Zariel waited for Saren to be satisfied, before leading the way back to the Mephistopheles. Once aboard and underway, back to the flagship, Asmodeus, Zariel finally spoke to her second. A sigh. If that insufferable man didn't have his little red shadow, I'd have killed him by now. Her tone was still for the most part dry and bored, but the faintest twinges of frustration could be heard within it. Captain, while my Dark Jedi and I are on the ground, you will command our forces in Space, and help co-ordinate with our main ground attack forces. I have complete faith in your ability.

Reya backed her way out of the cell, still speechless and horrified, she reactivated Valon's forcefield and stumbled from the brig.

Captain, while my Dark Jedi and I are on the ground, you will command our forces in Space, and help co-ordinate with our main ground attack forces. I have complete faith in your ability. Captain Saren stood next to the Lady Inquisitor on the bridge of her ship. The Imperial, himself, was more than happy to return to the familiar corridors of the fleet. He glances at Zariel when she speaks, mirroring a similar opinion that he shared with his superior. While the answers given by Torkan had satisfied him, there was an air about the High Moff that was... insufferable.I do not doubt those words, Lady Inquisitor. I find myself getting a little irritated too.The High Moff was certainly going for a lot of symbols to add to his legitimacy. The presence of that Imperial Guardsman was one of them, then came the new vessels, the emblem of their faction, and more. It may be Diarchy in name, but it was obvious that Torkan wished to establish a new Empire, with him as Emperor likely. No doubt that may draw the ire of the First Order, but Vidarr had no qualms with it now. Plenty tried before after all.We can only ensure that he doesn't use us in order to make your side of the Diarchy weaker and ensure his absolute prominence. He has his assets and so do you, Lady Inquisitor. For now, let's play ignorant and keep an eye on things. The High Moff was intelligent though. Playing ignorant may not work. He turns though when Lady Zariel grants him command of her fleet during the operations in the Etti system. Captain Saren salutes the Inquisitor.I will place the 44th, 77th, and 78th units under your command, Lady Zariel. Overall command of those three will fall under General Arsus Bravanc. I will keep a couple of the Five with me, however. Their battle meditation has proven useful and we will need to minimize our losses as much as possible.

"But common folk are made of a lesser stock, I assure you"
Said the former director of the ISB. If he knew about something was about human -and alien- nature and where the breaking points were. "The gigantic shape of a destroyer can put lesser governments into disarray. Planets are conquered just by fear and this ship will instill fear"
He waves a hand. "I'm sure of it, the Manticore will be in shape for anything you might throw at it. It's a proud ship, honor its legacy. And, of course, my crew is my crew. They have been with me for years, we're used to each other, I won't give it up. I will leave the choice of a new tripulation to you, commander, you're free to chose whoever you want among our current manpower. I guess you better than anyone to pick up your staff"The moff strikes his bearded chin. "May I know the results of your recent review of our current land forces? Etti IV might need a land assault to subdue it" The same can be said about the Death Stars and the Executor... and where are they now? Trying to focus, she ignored Torkan's glorified talk about his latest toy in mind, knowing at least that he was right with one statement. Yes, those Star Destroyers were meant to subjugate systems and keep them under controll by the principle of fear. Azrea probably wouldn't waste most of the fire upon ground assaults, as there were more effective targets in space to demonstrate the fire power of these vessels most likely - yet one salve from a single turbo laser was enough to destroy an entire village as a warning. The citizens of Etti IV would probably learn this lesson quick enough, if they would dare to defy their forces longer than needed.
"Pathetic by my standarts, but enough to have a chance against those petty lords and their assets", she solely said, "They'll show their worth in the upcoming battle, as the heat of battle will sort out the standart from the veterans. However, no matter their training, they will either proof that they are true warriors of the Empire or die shameful with it on the battlefield. I made this clear to them and I can only hope for the both of us, that they won't disappoint within their ambitions. I already prevented two mutiny attempts by assassinating the instigators and executing those publicly, whom conspired with them, because they think of themselves as something better than soldiers, it would be a shame to see the rest fail me as much as previous disappointments." Thrune knew that these sacrifices had to be made, if they wanted to iron their Legions. Without an Emperor or any higher authority other than her and the High Moff to gouvern them, each of these soldiers had to know their worth and to whom they had sworn their oath, no matter the losses. Given that now the Diarchy was formed and this Inquisitor Zariel was commanding imperial forces on her own side as well, her preparations were probably fortunate enough for the High Moff, as she had shaped his troopers into ruthless, yet disciplined legions of troopers. They knew the prize if they would dare to revolt against them and Azrea knew that this would proof useful in further negotiations between the warlords, should they ever have to question the loyality of their own forces towards their leaders.

"However, I won't deploy my troops unless absolutely necessary"
He said, gesturing to the guardswoman with his right hand.
"Let the Inquisitor absorb the blunt of the assault, just like we will suffer the most in orbit. If some of her force users die, better that way"
The moff makes it's chair turn to a side to look at some artwork displayed on the side of his wide desk.
"These adepts of the dark church of Palpatine and Vader make me unease, commander. It's something I cannot fully comprehend. My job was and has always been to know, to understand, to wield knowledge as a weapon, but... they are beyond reason"
He turns back to face the commander.
"Every guardsmen you train for my Royal Guard, I want them to be able to deal with force users. If necessary, scour the archives, you have access to them from the Manticore. Find weapons to deal with them, training methods, whatever. I trust you will know what to do"

Reya backed her way out of the cell, still speechless and horrified, she reactivated Valon's forcefield and stumbled from the brig. Valon watched as Reya finally managed to back her way out of the Cell. The look of horror on her face told him that he had pushed her too far. He should have kept silent and let her leave him in peace to die. He had made a grievous error. He just hoped that what happened here today did not drive her further into the darkness.
He closed his eyes then, slipping into a meditative state. Calling upon the Force to help continue healing his body. The deeper into his meditation he could slip, the better. Hopefully he could convince Zariel that he had healed himself. It just remained to be seen whether Reya would admit to having been here or not

Thrune remained quiet for the moment, appreciating that the High Moff was worried about the other side as well. "There are many weaknesses, which most force users share, High Moff", she solely stated, "No matter if it is pride, arrogance or other beliefs, I will find out their weaknesses, if I have to. Those worthy to my training will be able to overcome them, if they succeed and don't disappoint me. All I need is time... but for the moment I feel confident enough to take down the Inquisitor, if I have to." Azrea secretly hoped at some point that she would be able to proof herself. The Lady Inquisitor was probably an ally, but one she gladly wanted to test, as fighting a force user, who was formerly in Palpatine's services would mark the peak of her training. Her own recruits already bored her, were predictable and shaping them into her successors neither fulfilled her with the same thrill as hunting down a force user in the name of the Empire. The Lady Inquisitor though... it would be a worthy prey, a preparation for a fight that would give her a thrill, a challenge. Just the thought of planning all the traps along the way, before attacking her opponent in a direct duel made her skin nearly shiver in excitement.
And yet, her role as a Guardsman held her back. There was no use in slaying an actual ally, if she kept to her word. Even if Azrea distrusted the Inquisitor and her minions, they were still Imperials, faithful servants to the fallen Emperor like herself. Time would tell if they could proof their faith and loyality towards the common cause or if they would turn out to be the same traitorous bunch, many warlords had before encountered along their way. Thus she got rid of her sadistic thoughts... for the moment.

"I pray we don't need to and that she remains and ally. Right now she's a valuable asset. But there is something wicked in her ways and force uses tend to like being at top of the food chain, so to speak. And I don't like being at the mercy of anyone. Anyone"
The moff looks at the guardswoman.
"This is but a contingency. You know I used to be director at the ISB, we were taught -and experience taught us as much- to cover every possibility and be prepared for anything. Schemes within schemes. That's something you yourself must understand, never be caught by surprise"

--The trip proved to be an anxious one as the Lambda-class Shuttle carried on through the swirling blue void of hyperspace. Had the man resting within the stateroom been able to set his gaze upon the realm, there was little doubt his disciplined mind would have lost some semblance of control. The summons by Admiral Saren was an unusual one, certainly not one he was expecting. The terms of it also had him a bit on edge. Instead of requesting that he arrived with his small fleet or even the ship he commanded, he was told to come by shuttle, that there would be no need for them. Sometimes, it was the smallest of details that set the scene and provided possible insight to the events that would soon unfold.
His track history with higher commands didn't paint the best of situations in his mind. When he fought for the now conquered Corporate Sector Authority against the Diarchy, he had commanded a small ship within a larger fleet. Needless to say, his specific tactics and approach to combat, especially when he pushed past his orders to attack the retreating and immobilized enemy was also followed with reprimands and threats of court-martial if he continued to attack in this manner. He served the CSA and the manner in which he fought reflected them and he, in their minds, was a disgrace that was sullying their image and reputation.
Yet, these things would come to haunt them when the Diarchy learned of the growing divide and sought to recruit him. Be given command of not a single ship, but a small fleet in which he was free to conduct himself as he saw fit against an enemy was more than enough incentive to switch sides. He could then take out his frustrations upon those that shunned him for his belief in the ways of war, which only solidified the agreement. It was the perfect opportunity to show everyone, including the CSA, what he could accomplish and the victories he'd bring.
However, the war with the CSA had been won with but a few pockets of resistance left. He had focused his attention there as the Diarchy grew and sought to conquer more. Being called now was a sign of changing times and seemed to point to his removal. The thought was a frustrating one as he felt that this new order saw him as a tool they could turn to their side, then dispose of when all was said and done. He kept reminding himself that this could very well not be what would transpire, yet history dictated his feelings since being summoned never proved to be a proud moment.--
--As the man continued to dwell upon his thoughts, the pilot disengaged the hyperdrive as the computer indicated they had reached their destination. The swirling void broke apart into streaks, like stars shooting by at rapid speed before fading completely to the regular starry void of real space. Before them lay the world of Bonadan where the Admiral sat in wait.
As the grew closer, the shuttle co-pilot activated the comm channel within the shuttle, alerting their passenger to their arrival.--
Sir, we have just dropped out of hyperspace and are beginning our approach to Bonadan now. We should be within visual range shortly.
--Standing to his feet, the man took a deep breath as he adjusted his uniform. The low hum of the ship's engines barely kept the sound of heavy steps from his boots hidden as he made his way into the cockpit. The crew kept going about their duties, not even turning to acknowledge him as they grew closer to the planet. Already the presence of multiple ships could be seen growing in size as they made their approach. Taking a final breath, he looked over to the co-pilot, his tightly contained ponytail brushing up to try and pass over his shoulder.--
"Open a channel. Let them know that we have arrived."
"Yes, sir."
--A channel was opened with the present ships, allowing the message to be received and transmitted to the proper control for orbital traffic.--
This is the shuttle Elanus requesting landing clearance. We have Lucius Vasili on board, reporting in for his summons from Admiral Saren.
--As they waited for the typical scans and response, Lucius stood just behind the pilots, hands behind his back as he stood at ease, his body tense, though only to those who had the eyes to see. Ever closer was the meeting approaching and his frustrations and anxiety over what would happen were near the boiling point. No matter what, though, he would remain calm and poised so to not create a worse scenario.--

This is the shuttle Elanus requesting landing clearance. We have Lucius Vasili on board, reporting in for his summons from Admiral Saren.
Task Force Hercules was undergoing some refitting alongside the construction of the newer Imperial warship models churned out by the military research for the Diarchy. Aboard his flagship, Admiral Saren oversaw the construction of three Cargador-class Carriers, a well armed vessel for its class. These were among the many overhauls and upgrades that the Diarchy was undergoing as old ships were retired and replaced with these newer models. Despite taking up some of the newer starfighters, the fleet of Vidarr had not changed. He liked his fleet. He'd only replace its models if they got destroyed. His attention was taken away from the shipyard as a communication came in. Vidarr turns to his second-in-command, Captain Cardas.Get the conference room ready. The command given as Cardas salutes and walks off. Admiral Saren keys a communication.Onyx Squadron, redeploy to escort our guest to my flagship.=Gil Berend= Right away, Admiral Saren.Onyx Squadron was commanded by his bastard son, Gil, and he had proven himself a good commander. They'd have the honor of escorting Lucius Vasili as a result. Sarens switches channels afterward.Shuttle Elanus, this is Admiral Saren. Onyx Squadron is redeploying to escort you to the Hercules. You will be taken to a conference room, Captain Vasili, upon your arrival. Saren out.The communication was ended after and the Admiral leaves the bridge to Maxir, the Dark Jedi that still served at his side.

--Time ticked on in silence, the hushed atmosphere of the cockpit only broken by the faint ticks of buttons and controls being manipulated. It was a maddening feeling as the anxiety built within Lucius as he awaited a response. He cursed inwardly those handling the scans and communications, condemning their inability to move more quickly, a simple excuse to help quell the thoughts that ran amuck in his mind.
What was barely more than a few minutes seemed like eons when the faintly static voice echoed within the room. He took in a slow, steady breath when the name filled his ears. Admiral Saren, himself, was addressing them. It wasn't left to the normal communications officer as he anticipated. However, he couldn't tell if it alleviated his anxiety or gave it a reason to rise further. Not that it truly mattered.
They waited for only a few moments more before they caught sight of Onyx Squadron. A single group of TIE Hunters made their approach before passing by to loop around for the escort. As the fighters formed up around the shuttle, the man allowed his gaze to shift for a moment to the fighters. Older models in comparison to some, yet capable and deadly in the right hands. They were more than enough to give any pilot pause when facing them down in combat. With the squadron in place, Lucius nodded to the pilot to follow them for their approach vector to the Hercules.--
"Bring us in."
--The closer they grew to the fleet, the more that Lucius was able to take in. Outside of the Victory III that served as Vidarr's flagship, he took notice of the construction of newer vessels, none in which he had come to know of yet. The small fleet he had been given charge of was made up of the older, well-known vessels used by the Galactic Empire. But that was before the Diarchy had obtained complete control and victory over the CSA. With it came the advancement of a new order and the technologies therein. Provided things went well with this meeting, he hoped for the chance to command at least a few of these new beasts of war.
In the blink of an eye, they had made it to the Hercules and slowed their pace as they began their entrance into the hangar. The darkness of space was suddenly washed away by the bright lights of the hangar, causing Lucius to squint as his eyes adjusted. Giving off a final breath, he turned from the cockpit and made his way to the boarding ramp. He felt the slight jolt of the landing and stood tall as the ramp lowered. Only once it had touched down completely did he make his departure. His escort stood just in front of the ship, patiently waiting to lead him to the admiral.
Standing tall as the captain approached, he gave a nod.--
"Welcome aboard the Hercules, Captain Vasili. The admiral is waiting for you. If you would follow me?"
--Lucius fell into step as the man turned and departed the hangar. It was his desire to have the chance to take in the ship since it was said to be quite the vessel, truly proving itself to be a stronger successor to its line. Yet, for now, he kept his eyes straight, not wishing to risk inciting any further anger while he was here. A few minutes of walking came as his only reprieve from more silence came from the sounds of troopers walking by, droids scurrying about, or the officers that spoke orders over the ship-wide comms. For that, he was thankful.
Finally, they reached the conference room where the meeting would be held. His escort entered first before stepping to the side to allow the captain to pass. Lucius then took those final steps forward before snapping to attention in the presence of the admiral. The time had now come to see what fate had in store for him--
"You summoned me, Admiral Saren?"

Lucius then took those final steps forward before snapping to attention in the presence of the admiral. The time had now come to see what fate had in store for him--
"You summoned me, Admiral Saren?" Admiral Saren wasn't alone however. There were several others present, senior commanders of the Diarchy that made up his staff. He had been given a greater authority, due to his pinnacle position within the reformation efforts of the military. There were a couple older person, followed by a middle-aged commander, and a few younger officers. They represented some of the finest minds of the Diarchy. Vidarr Saren sat at the end of the table, which was a sort of half moon shape with him, and his colleagues, sitting on the curved edge. Saren turns to an aide who hands him a datapad.Captain Lucius Vasili. Native of Orron III, a Ship Lieutenant within the naval arm of the Corporate Sector Authority. Followed under their flag for the first few years of war before defecting to Diarchy, after Atchorb, with the promotion to the rank of Captain.Saren pauses as he moves the screen to another page.Known for a more aggressive style of tactics and earned several commendations due to services in the field. Among them was the Battle of Kir and Fether, which helped secure half of the Authority Guardian Corridor. Was sent south, with a fleet, to blunt a counterattack at Issagra. Ignored orders and performed a flanking attack that ensured a third of the CSA's fleet could not escape. Then rounded south, with the fleet, to Ban-Satir and Gaurick before being pulled back to help with the attack on Bonadan.Saren tosses the datapad before him and onto the table. He glances at the man to his left, then at Vasili. The individual would certainly be a familiar face to the Captain as one of his former superiors. The one who had been his commander from Issagra to Gaurick through that part of the war.You remember Vice-Admiral Orum. You disobeyed his orders at Issagra. And yet, he was the one who wrote the commendation.A curt, but silent, nod came from Orum. At least they didn't have infighting like the Old Empire... yet that is. No one had shot another after all. The Imperial half expected himself pulling out a gun to shot Maxir, who ignored the living crap out of him daily. The breathing for the mask just sometimes got intolerable. Admiral Saren clicks his teeth slightly before looking at Vasili again. How do you like the Diarchy, Captain?

--Though the man's eyes never faltered from the admiral, Lucius worked to catch the images of the men within his peripheral vision. Such a meeting had not been within the captain's expectations and it only continued to work at the man's spirits. Clenching his fists at the tension, he was grateful they remained unnoticed as they rested behind his back, allowing his nearly stoic features. He could feel the pounding of his heart, yet he wouldn't let it show. If there was something he took pride in, it was his capability to hold strong and remain calm when under pressure.
As if the presence of the senior commanders wasn't enough, the list of his service record starting from his place within the CSA during their war with the Diarchy. He remembered the battles with such clarity, flashes of each playing out in his minds as they were laid out before them. Many a time had he disobeyed orders, pushing forward with brutal and aggressive tactics. He didn't let small particulars get in the way of accomplishing his duty, especially when he recognized an opportunity that needed to be exploited. He made no apologies and stood by his decisions as each came with victory and it was through victory that he advanced himself.
As the datapad hit the table before him, Lucius's eyes shifted to it before lifting to set their gaze upon the man that was mentioned. Indeed did the captain remember the vice-admiral. In the moment, none took well to being ignored and disobeyed. But it seemed that despite it all, he had made an impression. A commendation? This word caused Luciius's head to swiftly face forward again to look at the admiral, yet he stayed silent. Had his ears heard correctly?
Not wishing to push the bit of luck that existed before him, he focused upon the question presented to him.--
"I have become rather fond of it, sir. The manner in which it conducts itself is far superior to the CSA. Within its ranks, I feel as if I can achieve more without the sacrifice of my being for the sake of image."

"I have become rather fond of it, sir. The manner in which it conducts itself is far superior to the CSA. Within its ranks, I feel as if I can achieve more without the sacrifice of my being for the sake of image." A finger of the Admiral taps the grey, but polished, table. And yet, we emulate that which created the Corporate Sector Authority, Captain. By your word, it is to say that the Authority's society, since the days of Emperor Palpatine, have decayed and rotted. I believe an assessment that High Moff Torkan would agree with. The finger was removed from the table after speaking. Answers that were satisfactory as well as a career that had proven a worthy investment. However, such brutal and aggressive tactics were a double-edged sword. They did yield results from Captain Vasili though, so perhaps he had a bit of luck that helped him along. Still, the sun could set and the Diarchy's investment in Vasili would evaporate with the snap of a finger. For now, the investment had proven well enough. Admiral Saren turns to Vice-Amdiral Orum.Your vote was yes, am I correct?=Orum= Indeed, Admiral Saren. The Admiral nods and turns to the rest. The rest of you? There was a nay the ayes that followed, belonging to Vice-Admiral Cardar. Cardar was a more cautious commander within the Diarchy's fleets. Thus it was natural for him to be against this vote that seemed to involve Captain Vasili. Admiral Saren glances at Cardar, but doesn't say a thing. His eyes turn to Captain Vasili. How does the title and name... Rear-Admiral Vasili sound, Captain?Vidarr looks at the Captain with a smile.

—For a moment more, the words that followed seemed to create an air of uncertainty as to his fate. Had the mention commendation been in regards to something else? Were they ready to dismiss him here and now for his actions and occasion insubordination? His hands continued to tighten behind his back as his jaw became tense. It almost made the comment of Tarkin agreeing with the sentiment Lucius had. Though it was a compliment to carry views similarly to such a man, the current atmosphere did little in finding any relief.
It wasn’t until the final words reached his ears that time seemed to freeze. The tension felt throughout his body suddenly ceased as if a weight had been lifted from his being. For a moment or two, he stood in silence before lifting his head a couple inches, his mouth partly ever so slightly. Her pondered the question, or more accurately, the title being given to him.
For what seemed like an eternity in his mind, his mind found its grounding, well enough to give a response.—
"It sounds quite nice. To be granted such a rank is both a privilege and an honor, sir."

"It sounds quite nice. To be granted such a rank is both a privilege and an honor, sir." Admiral Saren nods to another Vice-Admiral, to his right, who begins putting in the accepted promotion, to Lucius Vasili, on a datapad. Another to the rank within the Admiralty. Granted, it was one step into the door, but it was still a step nonetheless. When you first joined us, you were told that the ladder would not be set against you. Doors will open to proven talent and loyalty.Saren states, recalling a talk with both the High Moff and the Lady Inquisitor, the Diarches themselves. You have proven your worth and your loyalty, Rear-Admiral. So you are given a promotion as a sign of trust from us and as a means of recognition for the services rendered to our Imperialist cause. As a result, you will be allowed to have a larger fleet. The Admiral gestures to the view port, in the conference room, which revealed the Bonadan shipyards. There were plenty of new ships being crafted and new starfighters being manufactured. The fulfilled promises of the First Order allowed for businesses to return to their investments in the former Corporate Sector and helped with the economy and military reform.Your first assignment will be under my command.Admiral Saren keys a holoprojector on the conference table. It came to reveal a section of Corporate Space, centered around the planet of Drog, at the juncture between the Etti Route Major and the Authority Guardian Corridor. We have begun operations to fully flush out your former masters, but they are keeping a strong line at Drog. If we can breakthrough, we can ensure they are trapped at Davirien behind them. as Kail, along the border, was captured just a couple of days ago.Admiral Saren turns his gaze away from the map to the Rear-Admiral Vasili. You will be granted ships, from what is available, to build your new fleet. We will be arriving as reinforcements to help breakthrough their defense and secure the world. Once it is done, we will move onto Davirien and end their resistance once and for all.

—Lucius’s eyes shifted ever so slightly to the Vice-Admiral after the nod, the promotion officially going through. The passing moments caused the previous tension to fade away. Yet, in its place, a new feeling began to replace it. It went beyond mere accomplishment, joy, and satisfaction, passing into the realm of smugness. However, as before, his features remained composed, not letting the inner workings of his mind become known.
Then compliment them came as a furthering reward was granted to him in the ability to command a larger fleet. The quality and quantity of vessels at his disposal could increase, making his ability to command and the tactics he employed that much more effective. As the viewport was motioned you, the man’s head turned to gaze out of it for a bit as his next assignment was revealed. Returning his attention once more to Saren, he gave a small bow of his head.—
"It will be quite the honor to serve under you, Admiral. I look forward to what we can accomplish together."
—He took the time to listen to the Admiral as he spoke on the task that laid before them. The war had been won but their were a few stranglers in the form of hold outs from those still loyal to the CSA. Noble, but foolish. A smart man knew when a cause was lost and when to surrender. Yet, not all possessed this wisdom and continued the fight when there was nothing they could do. He smirked inwardly as he thought of the pleasure it would bring him to bring these final remnants to their knees.—
"I’m certain this will be a simple task. The CSA has all but fallen, leaving these final pieces of resistance. It is but a fool’s game they play as they attempt to fight back. Whatever you wish for me to do, I will do so gladly."
—Finally moving from his spot, the newly appointed Rear-Admiral approach the viewport to gaze out at the ships that were being built. He had heard that new ships had been designed and were being crafted, a symbol of the new power that was the Diarchy. A faint smirk appeared before he looked back to the Admiralty.—
"What can you tell me about the ships that are available?"

"What can you tell me about the ships that are available?" Admiral Saren turns to an aide who hands him a datapad. It is slid across the table to the newly minted Rear-Admiral.We have a number of vessels available for the recent war. Imperial Star Destroyers, Victories, Lancers, and such. The datapad, granted to Vasili, had information of vessels available, their personnel files, and complements in full. A lot of ships were set to be decommissioned, in due time, but put into a pool of ships that were readily available to form new fleets to serve in the defense and offense of the Diarchy. In addition, there was a list of newly designed ships and starfighters, created from the minds of the reformed Military Research. Admiral Saren kept his fleet the way it was, for now. Task Force Hercules had worked well with the ships it was made up of. However, if a ship was lost, Saren was willing to try some of the newer warships. The Imperial remains quiet, for a moment, allowing Vasili to examine the list of various classes available for the formation of his new fleet. The Lady Inquisitor personally enjoys the Arripio-class. The High Moff, seems to favor the Imperial III-class, the first of its kind to grace the Diarchy's Navy. His task force also includes several of the newer Golpeador-classes. The TIE/Dominator, Conquisitador, Flecha, and Fortaleza have begun to appear in starfighter complements, although I personally still favor the TIE Hunters and Automated TIEs.Saren explains what was favored among the navy. The Military Research division had done quite the work for updating the navy in order to ensure it could compete with competition in the area. The Admiral then gestures to Bonadan Shipyards, the main vein of the naval organ of the Diarchy.Do what you need to do in terms of building your navy. When it is ready, we will depart to reinforce the frontline.

—The Rear-Admiral remained where he stood at the window, his focused intently up Saren as he spoke. The list began with the well known ships that belonged to both the Diarchy as well as that which was taken from the CSA. Impressive ships that had many times proved their mettle in combat, each model withstanding the test of time. All of them made fine vessel for any naval officer.
Yet, despite the effectiveness and proven capabilities, perhaps it was time to leave the past behind and look to the future. The Victory III in which he now stood was one such vessel. It even it had served some time, finding its existence sometime during the war. No doubt a capable vessel of the Admiral himself elected to utilize one as his flagship. Finally stepping away from the viewport, he took up the datapad as more ships were mentioned, ones that found favor with the current Diarchs. It was there that his mind found interest, ships in which he had only heard of now or in rumors. Ships built by the Diarchy to serve its needs. Perhaps he would find something of interest within the newest ships. It would be the perfect time to let the past die as he sought a new future within this mighty new empire.
Setting his gaze over the list, he would definitely see time to fully flesh out that which he wanted for his new fleet. Care preparation was critical as what he chose would be a reflection of him, something he wanted all to remember. First came the lists of those that came before. The old Imperials, Victories, and other ships utilized by the old Galactic Empire filled up a small portion, each with a date that called for its decommissioning provided none opted to use it. Then came what he was most curious about: the newly crafted vessels of the Diarchy. The ships mentioned by to be used by the High Moff certainly looked promising.
Allowing himself a few moments to quickly glance over the list, Lucius nodded before looking back to the Admiral.—
"The ships crafted by the minds of the Diarchy are quite impressive. Certainly a step forward from the ships of old. For as capable as the models utilized by the Galactic Empire were, these must assuredly be the pinnacle of innovation. I’m quite curious about a few, such as the Cazador and the Golpeador. I’ll examine the list in further detail and get my request over to the shipyards. No time to waste, correct?"
—Lucius stood ready as he spoke, his posture tall as he awaited any final orders. He was curious if the ships he mentioned would catch the attention of the Admiralty to the type of fleet he sought to craft.—

He was curious if the ships he mentioned would catch the attention of the Admiralty to the type of fleet he sought to craft.— The attention of the Admiral turns to Vasili. The Military Research division has done wonders indeed. With the trade open, along the Hydian Way, and goods are flowing in from the territories of the First Order, and companies returning to reinvest their capital as before with the CSA, plenty of materials are enabling the Diarchy to research and develop newer models of vessels and starfighters.Saren explains, recalling the reports of recent. With the civil war, for control of Corporate Space, mostly concluded and what remained as opposition was faltering and dwindling fast, the Diarchy could once more exploit the connections and planets left by the Authority. Torkan's cousin had went Coreward and secured the return of various companies that had invested in the CSA before the strife occurred. In addition, Imperial goods flowed up the Hydian Way, through Taris, and, with Telos IV to be secured soon, into the heartland of the Diarchy. All of these would add up, over time, and ensure a strong foundation. Admiral Saren glances behind him as his second, Captain Val Cardas, walked in. His aide spoke quietly in his ear as Vidarr nods his head affirmatively. He turns his gaze back to Vasili.Utilize the shipyards of Bonadan to build yourself a fleet, Rear-Admiral. I must cut our conversation short, unfortunately, as more naval business must be done. If anything is needed, I will be in the system for now, given my status as overseer of the naval reformation.

--Lucius listened as the Admiral spoke, his eyes locked upon the man. In truth, he didn't care how it was done, only that the means for the Diarchy to grow were made available. Whether trade routes and alliances were made or they conquered and took from their enemies, the means mattered not. It was the end and the results that were gained that would be remembered. Whatever it took to acquire the Diarchy's greatness, he would do without hesitation.
With the final order given to use the shipyards and get his fleet together, the Rea-Admiral gave a small nod before snapping to attention and giving a salute. He remained there for but a second before turning and making his return trip to the shuttle. Eagerness ran through his veins as he moved at a quick pace. The fleet he crafted would be feared and respected, a symbol of the order's strength and power. That was what he wanted to be remembered for: the final judgment of those who stood against the Diarchy.
Boarding the ship, he gave the orders to the crew of the destination which was nothing but a hop and skip away. As they began to power up the ship, Lucius took a seat within the stateroom and began looking over the vessels in the datapad. For the moment, he focused his attention on that which was newly crafted by the Diarchy and that which had been gathered that was new to the galaxy. A few ships were quickly removed from the list as they didn't hold the power he desired or focused on a task that he had no care for. This narrowed down his search quickly. Even more was the larger ships used by the Diarchy. Powerful, yes, but slower and less maneuverable. Ultimately, what remained was perfect. The Victory III was certainly a powerful ship on its own, but he opted for the Cargador's and their carrying capacity. Not as strong in comparison, but still very capable and embraced the old mindset of the Rebel Alliance, something that actually was a thorn in the Galactic Empire's side. Using powerful fighters would be far more effective for up-close attacks.
By the time they landed, the list had been formed. Though he chose not to utilize the interdictor craft created by the Diarchy, he noticed an acquired version that was stronger and capable of carrying quite a few fighters. Departing the shuttle, he was met by a representative.--
"Welcome to the Bonadan Shipyards. We have been made aware of your promotion and have been awaiting your arrival to begin crafting your desired fleet. If you would follow m, please?"
--Lucius gave a nod as they moved further into the facility. A few minutes of silence filled the halls around them before the representative spoke once again.--
"Congratulations are in order for your rise to Rear-Admiral. An honor to be sure. We hope that our available ships can serve you well in service to the Diarchy. Will you need to view our ships or do you have an idea as to what you are looking for?"
--The Rear-Admiral lifted the datapad and handed it over to the man.--
"Admiral Saren has provided me with a list of what was available. Quite an impressive list, to be sure. I'm looking forward to seeing them in action. This datapad will inform you of what I desire."
--Taking the datapad, the man began to review the selected ships and fighter complements. Swiping through each of the pages, he nodded.--
"Well, you are certainly a man who knows what he wants. With these ships, you will be quite the force of power for this empire. We have a few of them ready to go while a few others are currently being built and near completion. I will say that none will need a full build time, which should get you prepped and in action soon. With that settled, I will show you to our guest chambers where you can stay until the fleet is ready."
--Giving a nod, Lucius followed the man as their path changed, no longer needing to head to an office, but to the guest quarters. It was a short walk but before long they arrived and the man left Lucius to his thoughts. With everything sorted, all that was left now was to sort out the names of the fleet and his ships.--
