JENSAARAI MISSION TO MESTARE!
Principal Authors: (Xeonon Solomon, Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh) Who can post on this thread: (Any Jensaarai and those invited) I want to receive critical responses: (Yes) I will be using standard Universe rules here (Yes)
Location: Mestare, Abandoned Jedi Temple
Timeframe: Roughly 8 months after the Battle of the Empire of Edjedha versus Darth Nexus on Contruum
An adventure featuring individuals from the New Order of the Jensaarai, on their mission to Mestare.
Practically forgotten. Rumor is that the planet is home to unique lightsaber crystals that grant the weapons immunity to the effects of cortosis. Such powerful crystals would be wonderful for our order to have in storage, just in case if we'd ever have to deal with enemies who's use of cortosis is large for their forces. I don't have much information on this planet except the old order of the Jedi used to station of their own there. Still, getting at least three to four crystals would be a great success for our order.

Mestare, a planet so steeped in mystery and rumor it was thought to have been a fable. Something made up by way ward pilots claiming to have an ancient hyperspace map that lead there. The only way to get the map was through an exuberant amount of money, booze or sex. As such no one believed in this world. Thankfully though the Jedi had kept records going back to time unknown. Xeonon having searched the stolen records of the Jedi thought it fruitless but after consulting a Jedi known as Diamonte he knew better. Getting the location he made his way there to meet his Jensaarai friends.
His ship dropping out of the swirling mess that is hyperspace Xeonon dropped into the black void of real space. Below him a planet just as he was told. As he waited for the others to arrive he did some preliminary scans of the planet. Mountains. Lots of them, and very little life signatures. Oh there were some of course but no signs of civilization or any sentient dwellings. Of course that just fit the myth, all the ancient Jedi having been killed off during order 66. The Empire coming here to eradicate a threat to their great empire. Of course none of them survived so the story goes but Xeonon couldnt confirm this. It was lost after the First Galactic Empire collapsed.
Dressed in his fancy armour he waited for them to show their faces. Frankly he was surprised he made it here first, the Deep Core hyperlanes proved to be a bitch to navigate. However he had made excellent time on the Corriliean rune.

The void of empty Space around Mestare crackled to life as a modified (hyperdrive retrofitted) matt black Sorosuub Cutlass-9 Fighter dropped out of hyperspace. Venku did a quick scan and found almost nothing, no lifesigns, no ships, apart from one that is. He couldn't sense Garwig or any of the other Jensaarai he knew so guessed it was probably Xeonon Solomon a friend of the Jensaarai Venku knew was also coming, the Zeltron commed the ship.
== Panacea to Imperial ship. Guess I lost the race to get here first! ==

Dressed in his fancy armour he waited for them to show their faces. Frankly he was surprised he made it here first, the Deep Core hyperlanes proved to be a bitch to navigate. However he had made excellent time on the Corriliean rune. Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away... (Or rather on a website server)
JEDIVSITH Starting singing the Star Wars theme, "Duh, dun dun dun. dah dun dun dah dun dun... SPECIAL EPISODE: MISSION TO MESTARE
Crystal quest! After finding out information concerning the existence of a planet where rare crystals grant lightsabers immunity to the effects of cortosis, both the Jensaarai known as Garwig, and the Imperial Knight known as Xeonon organize a joint mission to the forgotten planet to discover their lost crystal mines. Determined to find themselves the crystals and bring a few of them to their respective Force sects, both the Imperial Knights as well as the Jensaarai now head together to the planet of Mestare. Little do they know though, an agent of the Dark side awaits them on the planet...=Garwig and his Jensaarai mission volunteers= Arriving out of hyperspace and entering into real space within the orbit of Mestare, the Horizon-class star yacht known as the "Utnapishtim II" ceased it's engines as it's owner, Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh, began looking on his radar for the ships belonging to some of those who volunteered to take part in the mission. Taking a brief moment to look over at the co-pilot seat to see Lynda Jarvio sitting there."Looks like we're arrived at Mestare." =Lynda Jarvio= "Finally. I was starting to doubt it's existence a little while there." =Scarlet Croatia= "I was confident we'd find it. Just had doubts if the Corellian run would be the best route to get there..." Scarlet said behind Lynda. Next to the Epicanthix was the Zeltron woman known as Mieka.=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= "Mieka, mind going into the crew quarters and check on Yumiko? Tell her we've arrived at our destination." =Mieka Reye= "Understood, Saarai-kaar." The Zeltron lady said to her former master, then got out of her seat to head on over to the crew quarters. Of the many Jensaarai at the temple, Garwig himself only ordered the four tararsaarai ladies he himself once taught in the Jensaarai ways long ago to accompany him on this mission. All others were invited too, though he told those ranked tyrosaarai within the order that it be best they remain at the temple. Little was known of Mestare, therefore bringing mere initiates on the quest felt too dangerous to Garwig. Of those he personally taught, only Zan remained at the temple. The duinuogwuin helping to keep an eye on things at the temple while the others who participated on the mission did their thing.=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Spotting the ship that Solomon used on his radar, Garwig began to adjust his subspace radio to get a read on his friend's frequency. As a connection was starting to form, the Saarai-kaar pressed the button on the star yacht's comlink.:: Xeonon Solomon, this is Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh, Saarai-kaar of the New Order of the Jensaarai onboard the Utnapishtim II. Do you read me? ::=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= At the same time as that, Garwig also noticed on the radar what looked to be Venku starship, the Panacea. Trying to get a read of his fellow Jensaarai's ship frequency, Garwig also contacted Venku.:: Lord Venku, this is the Saarai-kaar. Do you read me? This is Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh. Over. ::

The Zeltron was looking forward to this mission, he had been missing, presumed dead for over five years and had recently returned to the Jensaarai on Contruum. He had been on a sojourn into the Force itself and reappeared with a new perspective on the Force, he had turned his back on the Sith on a quest to surpass the desire for things like power and knowledge and now discover the hidden facets of cosmic energy that construct life itself. Flicking switches and monitoring readouts Venku's display bleeted an alert of a ship coming out of Hyperspace, he looked to port and recognised the Jensaarai ship. :: Acknowledged Saarai-kaar, welcome to the party! Enbilulu Ishum's coordinates helped but this place is certainly not easy to find. over ::

I almost thought I made a wrong left turn at Albuquerque for a minute there. ::He said. Referencing something that he heard the Zhealor say to him once. He didn't completely understand what it meant, as he didn't know what a Albuquerque was, but it sounded appropriate. After speaking to Venku over the communications system of the star yacht, Garwig tried to speak again to Xeonon Solomon by trying to find his ship's contact frequency.:: Xeonon, this is Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh, the Saarai-kaar of the Jensaarai order. It seemed he had strained the ship to hard, or maybe there were external forces that just decided to screw with him. Either way he was able to receive the messages but for a few seconds he was unable to reply as he drifted through space. Doing a quick restart of the systems the problem was fixed. Sorry looks like the comms station isnt the only thing not working that is of Imperial make. I read you loud and clear, Saarai Karr and yes looks like you guys lost the race. Whats the plan? As he did this Xeonon stood up and stretched. It had been a long weeks cooped in inside his ship with not much else to do but pilot and drive.

We'll find a clear area to land our ships and make our way to the mines. Hopefully we shouldn't have too much trouble in doing any of that. ::The Saarai-kaar said on the comlink and looked at the tararsaarai women he had in the back at the cockpit. Smiling at them, he heard them giggle and turned back to speak again to Xeonon.:: You by yourself, Xeonon? Or will other knights be joining us? ::

Venku clicked his comm in acknowledgement to the plan rather than reply and risk interrupting Xeonon. He fired up the Panacea's actuators and listed slightly until he was set on the mission coordinates. He started the slow decent into the planets atmosphere constantly scanning for life signatures.

While Xeonons hands were moving almost in a blur to send the coordinates to both Venku and Garwig he couldn't help but chuckle. What are my good looks not good enough for you guys? No its just me on this one, I dont want to spread word of this planets existence around. Dont want to many threats. Call him paranoid but Xeonon really did not want anyone else out there that could cut through their Cortosis. As much as he trusted his knights in combat he knew how loose a tounge got when you get a few pints in you. Keeping this one pretty close to myself.
No longer leaning over the command table but sitting in the chair he began to fly a little faster towards the planet. The scans indicate a large amount of life signs close to the cooridinates I just beamed over, mayhaps we should go check it out while we are there. Maybe we wont have to go digging in the dirt and the Jedi that once lived here left behind some crystals easy to get.

Let's go investigate these life signs on our scanners. If anything, it might be a small mining village. A good place to talk to the locals regarding the mines I reckon. ::He told Xeonon, then heard Venku over the comm.:: Negative, Venku. Information concerning this planet is harder to find these days than getting a Mandalorian blacksmith to make you equipment made of beskar. We're lucky enough that we managed to find the coordinates to Mestare as it is. ::The Saarai-kaar said over the comlink as the star yacht neared the location the scanners showed life readings at.

With a dusty gust of detritus whipped up by The Panacea's repulsors, Venku set the Fighter down about a mile to the East of the life signatures which were coming from what looked like some sort of abandoned mining settlement or homestead. It didn't look like there was much to farm here, although no desert the landscape was arid, dusty and full of unforgiving rocks.
To the West and North of the settlement were almost sheer cliff faces leading to a more mountainous region. There were caves and pathways carved into the cliff faces often too square to be natural. The Zeltron was also getting strange readings from the rocky cliffs, not life-signs but some sort of abnormality. He had a bad feeling about this.
He checked the environmental scan before popping the hatch to his fighter. Bright daylight flooded his eyes no longer protected by the blast shield of his cockpit, the air matched the environment arid and stale, He pulled himself out and sat on top of the black fighter looking into the sky for his colleagues as superheated metal within his ship clicked and whirred as it cooled down around him.

Touching down a a few seconds after the sexy man beast of a Zeltron. His own shuttle spitting up dirt and debris in all directions. Pressing the big red button the unnamed craft the little walk way opened up with a his of steam. Walking down the craft the cape fluttering slightly in the breeze his eyes adjusted almost immediately, the cybernetic blue eyes dimming the light intake while keeping the same high definition of normalcy.
Scanning the area around them he almost scoffed. This planet, or at least this part of it looked dead. No real Flora to speak of, a few shrubs here and there. The heat of the mid day sun beat down on him, or maybe it was just the metal of the ship beside him. Not much to look at is it? Xeonon was the head of a galactic spanning mining company. He recognized the obvious planning of a mining settlement. Sure it was a hundred years old, but planning hasn't changed that much. He could see the crew quarters, storage facilities and admin building. Guess we should wait for Garwig and the others before we go exploring eh?

Figuring it was perhaps a decent spot to land their ships, Garwig piloted the star yacht nearby the starship. Himself noticing Xeonon Solomon 's shuttle there too as he activated the ship's landing legs. Touching down onto the ground, the Saarai-kaar got out of his pilot seat and spoke to the girls in the cockpit with him."Ok, let's head on out and meet with the others." The tararsaarai women nodding to him, Garwig and his party then made their way through the ship's main corridor to head to it's boarding ramp. Pressing the nearby control panel to lower the ramp, the Saarai-kaar alongside Lynda, Yumiko, Mieka, and Scarlet exited the yacht. Garwig himself noticing how barren the landscape was as it seemed to contain little to no greenery. It almost made the place seem lifeless and had the Saarai-kaar thinking twice on whether or not to establish a temple at the planet.
Noticing both Venku and Xeonon nearby, Garwig alongside his four tararsaarai from the Jensaarai order approached the fine gentlemen."Hey there guys, sorry if we kept you waiting. Is there something the matter?" He asked as the four women nearby stood nearby. Lynda the Hapan folding her arms to her back as she listened to the conversation, as Yumiko the zabrak had her hands on the sides of her hips. Scarlet the Epicanthix was folding her arms to her chest, while Mieka the zeltron looked at an nearby shrub as she wondered if she should get a sample of it for analysis.

Garwig's yacht broke through the clouds interrupting Venku before he could answer the ‘hunky’ Imperial’s question. He jumped down from his fighter and pulled up the black hood of his robe to protect his colourful skin from the sun.
His arms crossed, he watched the Saarai-kaar approach with his retinue of women behind him. The Zeltron, ever the ladies’ man, enjoyed the spectacle and nodded to all the Tararsaarai in turn.
“Greetings. Life-signs are coming from the settlement but I couldn’t see any activity and something is jamming us from those cliffs.” Venku pointed to the West cliffs past the settlement.
“Could be a natural phenomenon, if not its technology that doesn’t sit right here.”

He is right, there is something odd about this. Look at the ground flicking his head towards the settlement the buildings are in disrepair and there is no obvious signs of movement. No tracks. Yet the scanners are picking up a large amount of life signs. Rubbing the back of his neck Xeonon thought for a few seconds, racking his brain for any type of metal that would do this. Some sort of explanation but only one came remotely close. There is something called the Mess... no the Meissner effect. Something to do with super conducting metals and magnetism which could throw off our sensors. This is different, the scanners on all our ships assuming the yacht showed the same thing are showing the same thing. Either way we should check this place out, it might give us some clues were we should look for these Mestare crystals if they even exist.

As Xeonon was talking Venku went round to the rear of the black Cutlass-9 and opened a large storage hatch. He levitated four large metallic cubes from the small cargo space and set them down on the dusty floor in front of his comrades. The cubes looked like they were made from an array of smaller shapes geometrically arranged in such an exact manner.
The Zeltron depressed a hidden button on the top of each cube and the silver boxes started to unfurl. A protrusion emerged from the front of them and split into 'T' shape handlebars while the tops where Venku pressed the buttons slid back to a seat big enough for two extended on another pole. The boxes continued to reveal more and more metallic struts as the bottom of each opened up forming foot-pegs and pedals until they didn't resemble boxes at all anymore. The vehicles continued to unfold to an almost impossible new size until the repulsor engines activated and they all lifted from the ground just a few inches.
"Two seats, Nought to a one hundred in two seconds, resistant to a 50 kiloton impact, each one has a V15-LA light repulsor drive and enjoys almost completely silent running, the perfect short distance, quick infiltration vehicle... Introducing the V15 Compact disposable Swoop Bike!" The Zeltron theatrically introduced as he walked round the first bike to unfold with arms spread like a second hand Speeder salesman on a HoloNet commercial. He jumped onto the first bike.
"You will all need to share. Well... what are we waiting for!?" He shouted as he kicked the bike into a quick spin and sped off towards the settlement.

I just hope the locals are friendly. Given that this planet is almost forgotten in the galaxy, the locals might not be used to seeing strangers from other planets visit them." He said to his dear friend, Xeonon. Then he noticed Venku reveal the swoop bikes he brought for the mission. Just as the Jensaarai went over to one of the swoop bikes to inspect it, he then noticed Venku speed off in the bike he had chosen."That Venku sure is energetic." The Saarai-kaar chuckled, then got onto one of the swoop bikes. As he sat in it's front seat, the Epicanthix known as Scarlet got behind him and sat in the back seat. Holding onto him from behind as she spoke to him.=Scarlet Croatia= "I'll ride with you, Saarai-kaar. I'll hold on tight." =Mieka Rugiz & Yumiko Kikuchia= As Garwig got onto his bike, the Zeltron girl named Mieka got onto the front seat of an available swoop bike while the zabrak lady Yumiko got into the backseat. As soon as the both of them got into their seats, their swoop bike shot off like a rocket and followed Venku to the settlement.=Lynda Jarvio= Walking over to Xeonon, the beautiful Hapan with long blonde hair and blue eyes, named Lynda, looked to the Imperial Knight and talked to him."Mind if I ride with you, Xeonon? You look like a trustworthy man who can handle a bike really well." She winked and got into the backseat. As she waited for Xeonon to get into the swoop bike, she noticed Garwig and Scarlet in their swoop bike speed off to follow the others.

Xeonon was really tempted to make a quip at her. It wasn't to often he got the chance to joke around with people who were not in his order. Instead he followed her on jumped in the front of the vehicle. It was something he had not used before and as such Xeonon took a few moments to get himself familiar with the controls. Finally after turning a few nobs and twisting a few doo hickeys he realized this was similar to many other speeders he had been on before. Hold on tight sweety. With that Xeonon pushed down with clutch and pulled back on the right handle. Twisting it rather, he did not open it right up just to be safe, instead he went half that speed. So sweet cheeks while we are driving, what made you interested in joining the Jennies?
