Delaana looked thoughtful for a moment as if pondering on whether or not she would forgive Elika for leaving her, "Um... well..." Lana's thoughtful expression shifted to a playful one before she brushed gently Elika's nose with her index finger. "Considering you are giving me that cute expression, how can I not forgive you, my Shakal?" She asked rhetorically as she leaned over slightly to peck Elika's lips softly.
Leaning back after giving another Elika another peck, Lana proceeded to eat her food as she listened attentively to what was going on around them. She smiled upon seeing everyone else joining them, currently though she was particularly looking in the little girl's direction noticing that she was accompanied by her pet, companion? Which was eating the bacon that had been prepared by her boss who was actually getting some flake from Lily which amused Lana. Crystal's and Lily's interactions always amused her, that was undeniable and getting caught in that crossfire, was something Lana tried to avoid, not because she was unwilling to participate but because she knew that it really just was best to leave the two childhood friends settle their own score.
Delaana was just finishing chewing some of her food before she wiped her mouth with the napkin and just looked at Elika knowingly. "We really did since everyone seems to be enjoying their meal, right?" Lana asked softly as she finally looked on over the Jedi right there as she preferred to not stare for too long at both Franz and Ayodele, knowing fully well how it can turn uncomfortable when having sets of eyes on people, plus currently she was interested in getting to know Atlantis' guests and the family right there overall. Clearly, Elika was interested too, which was why right now Lana didn't really say a thing and actually she preferred to listen and observe, like she always did.

Crystal had that certain content smile currently, for as far as she was concerned this was turning out to be a good day. There were no dramas and if it came knocking on her door right now, she would have probably punched it on the face. She was just content in listening to what was being said, and right now she just looked at Serrin knowingly and inclined her head with a warm smile. "Don't thank me, thank Elika, she was their architect." Of course Crystal just pointed out the spot but then again, she was very certain that Serrin would have found that place easily, as it was just there in the middle, mist free or not, that depended on the person currently in the gardens.
"Thanks, sweetie, but obviously it's bothering our relentless housemate." Winking playfully before turning to look at Lily after she made a point to glare briefly at Franz, Crystal took a deep theatrical breath and just focused onto Lily for the time being. "It's all about the language, Jankovic, and I am sure that it's one of your boyfriend's fortes too, right? I mean he is a doctor, and he also speaks a certain dialect." Crystal casually said, and she knew that she might get a retaliation soon from Lily, but that was just the way they were anyways. "In a bittersweet way, I hope? So pessimistic, counselor." Crystal just spoke nonchalantly before hiding her smile behind her cocktail glass.
Smiling warmly when she noticed the Jedi of Felucia joining them, Crystal looked at the father and his daughter in particular who really seemed to integrate herself just fine. Crystal had never interacted with Madieke, since she was the one being talked about, the only thing she remembered from the woman was when she had danced with Atlantis and then pushed him in Crystal direction. After that, however the woman was on a day to day basis, Crystal had no clue, and obviously she wasn't in a rush to find out because that would mean that not only she would find herself in a middle of that case, she just wanted to avoid the press altogether just like she preferred to keep her sensitivity to the Force away from the media.
Crystal soon snapped out of her thoughts when Lily requested to have wine, that got her to look at her childhood friend with an amused smile and just chuckled briefly before placing her plate down on the table. "You, not having your quota of wine is a travesty, Baby Girl." Rolling her eyes playfully Crystal knew that there was that bottle of wine from Ayodele and she wondered what type of wine it was. "Ayodele?" Lifting her hand apologetically for interrupting both Franz and Ayodele, since she felt bad for that. "I haven't read clearly earlier, I am truly sorry, but the wine you have given us, what is it?"

Lakehouse — Gardens
Chuckling while shaking his head, Atlantis was amused, it was true that they had toasts indeed, and the whole jokes about those, how they supposedly didn’t like it for a main reason, that really seemed so long ago now that he thought about it but at the same time it felt like it was yesterday. “Right, the unbreakable bond that is toast.” Atlantis said grinning before nudging Serrin playfully. “And broken gate, or you thinking that I have hit my head when I randomly went poet on you while we were in Roon.”
Looking over the Calmcacils when they joined them, Morgan was actually the one who replied about her presence there with Madieke. “From memories, it rarely changed, though I am sure that she is waiting to see what you can bring to the table. Which I am sure is a lot.” Nodding soon enough at Serrin’s assumption, Atlantis figured that much as well. “You might be right, I remember her giving me her card the first time I have met her.” Right in front of FMC if his memories weren’t playing any tricks on him, he was having a cup of coffee with Connie and a smoke too, although he didn’t drink his coffee and he handed had handed not only that but also a cig to Madieke.
Snapping out his thoughts, Atlantis looked at the family there sitting right next to them, but he supposed that they were the kind to eat silently and that was fine by him though he still looked at Morgan and also Lokay as he overheard Elika asking some questions to Morgan.
“Crystal knows the Academy like the back of her hand,” Atlantis told Serrin with a knowing smile before nodding as to confirm Crystal’s statement about who was the architect of the place. “If you ever feel the need to have something remodeled, she is the one you have to talk to.” He added on fondly as he looked at Elika for a little moment before turning to look at Franz since he did hear his cousin saying his nickname earlier. Taking that opportunity, since Crystal was speaking with Ayodele, Atlantis smacked Franz’s head upside.
“Crystal said she wouldn’t do it, but I certainly would, Class Clown.” One of Franz’s old nicknames, but to Atlantis, it seemed to be fitting right now, at least he was seeing some of Franz’s old self, although the whole him being shy and nervous around Ayodele, that really was new to him.

Nodding when Crystal, followed shortly thereafter by Atlantis, points out that it is Elikapeka's design that grants the Mist Order's academy it's many interesting, peaceful, and beautiful facets, I smile and say, "Ah, then I thank you, Crystal, for the suggestion, and, I look towards Elikapeka and incline my head in a respectful bow, I thank you for your remarkable work, Elikapeka."
Laughing when Atlantis reminds me of other bonds we had forged whilst traveling together, I nod and lift a hand to gesture towards him as, deciding to avoid any further discussion of the SEO by resorting instead to playful banter, I say, "There, you see, there are far too many things shared between us for anything to ever grant me immunity from your charm, so you needn't worry. Though, I tilt my head to the side at an inquisitive angle while adding playfully, I am still not quite convinced that you did not, in fact, hit your head on Roon, or, I smile mischievously, perhaps that you do not simply make a habit of hitting your head frequently, given how consistently ridiculous you often are capable of being. Looking over to Crystal, I ask, Does he hit his head often? Or, is he perhaps hit in the head often? You must tell me."

Shaking her head with an amused smile when asked if she had expected anything different from Franz even after knowing him for only a short time than that he would be easily satisfied, Ayodele says, "I suppose not, Franz, no. Laughing lyrically when asked if she would rather Franz give her a hint as to where his favorite spot might be, or to be surprised by it entirely, Ayodele pats his forearm as she answers, That, I think, is one decision I shall not allow you to defer to me, Franz. Give hints, or surprise me as you will."
Laughing in amusement when Crystal asks what type of wine she had brought, Ayodele, whose diet is not one that includes, among other things, wine, admits, "Would you believe I have absolutely no idea? I asked for a recommendation from the shop owner, and simply purchased what was recommended. Hopefully the owner did not lead me astray, and it will be to at least someone's satisfaction."

*Morgan was pleased when Master Roma corroborated her story, then thought about the idea that the ranger had known better to judge Jedi based on their age. Figuring that made sense, she nodded in agreement, smiling as she turned her attention to Atlantis, who agreed about her expression never changing, which elicited a giggled from Morgan.
As the various other conversations went on, another woman addressed Morgan, calling Lokay a "real cutie" and asking about how long Morgan had owned him and where she met him. She also seemed unsure whether to refer to him as a "pet" or a "friend," something Morgan had never considered before. She was briefly distracted by the idea, her face betraying a bit of confusion and thoughtfulness. In all technicalities, Lokay was her pet, but was he her friend? Could animals be called friends? She wasn't sure...
Suddenly snapping out of it with an, "Oh!" *she summoned a smile again.* "I've had him since I was seven! And I'm nine now, so two years! Well, and a few months. I... think they're from Socorro, but I didn't meet him there." *She giggled at the memory before explaining,* "I found his egg in my bag! I was—"
*... the memory of the circumstances leading up to that discovery made her expression go blank for a moment, and when she recovered, she realized that that was quite the complex tale. Probably best not to get into that for now, so she only smiled again and simply said,* "I was in the medical bay and came back to my room and found his egg in my bag! My cousin Raven has a tailring and she laid her egg there, and he hatched in my lap! So now he's mine! He still sees his mommy sometimes, but I think he thinks I'm his mommy instead." *She giggled again, though never did stop feeling a little bad for the mommy tailring; Morgan didn't mean to steal away the baby's attention! But at least the two tailrings were able to be together still.*

Judging from Serrin's, Atlanti's and Crystal's topic of conversation, they are talking about the Mist Order Academy which I have clearly seen once it was inaugurated and I still remember Pookie's and Lover Boy's eyes lightly up like it was a freaking holiday to be celebrated. But that doesn't concern although I cannot help but to say to Serrin in particular, "You should ask those two, or Lover Boy currently since Pookie is busy, what they did when they first step foot in there ..." I just love putting them on the spot, for whatever reason, I just do because truth be told, I appreciate those two men so I like messing with them one way or another ...
But clearly my reprieve doesn't last that long as hearing Baby Girl speaking to Gorgeous about what bothering me, I look at Baby Girl seriously with a straight line lips. "Kayne, you and I both know that I am a sucker for certain type of things and I really do love you but currently, I just don't like you right now. That's not the truth and I don't mean a single word, the last part I mean, How can I clearly stop liking her, so impossible and very unthinkable. And correction, Baby Girl, you forgot to add cynical to that trait for of course I am pessimistic when it comes to me."
Carrying on with my food, although I feel the need to pause a moment since I really need a glass of wine to accompany this meal, I poke my tongue out at Crystal when she clearly has to state me missing a certain quota of wine is in fact the travesty. Before I can comment about that, something catches my eyes and I look jadedly at Lover Boy right then and there. "C'mon, Lover Boy, why you gotta be like that? I am referring to him smacking Pookie, whether he has succeeded or not that has yet to be seen and I am still staring at Atlantis very seriously. Pookie is being cute, suave and all and you really gotta do that? Right here, right now? Rolling my eyes playfully before shaking my head, I glance at Kayne knowingly. Your man is being ridiculous again!"

Smiling sheepishly once more, something he knew in the corner of his mind that he couldn't stop doing no matter how hard he tried. He was just having a pleasant moment speaking with Ayodele, but he really felt like he should stop smiling like an idiot because that was how he was feeling thankfully though no one was judging him right now. Or so he hoped. Pursing his lips thoughtfully deciding whether he would give Ayodele some hints or not since she wasn't going to tell him what she preferred. "It's high, it requires hiking." Franz knew that hint was pretty much indicating the location of where he intended to take her.
Smiling once more, Franz turned to look on his side noticing that Crystal was lifting her hand and looked quite apologetic, he didn't mind at all the interruption and any ways it wasn't an interruption and he just looked at Crystal with a warm smile before looking at Ayodele with an amused expression but before Franz could say a thing, he felt his head jerking forward and he narrowed his eyes in Atlantis' direction. "How very chivalrous of you, Model Face." Franz's eyes twinkled with amusement and he just looked at his cousin with a warm expression. It had been a while since Atlantis had called him that way...
If Atlantis felt the need and want to call Franz as such, it only meant one thing. Though soon enough Franz's eyes widened when Lily, again being Lily had been telling Atlantis off, and Franz just looked at the attorney with faint nervous chuckle which caused him to rub the back of his neck. Thankfully though, the attention didn't stay for too long on him. "Told you," Franz slightly leaned next to Ayodele with an amused smile as he looked at Lily and Crystal with fake fear. "They can be scary..."

Briefly looking upwards when Lily was being her typical self, Crystal shook her head and lifted her right hand to indicate her surrender but not before saying, "You are such a kill joy, Jankovic, and here I thought you were enforcing with all of your might the no drama day, being a lawyer and all." Putting that matter to rest, at least for now as perhaps Lily might bring a counter argument to that statement of hers, Crystal looked back at Serrin with a warm smile before glancing at Elika, who knew perhaps one of the Jedi here needed a few renovations here and there, and she knew that Elika liked to travel, even if she clearly had just returned after leaving for so long.
Crystal's eyebrows lifted briefly when Ayodele gave her an answer to the wine she had brought and laughed softly soon after upon finding out that Ayodele just pretty much relied on the owner. "I am sure that the owner was helpful, considering that knowing a few of them here around, or she does," Crystal nodded in Lily's direction since her childhood friend was always the one hunting for those sort of things just like when it came to food, "I am sure that he or she was helpful." Knowing that from Ayodele, Crystal pretty much banked on the fact that she wasn't a drinker, or perhaps she just drank whatever was within her reach. "We'll find out soon enough, and thank you once again." Just when she was about to stand up, Crystal noticed Atlantis smacking Franz and she just looked at her boyfriend with an amused expression. She figured she would leave the boys deal with their own thing but Lily pretty much prevented her from not having a part in that, and she just had to put Crystal in the middle of it.
Looking upwards once more and sighing exasperatedly, Crystal soon looked at Serrin with an amused expression. "That is a good question, Serrin, although I mostly hit his shoulders or abdomen but that is because he is standing right in front of me," The height was a factor, of course and while she was tall, Atlantis was still taller than she, "But if he is sitting down, I do hit his head." Having heard what Atlantis had said about the Roon matter, when he apparently turned into a poet while he had been there with Serrin, Crystal looked at him for a moment in silent. "You know Atlantis, Lily does have a point, but hearing what you have put Serrin through while in Roon, she should have the honors in smacking you. Or you know what, Baby Girl, just have it if you want to." Winking at them, Crystal stood up to retrieve that bottle of wine that had been given to them by Ayodele, but also a cork and some glasses from the bar.
As she was returning towards the recess area, Crystal finally took that moment to look at the bottle and it really brought a smile on her face as she finally found out what wine it was. "Baby Girl, you are going to like this." Crystal stated factually looking at her childhood friend. "It's Alderaani." Putting the bottle down and turning it in Lily's direction, Crystal looked back at Ayodele with a wide grateful smile. "Something tells me, you went to that owner who is very much intimidated by her from nagging most of them to have some of that wine be imported here for her consumption."

"High, and requires hiking, Ayodele repeats after Franz has offered a hint as to where his favorite is located, How very intriguing, Franz. Someplace in a hilly forest, perhaps, Ayodele speculates, or in a mountainous area; wherever it is that Franz plans to take her, Ayodele is sure that it will prove to be an enjoyable trip given her, relatively speaking, recently discovered love of nature. Laughing with an amused smile when Franz suggests that the playful horsing around and banter prove his assertion that his striking female friends are fearsome, Ayodele narrows her eyes as though doubting his logic, glancing towards Atlantis as, given that he had been the one to use the Force to strike Franz upside the head, she points out, I believe your fears might be somewhat misplaced, Franz. With a languid shrug of her shoulders, Ayodele smiles and tacks on in an amused tone, But, then again, I am sure you know far better than I where your fears should truly lay."
Shaking her head with a smile when Crystal thanks her for the wine, Ayodele says, "It was nothing, truly. A simple gift to thank you all for suggesting that Franz include me. Laughing lyrically when, a short while later, Crystal reveals the type of wine that had been selected by the shop owner, and that it is one that is likely to be enjoyed by some present, Ayodele says, I am so glad the owner choose wisely, adding jokingly, inspired by past intimidation and nagging or not."

Atlantis somewhat looked thoughtful for a moment as he listened to Serrin attentively. As crazy as that sounded or maybe not since most people here knew that retention was one of his strongest suits and he could often time recall things that had been said to him whenever he was with a person he appreciated that much. “Yes indeed, we have shared quite a lot also who can tease you about tackling a certain former Vice-Chancellor to the ground, I mean, she was that tall and you just jumped right at her.” Nidawi was tall, that much he remembered since he had to look up whenever speaking to her, but if the situation back then wasn’t serious, Atlantis would have laughed on the spot and looked really astonished, shocked, what have you.
Only Serrin had pulled that off, throughout Atlantis’ short life.
“… Well, I can’t really remember if you definitely asked me if I had hit my head or if I were drinking, either way, same difference.” Atlantis shrugged nonchalantly but now it sounded that he was in trouble, again. Looking at both Franz and Lily in particular, he adopted a coy and very innocent expression. But soon his eyes widened when he looked from Serrin to Crystal who had been talking about him hitting his head, or in this case, whomever really hit his head. His jaw dropped soon enough when Crystal pretty much gave not only Serrin but also Lily carte blanche to just smack him.
Scrambling up from his seat quickly after he has placed his plate onto the table, he lifted his hands in both Serrin’s and Lily’s direction. “Please, you two both know that I would just be standing there and let myself be smacked by you two, but pretty please, after I am done eating?” Atlantis smiled widely as he put his hands together as if he were praying but thankfully, for the time being he might have gotten some reprieve from Lily when Crystal declared that the wine Ayodele had brought was Alderaani, which only left Serrin and he looked at her pleadingly.
“What if I told you that I plead for a temporary case of insanity, will you let me off the hook?” He smiled widely as he continued to look at the Twi’lek Jedi and still he did not sit down again, since Crystal had indicated where she hit him depending on whether he was standing up or sitting down. But then again, Crystal didn’t really used the Force with him.

Ali simply nodded in agreement with Atlantis' statement about not expanding on the subject of Ice and Andros any further. Smiling, she accepted and thanked Atlantis for the plate of food he had handed to her then she turned to face Ryan when he mentioned something about Ares taking his sweet time inside the house. She watched, with an amused grin, as Ryan walked over to the sound system by the bar and put on a certain song while shouting for "Dr. Love" to come out because it was an emergency. She couldn't help but laugh at Ryan's antics, shaking her head in sheer amusement when Ares emerged from the house to jokingly admonish Ryan with a smile before speaking to his brother in the Solaris family language.
While Ares and Ryan conversed, Ali's eyes wandered over to Andros, who had taken a plate of food over to Ice. Arching an eyebrow, Ali smiled inwardly before looking back to Ares when he asked her if she had everything she needed, or did she need anything else before they headed over to the lounge area. Glancing down at the food on her plate, and the margarita in her hand, she grinned looking up to meet his gaze. "I have everything I need, chéri, and as long as you do too, then we can go sit with the others."
Once seated in the lounge area, Ali's attention was once again drawn to Ryan when he asked about the RDMC. Setting her plate and glass down on the table in front of her, she look at Ryan with a slight smile. "It's been doing pretty well. We've expanded the cybernetics and genetics wings and hired a few new doctors and healers. My mother and Dr. Lyssa Ramaela are handling things while we're all away." Ali explained with an encompassing gesture toward Ares and Ice before continuing.
"I have a lot of vacation time accumulated, plus I'm the boss, so it all works out." She said with smirk and nonchalant wave of her hand. "So what have you been up to, Ryan? Going to get back into the wonderful world of the medical game anytime soon?" She asked with genuine curiosity, casting a quick glance in his direction as she began to cut up her steak.

"I am! Really who says that I am not currently enforcing that golden rule of the day, though yep, I haven't said a thing about it just yet, but that is fixable, In my own way, either by being passive aggressive or just glaring here and there, which can be quiiiiiiiite effective." Winking at Baby Girl playfully, I really cannot eat further because again, there is no wine to accompany this meal which is why I leave my plate on the table for the time being and pay close attention to the going ons right here. It looks like Aerandir and Michelle aren't the talking kind whenever they are eating, which is fine, I suppose and perhaps there will be plenty of time to get to know them later, I do have to get to know them one way or the other because they are also some of the external Jedi that will have to clear Boss Man's name, but it looks like Gorgeous is getting the little girl talking. She does make me smile, she is just too cute.
Either way, it's not only Aerandir and Michelle the silent ones right now, it sounds like Boss Man is also being mute, and there is also Ice being in the silent front. Not that it bothers me right now, since the conversation about different topics is just flowing right here and it just allows me to somehow get to know those that I do not know. "You know that thing, Baby Girl when you look at me with an aggravated expression because I have just put Lover Boy on the spot, I always put him on the spot whenever there is that perfect occasion, and I believe I just did a few seconds ago, I'll leave Serrin do the honors, I mean, he did traumatize her while on Roon. Glancing at Serrin playfully, besides she is closer to Lover Boy right now, so she could do the trick for the both of us. Don't let him off the hook so easily, and Lover Boy, really you pleading temporary insanity, do you really think, most if not all of us, are going to believe that?"
Letting Serrin decide on Atlantis' fate, because quite honestly, I am captivated by the bottle that Crystal comes back with. Something about Ayodele not knowing what type of wine it is to begin with. Not a wine aficionado then? Or just not a drinker. But it's nice of her to actually gift us with wine. That's like one of my weaknesses ... Looking perplexedly at Kayne when she states that I am definitely going to like that wine, and she is damn right about that when she finally tells me that it's Alderaani, I smile and do a happy dance on the couch before stopping dead on. Okay, yeah she is right, I did nag, "Ayodele, hon, I could kiss you right now for giving us that wine from home, but alas, I will let Pookie thank you on my behalf, Nudging Franz's shoulder and looking at him very seriously. Do me a favor, Pookie, and kiss her for me as a thanks, will you?" Smiling knowingly before turning to look at the bottle and grabbing the corkscrew to uncork it before serving some of the wine in several glasses to whomever wishes to drink and if it's just the few of us that I know are drinkers, I can definitely finish off this on my own.
"Who is it going to be this time, Baby Girl?" I ask as I hand her a glass of wine and whoever else who wishes one, and I still wonder who is going to be toasting today. Me, her, people, it doesn't make a difference. At least not to me ...

Franz nodded with Ayodele repeated the hints he had given her, he even had a smile as he continued to look at her. Hopefully she would enjoy discovering that place with him, but something told him that she would considering what she had showed him the previous evening at the park. Soon enough he pursed his lips thoughtfully as he listened to what Ayodele was telling him about his misplaced fear. Okay she did have a point there but in a way he was wired weirdly, and deep down, now that he truly thought about it, he really respected that much the women he cared about that someway he knew that he wouldn't retaliate in their direction, but Atlantis? Or any of his cousins herewith present, he would definitely stand his ground. Franz now wondered where all of that came from, and then it somewhat hit him. One simple answer...
The Kiffar.
"I believe that I have the answer to that now." Franz said with a somewhat victorious smile looking at Ayodele with a faint chuckle and shaking his head. If asked, he would reply her, that was a given but currently he really wasn't going to expound on that matter as he would ultimately be speaking about someone who wasn't here.
Grinning when he noticed that Crystal was returning with that bottle of wine that Ayodele had gotten for them, Franz smiled knowingly soon enough and looked at Ayodele with a grin. "They are from Alderaan, so you have hit home there." Franz mused before snapping out of it when Lily nudged his shoulder and he just looked at the lawyer with wide eyes when she requested something of him. Clearing his throat, as Lily really looked serious right then and there with her request, leave it to her to actually strategically put people on the spot, Franz looked at Ayodele with a sheepish grin but he knew that it was a good chance to take, though he was starting to get cold feet someway, somehow but he would never know unless he tried, which was why Franz leaned slightly over in Ayodele's direction to aim for her cheek and kiss her there softly. "From Lily as a thanks, apparently." Franz smirked before pushing his head back to just look into Ayodele's eyes."Would you like a glass of wine?" Anything to just move along right now, since he really was getting some cold sweats right then and there.

Ryan knew that Lily was bound to comment about how he and his siblings spoke in that dialect of theirs. It was an automatic reflex, that much Ryan knew, whenever he was alone with one of them, Ryan would speak in their family's dialect. With others around, always or most of the time in Basic. Ryan wasn't someone who really talked that much unless he was spoken to whenever he was eating and right now he was more focused on Alisha and he just looked at her with interest. He was pleased upon finding out the news that she was giving him, RDMC had always been a neutral hub in a sense and the fact that it was expanding that way, not surprising. "Expanded cybernetics and genetics, huh? Well color me interested, Mercotti..." Ryan smirked, after all even though he was still on a sabbatical, he still studied and learned new ways or at least tried to in a way and of course he was itching to go back and clearly nothing would stop him, except that he was just stopping himself for the time being.
Not wanting to dwell on his case right now, Ryan furrowed his eyebrows when Ali mentioned that she had some accumulated vacation to take. "You have been working all of this time, ever since I resigned?" Ryan asked incredulously before looking at his brother, Ryan knew that his brother was a workaholic, so was his sister, and actually come to think of it, it ran in the family. Opening his mouth briefly wanting to ask what Ares had been doing all of this time, working clearly, at least it was what Ryan was assuming currently. "I bet that was a relief to your mom and Lyssa for you lot to put your foot up." Ryan had preferred to just go on a different route in fear that he would unknowingly violate that current rule.
Taking a sip of his beer, just to organize his thoughts for now, he knew that sooner or later, that matter of why Ares being comm silent was going to be brought up, Ryan preferred to do it while they were just the three of them, and hopefully that would be soon. Lowering his beer and looking at Ali with a faint grin, "Nothing out of the ordinary for my case right now, just spending senselessly what I have accumulated while on Honoghr." Except that was a lie, he wasn't the overly indulging and over spender anyways, plus he always had his trust fund, apparently and he chuckled at the thought before regaining some seriousness. "Maybe soon, I will get back to that in FMC here, that is if they need another neuro, but then again, I am sure that they have all the help they need, so for now, what I am really doing, just keeping the Academy's medbay here functional." Ryan often dealt with some of the younglings booboos there, or he would actually learn there or train.
"Enough about work talk, huh? This is a celebration, tell me how that freak show proposed?" Ryan asked playfully before looking at Ares with a knowing smirk. "Was there a home cooked meal, and a serenade, or just the plain restaurant and ring in the glass of wine?"

Crystal had rolled her eyes semi exasperatedly at Lily when her childhood friend stated how she dealt with particular problems. Which fit for this occasion, otherwise in court, Crystal knew it was a different case. Looking at Lily with a perplexed expression, Crystal looked upwards for the umpteenth time when it came to Lily thus far, she just resolved herself to just shake her head with an amused grin on the corner of her lips as she looked at Serrin. "You heard Lily, the honors are all yours, hit him or not, your decision and don't let his charms prevent you from doing so." Crystal laughed softly since that had been Serrin's and Atlantis' topic of conversation and how he had managed to get away with it for so long, beats her, but she did have to admit that Atlantis did have his ways, and besides Crystal never really hit him forcefully except a few times a while ago, that caused a few dents in the training room. Shuddering at the thought as she remembered those episodes, Crystal preferred not to dwell on that matter.
"The wine does mean a lot," Crystal said softly considering that it was a wine from home, and it touched her, even if Ayodele did admit that she had no idea what the wine was to begin with, and also usually Crystal had preferred not to accept any kind of gifts as she preferred giving them, but it was done now and she was more looking at Franz with a knowing smile. "I am sure that over the long run, he would have spoken with you and asked you to come here, either way, I am glad that you have accepted the invitation and are here right now." Crystal meant those words, as judging from how Franz was around her, he really did seem happy and that was all that mattered to her. Knowing what he had endured, and also whatever the reason was that made him temporarily leave, all Crystal knew was that he had changed and even Atlantis had said so.
Crystal soon looked at Lily with an impassive expression though she was groaning inside before shaking her head. "Leave the man alone, baby girl," Lifting her index finger to warn her childhood friend. "Don't even call me by that EM word," Rolling her eyes and chuckling softly Crystal picked up a glass of wine after returning to her seat, she noticed that Atlantis was standing up and she listened to what he was saying with amusement. "Since Atlantis is currently standing up, let him do the honors." Crystal told her childhood friend before directing the back of her hand on Atlantis' abs somewhat abruptly with the glass of wine, she looked up at him with an innocent smile. "Make yourself useful, and do the toast, okay?" Handing the glass to him, Crystal looked at the others in particular, Ice, Lukas but also the rest of the Calmcacils with a dubious expression. "Do you need anything else?" Crystal asked dubiously knowing that they all might have everything they needed but she figured that she would strike a conversation with them since they have been silent thus far.
Really, Crystal missed her magical number when it was actually easier to interact with everyone. Though not wanting to dampen the current mood, since it really was going well, she still kept a friendly smile on her features as she looked at everyone.

"Ah, Ayodele says with a smile when Franz explains that Lily and Crystal are from Alderaan, making the shop owner's choice of wine a particularly fortuitous one indeed, How very lucky for me that the owner made such an interesting choice. Laughing lyrically, in a delightedly amused rather than mocking or embarrassed fashion after Franz, fulfilling Lily's request with a rather noticeable hint of discomfort or perhaps simple embarrassment for having been put on the spot, kisses her cheek, Ayodele shakes her head to decline the offer of a glass of wine, saying, Perhaps later, Franz, and then kisses the tips of her fingers and mimes blowing the kiss towards Lily as she says, You are most welcome for the wine."
"Would he have, do you think? Ayodele asks Crystal in a playfully uncertain way when her hostess suggests that Franz may have invited invited her of his own accord, patting Franz's forearm gently to make it clear that she is merely teasing him, she says, From what I have seen, and from what Franz has shared with me, I am almost beginning to think that he takes no action that he is not prodded towards. All the same, she concludes, glancing over to meet Franz's eyes with her own, I, too, am glad that I accepted the invitation, no matter how it came to extended."

Nodding with an amused smile when Crystal explains her customs where hitting Atlantis are concerned, I lift my hands to convey that I will pass when she ends her account of the ins and outs of where she herself might smack Atlantis by offering Lily or I the honor of being the one to smack him now. Looking towards Atlantis when he asks to at least be allowed to eat before anyone chooses to take Crystal up on her offer, I smile and assure him, "You have no need to worry. At least where I am concerned, I add with a glance in Lily's direction. After Lily has also declined the offer, I lift my hand to gesture towards Atlantis and say, Well, there you are then, safe and off all hooks for the time being."

Lakehouse - Pool
Sighing contentedly after the kiss from Delaana, Elikapeka smiles kittenishly as she leans over to whisper in Delaana's ear, "Mmm, I think I'll have to try and remember that expression since it got such nice results," and then, as uncomfortable as ever with taking credit for anything, simply nods with a shrug of her shoulders when Delaana points out that their efforts in the cooking department seem to have gone over well enough.
Giving Crystal a mildly annoyed look that is as much uncomfortable as it is annoyed when she hears Crystal telling Master Roma that she should thank Elika since she was the architect of the academy, and then winces as she hears Atlantis saying something about talking to her if any remodeling is desired, Elika summons a somewhat convincingly not uncomfortable smile when the Twi'lek Master thanks her, tugging at her right sleeve as, so discomforted by being the focus of attention, she just bows back to Master Roma instead of trying to think of some gracious way to accept the compliment on her work.
Thankful for the change of subject Morgan's answer to her earlier question about the tailring provides, Elika smiles at her while listening to the story about how it is that Morgan and her friend, or pet, Elika isn't sure which is the more accurate even after the tale Morgan recounts, came into one another's lives. Frowning a bit as, at one point, Morgan seems to be caught up in her memories, Elika naturally enough for her begins to worry that the subject is one that might not be entirely happy, but manages to recover her smile by the time Morgan herself resumes telling the story. Chuckling along with Morgan as she notes that the tailring seems to think of her as its mother, Elika crinkles her nose as she says, "That is pretty funny. Her anxiety still making her feel less certain than she might otherwise feel, Elika finds that she has absolutely no idea how to continue the conversation with Morgan, and suddenly feels unsure that the girl would even want to be talking with an adult, but feels like something else needs to be said, and so comes up with, Um, imprinting is a funny thing, huh?"
As the talk moves on to the wine Ayodele had brought as a gift, the call for Atlantis to make a toast providing yet another distraction that she welcomes, Elika, with her thumb keeping her sleeve from falling below her wrist, reaches up and adjusts her spectacles before leaning over to ask Delaana, "Did you, um, want any wine or anything, my Ceesi?"

Lakehouse — Gardens
Atlantis had no idea what was worse right now.
The fact that Crystal gave her expressed permission to smack him, or that both Lily and Serrin could do it. Atlantis knew that he really was in a tight spot right now, but quite honestly? It was amusing the hell out of him, any time he could get in trouble with these women, he’d take it. For now though, he seemed like he was off the hook and he could have that reprieve to eat and just be back on guard later when he was done eating, but nonetheless he still looked at Serrin with relief after Lily had handed the torch to her.
“Yes!” Fighting that urge to fist pump on the spot for his victory on this matter, Atlantis soon found out that his relief was short-lived when he felt Crystal back handing him on his abs that caused him to temporarily lose his breath and he just looked at her this time with an aggravated expression and a pout. “Right… The toast.” But obviously it wasn’t that kind of toast, even though he still looked at Serrin with a playful expression. Considering that he could hardly say no to his girlfriend, Atlantis took the glass of wine from her and remained standing up.
Looking briefly at the glass, Atlantis waiting for a moment leave everyone else take their own glasses if they so wished it and he slightly lifted his wine right there. “I am not really good at this, but,” Rubbing the root of his nose, trying to figure out what he could say, he supposed that he would just speak from his heart. “I want to say to family, and to friends.” Atlantis glanced at Serrin knowingly. “For old ones finding their way back, and also to new ones,” For that one, he looked at the Calmcacils and also Ayodele who was with Franz right then and there, also Delaana and Ice along with Lukas. “Also for the ones that aren’t currently present with us, all I know is that without you all, this,” Atlantis meant on the larger scale of things, that went without saying but since he didn’t want to violate that rule he just carried on, “None of this would be possible, so to family, friends, old and new ones, but also to the newly engaged couple over there.”
Lifting his glass to everyone, Atlantis took a sip of his drink and returned to his seat before placing the glass down on the table with a satisfied and happy smile on his lips…
