Located on the first floor of the residential building, on the northeastern side, the dining hall features a large south facing window looking out onto the gardens dominating the courtyard, a glassine ceiling allowing natural lighting and a view of the outdoors during the day, and a variety of decorative and sedate plant life as the predominant decor.

Entering the dining hall after completing the tour of the academy, Elika leads the way towards one of the tables large enough to accommodate the entire group and, when they arrive, smiles a trifle nervously as she tentatively suggests, "I hope it isn't too presumptuous of me to say that I think a toast is in order? Lily, Elika says with an amused smile that only partially conceals her self consciousness at her suggestion, which she realizes on some level is unnecessary given the reactions to the academy thus far, but cannot, given her personality makeup, not entirely overcome even though she is among those she considers her dearest friends, did carry the wine all this way after all, so it would be a shame to waste it," and then, given that she believes that the honor of making the toast, should there be reason for one, belongs to the Jedi, looks towards Atlantis, Mace, and Franz with an expectantly arched eyebrow to silently inquire whether any of them would like to do the honors.

Atlantis throughout the whole tour listened attentively to the descriptive but each time he had discovered a new place, he was always delighted about the architecture, about the feel of the place. It was a big academy but at the same time he felt like the tour had gone by too fast for his taste. He knew that he could revisit each places whenever he felt like it but the fact that they were here, that Elika was here to be their tour guide, he couldn't ask for more. It was perfect as it was and he was very grateful and also he was very glad to have waited to visit this place for the first time with the one that had envisioned it perfectly.
The tour was coming to an end and they were all walking back to the residential area and more particularly the dining hall. Still, the people he thought were going to show up, did not. It was a faint disappointment for him and honestly, he wanted to put a lot of things to rest and just stop the whole evading one another, but he knew that he couldn't force anyone to do things, it wasn't him and he believed in free will anyways unless it was a force majeur case but for this, nothing at all. Atlantis sighed softly and slightly stayed back for a moment facing the grand entrance as if summoning that person. He closed his eyes briefly and took a deep breath before finally turning around and walking into the dining hall. He looked around with a warm smile, even though he might had a sudden expression, it could have been passed up as sadness for the tour already coming to an end.
Atlantis looked up at the main person who was currently speaking and he smiled encouragingly the whole time she spoke until he noticed some of them placing the bottles and the glasses on the table but he did not make a move towards the bottle and instead he rounded the table to walk over Elika and he stood there for a moment and without a warning, without a word, he hugged her affectionately. "Thank you..." He murmured softly before pulling away and looking into her eyes warmly. Atlantis knew that she might have said that the thanks was unnecessary, but really he insisted through his gaze. She had done something that fitted the Jedi here on Umgul as a whole and she did not even messed up one way or the other. He still had that presentation into mind and she had nailed it quickly.
"And no, it is not presumptuous at all." He assured her sincerely before he gathered all the glasses together and grabbed the bottles uncorking them quickly and efficiently with the use of the Force since he did not have a corkscrew nearby and he poured the wine into the glasses before distributing them to each and everyone of them. Once everyone was served, he went to stand next to Mace and Franz mainly and he lifted his glass as a toast. "I really don't know what to say..." Atlantis said with a faint chuckle before glancing sheepishly at everyone while he rubbed the back of his neck. "But, one thing is for sure and the three of us are thinking the same..." He obviously meant Mace, Franz and himself. "We wouldn't have this without your help, so thank you Elika for giving us an essential tool to further our training to transmit our teachings to those that are willing to learn. But first and foremost, thank you for being into our lives, not just as a friend but someone we consider family." Atlantis glanced around momentarily to look at the structure and maybe beyond too. "To the family and friends and continued peace here on this planet." Atlantis lifted his glass and looked expectantly at the others since perhaps Franz and/ or Mace had things to add, a reason why he did not drink his wine yet.

It was a well known fact Mace was, compared to the guys here, much more guarded with her emotions overall. It was also a well known fact that she wasn't the kind to speak more than it was necessary. She was far more private, but not disrespectful, a reason why she kept following their tour guide, Elika here present, while listening attentively to the descriptions of each areas being described. Her silence never meant that she wasn't pleased at all, because she still had a faint smile each time. She just preferred to not say more than necessary here. Of course, she was delighted and of course she was very satisfied with the academy as a whole but she also had in mind that she was supposed to be accompanied by a little girl who had been looking forward to visiting this place since day one.
Mace had in fact relinquished Lara's apprenticeship, she had in fact been waiting patiently to train Lyra and even though she did what she did up till now, perhaps, she quickly went too quickly ahead of herself and wondered if what had happened earlier was her fault too in a sense. Raan had tested his daughter, he wanted to see if Lyra was ready to embrace fully her training. Maybe Mace's goddaughter wanted to prove to her father first and foremost that she was ready to train with her. Mace, indeed, attained her rank at a young age, and indeed, she did many things at a young age, but the thing was, she never looked for any credits, she never sought any recognition. . . Maybe that was the problem, Lyra was just in a haste to train under her and that thing happened.
There were a lot of things that she wanted for Lyra, a lot of things that the little had to experience, but first and foremost she deserved her childhood. Not one like Mace's. . . No, Mace never wanted any one to experience what she had been through in the past. She had so many skeletons in her closet and she wasn't one to speak about those but this evening, a lot was amiss and it was just dreadful in a sense.
Rubbing her temple briefly, she was about to walk into the dining hall as the tour had concluded but she briefly glanced over her shoulder noticing that Atlantis was facing the grand entrance. Despite that internal frown, Mace had preferred to not say a thing, she preferred to not even reach out to him because she exactly knew what he was waiting for. Keeping her expression in check and even her gaze, she just walked into the dining hall with the most peaceful and relaxed expression ever, she even went to stand on a side where Franz was located and smiled warmly at Elika before shaking her head slightly as if to tell her that she wasn't presumptuous at all and she didn't need to convince them further to actually have that toast because the academy was officially opened.
It was nothing fancy, it was taking place in the middle of the night, just like Atlantis wanted for several of them sake, and it was a very private inauguration. One that would more or less be unseen by the large population of this planet and particularly this city. Considering that Atlantis was better putting feelings into words, she let him do the talking first and it all started with him hugging Elika affectionately. Mace tilted her head on the side briefly and grinned watching both of the grandmaster and architect alike with warmth.
She continued to smile warmly at Atlantis when he came over to stand next to them after handing over the glasses of wine to all of them and waited patiently for him to say that speech, whatever it may be, she knew he would speak from the heart. She perfectly concurred with his sentiment through her gaze when she looked at Elika in silence and even when Atlantis finished talking. "To all of us, to the things we can achieve when we have the necessary tools, when we have the greatest support in our friends and family who are mostly all present here. . ."
Mace closed her eyes momentarily, but still kept a faint smile on the corner of her lips because she really did not want any one right now to perceive that sorrow in her gaze. The Drakes were after all missing and even the Jades. So managing to catch herself before that thought of their absence partially causing her sadness, she at least managed to keep a peaceful tone, she opened her eyes once again and carried on with her words. "To continued peace and justice on this planet." Said Mace as she lifted her glass as a toast to all of the people present here. Each one of them contributed to all of that one way or the other. At least that was what Mace thought.

Fiddling with some commands in the training room; check. Regaining some sense of childish behavior; check.
If Franz had to resume so far his return to civilization, he would say that it was done in a somewhat bang. He wasn't that childish like before, but he was getting his personality back in a way. It had all started with seeing people he cared about again and them just being together right now was certainly helping. He was glad that Elika did not see any inconvenience to him being around, even Crystal did not because he could be chattier. That matter was perhaps still debatable but for now he was very very satisfied and very happy. He really had not seen the academy before and the blueprints weren't one that he had consulted, so the surprise, excitement and delight were genuine ones. Especially when he got to see one of the training rooms, where there was a console to either engulf the room with mist or not. The best part was all the tools that it provided, him and techs it was like just a perfect match. He would be able to select the difficulty against combat droids or just be able to meditate into the mist just like he had done back in the mountains.
Good times, certainly good times. Although it made him wonder why either Mace or Atlantis had requested for that feature in those rooms. He also had heard that the walls were resistant to electric discharges. He only knew one person that could manipulate electricity, well actually two people, perfectly. It was the reason why he had glanced at Mace very dubiously right then and there. When he thought about it, he exactly knew how mist was composed and at a high concentration, it would easily conduct the electricity. Oh... Oh! I got it! He thought before shuddering on the spot and making a face. It was scary when he thought about it and many times he had heard and learned to use his surroundings to his benefits. Mace definitely found a way to just do that. No more questions taunting his mind as he continued with the tour. Franz definitely loved the sense of tranquility of the meditation areas and really loved how everything wasn't structured in a strict way, especially the residential quarters for the students that would be interested to learn in this place...
This was really a great day for him, to being back to civilization and just being where he exactly wanted to be.
Franz walked into the dining hall with a very satisfied smile on his features and he even went to check out the vegetation around the place with a knowing smile. Someone would have loved this place, that he was sure of, and it was too bad that his very own former apprentice wasn't planetside. The last time he had heard from the fellow, it was him asking permission to accompany his sister off world in order to deal with something important. It seemed to be recurring statement lately, people leaving because it was important. He understood all of that, they never needed to explain the reasons why as long as they checked in to let everyone know they were fine. Although he knew that he wouldn't hear about Arhiana for a while. He couldn't say "never" because Franz did not know, but right now he knew that moving on was the best move he could do.
Not really wanting to cloud his mind with unhappy thoughts, Franz went to stand behind a seat and looked at Elika who was suggesting that they finally have that drink to actually toast to this place being opened officially. He smiled at Lily who had really brought the wine bottles and he inclined his head in the women's direction, or actually the government officials, but what... Mace technically was one too right? There were also in majority. So it went like that, the Vice-Governor, the Chief Financial Officer and the Attorney General along with the Architect and the Political Advisor who the latter was playing for two teams. Well a bit overwhelming and intimidating. Before he could pursue his thoughts though, Atlantis was speaking after hugging Elika and soon his speech was followed by Mace saying a few things as well.
Wait, was he supposed to say something too? Oh boy...
Holding his glass into his hand, he pursed his lips as if he was really in deep thought but then he did a popping sound with his lips. "You know what is the most difficult thing? Not actually knowing what to say after these two." He gestured in their direction with his thumb before shaking his head with a smirk. "Because they have covered everything. But I just want to tell you all for being here and specially you, Elika for doing this for us." Franz lifted his arms to convey the place before he chuckled. "Now, aren't you glad that I actually wasn't at that meeting with Mace and Atlantis, I would have messed up entirely." Said Franz with a self deprecating smirk before he glanced particularly at the three women, namely Crystal, Lily and Elika. "Really, thanks to you three for keeping Model Face in check." He said with a laughter before shaking his head and rolling his eyes playfully. "To all of us, and to the planet as a whole." Franz said as he lifted his glass slightly and clinked his glass with everyone before taking a sip of his drink.

I have heard about Elika's work, but I have never seen anything she has done and to be submerged into something she has imagined, it was just mind blowing ... Wow. It's the sole word that stole into my mind and each time it was amplified with every new room, area that we have visited. Crystal wasn't kidding whenever she spoke about Elika's work. Evidently, we have talked about it, obviously it was each time Elika was off world because she had been hired by people to do some architectural work. I seriously love her work, and it really suits the Jedi of this planet. At least, I think it does since I do know more Atlantis than Mace and Franz but just the sight of them being happy to be here and acting childishly, Mace doesn't, she is more guarded, I heard that she is keeping them in check one way or the other ...
Cringing internally because I have heard that she not only is a mind reader, much like Kayne when it comes to me but it is more of a larger scale for her. I really need to stop with my long internal monologue but really that is hard to do and I should probably stop now. Yep, stopping now ...
Saved by the bell in a way, since the tour has concluded and we are back where we have started. Smiling at Elika with a knowing expression as I place down the bottle onto the table and some of the glasses that I have been carrying around. This is it, it's time for a toast and lover boy should definitely do the honors since he is after all the Grandmaster of this Order. Grabbing the glass that is handed to me, I smile and wait expectantly for the Jedi to speak. I still am genuinely touched that I have been invited to this special occasion and I am also genuinely impressed and glad that Atlantis actually asked Elika to not only open the door with him but also waited for her return to visit this place.
What more can I say, or more precisely think and feel? The guy is a good guy and genuinely caring, I have seen that everyday ever since I got here, with baby girl, with him asking all the time how we are doing and he is really selfless, knows when to be serious and when to act like I have just seen from him. Very endearing. In silence, I muse, but also in silence I listen to the three Jedi attentively and even Franz ends up joking. Laughing genuinely at his comment before rolling my eyes playfully, I just lift my glass for the toast and take a sip of my drink.
"It's mostly Crystal, I start saying thoughtfully before adding on. Who keeps him in check. We are merely back up, but then again Elika and I did promise him a world of pain if he ever messes up. My tone is very strict and factual, it is a joke of course but it does not mean that I do not mean that, I obviously would do something if and when Crystal is hurt because of the guy. Pushing the thought aside, I take another sip of my drink and glance around the place for a moment before walking nearer to Elika. Gorgeous, hypothetically speaking; if and when I get there, could you envision a place for me too?"
I have to ask, besides it won't hurt, right? I obviously do not expect for the three of us to live together our whole lives. For now, it is a long term case scenario, and I am actually not really in a hurry to get there because the three of us living together, it is great and I love it. "By the way, I love the place. I tell her sincerely before clinking my glass with hers and glancing at the Jedi as a whole. And thank you for inviting me also for this tour." Lifting my glass in their direction as a toast, as a thanks also for the words they have said, I suppose that sooner or later we would have to head home, right? Right ...
"Oh! Idea. I say excitedly since we are mostly gathered here together. Why don't we do this thing into a two in one event kind of deal? Looking expectantly at both Crystal and Elika since, it is still their home to begin with, and I still consider that I am the one who just crashed there because it was convenient. Housewarming, baby girl. I think that loud for her to catch my drift before gesturing for her to come closer and just leaning closer to Elika to murmur. Housewarming?"

Andros had said that it was truly a piece of art but the interior was a masterpiece. He knew that he really was going to entrust the raceways project to the right person. It certainly had nothing to do with an academy but still if Elika managed to reflect the Jedi's personality onto this academy than who better than she to do what he had in mind. He had ventured further into each part of a room that they were visiting and he knew that even though he was no Jedi, that he did not belong to the Order, none of them would mind if he trained here from time to time. He was after all Lara's master, right? The last time he had checked, she was still part of this Order but on a flexible apprenticeship. It was how he defined it, he had asked Ayla a few months ago if she could pursue Lara's training whenever he was unavailable. She accepted but soon enough, Lara still had to leave because he just lost that fateful day and he did not go against his words anyways.
When they concluded the tour and got back to the area of where they had started, Andros looked around the dining hall and without thinking too much about it, he went to the grill, glancing at it with a cynical grin. "I don't suppose that one of you will do the cooking for the students, won't you?" Andros asked over his shoulder towards the Jedi before shrugging his shoulder indifferently, he knew that they all knew how to cook, although when it came to Franz maybe it was debatable but this was a barbecue too, the guy could do that, couldn't he? Whatever. The Councilors' decision in the end, he was just going to deal with his own matters anyways.
Andros went to stand next to the table and looked at all of them with a very satisfied expression. Still though, Elika seemed nervous, he wasn't holding that against her but this should be easier for her, right? Her being surrounded by people she exclusively knew. Still could it be about something else? Not really wanting to get into a psychological analysis, Andros just glanced at the Jedi who were each making a little speech after he had gotten his own glass of wine.
Family, most of them have mentioned, and still Raan was no where to be seen, if the man really put him in charge of the planet's dealings until further notice and had missed this, then there really was something wrong with the man. Andros still had his pride and still couldn't remove the bad taste in his mouth about the revelations of that one evening. He had walked away that night but still his concern for the man superseded the irritation he had towards Raan. Maybe he'll go check later or maybe he'd find Jesse to make him talk...
Andros really had no idea, he guessed he would improvise, for now he was sipping his glass of wine and savoring the taste of the Blossom Wine actually. He lowered his glass and raised his glass in Elika's direction because he knew that this was the wine she favored, at least those were some rumors he had heard whenever he caught some of Lily's and Crystal's exchanges back into the government building. Andros took a seat around the table and looked around the dining hall for a moment until he glanced over Lily who explained to Franz the whole dynamic the three women had with Atlantis. "Atlantis, I would say that I feel sorry for you, but I actually do not." Andros said mischievously, but he did know that Atlantis was the type of man to respect women and wouldn't dare to hurt them if he was close to them anyways.
He looked soon enough from Atlantis to Lily who was suggesting something else, to maybe finish this evening on another great note and even though he had read on her lips what the next sort of event she had in mind, he decided to not comment onto that for now and would wait for the ladies to come to a unanimous decision. It was their decision anyways and he was going to give an opinion until they had settled onto what they wanted to do. It was the reason why he was looking expectantly at Crystal, Elika and Lily before glancing at the Jedi in particular wondering if they had something planned for the rest of the evening or night...

Crystal had called it, even if she had not seen the academy before but just the blueprints, she had called the fact that the Jedi would love it. It had been mainly due to the fact that she remembered Elika's meeting with Mace and Atlantis had gone quickly during the first phase but also Elika had defined that meeting as the least complicated one she ever had. Gosh, it seemed eons ago that meeting but she remembered it like it was yesterday. Elika had come back from Contruum, she had showed off her sketches to Atlantis and Mace and then they had gone to visit the lakehouse sans Mace. Many things had happened that day but she had preferred to put the other things to rest. No point in walking down the memory lane, especially when it was the day before her birthday...
So many things had changed that day, but at the same time, she did not feel any different, still glad that her friends acted the same way around her and still glad that no one had changed, at least more or less. Franz seemed to really be a different case right now, which was why Crystal was glad to seeing him around more often. At least this visit got him some sense of his old self back, right? He had curiously fiddled with some controls in the training room, she remembered him fiddling a datapad once. Gosh, she really had to stop taking that road down to memory lane especially when she could recall several details of those days. Kicking herself internally, she decided on the spot to just enjoy the tour to its fullest and particularly watch her boyfriend's reactions to each room he was seeing for the first time.
She really wasn't surprised that he loved every aspect of the academy, she knew that he had definitely been looking forward to this day and she also could see his excitement when he was told that the construction was done and he had asked her to make the payments necessary since at that time he had handed her control of the secured funds that belonged to the Order here. She did not even question his request to add a bonus in regards to Vinoly architectural with a message to double up what was due to Elika. Atlantis had preferred it that way, she guessed, a way to mask his involvement. He was just the type anyways.
Crystal was mindlessly chitchatting with Lily mainly, nothing important just small talk because she did not want to interrupt Elika while she presented the place overall. It did not stop her from looking at the areas with delectation and she let her friend know with a smile, nothing more, nothing less. Crystal was a little disappointed that the tour was coming to an end because she felt like it went by too fast and now that they were all gathered here into the dining hall. She finally was able to peer more precisely onto the Jedi's feature. Franz was happy just like Atlantis and Mace was the same, guarded as always but she still could see a genuine satisfaction onto her gaze.
"To us and to continued peace and justice on this planet." Crystal lifted her glass and had decided to lay to rest the fact that she was keeping Atlantis in check, the thing was, she really wasn't at all. He did it all by himself and that was a fact, he just always pretended to be in trouble with women because it amused him. Winking at Atlantis with a knowing expression before she took a sip of her drink, she put her glass down onto the table before looking at Lily dubiously. What was she up to, now? Soon enough Crystal found the answer when she perfectly heard her childhood friend's thoughts. Crystal giggled faintly and rolled her eyes playfully before grabbing her glass again and walking over towards her housemates. She looked at Elika thoughtfully, maybe she was up for it or maybe she wasn't. They were actually all working tomorrow considering that now even Andros had requested for her presence. "Your choice, sweetie." Crystal assured her sincerely. "Or we can do that tomorrow or over the weekend." Crystal glanced at Lily, sometimes she still had to be the voice of reason, a few years back, they definitely could pull all nighters, party, party and get to classes the next day but now, she still could keep up but not like before.

Elikapeka surprises herself when, as Atlantis suddenly and without any warning, hugs her, she does not tense up as she would typically, and instead simply returns the hug without realizing, until after he has broken away, that her usual discomfort with having her self-imposed boundaries crossed has been absent. As Atlantis makes his toast, thanking her for, not only designing the academy, but for being in their lives as both friend and family, Elika manages to keep a smile on her face even though she is so touched by his words, which echo her own sentiments as well as remind her that, even though she has lost her parents and the woman she had hoped to spend the rest of her life with, she is not as alone as she often feels. Raising her glass with everyone else at the conclusion of Atlantis' toast, Elika uses the opportunity provided by Mace's toast drawing everyone's attention to close her eyes briefly, collecting herself once more so that, when Mace finishes her toast, Elika's smile is no longer as forced as it had been previously.
Meeting Franz's eyes when he comments on how Mace and Atlantis are a difficult duo to follow, Elika grins wryly in hopes of conveying her agreement with the sentiment as well as her belief that he need not be concerned at all; they are friends sharing a quiet moment, not competing in making the most eloquent toast after all. Shaking her head and crinkling her nose to convey that she does not agree with Franz's assertion that she should be glad he had not been at the meeting where Elika had made her design proposal, Elika clinks her glass with the others before sipping her wine, feeling, perversely given all that has been said, momentarily out of place; she is a mere architect, not, in her mind, truly worthy of being included in the company of Jedi Masters and government officials who truly do contribute to the welfare of the planet. The moment passes quickly, however, and Elika finds herself laughing happily when Lily suggests that they make the evening a two for one event. "Any reason to extend the party, right? Elika teases warmly, nodding as, after glancing at Crystal hoping to defer the decision to her friend and finding that there is no help to be had from that quarter, she makes a production out of weighing the idea carefully before finally agreeing with a smile, I second the motion counselor. Housewarming after academy warming it is."

Now that Andros mentioned it a moment ago, Atlantis glanced around to see a grill over there. He pursed his lips thoughtfully and shrugged faintly. He could do it for the younglings, for the others, they would have to learn just like he did. Although he was sure that they would do fine; thoughts that he would revisit another time. As of right now, Atlantis made a face when Andros told him that he did not feel sorry for him due to the so-called "threats" and danger he might be facing if he ever hurt Crystal. It was true, just like Lily had said, that she and Elika were back up if necessary due to Crystal knowing how to hold her own. That was mainly his private life in a way and when it came to his professional one, his calling, Mace also packed a punch literally and figuratively.
Since they were done with the toasting, Atlantis clinked his glass with everyone and smiled at the words that had been said but also the feelings that were coming from this very room. It was overwhelming but at the same time, he felt like thanks to all of them, he was at his very best. When Lily thanked the Jedi as a whole for inviting her to the tour, Atlantis merely shook his head only to emphasize that she did not need to thank them at all and it was perfectly normal anyways. He wanted to share this moment with those he was close to, with those who were supposedly close to. Where was Raan? Where was his daughter? He knew that three or four of them were in the capacity to answer, which was why he mainly focused on them, and one of them was Andros but also all of the Force sensitives in this room. Where is Raan or what happened to him?
Sure Atlantis had his downs with him but that was a while ago, and Atlantis just could not believe for how long this had gone one, now it really seemed futile to him. Of course, they had unresolved issues, of course they needed to lay it all down on that proverbial table, but really? What had happened to them...?
Atlantis did not linger on that matter of the absentee(s) due to the fact that he was glancing at the women who lived together. He wondered what Lily was up to now? He knew her that much that she was always up to something anyways... He found the answer quickly when Elika seconded the motion which made Atlantis laugh faintly. "You, ladies, will be the death of me." Atlantis said jokingly before rolling his eyes playfully and looking at the others with a grin before he inclined his head. "Why the heck not, consider me thirding that motion and count me in." He added on with a grin before he downed his drink happily, gingerly at the prospect of ending this evening on a very good note.
He knew that the housewarming never happened yet, due to the fact that their schedules were colliding and they did not have the time, and just like him, he knew that Crystal and Lily wouldn't have that event without Elika anyways, and since that she were often off world for work, that really never happened. Now was the time. "You guys are down?" Atlantis asked his brother, Franz and Mace. He knew that the former had obligations just like the latter and as for Franz, he did not see his cousin deny that invite as he came back today anyways... While Atlantis waited, he placed his glass down on the table and walked over to the ladies' side.

She should have known that this evening was going to be a back to back type of event. . . Mace had been used to it before and now she really wasn't surprised that it continued. Although it wasn't a suggestion made by Atlantis, Andros or even Franz, it was a suggestion made by someone she had genuinely and sincerely embraced in knowing a bit more. It wasn't an easy situation for her, to tell the truth. Mace was at the antipodes of Lily's personality, she knew that the guys mainly would understand why she would decline the invitation without so much or no questions but when it came to the lawyer, she really could not tell.
Mace looked in her direction when Elika seconded the motion soon followed by Atlantis who had communicated to a few privately through the Force. She had a genuine smile but also an apologetic one as she placed her glass of wine down on the table, she had merely taken a sip, nothing more, nothing less, due to the fact that she really needed to be aware for what could turn out to be a long sleepless night.
Pursing her lips slightly, she closed her eyes momentarily before lifting her left hand in a surrender somewhat. "I am truly touched by the invitation," Began Mace softly but the tone of her voice clearly meant that she wasn't done speaking, at all. "But I have to decline it."
Of course, she did not expound her reasoning, of course she had the most placid gaze. Even though deep down, it was far from placid. Whatever was going on in her mind or how she was currently feeling, she preferred not to share it overly because she did not want to worry anyone right now.
Until she got to the bottom of those problems that occurred throughout the day, she wasn't going to exclaim to the whole wide galaxy what was going on right now. But that question from Atlantis, she only looked at him for a moment without any flicker of emotions, without giving anything away but she could tell that the man was really worried about Raan and so was Andros, that much she knew.
"I am truly sorry to you three." Finally said Mace after a moment of silence, she, of course, mainly addressed the three housemates with a respectful nod before smiling when she stood to her fullest again. "But I do hope that you all have fun celebrating tonight." She added on genuinely before focusing her attention onto Elika with a warm smile. "Elika, thank you again. . . For this. I hope that you all have fun this evening."
Inclining her head once again and this time towards everyone else, she glanced at her chrono after securing her gloves onto her hands to take her leave soon enough to be able to join up Raan and also tend to his daughter if necessary. . .

Franz, cook? It was laughable really, he even snorted a laugh when Andros suggested that in part due to what he asked but also him remembering something that had happened on Naboo, a conversation between him and Elika's aunt Iekika. All traces of amusement faded soon enough though because he also remembered the reasons why he had been there and what had happened that evening. It made him cringe internally and he even kicked himself mentally because that really was no laughing matter now that he thought about it more closely...
It seemed like it happened eons ago, it also made him wonder how Elika's aunt and uncle were faring, maybe he would ask her at a later time but right now they were toasting and Franz had noticed Elika's wry grin, but still it, for now, did not change the way he thought. Atlantis could be eloquent and so could Mace even though she was often silent. They just had that ability to nail it.
Taking a sip of his drink after the toast had ended, he ended up hearing Atlantis in his mind and he looked at his cousin with a questioning gaze but also an I don't know look. He had just arrived, he was the last person to be asked about Raan's whereabouts anyways. Thankfully though, before that event could raise any worries from everyone else in this room, Lily was coming up with a plan, actually suggesting something to further this celebration.
Franz gasped audibly, and lowered his glass looking at the three women right there in front of him before he closed his mouth again. "You three haven't gotten to the housewarming part yet, ever?" Franz asked with a surprised tone before blinking a few times and shaking his head before he narrowed his eyes suspiciously and briefly in Elika's direction. "Did you at least try, once, your headhunter?" Franz smiled only to show that he was actually joking and he could have guessed the underlying reasons on why they might never had that housewarming yet, or why Elika might not have tried her means of transportation yet.
So many things had happened these last few months, between work for some and other things, he did not blame them at all anyways. They all had different ways to deal with things anyways, so it was perfectly understandable anyways. Right now though, Atlantis had agreed to attend the housewarming but Mace was declining, he looked at the Kiffar and furrowed his eyebrows thoughtfully wondering what was calling her attention. This was Mace, so of course something was calling her attention and she never voiced those out audibly anyways, but just like always he did not question it, at all, and he still saw that she had not changed at all...
Franz sighed softly and looked at Elika, Crystal and Lily with a warm smile before inclining his head slightly. "Count me in, I really need a shindig." He said before looking at Andros thoughtfully wondering if he would join them also. Obviously, Mace was out of the equation, but still he could not help but to wonder why.

Where was Raan, and what happened to him? Those were good questions... Questions, Andros didn't know how to answer, couldn't answer, because he had no idea at all. All he knew was that he was required to take charge with the planet's dealings overall and that was it. Andros just ended up looking at his brother with an unknowing expression before reverting back to his usual stare.
Finishing his drink since the toast was done, Andros placed the glass down onto the table and looked dubiously over the three women standing right there. He wondered what idea Lily was going to have right about now, he found out the answer soon enough anyways and he smirked inwardly at what was being suggested right now. Housewarming party. Why the heck not?
He was invited, right? So, why not? Andros looked up when he first saw Atlantis agreeing to it and also Franz but Mace had declined the invitation. He could not help but to look in the Kiffar Master's direction with a impassive gaze and wondered what was holding her up currently. Could it be that maybe it had something to do with Raan? He really did not know and he actually did not want to speculate. If Mace required some help, she would ask anyways. Insofar, nothing was said by her so Andros looked at the group's direction and inclined his head.
"I am down." Andros replied to Atlantis' question with a knowing expression before glancing at Franz with a jaded look. Rolling his eyes exasperatedly but also playfully after he declared that he needed a shindig, Andros looked back at the ladies and smiled briefly.
"If you three want to lead the way..." Andros said thoughtfully before glancing at Mace with a dubious expression. Him, being him, though, did not ask anything at all but everything in his gaze said that if she needed anything, she could ask him and contact him whenever if necessary. "Before I forget though." Andros began to say as he pushed away that matter concerning Mace for now as he focused his attention onto Crystal, Elika and Lily. "Any extra things you might be needing for that housewarming?" He asked curiously and genuinely before tilting his head on the side thoughtfully.
He knew that they had the drinks covered and the food but some appetizers might be lacking right? Or anything else that he couldn't think of right now... Either way, he was ready to get those if necessary.

Clapping my hands when Elika clearly agrees to my idea, I smile excitedly before glancing at CKayne with a knowing expression. Now, all that is left is for the others to agree to join us. Lover boy agreeing, that doesn't surprise me at all. Everyone seems to agree except Mace. I am not really surprised for the latter, but at the same time, I am ...
What could be so important for her to tend to, this late in the evening? I have been told by Crystal and Atlantis back then, to never ever question Mace at all because she always does things for a reason whether we knew it or not. Shaking my head when Mace apologizes to us, I smile warmly before waving my hand somewhat dismissively. "No need to apologize, we understand that you may have things to deal with."
Rolling my eyes exasperatedly at both Atlantis and Franz, I laugh softly and shake my head for their respective comments. "Nope, we haven't had that housewarming yet, I reply to Franz with a knowing tone and expression before focusing my attention onto Atlantis. Oh please, lover boy, we haven't even started yet."
He is dramatic, he always has that dramatic streak ... Ridiculous. Looking over the Vice-Governor who inquires if we need extra stuff for the housewarming, I look in Elika's and Crystal's direction with a dubious expression. "Do we need anything? I ask them curiously and maybe mainly Crystal because she usually is on top of the food that is around the place. I usually always take care of the drinks anyways. Either way, we could always order in, right? If it is necessary. Or do we already have everything?"
I seriously do not know what we might be lacking back home, I was told by Crystal that she would take care of the cooking and all that because she likes creating complex things. I know how to cook but who am I to deny the fact that Crystal wants to always cook, anyways? If she weren't the CFO, I bet she would have turned out to be a chef. She is just that good anyways. Right now though, we are told to lead the way, so gathering all the glasses on the table and noticing that Mace hasn't finished hers but she did take a sip, I look from her glass to everyone else with a dubious expression.
"She isn't the drinking type, is she?"

Crystal rolled her eyes playfully when Atlantis said something with a joking tone, she even giggled softly before throwing a punch on his shoulder very gently when he moved to their side. She was glad though for his joke because the question she heard from him, she really had no idea on how to reply to that. She knew that Raan had put Andros in charge for the time being, but for how long, she really had no idea, at all. She knew deep inside that at least one of them would know what had happened to Raan, and if that answer had been given then she had not heard it.
That person she had in mind, the one who would actually know was the one declining the invitation. Crystal looked in Mace's direction with a concerned expression, but she could see from Mace's expression that nothing seemed to be wrong. Then again, Mace was the type of person who knew how to keep in check her expressions and emotions and never give anything away. Crystal only shook her head to say that she did not need to apologize at all and in a way, she knew that her duty would always come first anyways.
At least though, Andros would be coming, right? And Franz too, that was already something she was looking forward to. Crystal smiled at Franz's questions and rolled her eyes playfully. "Not yet, no. We all have been busy these last couple of months." Crystal replied with a knowing grin and decided to leave Elika answer about the headhunter part. It was her means of transportation, but then again she knew that Elika had always been so busy that her friend clearly did not have time for herself lately.
If she had tried the headhunter once, then Crystal had no idea at all, whether it was because she wasn't around, or actually it was because she hadn't been around to see that. She glanced at Andros after his question and then looked at Lily before shaking her head slightly. "We have everything at home, don't worry." Crystal looked back at Andros with a warm smile and inclined her head faintly. "Thank you for the offer, but we have everything under control." She said softly before she helped out Lily around the table and picked up some of the glasses but also the empty bottle.
Looking up in her childhood friend's direction when she asked if Mace wasn't the drinking type, Crystal actually did not know for sure. She actually never saw Mace drink an entire glass of alcohol now that she thought about it. "I am the last person you should ask that question, baby girl." Crystal said before she waited for everyone so that they could make their way out of the Academy after she made sure that she had not forgotten anything.

"Ow." Atlantis muttered upon receiving the punch on his shoulder. It was for show, of course, and truth be told, Crystal never punched him forcefully unless they were sparring. There was no way he would retaliate, there was no way he was going to lay a hand, or punch on his girlfriend whether it was for training sake or anything else. That wasn't just him, he never hit women unless they were bad news.
He was about to answer Franz's question about Elika trying or never trying the headhunter but an event captured his attention. Looking in Mace's direction after he had inconspicuously asked that question about Raan, Atlantis really had no idea on what to think or what to say. He tried with all of his 'might' to perceive something from the Kiffar, he tried to notice a sign but as expected he was unable to even get a fraction of her state of mind. Time and time again, he had said that she was the most guarded and ever so discrete Jedi out of all of them and at this very instant, he really did not stand corrected.
He had seen his very own identical brother's stare, the one that said he had no idea and that really proved one thing right now. All of them, or should he say most of them were really out of touch with the Senator. It had never been his intention to begin with but one thing led to another and then another and another... It wasn't effort lacking on his side, he tried for a while to fix that burning bridge but he also knew that it took two to fix that. So for the time being, he quit trying until that proverbial opportunity came knocking.
If his instincts weren't fooling him right about now, then deep in his gut he knew that something was going on. By the Force, that had been going on for several months now, he just couldn't believe how in the dark he was in. One statement though made him confirm that something was really going on; Lily's question.
Atlantis focused his attention on the glass that belonged to Mace and noticed that the glass was still full. That made him narrow his expression, whatever was going on with Mace, that was something she wasn't inclined to share for the time being, that much he knew, or second possibility, it wasn't her story to tell.
"She does drink, but not while she is still on duty." There was the truth there, Mace never drank or barely had a drink when something was going on. He looked in the direction of where she had taken off and took a deep breath before glancing at everyone else, considering they were all readying themselves for that housewarming. "I am sure she will be fine." Atlantis assured all of them before gesturing towards the exit.
"Let's go and finally do that housewarming." Atlantis said with a laugh, that had been a long time coming and truth be told, he really was looking forward to that the moment they all get back to the lakehouse...

{Continued from Academy Grounds and Entrance Hall}*Morgan had taken it upon herself to belatedly introduce her tailring Lokay, adding in that he liked bacon; no doubt that was due to the topic of food, and indeed the little tailring had looked around curiously at the mention of it. Smart little thing, he was. Atlantis was quick to assure Morgan that they had plenty of bacon for him, which admittedly was something Aerandir liked to hear as well, as well as adding that he only personally knew two good cooks, himself not being one of them, but he could manage.
On Serrin's suggestion, Atlantis led them to the dining hall, asking what they actually would like to eat, adding that there was a large selection. He then went on to explain that the farmers of Umgul had very fruitful outputs, mostly due to their land being returned to them and aided by an engineer at the request of Atlantis's brother. Andros Vyridian, Vice Governor of Umgul, this much Aerandir was aware of, as it wasn't particularly difficult information to come by, by any stretch of the word.
And also because it had been part of Atlantis's message, minus his name, but still.*Well, I'm not truthfully very picky, though I admit I can be a little partial to bacon. Not nearly as much as Lokay though. *He chuckled and turned his head to look at the little tailring, seeing as "bacon" was another word he recognized easily. Aerandir looked up as they exited the Academy, once more into the mists. After a brief few moments of cleared sight, its sudden return removed every last bit of the small amount of familiarity he had looking through it earlier. "In time," he supposed, as they reached the residential building. Here, Atlantis offered one of his guests to "do the honors," in regards to opening the door via print and retina scan.
Aerandir glanced at Michelle first, then gestured toward it, offering her the honors. In response, Michelle only grinned at him and mimicked his gesture, returning the offer to him. He had only meant the gesture harmlessly, but catching on quickly, he smiled back and repeated the gesture again, this back-and-forth going on for a few short seconds like a comedy routine until Aerandir turned toward Serrin and gestured toward her with both hands, palms up.*Master Roma! Why not you? *Michelle actually hadn't seen this punchline coming and she giggled loudly, amused by this. Was now the time for jokes? Aerandir could not be perfectly sure, but the mood had been light enough, and perhaps the feeling of being together with Michelle and Morgan on a mission again brought back old habits quite quickly; keeping the air light had been essential to their operation and keeping them in good spirits.*

I will! She'd love to see you! *Had been Morgan's response to Master Roma when she requested Morgan send her regards to Felucia, as well as her desire to visit Her again someday.
When she had knelt down to get a closer look at Lokay, Lokay peered back at her curiously, perhaps as though wondering if she were the one who'd give him food; he even licked his beak in anticipation, though didn't seem disappointed when he wasn't given anything to eat just yet. Perhaps he'd already accounted for that possibility. Morgan giggled, both at him and at Master Roma's greeting to him, then once more took her offered hand as the party moved on toward the dining hall.
With every mention of the word "bacon," Lokay became even more and more anxious and excited, peering around, sniffing the air, licking his jaw, padding his little clawed feet on Morgan's shoulder restlessly. Morgan tittered, always amused by his love of the tasty, tasty fried meat, though for his sake hoped she could feed him soon so he didn't have to be hungry much longer. Fortunately, as Atlantis had assured her, they would have plenty of bacon for him. As far as what she liked to eat, however...* I like sandwiches! I make my own though. I'm the best at it. *Indeed, she took pride in her mealtime masterpieces, rarely settling for the same combination twice; she always saw to it the ingredients were perfectly balanced, the condiments properly spread so that the taste and flavor perfectly complemented each other, creating the most savory sensation in her mouth. Rarely did she let someone make a sandwich for her... so rarely, in fact, she couldn't even recall an instance.
When they reached the residential building's dining hall entrance, Atlantis asked for one of them to do the honors. She had expected her daddy to offer it to either her or Michelle, which he had... only Michelle offered it right back, and so on, and so forth. Morgan watched in mild amusement until her daddy finally deflected it toward Master Roma. Morgan looked up at the Twi'lek Jedi and giggled; truth be told, Morgan had kind of wanted to "do the honors" herself, but if Master Roma wanted to, that was fine. After all, Morgan was sure she'd have more chances to soon enough.*

Smiling when Morgan assures me that Felucia would be as glad to see me as I would be to revisit Her, I listen as Atlantis explains that while he is capable of acquitting himself well enough in the kitchen he personally knows of two others more skilled in the culinary arts, and try not to look too terribly amused by poor Lokay's increasing signs of hunger when bacon is mentioned several times whilst we begin making our way to the dining hall.
Smiling as Aerandir and Michelle playfully offer one another the honor of being the one to open the door to the dining hall only to have the offer extended back to the one who had extended it, I place a hand to my chest with an exaggerated look of surprise when Aerandir breaks the routine and offers the honor to me, smiling as I say, "Just Serrin will do, Aerandir, thank you. Now then, why not me? Hmmm, let me see, I say, pursing my lips on thought with narrowed eyes while lifting a finger to tap my cheek as though pondering the possibility that has been presented deeply and thoroughly. Venturing a guess that Morgan might find the prospect of being the one to grant us all entry, I let go of her hand to step back and look at her before I say, No, no, I think it should be Morgan, I really do, yes," and then gesture towards the door with as much ceremony and flourish as I can wring from the gesture, offering Morgan the honor of admitting us all to the dining hall.

Atlantis had surprisingly been relaxed that entire time compared to what he had been acting throughout the whole day. Now that he had enough clarity, he saw that and understood that, he just blew it, but it definitely wasn’t going to mean that he was going to stand down. Of course he had called in for additional and of course they had made their way here but it did not change the fact that he would still follow his own personal lead.
… And now he was feeling guilty about that, especially towards the people he was accompanied by; the two girls, they did not deserve that at all. Hence him rubbing his nose currently. There were so many things, people, at stake that really the entire situation that his brother was being faced with, was just downright stupid. For now since Atlantis knew that it wasn’t the time nor let his worries take a hold of him, he just continued to lead the way towards the dining hall while listening attentively to both Aerandir and Morgan stating their preferences, and when he had stepped aside he had seen that Lokay definitely seemed anxious but that was just something he couldn’t help right now, so a little more time, he indicated that to Lokay with a quarter of an inch separation between his thumb and index fingers.
“I can see that Lokay is very receptive about that type of meal.” Atlantis said with amusement as he looked at Aerandir smiling faintly, he supposed that for several it was a lot to take in; the mist was very omnipresent outdoors, Atlantis wouldn’t be surprised if Aerandir found it taxing to begin with. Atlantis supposed though that they could discuss those things later, since it wasn’t that important for now, at least not to Atlantis currently for he was particularly attentive to Morgan right now. “I am sure that we have things to make sandwiches for your own likings,”
Quite honestly? He wasn’t too certain of that, Atlantis rarely ate during lunch time and for dinner, he was often at the lakehouse for understandable reasons if asked he guessed but that wasn’t the question, right now it was a sandwich and bacon matter for both Morgan and Lokay mainly and Aerandir partially. Currently though, Atlantis was more taken by the back and forth between Aerandir and Michelle, he wasn’t going to deny that he was observing them, but that scene right before his eyes definitely made him chuckle almost inaudibly. “Let me guess, you two are siblings huh?” It wasn’t that much of a wild guess to be perfectly honest, after all he had been through that a long time ago with Andros but also the rest of his family, and despite the fact that he clearly did not know what rapport the three of them had, besides the fact that he had seen, or read on Serrin’s lips that she was making a reference to Morgan’s father, Aerandir in this case, then it was just one happy family…
Again, a moment of feeling guilt, he had to bring in a family into this also. Way to go, Vyridian, way to go… Atlantis thought with an impassive expression.
Thankfully though the fact that Serrin had been asked to handle the clearance who then handed that to Morgan managed to keep him grounded, at least for now, and the amusement did return to his fortune. Atlantis completely ‘erased’ himself to let Morgan deal with the access to the dining hall and he just leaned against a wall there waiting patiently for them to get into the area.
