Lakehouse - Pool
Elikapeka presses herself up closer to Delaana's side with a happy smile when Delaana agrees with her dinner proposal, her smile becoming kittenish as she looks at Delaana and purrs, "All mine, my Ceesi? Mmmm, I like the sound of that. Her smile and playfully flirtatious manner suddenly wilting as she remembers that she will not exactly have Delaana to herself, Elika frowns as she groans and then says apologetically, Actually, my Ceesi, I wouldn't have you to myself after all. Her free hand lifting to massage her temple, her thumb keeping her sleeve from riding down, Elika says, Franz would be there too, since he's my, Elika laughs without any true amusement since the idea she needs such protection seems no less ridiculous to her now than it did last night when she had brought the subject up with Andros in an attempt to have the whole situation brought to an end, bodyguard at the moment. The slightest hint of annoyance entering her tone as Elika's frustration with the situation resurfaces and she tells herself that the no drama clause means she will need to keep her irritation to herself, Elika says, I'm working on changing that whole situation though. Shaking her head and trying to set her frustration aside, Elika smiles and suggests, Anyway, how about we go the traditional go out to a restaurant route tomorrow night?" That way, Elika thinks, at least Franz won't be quite as obviously an additional presence, and she knows that, at least for her part, she will feel a lot less like she is under observation in a public setting than she would elsewhere even though being in public entails its own unique trials for Elika.
Laughing when Delaana says that she has the feeling that the day is about to get even more crazy than it would after Lily and Ali's laughter reveals that the two will probably not only get along well, but will also more likely than not feed off of one another, Elika nods and says, "I don't think you're wrong, my Cessi."

Lakehouse
Just when he was about to return towards the pool after leading Isis with Lukas to the guests' restroom, Ares noticed that Lily had come right in and tugged him in aparté. He understood what she wanted him to do, either teach anyone how to make a cake or just make it himself, though for the latter he wouldn't mind at all, anything to get him back in the good graces of his siblings perhaps? Also it would allow him to isolate himself from the group perhaps as after spending a year on his own, training and coming to terms with the things he had found out, he wasn't that much of a people's person anymore. At least it was how he felt.
"I can do it," Ares told her sincerely with a nod, "I am not sure though how it is going to turn out because it has been a while since I have made one, but I will do the best that I can." Ares smiled once more and gestured towards the kitchen, walking in that direction to check if every ingredients that was needed was here.
Of course it would be since he still remembered that his sister loved to cook so it wasn't surprising to him to find it well stocked with different type of ingredients and any necessary goods to make a cake. Furrowing his eyebrows before looking at Lily again. "Do any one of you have any allergies to anything?" It was a legit question, he knew that Ryan didn't nor did Crystal and Franz but for Elikapeka, Delaana or even Ayodele he had no clue at all...
For a moment he was about to reach out to Ali but he figured that there was a chance that she was engaged in a conversation with his sister, so for now he kept that in the down low and resumed looking at the Attorney General who he had come to know first and foremost as Crystal's childhood friend and therefore he ultimately knew that the thing he was going to share with his siblings might either shock Lily or just despair her, after all Lily also was dating Ryan.
So many complications, and he felt that time was being robbed away from him...

"Ah, thank you both."
Ice smiled at both of them before following Ares into the house. Once he had shown her where the bathroom was, she disappeared through the doorway letting the door close softly behind her. She dropped the small duffel bag, she'd brought with them from the speeder, onto the floor then knelt down to set Lukas on his feet in front of the toilet.
"You remember how to do this, dude?" She asked with small grin while pushing her sunglasses to the top of her head.
"Yup!" He stated as he dropped his pants and cartoon emblazoned underwear to his ankles and proceeded to step up to the toilet and take aim. Chuckling, Ice turned away to give him some semblance of privacy to do his business.

Andros laughed genuinely at the joke Elika had told him teasingly. He knew that it might have been surprising, but indeed he still knew how to laugh and smile depending on the circumstances but right now since he wasn't under any scrutiny and that he was relatively surrounded by people he knew and trusted, then why would he even keep on glaring? "It's maybe one of those days where I don't feel like glaring, at all." Smirking and closing his eyes briefly when Elika squeezed his arm. He figured that she would have her ways to keep herself occupied in getting to know Delaana and truth be told, he was glad that it was happening. Now, deep in the corner of his mind, he supposed that his next thing to do what to really get rid of that person who was mandated to Elika but he had to do that discreetly, that went without saying and yesterday he couldn't just full on out say, 'sure no more bodyguard' as originally that wasn't his doing at all.
Since he had just asked for a meeting with Elika tomorrow, he just looked at her knowing that she just like him could be quite busy. Elika was after all someone who had just come back from those multiple trips and he still was the Vice-Governor under investigation sure, but he still had a planet to run more or less. His last project was going to be exactly that thing he wanted to discuss with Elika, and then he would be done, completely and entirely from the political scene. "Noon it is, if you even want to have lunch there, then not a problem to me."
He supposed that they could think about that tomorrow as of right now he had noticed that Ares Solaris had arrived with Alisha and Ice along with Lukas. This day was going to turn more and more interesting especially when Andros heard that Alisha and Ares were engaged. Ares' engagement couldn't have prevented him from contacting his siblings to begin with, right? Andros seemed unimpressed currently, his face returned to its usual features and he solely inclined his head when he was introduced and the others introduced themselves. It stopped there, he really didn't feel like mingling with the others he barely knew. Although Ares he did know but the man seemed to have come here with something to share with his siblings. His change, physically, only made Andros assumed of the worse. If there was one trend he knew about the Solaris, whenever they were in deep periods and moments of stress, they would workout, train and what have you.
Rubbing his face, briefly, suddenly he had a bad feeling about that, and that superseded his issues currently with the press and the murders. Finally he got out of the water and walked straight to his lounge seat to lay down on that after drying his body.

"That's not it?" Franz feigned confusion when Ayodele told him that he had mis-characterized what he had defined as poker face, he knew that it wasn't a poker face but he just went along with it. "No wonder I kept losing at pazaak back then." He muttered under his breath before laughing genuinely and shaking his head at himself. "At least I did get something right..." He looked at her sheepishly and furrowed his eyebrows thoughtfully trying to recall if he had in fact broekn any hearts with that look of his. "You'd be surprised in knowing that if and when I spring out that face, I actually rarely go get away with it. It doesn't work that much but for the second part," He really pondered about that because to be perfectly honest, he didn't even want to lie about that because what was the use anyways? "Nope, I only bring that poker face," He even air quoted that term with an amused smile. "Often times when I like to pretend that my feelings have been wounded, which isn't often and always in a context of a joke, which doesn't again work because," He gestured towards the women in particular, those he considered like his sisters too. "They know me all too well."
Since he in fact didn't have a choice and in fact he wasn't about to debate about that since he knew what was good for him, Franz only ended up looking at Ayodele with a warm affectionate smile as he listened to her speak. "For as long as you'll allow me to, I'll be there." Franz meant that and he smiled, of course he meant it in many more ways that the today context anyways, but he was sincere about that and he clearly didn't need to think twice about it. He didn't even do a double take about what he had just said because he was just comfortable in her company, and to think that insofar they had only been talking anyways. "When you do need anything, just let me know apparently Crystal said that I should be tending to you perfectly otherwise I might be in trouble with her." Franz shuddered but just for show and then he looked over to where everyone had gathered and was surprised to find out that Ares was engaged thanks to Lily who had just blurted out that fact.
"If this get together turns into something crazy, not the bad way I assure you, please do save me!" Franz's voice hitched a little but in fact he didn't mean anything by it, it was just the fact that he understood what had been uttered there and it appeared that not only Lily's mind was often in that proverbial place but so was Alisha.

Lakehouse - Kitchen
When Ares tells me that he can do, I do have a little pang on guilt right then and there, and actually I was more expecting him to perhaps write the recipe down so that I can follow it or anyone of us could, like say Baby Girl who aces things in the kitchen. But Ares seems inclined to do the cake and therefore I smile gratefully at him and give his arm a grateful squeeze. "I really appreciate that, although if you really do not feel like it, we can always order one in to get it delivered here, or tell Lover Boy to pick one up with the candles he has to get."
It's either me, or there is something really off about Ares, I really can't put my finger on but he seems different from the last time I have seen him. It's like his joie de vivre has gone AWOL too. Why would it? He is engaged to a beautiful woman and that should give him some happy, and also he is here where his siblings are ... So what gives? Right, from what I recall from last night concerning the message he has left to Ryan, Ares has sounded serious then and there, perhaps there really was something going on with him. I cannot believe I am about to do this ... "Ares ... Furrowing my eyebrows while looking at him meaningfully. I do not know what is going on and all I know is the message you have left your brother and sister, but if you need to talk, I will listen. I offer that genuinely even though I know that he and I aren't close, but he is still Crystal and Ryan's sibling. Unfortunately though, for your siblings, you'll have to wait tomorrow and especially Crystal because she is worried about her man too."
Giving one meaningful expression to Ares to indicate that it's not a subject that should be spoken about with the others around, I do know that he is smart enough to figure it out. But then I nibble my lower lip in thought when he asks that question. Allergies ... Right. Putting my finger up to indicate that I need a moment to figure that out, I stalk out of the kitchen and head back towards the pool to ask discreetly to anyone and everyone barred Pookie if they are allergic to something in particular because Ares has accepted to make the cake. Only when I do get the answers from everyone do I return towards the kitchen to let Dr. Love know about it.

Ryan really tried to control his laughter when Ali chipped in about Ares'... Yep better not even get into that but hey at least Alisha seemed satisfied with that she was going to marry him! Ryan had not noticed that before, not until his very own girlfriend had noticed the ring on Ali's finger and now that they were all back at the area where mist was cleared off, he definitely could see it very clearly. It really was good to be seeing Ice and Lukas after all of this time, the last time he had even heard about Ice in general it was back on Honoghr and her husband had disappeared.
Well then, there probably something there considering that she was here now with her son and not there. Either way Ryan had looked at Lukas with an amused grin, the lil man seemed to be outspoken at least and saying what he clearly thought or felt, which was a good thing indeed.
Ryan had heard something from his brother, it sounded like he was about to inquire about Atlantis. It was probably for the best that the inquiry had been delayed considering the rule for today, although Ryan looked at his girlfriend dubiously when she had gone inside and he shook his head faking fear. "I so do not want to be your fiancé right now Ali-cat." Ryan had said it like it was a bad thing but he was joking that was a fact and clearly there was no way that Lily was even going to be violating her own rule right?
In any case, Ryan, too, was interested in hearing how Ares had proposed and when exactly did he propose? Ryan had known that Ares had been wanting to do that since after the last time they had all come to Umgul to treat Franz for his head trauma, but days then weeks and months had gone by, Ares didn't do a thing, and then Ryan had to leave, he resigned from RDMC because he wanted to be here. "Say, how is RDMC, you got a new chief in neuro?" Ryan asked dubiously since that had been his field there but he knew that Ali had to replace him. He also wondered how was her mom.
Since he didn't want to flood her with so many questions as his sister had already asked some of her own, he just stopped there and indicated to Ali that she didn't need to answer now and they could very well play catch up later on. Returning by the pool, remembering that Elika didn't want to use the raft for the time being, he got that and dumped it in the middle of the pool before diving right in and settling onto the inflatable mattress afterwards to tan there.

"I was hoping you would, my Shakal," Lana teasingly said to Elika before looking at her perplexedly for a moment when Elika went on about not quite having that moment together. Evidently Lana had already thought about that; Elika's bodyguard matter, at the restaurant, yes perhaps he would easily make himself disappear but Lana would know, just like Elika that he would still be there. Thinking about a silver lining, actually she did have one shot on how to make that happen although that would entail a lot of things which she obviously didn't want to get on that just yet. "I am sure that you are trying to get that changed, one of these days though you will have to tell me that story about having a bodyguard," Lana smiled warmly noticing that Elika was indeed irritated by that disposition especially planetside. But if that was still maintained here, especially now, it must have been for a reason. One she clearly didn't want to pry on too deeply.
"Are you sure? Because I can always put in a word to just have it at my place, it's one of the safest area of the city and Franz will only need to pick you up by the end of the night?" Either way, Lana really wanted for Elika to be sure about that, for a restaurant it was crowded also and with the going ons in the planet, perhaps Elika preferred to be away from all that ruckus too. "I obviously do not want to force your hand, but if indeed you are sure about the restaurant, then I will go for it, either way as long as you are there, I am perfectly content." Giving Elika's lips a gentle peck, Lana pulled her head back and smiled warmly before looking around knowing that it was already getting quite crowded in here. Lana was definitely torn between doing something or just about anything to mingle perhaps but at the same time, she preferred to stay next to Elika.
"Did you by the way wanted to mingle for a bit? I can perfectly let you go and survive for a little while, I hope." Lana said playfully as she smiled at what Elika had just said concurring with what Lana had stated a few seconds ago.

Ali laughed at Lily's comment as she watched Ares lead Ice, still holding Lukas in her arms, into the house to the restroom. Turning slightly, she faced Lily again with a smile nodding in amused approval when Lily states that she needed to steal Ares for a moment so his siblings wouldn't kick his ass.
"Of course, Lily. Anything that keeps him from getting his ass kicked is fine by me. I'd rather not have him all black and blue if it can be avoided." She replied with a somewhat serious tone before giving a small chuckled when Lily said she'd be right back. Ali pursed her lips giving another small chuckle as she watched the other woman disappear into the house in pursuit of Ares.
Looking thoughtful for a moment, she was brought out of her reverie when Crystal spoke asking if they had set a date for the wedding yet and also how Ares proposed. Before she could answer, Crystal had raised her hand to halt her reply while looking towards the bar and asking if she needed anything and also if she had a swimsuit or bikini. Pushing her sunglasses up in her nose, Ali met Crystals gaze with a sincere smile. Folding her arms across her chest, she caught her bottom lip between her teeth as she tilted her head to the side a little and contemplated telling Crystal the whole story of Ares' disappearing for a year, his sudden reappearance in her office, and his explanation for leaving in the first place. Though even as those thoughts crossed her mind, she knew that he wanted to be the one to inform them of his reasons for breaking all contact with everyone, including herself.
Deciding on the condensed version of the events of the last few days, Ali spoke in a cheerful tone. "First thing first....yes, I have a swimsuit/bikini and I'll take that drink later, after I change. Now for a wedding date, we haven't set one yet. We wanted to let the families know first before we plan anything." She paused a moment and smiled, remembering exactly how Ares' proposal came about. Deciding to omit that particular part, Ali met Crystals gaze again and continued. "Ares randomly surprised me by showing up in my office, ring in hand, and proposed. I have to admit that I wasn't entirely sure he was serious, at first, until I looked into his eyes and knew he was. I wasn't going to let him get away again."
Realizing as she said the last part that it might raise questions, she was actually quite thankful that Ryan had jokingly said that he wouldn't want to be Ares right now after watching Lily follow his brother into the house, then he had asked about the RDMC. She was about to answer him when he indicated that they could talk later. Shaking her head in amusement, she laughed lightly as Ryan tossed an inflatable mattress into the pool and dove in after it. With a grin, she turned back to Crystal as she spoke again.
"Boys will be boys it seems."

Despite keeping a placid expression on her features, Crystal did notice how subtly Alisha had caught the bottom of her lip, there was just something in that action that got Crystal to thinking that perhaps Alisha was aware why Ares had cut all comm with them here in Umgul. How could Ali not know? Ali and Ares were engaged, for a moment Crystal contemplated to press on especially when Ali verbatim stated that she didn't want to let Ares go again. Throughout what Ali had said, Crystal listened attentively and smiled when she was done speaking.
"And here I thought that Ares was a hopeless romantic..." Feigning disappointment on how he proposed, Crystal was only joking of course and she was certain that Ares still found the perfect way to propose to Ali than just show up at her office and propose like that. She remembered a discussion she had in the past with Ryan. Apparently Ares was supposed to propose once they had returned to Honoghr from their last trip here but up till Ryan had come to settle here on Umgul permanently, Ares didn't do it yet for whatever reason. "From what I do know from my other brother, about time too it happened or that it is going to be happening soon." Considering that Crystal always did appreciate Alisha, she walked towards her future sister in law and gave her an affectionate hug. "Officially welcome."
Stepping back, she looked over her shoulder and heard Ryan speaking before jumping into the pool. Crystal smiled in amusement and looked at Alisha with a fake exasperated sigh. "Tell me about it," Laughing softly before rolling her eyes and noticing that Lily was dashing to and fro it seemed and asking for any allergies, Crystal pursed her lips and looked at Alisha with amusement. "It appears that my childhood friend has managed to convince your fiancé to do something." Crystal left it at that and smirked, Ali was welcomed to check it out, after all they were all family here.
"Right, I won't hold you any longer, so get changed and be comfortable," Grinning knowingly and looking in that direction where she knew her childhood friend was, Crystal added on. "And I also believe that you and Lily will get along just perfectly. But if you do need anything, just let me know, okay?"

Elikapeka smiles, tilting her head to the side with playful skepticism after Andros says that today is one of the days he doesn't feel like scowling, asking him teasingly, "There have been other days you didn't feel like scowling? Really? Where was I on those days? Waving her free hand with a laugh to drop the teasing, Elika instead addresses his statement about their plan to meet tomorrow, saying, Lunch would be nice after the meeting. Assuming, she says with a playfully exasperated sigh, we both don't find our schedules have been filled with other business by the time lunch comes around."
Elika arches an eyebrow with playfully narrowed eyes when Delaana says that she had been hoping Elika would like the sound of having Delaana to herself, asking, "Was there ever the least bit of doubt, my Ceesi? Laughing at the very idea, Elika teasingly rolls her eyes before groaning as much playfully as she does genuinely after Delaana mentions that she is not yet familiar with the story of how Elika wound up with a body guard. You know, Elika says with a sigh, there really isn't much of a story. Or if there is, it isn't one that anyone has seen fit to share with me. I mean, sure, I worked on the Mist Order's academy, which could maybe be considered a job with a certain degree of risk requiring that I be watched over, but that job is finished now. And, she crinkles her nose, I might be doing other government jobs in the future, but I doubt they'd be anything requiring that a constant security detail be assigned to me. It isn't like I'll be designing top secret military bases, you know? Laughing Elika crinkles her nose again, That's not really my area of expertise. Shrugging her shoulders, Elika says, Anyway, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It never has, to be honest. And, she makes an intentionally exaggerated face suggesting determination and resolve of epic proportions, I'm going to do something about it, dang it." Nodding as though to emphasize her point, Elika laughs again, waving a hand to set the subject aside before it starts to really bother her.
Nodding her head when Delaana asks if she is sure about the restaurant idea, Elika says, "I'm sure. Pausing before explaining her answer, not sure it won't make her seem too neurotic, Elika decides to risk doing just that since she wants to be open with Delaana, her expression just the slightest bit nervous as she says, I think I'll be less self conscious, if that makes sense? I mean, I know Franz would do his best to be unobtrusive or maybe even just pick me up later like you said, but I'd know he was there, or be watching the chrono for when he'd be coming, you know? I'd rather be focused on you, or us I mean, than the fact I have a baby-sitter watching over me or coming to pick me up like some teenager, you know? And being in a restaurant, where he'd at least probably be doing his best to blend in and watch over the exits or something, just seems less intrusive. To me anyway. Is that stupid? Groaning again, covering her eyes with her free hand, Elika tries to slow her voice back down after noting how quickly she had begun babbling, and asks worriedly, Are you sure it doesn't bother you? The whole bodyguard thing? I'd understand if you'd rather wait to go out until I get that whole situation resolved." Turning to face Delaana and wrapping her other arm around Delaana's waist when asked if she might want to mingle, Elika pulls her closer as she asks with a kittenish smile, "Let you go, my Ceesi? And what, Elika leans forward to purr into Delaana's ear, if I don't want to let you go?"

Lakehouse — Kitchen
Ares smiled at Lily, he knew most of the reasons why Ryan had dropped everything on Honoghr to head here, Ares knew all of that and now that he was face to face with Lily, he could tell that she was caring, and also looked out for the people she cared about. Perhaps the offer to talk was made because Lily was friends with his sister, but he could still see the sincerity emanating from her eyes. "It can wait tomorrow, I know what is going on here on Umgul." Since when he had reached the planet's orbit he had hooked himself up to the holonet of the planet and he had read the news concerning the murders that Andros had supposedly committed and Atlantis wanting to cover it up. From what Ares had seen earlier, Andros didn't look like he had that guilty conscience anyways, and Ares knew that whenever Andros took a life, good or bad, it would have an emotional impact on the younger Vyridian twin.
"Lily?" Ares called out with a warm smile before looking in her direction. "Thank you." He said as he focused on his task at hand, anything to keep his mind occupied. He started with the cake batter and figured that he would use some of the blumfruits he had overseen by the bar and mix it up with the chocolate. That should be perfectly fine he guessed. Stepping out for a moment from the kitchen to retrieve some of the blumfruits, he looked at Elika that was there with Delaana and smiled just seeing them together. They looked happy, but Ares didn't comment and just took enough but also left some because he could see that it was going to also be used for the cocktails and he returned to the kitchen to get started on the cake batter, they were already a lot so he supposed that three layers should do the trick.
Also thanks to Lily, he supposed that he could add what he needed to the cake creation and get it done in a hour, hopefully...
"I couldn't help but to notice, some people are missing from here..." Ares looked at Lily dubiously and pursed his lips. He meant Raan, Atlantis and also the Drakes, but then again Ares didn't speak out the names and just waited for any information that Lily could provide him about the whereabouts of some.

It's with a smile that I welcome him for the thanks, although it is quite unnecessary in my opinion. He is baby girl's brother and there is nothing to it. Perhaps his siblings do have a beef with him still for not contacting them but insofar I have seen nothing about that. I am sure that they are more relieved to see him alive and well ... And he is engaged, so that trumps all the obscure things I suppose. Still if I were to guess, there is something really wrong with him, I do not know what yet, and even though he and I do not know one another that much. Heck I only know what Ryan has told me. From hot stuff's descriptive about his fraternal twin, something is off. Although I guess it's the whole silent by nature taking over. "Ah yes, Taking a seat on the stool by the kitchen island while I watch him work on the batter, I know I need to make myself comfortable or just settle for a moment. That thing you must have read about, the ongoing stuff on this planet, Atlantis is currently in the city, introducing some Jedi to the Rangers and detectives that are handling this case. Waving my hand dismissively and smiling at him just to reassure him. You shouldn't overthink about that, as I am sure you have other things in mind."
... But he has said some people, I really have no idea who he is referring to in particular, all I know is that at least he means Lover Boy since Ares nearly has spoken his name earlier. "How long are you staying by the way? I ask dubiously, hopefully he is going to tell me for a while because if this is just a quick stop or something, I do not see Ryan and/ or Crystal be really thrilled about that especially when apparently Ares needs to talk with them about something serious. Also do you need any help with that, Glancing at what he is doing but also noticing that he seems to have it under control, I still feel a little guilty for him to do that when he has recently been engaged, I am assuming. or you know what, just tell me what you need if you need something to drink, like coffee or some cocktail based on blumfruits, even something to eat, just let me know, okay?"
It's the least I can do, he is supposed to be an invitee and here I am slaving him into making a cake for Pookie, though I did give him the choice to either do or not.

Delaana smiled playfully knowing perfectly that Elika's question was a rhetorical one. After all currently she was very content to be here and it showed on her features. When Elika went on soon enough about the reasons why she had a bodyguard, Lana already had a precise idea why, but it never showed on her features and instead she listened attentively to what Elika was saying. One straight to the point answer that Lana would have given right then and there would have been because clearly Elika was living with two high officials from the Mist Government, and perhaps she would have been countered by the fact that Lily and Crystal did not have any bodyguards, but Delaana knew that it was the case, each of them had bodyguards, always unseen due to how the two leaders knew how they would react, and very badly, especially Crystal. The Chief Financial Officer had already made some concession to having the lakehouse under some or several unobtrusive security measures. But beyond that, Lana guessed that they were on the need to know basis. "Perhaps you could inquire the reasons why sooner or later?" Delaana suggested with a faint frown but she quickly dropped the subject because she could clearly see that Elika was irritated with that to begin with.
About the restaurant matter, Delaana completely understood what Elika had meant by what she was saying and why the restaurant was the way to go. "No, my Shakal, it is not stupid and I perfectly understand." Delaana reassured her before brushing gently Elika's cheek with the back of her fingers. "Trust me, it doesn't bother me at all that bodyguard thing." Smiling after saying that statement of hers sincerely reassuring also Elika but at the same time, in the corner of her mind, she knew that it also could be said about her, just like it was for Franz...
"And you have said it yourself, my Shakal," Placing her hands onto Elika's cheek before pecking gently her lips. "I'd like to focus on us as well, so any moments I do get that, I will take it, bodyguard or no." Laughing softly when pulled closer, Lana gave Elika a teasing smile before sliding her hands from Elika's cheeks to her shoulders wrapping her arms around her. "Then I am afraid you are stuck with me, because I don't plan on going anywhere." Looking into Elika's eyes for a long moment, Delaana smiled once more before giving Elika's lips another gentle peck although she wished to kiss her more than that, she was going to risk it with people around, so a peck would suffice for now.

"Contruum, I believe, Elika..." It was the answer Andros had given to Elika about her whereabouts on that infamous day when he wasn't glaring, since if he did recall perfectly, it was around the same time he had started that demolition of the raceways with Raan. He truly did have fun then and there, and then his mood had downed due to the fact that someone had arrived, or returned and clearly, Andros did have mixed feelings about that person, but it turned out Atlantis really did good on that, no one came here to find that said person and his days after that just really turned into a nightmare for him.
That was all in the past now, and now that he really thought about it, he'd want to have those moments back than the moment he was in now, when he wasn't out of this place, that much was a given. Considering though that Elika had agreed on lunch afterwards in proviso that they weren't busy after their talks, Andros couldn't help but to scoff at that, nothing against her of course but more about him really. "I wouldn't be surprised if all of my businesses/ appointments were canceled..." Andros left it at that, after the press splatter and the witnesses' accounts who painted him as guilty without a doubt, Andros wasn't holding his breath at all. Heck he wouldn't be surprised if Katiara Tisa had told him that his schedule had been cleared out due to whomever that had an appointment with him had canceled.
Now, Andros was laying on the lounge seat very comfortably and he had his eyes closed just enjoying the feel of the sun on his skin. Even though he seemed like he wasn't really paying attention he could still heard some bits and pieces of conversation between Crystal and Alisha but also Elikapeka and Delaana. For the newly formed couple, it really sounded to him that they indeed were getting along just fine and even though he had told Elika that he would be going big brother if Lana messed up at some point, the fact was, Andros would not just go big brother. He and Delaana Wan indeed had an understanding with one another and he also knew that the Hapan was bright and could perfectly read between the lines and Andros knew that Delaana had understood perfectly why he had asked that of her.
Although at some point, he had wished that perhaps it wouldn't come to bite him in the ass, and for that he knew that it wouldn't be a good thing.

Shaking her head with a laugh when Franz jokingly asks for confirmation that his puppy dog face is not a poker face in any way shape or form, Ayodele says, "No, no it most certainly is not, Franz. Listening to Franz, who is beginning to seem to her as though his is actually relaxing to some degree as she had requested that he do, go on to chatter breezily and lightly in a joking manner of his tendency to act as though he has been wounded, and of how those that know him well are seldom, if ever, fooled by his act, Ayodele smiles her seemingly eternally bemused smile when he has finished, telling him, And now I too will know not to be fooled."
Turning gracefully to lay on her stomach for a while, Ayodele props her chin on her folded arms, her face turned towards Franz as he tells her, clearly speaking of more than simply keeping her company at the moment rather than going to visit with his family and friends, he will remain by her so long as she will allow it. Her smile at once amused and enigmatic, Ayodele says, "How very fortunate for me, Franz. The sentiment Franz expresses couched within his joking banter seems somewhat hasty to Ayodele; as yet they know relatively little of one another, and yet she knows as well that her own reserve may be borne from old habits and the fact that her view of time, sure to be distinct from that of Franz and other humans, is skewed by her relationship with it. I will be sure to let you know the very moment I need or desire aught, Franz, Ayodele tells him with a smile, setting her thoughts aside to ponder later so that she might allow herself the luxury of simply enjoying the moment. I would not want you to find yourself in any trouble."
Laughing lyrically with a shake of her head when Franz, amusingly playing hapless and helpless rather well, asks for her protection in case things should take a turn for the crazy, Ayodele lifts a hand and waves it languidly towards him as she says with a bemused smile, "Consider yourself under my protection Franz. No harm shall come to you so long as I am near."

Elikapeka crinkles her nose with a frown when Delaana suggests that she could ask about the reasons for her having been assigned a permanent protection detail, not terribly interested in the why so much as she is in the how to put an end to the arrangement, and then makes a non-committal noise in lieu of an answer as she doesn't really feel like dwelling on the subject any more for the time being. Smiling when Delaana says that she understands Elika's reasoning and that she herself is not particularly bothered by the fact that, at least for the time being, any time they have together will be spent with someone nearby looking over them, Elika says only partly in jest, "Well, that makes one of us anyway, my Ceesi."
Closing her eyes briefly and tilting her head to nuzzle her cheek against one of Delaana's hands when she pecks her, Elika sighs after the all too brief, all too chaste kiss, looking into Delaana's eyes and biting the corner of her lower lip as she is told that Delaana's focus is also on their burgeoning relationship, and that she too will take any time they have even if it means that time will be spent with a bodyguard never being far from them. "Good," Elika leans forward to whisper beside Delaana's ear with a mischievous grin after Delaana says that she is stuck with her, and that she has no plans on going anywhere at the moment. Realizing that she and Delaana are more likely than not venturing into annoying PDA territory, and even though she would be more than happy to simply slip into their own private little world, Elika steps back from Delaana, reaching for one of her hands and entwining their fingers together as she turns back towards the bar and smiles with an eyebrow arched in playful skepticism when Andros claims that there was a time, when she was away on Contruum, that he did not scowl. Laughing when Andros says that he would not be surprised to find that any appointments he might have had tomorrow have been cancelled due to the whole debacle in the press, Elika lifts her free hand, thumb keeping her sleeve from riding down, and apologizes, "Sorry, not funny. But, she cannot help but joke with a grin, maybe a blessing in disguise for you, right? Always a silver lining," Elika adds with a playful wink, leaving the subject at that before they risk stepping over the no drama line by speaking of things that she is sure no one wants to think about, at least for today.

Franz looked at Ayodele with wide eyes and took a deep breath before making a face. "Way to go me, I have revealed a secret now." Franz laughed and shook his head still looking at her, yes indeed because of his mishap there, she'd know that he wasn't serious whenever he made those beaten puppy eyes and that he was only joking the whole time. But he couldn't believed that he had revealed just that which got him to scratch the back of his head sheepishly. "I will have to come up with another," He lifted both of his arms and air quoted his next statement. "Poker face, a new and improved one that you do not know about." Franz rolled his eyes playfully only to indicate that he was only joking, and he wouldn't do such thing anyways. What else was there? The pout, too close to his own poker face. The stoic look, nah that wouldn't fit as it wouldn't convey that he was wounded.
"On second thought, I have nothing..." Franz chuckled and returned to his laying position on the lounge seat and he was still looking at her slightly inclining his head with a sheepish smile when she told him that she was fortunate, but then again, in this case, he felt like he was more fortunate for just being here and spending some time with her, to her letting him know that she would tell him if and when she indeed needed anything. "If I do end up in trouble, if wouldn't be because of you, I am afraid that one of my other cousins has been rubbing off on me, and he is a magnet for trouble." Then again to be perfectly honest? At some point in time, all of them were, and often times it was a certain Kiffar that had been keeping them in line. Anobis period. It seemed like it was eons ago and at the reminisce of that, Franz smiled briefly and looked up the sky thoughtfully.
Anobis, that was a crazy period for him but at the same time he had learned so much, and now he was here in Umgul, part of an Order independent from the Unified Jedi Order, and he had never thought to be part of something like that because he preferred acting on his own and also he didn't like too many rules anyways or having someone to tell him to do this or that. Ergo Franz, too, being a magnet for trouble.
Snapping out of his reverie when Ayodele put him under her protection, Franz smirked gratefully looking at her with an amused chuckle. "Aren't I the fortunate one, this time?" He asked rhetorically with another sheepish smile before raising his head slightly noticing that Lily wasn't no where to be seen just like Ares. Somewhat in the deep corner of his mind, he felt that Lily was up to something. Pushing that feeling aside, since it wasn't really a problem, he looked at Ayodele once again, "By the way, did you wish for a particular music or even get back into the pool?"

Ali was inwardly relieved when Crystal didn't press the issue on her verbal slip though she suspected that there were unspoken questions on her soon-to-be-relatives mind. Pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind, Ali focused on what Crystal was saying. An amused smile played on her lips when Crystal feigned a look of disappointment saying that she had thought her brother was a hopeless romantic. Stepping forward, Crystal then gave Ali an affectionate hug, welcoming her, which Ali returned before both stepped back from each other. "Thank you, Crystal."She said with a warm smile before both of their gazes caught Lily dashing back and forth questioning people on if they had any allergies. Crystal commented on the fact that it seemed like Lily had managed to rope Ares into doing something then stated that she didn't want to hold Ali up any longer from getting changed."Yes, she did mention about needing to steal him for something, earlier." Ali mused thoughtfully with a chuckle as she folded her arms across her chest, smiling when Crystal stated that she thought Ali and Lily would get along perfectly before adding that if Ali needed anything to just ask. Nodding her head, Ali gave a half smile. "I think Lily and I will get along just fine. She speaks her mind and I like that."Truthfully, Lily reminded Ali of Jena just a little bit. Both women spoke their minds more often than not. Waving that thought off, Ali adjusted the shoulder strap of her bag with a grin."Anyway....bathing suit. I'll go change and see if I can find out what's keeping Ice and Lukas."With that, she disappeared into the house heading straight to the bathroom and knocking softly on the door and smiling when she heard Ice's muffled voice through the barrier."Lukas, you need to wear your swimming shorts. You're not going out there in the buff, dude.""But Mommy...." "No buts....especially not your butt hanging out for everyone to see, young man."Stifling a chuckle from the hallway, Ali knocked softly on the door before opening it and peeking in. "Icey, it's just me. I'm coming in to change, chérie." From her kneeling position in front of Lukas, Ice turned her head in the direction of the door and motioned her cousin into the room before facing her son again holding out a pair of swim shorts for him to step in to. He stood with his little arms folded across his chest and a pout on his face at having to wear the swim shorts but after a moment he relented putting his hands on Ice's shoulders to steady himself and stepped into the shorts. Ice pulled them up for him and stood up with a smile."See? That's not so bad now is it?""Guess not...." Ali raised an eyebrow, looking at Ice with an amused grin as she set her bag on the floor beside Ice's."Looks like we have another skinny dipper on our hands." She mused, referring to when a young Morgan Calmcacil had spent one of her birthdays on Honoghr a couple of years ago and had decided to go skinny dipping in the Water Gardens during her party. Ice couldn't help but laugh at that memory and the look on the face of Aerandir Calmcacil, Morgans father, when Jena pointed out that Morgan had stripped and was already in the pool."Is it really that hard to keep clothes on a kid? Someone should've warned me about this beforehand."Ali laughed with a shrug while opening her bag and rummaging through it. "Apparently it is. Remember Naboo when we were barely teenagers?"Ice rubbed a hand over her face with a small groan while Lukas looked up at her with a curious expression before plopping himself on the floor to watch cartoons on a datapad that Ice had brought just for that purpose. Oh Gahd....Naboo. That was one lecture from Jena that I'd like to forget, thank you very much."Chuckling Ali found what she'd been looking for and pulled it out of the bag with a look of satisfaction. "You and me both. Icey. Now let's get changed and mingle!"Ice, grinned, shaking her head at how quickly Ali could change a subject when she wanted to. They weren't overly worried about Lukas seeing them change, mainly because he was too busy laughing at something on the datapad and not paying any attention to either of them. He was lost in his own little world for the time being, giggling at the antics of the characters in one of his favorite cartoons.
A few moments later, after both had gotten into their swimsuits, Ice in a black bikini and Ali in light blue and white one. Ice had her back to Ali while she was looking for something in the duffel bag she had for her and Lukas. Ali glanced away from the mirror she'd been looking in and moved over to her cousin to lightly touching the lash scars crisscrossing Ice's back and the gash marks on her left shoulder."They've healed up nicely, this time, after the procedure."Ice had flinched a little when she felt Ali's fingers on her skin because the procedure, a scar smoothing technique, had only been done about 3½ weeks prior to their visit here. Looking over her shoulder, she arched an eyebrow at Ali."It's still a little sore in some spots.""It will be for a little while, chérie. With as many as there are it was a bit difficult, especially when most of them crisscross each other....but the edges are smoother and you'll have a lot more range of motion now without all of the scar tissue built up. That last time in the bacta tank worked wonders too."Ali caught her lower lip between her teeth as Ice turned to face her with an affectionate smile."It's because of yours and Jena's expertise, not just the bacta. Of course, at least this time the bacta tank was by choice and not because I had to."Ice stated matter-of-factly, as she pulled a sheer white button up shirt out of the bag and held it up to inspect it. Tilting her head to the side a little, Ali studied her cousin thoughtfully for a moment."We could've probably removed most, if not all, of them you know.""I know, Alicat, but you also know why I didn't want them completely removed. They're a part of me. They helped me to realize that not everything is perfect and sometimes life really sucks, but you just have to pick yourself up and move on."Pursing her lips, Ali arched a delicate eyebrow. She knew the real reasons Ice had chosen the smoothing instead of overall removal of the scars and what her cousin had just stated was only part of it. She knew Ice didn't talk about what she had went through very much and this was not the time, nor the place to rehash that ordeal. They were suppose to be having fun today, no drama, just relaxation. Smiling, Ali let the subject drop as Ice pulled the white shirt on leaving it unbuttoned, and quickly re-braided her hair while Ali pulled a pale blue t-shirt out of her own bag and slipped it on before stuffing the rest of their clothing back into both of their bags.
Lukas looked up from his cartoons, noticing that Mommy and Ali had changed into swimming suits also. Grinning, he scrambled to his feet, handing the datapad to Ice. "We goin' swim now?" "Yes, as long as you promise to keep those shorts on. No streaking around the pool area, or the rest of the backyard for that matter. Got it?" Ice smiled at his enthusiasm as she spoke in an even tone while taking the datapad and tucking it into a side pocket on the bag."Got it!" Lukas nodded his head eagerly, shifting from one foot to the other as he waited for them to hurry up. Both women laughed at his seeming impatience as Ali shouldered her bag and opened the door with dramatic flair. "After you, chéri....""C'mon, Mommy!" He grabbed Ice's hand trying to pull her along through the doorway. Laughing, Ice followed, along with Ali close behind them."Someone should've warned me about the energy levels of toddlers too." Ice laughed as she pulled the sunglasses from the top of her head and slid them on to cover her eyes. Ali just smirked at her while she wondered what Lily had Ares doing. Halting when they came just to the door to the outside area again, she touched Ice's arm. "You go ahead, I'm going to go find Ares and see what he's up to. Just stash our bags under whatever chair you plop yourself into."She handed her bag to Ice and turned to walk away in search of her fiance. Shaking her head with an amused grin, Ice looked down at Lukas as they walked back outside to the pool area.-----------------------------------------------------------------------Ali found Ares and Lily in the kitchen, with Ares mixing up something in a big bowl. Folding her arms across her chest, Ali leaned a shoulder against the doorway with an amused look on her face taking them both in with her gaze."Now this is what I like to see....a man that can actually cook. One of the many reasons why I love him." She smiled at Ares, the love and affection showing in her eyes even as she spoke jokingly. "What are you making, chéri?" She inquired of him as she moved to stand near Lily. "Something sinfully delicious, I hope...." She continued with a slight hint of teasing mischief in her tone.

Lakehouse — Kitcha
Thankfully for him, after being away from civilization for a year or so, Ares still remembered how to make a cake, every measurements without needing a scale, that, he had under control and now he was adding some ingredients into that big bowl he had found because he had decided that he definitely needed to make a three layers cake perhaps especially when Lily had told him that Atlantis was in the city to introduce some Jedi to the Rangers and whatever. Ares didn't know if they were making their way here, but either way, he knew that a big cake was going to be needed with how many people were here already. "You are right, but then again thinking about that thing is perhaps easier than what I do have currently in mind." Ares said with a soft sigh, it wasn't just him that was impacted by that, it was also Lily's boyfriend and her childhood friend whereas what Atlantis and Andros were dealing with right now, sooner or later the truth would come out and then from Ares' memories too, he knew that Andros was close to Lara Drake, and Atlantis was dating Ares' sister. How was he supposed to say that thing when he knew that a lot of bystanders also were going to be impacted by that.
Internally sighing and pushing those downing thoughts away, Ares picked his head up after he was done with the mix that he was going to be whipping and he looked at Lily when she asked him how long he was staying. That was a bloody good question, one that he really had not thought about to be perfectly honest. "I have no idea, Lily, for as long as it is necessary, I am guessing." He smiled looking at her again before shaking his head when asked if he needed anything right now, but since he didn't want that much of attention on him and Ares knew what Lily did for a living and he was pretty sure that she could discern a truth or a lie, he preferred to turn the table. "How is it going with you and Ryan by the way? Did he start working already or still on a sabbatical?"
Glancing on his side when noticing had made her way to the kitchen's threshold, he looked at her with an amused grin but he also looked at what his fiancée was wearing and he briefly closed his eyes to get a hold of himself. "I'll give you one guess at what I am currently doing, amore..." Ares looked at the cake batter and chuckled, that definitely brought some good memories to him, and unable to help him, he dipped his index finger in it and showed it to her with a mischievous smirk. "Chocolate cake. Why don't you judge for yourself if it's actually sinfully delicious?" He asked teasingly showing off his index finger, and quite honestly he didn't care if Lily was around and considering the way she had replied earlier to Ali, he was guessing that her mind was often in the gutter too, but then again he just looked at Lily with an amused grin. "Ali is usually my co-chef in the kitchen whenever making cake, so she needs to taste it..."
