Walking through the halls of her command ship, Asmodeus, Zariel received an alert on her personal communicator. Checking her wrist, she heard the familiar voice of 'High Moff' Atash. She humored his vaunted title since he had the political acumen she lacked to hold a sector, but currently she thought the title was a bit... much, given their current situation. All the same, Atash had good news. Something that was in short supply out on these fringes of the Galaxy. A new swarm fighter that could give them an edge. A good thing considering it wouldn't be long before their little fief started drawing attention to itself from other powers. Pressing down to respond, Zariel spoke in her same tone that made everything sound dull to her. Very good, Atash. I will inform Vidarr Saren . I look forward to the outcome of your other projects. Switching over to transmit to her subordinate and nominal second-in-command Vidarr. The TIE Droid tests were a success. You can start replacing your losses from the last raid with these more expendable units. But that doesn't mean they're cheap, just cheaper than losing aces needlessly. Giving the commander of Task Force Hercules a chance to respond, Zariel made her way to the brig. This ships brig was specifically designed to keep and hold dangerous Force users. And as it happened their was one in residence now. A creature known as Valon .Zariel entered the brig and came to stand in front of the cell containing this hulking beast of a humanoid. The Lightside radiated from him like a beacon. A sickening and useless beacon here in this den of the Darkside. Through the blue hued containment field, Zariel looked at the beast with disgust. So far it had been resistant to conventional torture, but Zariel was far from done with this... thing. Once more, sounding uninterested and board, Zariel spoke to Valon.Well, beast? Are you going to talk today, or am I going to get to torture you again? She began to pace slowly in front of his cell, hands clasped behind her back. My technicians have cracked even more of the data on your home planet, 4R9U5. Tagge Mining was wise to hide it. It is a valuable resource. Though from the records it seems the removed the chaff before beginning mining. Well, all of it save one. She looked pointedly at Valon. A sigh. Well, I couldn't expect perfection from a mining company... Perhaps I should dig a little deeper, find the navigational charts and go make sure they didn't miss anymore? Stopping she looked at Valon. Unless, you tell me how you became what you are. Then I will have no need to glass your little home.

The space over Bonadan was relatively... crowded these past several days. The ongoing conflict with rebels in the southern parts of the Corporate Sector, the proclamation of a Diarchy between a High Moff and his superior, Inquisitor Zariel, and barely a moment to even get a power nap. He and the crew were definitely a bit stretched. That was probably why Vidarr's eyes were closed, his cap slightly adjusted to cover his eyes, and his posture slumped in his chair. The venture to Zariel's command ship, aboard one of his fleet's Delta-class T-3c shuttles, warranted just enough time to get a little sleep. Yet, this wasn't for long as his aide, Commander Val Cardas, nudged him awake. Vidarr, after stretching and rubbing his eyes with two fingers, looks over at his subordinate.
What, Cardas? This better not be some sort of realization that we missed something. Cause I swear on Sage Pestage's bird-like throat-
His deputy, Val Cardas, who commanded the Scimitar, shook his head.
Communication from Lt. Colonel Bravanc. The Lady Inquisitor hailed you on the Hercules. He is transferring the transmission now.
With what little time there was, Vidarr straightens himself up and smacks the side of his face a couple times to wake himself up. Lt. Colonel Bravanc was soon heard on his comlink before the transmission with the Lady Inquisitor was heard in his ear. Vidarr resists the urge to slam his fist on the armrest with a surge of long awaited triumph. Vidarr, resisting that urge, keys his comlink.
I can begin having Lt. Colonel Bravanc begin giving the pilots some much needed rest then, Lady Inquisitor. Tell the High Moff he... well tell him congratulations on the success. Those should come in handy when we make our move against Etti IV. Our fleets need these starfighters to shore up our losses. I should be arriving at your flagship, in a few moments, to discuss further matters as mentioned earlier. Captain Seran out.
He keys off his comlink, allowing the Imperial to slam his fist.
About bloody time those TIE droids be ready!
Weeks upon weeks of waiting had finally paid off! It felt like the High Moff had been promising these models for a long time.At long last, his pilots could come off of standby and patrols to get some much needed rest. Vidarr looks over at Cardas.
Commander Cardas, relay the news to the fleet. Give the pilots a six hour leave to rest up, eat, and bathe. Put any reserve pilots on standby though and relay to the High Moff's staff how many of those TIE Droids we need.
Cardas quietly obeys as the Commander stands up and heads to the cockpit to relay these orders to the commanders of Task Force Hercules. Vidarr then hears someone move behind him, causing the Imperial to glance slightly at the sight of an armored figure.
Huh... forgot you even came with us. Surprised your breathing didn't wake me up.
Through the mask, Maxir, the mysterious leader of the Gang of Five, speaks back.
And here I thought we were getting along, Captain.
Captain Seran, feeling like the Dark Jedi was smiling, snorts slightly in response as the shuttle makes its final approach to the Asmodeus.

The High Moff nodded and turned off the comm.
"Commodore Brantirr, take us to shipyard designated with the serial number B5-ZT785SD3"
"At once, my lord"
The ship made a microjump to the said location. The facilities were placed in a moon, a ring of shipyards circled it. There was a buzz of activity around one of the larger drydocks. The Manticore approached it at sublight speed. The shape soon could be glanced among the machinery, triangular, menacing and towering. Atash's prized gem, his most treasured development, a third Star Destroyer model, a newer generation of the Imperial-class. A ship to conquer and dominate. The TIE Droid project had some of its funds diverted to the High Moff's true priority. He walked towards the aft's windows to look at it, admirative.
"Sire, incoming holocall"
"Allowed"
An holographic bust appeared on the bridge. A Rodian, wearing the two-colored uniform of the Imperial engineers. She has a colonel badge displayed over the chest.
"High Moff"
"Linn Tuktok"
Atash clasps both hands behind his back, while the holographic shape tilts and wavers.
"We received the last shipment. The materials were as good as promised and those droids accelarated the end of the construction"
"I assured you that would be the case, director"
"The ship is almost completely functional, High Moff. The hyperdrive, the weapon systems and the engines are fully functional. We vaporized to atoms those asteroids you dragged with the tractor beams. The reports are remarkable, the ship does have more firepower than both its predecessors"
"That is, indeed, a good development"
"We believe it's on par with whatever equivalent the squids might be able to throw at us"
"Anything else to report?"
"The longerange turbolasers and heavy equipment make the ship slightly slower than expected, High Moff. There's less energy output to the engines as we originally intended"
"Still on par with class II?"
"Indeed. There won't be a noticeable difference"
"Did you include my latest specifications?"
"Yes, High Moff. The tactical supercomputer and the command center were arranged as we were instructed"
"Excellent. Launch time?"
"Less than a fortnight. Probably one seven planetary rotations and it'll be ready for launch"
The moff nods, approvingly.
"Atash out"
"Copy. Linn out"
He waves a hand and the communication is cut. The moff then turn heels to look at his would-be flagship. He places his right hand on the window.
Almost done... with you and the droid the whole sector will soon be under control...

The hulking frame of the Lightforged being known as Valon shifted. His head lifting up as he sensed the dark and sickening aura of Zariel approach his cage. He had no idea how much time had passed since he'd been tossed into the cell. it could have been days, weeks, maybe even months. Any semblance of time had ceased to exist considering how often Zariel had subjected him to her wrath in the form of lightning. The metal implanted in his skin unfortunately acting as a heavy conductor for the Force created electrical charge. This had lead him to passing out on several occasions and waking up alone.
He leveled his gaze upon the pale-skinned, pointy-eared woman as she tried questioning him once more. While she might have saved him from Tagge Mining, he had merely exchanged one jailer for another. Her dark intentions clear within the Force. Which was part of why he had not told her anything of his people and where he came from. The other part was that he truthfully had no idea what she was talking about when she spoke of navigational charts and star charts. The world she called 4R9U5 was all that he had known, and advanced technology like that which made this vessel traverse the stars did not exist until the invaders had come.
He pushed himself up to his feet. Using the wall of his cell to support himself as he approached the shimmering blue wall. He had tried to get through it before, but it seemed impervious to any of his attempts to escape. He wrap his right hand across his stomach to grip his left side. Feeling a deep ache from her previous torture session. His left hand pressed against the wall as he panted under the effort of standing right nowEven if I told you, demon... You would still not be satisfied... You thirst for blood... for war... Nothing will ever fulfill you... He collapsed to the side against the wall. Sliding down with his back against it until he was seated on the floor once more. He felt it within the force that he was the last of his kind. No matter how much he hoped and wished it to be otherwise, he could feel it deep within himWaste your time finding my home if you think you can... My people are all gone... Only those invaders exist there now... He met her cold blue gaze with his glowing golden eyes then. Staring her down defiantly. Knowing it would be for naught anyway. She would still cause him pain and suffering. Hoping to get her answersBesides... Even if I were to tell you what you wanted to know... Your heart and soul are too full of darkness... So torture me all you like. I will tell you nothing of my people's secrets... You will kill for the sake of killing, and nothing I say or tell you, will ever stop that...

A sigh, almost a laugh, escaped her nose. Followed by a half smile. Zariel signaled the guard who lowered the containment field. But unlike previous times, she didn't let loose with a barrage of Force Lightning immediately. No she stepped forward. She stepped right up to where the creature leaned against the wall and looked down at him. Unphased by his height or powerful build, because she knew she held the power right now. If he tried anything, she was ready to electrocute him into last rotation, if she needed. Kneeling down to be on eye level with him she whispered to him. No longer disinterested, or disconnected. It seemed Valon had touched on something within her. Still her voice was soft, but also something about it was soothing.
Tell me, did you have children? If not, than you can not possibly fathom what brings me fulfillment, or why I do what I do. In simple terms, so even your primitive mind can understand, I am building a strong future for my child. One they will someday come to rule in my place when I am gone. Then I will be satisfied and fulfilled. Much like what ever happened to you, I was made, and molded into something, a tool. A tool to be used by those more powerful than me to resolve a time of great crisis. Now that man is gone and I had to find my new purpose. Perhaps you will find one too. Maybe you want revenge? Against me, against those who slaughtered your people? Making Sinners pay can be a fantastic purpose. One I can help you with. I know that spark of hate is in their, waiting to be kindled into the roaring fire that will make you powerful enough to cleanse your home, protect the final resting place of your people. She stands with a sigh, and once more adopting her tone of utter disinterest. Think it over.
She turns and walks out of the cell. The field reactivates as soon as she passes the threshold. Turning to the guards on duty, Make sure he eats, and if you can, get him something for those electricity burns.
As Zariel made her way back toward the bridge, she received another transmission from her personal communicator, this time her daughter, Reya's voice came over.
Mother, Captain Saren, will meet you soon in the hanger, for you to meet with the High Moff.
Once more in her soft and soothing voice. Thank you, Reya. I will meet him in the hanger. Oh. And Reya. I'm so proud of you.
Reya, a little surprised. Th-Thank you, mom...
The transmission ended, and Zariel turned to head to hanger, where she would meet with Saren, and travel together to their meeting.

Captain Saren's arrival came shortly as his shuttle landed within the hangar bay of the Asmodeus. Despite how many years he had seen the vessel, the Imperial still felt it odd. It was the transitional ship between the obsolete Venators and the more advanced Imperial Star Destroyers. A number of features, on this vessel, were field tested for the future of the Imperial Navy. Granted, this ship was still in usage, but it was nothing compared to the pride of the Imperial Navy. Yet, it easily put those Venators to shame.
Slowly, his gaze moved about the hangar bay, seeing the repairs done to starfighters, squadron pilots on standby, crews going here and there... his gaze slowly moved to look upon his own fleet, situated behind the Imperial. Vidarr gazed at it for some time. It brought back memories of home on Ciutric IV, the fateful events that put it under his command, the various battles that were hard on his men, and more.
Yet these thoughts were interrupted by a new commotion as an alarm went off. Vidarr looks to his right to see the Inquisitor's shuttle being brought out of storage and prepped for departure. Before an inquiry could be formally made, one of his Stormtroopers keyed his helmet and then reported of a change. The Lady Inquisitor was preparing to depart to visit the High Moff and the Captain was requested to join her. Vidarr exhales, visibly annoyed.
She couldn't have told me that earlier...
His mumbling was heard by Commander Cardas, who turned to his superior.
Sir, I would refrain speaking out loud.
Vidarr glares at his second-in-command. Sometimes, Cardas didn't know when to shut his mouth. Yet, time and time again, his words helped save the fleet from bad situations and was good advice, if not close to pestering, to Saren. It was why the Commander of the Scimitar was chosen and tolerated. Maxir kept his silence, Vidarr wondered if this was because the Dark Jedi felt this was below him.
They didn't have to wait long as Zariel was soon seen entering the hangar bay with her own escort. While Maxir bowed his head, both Saren and Cardas snapped to attention, with the Stormtrooper escorts snapping into a crisp posture. Once they were given the inaudible permission to relax, the Imperial, along with his aide and the Dark Jedi, fell in line with Zariel and her escort. Vidarr's Stormtroopers turned and headed back onto his shuttle.
I suspect you are going to congratulate the High Moff in person, Lady Inquisitor? Although... his success comes a little later than expected. Etti IV is still a defiant element and I know he is eager, as well as the rest of the fleet, to move against this planet.

Turning to the guards on duty, Make sure he eats, and if you can, get him something for those electricity burns. As the field lowered, he made no move to escape. Even putting aside her power, he was in no fit shape to try and fight his way out of where ever he was being held. Unfamiliarity with his location kept him just as captive as the blue wall of energy and the electricity that was produced by Zariel did. He held her gaze as she entered his cage and lowered herself down to be at a height with him. His gaze fixing upon hers as she settled in and spoke.
He had lost his wife, his son, and his daughter on the day he had been captured. Tagge Mining had forced him to watch as they tortured and beat his wife, taking turns using her for hours on end. Finally ending her life long after her mind had been broken. His children had been spared such evil fates, but not by much, since they were made to watch it all before they were killed. Darkness had filled those men's hearts and minds. Rotting them to the core.
He let her speak and go on, trying to justify her cruelty as a means to create a strong future for her child. Her answer only proving his earlier statements to be true. He let out a sigh as she rose up and told him to think over a life of darknessWe are not the same... You were made to be a tool of destruction, to oppress the weak... I was elevated as a champion, as a defender of those that could not defend themselves... You are right that we were both made, but that is where our similarities end... I do not seek vengeance upon you or any others... no... I feel only pity for you... and for your child the day they inherit this empire of blood, that they might be repulsed by it and forsake all that you have built... He watched as the blue energy field returned once more and she left the guards with orders to ensure he ate and his burns were treated. Charity that he did not care to receive from her. Knowing that she only wished to ensure he recovered enough for her to inflict further pain and suffering upon him. He would stare down and give a warning glare to any of Zariel's soldiers that tried approaching his cage to tend to his injuries. Meanwhile, any food placed in his cage by the guards would remain untouched as he remained in the back corner. Pulling upon what little of the force he could to heal and sustain himself

Coming back, Reya stood in front of his cell, her head tilted to the side a bit as she studied him. He didn't seem that monstrous, so he had horns, but so did plenty of other species, same with his tail.Are- Are you the 'monster' I keep hearing about? Who are you? The red-painted ISDII offers its ventral hangar bay to the Inquisitor and her people. Two rows of assault stormtroopers lined the way from the shuttle to where Atash stood in his white uniform. Few officers on duty were also in attendance, including few of the High Moff's aides. The bay itself was a buzz of activity, with ships being repaired, TIEs in maintenance, TIE Droids being installed on the racks and patrolling stormtroopers.
"Welcome, Inquisitor, yet again, to the Manticore"
Said the moff, openning both arms. His face and manners were very hard to read; after all, he had been a director in the ISB. Behind him stood someone in the unmistakingly imposing uniform of an Imperial Royal Guard, weapon in hand, his or her face impossible to see under the featureless helmet.

Azrea Thrune watched the meeting carefully, so far armed visibly with the traditional force pike of the Emperor's royal guard. Although she remained in the background, she eyed the visiting Inquisitor sceptical through the visor of her helmet, knowing that she would have to battle her in case of an unlikely battle. Yet, unlike the High Moff she trusted those other imperials not a bit, no matter how fine she had dressed herself up, no matter how friendly her smile might be, she was ready to strike if she had to. Currently the man, she protected had several escape routes in case of an ambush, while the force pike would do its worst, if she dared to force choke him. Back then during her training she had learned much under Daala's tutorship, pushed herself to the outer limits in hopes that she would serve one day the true Emperor or a man like him once more. Not the man in the core regions, who surrounded himself with the likes of Jedi and other force users, who would one day mean his downfall, just like the Galactic Republic had fallen to the likes of Jedi, but a man of strength. And although High Moff Torkan had yet to proof this strength, he was not solely her savior, but also a man who thought along the lines of Daala. Who still had the old vision of the Empire in mind. She would ensure that this man would live another day, as she honored the oath she once swore him.

But for now she needed to be sure all her subordinates were content enough so as not to risk her position. But that was why she had Maxir with Saren, to make sure a coup wouldn't happen. The Mephistopheles made its way to the High Moff's flagship, requesting permission to land. 'You and I both' thought Vidarr, suspecting she could hear his thoughts on that matter. With the relief coming, at long last, in the form of these automated starfighters, his pilot crews could begin to relax and get some much needed rest. They had been on the edge of their seats long enough and pushed far beyond their limits. Hopefully, Task Force Hercules could be granted a little time to rest before the move against Etti IV.All I can say is that, when the time comes to attack Etti IV, my fleet will be ready, Lady Inquisitor. Some of the crews, along with my pilots, are getting some much deserved rest and relaxation with the automated fighters completed. They are gonna need the rest before we move against the CSA's former capital. With those words said, Vidarr, Cardas, and Maxir joined Inquisitor Zariel on her shuttle and left the Asmodeus for the Manticore within a short time. At least, this time, Vidarr wasn't as tired as he was on his shuttle.========================================= Vidarr disembarked from the Inquisitor's shuttle. Cardas and Maxir chose to remain with the shuttle as Zariel only desired the Captain's presence. The Imperial would relay what was said in the meeting at a later time. From the looks of things, the High Moff's crews looked in a better shape than his own men. Then again, they hadn't jumped from one side of the galaxy to the next, trying to stay ahead of their pursuers. Corporate Sector was the first time they could relax for longer than a few minutes.
As the High Moff spoke directly with Zariel, Captain Seran noticed the Imperial Royal Guardsmen behind Torkan. So the rumors were true... one of the few remaining Guardsmen had survived the turmoil of Empire's fall and had put their support behind the High Moff. The presence of this Guardsmen felt like a means to legitimize the Diarchy, or at least Torkan's side. Whatever the case, it was clear that support was growing for the Diarchy. At least this meant this faction wouldn't be anything short-lived like previous warlords.

Coming back, Reya stood in front of his cell, her head tilted to the side a bit as she studied him. He didn't seem that monstrous, so he had horns, but so did plenty of other species, same with his tail.Are- Are you the 'monster' I keep hearing about? Who are you? Her voice was soft and soothing, like her mothers (when she chose to use it), but this was different, it was how she spoke normally, not hiding it behind a vale of disconnection. Valon remained curled up within the corner of his cell when he felt someone approaching. Unlike Zariel's sickening dark aura, this one seemed untainted. A curiosity given his captors penchant for evil and all things dark. He lifted his gaze to peek out over his crossed arms as the pale skinned woman in her brightly coloured dress passed by. Seeming to disappear just as quickly as she had appeared. Perhaps she was set on rescuing some other of Zariel's prisoners, or was seeking them out for some other activity. It was not uncommon, after all, for prisoners to be sold off for a night to wealthy looking women.
He had lowered his gaze into his arms by the time she appeared in front of his cell once more. His golden gaze lifted once more and rested on the young woman and her colourful, yet revealing, choice of clothing. One of his eyebrows raised then, as she asked in all genuine honesty if he was the monster she had heard about. He pushed himself up and half walked, half stumbled over to the wall of blue energy. He watched the woman for a moment in silence before striking the wall of energy with his fist and letting out a bestial roar.
He supported himself between the wall of energy and the normal wall then. Keeping his face level with that of the woman outside as she stared at himDo I live up to your expectations... Or am I still as disappointing? You may call me Valon, and you are?

Zariel proved equally hard to read, as with most things in life she approached this meeting with the same indifference a blank, thousand meter stair. She made note of the assembly gathered to welcome her and the others, or perhaps it was insurance. After all she could easily kill this man, the only real threat was the person standing behind him. The Imperial Guard was something Zariel did envy about the Moff. Having the loyalty of one such as that, in addition to her Dark Jedi would all but solidify her as the successor to Palpatine's empire. But it seemed, as with the Diarchy itself, they would have to share that role. Zariel gave a polite head dip to the human before her before replying in the same low and seemingly board voice.
I thank you for the personal greeting, High Moff. And allow me to once more congratulate you on the success of the TIE Droid project. I was hoping we could convene with other to discuss what our next step would be. I know my second here, indicating Saren, and I are eager to put down the last holdouts of resistance in this sector.

Reya didn't flinch as the being struck the energy wall and roared. Clearly either a joke, or a test. Either way she wasn't too impressed. But then he spoke. Something she hadn't quite expected, but welcomed all the same. Tilting her head the other way, a small smile graced her face.
I'm sorry to say, but I am rather disappointed. I had expected something taller, more pointy teeth, and, well, less eloquent. But all that said, you are like nothing I've seen before, Valon. She moved over to the control terminal and started to look up his profile. My name is Reya, by the way. I guess since you shared your name I can share mi- oh sithspit. She didn't look up as she spoke but soon a look of disappointment crossed her face. It seems the guards here don't have access to even look at your file. She leaned on the edge of the computer terminal, taking a closer look at Valon. So then, you've told me your name, but you haven't told me Who you are?

He broke a small smile when she did not flinch. She was either extremely confident in the blue field of energy, or she knew he could not or would not hurt her. He let out a small chuckle as she started describing his lack of exaggerated features and the disappointment it caused. Yet also seemingly complimenting his unique appearance. He pushed himself off the wall, standing slightly straighter than before as he watched her I'm sorry for being such a disappointment... He watched as she moved over to the control console and introduced herself as Reya, then proceeded to curse a couple moments later over not being able to access his file. He let out an amused huff as he leaned back against the solid wall, and leaned his forehead against the blue wall of energy. His golden gaze still upon her as she leaned on the edge of the terminal to look at him Even if they could, there's not much to read... Zariel has tried her best to torture me... He motioned to the burns that spread out from the metal that was fused to the skin of his shoulder But to no affect... My knowledge is useless to those of the Dark... He leaned his head back against the wall, looking up at the roof as she asked who he was Who I am is all dependent upon who you ask... Some clearly call me a monster... But I'm little more than the last of my people... A champion of the Light... A failed champion... But a champion none the less... What of you? You seem... out of place here Reya...

The High Moff started walking towards the elevator, followed by the guard herself, a crimson shadow. He didn't trust Force users either, by definition they had brought ruin with their obscure machinations. Palpatine's obsession with that dark church and teachings of the Sith had costed the Empire a great deal. And, time after time, inquisitors, Emperor's Hands and their cadre had done more to weaken the Empire than to enforce it. Pellaeon saw it, he didn't need those fanatics. But he had ten times more territory and manpower than Atash did currently, so, for the time being he would have to treat with that Inquisitor. "No need to thank me, it's only due the efforts of our technicians and engineers that the production of the said droid fighter was sucessful"Atash controlled the key personel, the bureaucracy and had sway over the populace, everything the Inquisitor lacked. She only had blunt, raw power, like a blade without a hilt. Once in the turbolift he replies the second part of the sentence. "We're more than willing to destroy the remnants of the Seccession. Once they're dealt with I will start a true Reconstruction of this sector. I bet you will personally enjoy annihilating what's left of the CSA and its slavers"

Entering the turbolift, Zariel nodded but deadpanned once again. I am pleased to hear it. Once our boarders are secure, we can focus wholeheartedly on your pet projects.
Her attention shifted forward as she waited for them to arrive at their destination. You didn't need the Force to feel the tension between all the various parties. This was an alliance of survival, everyone was compromising or sacrificing something to be a part of it. But what they got out of it, for now, was all that was important. Perhaps once all parties came to know and understand each other better, the Diarchy could rest on a foundation of mutual respect. But for now, a need for survival was good enough for Zariel.

Reya watched as the Lightspawn struggled to stay standing, and noting all the harm that had been done to it. That was definitely her mother's handy work. Zariel had been trying to teach her daughter Force Lightening over the past few months, but Reya lacked the anger and deep connection to the Darkside needed to manifest such power. All the same, she tried yet lacked that deep anger and hatred. Unlike her other apprentices, Zariel couldn't bring herself to be cruel to Reya, so as to help unlock that darkness. But it wasn't like Reya was planning on using it, not yet any way. Valon hadn't made any sort of move to threaten her, and besides, the force field kept him at bay.
You presume much, Valon. Why do you say I'm out of place here? Your jailer and my mother are one in the same. I am here she indicated the brig, because I was curious. I heard of a great beast that my mother could not break. An impressive feet, since most of her Dark Jedi were once lightsiders. That's something you should know about her. She doesn't like wasting... things. Why kill a lightsider when you can turn them to your side? Not only do you succeed in removing a Jedi from the galaxy, but you also gain an ally or servant. Shrugging She'll either break you eventually, or she'll keep you around for stress relief.

The turbolift's door slided. They had arrived to the meeting chamber aboard the Imperial Star Destroyer. The walls were austere, everything was rigid, minimalistic, cold; usual Imperial aesthetic. The large table was emblazoned with the sigil of the Diarchy.
"Take a seat"
The moff sat at the head of the table, the some of the seats were reserved for the Inquisitor and her people, while the others were filled by various men and women under the Imperial's command, including a female Rodian wearing the uniform of the engineers, a dark-skinned woman with a governor's badge and a blond man belonging to the Diarchy's variant of ISB. Atash pointed an empty chair by his side to the guard, all clad in red.
"Commander, you may take your seat and remove your helmet, if you so wish"
He whispered to the red shadow standing behind him. Then, his atention returned to the guests on his destroyer:
"Members of the council: we now have sufficient manpower to subdue the rebel systems. Our engineer corps have not only developed valuable assets, like the TIE Droids and the formidable TIE Daggers, but also these ships"
He keyed the holoprojector: a series of schematics appeared, tilting before everyone present.
"I introduce you to the Cazador, the Surtidor, the Aniquilador, the Cargador..."
The new designs flickered in blue light, with floating notes and specifications in aurabesh, and several views and cuts per model, all proudly paraded before the viewers. The Rodian looked particularly pleased; the ISB agent and the governor expressed their approval enthusiastically.
"...And the Imperial III-class Star Destroyer"
The angular design proudly introduced themselves its holographic shape floating over the holoprojector, reflected on the table's mirrored surface. The ship provoked an excited murmur among the people in attendance.

Although Azrea heard what her superior told her, she solely took her place while leaving the helmet on. Even among allies, she was quite careful when it came to showing her real face, but in front of those strangers she neither even intended to show them her face. One of the main reasons why the Royal Guard was feared by the public was also due to their silent, intimidating appearence. Like shadows in the background, always silently watching the Emperor and those with whom he interacted. A faceless person. Azrea embodied this faceless aura, as there was no need for others to know more than necessary about her past.
Thus she solely listened silently towards Moff Atosh's presentation of the new ship designs, taking note of everything what was said at the table.

Captain Saren takes a seat with the Lady Inquisitor as this meeting begins. The Imperial watches as, instead of battle plans for Etti IV and the remainder of the campaign, new technology was revealed before their eyes. Certainly, the Captain was impressed to see newer vessels that could be readily added to their fleet, but only a few were truly noted as being new to the naval roster. Yet, a part of him was slightly irritated. They had waited over Bonadan for the necessary Automated TIEs, when the High Moff was crafting more tech instead of moving against their foes. Vidarr wondered how Zariel was taking these displays herself. She surely hadn't mentioned any of these developments at meetings between her, him, and their shared staff. Whatever the case, hopefully they would be underway with these projects done.

Taking her seat opposite Atash, Zariel watched with disinterest as image of ship after ship appeared before them. Though she hid it well under her vale of boredom, this display annoyed her as much as it did Vidarr. More ships, more prototypes, and more tests was all that this was amounting to in the short term, when what they needed now was a decisive victory to boost moral and have some semblance of order in their own system. A familiar sigh punctuated the beginning of her equally familiar style of speech.
As impressive as these creations may be, I trust they will not distract us from what is our most pressing goal?
