A lambda Class shuttle dropped smoothly out of hyperspace. In the shuttle's cockpit the Miraluka pilot gave a small smile at the ease of their travel from the Outer Rim. He would never say it aloud, but it felt good to have Rygal, his Ryn co-pilot and best friend back. A lambda shuttle was meant to be flown by a crew of at least two, and the months Ga'ab had been flying by himself had been unenjoyable. If not for his connection to the force, he was almost certain that his missions on windswept worlds where the Lambda's fins acted like sails would have killed him. However while Ga'ab was happy that his friend had returned, Rygal was a shadow of his former self and he couldn't blame him. The highest highs gave way to the lowest lows... After Ga'ab and Rygal had freed the latter's clan from slavery, Rygal had led them across the galaxy to a new home that would be safe from the Tenloss Syndicate. In the midst of their jubilation they had been ruthlessly attacked by a horror of Ryn myth, the Yuuzhan Vong. In short order they had destroyed Rygal and his clan's ship and had begun slaughtering his people cabin-by-cabin. Rygal and all of the Ryn would have been killed or captured as sacrifices had it not been for the fortuitous arrival of his friend and the warship and squadrons of starfighters he had brought. While Ga'ab had managed to chase off the Vong, the damage had been done and Rygal had not been the same."We better open up a channel to their ships in orbit." Suggested Ga'ab. Rygal gave him a tired, yet quizzical look, or maybe it was simply a quizzacal look and his friend just looked tired. His fur was not as luxurious as it had once been and his once proud mustache looked wilted. Ga'ab raised his hands from the controls defensively. "I've had some trouble with them in the past, well not me, but an uncle of mine." He replied with a veiled reference to his progenitor's murder at the hands of Kaine Australis, and his battles with the Mandalorian known as The Wanderer. "Alright, if you say so." Rygal flicked the comm-switch and found a Mandalorian frequency. ::Concord Dawn, this is Lambda Class Shuttle Virtue-Ask. We're requesting landing coordinates to the best weaponsmith on the planet, if you'd be so kind as to oblige.::"And now we wait." Ga'ab would have kicked his boots onto the pilot's dashboard if he weren't worried about being target practice. He was ready to flick the shuttle to starboard and make a bee-line out of the gravity well. It hadn't even been his idea to go looking for Mandalorians, but Rygal suggested it and because it seemed to mean a lot to him, Ga'ab had consented. Rygal had told him about the lethality of Mandalorian weapons and had seemed hellbent on getting his furry paws on something big enough and loud enough to chase the nightmarish Vong away forever. Ga'ab had quietly wondered if he should speak to his friend about what had happened, but that was uncomfortable and Ga'ab decided it would be much easier to support his friend's single-minded quest for revenge.

Coincidentally, at the same time that Ga'ab and his crew arrived over Concord Dawn, a number of vessels exited hyperspace, from the planet of Mandalore. We're requesting landing coordinates to the best weaponsmith on the planet, if you'd be so kind as to oblige.:: The lead ship, a Cabur-class Cruiser Mark II, christened the Akaankal, would pick up the transmission from the Virtue-Ask. The weaponsmith you seek is the Aliit'ator of Clan Fett and Commander of the Mandalorian Protectors, Galaar Fett. The forward console began to flash with a red warning light and beep its accompanying alarm. "What's going on?" Asked Ga'ab as he jerked up in his seat and raced for the controls. Rygal was glancing at the display and offered a quick reply. "We've got multiple large ships coming in from hyperspace at our 7 o'clock high." The ship's scanners had detected massive shifts in real-space, indicating the imminent arrival of a ship out of hyperspace. "Here they come." Said Ga'ab through clenched teeth, he still wasn't sure if they should be running. Moments later a fleet of mandalorian warships dropped out of hyperspace, supplementing those already in orbit. Ga'ab gave a low whistle. "That's a lot of ships." "The Vong would think twice before attacking one of those." Said Rygal darkly as he looked over the scanner reports of the warship's weaponry. Before Ga'ab could respond the comm-system crackled with static. The transmission stabilized and an authoritative voice gave them permission to land and instructions to Jai'galaar spaceport.
Ga'ab and Rygal angled the shuttle towards the planet and engaged the ship's sublight thrusters.

The Coalition was fairly diplomatically isolated. While it was on good terms with many smaller planetary governments, it had few strong allies and many enemies. As Foreign Minister, Senator Salvor Argon sought to change this fact. Particularly following the incursions of Clan Australis into Coalition territory, the Mandalorian clans seemed like a useful potential partner. Given the structure of the Assembly, it was decided that approaching the Clans individually would be the most effective way of lobbying for support.
The first stop on Salvor's planned tour of negotiations was Clan Fett. The CR90 Corvette Hadrian dropped out of hyperspace and approached Concord Dawn. Galaar Fett was expecting him.
"Hadrian to Concord Dawn. We are carrying Minister Argon and requesting permission to approach and land," Captain Ella Jartik, the ship's commanding officer requested.

"Hadrian to Concord Dawn. We are carrying Minister Argon and requesting permission to approach and land," Captain Ella Jartik, the ship's commanding officer requested. One of the orbiting vessels of the Akaankal Command received the transmission from the visiting Coalition vessel. A Teroch-class Heavy Frigate, designated 'Ultimate Sun', was the one who received the communication. It was odd for a Coalition diplomat to reach out to them, but their Aliit'alor, Legate Galaar Fett, accepted the intention of the visit and ensured the planetary security and his fleet were made aware. Thus, the Captain of the Ultimate Sun replied.=Teroch Captain= Vessel, Hadrian, this is the Captain of the Ultimate Sun. Your visit is expected. Clearance has been granted and coordinates sent. An escort will be awaiting you at Jai'galaar's spaceport. You will be meeting the Aliit'alor at the Mess Hall. Ultimate Sun, out.The transmission ended and the ship went back to its patrol.

*A common, commercial-class transport ship often seen in the mid-rim territories, requests clearance to land. Once the port official authorizes their unique landing code and confirms their communications frequency, the ship begins its final approach planet-side. Arriving within the orbit of Concord Dawn, a Pelta-class frigate, hailing from imperial space would meet up with the local Mandalorian fleet, delivering a message. While the freighter ship itself lacked the traditional markings of the First Order, an alterated version of the logo could be spotted on the hulls, indicated that it was an affiliated force. Upon review of the holo message that the captain of the ship wished to deliver before announcing his return back to imperial space, those that would review it would see the image of Director Padrea Malachai on the display, dressed in a formal uniform.
::Greetings honored warriors of Clan Fett,
I am Director Padrea Malachai from the Hesperidium Institute of Cloning. While you might or might not have heard of our scientific organisation, we are certain that there needs to be no further explanation regarding our field of research and the history of our facility. Thus we would like to rather skip this part ahead in order to come to the reason of our invitation towards you: With the legendary progenitor of the Republic's Clone Army hailing from your clan, marking the beginning of the largest professional army of scientifically-created individuals, the galaxy had ever seen and his tutorage, the Hesperidium Institute might require the help of Mandalore's children in a similiar matter, given that there are only few martial cultures and their expertise in battle, that rival the efficiency of your people. By the time you have recieved this message, I will be en route towards the Agamar system, since we would like to hold a meeting on neutral ground for the reasons of transperency and as a sign of good will. HI-C does act on imperial fundings, but isn't directly acting under the imperial army's command and thus we have chosen a civil hotel building for the meeting point itself, located outside of the Imperial District: The Krayt's Pearl, conference room 6-B. If Clan Fett isn't interested within our offer, feel free to either to inform us via a message on Agamar or to ignore this message. In either way we hope that our offer has peaked your curiousity and that we might meet in person. It would be a great honor for myself as well.
End of transmission, Malachai out.::
With that the transmission would fade out, marking the end of the delivered message.

A pair of ships exit hyperspace near Concord Dawn, coming in slowly towards a planetary orbit. The two vessels could not be more different, a near spherical Hodasal-class freighter, and a hulking, powerful looking battleship. The former, named Wayfarer, was there to transport the Alor-Class battleship's skeleton crew back to Mandalore. The battleship, named Vhett, was a gift for the aliit of the same name, provided by Clan Australis, MandalArms and MandalMotors. In time, each Clan would be offered one of the Alor-class ships for their own, but this was the first.::Battleship Fett to Concord Dawn. We bring greetings from Manda'yaim.:: Said the Rodian, Gordo Australis who was on the bridge of the Alor-Class. He'd hand over to the locals when they took possession of their new ship, just functioning as the custodian and responsible for delivering the new capital ship to her new owners.

At first, orbital security wasn't sure about this ship. It was an entirely new class, after all, but it's IFF showed it to be of Mandalorian registration. Utilizing the archives at their disposal, they found new entries, in the Assembly databanks, put there by Clan Australis. As the new data flooded in for their inspection, the news was relayed to the Aliit'ator on the surface, who was, as usual, training his men. It would take some time, but authorization was given to orbital security to respond.
=Security Officer= Battleship Fett, the Aliit'ator welcomes you to Concord Dawn. He will be arriving at your vessel shortly.
And, not long after, a shuttle was detected, coming up from the planet's surface, escorted by a few Beskad-class Starfighters. As the battleship came more into the viewport, Galaar did lean for a better look, gazing at the oddly shaped vessel. It reminded him of a Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser, but extensions along the flanks. One of his technicians reviewed the data that they had found on the Alor-class and told his Aliit'ator about some of details noticed.
Eventually, the small formation landed in one of the hangar bays, where Galaar, a squad of his Protectors, and other notables of the clan, exited and gazed up at the expansive and long hangar bay. The inside was rather well lit and seemed to designed to withstand punishment. But that was Mandalorian engineering: ugly, but tough. Galaar ventured around a bit, looking at the areas where starfighters would be housed. Although, the Mandalorian did keep to the hangar bay area so that whoever was commanding this vessel would be able to find him.

The ship commed back to Concord Dawn.Confirmed, standing by to recieve the Alor.Once the shuttle was making its approach, Captain Gordo Australis, the rodian in caretaker command of the Battleship Vhett, left the command bridge and headed for the main hangar to greet the Fett Alor Galaar Vhett The hangar itself was fairly deserted, like most of the ship, set up for a decent size crew, Gordo was operating with a skeleton crew, just enough to get the vessel to her destination. The Rodian came in via the main access corridor, and immediately spotted the Fett chieftain with his honour guard. There was no parade, fanfare, or even salutes, this being an informal occasion. Gordo made his way across to the Alor slowly, keeping his hands in plain sight, and halting a pace away, his eyes on Galaar. It's my duty to turn over command and control of the ship at this time, sir. Said the Rodian, holding out a code cylinder which provided override access to the entire ship's command systems. The new owners could purge the system, or set it up to their own liking, as they would also need to fit out the ship with their own crew and officers. She's a fine ship, and she'll need a crew, though we've topped off her fuel tanks and filled the ammunition for you. He smiled, holding out the access code cylinder.

Galaar looked at the Rodian who approached him, the one that was identified as Gordo Australis. The Alor's eyebrow went up slightly at the words of Gordo and the offering of the code cylinder to the Legate. This ship was built for his usage? It did somewhat surprise him as he never expected this. At first, he wondered if Clan Australis was paying a visit, considering their heightened military activity at Mandalore. Calmly, Galaar takes the code cylinder into his hand.
A battleship for my usage? Never expected this.
Fett remarks as he holds onto the cylinder. His eyes look around the empty hangar bay once more before turning to Gordo.
Although I am most thankful for this, why the gift to Clan Fett?
Naturally, he was curious, not so much suspicious.

Gordo gave up the code cylinder with a great deal of relief that he tried not to let show. His responsibilities had been successfully concluded, and he'd placed the ownership into the hands of Clan Fett as he'd been ordered. Trying not to visibly relax, he met Galaar's eyes when he spoke. When the Alor-Class was first laid down, our chief, Kaine, ordered that one be produced for each of the Clans of Mandalore. It's his hope that by making each clan stronger, we gain strength as a whole people. Gordo lowered his voice so it wouldn't carry beyond the Fett chieftain. If you ask me, unofficially, I think the Old Boar wants to keep good relations with the other Clans. He's never been much good with words, so he thought a gift fit for a Clan might suit better. The Rodian wasn't in disagreement with Kaine's methods or his decisions, just that all of Clan Australis knew their chief was no diplomat or negotiator, and really wasn't good at anything other than fighting or preparing to fight. In this, though, they figured Kaine had gotten it right. Some distance away, a transport landed in the hangar, and Australis personnel began to come in from all over the ship, making ready to leave.
Gordo waited to see if Galaar Vhett had any requests or instructions for him before being dismissed. He was ordered to put himself at the Fetts' disposal until they were satisfied with their new Battleship. He'd happily give Galaar the tour, or get back to his work and let the other Clan explore their new ship. He was just happy to have handed over control of the new ship successfully. He hoped all the other clans accepted as graciously, it would certainly do some good to repair the reputation of Clan Australis as mindless uncaring barbarians.

What the Rodian said was likely true. Given the record of Kaine Australis, he was the very definition of a war dog. He came from a different era, belonged to a different time when the Mandalorians were more warlike and the clans far more competitive. During a time when the Mand'alors were strong warriors themselves and had a leaning towards war more so than peace. It wasn't to say that this era of Mandalorians was complacent or peace-lovers, but they did understand the lessons of before and sought to pick and choose their fights better. They'd rather preserve the Mandalorian planets than risk damage to them. However, if a Mand'alor rose the banner for battle, whether for offensive or defensive purposes, the clans would not shirk from their duties and proceed to rally their brothers and sisters for battle.
It can be hard to change with the times. It took me awhile to switch gears from being a bounty hunter to that of a clan's leader.
Clasping the code cylinder in his hand, Galaar looks up at the hangar bay and around the rather open space. He'd likely spend a lot of time trying to learn of this new vessel, considering one could even see that the paint had only freshly settled if they had the right eye. The Alor turns to one of his notables.
Bring over some crews from the Akaankal and Shadowborn. And have our specialists look through the reserve rosters for capable personnel to fill in the crew for the Vhett. We got a lot of homework to do now it seems.
The Mandalorian nods and proceeds to return to the shuttle. The fleet was going to be reconfigured now. Galaar then turns to Gordo afterward.
Give my thanks to your Alor. If you could, I'd like you to show me to the bridge and where I can access all the information I need to understand this warship.

Gordo nodded. He was just fine with showing off the marvel that was the Alor-Class Battleship. He'd spent weeks aboard this ship since she had launched from the yards above Manda'yaim, and seen her through space trials, engine trials, weapons trials, and finally her run out to Concord Dawn. He waved the Fett Alor along with him, and talked as he walked.Right this way. The hangars like most of the ship aren't much to look at, but they get the job done. There are two main hangars located port and starboard. The bridge is central and forward. The bridge was located inside the massive ship, surrounded by armoured blast doors which opened and closed to allow the party through. Gordo led the way into the spherical chamber, which consisted of command consoles, viewscreens and monitors, as well as a planning table, holodisplays and a mezzanine walkway overlooking the bridge and strategium. From here, you have access to the entire ship. We're in about the best protected section of the ship here, so an enemy will have a hard time taking out the bridge.Gordo pointed to systems displays which showed a breakdown of the vessel's compartments. He pointed to each in turn. The entire ship is armoured and constructed in sections. Each section has its own power, gravity, life support, and backup batteries. Each section can be sealed off, and even function for up to 24 hours, even if it's separated from the rest of the ship. Both hangars can fully retract into the main hull for maximum protection.
Main power is provided by a high-output Isotope 5 reactor, which has considerable backup distribution systems. These redundant conduits ensure the shields and engines will be able to function, even if the ship takes heavy damage. All ship sections are heavily shielded in addition to the formidable hull armour plating.
There are large cargo storage areas primarily used for ammunition, which are linked via automated distribution corridors to the missile and flak batteries. These corridors ensure a constant flow of resupply to the ship's weapons. The missile batteries can be loaded with a wide variety of munitions.
At the base of the ship are the drop pod launch tubes which can quickly deploy a large ground force, which can be provided with fire support by the ship's own guns and the fighters and strike craft from the port and starboard hangars. He paused to let the information sink in and for Galaar Vhett to take his time looking over the ship's status displays. There was a lot to take in, the Alor-Class was a mighty ship. She was built to be tough and to deliver colossal firepower onto target. There might be many questions, and Gordo would do his best to answer them.

Galaar remained silent as Gordo went over details of the Alor-class Battleship. Upon the bridge, the Mandalorian and those with him went about examining the consoles and technology that was put into the vessel. The leader himself moved to the center framework of the bridge, following Gordo as he explained this and that. It was an ugly ship, but it was robust and could do its intended duty as a flagship in the heat of battle.
Coming to a stop, he paused to look at the displays that were lit up, allowing a moment for Fett to look at some details. The Legate turned to one of those with him, one of the commanders within the clan's navy. He gestures to the displays.
Bring in a team of technicians to review the states and details. I want this ship running with us as soon as possible.
A lot to learn, a lot to understand. The Alor-class was to take a central role and Galaar wanted a top team to get it running.
Seems like a sound vessel. Hopefully it will prove its worth soon enough.
The Mandalorian remarks to Gordo as he now leans on the table that was the holodisplay.
I will ensure she doesn't become just a floating hulk of rust over Concord Dawn.

Gordo nodded solemnly at Galaar's promise. He didn't expect the Fetts to let their new ship down, and the Alor-Class would never let them down. She was a tough ship, with extensive firepower at her command. Really more of a mobile battlestation than a star destroyer, she could lead a battle line or tear apart a blockade with equal ease.
Function over form, Alor.
Said Gordo, standing beside the holotable. From here a small command crew could oversee the ship's operations, though the command center could suit many more at need. The ship was built with multiple backups of everything, to make her harder to disable and destroy.
She's not fast or agile, but she'll punch above her weight class, and she can absorb a colossal amount of punishment without ever letting you down.
He had already accepted a position aboard the sister ship Australis, now already in service with his Clan's space forces. Perhaps one day he'd rise to a true command, having shown his worth as both caretaker and diplomatic envoy. Gordo mused on this while he watched the Fetts look over their new ship.

Galaar turns on the holodisplay, allowing him to see the full vessel from the outside.
Function over form... the very doctrine of the Mandalorian Naval assets.
The Aliit'alor comments as he gazes over the vessel's holoimage. They weren't pretty ships, like those of the Hapans or Mon Calamari, but they did their purpose of making holes, bearing the brunt of battle, and punching right back with ample ferocity. The naval program, that followed of the formation of the Mandalorian Assembly, had proven it's ability to pursue expansion and defend Mandalorian territories.
Well... I suspect you have other clans to contact and more work for your Alor to do.
Galaar turns off the holodisplay and turns to Gordo.
Give my regards to your chief and I hope the Fetts who joined him are prospering well under his command.

A small flotilla emerged from hyperspace over the skies of Concord Dawn. At the center of the formation was the Victores, a Venator-class Star Destroyer refitted to be the very peak of what its ancient design could do. Surrounding the vessel was a Crusader-class corvette - the Dush Dala - and two M22-Krayt gunships. The Star Destroyer's top parted, sliding down two gigantic plates of durasteel and doonium, revealing the massive hangar bay along the ship's spine. From within, a patrol of twenty-four V-Wings flew out, skimming bravely over the plate ridges and around bulbous point defense guns, before settling into a passive patrol route, extending around ten thousand meters from the capital ship. Dice, the bridge crew and the captain's new advisor, Ver'alor Fionnuala Priest, gazed solemnly out from the bridge's window upon the lightly shaded world. Splotches of dark jungle green, large flowing ocean rivers, and vast fields of brush and dry growth blanketed the world, and the clone captain couldn't help but remember another world, just like this one, he and his men had fought on. Estere, some backwater outer rim world that produced a modest amount of food and a hardy population. He never got to see its towns in their lively peaks, like how the locals described them. What he did see was burnt out stores, homesteads made perilous breaching operations and roads crushed under the weight of a thousand droid footsteps. These things hadn't ever bothered Dice before, when the war was still burning the galaxy, when the Republic still needed the best from its troops as they fought to preserve the democratic order which had kept the galaxy safe for a thousand generations. The fake peace had forced his guard down, erecting new emotional barriers as others crumbled. But he did have a war to win. People to save. A nation needing the best of his men. "Alright, Fionnuala. The comm-suite is yours. Call who you want - we should have enough room for a few hundred more, more if it comes to it. For prudence's sake, I'll have Fifth Company and the Jump Troopers prepped and ready in case we're the ones doing some saving." Harini Bralor

Buf was as busy as ever down in the galley, cooking food, putting on small performances for this in the galley, and working hard to train up those who had become his "staff". The truth of the matter was, he was merely a guest here, with everyone else formally reporting up the Clone chain of command. But his infectious nature had managed to catch and he helped all of the kitchen staff to find subtle ways to improve, since the aim of the game was mass food production for quite a large crew and passenger list.
He still kept working, even as the Victores' movements seemed to suggest they had arrived at their first destination. Fionnuala had made him promise to try and stay in the kitchen, and he would do his best to hold to that. While the others were away, he would be busy cooking and preparing travel meal kits. MRE's were fine and all, but Buf had no intention of simply letting the Clones waste away on them
