Franz's apparently perpetual worry about getting into trouble with his female friends amuses Ayodele, giving rise to her equally apparently ever-present lyrical laughter, and she rests a hand on his arm while asking him teasingly, "Are your rather striking female friends so fearsome, Franz? Or, she smiles with a playfully arched eyebrow, am I detecting a hint that it is instead you that simply enjoys playing the hapless victim in hopes of inciting my sympathies? Narrowing her eyes in playful warning, Ayodele says, I believe I shall have to be quite careful with what I allow you to enkindle in me." Giving Franz's arm a gentle squeeze accompanied by a smile to make it plain that she is merely teasing in case his propensity for worry might lead him to read unnecessarily into what she had said, Ayodele then glances around after he asks where she prefers to sit.
Smiling at Delaana when asked if what she has selected is sufficient to sate her appetite, Ayodele lifts her plate illustratively as she says, "This will be more than enough, thank you. Concurring with Delaana's suggestion about the seating arrangements, Ayodele says, And I do believe that you are right. Languidly sliding her free arm into Franz's, Ayodele smiles and asks, Shall we, Franz?"

Smiling while shaking my head with a chuckle while Atlantis bemoans the fate he clearly so willingly encourages as well as the state of affairs he undoubtedly prefers, I pat Crystal on the shoulder with a playful look of consolation as, pretending to ignore Atlantis' continuing diatribe, I ask her, "How ever do you manage to put up with the continual whining? You have my sympathies," I add, wincing as Atlantis, much to his delight I am sure, receives a punch from Crystal.
Smiling to myself when I overhear the discussion about where everyone intends to sit, I prepare to relocate from my seat near the garden should it be decided that everyone eats together in the recessed lounge area instead, using the brief moment alone to check my datapad in case anything of importance has come up at the academy on Corellia or elsewhere, only to learn, much to my relief, that I need not have been concerned.

Gasping dramatically when Crystal got Serrin's sympathy and Atlantis did not, he looked at both women with thin lips and huffed. Atlantis knew he did not fool any one, especially the both of them. "It's one of my charming and adorable traits, Serrin! Do not deny eet!." Atlantis laughed and rolled his eyes before lifting both of his hands in surrender just in case Crystal was playing with the thought of punching him again. "Okay, okay, I give up." Looking with narrowed eyes in the women's direction, all of them who knew him that much Atlantis took a deep breath and shook his head. "That goes for all of you ladies, I am not going to act as a training dummy today, nuh uh."
Looking over his shoulder after having asked that question if they would be able to fit right there in the recess area, Atlantis looked at Ryan with an amused grin. "Call it a defect of my spacial awareness after receiving a punch from your sister." Shruggining nonchalantly after saying that casually, he repeated once again to Crystal. "Punching me causes a defect with my spacial awareness?" He took a step back because yes he knew that he was BSing and he also knew that Crystal would know but that was Atlantis, he was a magnet for trouble and he received punches from his girlfriend.
"Good question," Atlantis told Ares but he supposed that he would let anyone else fill in that question, Raan and Mace were always the busy kinds anyways, and come to think of it, he had not seen Raan in a long time and like he had mentioned to Serrin the previous night, whatever personal matters the Senator was dealing with, Atlantis really had no idea what those were about, not that Atlantis didn't care but Raan knew where to find Atlantis if he needed help. That was that.
Closing his eyes momentarily and repicking his plate, Atlantis made his way towards the recess lounge area since that was where they were going to eat and he took a seat right there before placing his plate on the table right in front of him. "I know that Crystal might have said something earlier, when you have arrived with the Calmcacils, but just for my peace of mind, how did this morning's meeting go back in the City?" Atlantis asked Serrin thoughtfully since he had not stayed around there after leaving them in the hands of the Ranger who was still pissed off at him but there was nothing he could do about that right now, and hopefully he would be able to fix that with Madieke. Unfortunately though, there were a lot of things that he wasn't in liberty to discuss, well not really, it was just the fact that it wasn't his story to tell and he did not want to involve others that weren't and didn't want to be involved in this all mess up.

Franz nodded his head quickly, too quickly perhaps, and he even had wide eyes before he pointed in the direction of both Atlantis and Crystal, the latter having just punched the former. "They are a couple, and if she does that to him, imagine what she could do to me!" Franz took a deep breath trying to control his heartbeat, although he had to admit this was a much more familiar territory to him, just him joking and him enjoying the occurrences around him. Though he did look at Ayodele with wide eyes before his stature visibly relaxed and he smiled looking at her sheepishly. "Anything I can get, it'll make me happy already." He sincerely said, it wasn't the kind of guy that was asking for too much, at least he hoped not. Right now, she seemed to be having fun and so was he.
It appeared to him by the exchange Ayodele had with Delaana and Elika suggesting he and Ayodele join them to the recessed area, Franz looked at Elika with a warm smile and he even smiled at Delaana, inclining his head slightly. "Since it is nicely asked," Franz started to say with a playful smile before looking at Ayodele when she slid her free arm to his, he briefly placed his hand on top of hers giving it a gentle squeeze before shifting his plate to that same hand. "With pleasure,"
Leading her towards the recessed area, Franz let her seat first before following and sitting next to her, but still he respectfully leaved some space between the two of them. He still did not begin to eat as he preferred to wait for the others to join them here. "So, you do not eat meat, that is good to know for next time, that is if I ever have that courage to actually cook because, I am not that good at it." Franz said making a face and grinning soon after. Some of the guys here knew how to cook, that much he knew and perhaps he should ask for a tutorial on that.

"In the garden? Elikapeka asks Lily, head tilted to the side with a mildly incredulous look that quickly gives way to a thoughtful one as her internal landscaping and decorator side kicks in and she starts considering the possibilities where making a change or two to the layout of the pool area. Shaking her head as though to clear it when, fortunately for Elika, Crystal announces her preference to table the discussion of changes to the layout of the pool area for the time being, Elika smiles with an apologetic shrug of her shoulders as she tells Lily, Oops, looks like we will have to play with ideas another time, beautiful. Looking over at Crystal, Elika cheerily says, Consider it tabled, hon'. Reaching over to give Franz's arm a gentle pat when he and Ayodele agree to join them while dining, Elika smiles, happy to see that the two appear to be getting on well even though Franz still seems a bit nervous or maybe just tentative around his date, and says, Great, it'll be fun."
Smiling when Ryan offers to help with anything that might come up as being needed, Elika says, "Oh, um, Ok, will do, thank you, and tugs at her sleeves before Atlantis joins them and provides her a distraction from her unfounded anxiety. Nodding after Atlantis proposes that a few chairs be moved so that everyone can sit in or around the lounge area, a suggestion which Delaana agrees with, Elika smiles as she says, That sounds easy enough, a few more chairs would make sure no one feels too crowded or anything. Good idea. Setting her plate down, she asks Atlantis, Need any help with the rearranging? Lifting a hand, she tells Atlantis, Actually, I've got it, you just eat. Giving Delaana's hand a gentle squeeze, Elika tells her, Be right back," and then heads off to move a few of the lounge chairs near the recessed area with couches so that anyone not wanting to feel too cramped will have another option available to them.
Returning to Delaana's side after having moved a few of the chairs around, Elika puts an arm around her waist as she picks up her plate, smiling kittenishly as she asks playfully, "Did you miss me terribly, my Ceesi? Walking over to the recessed area, Elika decides to sit in one of the chairs rather than on one of the couches in an effort to keep her claustrophobia from exacerbating her usual anxiety levels in social situations where she doesn't exactly know everyone present well. Laughing when Franz points out to Ayodele that he is not that good when it comes to cooking, Elika crinkles her nose and teases him by telling Ayodele, It sounds like you might want to stick to restaurants. Not, she raises a hand, a mildly concerned look surfacing on her face as she begins to worry that she might not want to make jokes until she has a better feel for Ayodele, um, that there's anything wrong with that. Restaurants are great. I love them. Willing herself to shut up before she starts babbling, Elika takes a bite of her steak and, to change the subject, smiles as she tells Lily, This is great, beautiful. Cooked to perfection."

Pointing at Gorgeous when Baby Girl asks me where I exactly want that table, but now that I think about it ... That's like Kayne's sacred space too, although she has not shut me down completely. "But I love your ideas, Gorgeous, Pretending to sigh wistfully before looking at Kayne with a jaded but also amused expression, I arch my eyebrow playfully. Really, Kayne? Table table talk? Stop going corporate on me on a day off. Laughing softly before looking at Gorgeous and raising my hand in surrender, since Kayne pretty much managed to put a lid on that talk for the time being, and Elika is all for tabling the table talk. Mom wins again ..."
Not really dwelling on the table talk, but just shoving it aside right now, Baby Girl asked me to bring it up again at a later time, so I am not considering that talking finalized but just tabled. My attention is mainly on Ryan who summons his brother in that familiar way, one of the best parts of that evening before it went down the drain thanks to that skank, And that is putting it nicely in my own definition, And again just like last time, Ares comes forth, already shirtless, well he wasn't shirtless that evening, just unbuttoned and I have to admit, Yep, he did gain some muscles.
Walking over to one of the couches there in the recessed area with my plate, since I am assuming that everyone is going to sit here, except for Gorgeous and the Hapan Bombshell from the looks of it, I just idly take a sip of my drink and lower the glass when Gorgeous compliments my cooking. "Success! Dancing on the spot and laughing softly before glancing at Ryan and rolling my eyes playfully, Though, I admit to having a little help from Ryan, It really is an admission and besides, Kayne has said that he could help me out. It's like the three of them have that innate thing going on." Of course I mean the Solaris as a whole, and I also know that Kayne has learned a little bit from their dad, but that is a story for another time, and right now I am more interested with what is going on with Pookie and Ayodele.
"What Gorgeous said, restaurants best way to go, and apparently that is the place where you can connect easily without that much distraction. Winking playfully at both Elika and Ayodele since it did so to speak began there for the two of them, I smiling knowingly looking at Pookie, Then again, I am sure that you are not asking to be impressed, right? Addressing myself to Ayodele in particular, since I am at least positive on that fact, I mean c'mon, she is already here, and clearly she hasn't come here for food! So I am sure that whatever you two do in the next couple of days, will still be perfect." That said, I finally start eating because I am actually hungry and I am very sorry for not waiting for the others, How does Kayne ever do it and not snack whenever she is cooking, I will never know ...

"Oh, sì, lo so..." Ryan told his sister, knowing quite well that he was indeed asking for trouble with their recently muscular brother, but still it did not change the fact that for a long time, Ares was comm silent and this song was just a little payback he could deliver. Speaking of the muscular brother, there Ares was and Ryan looked at his brother with an amused grin before laughing, though the laughter died down a little and he glanced from Atlantis who had given an answer, which turned out to not be an answer and he Ryan looked at his brother with a faint shrug. "Per essere onesti, io non l'ho ancora visto... Però che cosa ha detto Atlantis." (To be honest, I have not seen him yet... What Atlantis said though.) Ryan shrugged slightly because truth was, he had not seen Raan yet ever since he stepped foot on this planet, and Mace it was rare to see her, whatever they were both doing, he just knew that they were both busy.
"Andiamo a mangiare." Ryan said as he took a plate that was his and passed along the plate there that was for Ares and he led the rest towards the recessed area right there, though he noticed that Elika had preferred to sit around, no doubt because it was more comfortable for her which was why he didn't bring that up anyways, because it wasn't what he usually did with someone he didn't know that much. Sitting next to his girlfriend and finding himself in a conversation that involved her, Elika too but also Franz and Ayodele, he preferred remaining mute for the time being and just smiled as he began to eat his food. "Nicely done you," Ryan nudged his girlfriend's shoulder and looked at the salad and the gratin there on his plate smiling at both women right there on the chair. "Perfect side dishes too!" Smiling once more and looking at the others mainly his former boss, Alisha Mercotti, Ryan remembered that question he had asked her earlier.
"Tell me Alicat, you and Ares here away from your duties back home, how is the place fairing?" Ryan obviously meant RDMC and something told him that perhaps it was now Jena in charge, but then again he could be mistaken, it had been a while since he had not stepped a foot in there.

"Are you so easily pleased then, Franz? Ayodele asks with an amused smile to match her playfully amused tone, laughing lyrically afterwards with a shake of her head that suggests that she continues to find his somewhat self-deprecating sense of humor amuses even if she does not yet understand whether it is a mask he wears or indicative of some deeply set sense of self-doubt within him that makes him act such a part. Her tone remains playful, though her eyes suggest she is also sincere as Ayodele says, You seem to me one that deserves more than just anything, Franz. You should not fear to quest for those things you want, or to ask of others precisely what it is you want of them. Why settle for less than what it is you want? Life, Ayodele laughs lyrically, almost as though at some private joke of her own even though her words are meant sincerely, is too short, is it not?"
"I never said I did not eat meat, Ayodele tells Franz with an amused smile after he states he has interpreted the fact she has not chosen to partake of the steak as meaning she is a vegetarian. Elikapeka and Lily's comments on the merits of restaurants negate the need to dwell any longer on Ayodele's dietary habits, a development she finds more than agreeable for reasons of her own, and she laughs lyrically as she agrees with Lily that, I am not asking to be impressed, no. Looking over at Franz after Lily suggests that no matter what she and Franz might do together it will be perfect, Ayodele says in her customarily amused tone, Perfection? Ah, but that is quite rare, is it not? Her smile taking on a playful tone, she says, Fortunately for me, she reaches over and rests her hand on Franz's forearm, Franz claims he shall be content with less than perfection. Squeezing Franz's forearm briefly, Ayodele teases him by sighing as though in relief before saying, How fortunate for me, as I am far from perfect."

Tchun, my left lekku, curls around the front of my neck with its tip coiled around my upper bicep, while Tchin drapes over my right shoulder as I sit, and I give Atlantis a mildly curious look as he asks how our meeting in the city went earlier today; surprised that he brings the subject up when a ban has been placed on potentially uncomfortable subjects for the duration of the gathering. Deciding to answer in a fashion that prevents the possibility of any unwanted topics from arising, I smile as I joke, "It went quite well after you left, referring to Atlantis' earlier comment as I explain in a curious, albeit amused and playful tone, The SEO's mood seemed to improve considerably after you left. She is, I take it, immune to all of your charming and adorable traits? While I suspect that there is more to the story than a simple clash of personality, I also suspect that Atlantis will not elect to share the story at the moment, if ever, and so, to answer his question more completely without risking venturing into details that might violate the no drama clause, I simply say circumspectly, She has filled us in, and found a way for us all to contribute to the continuing . . . effort."

Franz smiled genuinely at Elika when she stated that it would be fun, he sure hoped so, then again he wasn't going to project himself too ahead as he'd rather not. One thing was for sure, as he noticed Elika rearranging some seats, he knew that she really wasn't going to sit with them per se, in that squared recess area, he did not question it, and he didn't even bring it up. Franz knew her enough to know things and right now he'd rather not draw any attention onto her. One thing was certain though, Franz had to purse his lips when Lily called Crystal mom, he was probably going to invite a glare or even a punch from Crystal but he did not hesitate to add to Lily's statement. "You forgot the hot part," Looking at Crystal with wide and innocent eyes, Franz smiled sheepishly and chuckled. "The saleslady at Clothe Encounters said it, it wasn't me." Shaking his head as if to wash himself from that outrageous, or supposedly outrageous nickname, Franz took a moment to take a deep breath and just look at Ayodele who was asking him a question.
"I guess you could say that I am easily pleased, and like you have said, life is too short," Franz said softly, although she did have a point, but he didn't want to force things in a certain way, it always blew him on the face when he used to do that anyways, so now he was undertaking a more uncomplicated approach, he supposed. "For now, I like enjoying the simple things in life, as for fearing to quest the things I want, well..." Franz smiled knowingly just looking at her after a brief pause. "You are here, so that is already great for me." His smile turned into a sheepish one and he just leaned back against the backrest there and looked at both Elika and Lily, the two of them were in a way complimentary from what he had observed.
He just liked that about them, and then add Crystal to that, it was a great trio of friends, just balancing each others the whole time. Franz grinned when he felt Ayodele squeezing his forearm and he could not help but to just drop the fork he had been using on his plate and just slide his hand up to lace their fingers together and giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "That makes two of us..." Franz reiterated to the point of not being perfect. Releasing her hand as he continued to look at her, Franz made the wrong assumption earlier, so she ate meat? Well at least from the looks of it, she did eat salad and fruits, but he was certain there was more to her and her preferences. Franz supposed he could know about that later or whenever and he just looked at Lily with grin. "She showed me one of her favorite spots in the park, and I told her that I would show her one of mine, so that is something we'll have to see whenever she and I are both free next time." Ayodele still have her work at TaSpa! and he was still mandated to Elika, and with everything that had been going on with the Vyridian brothers, Franz did not really foresee Andros or Atlantis relieve him from that, not that Franz wanted to be relieved anyways, he was certain that by now, the press knew that Elika was close to Crystal and Lily, since they were at the precinct, so that could really get crazy.
Plus there was something that Atlantis had said voiced out through Crystal the previous night...

If it were someone else other than Serrin taking a jab at him currently, Atlantis was certain that he wouldn’t be taking what she had just said as a joke. He respected her and he clearly knew her, like she knew him in a way, so there was definitely some leeway here and there on certain matters. Atlantis was certainly glad that Madieke had kept her mind open and didn’t put Serrin or even the Calmcacils in the same plate as he and Mace, because quite honestly? For what Atlantis knew, Serrin and Aerandir weren’t like him at all when it came to official capacity.
Atlantis was smiling and he chuckled softly and rolled his eyes playfully before looking upwards, he knew that Serrin wouldn’t be fooled anyways and she had elected to keep the conversation light due to the current no drama clause for the day. “One of these days, Serrin, one of these days, you shall be immune to that too, trust you me on that.” It was true that Serrin knew him, like he knew her; after all Corellia and Roon were places where they got to know one another much more and also if he recalled correctly, there was also that talk about how he had supposedly denied the Jedi Order.
Seemed so long ago, but at the same time everything was still branded on his mind. Atlantis had secrets, and he was still keeping many promises; promises that a few knew but Atlantis restricted the access to that knowledge and he preferred the need to know basis. He understood that it was incomprehensible for the Rangers or the Detectives, plus it had been a very long time since he no longer worked with people that weren’t attuned to the Force and he really was starting to despise that. He did turn out to be a stupid jerk yesterday. Which really was despicable now that he had retrieved all of his senses; but that fortunately wasn’t something he was going to bring up currently, with the clause in place.
At least Madieke did fill them in like Serrin had just told him and that made Atlantis simply smile and incline his head. “I am glad, that it turned out to be just fine, and I am also glad that I didn’t hang around, or really that would have been bad.” Atlantis grinned and looked at Morgan for a little moment and then back at Serrin; “I would imagine, that the SEO was surprised to see you with a young girl.”
Atlantis wasn’t asking for a confirmation or denial for that question to be perfectly honest, he was just making conversation and besides, the Calmcacils seemed to be a fun bunch. Wanting to move along from that topic of conversation, Atlantis smiled knowingly; “I trust you have made the Academy or your room there comfortable?”

Delaana smiled and inclined her head in acknowledgement when Ayodele told her that what she was going to eat was more than enough. "Don't mention it, please." Lana said softly with another smile. While it must have been surprising that she was the one offering, due to the fact that she obviously wasn't the host, Lana was still feeling a little guilty to just making gratin without really asking if that was going to satisfy everyone else. She guessed that right now she was worrying for nothing as no one just yet had said anything against it.
Amused by the ongoing conversation by those that actually lived here, Lana was just pleasantly listening to the interactions between them. But she didn't really linger on that as she noticed that Elika was already moving around some chair after dismissing Atlantis from doing that. Even though that indeed Lana knew that they would be able to fit in there, even reiterated by Ayodele, Lana knew why Elika preferred to not sit there, and hopefully that would be fine with the others, not that they would be far away since they would really be close from there. "You sure you don't need any help?" Lana asked Elika who was done anyways, but still Lana did pout playfully and just looked at Elika, "As a matter of fact, I did," Lana said playfully before wrapping her other arm around Elika's waist and walking over with her towards the recess area. "I wasn't prepared for you just leaving like that."
Taking a seat right there on the lounge chair and placing the plate on her lap and being relatively next to Franz, Ayodele, Lily and Ryan she could hear the conversation just fine, also from the way Franz was looking at Ayodele, and how she was also willing to touch him, that made Lana smile warmly. "They are so cute..." Lana murmured to Elika, obviously referring to Franz and Ayodele although Franz seemed really shy, Lana did not really peg him for the shy type but she guessed that it really took a lifetime to get to know a person. Nodding to reiterate Elika's statement to Lily, Lana laughed softly with a knowing expression on her features. "It's a good thing that you do have back up from one who has cooking in his blood,"
Her meat was indeed cooked the way she wanted to, and she was glad for that, plus it turned out that even her gratin was done just fine, she knew she could do better, but this was good enough. Lana smiled at Ryan when he complimented the side dishes, "Thank you," Looking at Elika playfully before saying teasingly. "Despite being alone in the kitchen together, you and I did just great, if I may say so myself." Winking playfully, Lana took another bite of her meal and just enjoyed the taste of it.

For a moment she was just tempted to repunch Atlantis, but Crystal knew that he would probably just enjoy it, so what was good for her right now was to absolutely do nothing at all. Crystal even went as far as briefly looking skyward when Serrin even asked her how she ever put up with Atlantis' whining. To be perfectly honest, she liked seeing many facets of Atlantis, and he could always act childish whenever it was the perfect occasion, or the contrary, he could really be serious. Atlantis was a lot of things, for his faults and great things about him, she just loved him, and who he was. Crystal was never going to deny that, and plenty of times, even though perhaps he didn't know it, he was her rock. He could also be very selfless and take in everything without so much complaint and that was just what she apprehended the most, how much could he really take because he blew a fuse? One of the reasons why she clearly didn't speak to him about the things that were haunting her mind lately.
After refilling the drinks of her guests, if they so wished it, Crystal took her plate and stopped on her tracks when she heard her other brother speaking to his twin asking about who she assumed to be Raan, and Mace since the latter was the Vos that he had treated back then and removed her facial scars. A knowledge she had gotten from Elika. "Lui è occupato, Ares, Andros è responsabile per il momento". (He is busy, Ares, Andros is in charge for the time being.) Crystal told Ares about the whole set up of the government. As for Mace, she clearly had no clue, though they did see her yesterday and had told them that if she could she would make her way here that very evening, but that did not happen, again Mace was one mysterious person, it was just Mace.
Sitting down where there was some space there, she caught up with Lily and looked at her childhood friend jadedly but soon she narrowed her eyes in Franz's direction. "If you were alone, Pookie, I would have smacked you." Crystal said very seriously, although she wouldn't do that but she did look at Lily and poked her tongue out. "Automatic reflex, Jankovic, besides I just said table that talk, I didn't speak about the P&L or the whole amortization of a potential loan or asset throughout the years." Groaning, since she indeed went corporate right now, Crystal lifted her hand in surrender and rolled her eyes playfully. To shut herself up, she just took a bite of her food and smiled as it was just perfect cooking from Lily plus the side dishes were also perfect. It was just great to not be cooking for once here, and this would be twice in two days. She should probably enjoy that while it lasted.
While Crystal had preferred that a few talks didn't happen, she didn't say a thing against it, since it really wasn't developed, thankfully. She was surprised though to find out that Atlantis and the SEO on the case had clashed, for whatever reason, she had no idea and she clearly didn't want to ask about it, but she still frowned briefly. "I am sure that if not last night, Serrin will make it to her own comfort, after all, Atlantis, you call it a haven." For going there from time to time, Crystal knew that Atlantis cherished that Academy there, for Elika did capture perfectly what he wanted to emphasize to begin with. "Whenever you have the time, Serrin, go to the gardens there, and also leave the mist, you'll find that spot relaxing as you can hear the little waterfall there."

*Fortunately, the conversation going on around his daughter seemed to die down, allowing Aerandir to relax a bit. Perhaps he was being a bit overprotective, perhaps he didn't want to think about how his still-small daughter's age was growing ever closer to that period in which she would be taking more interesting in some of the things being mentioned... Now he missed little Lucy, and wanted to hold her close. Damn, he was too sentimental for his own good sometimes.
Finally the call for food was given, so he and Michelle climbed out of the pool, grabbing their towels to dry off a bit. Then they made their way to where the food was being served, only to have theirs handed to them. They said their thanks, Aerandir looking around for a place to sit. He hadn't exactly gotten a chance to truly mingle yet, but at the same time he wasn't truly one to get to know another while eating; food came first, far as he was concerned.
Regardless, it seemed everyone was moving over toward another area, so Aerandir balanced his plate in one hand, ignoring the heat seeping into his fingertips, and took two seats in his other hand, gesturing for Michelle to do the same for a chair of her own; an odd choice, considering they were Jedi, but Aerandir often preferred doing things the simple way.* "C'mon you, Lokay can wait a few more moments," *he said to Morgan with a smile, admittedly a bit jealous of the tailrig's special treatment.
Unsure where to sit, he decided it was best to sit near Atlantis and Serrin, so he set the two chairs down a comfortable distance away and took a seat, Michelle beside him.*

*Morgan blinked confusedly when Andros decided not to explain what he meant, that it would be a shame since Morgan would no longer surprised. Now she was just even more curious. Surprised by what?! What kind of shenanigans did these people get up to?! She had to know! But she knew it would be futile to ask, so she reluctantly kept quiet.
The conversations came and went, and Morgan was getting bored by them. So she watched Lukas instead, who made a kind of random comment about Ice's scars. Did someone mention scars? She must have missed it. She glanced at her left shoulder, the circular line of scar tissue visible beneath the shoulder strap of her bathing suit, and considered mentioning them. Deciding not to for the moment, she simply watched Lukas again, occasionally paying vague attention to the cartoon he was watching.
Finally, the food came out, and before Morgan could go and retrieve her plate, Crystal had come with it, along with another plate, this one with bacon for Lokay. Suddenly she realized why the little tailring had been padding about anxiously at Morgan's feet; clearly he caught a whiff of it from a mile away. Morgan giggled and accepted both plates, with a* "Thanks!" *which was followed by a* "No thanks, I still have a lot!" *when asked if she needed a drink refill.
She was about to set the plate down when her daddy approached, chairs in one hand, suggesting they change location, and that Lokay could wait a few more moments. Looking back down, she saw that the tailring had hopped down and was patiently waiting for her to lower the plate, paws still padding. He was so cute; she'd almost feel bad if she made him wait longer, but Daddy was right. So she got up, Lokay tilting his head to the side confused, but a* "C'mon, Lokay!" *was enough for him to follow her, remaining on the ground, as she approached with her family to where everyone else was.
As her daddy set up the chairs and Morgan set down the plate of bacon—which Lokay immediately was upon—she overheard Atlantis indirectly mention her, and someone who would be surprised to see her with them. She was briefly confused; SEO? She couldn't recall what that meant, but it was probably the Ranger they met earlier, since, well, they hadn't met anyone else here yet until today, besides Atlantis himself of course.
Unable to resist as she took her seat, she grinned and said,* "She didn't look surprised, but then again her face didn't change much at all!" *She giggled as she attempted to cut her meat, fumbling a bit before she got the hang of it. She was too used to eating simpler things, like sandwiches...*

Laughing when Atlantis suggests it might be possible for me to develop an immunity to his charm, I shake my head and assure him, "Oh, I rather think I would have developed an immunity already, were I ever going to. Besides, I add with a smile, we have the toasts, remember? I don't imagine that anything shall ever, or could ever, break the bonds between us that the toasts have forged."
Lifting a hand and gesturing towards Morgan when she answers the question about the SEO's reaction to learning that a Jedi as young as she will be aiding in the investigation, I smile and agree, "She did not seem surprised at all. Pursing my lips in thought, I suggest, Perhaps she has worked with Jedi in the past, and therefore knows better than to gauge one's ability solely on their age?"
Smiling with a nod when Atlantis asks if I found my accommodation in the Mist Order's academy comfortable, I say, "It was quite comfortable, yes. As I grown accustomed to considering what I wear and carry upon my person the width and breadth of my personal belongings, I do not foresee personalizing the room I have been given the use of, as it has all that I might require that I do not carry on me. Smiling appreciatively when Crystal suggests that I visit the gardens, I nod and say, I shall make it a point to visit them then, thank you Crystal." The spot, in fact, sounds an ideal one for meditation, and I make a mental note to seek it out when next I meditate.

Laughing with an amused smile when Franz states that by simply being present she has given him something that he wants, Ayodele teases him, "You are easy to please indeed, Franz," and then returns the squeeze he gives her hand when saying that they share the trait of being imperfect. Smiling and giving Franz an amused look when Crystal tells him that, were he alone, she would smack him for reminding Lily of the fact that a sales lady had referred to Crystal as a hot Mom, finding the nickname "Pookie" every bit as amusing as the playful banter between Franz and his friends.
Setting her plate aside for the moment, Ayodele turns to Franz after he has spoken of showing her his favorite spot, smiling as she asks him, "Will you give me any hints as to where this spot of yours is, Franz? Or is it to be a surprise?"

Lakehouse - Pool
"Table the table talk, that was pretty good, hon', Elikapeka notes with a chuckle after Lily points out Crystal's intentional, or perhaps unintentional pun. Frowning sympathetically when Delaana teasingly says that Elika had left too abruptly, Elika bats her eyes kittenishly while asking, Can you ever forgive me, my Ceesi? I promise never to leave you for any amount of time without fair warning, Elika adds with a hopeful smile, and then crinkles her nose with a grin as she says playfully, You forgive me, c'mon, you know you do."
Nodding her agreement when Delaana points out that Franz and Ayodele are cute together, Elika smiles, having noted that the two do indeed seem to be getting along well, Franz looking quite content in Ayodele's company, and vice versa, "That they are, my Ceesi, Elika tells Delaana. Shrugging as though to downplay her own role in the kitchen when Ryan compliments the side dishes, Elika smiles at Delaana when she points out that, despite being alone in the kitchen, they managed to acquit themselves well enough, crinkling her nose as she says, Yeah, we did do alright, didn't we?"
Watching the winged sand dragon she assumes is a pet, or maybe more properly friend, of Morgan tackle the plate of bacon it has been offered, Elika smiles as she tells Morgan, "He's a real cutie! Have you had him long, or, erm, known him I guess? Sand dragons are native to Socorro, right? Is that where you got, or, um, met, him?"

Lakehouse - Gardens
You know that moment when you are like a deer caught in the headlights? Yeah that is me right now as I just stare blankly at the three siblings there talking in that dialect of theirs ... It is already bad when I catch both Ryan and Crystal talking that way but add Ares to that ... Clearly right now I am staring at the Solaris siblings and the ongoing buzz around me, I have no clue what is going on until I am pulled out of that state like trance by Baby Girl, "Kayne, Hissing her name, because I know I have been caught and a few here know what their dialect does to me. how you manage to turn me on and off in a matters of seconds, I will never know. Muttering under my breath and looking at Gorgeous and a somewhat accusatory expression, although I do not mean it because, indeed Kayne's statement has been a good one, Now why you gotta be like that and bring up the P&L?" P&L, umm ... Peace and love? Okay no that sounds wrong in that financial jargon. Oh em gee, she is killing me.
"You are killing me hot Mom ... At least I have clearly heard that from Pookie when he reminded me of how the sales lady refers to Baby Girl, I cannot help but to smile at both Pookie and his date, as I listen attentively to what Ayodele is saying, plus noticing their body languages with one another. Perfection can indeed be boring in the long run, but I am sure that you two will just enjoy a moment spent together near perfect as you both sound just liking the simple things in life." My task is done there, whatever happens between Ayodele and Franz, that is up to them but it does really sound like Ayodele is looking forward to spending more time with him, and even Pookie pointed out their park date.
Smiling at the others who have complimented my meat cooking, I thank them with only a slight nod without saying anything further as I'd rather no interrupt anyone. I just enjoy this little silent moment on my part to just eat, although the cocktail right here, is not doing it for me. "Baby Girl? I think this calls for wine ... Remembering that Ayodele has handed a bottle of wine to CKayne, I wonder what kind of wine it is. Otherwise, we can always take another bottle to go with the meat. Cocktail and meat plus this kind of side dishes, it's a travesty."

Smiling sheepishly once more when Ayodele told him that he was easy to please, that was undeniable, he couldn't really wipe off that smile from his lips. "Did you expect any more than that?" He asked playfully before leaning over and kissing Ayodele's cheek softly especially when she returned his squeeze. Franz looked at Crystal soon enough like he has been caught and just looked at her very innocently especially when she mentioned that she would have smacked him if he were alone. "I, uh..." Gulping and looking at Atlantis quickly to ask for some back up here, Franz quickly said, "I think Model Face would be happy if you redirected all the smacking in his direction?" He tentivaly said and just pursed his lips after clearing his throat.
Since he knew that he wasn't going to eat that much currently, particularly when he noticed Ayodele turning in his direction after he had spoken about the spot he wanted to show her, Franz turned his body in her direction and leaned his side against the back rest of the couch after placing his plate on the table there in the middle, he tilted his head on the side with a warm smile before saying. "That would depend on you, Ayodele, did you want it to be a surprise or did you actually want any hint?" He had a playful tone, that was a fact, and he indeed could make it a surprise or not, at least to her, as a few of his comrades here knew where he had isolated himself, that spot right there in the mountains gave him peace and just overall serenity when he needed it the most.
Picking up what was being said behind him from Elika to speaking with Morgan there, Franz smiled at the young girl and also Lily being Lily from the sound of it, Franz was amused and just looked back at Ayodele hoping that she really wasn't feeling out of place here. That was one of the things that he apprehended the most. But insofar from what he had observed, everyone had been welcoming with her, so he was just hoping, he guessed, that she was having fun.
