A deep voice came over the ships sound system. This was one of the ways in which he deterred attackers. The sound came from all around the droids, putting their sensors on high alert. True, it was a psychological tactic that worked better in humans, but it didn’t particularly matter.“Surrender... why would I when I hold all the cards...” TAURUS then laughed before the speaker system resonated it around the Skytroopers and then vanished. At the same time, he dislodged a single proton torpedo from the rack of them against the wall. It had been done so in such a way that it rolled up and knocked into one of the Skytroopers. Knowing their programming, they would most likely fire upon the torpedo, destroying those near to it. Eternal Empire Territory - Northern Border. On board the Renegade, Captain Pax continued to monitor the situation. Odd power fluctuations throughout the Lucrehulk-Class Battleship. Knowing this could potentially be the prelude to a trap, he issued his orders."Power up all port-side ion cannons and ready the tractor beams. Be ready to fire on my mark!"As his orders were carried out, Calus Varkan, Commander of the ship's Exarch complement had arrived."Captain. You summoned me?"Turning to the cybernetically augmented Knight before him, Pax nodded."I did, Commander. Our boarding party is undoubtedly run into trouble. Gather a team and insert on the other side of the ship. We'll keep you covered from here."Inclining his head in acknowledgement, Varkan replied."By the will of the Throne. It shall be done."Leaving Pax on the bridge, Calus went to carry out his orders.Meanwhile...Skytrooper designated 2401, heard the response and replied once more. The will of the Throne is clear. Surrender or be destroyed. No sooner had the Skytrooper spoken, the rear of the group took note of the loose proton torpedo. Weapons leveled, they watched it as it rolled and finally bumped into the legs of one of the troopers. While most average battle droids would have fired upon it at this point, the Skytroopers were far from average. While they were unable to deviate from their set programming parameters, they also were capable of some small degree of adaptation on the battlefield, giving them the edge over traditional battle droids. ST-2401 bent over to retrieve the torpedo. This is an unacceptable response to our demands...prepare for the engagement of hostilities if you do not desist from your current course of action. At this point, it was more of an unintentional delaying tactic than anything else. But it would give time for Commander Varkan to get on board... East Hangar Module: While the Skytroopers we’re being led around in circles in the West Hangar, hasf the vulture droids aboard the ship activated and launched from the ship. They could not allow the living to board the ship, otherwise the entire plan would be ruined. They began to attack the Renegade, swarming all around it like a large number of bees. However, they did not fire in amounts that could destroy the vessel, as the Renegade had to survive for their plan to succeed. It was mostly a diversionary tactic than an actual attack.West Hangar: As the Skytroopers prepared to attack, the haunting voice returned over the ship’s intercom.“Very well... I am in the next room. Let us see what arrangement we can come to...”

Following it's master's orders the HK unit sprinted down the corridor towards the terminal. Hk-99 could hear its master fighting inferior droids. Once at the terminal, HK plugged itself in and began to download updated map data as its was outdated. Once HK acquired the updated map data, it unplugged and headed back towards its master. As the HK unit was in firing range it targeted the remaining Skytroopers' head and proceeded to fire a single shot for each droid. Once its radar indicated that all hostile droids were eliminated it walked slowly towards its master. Observation: Those droids were of inferior design. Statement: I have the updated map data, master. Observation: It would appear that they are several dozen more corridors than previous map data indicated. HK-99 displayed the updated map data that it acquired from the terminal, just down the corridor.Statement: We should hurry to the Control room Master, as my radar indicates that several patrols of Skytroopers are inbound to own location, as well as a large enemy signature that I have no data on. Observing the droid's combat proficiency first hand, Xander was rather impressed. The droid was the optimal killing machine. With a slight smirk, Xander replied to the droid, upon extinguishing his blades."Get us there. ARIES means to provide the ultimate test of worthiness, in which I intend to steal the Eternal Fleet from him through deception. I am the rightful power upon the Eternal Throne. Command of the Fleet is mine, to be used as I see fit. ARIES is unworthy of wielding that sort of power..."The white armored Zabrak looked up at the droid."ARIES' Skytrooper hordes gather while we wait. Lead on."Xander disliked allowing the droid to take point, but if the droid was truthful in claiming Xander as its new master, then he had nothing to worry about. Loyalty programmed to a fault in these droids, which would be beneficial to him, provided the droid wasn't lying to simply escape Iokath...either way, he imagined he'd learn the droid's true motives soon enough...

The HK until obey it's master's command and proceed to lead them both down the corridor towards the control room. While heading down the corridor HK-99 quickly dispatched several Skytroopers with precision headshots as they rounded the corner. Once they were a hundred yards away HK halted and motioned for his master to also stop.
Observation: It would appear that the large enemy is now between us and the control room. Query: Shall we proceed, Master?
The HK unit waited for a reply from its master, with its rifle drawn and aimed down the corridor.

Clenching his jaw in anger, he ignited both forward facing blades on his forearms."I grow weary of these games, ARIES!" the Zabrak shouted loudly. "Time to go on the offensive, HK..."Breaking out into a sprint, Xander gathered the Force around him and tensed up. Just as he was about to round the corner, he vaulted himself up into the air, as high as he could manage, aided by the Force...unfortunately, once he was in view of the new enemy, he realized his mistake...A Colossus Droid was ready and waiting. Towering several dozen meters above the ground, Xander inwardly cursed at himself as he knew exactly what was going to happen next. A massive, metal arm swung out and batted him out of the air. Dazed, the Emperor hit the ground and rolled to a stop. Picking himself up, now seething with anger, Xander roared at the droid. Re-igniting his forward facing blades, the Sith launched himself at the droid once more, this time, anticipating the massive droid's swipe. Landing on it's arm, Xander shoved both of his forward facing blades into the metal plating, peeling it away. As he exposed the large servos that powered the machine's arm, the other arm swiped past, flicking him off like a bug. Landing heavily on the ground, sabers once again extinguished, the Sith rose to his feet. Panting and sweating, he remained behind cover for the time being, hoping HK would be able to locate him so they could plan their next move...

The HK unit followed it's new master around the corner, only for it to see a Colossus Droid swing its massive metal arm and hit its master. The HK unit began to open fire at the massive droid, deep within its processor unit HK-99 knew that its blaster rifle was a waste of ammo and time. However with no other option the HK unit continued to fire at the droid. The Colossus Droid stomped the ground and sent HK-99 flying backwards. As it stood backup parts of him sparked.
Observation: It appears that I have suffered some damage Master. Statement: It would wise if we made a Tactical retreat, Master.
HK-99 picked up his blaster rifle and began to fire upon the Colossus Droid again waiting for its Master to give Orders.

Ever since the Zabrak's arrival to Iokath, ZODIAC had been following his progress. Watching as this newly proclaimed Eternal Emperor was tested by ARIES. But nothing seemed to phase the new Emperor, the man even managing to stumble upon an old HK unit. It wasn't until ARIES brought out a Colossus Droid, that things really took a turn for the worst. While he had avoided direct conflict with ARIES in the past, his internal processors and calculations indicated that such a conclusion was becoming more and more likelyThis really will not do. ARIES has gone too far now...Thanks to some upgrades he had managed to implement, ZODIAC disappeared into almost thin air. Blinking out of existence for a moment, before appearing a few moments later in front of Xander. Quickly raising his personal shield in case the Zabrak decided to shoot first and ask questions later. He waited a moment to see if the man would strike him or not, before addressing the EmperorGreetings Emperor Savage... Please hold still a moment...He ran a quick series of equations, calculating their current position and their destination. Inputting the information into the transportation matrix, targeting Xander, HK-77, and himself. The trio disappeared into thin air.
A moment later, they were all deposited onto the ground halfway around the globe from where the control center was located. ZODIAC happily floated around in the air, undisturbed by the whole experience. Though Xander and HK-99 were certain to feel a little off put by the whole affair. While he didn't fully understand the specifics of how the teleportation grid worked, he suspected it was a less than comfortable experience for organics. After all, the whole thing had been designed for use by droids to move around the city.
He hung in the air for a moment, looking across the chasm toward a large bulbous like building which he'd thus far been unable to access. Even ARIES own droids would not go near the place, most likely due to their programming. The one thing that ZODIAC knew about the place though, was that it contained the control mechanism that would free his home. He spun around in the air and flew up to XanderOh what a wonderful day! It has been many years since an Eternal Emperor has been to Iokath... But where are my manners... I am ZODIAC, monitor of Star Fortress One Three Three Seven... I do hope you were undamaged by that teleportation...

One moment he had been preparing to make another move against the Colossus Droid, the next he had feel an odd tugging sensation in his stomach and he was standing somewhere completely different. Still part of the construct that was Iokath, but no where he recognized. The last thing he remembered was seeing a floating, glowing eye appear before him, then he was here. Extinguishing his forward facing sabers, the black and blue tattooed Zabrak regained his bearings and studied the shiny golden glowing eyeball curiously for a moment.
"You know who I am?" he asked, with a hint of curiosity in his voice.
He had been unaware of any other intelligences on Iokath aside from ARIES and GEMINI. Clearly there was. A lot more. Still eyeing the floating golden eye, Xander answered the question the orb had posed.
"Aside from some nausea and a slight ringing in my ears, I am otherwise unharmed by your teleportation process..."
Physically he was more or less unscathed. A little battered and bruised now, thanks to the Colossus though. Mentally, he was beginning to grow weary, but that was to be expected. Since his resurrection on Rhommamool, he really hadn't fully tested the physical and mental capabilities of the cloned body he now resided in. Cosmetically, he was a mess. His once pearlescent white armor was banged and scuffed up. Soot and dirt streaked it in places, and a few glancing shots left some carbon scoring. All in all, however, he was no worse for wear. But the reveal of this ZODIAC was interesting. And being the monitor of one of the Star Fortresses was quite appealing. Perhaps it could direct him to the Eternal Fleet? But for now, they were given a reprieve from ARIES' onslaught. And he was grateful for that.

The HK unit was unharmed by the teleportation as it was a droid and not a meatbag. HK-99 began to make a few small repairs to itself as it's Master and the Golden floating ball spoke. Once finished the HK unit looked for a nearby terminal, so that it may gather data on their location and on ways to defeat or disable the Colossus droid that was guarding the control room.

If ZODIAC had the ability to convey facial expressions, he would have given Xander one of confusion. Instead, he tilted his entire form to the side slightly. Taking a moment to figure out how best to answer the Emperor's question I have been watching you since you arrived... ARIES was most unimpressed by your arrival... He returned to a straighter position then, as Xander confirmed that he was in good health despite being teleported. That was good news, because it meant the man would still be ready and able to complete the one task that was required of him. ZODIAC watched as the HK unit ventured off, no doubt either to find something new to destroy or information to extract. All the while, his attention remaining on Xander for all intents and purposes Most joyous news! Then we can proceed with the work at hand... You seek a way to defeat ARIES and find the Eternal Fleet, correct? Well, what if I told you I had a way to do both? All that I require of you, is one favour...

Observing the floating golden orb, Xander raised an eyebrow quizzically.
"You are incredibly well informed, little light. You are correct. ARIES needs to be stopped, or at the very least slowed down until I locate the Eternal Fleet. Given that is a monumental task, considering this is ARIES' world, I imagine it will be rather difficult to succeed. As for this favour you seek...if you speak truly, I am willing to assist you. Speak lies and spin falses, however, and I will reduce you to your base components, little light..."
Turning to the HK unit near-by, he spoke.
"Ninety-Nine, are you up for getting your hands dirty?"
Knowing full well that the droid was alway ready to throw down, it was mostly a rhetorical question, but the Zabrak Emperor was curious as to whether or not that the droid would be so eager to jump back into the fray so quickly after their encounter with the Colossus droid.

The HK unit walk back towards it's master and answered the question that the master posed.
Answer: I am, Master.
HK-99 pulled its blaster from behind its back primed it, indicating that it was ready for whatever came its way.

ZODIAC floated idly in the air as Xander gave his little speech about the need to stop ARIES. Truly the creators shined upon him as Xander agreed to help with his favour Praise the makers! I assure you, I could never speak a falsehood to the Immortal Emperor... As for my favour... ZODIAC turned around then, and looked toward the giant building that rose in the distance Within the confines of that compound lay the controls to the tractor system that is holding my Star Fortress hostage within orbit of this world. Unfortunately, I am unable to teleport us inside and activate the controls. Only an organic being is able to activate the locks and work the controls... Which is where you come in! You can activate the release mechanism, free of any harassment by ARIES, as even he cannot reach this place! He turned back to face Xander then, to see how the Emperor would respond I shall follow you, as you lead the way!

Location: Kalee, Wild Space.* *Absemi, Jenuwaa SeaUpon the island monolith of Abesmi, Xel-Tun Lessh knelt before the carved statue of the ancient god. He worshiped Abesmi, so much so that he took on the appearance of the fabled god. Devout in his beliefs, the Kaleesh was certain of his path. Carry out Abesmi's will and slay the enemies of his people. Another belief he was absolutely devout in was that of hunting down Jedi and Sith alike. Seen as a blight upon his beliefs as a Dark Jedi, the Kaleesh warrior followed in the footsteps of Qymaen jai Sheelal. Having studied Sheelal's tactics, fighting style and even his mannerisms, the Kaleesh knew he would never amount to what Sheelal became, the dreaded cyborg Separatist General, Grievous. But he knew he could come close. Allowing the Force to simply flow around him, the Kaleesh warrior continued to meditate and pray to the gods above. Soon his time to act would come.

Something was rather suspicious about this orb's task, but if it meant steering clear of ARIES and his Skytroopers, it couldn't be all that bad. Glancing from the orb to HK, Xander spoke."A direct approach would be most beneficial, I think. Despite ARIES' interference until I am inside, it is the most optimal strategy. The sooner we can grant you control of your Star Fortress, the sooner I find what I seek..."With a smirk, the Zabrak motioned to HK, indicating him to follow."Orb! Give me the most direct route there. HK, you are tasked with protecting this...eyeball...no harm shall befall it, understood?"Rolling his shoulders back and cracking his neck, Xander prepared himself for what was to come.

The HK unit looked back between his master and the 'eyeball'.
Statement: I understand, Master.
HK-99 readied his weapon and prepared to move out on his Master's command.

ZODIAC pulled up a map of the surrounding area, before quickly calculating a path from the ledge they were on, down into the valley below, and across the plains, straight to the buildings outer wall where the main entrance lay. Once that information was processed, he projected a hologram of the proposed path for the Emperor to see Per my calculations, this is the most direct approach. It will still take us several minutes to cover the ground, but there should be minimal interference on ARIES' part... Once enough time had passed for the Emperor to study the map, he floated around behind the HK unit Ah, the venerable HK unit... Red is a rather distinct coloration. I am most certain you will prove vital in my protection!

Kalee, Wild Space.Having finished his meditations and prayers to Absemi, Xel-Tun made his way to his Prey-Bird starfighter sitting on the beachhead. The Gods were directing him to the Inner Rim. Ambria to be exact. That was the name of the planet he had managed to decipher. Climbing aboard his ship, he sealed the canopy and powered up the vessel. Engaging the repulsors, the fighter lifted off the sandy beach. Once high enough, Xel-Tun accelerated, arcing the ship up as he did so. Several moments later, he was breaking atmosphere and entering Kalee's orbit. Continuing on, away from the planet, the Kaleesh punching in the coordinates to Ambria and the fighter shot into hyperspace...

The fastest way to get where they needed to be was down. And right now, HK wasn't equipped to fly. So, it was up to the Zabrak to ensure he reached the bottom in one piece..."It would seem as though this is the only way..."Before saying anymore, the Zabrak closed his eyes, extended his right hand out and hoisted the droid off the ground. If the droid did protest to what was going on, he didn't hear anything. In one swift motion, the Zabrak swung his arm over to the ledge, and opened his closed fist, releasing the droid from his grip, temporarily. Opening his eyes again, to see the golden orb still hovering there, Xander took several steps backwards, then pushed off the ledge, entering a free fall...

The floating orb designated as ZODIAC floated around the HK unit, the HK unit looked at the around trying to analyze the situation and provide the best possible solution to the situation. When the Hk unit started to be lifted off the ground, the droid look around and found it's master.
Query: Master what are you doing? Observational Statement: This Unit is not designed for aerial combat. Statement: Master, I suggest that putting me back on the ground would be the most wise move.
After a brief moment of trying to change it's master's mind the HK unit looked down and saw that he was over a ledge with nothing below him, at least nothing that his optic sensors could see at his current height.
Annoyed statement: Damn it, Master, I am an assassination droid, not a combat drone.
And before he could say anything else the HK unit began to fall.

ZODIAC did nothing but watch as Xander lifted HK-99 with the Force, before promptly dropping the assassination droid off the edge of the cliff. He then watched as the new Eternal Emperor then followed the HK unit off the cliff Oh dear... ZODIAC flew through the air and down the cliffside, unable to do anything but watch as the HK unit fell towards the ground. If worse came to worse, he could try teleporting the assassination droid back to the top of the cliff. For now, he dropped through the air, waiting to see what would happen next
