Posted, and I think I just made a personal record for longest post thus far. :S
It just...took control of me. I couldn't stop myself even if I tried.

Was the vision of the past or of the future? Or a bit of both? That as probably my guess. Devlin doesn't show it but he's always been upset since he lost his team. I'm guessing the severed hand was his, and the bones were that of his team? The weapon is probably his 434, which he is going to go to jail for.
Am I close?

Working on a post now, should have it up later tonight. However my activity will be sporadic for a while; dealing with router issues. MIRAS: No Rush Miras - I've had to deal with router issues my self. Take your time. I'm not going anywhere, and Vandelhelm isn't by the looks of it. MIRIAN: Great post! Not too long at all, highly enjoyed it. Especially liked the vision bit - Dante in the desert picked up a disturbance in the force because of it, and is now under the impression the order has come to harass him. Which, isn't quite far from the truth actually.

That's what I call paranoid, Dante. Chicken Little paranoid. "I feel a disturbance in the Force.....The Jedi are coming! The Jedi are coming!" Sorry. Just thought it was funny.

>_< It's funny because it's not far from the mark. Just wait till the wayward padawan shows up - I don't know how I'm going to write THAT going down.

After Mirian's next post, if you don't mind waiting just one more post? If not, go for it.

I'll be getting posts up in a bit. But I can't do it right away. In a few hours time, probably. If that's okay with everyone. I'll also respond to all queries as well. Right now, I need to hunt down some caffeine, some celery sticks, and some pork chops.

Right now, I need to hunt down some caffeine, some celery sticks, and some pork chops. Dazbog falls from the sky and hits the bottom of the thread, creating a crater. He pops his head out and looks around, confused.I was summoned?
>.> <.<
Gives everyone a mug and creates a Coffee Bar in the thread.
My work here is done.Dazbog gets into his giant Coffee Bean and flies off.

Actually I was thinking ahead, in the future, where you get arrested by Simon Monroe. Hence why I mentioned metal restraints, as in handcuffs. But it never occured to me, despite my reading your profile, that all that I mentioned could have been in referrence to such events from your past as well. This is what I like about visions; everyone can interpret it differently. For me, I was taking the severed hand for multiple symbolisms: Incapacitation, destruction, failure, loss, handicaps. The skull and crossbones could be piracy, death, fear and again, loss. Right on the 434 though. MIRIAN: Great post! Not too long at all, highly enjoyed it. Okay, like, I literally spent hours thinking on this, and how best to move things along, not that I'm bored talking with you, Devlin. I really do enjoy the interaction between our characters, and I think more conversations would make a more realistic development of the characters. But in any case, since Simon's (I suspect) bursting to bust you, Devlin, I just left Mirian's last sentence deliberately incomplete for dramatic purposes. Simon, if you'd like to capitalize, you can like, interrupt and finish her sentence for her. After all, we don't want to leave Abby Sciuto waiting for the chance to study those mechanical arms of yours. Well, after this, I'm going to be free-floating for a while. Dante, want to find Mirian unknowingly wreaking havoc upon Rimma City? or Simon, care to take up an NCIS investigation? Maybe Mirian can learn more about why Devlin was arrested, and that would help forward things in the development between her and Devlin, as well as give Simon a chance to meet Mirian.

Atia: 14 will probably be waiting for a while... Devlin's at a high class restaurant uptown and about to get arrested. If you want though, I'm sure Devlin or I could NPC the bartender giving her a tip of some kind as to where he might be. For adequate compensation, of course. Or once he's arrested Sykes (my boss) could get the memo and send it to Patrick (his boss).
Mirian: Her name is Finch. Totally not Abby Sciuto... >_>

I know, but she reminded me of Abby Sciuto. I take it not much of an NCIS fan?

Oh no, I love NCIS. I just hadn't made the connection until you mentioned it. But I guess that does make Monroe Gibbs, and Detective Rookie is McGee. Now I just need a Ziva and a Tony.

Oh yes! Or Ellie Bishop, she's quite good too. And Ducky, and Palmer. Can't do without them. Awesome post, by the way.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of the newer episodes with Ellie. I need to catch up sometime. And yes, can't forget about Ducky and Palmer. Ducky especially though. His kind of character would be fun to write. The question is, what species do I make him? I don't think I'll be turning this into an NCIS RP though. Monroe is going to stay my central character, and the others will come into play as needed. Don't want to get too bogged down in NPC's, after all. That'd kill my writing. And thank you. I very much enjoy your posts as well.

Ok. Devlin would best know what he did and didn't tell the bartender about himself, so we'll have to wait for him to get on and decide how accurate the tip can be. The bartender might know about the restaurant, but he wouldn't know about the arrest. You may end up playing catch up for a bit, connecting the dots from one last known location to another until you finally make it to the station.
