Sidara sat back and watched Mereel with the women as she smoked her cigarette. She felt a tug at her heart remembering how Corr was when they were younger. He was so full of life and such a flirt with the ladies. He fancied himself smooth, but Sidara knew the truth. She fell in love with him because of his quality and personality, not the pick up lines and jokes.
Sid squinted her eyes at him and snubbed her cigarette out. She nodded toward Mereel.
Vod, you alright? I think maybe the tihaar has swayed your thoughts a little. Maybe a little more food before we refill your cup?
Sidara looked at the two females he was talking to.
Don't you ladies agree? We should enjoy all that the Ordo's have to offer, especially the delicious food they put in front of us.

Tireya smiled at Sidara when she spoke, poking fun at Mereel. There was certainly truth inwhat she had said and though Sidara had not been speaking to her, Tireya considered her words for herself. She'd already started on a fourth filling of the fiery beverage and she was really starting to feel its effects. She still had motor function and even her speech didn't carry a slur, but reactions and thoughts were beginning to grow more and more sluggish. "That's right Sid!He better watch out or . . . " The words she'd intended to say escaped her leaving her statement open ended and unfinished.
Meanwhile, Sammael shot a leery glare toward Mereel as he'd poked fun at his state of not being too sociable. Still, he didn't speak though and took to swallowing down the rest of the contents from within his cup before refilling it.

Tion'jor balban..." {{Why indeed...}}
Mereel spoke with a leer across the table at Tireya, an expression that quickly faded into an amused smile to indicate he was having merry with the whole conversation. His face grew wary then still while Sammael fired a glance his way, dissolving once again into a comical look of mirth.
He was acting the fool, exaggerating his inebriation, in order to take a back seat here where it came to guiding the conversation forward. He had to allow Sid to blaze her own path and not become her crutch in matters of leadership. If that required he minimise his own role in things then that was what he had to do. If getting smashed and enjoying himself were side-effects of such a path then it was a cross he was willing to bear...
With clearly defined movements he picked up another drumstick and bit savagely into the flesh, nodding towards Sidara to show he had taken her words to heart. The near complete demolishment of his plate would soon follow and he lapsed into silence for a while as he saw to its completion.

*Take her home? There was no chance of that happening.* "Nu draar!" *she exclaimed with a slur.* "Ner kar'ta ne'ba'slanar bat Ordo!"1
*Sidara then spoke up, suggesting that Mereel ate more food before drinking more tihaar, asking if the "ladies"—including Ka'ra herself—agreed. Tireya seemed to, trailing off before she could finish her sentence. Mereel seemed to agree as well. Ka'ra, however, only reached shakily for the nearest bottle.* "Kaysh, elek, ni linibar bic!"2 *she declared, filling her glass once more till it nearly overflowed.
She didn't make it halfway through the glass before she passed out against Mereel.*
1No way! My heart remains on Ordo! 2Him, yes, I need it!"

As the life of the party began to die down, having been in motion for a few hours now, Cathaoir leaned over to Tireya. "Haa'tayli venjii Ka'ra gedet'ye. Ni ru'kel ne haa'tayli kaysh ures baati ibic ca."1 She responded simply with a smile and nod before turning to look on Ka'ra as she returned to a conversation she had taken to having with her old man, Sammael.
Cathaoir then stood and nodded to Sidara and spoke a simple farewell. "Ibic cuyi vaii ni kelir'hiibi ner ba'slana. Meh gar ru'ki liniba ni chaashya, gar liniba shi tioni solus be ner aliit ra gar lise olaro ti meh gar jatne emuuri."2 He would allow for a response from Sidara before he would turn and leave, heading for his office in the Citadel's command center. The news that she had brought him had not boded well and have even taken some of his appetite from him and even that could be evidenced by the food that remained on his plate as he would depart.
No! Corr was not dead. There simply was no way and this hunch he had was really starting to bug him. Maybe it was simply his denial of the matter or his supernatural hunch, or both, but it simply wouldn't let this matter rest at what he had been told.

Sidara stood also, grabbing her drink and her pack of cigarettes, tucking them in the side pocket of her pants. She slid her helmet across the table and pulled that up under her arm. Corr used to chastise her constantly for not wearing, now she never leaves anywhere without it.
I thank you for your hospitality, she responded. If it makes no difference to you, I think I will go back to my quarters and freshen up. I need to take care of a few things and then I will find you.
Sidara smiled at him and looked at Mereel. She raised her eyebrow at him as if to tell him to conduct himself as a gentleman after she left. She nodded to everyone at the table. "If you all will excuse me, I have a few matters to attend to. Cathaoir, I will catch up to you shortly."

With a tender look that was so at odds with his rugged features Mereel sat back slightly and allowed Ka'ra to lean against his shoulder in a more comfortable pose. Nodding his head as Sidara and Cathaoir rose he reached forward with his free hand and drained his drink in one smooth motion. Setting the empty glass back down he turned into Ka'ra and scooped her up in his arms as he too rose to his feet, his motion gentle and tender.
He paused a moment to look down at the sleeping child with a rather wistful expression colouring his eyes, head tilted to the left slightly. Finally he looked up and flushed slightly, a wary defensive look frowning over him as he glanced at Tireya then at Sammael.
"Me'ven?"
He shrugged languidly, the motion lifting Ka'ra up and down slightly as he cradled her. Tireya's amused roll of the eyes was a nice counterpoint to Sammaels impassive wall of a face, drawing a slight smile from Mereel as he moved to follow then out of the hall and through the citadel/ The child in his arms mumbled softly as she slept on in unconscious inebriation, the swaying motion of his gait keeping her in deep slumber. Despite her size his arms were aching when they finally reached her room, him gratefully depositing her on her bunk. With a tender gesture he brushed stray hair away from her forehead and smiled down at her sleeping form.
"Nuhoyir priusti, adiik..."
He smiled as he straightened, back to the door where Sammael and Tireya stood.
"She'll regret drinking in the morning..."
He turned with the smile still in place, fully intending to continue his pursuit of Tireya, only to end up face to face with Sammaels grim mug. Tireya was nowhere to be seen having made her escape while he was distracted by putting Ka'ra. So... playing hard to get neh? His surprise flew from his face to be replaced by a confident and somewhat amused grin as he stepped gingerly around the scowling warrior.
With a mocking salute Mereel turned and headed for bed, whistling a jaunty tune as he went...

*Ellie lead the trio into the cantina. The cantina was alive with noise and commotion as the afternoon rush was in full swing. Mandalorians, both armored and unarmored, filled the room as the took a break from their work. Even with such a large crowd, people still tried to make a path for Ellie and her guests as the headed to get food.* "A little busier than I expected." *She said to Torin and Molan over the noise. Finally, she made her way to the front of the line and began to fill her plate.* "We've increased in several work projects. So this place has been seeing a lot more people lately."
*With food in hand and paid for, she made her way to an open table and sat down. Now that she had food in front of herself, she suddenly realized that she actually was hungry. Refraining from digging in to quickly, she paced herself to allow her guests to enjoy their lunch.* "I have to ask. Have you ever been to Ordo before, or is this your first time here?"

Following Ellie, Torin notes the level of activity in the cantina, as well as the overall feel of the prevailing mood, both of which suggest to him that Clan Ordo is experiencing a period of productivity that, should it prove sustainable, will serve the clan well; such heightened periods are not uncommon in the wake of new leadership, of course, and it will be up to Ellie to see that it does not dwindle into nothingness when the newness fades and becomes routine. Fortunately for Clan Ordo, from what Torin can tell after interacting with her even briefly, Ellie does not strike him as someone who would permit such complacency, either in herself or in others.
Shaking his head, Torin says in Mando'a, "My first time. Molan, already digging into his meal, makes a grunt accompanied by a nod intended to communicate that he, too, has never been to Ordo. After taking a bite of his food, Torin asks Ellie conversationally, Did you grow up here? Is there a place that best defines or embodies it for you? Is there someplace we should we be sure to see while we're here to be sure we experience the true Ordo?"

*Ellie's grin faltered some when Torin asked if she grew up on Ordo.* "No. I'm actually from Mandalore. My twin sister and I were raised in a small village in the northern hemisphere." *Her gaze looked somewhat distant as she remembered her childhood home.* "Our home was surrounded by a grove of veshok trees. I remember all the snow as well. Seemed like it would never melt off."
*Her attention turned back to the present. She tried pushing all the old memories from her mind so she could answer the rest of Torin's questions.* "I'm not sure if there's one place that embodies it for me. I spend a lot of time training, at least when I'm not in my office. The clan is defined by its peoples, not a place. Where ever they are embodies it for me. Whether that's here, or light years away. That's what I believe anyway." *She paused and thought about where the could visit the they could experience the true Ordo.* "The true experience? There's the training grounds, or the smithy. Both places gather large numbers of our best warriors and craftsman. But..." *Ellie thought for a moment on how to word her next statement.* "I think if you want to experience the true Ordo. Then you need to go down to the towns and villages. Mingle with the locals and live with them for a time. Then you'll get the true experience when you see things from their perspective."

Torin nods with an understanding smile when Ellie speaks of Manda'yaim, his surprise to hear that she is a twin evident in his expression even though he does not inquire into the matter further.
Laughing when Ellie has finished her answer to his question about where he and Molan might visit to gain more insight into Clan Ordo, Torin says in Mando'a, "Well spoken. It was, in retrospect, perhaps a foolish question. There are no shortcuts to gaining a true understanding of others, are there? After taking a drink, Torin says, While we won't have time for much mingling on this particular visit, perhaps we will return another time to spend more time among the locals. Pursing his lips in thought, an idea occurring to him, Torin suggests, Actually, in the interest of strengthening the bonds between Clans, it might be worth considering establishing regular training exercises with other Clans. We could rotate the world hosting the exercises, take advantage of the different terrains available, make them last long enough that the participants get a feel for the Clan hosting the particular exercise. To gauge Ellie's interest as well as afford her a chance to add her own input should she so desire, Torin asks, What do you think?"

*Ellie thought about Torin's proposal. Having other clans visit and participate in training exercises wasn't a bad idea. Not only would it strengthen ties, but it would also gauge the fighting abilities of others. She gave Torin a nod and spoke in Mando'a* "That doesn't sound like a bad idea, actually. A little competition might be a good way to get everyone interested." *She leaned back in her chair and gave a nod towards the window.* "Ordo is mostly desert. So, dress for the heat."

Chuckling when Ellie advises him to dress for the heat, Torin waves a hand over the breastplate of his beskar'gam and says in Mando'a, "I don't vary my wardrobe much at all, as he, like all Mando'ade adheres to the Resol'nare no matter the environment he finds himself in. I'll be sure to stay properly hydrated though," he jokes.
Once they have all completed their meals, Torin stands and says, "Thank you, Ellie, for your time. We'd not want to take up any more of it than we have, and have much to set in motion as a result of all that we've spoken of. Expect our engineers in a week's time, he reminds her, and then says, I will speak of the idea to arrange training exercises with the other clans as I meet with them to discuss their fleets, and let you know if and when something more concrete has been arranged."

*Ellie gave a small chuckle at Torin's response.* "That's good to hear."
*She stood when Torin did have him a slight nod.* "No need to thank. It's always good to receive visits from fellow Aliit'alor. Well, depending on the circumstance anyway. We'll be ready to receive them by then, I'll get the orders out right away and everyone briefed on the happenings." *Ellie began to lead Torin towards the hangar.* "If the other clans do agree on the training exercises, then Clan Ordo is more then willing to host them here."

Chuckling when Ellie jokes about how the nature of a meeting with another Aliit'alor is determined by what that meeting concerns, Torin quips in Mando'a, "Haat o'r an nuhune *, and then nods after she explains that she will takes the steps needed to have her people ready for when his engineering team arrives, and that she is willing to have Ordo host the training exercises they had spoken of should he find that other clans are interested in participating in them, Good. Smiling as he holds out his hand for Ellie to shake, Torin says, I will let you know which of the other clans will be participating in the exercises with ours as I learn of them so that we can get an idea of the arrangements needed, as well as of when a good time would be to hold the first of what I hope will be many such exercises. If you ever decide to visit Manda'yaim, you are more than welcome to visit and stay in Norg Bral while you are there. After Molan has said his farewell, Torin nods and smiles as he tells Ellie, Ret'urcye mhi, Ellie."
As Torin and Molan are making their way back to their ship, they begin discussing the arrangements that need to be made with Agamar and on Manda'yaim to have the engineers and resources they will need transported to Ordo, and then of where their next destination should be given that they had not planned out their itinerary in advance so that their schedule could remain a flexible one.

*Ellie gave Torin a small nod.* "I may have to take you up on that offer. It would be good to visit home again." *Her smile almost faltered at the thought of home. She really hadn't been there since returning to Mandalore. Regaining her composure, she put on a more serious expression.* "Ret'urcye mhi, Torin." *As the pair walked away, Ellie set about sending orders to her fleets. When Torin's men arrived, they would be ready to receive them.*
