, coming back with a black soldiers pack under her arm, which she was greedily shoving a book into. Closing the strap she secured the pack, which now held the three books she had brought with her, and flung it over one shoulder, then tightened it to her cloak as well. It would hinder her slightly, but the knowledge within was worth the extra concentration she would have to dedicate towards some of her more acrobatic maneuvers. And if she ever found a place to bunker down and extend her range, a spell that she had discovered within one of the books might assist her. Slipping out of the broken landing ramp she unclipped her saberstaff and held it gingerly between her slender gloved fingers. Her eyes narrowed as she felt the first of the mental assaults being directed towards her... she followed it along its source and even as her eyes grew hazy and her mind was forced to throw itself to its own defense she raised a hand towards the bushes where a dark figure hid amidst the shadows. The first and the closest of the Anzat scouts... testing their resolve no doubt.
"There..."
She called out gently, almost nonchalantly looking down her raised hand. She would have fried the Anzat herself with a bolt of six of ichor lightning, draining its own life force for her reserves, but she was busy learning... feeling the way the attack felt, the way the aliens mind attempted to put her at ease almost instantly. Her thoughts lingered around an image of purple sheets and pale... pale skin... a smile curved upon her lips. An image of the Anzat's exact location appeared within the four other minds she was linked to... she trusted one of them to get to the scout before he escaped with the knowledge that this knew enemy would not be swayed so easily. The longer they could hold on to this advantage the further inland they would get without greater resistance.

Luxeria took note of the words echoing in her head, thinking out what part Vasari would need to play. Ultimately, it would be a question of immediate needs. Hold Vasari back in order to fortify the minds of all, or keep her going and cover only the few? With everything is such disarray, it was a bit more difficult than she would have liked. For the moment, though, she gave no response as they made their way out of the ship. In the few moments that Vasari disappeared and returned, Luxeria was starting to move down a selected path for what to do when she noticed the bag that her friend now carried. With the extra weight, no doubt the books Viox gifted her, the full depths of her usefulness in battle would be hindered, which made her choice that much simpler.
She never got the chance to begin making any orders as Vasari pointed out one of the scouts in a bush near-by. There was no time to call for the soldiers to move in and with Vasari's lifted hand, it could be assumed that the scout realized he had been found out. Lifting her own hand towards the bush, her curved-hilt lightsaber that hung on her right hip flew from its resting place towards the shadows, igniting only as it reached the bushes. She saw movement, but only enough to see the Anzanti get up to move, then fall to the ground as her saber pierced through it. One down, two more out there. Summoning the saber back to her hand, she deactivated it and replaced it as she called out to one of the soldiers checking the perimeter.
"Soldier. Has your squad gotten a quick lay of the land? We need to get to high ground as quickly as possible."
She knew they couldn't just head straight for the spaceport. They needed a short time, at least, to check injuries supplies as well as to go over what they did know about the situation. Heading out now left them blind and unprepared. This was the enemies home so they needed to regroup before making any plans. Higher ground would give them a better defensible position until they were ready to move. It would also grant Vasari time to establish a full Battle Meditation.

Anzat - Resurrection Crashsite.
The crimson armored trooper, Command Sergeant Daniel Sinclair, replied to Luxeria's question.
Yes ma'am. My scouts have found a ridge overlooking this valley. Adequate cover and fairly defensible. This way.
As Sinclair began to lead them to a more defendable position, the Sith'ari replied to his apprentice.
Keep us protected. My men will be fine for the time being. Once we breach the spaceport, that may change, however.
Without saying a word, the Zabrak accepted an equipment pack from Kage as he exited the downed corvette. Tucking a datapad into the folds of his robes, the Sith shed his cloak and pulled on the pack. Normally, he wouldn't be carrying any gear, as there usually was no need for it. These weren't normal circumstances, however. Falling into step, the Zabrak summoned a fallen soldier's rifle to his hands, checked the power pack and proceeded to follow the group. Keeping a low profile was best, for the time being. Besides, until he was absolutely needed, he wanted to see just how well Luxeria and Vasari managed. Vasari's Battle Meditation would provide a nice advantage for them, though it would only remain as such if they could keep a low profile.

*Anzat - Outskirts of the Resurrection Crashsite*
Vasari watched as Luxeria's blade impaled the Anzat scout and he fell dead. The saber returned to its rightful place and the images that were playing through Vasari's head, the feelings that were arising within her breast faded almost instantly and she turned her glance to Viox, the true source of the Anzat's assault, but it didn't seem like he had any indication that he had even been touched by the assault. Vasari shook her head clearing the last of purple silk images from her mind and focused on her surroundings, she reached out with her mind further and further now that they had a point of advance - the ridge that the soldier spoke of. She raised her eyes to the west where the ridge would be and fell into the center of the group of soldiers right next to Viox, watching with curious eyes as her Sith Master called the blaster rifle to his hands checking it with tactical precision before moving along without a moments thought. She followed along wordlessly, her fingers still lightly gripping her saber-staff.
As their path began to incline she caught sight of the other two scouts moving towards them from behind. She called Kage's and Viox's links to the forefront of her mind and stopped rather abruptly turning around and reaching out with her senses towards the two remaining scouts that were moving behind them. A large party such as theirs would be easy to track, the two scouts needed to be dealt with - quickly - and so she needed to locate them. By now they must have discovered their fallen comrade and were likely to be more hesitant about their approach, but they couldn't hide from her. She closed her eyes and reached out further, specifically targeting what she had felt from the first scout to better find the other two. They were at the bottom of the hill, just beginning their trek upwards following their trail.
"The other two scouts... the bottom of the hill, approaching that clearing we just passed through."
No doubt the scouts would be hiding themselves quite well, but she hoped that Viox had a pair of sharp shooters that could find them knowing their location. The tilted her head towards her master and then a coy sort of smirk crossed her lips as she looked down at the rifle in her hands as if teasing "Are you any good with that?" before turning her head to look down the hill towards the clearing.

Luxeria nodded to Sinclair, following behind him as they made their trek. There would have a small window to recover and prepare for the trip. Once they had finished with the scouts, it wouldn’t be long before their silence would be noted, provoking the need to send out a patrol. They’d need to be on their way by then. As skilled as their enemy was, unless they chose to break their group and sneak around them for an ambush, they’d be a bit easier to plan for compared to a few individuals.
As they began moving up the hill, keeping her senses alert, she was directed to Vasari’s words. The other two scouts were closing in. Turning towards the direction she mentioned, she gave her orders. "Focus your attention to the clearing. We can’t afford to let any escape. Vasari, project their positions into our minds. The less time we need to line up shots and anticipate where they’re coming from, the better. Remember, our enemies are skilled predators and capable hunters. And this is their home; we are the prey. We must keep every advantage we have at our disposal." She knew the orders were clear and to the point, not actually needing to be said. But if she was going to be in charge, she needed to establish that position before they got to the point when she actually needed to direct, both her sake and those she was leading.
She wasn’t as concerned about the use of blasters this time around. The earlier attack gave them only on to deal with with two right behind him. Reduce the noise and avoid the reveal that they knew they were there for as long as possible and as much as they were capable, this why she activated her lightsaber at the last possible moment and deactivated it just as quickly. It was a game of cat a mouse right now and these mice would outsmart the cat.

Marching near the rear of the group, his senses warned him of the approaching threat seconds before Vasari verbally warned them. Spinning on his heel, dropping both his equipment pack and the Mk. II Paladin Blaster Rifle he had been holding, the Sith Lord extended both of his hands, palms facing outwards, away from himself. Invisible tendrils of the Force snaked outwards, in search of their mark. Eyes fluttering closed, the Sith gritted his teeth in anger, seeking his prey. Upon locating his mark, he turned his hands, palm facing up, and retracted his extended arms closer to his body. The sounds of snapping branches, rustling leaves and a faint gurgling could be heard as the two Anzati scouts appears, held by the Force, a few feet off the ground. Disheveled and struggling against the invisible resistance, Viox snarled angrily at them and barred his teeth at them.
"You are sorely out of your element, Anzati. You will find that I am not so easily hunted..."
Anger and annoyance flaring, the Zabrak clenched both fists. Both Anzati scouts writhed and squirmed in mid air as their insides were being crushed, screaming in complete agony. And finally, both scouts convulsed and a loud, sickening SNAP was heard. The bodies of the Anzati crumped limply to the ground as Savage released them, still glaring at them. After a few seconds, he spoke again as he retrieved his gear.
"We should continue onwards..."

Vasari rolled her eyes at the showy display her master performed, hoping to see something a little different out of him at this point. Regardless she turned from the two dead Anzati and continued her trek up the hill with the rest of the team. With the two remaining scouts taking out she dedicated her mind towards reaching out a little bit further, attempting to reach the spaceport with her thoughts... it would take more time, and a moment to focus and reorient herself before she could achieve the same level of awareness that she had of the mountain and the surroundings. Luxeria was right, they needed the advantage of surprise. She looked back over her shoulder wondering if the charges the soldiers had set at the downed ship would go off soon or if it was a trap of sorts for people following behind.
As they neared the summit Vasari was drawn to a stop. Over the bluff she could see a large dark cloud forming towards the east, the opposite direction of the Spaceport yes, but something significant was drawing her attention towards the mist. She stepped away from the group as the made the summit and crouched upon a rock looking out over the valley below at the mist. Her mind faulted for a moment and the majority of her attention was drawn away from the Battle meditation towards the mist. She knew they were in relative safety, there was a living being for at least a half mile in any direction that offered them any real threat, and something about the mist was demanding her attention... her focus. It felt alive. Her eyes narrowed as she relaxed her mind and dropped the pack from her shoulders to the ground. Her eyes finally closed completely and she reached out a hand towards the mist... still miles away.
"It feels... Alive..."

Luxeria watched as Viox displayed his flare of power over the Anzati. While not what she had in mind, it mattered little in the end. The scouts needed to be gotten rid of and Savage handled it himself with his own power. Once the crushed corpses fell to the ground, she turned at Viox's suggestion, leading the group to the top of the hill. Truth be told, he might have told her that she'd be in charge and he'd follow her commands unless he felt them foolish that could get others killed and hinder the mission, but she still figured he'd flow with this mission of his own desires. It didn't bother her in the least. If the Sith'ari opted to run straight into the middle of a group, she certainly wouldn't stop him, only ensure everyone else obeyed her and granted him support. With power like his, she guessed he didn't need the same level of care in forwarding the mission. But she'd still give the commands to all of them and see how things went from there.
Upon reaching the top, Luxeria set whatever she had grabbed to carry away from the wreckage and began looking out in all directions around her. They'd be given enough time to rest up and tend to any injuries before a quick briefing and their departure. She hoped that they had something to pull together some intel. It would be vital in moving forward.
Before she had the opportunity to seek out Viox, she heard Vasari speaking about the mist opposite the direction she felt the spaceport to be. Stepping up next to the Zabrak, she remembered the small bit of knowledge she gained about it. "The Anzati call it the 'Sea of Memory' or the 'Silent Voices'. By what Viox has been able to gain from the limited intelligence we currently have on it, ancient Anzati believe it to be the essence of their ancestors. But that's all we know. For now, it's best we avoid any of the mist we come across. There's no telling what it'll do to us or for our enemy." She let her gaze remain upon the mist for a while longer for it truly was a beautiful sight. Finally pulling her focus away from it after a few seconds, she looked back to her friend. "Get some rest and work on establishing a quick link for your Battle Meditation. Your presence will be vital moving forward." She let her eyes focus on the Zabrak for a moment, the shimmer of belief hanging there as if to let Vasari know that she was counting on her friend's aid before finally heading off.
Finding Viox, she hoped he'd have an answer. "Do we have equipment available that will allow us a solid briefing? Anything that can connect us to our reinforcements up top to give us a better idea of the current situation regarding the spaceport?" While it could be assumed that Rampant was always online when on any mission for this very purpose, she didn't recall hearing the Sith'ari acknowledge him or hear the A.I speak. For all she knew, Rampant wasremoved from this mission to further test her.

His typical display of power wasn't meant to impress anyone, as it was more him letting off some steam at being shot down. Regardless, once they had reached a suitable location to hunker down, the Sith'ari allowed the rest to do their job, while he separated from the group and collected his thoughts. Upon Luxeria's approach and subsequent questions, the Zabrak merely held up his hand-held holo-com. The image was merely static.
"We have the equipment, however that is not the issue...this...fog...its interference is like nothing I have ever encountered before..."
The Sith mused aloud, pocketing the holo-com.
"We are well and truly cut off for the time being. Grand Admiral Bennette will stick to the plan. Attain orbital superiority. Once achieved, she will begin search and retrieval protocols. If she is successful, the crashsite will be located. If she encounters any problems, such as the weapon that grounded us, she will secure an LZ a safe distance away from it's range, and proceed on foot. Given how successful we were in orbit, I'd estimate another twenty-four hours before Bennette makes landfall..."
Glancing back at the young human, the Zabrak merely observes her. It was definitely not the ideal situation. However, he was confident in Luxeria's abilities to handle it. The spaceport was the key. Even if the Anzati knew that they had been shot down, they wouldn't risk jeopardizing the safety and security of their ground operations to come hunt them down. And they were effectively cut off. But the unnatural fog around them would also serve to mask their presence. At least for the time being. But it also rendered them completely blind to anything beyond where they had chosen to camp. For now, they had to take their advantages where they could.

The young Zabrak had a difficult time drawing her eyes away from the mist that was slowly but steadily encroaching upon their position. It would take some time but soon this entire ridge would be covered in the mist, this 'Sea of Memory'. The very idea of it intrigued the young sorceress - the idea of ancestors spirits lingering to aide later generations was not an unknown one. Iridonia had many such beliefs as well, and while it would require too much of her focus to investigate this now, she had a feeling that they wouldn't be leaving here without coming into contact with these 'ancestors'. She pulled her eyes at last from the mist and turned her mind to what Luxeria had asked of her. Anchoring herself here would be relatively easy. She found a smooth surface on one of the rocks and sat herself in the center of it, pulling one of the books from her pack and opening it up somewhere in the center and began flipping through pages to find the linking ritual she had read about. If she could connect herself to the planet she could draw its own strength to increase the range of her battle meditation, perhaps even do more to influence the minds of those they were to fight against. She sank herself into a deep meditative trance, enough of her consciousness remaining to hear what was going on around her, but the majority of her mind dedicated itself to reaching into the planet, feeling the living force moving through the ground beneath her feet, followings the currents, the natural flow of the force. Generally the flow of the force sank inward towards the core - the heart of the planet, but in this case her mind was drawn back to the mist, the clouds. She was hesitant to breach the Sea of Memory, she could feel the power radiating from the mist, the power of the Force yes but there was a living presence that she felt, the mist seemed to be the soul of the planet - this unnerved her more than anything else - yet she steadied herself and opened her eyes.
"We are clear for the time being, I'll keep my mind on the boarder but I do not feel anyone near enough to pose any real threat."

Luxeria listened as the Sith'ari spoke of their current situation. It did little to encourage her in regards to the mission's preparations. But it was life and life wasn't always fair, especially on the battlefield. Taking a deep breath, she nodded in response. "I see. So we'll be approaching this blindly. Doesn't inspire the greatest level of confidence. Still, if we approach this properly, the most it'll do is slow us down, if that. Hopefully, things will go smoothly enough that we can have those defenses offline by the time they make landfall, if not have the spaceport under our control."
Giving him a small bow, she left him to his own thoughts and recovery as she moved towards the edge of the hill, gazing out upon the mist that was forming. It was quite the hindrance, despite its beauty. If it was doing this much to there equipment, there was no telling what would happen if they were caught up in it. She could only hope that they could stay out of it during their approach towards the spaceport. Nothing she did could plan for it, otherwise. Taking in another deep breath, she pushed the thought from her mind, knowing that all they could do was be ready should they become enveloped in it.
It was then she heard Vasari spoke, having come close to her once more. "Good. Keep us updated on the situation, but don't strain yourself. We need everyone at there best once we head out." She looked down to the Zabrak before finally turning away and heading to the other side of the hill, looking off in the direction of the spaceport. She let her mind think on what to do, what course of action to take. She certainly wasn't one for throwing men to the wolves just to achieve a mission. These men were valuable soldiers who served the Sith'ari with loyalty. While losses were expected, there was a fine point between falling in the line of duty and being put needlessly in harm's way. Doing so would bring her trial to failure, something she wasn't going to let happen.
She looked around the makeshift camp, trying to get a solid number of troops that had made it through the crash. She needed as much of the facts as she could get to formulate her plans. She had something in mind, something she felt would best aid them, but she had to make sure things could be done that way first.

As Luxeria took control of the situation and his men secured the ridge, the Sith'ari allowed his eyes to flutter closed as he extended his perceptions outwards, searching. Slowly filtering out the background noise of the planet itself, he began focusing on the spaceport. A powerful and devious foe seemed to be anticipating them. And they were hungry. Insatiably so. But beneath that there was tension. At this distance, however, he could not pinpoint why. But this being wanted them, that much was clear. Normally, that would be enough to have him through caution to the wind, however, he was still pissed about being shot down. So, once everything was planned out as best as it could be, he wanted to be front and center for the push towards the spaceport.
