Lakehouse - Pool
Resting his forearms on the edge of the pool while he continued to look at Elika and Crystal mainly since they were the ones talking to him currently, Andros still had that relaxed expression on his features that seemed to not fade right now. "I am less crabby and seem unable to keep on glaring right now, so..." Andros was smirking and he was saying what was what, also it was only thanks to all of them or in this case mainly Elika for twisting his arm into getting him to stay here. Andros couldn't even remember when was the last time he had a good night's sleep. But that was no bother to him as he was more living in the now, where he clearly knew that he was problem free currently. "You should then be thankful that it was okay on the first day, because I seem to recall," Andros this time looked at Crystal in particular with a somewhat cynical grin, there were some habits he couldn't shake off anyways. "Her brother and even my brother seemed to set high standards for her, then again she asked for it, but I am sure the two of you will do just fine." Andros looked at Elika encouragingly with a warm smile. "You are in good hands, Elika."
Andros knew that Elika would take that as having the appropriate coach perhaps but he clearly meant it in a lot of ways, but that wasn't something he was going to expound on right now, or at least ever. By the Force he preferred to not have that can of worms be opened. But he lifted his hand and waved it at both Crystal and Elika with an amused grin. "Perhaps, we'll see..." Andros left it at that for now when it came to joining them, Andros did more than jogging, he also did some cardio to keep himself really in shape and the day he started to have those cuff links, was the day he relied less and less on the Force, plus he preferred to shape his own skills like a normal person, through rigorous martial arts training or some meditation if he didn't feel like actually doing anything on a certain day.
"I am fine for now, thank you for asking but please Elika, just don't worry about me, or even tending to me, I'll go get what I need, just spend your time with..." Andros again left it at that as he glanced briefly at Delaana, Crystal's own PA but also it seemed Elika's girlfriend, could he even refer to her as such? Well he supposed that he'll know once that happened really. Then he remembered something, which got him to look at Elika with a thoughtful expression. "I'd like to speak with you tomorrow if you are able? It's about work, considering that by the AG's ruling, it's supposedly a no drama day, I am going to assume that even work talk is taboo today. So tomorrow, my office?"

By his own admission, the Vice Governor seemed to have a hard time glaring, it amused Delaana, for whenever she did interact with the man, he always seemed to be in a bad mood, unless it was all a ruse. But then again, Lana knew more or less about the man, and from what she had been told by Elika, Andros was different with her, which Lana could see perfectly. Andros was more open and he actually aligned more words than usual, he even kept the conversation alive. In just listening to him right now interacting with Elika and even Crystal, Lana just knew that the people here were the ones he truly felt close to and was comfortable enough to open up without even be afraid to perhaps look weak. She knew that he was a good man for everything he had done insofar but just listening to him right now just made her understand him more and even respect him more.
Smiling in amusement as she looked at both Crystal and Elika who the former had apparently gone easy on the latter during their workout, Lana somewhat looked relieved but that was just for show. Either way later, she was thinking about asking Elika what they actually did during their workout, if it was running or something else, but that could definitely wait for later as Lana just wrapped her arm around Elika when she got back next to Lana. But soon she pouted when Elika removed her chin from her shoulder. "Just name the time and place for that, my Shakal, and I will be there." Delaana sincerely said with a warm before nuzzling her nose gently against Elika's cheek, but from what she had overheard from Andros, it appeared that he wanted to speak with her tomorrow about work.
One thing came to mind about that work; the raceways.
"Whenever you have the time, since from what I do know, he does have a big plan about that taboo thing." Delaana looked at Andros with a knowing smile, after all Delaana was the CFO's PA and she had seen the figures about that project that needed to be taken care of because in the grander scheme of things in Umgul, that would definitely improve the economy and also attract tourists once the place is completed. Considering though that tomorrow there might be a big chance for Elika to be in the same building, perhaps after her meeting with Andros, depending if it was the morning or the afternoon, they could either go for coffee and lunch or coffee and dinner, that would indeed be promising and very inviting which was why she was currently looking at Elika with an expectant expression and a coy smile.

Ayodele laughs lyrically when Franz suggests that he is adept at concealing his true feelings, having observed during the times they have spent together that, quite the contrary, he is possessed of a face and eyes that often eloquently convey all that he feels even when he himself is incapable of articulating those things. Ayodele's expression of amused disbelief, however, soon gives way to one of mild confusion when he follows his assertion with the suggestion that he feels she would know if he were anxious; her confusion genuine as, the Force no longer something that she calls upon with any frequency, Franz's veiled revelation that he has sensed her sensitivity goes over her head. Head canted to the side, her amused smile returning, Ayodele asks playfully, "Is your anxiety so very noticeable then, Franz, that all near you could not help but be aware of it? Mirroring Franz, turning on her side to face him while shading her eyes with a hand, Ayodele smiles as he reminds her of how he had accurately characterized his relationship with his striking female friends, nodding her agreement as she says, You were not lying, no. Laughing when Franz once again suggests that it is unlikely she might commit a faux pas or harm him, and that it is more likely he would do so himself, Ayodele narrows her eyes in a playful warning she knows is more a true warning than Franz will realize, Do not be so sure I am quite so harmless, Franz. Her expression regaining its more customary amused cast, Ayodele smiles as she reminds Franz, As we have both already agreed to have a care where such possibilities are concerned, I feel confident we will be able to avoid harming one another. Laughing with a shake of her head as she lays back down, Ayodele muses in a teasing tone, We had better at any rate, for I fear you are right, and your striking female friends, or sisters if you prefer, would exact a frightful vengeance on whichever of us was so unfortunate as to harm the other, intentionally or not."
Turning her head to the side when Franz says that something tells him that she is plotting something, Ayodele smiles with an intentionally mysterious air and asks, "Me? Shaking her head she says, Not I, Franz. Your striking female friends, on the other hand? Well, she shrugs her shoulders and lays her head down, closing her eyes and adjusting her position in the chair to relax in the sun, you will learn soon enough whether or not there are indeed any plots afoot, or if you are instead simply paranoid, will you not?"

Ali sat next to Ares as he maneuvered the speeder into the flow of the city traffic. Soon enough they were making their way out of the city and in the direction of the Lakehouse. She silently watched the misty road, her thoughts wandering to what kind of scenario awaited them when they arrived. She hoped his family, especially Crystal and Ryan weren't too angry at him for not contacting them but she could certainly understand if they were. She had been angry when he showed up in her office out of the blue, but that anger was short lived at the sight of him being alive and well. Relief, joy, and love overrode any anger she'd felt when they started talking and he finally opened up to her about what had been going on for the last year. Smiling over to him, she reached a hand behind his neck to gently massage the muscles there and toy with the hair at his nape.
"You should probably try to relax a little, chéri. I'm sure they won't grill you too much. They'll be happy that you're here, alive and well."
She spoke softly, reassuringly, careful not to mention anything about the curse. She didn't need to. She already knew it weighed heavily on his mind and he didn't need to be reminded of it again and again right now. It would be discussed between his siblings, himself, and all other involved parties soon enough. She silently thought about everything he'd told her while she continued the gentle massaging in hopes of getting him to loosen up a little bit before they arrived at the Lakehouse.

Ice had strapped Lukas into the child's car seat that had been provided with the speeder and now they both sat in the back seat watching the misty landscape roll by. Mist was nothing new to them. There was sometimes mist on Honoghr too, albeit not as prevalent as the mist here on Umgul. The mist on Honoghr usually only occurred in the early mornings, evenings and/or just before and after it rained, though it did tend to hang over the jungle portions of the landscape quite often. Lukas had been quiet for most of the trip to the Lakehouse, just taking in the surrounding mistiness, until now.
"Mommy? Wha we goin'?"
Smiling, Ice gently ruffled his hair as she answered. "Remember when I told you that we were going to meet new people?"
Lukas thought for a moment then nodded a bit excitedly. "Yup!"
"Well, that's where we're going now. We're going to meet Ares' family and they're new people." She chuckled at the look of concentration on his small face as his next words caused her to pause a moment.
Dhey new? Did dhey jus get born? Ah dhey babies?"
It was all Ice could to to not just burst out laughing at his question. Ahh the joys of youth and innocence. "No, son, they aren't babies. They're grown ups like Ali, Ares, and I. I meant, they are new people to you and I."
Pursing his lips, Lukas looked at Ice for a moment before folding his little arms across his chest with a tiny smile. She chuckled again, figuring he was thinking of more questions to ask - though for now he seemed content with the answers he'd received.

"It would actually depend on the setting I am in and who I am surrounded by," Franz told her with an amused expression as he continued to shade his eyes from the sun with his hand. But in her response, there was only one thing he assumed right now, Ayodele wasn't using her sensitivity at all, or at least she did not make frequent use of it. Perhaps she was just like Crystal, who on the outside seemed to just be that regular person who wasn't attuned to the Force, but then again, to Franz it did not matter, it was their life and their life only, and there was no way he was even going to influence that, everyone had free will, it was how it worked for him at least. "But usually, I rarely hide my true feelings, so if it's not on my expression, my feelings would be a giveaway especially to those that are Force sensitive." Franz just continued to look at Ayodele with a warm expression and sheepish grin.
Fact was he felt like he didn't need to hide behind make believes, concealing his feelings by putting on an impassive expression, he'd rather not, and if that burned him at some point, he didn't care he supposed, it was life and sometimes a person had to gamble. He really had no inclination into hiding who he was in private and how he really felt anyways, especially not with her.
"That works for me, no intentional harming whatsoever from my part at least," Though briefly he had been curious about her statement, and he supposed that he still had a lot to learn about her anyways, but what she had said right then and there just made him content and appeased currently. Laughing when Ayodele stated that his striking female friends, or sisters in his case would exact a vengeance to whomever, Franz looked in their direction there over the bar and actually he had no idea on who he should be the most frightful about. "Individually they are already a force to be reckoned with, but together..." Franz looked at her with a grin and shuddered for effect just for jokes although there was a certain truth in there. "I will side on you with that one and even go as far as saying that perhaps I should work on my poker face sooner or later."
Laying back down normally on the lounge seat but he still had his head turned in her direction, Franz looked at her perplexedly and somewhat in disbelief about her not planning anything but she had still been taken by Crystal aside, so she knew more or less, that much he was sure of. "When it comes to them, I don't even know what to expect." Franz said with a faint chuckle, it was true, just accompanying Elika to TaSpa! got him to be part of that said package, although he guessed that him not contradicting her to begin with or telling the receptionist to disregard that, had been a good thing. It just made him smile knowingly before looking at Ayodele again. "I suppose that indeed I will find out soon enough, but still you might have some idea, or is this the part where you will tell me no comment, or even girl talk?"

Enroute to the Lakehouse
Thankfully Ares still remembered the way to the destination, and thankfully the mist wasn't that problematic to him. Indeed back on Honoghr he had spent most of his time in the jungle and whenever it was there, he had adapted his eyesight to the phenomenon. He had been silent throughout the whole drive and the only actions he had done insofar it was to take a turn if and when it was necessary until they had found themselves away from the traffic and into a more deserted area but when Ali did put a hand on the back of his neck, he felt comforted by that, just appeased and it was just what he needed to pushed his downing thoughts away.
"I suppose I should be si, but..." Ares briefly glanced at Ali because he was still piloting, but in that brief instance where he did look at his fiancée, his gaze was conflicted. He knew that he had to tell serious things to his siblings that concerned them but also overall once they knew, a lot would be affected by that too. Ares sighed and put on a smile nonetheless for the perspective of seeing his siblings after such a long time but also his cousins, that was definitely going to be a good thing.
Ares just hated the purpose of this trip, he just hated to be a bearer of bad news but he had no choice, for he didn't want to leave Crystal or Ryan in the dark. Thankfully though the interaction happening in the backseats did make him smile, Lukas seemed really eager and very curious about who he might be meeting and what he might be doing. The wonders of a three year old, but on the flip side of the coin, he wondered how the little guy was affected by that absence from his father. "I hope that you like the water, Ares asked with an amused tone while he glanced at the rearview mirror at Lukas and Isis in particular. "The place we are going is not only surrounded by a lake but there is also a pool there." Inwardly smirking before glancing knowing at Ali, Ares really had to stifle a laughter because that was all he could do until they had finally reached the lakehouse
Lakehouse
... And of course there was a front gate, Ares knew that if he went above he might be setting off some alarms so he lifted his finger for a moment and closed his eyes briefly to expand his awareness to the Force. He not only felt his brother's familiar signature but also his sister's and his cousins' but also someone he had never met before. Not really keeping the communication private currently because there was no use anyways, he called out to his siblings in particular and brushed their minds. I know that I haven't even contacted you for a long time but please don't leave us hanging here, I don't even want to cross that invisible line that would get an elite task force to this place.
Judging by his brother's message earlier, the tone being light, Ares kept the same light tone and preferred to actually present himself with a joke because clearly there was no way he would be bringing the mood down today with unknown people to him around.

Lakehouse - Pool
Ryan was still sitting by the pool, his legs dangling in the water until he felt that familiar presence brushing him and then came his brother's words. Stopping to move altogether, Ryan leaned back laughing at what Ares had just said before waving his hand in front of him as if to clear the amusement he was feeling currently. "Maybe we should tempt him to cross that invisible line and see what happens next?" Ryan suggested playfully still looking at his sister who no doubt would give him a deadly glare, which happened and caused his to swallow roughly.
"Alright, alright, I get it," Standing up and rolling his eyes playfully. "C'mon sis, you have to admit that you would like to see that..." And another glare from Crystal that got him to shudder and raising both of his hands in surrender. "I'll see them in," Ryan pretended to adopt a very reluctant tone of voice before jogging inside of the lakehouse to at least get the front gate open for Ares and the others.
Drive straight, fratello, I'll meet you there. Once that was done and noticing that the airspeeder had gone through, Ryan got the gate closed again and he went to meet them right to the front door of the lakehouse. Ryan was currently shirtless and was wearing his swimming shorts when he saw the airspeeder approaching.
When all of its occupants finally got out, he got a look on everyone, and he also saw that Ice's son was with them. It got him to smile before looking at everyone. "Gees, what happened to you?" The last time he had seen Ares, he wasn't as buff as he was now, it seemed like he had gained some muscles and for a moment there it got Ryan to wonder what had caused that change but since he really didn't want to get into that right now as Ryan's very own girlfriend had declared this day to be a no drama day, Ryan just looked at all of them with a smile and just punched his brother on the shoulder. Brotherly love, he guessed before looking at Ali with a knowing smile. "Hey Ali-cat, you look good." Turning to look at Ice and Lukas, he smiled at both mother and son. "Welcome to Umgul you two and Ice always a pleasure, it has been a while. Hey lil' man."
Ryan gestured for them to follow him out back towards the pool and he looked at the area which was mist-free and particularly his sister. "Non so che cosa Ali ha fatto a lui, ma ha ottenuto più grande..." (I don't know what Ali did to him but he got bigger) Ryan chuckled before shaking his head and looking at Ali with an amused grin.

Nodding to Gorgeous to convey that indeed I am right, Pookie is indeed it good hands, it really is obvious especially when Franz and Ayodele seem to be having fun, talking with one another, smiles are giving here and there, what more can be said about that? Besides, Pookie is still a well put together guy and I am sure that if there is any red flags, he would know it by now. Right? Right ... Then again I cannot tell how further that is going to go between the two of them but I am sure that they'll enjoy getting to know one another further. Right now I am just enjoying my day and I am glad that Boss Man seems to be relaxed. He doesn't look crabby and it's a nice change to be seeing him that way, but when he states that work is taboo, I nod to confirm that it is so. "Indeed, no work talk today, but placing in appointments are fine."
Laughing softly and leaving that matter to be discussed between the both parties, I take a sip of my drink and look in Ryan's direction who seem to be laughing for some unfathomable reason, which is why I am looking at him perplexedly wondering if he has just hit his head. "Did you want to fill in the blank, baby girl? I ask her rhetorically and then look back at Hot Stuff still wondering what the heck he is talking about and in the meantime Baby Girl seems to be glaring at her brother warningly and finally I get it, when Ryan says that he'll see them in, I can only assume that he means his brother, his brother's girlfriend and the said cousin. Right, Ares is here ..."
Walking over my lounge seat to grab my dress, I put that on because I do not foresee to immediately go back into the water and I wait for Ryan to return with the others and when he does to my surprise I see that there is a toddler with the one I can only assume to be Ice. There goes Hot Stuff again talking in his family's dialect, I groan at that and walk in his direction pinching his side before looking at the others with a smile. "Hi, I am Ljiljana, or just call me Lily ... Before I could go on though, something does catch my eyes, I zoom straight up onto it, Alisha is wearing a engagement ring. A ring?! My eyes pop wide open and I look at Ares with an amused grin. Baby girl, you want to tell me why it is your little brother who will get hitched before you do? Laughing softly but also happily for the couple there that has just arrived. Congratulations!!! This day just keeps getting better and better! Waving my hand dismissively right in front of me, I look at everyone with a warm smile. Can I get you anything to drink or eat for the time being? I also hope that you all have the necessary to go into the pool because this has turned into a birthday, engagement pool party."

Crystal looked at Elika with an amused expression when she told Andros that there was a probability that Crystal was going on easy. "I haven't even done such thing, sweetie." Although in a way she was since she was going at a relatively easy pace just to gauge at what speed Crystal should be running, and she adjusted to that. With Andros' explanation though, well he had said it all considering that she often did request to have a certain standard. Crystal was trying to see what her limits were, often times she'd have Ayla as a sparring partner because Atlantis still refused to even hit Crystal, but it did not matter, either way he still helped her the best way he knew how just like Ryan who had been teaching her to heal and some variation of it. Elika's offer to Andros didn't bother Crystal one bit but she did not press the matter since she knew more or less what was his workout regimen though she did not hesitate to reiterate Elika's suggestion with a simple smile.
Soon enough Crystal felt a familiar brush and she turned to look in the direction of where she was certain her other brother was and upon hearing him, the corner of Crystal's lips twitched into a grin until she overheard Ryan laughing and saying a few things that got Crystal to look at him with narrowed eyes and shaking her head somewhat exasperatedly. "Ha ha, very funny, Ry. You very well know what would happen next." Looking upwards towards the sky and laughing since she was pretty sure that nothing whatsoever was going to happen and an elite taskforce because one of her brother had breached the lakehouse's security parameter, highly unlikely since she exactly knew where the security of this place was linked to.
"I'd rather kick his ass myself than see him get beat up by someone else." Crystal said very seriously but it was a joke because she was smiling before inclining her head to tell him okay. "That's right, Baby Girl, Ares is indeed here..." Closing her eyes briefly to get a sense of at least how he was feeling she decided to give up on that relatively quickly because she actually didn't want to know currently for whatever he wanted to discuss with her or Ryan, she really wanted to postpone that, and she was hoping that it wouldn't come until at least tomorrow.
Looking in the direction of those who had come from Honoghr, she did notice the physical changes in her brother, granted it had been a while since she had not seen him but he seemed to be more muscular, and of course Ryan had to point that out in his own way like Lily would have. "No comment, Ryan." Nevertheless she had to bite her lower lip to prevent herself from giggling and she finally smiled looking at her brother, after so long Crystal could see that he was fine, and unable to help herself, she walked over in his direction mainly and hugged him affectionately. "It has been a while..." Releasing him from the hug, she smiled at him before looking at Ali with a warm smile and finally her cousin and the kid with Ice. "And I a-..." Her sentence trailed off due to her childhood friend who pointed out something she had completely overlooked until now. "Because clearly they have known one another longer and that Ares has been in love with her ever since," Tossing one of her hand over her shoulder to indicate that it was a long time. Crystal left it there and smiled happily for the two of them. "Congratulations!"
That aside though, since Alisha did know her, Ice didn't nor the boy that was with her. "I am Crystal, it is nice to meet you, you have Elikapeka, Delaana over there." Crystal gestured to the women there by the pool and then towards the man in the pool. "That would be Andros, and over there," Looking over where Franz and Ayodele where she gave their names. "Franz and Ayodele, but what Lily has said, you must be exhausted, so can one of us get you anything?"

"You wear your heart on your sleeve, Ayodele says warmly after Franz has explained that he seldom hides his feelings, going on to joke about how his friends are formidable both individually and collectively and how he might might have the need to cultivate a poker face, shaking her head with a smile as she continues, and I for one would think it a shame to think that I was in any way responsible for you changing that about yourself, Franz. Her smile widening, Ayodele says, It is one of your more endearing qualities, in my opinion."
Laughing lyrically when Franz anticipates her answer to his unspoken request that she reveal anything about what secret plans might be underway, Ayodele nods and says in an amused and playful tone, "I will not say whether or not I have any idea, which is not to say that there is anything for me to have any ideas about, Franz. Rather than citing girl talk or invoking no comment, I think I will simply say that I have nothing further to say, as it does not, as your suggestions do, suggest that there is in fact anything to say, or not say as the case may be. Turning her head towards where Crystal is introducing everyone to a newly arrived group, Ayodele lifts a hand and smiles as she waves when she and Franz are introduced, and then looks back to Franz to ask, I imagine you will want to go and say your hellos?"

"I try to," Franz started to say before looking at her meaningfully with a warm smile. "At least with those that I care about and come to care about..." Sometimes he could be guarded when it came to details, that was a fact but when it came to his own being as a whole he didn't try to hide how he was feeling, perhaps a lot could attest to that. He still remembered being withdrawn somehow emotionally before he stepped into the government building when he had accepted his assignment, and just with the right people that surrounded him, he had managed to get out of his shell. "Oh no, when I meant poker face, I meant this," Franz sat up a little and faced Ayodele while remaining on his seat before adopting a pout and beaten puppy eyes blinking a few times and laughing softly. "Even if I tried though, you don't need to feel bad at all, because I am quite certain that they know me enough to know how I truly feel."
Smiling yet again when he heard Ayodele's laughter, he truly did like her laughter, it was soothing so to speak and enchanting. He just looked at her with a thoughtful expression as there was also something in the way she spoke that attracted him. He just liked how she phrased her sentences, at the same time he definitely had to keep up also. Either way it still amused him and he still was having a great time in her company. "Okay, women's solidarity takes gold, and I shan't pry any longer, for I am supposed to listen to a woman and therefore I will believe you on that." Smiling yet again until he turned his head in the direction of the exit of the lakehouse since he had sensed something but since he had not been too focused on that, he didn't know what exactly until he finally got the answer when Ares, in the flesh made his way here with Alisha and... Right, Alisha's cousin, Ice. Franz waved when he was introduced to the person that he had never met and looked back at Ayodele when she spoke to him.
"You imagine correctly, but not right now, I wouldn't want to smother them. Besides," Franz looked at Ares with a knowing smile and then glanced back at Ayodele. "Ares, over there, is Ryan's fraternal twin, and it has been a while since he and Crystal have seen him." Sure Franz was Ares' cousin by blood but still the siblings should come in priority in his opinion, so with that, he just looked at Ayodele with a sheepish smile. "And I also like where I am now... Although, can I get you anything, thirsty or hungry?"

Lakehouse/Lakehouse Pool
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
They had finally arrived at the Lakehouse, stopping outside the front security gate long enough for Ares to communicate their arrival, through the Force, to his siblings. After a few moments Ryan came jogging into view and opened the gate to let them drive through. Ares pulled the speeder to a stop and cut the engine before they all exited the craft to be greeted by Ryan, who gave Ares a brotherly punch in the shoulder before looking to Ali, Ice, and Lukas with a smile. Ali laughed lightly at Ryan giving Ares the shoulder punch as she gazed at both of them with an amused look, arching an eyebrow as if to say to Ryan, 'He totally deserves that.', before smiling with a gentle chuckle.
"Ryan, it's good to see you again. You look well and happy."
She smiled again as they followed Ryan around to the back of the house to the pool area, which was surprisingly mist free as the sun shown down brightly in the sky above. Pulling the sunglasses from the top of her head, Ali settled the small rectangular shaped lenses over her eyes to shield them from the seldom seen Umgul sun. As she did so, she caught a little bit of what Ryan was saying to Crystal. Something about Ali, herself, making Ares bigger. Arching an eyebrow, she knew he was probably talking about her fiance's recently gained muscle but her mind still took a swan dive straight into the proverbial gutter. Grinning teasingly, she quipped nonchalantly with a small wave of her left hand.
"I didn't do anything, he's always been big." She said with a totally innocent look crossing her face while saying the words and then left it at that. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Ice look at her and shake her head in silent amusement. Giving her cousin a light smile and a shrug, Ali's attention was soon diverted to Lily who had just walked up to stand beside Ryan and introduce herself to them. Ali had remembered Llily from hers and Ares' last trip to Umgul and smiled when the outspoken lawyer spoke. Lily had barely introduced herself to them when Ali noticed her gaze travel to the ring on Ali's left ring finger. After directing a teasing comment toward Crystal, Lily laughed and seemed genuinely happy for Ali and Ares as she congratulated them on their engagement before asking them if she could get them anything to eat or drink and saying that she hoped they had all come prepared with the necessary clothing for the gathering that had apparently just turned into a birthday/engagement pool party.
Ali was on the verge of protesting the idea of crashing someones already-in-progress birthday celebration but with the little she knew about Lily, she figured the quick witted lawyer would shut her down and insist on the dual celebration. So instead, she smiled and patted the bag at her shoulder to indicate that she had everything she needed for fun in the sun.
Once again, Ali's attention was diverted when Crystal came over to hug Ares and congratulate them on their engagement. After thanking both Lily and Crystal for their heartfelt sentiments, Ali slid her arm around Ares' waist as Crystal introduced everyone to Ice. Ali already knew most of the people present, given the exception of Delaana and Ayodele, who she greeted along with the others with a warm happy smile....

Lakehouse/Lakehouse Pool-----------------------------------------------------------------------Lukas' eyes lit up at Ares mentioning that there was a lake and a pool at the house they were going to. He liked water. He liked to splash around in the shallow pools and streams in the private Water Gardens back home on Honoghr, or as he called it: "Hongoh". Ice had even taught him how to tread water and doggie paddle his way to the edges/steps of the pools if he ever accidentally fell in. This was going to be a fun adventure just like Mommy had said! Ice laughed softly as Lukas clapped his hands together and nodded enthusiastically at Ares in anticipation of the thought of going swimming.
Soon enough they arrived at their destination, the Lakehouse. Ares had announced their arrival and not long after Ryan came jogging down to open the security gate to allow them admittance to the property. When the speeder was halted and shut down, Ice began to unbuckle a squirming Lukas from his car seat then taking his hand, she helped him out of the vehicle. Grinning, she gave Ryan a small nod when he smiled and welcomed them to Umgul. "Hello, Ryan. Yes it has been a long time. I'm happy to see you're doing well. The constant mist must certainly agree with you, ami." She gently teased. Lukas looked at Ryan with wide curious eyes, when Ryan called him 'lil man', trying to remember if he knew the man or not until Ice crouched down in front of him. "Lukas, this is Ryan. He's Ares' brother. You may not remember him since you were just a baby the last time the last time you saw him."Pursing his lips, Lukas looked Ryan up and down then after a moment he seemingly decided that Ryan was indeed a friend and gave him a wide smile. "Hi! I'm Lukas!" He paused for a moment before speaking in what he considered a whisper but really wasn't. "But I tink I wike lil man too!" He gave Ryan another toothy grin before looking back to Ice as she straightened up and gently took his small hand in hers as Ryan led the way to the backyard area of the Lakehouse. The sun was shining in this particular area and Ice was suddenly glad that she had her ever present round rimmed sunglasses perched on her nose.
One of the first people to walk over to them was a beautiful brunette who introduced herself as Lily before being distracted by the engagement ring on Ali's left hand. Looking past Ares, Lily chided another beautiful brunette, whom Ice recognized from Ali's past description, to be Crystal - Ares and Ryans sister - on the fact that her little brother was going to get hitched before she did. Ice smiled at Lily's teasing because it reminded her of Ali and herself at times.
Lukas, with an arm wrapped around Ice's leg and half hiding behind her, had stood quietly taking it all in. He wasn't quite sure about all of these new people they were meeting. They all seemed nice enough but he was having a bout of shyness at the moment, especially when Crystal began introducing everyone else that was present in the pool area. Ice smiled warmly at everyone, greeting them all in turn as she touched a reassuring hand to the top of Lukas' head."It's nice to meet all of you. I'm Ice and this...." She smiled, lovingly, down at Lukas who had tightened his grip on her leg just above her right knee. "...is Lukas."Lukas gazed around at everyone and gave a shy smile and wave of his hand before looking back to Crystal when she too, like Lily had moments earlier, offered them something to eat and drink. Ice was about to answer when she felt Lukas pat her leg a couple of times. Raising a questioning eyebrow, she knelt down to see what he wanted when he motioned to her. "What's wrong, sweetie?" She asked softly. Lukas looked around, unsure for a few seconds, before glancing at Crystal then back to Ice."I haffa go pee!" He said, in a half whispering voice as he wrapped his little arms around Ice's neck and buried his face in her shoulder. Smiling softly, she met Crystals gaze as she rose with Lukas in her arms. "Looks like the potty training is going better than I thought it would. May we use your restroom?" The generous offer of food and drinks would have to wait for a few moments, at least until they returned from the bathroom.

Lakehouse - Pool
Smiling as she cringes apologetically just the slightest bit even though she knows that she has nothing to apologize for, Elikapeka tells Ryan, "Um, maybe later? Thank you though," when he asks her if she is sure that she does not want to use the raft he had brought out. While she appreciates the gesture, Elika's self consciousness about the scarring on her arms that she keeps hidden at all times by wearing long sleeves makes even the mere idea of swimming an uncomfortable one.
Smiling with an arched eyebrow when Andros points out the glaringly obvious fact that he is far less crabby than usual, and is also glaring far less than he is known to do, Elika asks teasingly, "Oh really? I hadn't noticed. Really. Reaching over and lightly squeezing Andros' arm, Elika adds, It's nice to see you smiling for a change. Heck, she teases, it's nice to see that you can smile. I was starting to think you were incapable of it. Looking over towards Crystal with a warm smile when Andros assures her that she is in good hands where her fitness regime is concerned, Elika says, Oh, I know that already. Nodding when Andros says that he'll think about joining them for their daily run, Elika decides not to push for a more definite answer, instead smiling brightly over at Delaana when Andros suggests that she worry less about him and focus more on spending time with Delaana. Sure, Elika says when Andros asks if she can meet with him tomorrow about something work related, pursing her lips as she tries to remember if she has any other appointments or commitments before, giving herself the morning to get settled back in after being away from her office for awhile, she asks Andros, How does noon sound?" "Phew, Elika says with mock relief after Lily says that making appointments will be allowed for the day, while more directly work related conversation, apparently, will, not. I was worried I might have violated the rules by making that appointment with Andros. Laughing and nodding her head when Crystal assures her that there was no taking it easy on her going on earlier in the morning, Elika says, I'll take your word on that hon'. Giving Delaana's hand a soft squeeze, Elika smiles kittenishly as, after biting her lower lip as though suddenly nervous about what she is thinking about asking, she turns to ask her and asks uncertainly, What, um, would you think about maybe getting dinner together tomorrow night, my Ceesi?"
Ares, Ali and the others traveling with them arrive not long after Elika asks Delaana about the possibility of having dinner together the following evening, and since Elika doesn't want to interrupt any family business that may have brought Crystal and Ryan's sibling to Umgul, she decides to stay at the bar rather than join Crystal and Lily when they go over to greet them all. Lifting a hand when Crystal introduces everyone and gets to her, Elika smiles and waves, feeling a tinge of nervous self-consciousness begin to gather within her since she has not met Ice or the young boy she assumes is her son previously; even the mere prospect of meeting new people seldom failing to make her social anxiety flare up.

Lakehouse — Pool
At the front door when Ryan had been the one to meet them, there was something that Ares immediately understood. His fraternal twin might not have that inclination to want to know today at least what Ares wanted to talk about. It all started with a joke and what had happened to Ares, which only caused him to tilt his head from side to side and shrug noncommittally. Then there was the punch from Ryan which got Ares to chuckle at the gesture. Right one thing he did remember today was also a birthday, Franz's as a matter of fact, yeah no wonder his brother and even his sister might not want to get to that currently.
Being led to the pool area which was mistless, Ares saw everyone barred a few like Atlantis and Mace to begin with but it also seemed that the Drakes weren't accounted for. Ares closed his eyes momentarily to try and see if he could feel them around but he didn't get to that at all since he heard his brother saying something in their family's dialect before Ali quipped in which got Ares to chuckle nervously and looking at her with a smirk. Thankfully though, his embarrassment and speechlessness was quickly covered when Crystal walked in his direction to hug him. Ares returned the hug in an affectionate way before pulling his head back truly glad to be seeing her well. "It has, and you look great. Where is At—..." His question didn't quite get out since his sister's childhood friend seemed to have seen something, the engagement ring on Ali's finger.
Ares smiled warmly at the congratulations and thanked them, before looking at the people in particular that he didn't know and he inclined his head respectfully. "Hi, I am Ares and this is Alisha." But apparently now this had turned out to be a birthday/ engagement pool party, although he really didn't want to impose but if there was one thing he had seemed to retain, there was no use to contradict what was what if he knew what was good for him.
"I'll show them the way." Ares said when Isis requested to use the restroom before gesturing for her to follow him, he knew without a shadow of doubt that his sister wouldn't even mind anyways. She was the welcoming type and always said mi casa e su casa but he stopped on his tracks and looked at the occupants of this lakehouse. "It's still at the same area, right?" Ares asked dubiously as he knew that there was still an architect amongst them and perhaps this place had gone through a few renovations, but apparently not since whomever nodded gave him the answer. "I'll be right back, amore." Giving Ali a gentle peck on her lips, Ares led Isis and Lukas towards the restroom although he smiled to Elikapeka, Delaana and Andros on his way inside before finally showing the restroom to Isis. "This is it."

"Gorgeous, Calling out to her in a matter of factly tone as well as looking at her with an amused expression. it is Boss Man, he has some leeway, but it only starts and ends with making appointments. Smiling at Andros warmly because after all I am very sure also that he'd rather not linger on that, and if he did he would have pressed on by now anyways. At least for today."
Right now I am more following on that interaction between the siblings, Ryan and Crystal, I did get some of the words and automatically that makes me stifle a laughter, which soon turns into a full out laughter when Alisha states out the obvious. "Well ... Wow and here I thought I was the one who always had my mind in the gutter. That must be quite a hook." Winking playfully at Alisha before overhearing CKayne telling her brother to not say any comment, I am surprised that she still hasn't warned me to begin with but it doesn't matter, I have said my piece and now I am just glad that Ares has arrived because the man has been AWOL and his siblings have been worried about him all of this time.
Oh! There is my chance. Wait ... Should I be even doing this? Ask him to make a cake but I have also turned this party into a birthday/ engagement one, ah whatever, he can teach me, or he can teach his sister. "Alisha ... Looking back at her with a knowing smile before glancing at the two other siblings. I need to steal your well proportioned man for a moment, otherwise I am afraid that his siblings might kick his ass for not even contacting them before ... I am sure that she gets the point although I am wondering if she knew the reasons why Ares hasn't been in contact with both Ryan and Crystal, but since this is still a no drama day, I don't even want to really get into that. I'll be right back!"
Following suite to where Ares, Ice and Lukas have headed off, I find Ares there after he has shown the way to Ice. "I have a question for you, I am sure that you are quite aware that it is Pookie's, or Franz's birthday too, but we do not have cake, could you make one or even teach one of us how to make one?"

Once again, Delaana had been a witness of Andros and Elika's relationship. It took a lot of courage to be able to tease the Vice-Governor the way Elika was doing right now. Lana was torn between keeping a straight face and smiling in amusement, but she managed to reign that in and just stand there aside perfectly content in just observing for the time being. Lana smiled happily when Andros had urged Elika to spend some time with her instead of fussing about him and that just got Lana to look at Elika with a somewhat surprised expression but also a smile that she also gave to Andros, gratefully.
Noticing that Elika was biting her lips, after getting a squeeze on her hand, Lana looked at the architect dubiously wondering if everything was alright for a split second, until Lana finally got the answer and smiled with a knowing expression. Of course, Lana would be all for it, and of course she wanted it to happen but she only wondered how would that work since from what she knew, Franz was mandated to Elika, right? Easy fix Lana supposed and also perhaps much more agreeable for Elika. "Tomorrow night, I am all yours, although," Lana nibbled her lower lip thoughtfully as she continued to look at Elika. "Did you have a particular place in mind? If not perhaps you'd want to have dinner at my place?" Delaana suggested genuinely, anything to make her comfortable, although in hindsight perhaps that was too forward, but it was nothing like that. From what Lana knew, Elika wasn't comfortable with crowded places, especially when people that surrounded her were people she didn't know about.
And then there was Franz... Lana didn't want to have any problems there, especially when if she had to guess, Franz would be standing sentry duty in the restaurant too perhaps, but considering that Lana preferred to leave that choice to Elika, she just gave her hand another squeeze and smiled. "Whichever you prefer, my Shakal, restaurant or back at my place." Letting Elika mull over that decision for the time being, Lana glanced on her side when she saw that Ares and some others had arrived. Lana waved at them when she was introduced after she had gotten her laughter under control due to Lily and Alisha mainly.
"Something tells me this party might even turn crazier." Lana murmured softly into Elika's ear before pecking her cheek and moving her hand onto the small of Elika's back to rub it gently.

Oh boy... Crystal scratched her temple while biting her lower lip because in just that moment, she already knew that Alisha and Lily are going to get along just great. Reigning over her laughter, Crystal looked at Ice who had introduced herself and her son. At least Crystal assumed that he was her son by just the way the woman had looked at the boy. "It is nice to meet you both, and welcome." Crystal sincerely said until she noticed that Lukas seemed to be needing something, smiling at the boy and looking back at Ice with an amused grin, Crystal nodded and was about to indicate and even lead them there, but Ares got there first and rolled her eyes playfully.
"Yes Ares, still the same, I haven't destroyed anything... Yet." Shaking her head with an amused grin before noticing that Lily had stalked off after her brother, Crystal was starting to have that feeling that this day was going to be a good one. Looking back at Alisha, since she and one of her brother were engaged, Crystal smiled warmly, she supposed that sooner or later they were going to be sisters-in-law, but then that got her to thinking, was really an engagement that pulled Ares away for so long? Crystal preferred to not assume and just looked at Alisha peacefully.
"Have you decided a date yet?" Crystal asked curiously and she also had that look, but she was torn in between asking and not. Really after all that time she and Ryan had been trying to contact Ares, that moment he resurfaced, he perhaps would have sounded more overjoyed, or at least wouldn't have taken all of this time to get back in touch. "How did he propose, more importantly?" Those were details, or gossips that every women liked to know anyways and after all they were all going to be one big family, so hopefully Ali would forgive her for asking, but before getting into that, Crystal lifted a hand to say that it could wait right now and instead looked towards the bar.
"Do you need anything and also please tell me you do have a bikini or swimsuit because otherwise Lily might get on your case and you don't want that to happen." Despite the joking tone Crystal had currently, there was some truth in that about Lily, originally this day had been dubbed as bikini fantasy but now it appeared that it changed and that exactly got Crystal to look in the direction of the lakehouse because something told her that Lily was perhaps asking her brother to get the cake done.

Ayodele cannot help but laugh heartily when Franz demonstrates his 'poker face', and it is a moment before she has regained enough control to say in a tone at once affectionate and amused, "I believe you have either mischaracterized the expression you are attempting to perfect, Franz, or are misinformed as to what is meant by the expression poker face. On the other hand, she says with a smile, you have mastered the adorable, saddened puppy look. Adopting a playfully searching expression, Madieke teases, I imagine you have gotten away with many, many things by calling on that mastery in the past, or, she laughs merrily, broken many a heart with it."
"You would seem to have little choice in the matter, Franz, Ayodele points out with a playfully smug smile after Franz says that he chooses to believe her where plots and their possible existence are concerned. Shaking her head after Franz asks if he can get her anything, Ayodele says, Not at the moment, but thank you. Turning her head to the side to look at Franz, Ayodele smiles her amused smile and says affectionately, It would be a shame, after all, to ask you to leave seeing how happy you are to be where you are, and how pleased I am that you are where you are."
